Speaker 1 (00:01):
Well, they're the dynamic duo whose antics are taking over
your social media feed. Luke and Sassy Scott kicked off
their TikTok careers with posts like this, it's not Rocket signed.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
We've got to look angry in it, pretend to be
happy at least we find it. Do you even drink
water from there? If we would have gone to the
toilet in my house?

Speaker 1 (00:23):
You're sitting on when you gains when you were busy.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
The Shenanigan soon started to take off, building a whopping
four point eight million followers and a very successful podcast.
Now they're back for season two of the hit podcast series,
kicking off with a little preview of what we can expect.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Luke should have got.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Solo after season one.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
One of them is funny.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
I think it's big for everybody when I say that,
I hope this season has more Luke and less Scott.
I am so very very proud of you both. Yeah,
I'll give it like three minutes, but after that that's it.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Now. I'm not sure if you heard Scott's voice.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Hi guys from ho Chi Min City.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
I'm here because I wanted to get as far away.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
From your podcast drop as I possibly could. Oh, this
is familiar faces in there, lucasas he's got join us
slide from our Melbourne studio.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Hi guys, good morning, how are you both?

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Oh? This is exciting. What are we going to hear
this time around?

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Do you know what?

Speaker 3 (01:21):
You're going to hear?

Speaker 2 (01:21):
The same voice and the same echo of Luke repeating
and trying to like wind me up. But the point
of difference you can watch it now. So we were
season one, we were with a really big network and
all we heard from everybody around the world that was
listening and watching was saying, where can we watch this?
Where can we watch this? And it was something that

(01:43):
you know, you've got to listen to your audience if
you want to keep growing and keep you know, staying
relevant and keeping you know, I don't know the lights
on it home, you have to keep moving with it.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
And it makes sense because you guys are so visual,
Like there's so much going on with the face.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Yeah, and plus I've got the new you. Hey, you've
got to put that to good use.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
That is streaked.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
That's just painful.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
It.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
We don't have faces for radio. We do have a
dream to one day be on a tram in Melbourne.
Somehow though, and the hair is ready for it. Luke's
face just might need a bit of workout.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
You've collaborated with some pretty big celebrity names already, Katy Perry,
Selena Gomez, Kelly Osborne. Any big names lined up for
the new season?

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Listen?

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Well, first, the reason you're on the couch is because
Larry had to go all the way to Vietnam to
get away from the launch. But any names, listen. Yes,
I just want to say this, do you really think
people care about celebrities?

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Well, they care about you. I mean, you're the biggest
celebrity names obviously on the entire podcast.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
But for me, right like, I find it fascinating that
people are interested in celebrities or follow us, Whereas for me,
I'm interested in the ninety percent of our audience are
all female, all the way around the world, from the
ages of twenty four to fifty five. That's what fascinates me,
and that's what I'm interested in. Shorts, the legs follow us,

(03:06):
and they're lovely and they call and they're fun, and
we get to call the mates and hang out here
and there. But I'm interested in the people that we
make the content for however, I'll be sliding into the
dms trying to get a few on. That's why Eva
Longoria came on because Luke chats to her all the time.
So yes, we're good mates with a lot of them.
They've been very kind to us over the past few years.
But I love our audience and that's not our audience.

(03:29):
Well it's part of it, but the bigger audience is
people in different socioeconomics and I find that getting their
voice on the podcast is what really resonates and translates
to our audience. Having the average Joe down the street,
mum's hairdress, so like, that's what people want to hear.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Yeah, hell, do you notice how long you've been doing
this now, because it's just.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Over three years, but our podcast we did for two
years two but the content is three years. But I've
been saying I've been He's been my annoying little brother
for how old are you? I'm thirty four, So for
thirty four years you've been doing this, Scott doing I
look good.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Thirty four years in the making. So do you ever
stop and think how much your life has changed? Or
maybe it hasn't changed. I'm not sure has it.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
I think I get asked this question a lot, and
all of you will probably agree with me. But anything
you do in your life, no matter what you're doing,
it always somewhat feels right and normal at the time
when you're doing it. You normalize anything. It's a lot
of the time you have to stop and pinch yourself
and go, this isn't normal. But you normalize anything you
do do if that makes it true. Truthfully, Luke summarized

(04:36):
this really well the other day. We haven't changed, but
the world around us obviously has. And every day feels
like our birthday. You know, on your birthday when people
are excited to see you. It might be one person
or however many people you see that day, they're like,
happy birthday, and they bring a great energy to you.
That's me and Luke every single day, and that's because
of everyone in the suburbs and everyone we come across

(04:59):
recognizes us and they've seen us do something stupid. It's
made them laugh on the toilet or something somewhere sometime,
and that's kind of the nice thing. We get celebrated
by complete strangers all the time. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Actually, we can't let you guys go without talking about
Scott you're asking how that boy of yours, how they're going?

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Boys?

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Boys, Yes, Hello, Bobby Becker. Hello, open all of my
beautiful sons. They're doing so so well. They were, you know,
they were two months PREMI.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
There they are.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Oh boys, I love them. They are the absolute best.
I love being a dad and I love getting to,
you know, go home from this wild world that Luke
and I are into this beautiful, beautiful family that I've
created with Marcus, and we just love it. They're the best.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
What if they come home one day, I know, let's
say in about sixteen years time, and so we've got
this really great idea, you know, two brothers doing you know,
just piling crap on each other and making a living
out of it. Do you reckon they might come home
one day and say that.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
I reckon they might go the complete opposite way to
us too. However, Luke and I get to do really
incredible things often, and my philosophy now is I'm showing
my sons just how far two brothers really can go. However,
you just gave me an idea. Maybe I could replace
you one day. You always joke about leaving, and I'm like,

(06:24):
I've got two.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
You're right, hey, always great to see you too. Congratulations
on the success and of course the new season of
the podcast will can thank you see you in full
living color as it should be. The Luke and Sassy
Scott podcast is out today.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Thank you so much
