Speaker 4 (00:37):
This is the pickup.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Happy Monday everyone.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
It is Britt, Laura and Maddie Jay without Laura because
she's on Matornity to leave.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
So it's Brittain, Maddy j Brittany. Yeah, you're on it.
We're there to say goodbye to you soon.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
I need you to save her every second.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
That's a whole nother story.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Hey, on the weekend, I went to my cousin's wedding,
which was so beautiful.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
It was up the coast, it was in the bushland.
Really really, I love weddings. I love love.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
But something happened to me that's never happen and to
me in the history of me attending an event.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Oh, I want to guess what it is. You get
attacked by an animal? Am I clothes?
Speaker 3 (01:17):
That's also never happened to me at an event. No,
this isn't this isn't that bad? But it was funny.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
I wore like this beautiful not subtle, but like a
beautiful dress to the ground and it was like color.
It was blue, like a beautiful blue that I had
these big red flowers all over it.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
It was like quite like a hole to necklow cart.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
And then it was she I have a hole neck
low cartlorels.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Anyway, I walked in and ran into a girl wearing
the exact same thing.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
Yeah, smack banked into.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Each other and she was half my age, not that
it matters, but so what did you do?
Speaker 3 (01:49):
I pushed her in the pool? Obviously?
Speaker 5 (01:51):
What else?
Speaker 3 (01:52):
What else was?
Speaker 2 (01:55):
It's it's like you're you have hierarchy because you're related
to the person getting married.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
That's true. She wasn't related, So I did ask her
to leave.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Did you?
Speaker 1 (02:04):
We took a photo together with the butt of the
joke the whole night, you know, I was like, who better?
Speaker 3 (02:09):
I'm like, shut, aren't we both?
Speaker 4 (02:10):
Did? I?
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Actually I was at the beach and someone had the
chili little speedos.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
And we were like, oh ell yeah, But I don't.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Think he knew that he was wearing because I was like,
you've grown choice, and he looked very confused, and I
had to be like, oh, because we're both wearing.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
It's so funny when you have to explain, and I
know I was like, well, so swam off.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Maddy Jay.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
You have been well and truly sucked into the Big
Brother vortex, is you haven't you?
Speaker 2 (02:40):
I'm in my defense. You know who's really hooked in
my household?
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Your mom, my mom.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
I knew you'd say that Ellie loves reality TV, My mum.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
Yesterday morning was I turn it on. It's Big Brother
the evictions about to happen.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
It was eviction day.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
Now.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
I was driving five hours on the highway.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
I didn't get to watch it, but I know you
did and you have some thoughts.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
I know it was a big episode and we actually
have the victor on the line. She's being billed as
one of the best looking housemates we've ever had in
the history of Big Brother. She was involved in so
much drama, there was a love, there was arguments. It
is holly.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Welcome by if you're going to get anything coming out
of one of these shows, it's like the best looking.
Speaker 5 (03:20):
Oh, guys, at this point, I'm just happy to be here.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
How are you feeling what's it be in twelve thirteen? No, God,
I can't do the math. It's been less than a day, and.
Speaker 5 (03:32):
I don't ask me to do the math either. Wow,
what an amazing experience to be a part of. It's
just intense, really, like from start to finish. However, I'm
so grateful for the experience.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
And you know what I.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Didn't anticipate, Holly, such a beautiful love story. I've got
to ask the letter it was a covert operation? Did
you write the letter in the toilet? Is that what
happened to Colin?
Speaker 5 (03:58):
I can't give away my tricks, but it did. I
did sacrifice a lip lineup in the processor. That is love,
you know, as you know that there's no pens allowed
in the Big Brother House or paper. However, Colin and
I did say of a couple of the questions that
(04:19):
were sent in by the viewers at home that were
in relation to us, and we sort of had that
kept in the bedside table.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
What did the letter say? Tell me?
Speaker 5 (04:28):
I'm like chomping to know, guys, it's personal.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Did you drop the album in the letter?
Speaker 5 (04:35):
Potentially?
Speaker 2 (04:37):
She did, Holly, I honestly, hand on heart. I love
the love story between you and Colin. There was one
video and I don't know if you've seen it. It
was posted online and I had to defend you on
Colin because the video is is you guys sitting outside,
You're side by side. It looks like you look at
the camera and then pul Colin in close for a
(05:00):
cuddle whilst making eye contact with the camera.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
Do you remember that scene? Have you seen the footage?
Speaker 5 (05:07):
I haven't seen the foot but I can say the
thing is, like you do forget that there's cameras everywhere,
So like I probably was like zoning out, not even
realizing that the camera was there, because literally there's cameras everywhere.
Like I probably just wanted a hug.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
Are you guys going to seeing each other when Colin
leaves the house?
Speaker 5 (05:27):
Yeah, we have a little plan and we're intending on
sticking to it. We met under guys, we need to
have some level of privacy. Oh you don't, brother, That's
what I'd say. We've just been on national TV for
the last three weeks. You guys will see it all. Like,
stay tuned, get excited. It's all good. We're both really excited.
(05:52):
We've got our first date night lined up we're going
to go to Luna Park in Sydney. We're very lucky
that we both live in the same state.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Is he your favorite to win the show?
Speaker 5 (06:02):
Of course I might be biased, I might not be biased,
but I think Connor is also definitely a very intelligent
individual and he really he's a walking encyclopedia. So I
feel like, you know, Colin has a lot of support.
They all do. And it's going to get very intent
now because I feel like there's no distractions.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
If you could have changed anything at all on the
show with your time there, what would.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
It have been? Not a lot.
Speaker 5 (06:31):
I feel like I learned so much, even though I
may have, you know, put my hand in the fire
unintentionally a few times. That resulted in a huge amount
of personal growth and you can't put a price on that.
So the fact that you know, I didn't win, that's
totally fine because the lessons that I've learned and you know,
being able to co share, to co live, I have
(06:52):
not done that in a very long time with such
big personalities from all different walks of life. To be
able to recognize that you know what that actually you know,
maybe take that into consideration next time.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Hy and well, look, we can't wait to see what
happens after the show where Colin sees it, does the
relationship blossom does a fizzle.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
We're all here for it. But well done for surviving
the Big Brother House.
Speaker 5 (07:14):
Holly, Thank you. It was a very big past that
I was probably underqualified for, but we gave it a crack.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
You did well, so good Lucke. For the future, I'm
sure we're going to see you around.
Speaker 5 (07:26):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Our very own lovable Australian, Robert Irwin has just taken
the Dancing with the Stars US crown.
Speaker 4 (07:38):
Very proud of Rob, good friend of mine. We go
way back, oh gosh.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Way back to the jungle.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
He's not replied to any of my messages, but what
an achievement.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
What can the guy not do?
Speaker 1 (07:50):
The US Mirrorble producer Gracia said something like seventy two
million people tuned into that finale.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
That is insanity as someone who's a very good dancer.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Brittany, didn't you give it off halfway? Didn't you dance
with the Stars?
Speaker 4 (08:04):
I did Dancing with the Stars. It was right after
Lola was born. That was four years ago.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
I was going to blame. Oh, I thought you're blaming Lola.
I though feel like I was tired.
Speaker 4 (08:13):
I would never although it was quite the handicap.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
Look, I thought dancing was easy and it turns out
it's very hard. As someone who has dance experience, what
did you think of his performances?
Speaker 4 (08:24):
Was he worthy of winning? Do you think?
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Do you know what it is?
Speaker 1 (08:26):
There's been a lot of talk off the back of this,
right A lot of talk about he didn't deserve it,
or maybe it was rigged, a lot of people saying
it's rigged.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
I think there's a lot of jealousy right now.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
And what I want to say is you can think
what you want. He was a brilliant dancer like he's dancing.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
And let's keep in mind, right because I'm a bit
jealous too. I did Dancing with the Stars last year.
I did make it to the finale, but I didn't win.
He's twenty one, he has flexibility on his side, his limber,
he has the energy. I feel like I could have
done a lot better if I had done this fifteen
years ago as well.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Can we defend ourselves for one second or more so?
Can I defend myself?
Speaker 3 (09:01):
Yeah, that's what I'm doing. I am defending myself.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
So we had I think it was three or four
weeks of practic.
Speaker 4 (09:08):
Before the show starts.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Yeah, that's literally four weeks.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
I don't know how it works in the States, but
strictly Come Dancing, which is the UK version, which is
just as big as America.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
Not quite there, but it's huge.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
I heard they get six months of training before the
competition starts.
Speaker 5 (09:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
I wouldn't be surprised with that because Roberts pointed toes
as he pleas through the air scream.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
Trained and it wasn't just a one hit wonder.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
I know that you can't put your toes in a play.
I know, I know, but you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
He was.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
He was brilliant. It was incredible.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
He was in the final with the influencer Alex Earl,
who is absolutely massive, and she was also phenomenal.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
She was very good and he had no ribs. He
did have a rib, it was just a little bit damage.
They had to change the choreography to suit the damaged rib.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
I had the same thing in my finale. I had
a cracked rib.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
And then you didn't win, but rob did win.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Yeah, okay, I can see we're going here, but it
is like a beautiful full circle moment. Because ten years
ago Bindy, his sister, also won dance through this, she
won the Mirror Ball, So it's very in the film,
and he did.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
He did reference his dad after he won.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
He cried and he said, I wish he could have
seen it, and I really wish he could have been here.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
I'm sure he is watching down, but I think this
is the thing that might be exciting me the most.
Rumor has it that our very own Robert Irwin might
be the next US Bachelor.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
I do you think is there any truth to this?
Speaker 1 (10:31):
I absolutely think there's truth to it because he's so
loved over there. He is young, he's eligible, he is
the walking green flag that the world needs to see.
And I guess because Terry is American, it sort of
makes sense, like that's why they can do the US
shows because they are half American.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
Okay, I don't know if this answer will play the audio.
I don't know if he's teased this on purpose, but
when he was questioned after the show, this is what
he said.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Hey, all, I can say watch this space stranger things
have happened. Who knows Whitney any thoughts? Absolutely not.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
Oh my Gods, we'll.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
See maybe you know is it?
Speaker 4 (11:12):
I want to do it even.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
More now now I want to do it one now
and I know you.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Don't want me to do you know what I would say, Joe,
I've got a theory.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
I think he will get asked to do it.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
My advice to Robert when he calls me, and I
will give him my honest feedback because he will call
me obviously as someone that's done dancing and the Bachelor series.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
Of course, he needs to give it ten years.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
He's young, he is the Bachelor is to settle down
and find your life partner. I would be going out
there and living my best life for a while, getting
dating whoever you want, get some experience.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
I think he's too young for it now.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
In my eyes, Robert Irwin, it's still thirteen.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
I know he's twenty one.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
It's still too young. I actually think, call me crazy,
but I think him and Whitney can hook it up.
She doesn't want him to do it because she secretly
loves him.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
I think Whitney's in a relationship.
Speaker 4 (12:02):
Damn it. I think I'm out.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
I can see very scarily, but it would be sad.
I think if Robert was going to do The Bachelor,
would not to see.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
Him do it on home soil, But I don't think
he would.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
If you're up again, if you've got both offered, you.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
You're doing the US.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Yeah, I would just think about the dates at Australia Zoo. Actually,
in the American Bachelor, they could fly out here for
a date at Australia Zoo.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Yeah, they've actually got the pat cash.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
I had the TikTok Awards, Brittany. And for those of
you who may not know that there were even a
TikTok Awards on it was in its fifth year and
it is a celebration of the best creators on TikTok
across fourteen categories.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
It's like the Logis but for TikTok.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
But you weren't there as a creator of us spectator.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
You had a very important job.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Well, I was there with Stan and maybe like a
week leading up to the event, I got a call
from TikTok and I answered the call and I said, look,
we would like you to be involved in the actual
awards show.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
I was doing some stuff outside.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Is TikTok calling you like big brother?
Speaker 4 (13:01):
Like who's the person that calls his name's John.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
Okay, he's a real person.
Speaker 4 (13:04):
Yeah, he's lovely, really nice, very friendly.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
And he called me, he said with like you be
involved in the awards And I was like, oh my god,
maybe I'm going to present like an award.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
Maybe. Yeah, I'm involved in the show.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
So pst with Sophie.
Speaker 4 (13:16):
Sophie Monk was hosting.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
Maybe she needs someone to bounce off, and so they
said we need someone before the award show starts to
come out on stage and to then get them to
then move into the middle seats, like move down to
the back.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
God, that was you.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
And I was like, but he said it in a
way which it was like what an honor, What an
honor to be there to move people in their seats.
Speaker 4 (13:38):
And I was like, do you know what, John, I
am your guy. I'll do it. And I said to Laura,
I'm like, You're never gonna believe it. I'm like the guy.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
So you weren't even the crowd warm up.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
Your job wasn't to warm people up for like Sophie
in the host It was just to.
Speaker 3 (13:52):
Get people in their seat for an usher.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
I was like an on stage usher. Correct. Yeah. When
I was a role that I was glad to take.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Turns out people don't want to move in their seats
once they sit down.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
It was hard going. I was still uncomfortable iruggling.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
I think I managed to move one person only because
I came off the stage and I grabbed him by
the collar and I got him to move seats.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Say on, one person moved, and your whole stick of
trying to get people to.
Speaker 4 (14:18):
Move in my success rate wasn't good.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
So I got one of five thousand, what to me
moved And then I looked to my right to be like, well,
I guess you know. I was told it was going
to be five minutes, and then he said I need.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
I need five more minutes. No he did not.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
So then he there's a big clock that was a
countdown clock. So I looked and there's five more minutes remaining,
and I was like, oh, what do I do? And
I did have in my housekeeping notes. I had a
note to say how to stand up comedy said something
about the toilets and something about the bar, and so
I was thinking, well, how can I got two things
to talk about? How can I fill in five whole
(14:56):
minutes in front of five thousand people at the awards?
Speaker 3 (14:59):
Well, I do remember this because last week before the awards,
you were running some of the jokes by us.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
I produced grace in myself and asking what you should
and shouldn't do, and I clearly remember we vetoed ninety
nine percent of it.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
What Okay, I did have a couple of jokes in
my back pocket. Producer Grace thoughts on.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
The jokes, Well, I don't know that we vetoed it.
Speaker 4 (15:20):
I remember you guys said yes.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
I don't think we said yes.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
I think we said if you've got nothing else, potentially
and I had we said as a last resort, I
guess it was.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
It was an extra five minutes on the car.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
I was up on stage.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Okay, Now I said a joke which I thought went
pretty well. After the event, I jump on TikTok, I
see a video and this is what the video says.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
I feel like it was quite a tacky event. The
host started with who's done a shit tonight?
Speaker 4 (15:51):
Let's give a round with her pause for the toilets.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
Assuming is you so you didn't.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Listen to us for the record, and she even says,
like the on screen, it wasn't Sophie Monkey, it was
the host before.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
So you didn't get a name. It was just the
host before. That's a good thing you didn't she didn't
know you.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
So I said, if you have gone to the toilet
and done an shi.
Speaker 4 (16:12):
T make some noise?
Speaker 3 (16:15):
Did anyone make a noise?
Speaker 4 (16:16):
One person?
Speaker 3 (16:17):
Did the person you made move?
Speaker 4 (16:21):
Is it me am II the problem? Or is it
the kids of TikTok?
Speaker 1 (16:24):
When you said that, did anybody cheer or react?
Speaker 3 (16:29):
Or was it like? Was it your worst nightmare where
it's just silence?
Speaker 2 (16:33):
A lot of people were talking, there was a lot
of sh One person made some noise, and I said,
that's the spirit. Good on you. Will there be a
second which the response to that was no noise, And
he said, then I thought I'll start talking about the bar.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
Did that go any better?
Speaker 4 (16:49):
Not really, because the bar was closed.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
What have you learned from it? Maybe? Is it to
listen to produce a grace of myself?
Speaker 2 (16:56):
I think you've got to pick your audience. And it's
evident to me that wasn't my audience. My audience is
out there. There are people out there who find those
jokes funny. It just wasn't the right crowd.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
It's also I'm sorry, there's nothing worse than when you've
you've been told what you do, you've got the time
frame to do it, you know what you can deliver
in that time, and then they spring on you that
you've got to double what you've done and off the cuff.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
It's like cooking a meal for five people, and then
five minutes before the meal is ready, someone says, actually
there's ten people. Okay, that's what I was dealing with.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
Yeah, that's that's tough. Has it put you off?
Speaker 4 (17:30):
Not at all.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
I will continue my Pooh jokes because I think Brittany,
if you can't laugh about Pooh, what can you?
Speaker 1 (17:37):
You know what your problem is. It's not that people
can't laugh about Pooh in a room of five thousand
people has been live streamed.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
No one wants to put their hand up and said, yeah,
I just share that's the problem. No one wants to
admit to it.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
As one person did message me and they said, I
actually did go the time. I was too embarrassed to
say thanks for.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
Support, buddy, I could have done with you out there.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
Oh well, look, I wish you better luck next time,
and I will write your jokes next time.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
That is it from us
