Kelcey are engaged.

It's speaker news. I reckon that's gonna be bigger than
any of the royal weddings, Like this is it. This
is our royal wedding. It's on par with it. Grace
is saying no, no, I disagree, producer Grace. I reckon,
this is a kin to a royal wedding.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
There are not.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Many people in the world that can interrupt a news
delivery with their wedding announcement other than the royals. So
I'm putting it on par with pop culture's royal announcement.
You've been on this ride with Taylor Swift for so long,
like she's such a phenomenon that you're just rooting for
us so much to find her forever person. I'm not
scared to admit I shed a tear.

This morning in bed when I opened my eyes and
that was the first thing I said, or one hundred
people had sent it to me. My husband had sent
it to me. You sent it to me, I cried.
I cried a happy tear. I felt like she's my
friend that's finally found her penguin.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
I was, as I already told you guys, just before,
I was sitting on the loo. My youngest daughter was
in the toilet because you know your parent, you can't
go to it by yourself.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
And I was.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Scrolling on my phone and then I saw it. And
my oldest daughter is obsessed with Taylor Swift. So then
everyone was in the bathroom wist. I was on the
loo and we're all talking about Tail Swift getting engaged. Well,
what a time to be alive in my household.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
My favorite thing about it, and maybe about Taylor as
a whole, but it's like the level of easter eggs
that she's known to be dropping her whole life about anything,
any announcements or people call her a bit of a
genius in dropping hints a year in advance, like she's
really good at that.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
I always question this though, because my so like half
of them. Yes, I think she does come up with
some very strategic Easter eggs in her music or in
her promotion or her pr publicity, et cetera. But also
sometimes I think we're just looking for signs and the
signs aren't there, and we're like, oh, yes, well she
looked to the left. It must mean that she's you
know what, you know.

I just feel it was a good East regular So
let me let me talk you through it. So this
is what some of the people are saying. Okay, So
she announced the engagement on August twenty six, like US
base August twenty six, and now thirteen times two is
twenty six. Thirteen's her favorite number, and there's two of them,
so they're saying that maybe this is all surrounding thirteen

Stretch I've listened to how cute this is.

I was born on the thirteenth.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
I turned thirteen on Friday the thirteenth. My first album
went gold in thirteen weeks. My first song that ever
went number one. It had a thirteen second intro. And
when I won the Horizon Award at the c May Awards,
the producer came up to me when I was sound
checking and said, all right, we're gonna go in thirteen seconds.

There are so many numbers. Wow.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
To be fair, she sounds about thirteen there. She's just
you know why the world's watched her grow up like
she's been the most famous person in the world since
she was about thirteen years old.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
I would say she's up there with Beyonce and the Queen.
I know she announced her her new album on the thirteenth,
but do you not think that the twenty six, in
dividing it by two so it comes to thirteen, is
a bit of a stretch that one.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
No, it's her favorite number, and there's two of them.
They're looked in forever on the twenty six. I think
it's okay.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Let me tell you what I think.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Do I think Travis Kelcey is the one the mastermind behind.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
All of this?

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Absolutely not, But I think her team is. I think
she's probably gone to her team. She's smart enough, she's
a promotional genius, a marketing genius. She's obviously gone to
her team of hundreds of people said whenever this day happens,
make sure you plan it out, probably that we can
use it, you know, for the Easter eggs and stuff.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Yeah, okay, maybe maybe you've sold me on it the
other one here, and I'm I mean, as a jury
designer from long long ago, I'm obsessed with this ring,
but I'm also obsessed with the story behind it. So
the engagement ring is resembling the logo so you might
have seen it. It's like a t in an s
in this very vintage kind of art Daco inspired border.

So this ring is supposed to have been inspired by
that iconic lettering, which is linked to her buying back
her masters, so all of her albums that she didn't
own for so long. But also, fascinatingly, five hundred and
fifty thousand dollars is what it's come out that this
ring is valued. And also it is an eight carrot
vintage diamond, which is just imagine walking out of the

house with a ring on that is literally worth the
same amount as most people's houses. I know you wouldn't
want to.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Wear it, would you. No, Like, then what's the point?

Speaker 1 (04:28):
But maybe it's a fake? No, I don't think it is.
I truly don't think it is. I don't know. I
just think, like, I know you've got a lot of money,
but that just feels obscene.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
No, it's relative, right, Like with how much money she's got,
it's the same amount as an average engagement ring, So
you've got to think of it like that. Is it
an obscene amount of money? Absolutely, But to them it's like,
I don't know, I'm happy for us.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Their engagement also looks like a wedding, so they've already
gone off.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Yeah, well, oh my god, the wedding. I haven't even
thought that far ahead. I can't wait.
