Are you ready?
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (00:59):
My name is fe Edang and I am a human
design life coach known as the Positivity Queen. I use
human design, intuition, mindset, amongst other tools to help you
live your best life. In this series, we're going to
talk about more further on what is human design and
helping you to unpack your own chart in terms of alignment,
setting goals, and being your best self and just feeling
(01:21):
that when it comes to life, excited, happy and fulfilled
and really having your soul set on fire and just
feeling like I love my life so much. And so
let's get started on what is human design. Human design
is a guide, a roadmap, a manual, a blueprint to
your soul. You can think about it as your soul's
(01:42):
contract to the universe in this lifetime. And it very
much answers those big curious questions that we all want
guidance and direction for. And so it's such a beautiful
tool to understand who you are, why you are, the
way that you are, as well as your life's purpose
in this lifetime. Human design is very laid and we
can apply this to all areas of your life, whether
(02:03):
it's your career, your relationships, your health, your success, money, love,
all of the things human design can be applied for.
And what I really love about human design is it's
known as the science of differentiation. It's about revealing who
you are and what makes you so unique and special.
There are over two billion different types of human design,
(02:25):
and in fact, human design synthesizes what we know as
the modern and ancient sciences and modalities. What you may
be familiar with is astrology, Kabbala, the Book of Truths
in Chinese the ii Ching as well as a tree
of life, and so human design takes that all in
to give us a tool to really help us. And
(02:46):
so human design has been around since the eighties and
was started by rah URUHa and now has since evolved.
You become something that is more modern and people are
getting familiar with it because we're now talking about energy
and what makes it so special uniquely to us and
our personal system. We have tools like astrology and personality tests.
(03:06):
Human design you can think of it as a love
child or that's supercharged to the next level. Because other
modalities often tell you about yourself and give you the
map the lay of the land. Think about human design
as the compass the practicality on what to do with
this information. And so human design is going to produce
what we call a body graph. This is based on
(03:27):
your time of birth, your location, and where you were born.
This is inputed into a website which will generate the
chart for you. And all of this is based on
the planetary positions, the energy, the neutrinos, the kind of
quantum physics, the modern science element that's imprinted at your time.
And so with human design, we say that it's a
tool to help you. Please use your discernment, take what resonates,
(03:51):
discard the rest, and yeah, I really like to think
about it as an experiment and seeing how it can
really unlock all these different layers to you, because it's
about the unlearning, the unbecoming, and the deconditioning of what
society told you to be and how you're supposed to
act and make it all uniquely about you and very
much how to make those big decisions in life. So
(04:11):
it can be applied to your daily life, especially helpful
if you're looking for direction, guidance and transitions in your
life as well. So what are the different types of
human design? There are actually five, and so I'm going
to explain them to you. Your type is the quality
of your energy. And so we've got consistent energy makers,
which is about seventy percent of the world if you
(04:33):
are a generator or you're a manifesting generator, where as
thirty percent of the world is burst energy. This is
not to say they don't have as much consistent energy. However,
it's about when they are in those bursts, they are
really powerful, can even can be sometimes more powerful than
a generator or a manifesting generator in those moments, and
so those are manifestors, projectors, and reflectors. So in the
(04:55):
ideal world, manifestors ID eight. You know, they start things.
So if this was say, for example, a movie, they
would be the scriptwriters. Then we have the projectors. They
are here to guide our energies and direct us, so
the director. In this analogy, generators and manifesting generators are
all about taking action and getting things done. So in
(05:15):
our movie analogy, they are about being the actors, the actresses,
building the sets. Reflectors. I would say they are the
financiers and the movie critics or reviewers because they really
reveal and assess what the majority the community think about everything.
So this is what it would be like to kind
of put it all into peace is into action. So
let's break this down for you. Generators make up thirty
(05:38):
seven percent of the world and they have an open,
enveloping aura. This is about being a magnet life force
pulling life to you. This is all about being turned
on and passionate. When you are in alignment, you feel satisfaction.
When you are not yourself, you feel frustrated. Generators are
really here to be focused and to really find what
lights them up. I think generators can fall into the
(05:59):
track of behaving a certain way or just existing. But
remember this is about vitality and really feeling energy itself.
It's the epitome of I love life so much and
life loves me in return. It's kind of like that
lucky girl energy. She loves life and so life loved
her back. The half sibling is manifesting generators, which make
up thirty three percent of the world, sharing the qualities
(06:21):
of the generator open enveloping aura, life, force, satisfaction, frustration.
The difference being the defined throat in human design. Galvanizers
gives further energy because it's connected to your energy centers.
So it's about being multi passionate, liking something, starting something changing,
shifting to the next one. It's about being very fast
moving and being very busy as well. This is about
(06:43):
your energetic quality. We've also got projectors who make up
twenty percent of the world, and you've got a focused, absorbing,
one to one aura. Projectors are the new wave of
souls to this earth, and projectors are very much truth seekers,
the here to guide, support and lead when you are
in a life you feel successful when you are not
yourself you feel bitter, and this is all about your superpower,
(07:05):
which is really truly seeing people details that other people
don't see, and being really insightful, being able to notice
on patterns and really feel into your intuition, which is
inherently as a projector this higher level of consciousness. Right,
and I see for projectors, a theme is very much
about unlearning people, pleasing and really understanding. It's like being
(07:26):
a side character in a movie and realizing, wait, you're
meant to be the main character the whole time, so
really stepping into that and not trying to operate Like
seventy percent of the world, which is generators. We say
generators when they're running marathons. Projectors like to swim or
do yoga. It's about having your own rhythm and beat.
We've got ten percent of the world which is manifestos,
and you have a closed aura and it almost has
(07:48):
this nature of being repelling, which is outwards pushing. Manifestors
are here to really activate people, which we can say
they can trigger people. They're very expansive, They've got this big,
intense energy. It's about being a creator, a go getter,
and a starter. Ninety percent of humans and design types
have to wait for external stimulus. Manifestors, you're not It's
(08:09):
all about being internal, and so alignment for you feels
like peace, and your not self feels like anger. Manifestors
are here to be bold. They here to take up space,
to have impact and to have a vision that can
be deemed as crazy in world, but hey, they are
the ones that are here to do that one percent
of the world, the rare unicorns, the very special reflectors.
(08:31):
And you've got an open aura. That doesn't mean that
you're easily influenced. You don't have any sense of identity,
but it's now that this teflon quality. It reflects because
you're here to sample energy, and it's bubbling because it's
here to protect you. And so reflectors are here to
reflect rather than identify. You're not meant to be attached,
your shape shifters, your chameleons, and it's like being in
(08:53):
a magical, mystical world because alignment for you is surprised
the unexpected, and when you are not yourself, you feel
disappointed often from expectations. You sample energy and you'r this
living mirror and barometer which shows the world. Hey, if
you're in a good environment, the reflector is happy and
satisfied and if not, then there's things to work upon.
And so these are all the different human design types
(09:15):
that we need as a society to function and for
our own personal growth and development. And so the question
is how do you read your human design? Well, you
don't actually need to have the technical know how because
nowadays we have these really useful websites where you can
put in information and it will spit out your bodygraph
chart for you as well as giving you the basic
(09:36):
information so that you can do that. And I'm going
to explain how so your chart is how to start
unpacking the body graph and so you can go into
a website. I have used yovianarchive dot com. This is
the purest website, the traditional human design website that the
creator Rah used and all of his data and information
on human design is stored there. And so what you
(09:58):
need is your day, month, year of birth, the hour
and the minute, the country and the city, the location
you were born. Typically it needs to be very accurate
because two hour increments can change your human design. That
is something to take note of. If you don't know
your birth chart information, you can try and speak to
your parents or call it the hospital where you're born.
And there's the specific readers like myself who can use
(10:20):
intuition or tools to kind of help you find a
data frame if you don't know it, but it is
very handy to make sure that you do know it
because it can change different aspects of your chart once
you put in that information. Here, this is your body graph,
and I'm going to go through and explain to you
how to unpack and read this. But first of all
the basics that you'll need to know. You can see
here your type, your profile, your definition, your authority, your strategy,
(10:45):
your not self, and I'm going to explain all of
this further, but just giving you like a top line overview,
so we can see here that the right hand side
of your chart is your personality. This is what you
know of yourself, how people perceive you. Likely whereas your
design is unconscious. We believe it was created three months
before you entered your body. And so you can see
(11:06):
here all the lines represent different energies that are connected
to shapes, and these shapes represent different energy centers in here.
And so with this system, there's all these different layers.
The numbers represent something, the shapes represent something the colors
represent something. So once you put all those layers together,
you can really start to unpack and understand your human
(11:27):
design chart. So let's begin by unpacking it with your strategy.
So in human design they say the two most important
things are your strategy and your authority. If you just
followed that for the rest of your life, you will
come into alignment. All the other things is like icing
on the cake the details, but the two most important
things are your strategy and authority. So your strategy is
(11:49):
how the universe and the world interact with you and
how you interact with it. Your strategy will depend on
your human design type. And again this is an overview.
In the second part of this video, I'm going to
go deeper into your strategy and authority, so don't worry
about that too much for now. With this overview, if
you are a generator and a manifesting generator, you are
(12:09):
here to respond to the world. Manifesting generators are also
here to inform. After that, if you are in response
to something, this is an external stimulus. If you are
a projector, you are here to wait for the invitation
and this requires external recognition. Do note that this is
for the big decisions in life. This is not about
what to eat for breakfast, and so that is something
(12:30):
to be mindful of and seeing it as a screening
strategy instead of something that will slow you down, which
is a misconception. Manifestors are here to initiate and inform.
That is your strategy. And again this is internal. This
is not about the outside world, but going inwards and
seeing your own process there reflectors. Your strategy is to
wait and this is based on the external, which is
(12:52):
the lunar, the moon, the twenty eight days is what
human design says in modern times. I say it's about
waiting because it's not always possible. And like projectors, this
is all about you know, for the big things in life,
not necessarily the small things. And so your authority is
how you make the best decisions. We're going to dive
in deeper, but to give you an overview, we've got emotional,
(13:13):
which makes up fifty percent of the world. Your sacral,
which is about your gut, splinic, which is about your
inner knowing. Your ego is your heart. The g is
the identity center in human design. Your environment is very
much about your processing your mental thoughts in a certain place,
around certain people and lunar of course for reflectors, which
(13:33):
is based on waiting and the twenty eight days on
the moon. As I have mentioned, going deeper uncovering. Another
layer is about your energy centers, your energy hubs. These
are your natural strengths. This is where you are open
to influence as well. Often people say to me, hey, Fee,
is it good that I have this amount? Is it bad?
And I just say it simply is based on your
(13:53):
human design, your greatest growth and your evolution and what
you're here to experience as a human in this lifetime.
And so the energy centers are the shapes. So if
they are open, this means that they will be likely
white on your chart. It means as it's inconsistent energy,
it's fluid, it's going to be changing. If it's defined,
it's going to be colored in. And this is where
(14:14):
you have consistent energy. So you may be familiar with
the chakra system. There's seven. In human design, there's nine,
and each energy center represents a certain area of life,
so you can understand yourself better. Your head is about
inspiration and ideas. Your jana, your third eye is about awareness,
how you process information and perspectives. Your throat is about
(14:35):
communication as well as manifestation, making things happen. This is
about taking inspired action. Your g center is responsible for
your identity, your direction and love. Your heart is all
about ego, will power, self esteem. We've also got the
sacral here, which is all about energy, life, force, sensuality.
We've got the solar plexus, which is all about your emotions,
(14:59):
the spleen, intuition, fears, and health survival. And then we've
got your root, which is about adrenaline and stress as well,
so another layer of your human design chart. Then we
go into your lines, and this is all about your personality,
how you kind of approach the world. And so your
overall profile is going to consist of two numbers, and
again you'll remember recognize it from your chart for a
(15:21):
little fun tibot or technicality, it's actually the first number
of your personality, the sub number as well as the
following one for your soul by design. So the first
number is you're conscious what you know of yourself, and
by design is your soul which you may or may
not know about yourself. What's really interesting is there's going
to be six profile lines and they make up different combinations.
(15:43):
One to three is inwards. This is about your own
personal journey and kind of relying on what's going on internally.
Four to six relies outwardly and it involves other people.
So that's something to take note of as well, in
terms of being more introverted or being more extrovert. So
the profile lines represent different archetypes. Number one is the investigator,
the truth seeker, very much the teacher, very much about
(16:06):
details and knowledge and learning. The second is about the hermit.
This is intuitive, natural gifts, the guru. The third is
the matter This is all about experimenting, being like a
rebel in terms of the archetype, being adventurous, trying new things.
Number four is the opportunist. This is all about relationships, networking,
being the prophet. Number five is the heretic. This is
(16:29):
about being the hero, the messenger. This is where projections
can occur, expectations. Number six is about being the role
model leading first, being this adventurer having life experiences by
doing things. It's also buddherlike in nature because it's wise,
it understands. So the profile lines make up a different
array of different personalities. And I've kind of put this
(16:50):
all down here. What I wanted to show you is
influential examples people that have this human design personality and
how they approach the world. Something that I'd like for
you to note of is see how the different personalities.
Just because you have a certain aspect of your human design,
it doesn't come to life the same as other people
because there are all these other layers to talk about,
(17:11):
as we already mentioned, strategy, authority and your energy centers.
And so for example, what do Kim Kardashian Elon Musk
have in common? Well, they're both martyr heretics, right, but
the way that they do that is very different. Elon
Musk has been very experimental in terms of technology, and
he's quite bold in his statements and he has a
lot of projections from the tech world and free speech,
(17:32):
whereas Kim Kardashian, her projections come from women and what
you know, being in an influencer in the sense of
trendsetting and her projections coming there and she's been very experimental,
but doing different things and marketing and pr and publicity. Right.
So just again showing the differences in your human design,
even though you share similar things, it all comes to
(17:53):
life differently. So why is it important to know your
human design, Well, it's awareness. It lets you to undertand hey,
if this is a reference point for me, then I
can see where I have been conditioned, I have taken
on things that may not necessarily serve me. This could
be from my upbringing, my life experience is what I
heard in the media, and from there I can also
(18:14):
start to see patterns based on what human design tells
me and the shadows, so they can start to do
the work on yourself. Human design is really important because
it helps us to accept and understand the why. And
I think that really brings in this element of self
acceptance and self love and self knowledge, which is really beautiful.
(18:34):
And I think it's important because it's personalized to you.
Only everybody's chart comes to life in different ways based
on your interpretations, your life experiences. You actually experimenting with
your human design. So remember that human design is about
feeling empowered. It's not about feeling restrictive, and it's an experiment.
(18:55):
It's not meant to make you feel like limited or
restricted in any sort of way. Human design is also
really passionate about the not self and this is from
the mind. This isn't necessarily the true you, and it's
about bringing everything back into the body. For so many
reasons this is important, such as how to process your emotions,
how to actually see what you want versus what you
(19:16):
think you want all the world around you. And I
love that human design gives us direction, a guide and
a reference, because we can get so lost and it's like, hey,
I don't know what I should be thinking, and so
I really love that human design gives you a different
perspective of who you are and you can start to
unpack that based on your similarities, your differences. You know
(19:37):
how much you've progressed how you used to be versus
how you are now. I think it's really handy to
have that. I definitely come back to mind time and
time again, and ultimately it's this big permission slip to
be you, your true authentic self. Human design wants to
take away everything that does not serve you and help
you as a reminder into coming back to that. Now.
(19:58):
Human design there's so much much information, and so that
is also really powerful because there's all these different layers
and as you get to know it more, you'll start
to unpack more and see, like you know, in your
human design chart, you've got over twenty six different energies
at any one time. This can change. And so this
is just telling you there is so much information out
there in saying that, how can you make sure that
(20:20):
you aren't defined based on your human design? Like I said,
it's an experiment, not a definition. It's not a rule book.
So take what resonates and really understand that there are
real factors in human design. Let's take for example, generators
and many gens. In an ideal world, you would only
be doing what lights you up and what you love. However,
(20:41):
that may be realistic, you may not have the resources
to do so, so don't let that limit you. But
again I would say to not let it define you
is to be empowered by your human design, not restrictive.
Understand that human design isn't a religion or a belief system.
It's a tool that has been created for you to
be to use. And so I think that you know
(21:02):
in life, we're not here to be boxed in or
definition by any tool, whether it's human design, astrology, or
personality tests. If we can take a bit of lightness
to it and curiosity and see that, you know, to
get really deep on you here, that we are beyond
everything that is like we are consciousness, life itself, the universe, Like,
how can you be restricted by any terms of that?
(21:24):
And so seeing that you are divine and you are
so special and it should never make you feel like, oh,
this is only me. It's just a reference point or
a point of frame for you to see a framework
and that may or may not resonate with you. But again,
I think being understanding that human design is full of layers,
and so sometimes we think that we're being defined by
(21:45):
one layer, but we haven't got the full picture or
the story woven in, and there's other things that we
have to take into account, such as actual real life circumstances.
So the question is how does your human design chart
shift every year? Yeah, it actually does daily, monthly, yearly
and along your life as well. So think about it
as life cycles and energetic weather. And this is very
(22:08):
much that mantra as above so below as above being
the universe, the stars being imprinted so below on Earth.
It's about understanding. It's very much like nature. It has
this big impact not only on us as individuals, but
collective energy. So who feels these cycles more well? Particularly
reflectors based on the moon. That's because they've got those
(22:28):
open centers, and the nature of reflectors goes is a
one percent, which is different. We've got the six profile
line because you're here to live life in three stages,
and so at certain ages, particularly around your satin return,
which is twenty seven to thirty one, there's going to
be pivotal shifts as well as your second stage, which
is around your forties and your fifties, as you're starting
to emerge from the cocoon into a butterfly. Every year,
(22:52):
your human design chart changes when it goes through a birthday.
You know, it's like the sun goes back to the
original position when you born. This is a definitive shift.
This is like a new array of themes that you're
here remembering that life isn't about your happiness but your
growth and expansion. So it's like a new level up
in a game. New things are going to happen for
you to help you grow and to evolve. Now, the
(23:15):
thing to remember with the cycles is it's not permanent
changes to your base foundational human design. It's more leaving
an imprint temporarily a snapshot. And so with these energetic
themes that come from your human design changing, you can
think about it as a new flavor. Temporarily, it may
amplify existing energies within you, and it could create a
(23:36):
hub of energy, and so really understanding that it could
be life energies. It could even temporarily change your type,
but again it's never permanent, and really understanding in human design,
we are all humans. We actually embody every single profile line,
every single type, every single energy. However that the idea
behind it is in this lifetime we are amplified certain
(23:58):
states because this is what we are meant to learn
and grow from in this lifetime. And so to kind
of cap off this first section of the video series,
there's four pivotal times where your human design chart changes.
Apart from your birthday. So, as I previously mentioned, your
late twenties, your early thirties is what we call your
Satin return. This is your spiritual equivalent of turning twenty one.
(24:19):
Saturn is all about discipline and responsibility. This is where
the biggest shock to your system happens. There's a lot
of shakeups because it's about getting you into alignment with
your purpose. This is your big pivotal point. You know,
Adele had an whole album about it, you know, saturin returns.
There's breakups, there's get togethers, there's marriage, there's a divorce,
changing careers, changing where you live. It's just about this
(24:40):
big coming of age type of phase in your life.
Followed by that in your late thirties and early forties
is your uranus opposition. This typically happens around forty to
forty two, and it's spiritually joked as a midlife crisis.
It's another awakening. Uranus is often the unexpected, and again
this is like that checking point sat in return happen.
(25:01):
How is your life going in terms of your values,
in terms of your purpose and what you want to achieve?
Now that you're halfway through, how complete do you feel?
Is there more to go? Is another check in point.
In your late forties and early fifties, we have what
is called the chiron return, typically around the ages of
forty six to fifty two. This is about the wounded healer.
(25:22):
The greatest healing and wisdom takes place around this transit
because it's making peace with your past and your pain.
This is that very much the mantra of once you've
healed from your wounds, it can turn into wisdom. Once
you've healed from your pain. It can turn into your
purpose and really propel you. The final pivotal stage is
late fifties and early sixties you go through a second
(25:43):
satin return. This is around fifty four to sixty so
if you recall discipline and responsibility, so it's about a
check in point, honoring where you've been so far and
starting to reflect and plan for the next stages of
life and kind of taking on this role of mentorship
and helping other people just through the people you chat to,
or it could be in your career, and that's something
(26:04):
to be mindful as well. The question is how do
you make the best decisions based on your human design. Well,
the answer is your strategy, which is to remind you
of how you communicate and interact with the world as
well as your authority. That will equal your alignment. And
(26:27):
so if you're a generator or a manifesting generator, your
strategy is to respond to the world. What does that mean.
The word response signals that it is in response to something,
an external prompt, some sort of sign stimulus outside of you.
This is something that is not in your control and
you cannot force You have to let it come naturally. However,
(26:48):
in your power is that you are creating the environment
to respond to. So what does that mean, Well, your
energy it is open and enveloping, so you don't have
to worry. You're always going to be pulling and attracting
things into your world. What you need to focus on
is are you fully present in order to observe the
things to respond to in life? Are you here or
(27:08):
is your mind somewhere else? Is your mind caught up
in here? You could easily be missing signs of things
to respond to and really understanding that there could be
many things in response to. It could be a sound,
it could be a visual. In saying that your energetic
type is to be alive and full of life force energy,
So think about it as a game. The more you're
engaging with life and you're participating, the more you're going
(27:31):
to have things to respond to. So that's why it's
important not to get stuck and mope in staying at
home and frustrated, but taking some sort of action, going
about living your life as your best self and trusting
that there's something going to be You know, the universe
is going to give you something to respond to. Now
as a manifesting generator, you've got responding plus informing, and
(27:51):
so you'll be combining the generator tips that I just
shared and what I'm about to share with you as
a manifesto. The informing part. Now, if you're a manifest
your strategy, the first part is to initiate. This is
about taking action and doing something. You are the only
type in human design where you do not have to
wait to respond to something. With the universe, there's nothing
(28:12):
outside of you. This is all internal. So it's about
you taking action. What can you do in your control? Now,
the informing part is because as a manifestor and a
manifesting generator, you can move quite quickly. You're here to
have impact and that can put people on edge. They
might perceive yourself absorbed because you're really passionate about what
you do. So this is to get people on page
(28:34):
with you. People are less wary, and so this is
about really understanding and assessing does your decision impact any
other person or people, because if it does, you will
have to consider how will you share or give them
the heads up. If you are a projector, your strategy
is to wait for the invitation. Now, I think in
a lot of verdacular and ways people think that this
is very disempowering because they have to wait, and yes,
(28:56):
it indicates being patients, but I want you to see
it as a screening strategy that only the best of
the best will come to you and then you get
to be discerning instead of every single thing like junk
mail coming at you. Right, and so to be in
your power as a projector is to consider when you
are in that stage, what type of invitations do you want?
What do you require in order to make your desires
(29:17):
and goals come true? And how would these invitations best
come to you?
Speaker 1 (29:20):
In?
Speaker 2 (29:21):
What form would you like it to be, would it
be in terms of an online type of communication, in person,
what would it require of you? And so, really understanding
at the heart of an invitation is being recognized. The
only way to do that is to be in the spotlight.
So again taking your power into your stride and being like,
how can I be more visible? How can I put
(29:41):
myself more out there? As a reflector, your strategy is
to wait twenty eight days based on the lunar calendar.
And so my recommendation is, well, in modern days that's
not always possible. But the clear thing is you need
to make time for yourself to make that decision. It
will take time and it will take space. So I
recommend tracking daily how you feel and taking note of
(30:01):
your environment and the people around you because that can
impact your decision making process. And part of that is
being really grounded, being energetically clean and clear. You know,
being around a lot of people can impact your influence.
And again being in your body, because that's when you
can really feel is this yours? Is this somebody else's
as well? Once you've got the strategy, we go to
(30:22):
the authority. And fifty percent of the world are emotional
authorities linked to the solar plexus. So in human design,
our emotions are like waves. We've got high highs, then
we've got low lows, and we've got those ebbs and flows.
To be an emotional authority means you want neutrality. I
call it the Goldilock spot. Not too happy and not
too sad, just neutral and just right. This means that
(30:43):
you are not here to make spontaneous decisions. The best
thing that you can do is sleep on it. Especially
if it is a don't know then you haven't made
the decision yet. It could take days, it could take months,
and it could take years. The individual wave for each
emotional person is very different, so being in two with
your emotions is important as well. How you feel. If
you have a sacral authority, of course, then you must
(31:05):
be a generator and that stems from our sacral which
is underneath our belly button. It's all about life force
and it's an energetic feeling, a gut instinct, feeling like
a pulled towards something. You are really drawn. You just
cannot explain it. It might even feel like making grunting
noises like m hm or uh uh. So again this
is spontaneous. This is in the moment, so you're here
(31:27):
to make decisions in the moment as well as the
spleening authority. Also in the moment, this is linked to
the spleen, which is all about health, survival, intuition. So
this is about your instincts because the spleen is like
this is how humans have you know, survived and developed
for so long as a species because of our inner knowings.
And very often this happens when it's quiet, and it
(31:49):
can be very subtle, a whisper an knowing. So that
is something to trust in the moment as well. The
rest of the four authorities are quite rare, and they
will involve talk with people, not necessarily getting advice from
these people or problem solving, but more using people as
sounding boards so they can figure out their own decision
making process in alignment. So if you have an ego authority,
(32:12):
this is linked to your heart. The heart in human
design represents motivation, will power, self esteem, and so when
you're trying to make the best decision, it requires healthy selfishness.
You have to disregard what you think other people want
you to say or what you should do, but really
be in your highest ego of what do you truly want,
and you will find that your decisions will almost automatically.
(32:35):
You'll be naturally determined, you'll be naturally motivated to work
towards it. It won't feel so hard. And really checking
in with your heart what does my heart want? And
you can see I keep touching my heart because that's
a good place to check in where you're trying to
connect to your heart. If you've got a self projected authority,
this is linked to the g center in human design,
which is our identity, and this is very much about
(32:58):
your inner voice, and so talk out loud can help
you hear your voice and really as well taking into
account your identity who do you want to be, as
well as your values. If you have an environment authority,
this is sometimes also called a mental authority, which can
be misleading because it is linked to a defined mind
as well as an ajna and authroat. However, your mind
(33:19):
is not making the decision. It is about processing your
thoughts and really using your mind as a tool. So
being conscious of the environment that you're doing it in
can impact it as well as the types of conversations
you can have can unlock answers for you as well. Finally,
if you're a lunar authority, you're a reflector and there
is no definition here or necessarily a traditional authority. So
(33:41):
I think it's about understanding alignment for you feels like
surprise and so therefore it's always an understanding things are
ever changing within yourself and the world around you. So
I think to consider your authority is to ask yourself
what feels fresh, what feels good, and really taking again
into account your environment. So when we talk about environment,
(34:01):
it always is the physical environment as well as like
the people around it, and yeah, the impacts of people.
You're in a circle who can you trust as well? Now,
regardless of your strategy and authority, I have four tips
for everybody. The first thing is human design always says
that the decision won't be from your mind but in
your body. So again, notice when all of your energy
you can feel it and you hear versus somewhere in
(34:23):
your body. And understand that the mind is always saying
you should, you must, you need to, you ought to.
That's not truly you, because if it's truly you, it
doesn't talk in that type of way. Something to consider there.
Second of all, is your decision made completely alone or
around or with other people? That will impact your decision
making as well as your environment. Are you under pressure
(34:45):
and stress or are you not? And how does your
nervous system feel? Is it calm, is it regulated? Is
it activated? And lastly, take note of what can be
logically explained and not because if you can logically explain it,
it's probably not coming from your body or your intuition.
And so that's a big guidance tip that I have
that it's kind of like the irrational, the illogical, but
(35:06):
just this like sensation of knowing within you that's often
your intuition trying to help you out there. Your internal
GPS system. Definition in human design can also play a
part because it's your wiring, and so think about each
different definition as a voice. So if you've got a
single definition, it is linked to your energy centers. There's
a continuous flow between them, so you're able to process
(35:28):
information more quickly and you're more likely to be someone
that needs a loon time to make the decision as
well as being independent. Split definition can feel like you're
missing energy, and that's why you may attract opposites in
human design. That's why we feel like you need a
partner in human design. But it's about having these two
voices and needing to get on the same page within yourself.
(35:48):
The triple definition means that you can process a lot
of complex information, but that's going to take time. The
triple split also has sometimes a feeling of scattered energy,
so being around other people can really ground you, and
that's something to take note of. The quadruple definition, well
that's rare, and it's almost like there's four competing multiple
voices within you internally. So taking the time and space
(36:11):
alone is important, and of all the definitions requires them
most time. So kind of see how that affects the
speed of the decision making process. So even though you
may be a sacred authority or a spleening that's in
the moment, if you've got a triple or a quad,
that will kind of slow down your decision making process
as well. So something to factor in. And if you've
got no definition as a reflector, you're going to need
(36:33):
more time. You have an open energy. However, remember that
teflon resistant quality. So it's about sampling other energies, feeling like, hey,
when I around this person, how do they impact my
decision making process considering that as well. So another question
is if you go against your human design, can you
feel out of alignment? The answer is yes, you'll feel
(36:55):
it inside of your bodies, particularly how you feel. And
I love that human design gives you a guidance reference
point because alignment feels so different for everybody, and so
as a generator and a manifesting generator, when you are
in alignment, you are going to feel satisfaction. I think
there's an energy around that. That's why I say it
feels buzzy, and it is also say shading, it's feeling
(37:17):
like you know you're craving a meal and you get
what you want. It's like hmmm. So that's ultimately this
sensation of fulfillment as well. Now the misconception is it's
high vibe all the time. That's not the case. For example,
I can do a workout and it feels really tough,
maybe not high vibe, but ultimately I feel satisfied because
I put in the hard work and I was dedicated
(37:37):
and I was committed. When you're out of alignment generators
and many gens, you're going to feel frustrated. You're going
to feel like it's blocked. You just feel like stuck, impatient,
maybe repetitive because you're bored. So that is something that Okay,
what you're doing is incorrect for you, or the way
you're going about it is incorrect. And so I like
to talk about alignment in human design in three stages.
(37:59):
We've got the conditioned self, the authentic self, and the
aligned self, which is the ultimate expression. The conditioned type
of way for a generator and a managen is a
stale existence. You're alive, you're living, but it's not you're
alive and you're living and you're experiencing it right, you're
existing almost then as you become more authentic, there's this
(38:19):
joy to your being and you're building upon things. But
the ultimate alignment for you is you become a magnetic luminary.
You are here to be life force. So when you're aligned,
people can feel your energy and I wonder if you
can feel my energy too, how much I love human design.
I don't need to tell you, I need to show you.
You can just feel it in that energy, so it's
almost like you've got an influential force around you. It's
(38:41):
very much kind of like that ick girl energy. The
equation for this and recapping it all is it's about
being conscious of your energy. Yes, you have a lot,
it doesn't mean that you're always you know you could.
It's Willy Milly. It's still really beautiful and precious, especially
when you're doing something that you love. And in order
to super boost this, it's about setting back boundaries, not
saying yes to everything, not taking it on just because
(39:03):
you have the energy, do you truly want to do it?
And that will lead to satisfaction for you as a
projector alignment feels like success and this is very much
your own definition, not what your family thinks, your friends,
your partner society. How do you define success? Often for
a projector, this will involve appreciation. You know, projectors love
(39:24):
to help and they love to be appreciated for it,
and that's okay. It's a reciprocal nature. I think being
a projector's success is embracing your uniqueness and your strengths
and very much feeling empowered as well and powerful, because
I think sometimes the vernacular and language around human design
makes it feel like, you know, you have to be
you're slower or you don't have as much energy, But
(39:46):
that's very much not the case. There's a reason for it.
There's always a reason. It's not just to I guess
slow you down on purpose. When you're out of alignment,
you're going to feel bitter. This often stems from comparison
about other people, what they're doing, or they're t timelines,
perhaps feeling ignored, people not necessarily seeing you and validating you,
And then you can result in behaviors where you're people
(40:08):
pleasing and that doesn't come from a place of authenticity.
But you start to realize, hey, I'm out of alignment
because I'm not doing things for me. I'm doing it
because I want to talk to this person, or appeal
to this person, and then I don't feel like I'm
truly being myself. And so the equation here is when
you are the conditioned projector, you almost feel invisible. You
feel kind of helpless and powerless. And it's this kind
(40:31):
of like know it all attitude. Because the thing is projectors,
you do know a lot. It doesn't mean that everybody's
ready to hear about what you have to say. They
may not be understanding on or not the right timing
or the place. So again that permission please is very important,
really checking in does it feel right to share this
in this moment, in this way with this person? Have
(40:51):
I got the signals that they're interested and open to it.
When you are more authentic as a projector in terms
of your alignment, you will be the patient sage, no
longer feeling restricted but understanding. Patience is a virtue and
it is being a wise person. However, ultimate alignment is
being an enlightened guide, going through all of your experiences,
(41:11):
having this masterreet and not just knowing these things, but
being able to guide people and show them the way
and really understanding like people value you and you are
seen and you are heard in your own right. The
equation here is valuing your energy, knowing that it's not
about the quantity of energy, but the quality of your energy.
Having support and patience taking away comparison will lead to success,
(41:34):
which is your energetic signature of alignment as a projector
as a manifesto. Alignment for you feels like peace and
this is the ultimate freedom right. You are fully able
to make your own decisions. You are autonomous. You don't
feel like you're being controlled, and you feel really calm
as well. When you are out of alignment manifesto, you're
going to feel angry and this will feel like irritation.
(41:57):
This will feel like you're being interrupted, and this will
create resistance instead of flow for you. Mostly for manifestors
in the peace state, it's like this non verbal flow
that you can feel. And so the equation here is
when you are conditioned, you tend to play it safe.
You're not really taking any risks, kind of living life
by the rules, and you're a dreamer. You know you're
(42:19):
dreaming of things, but you're not necessarily taking action. Then
we take it up a notch to authenticity. It's about
being bold, being big and not shrinking yourself down and
having a big vision too, and that's just where there's
energy starting to build. The ultimate alignment is a powerful
catalyst realizing that you are a creative of energy. You
are a firestarter. You start something and you influence the
(42:41):
people around you. That's really powerful, and you're a catalyst.
There's movement, there's momentum there. And your equation is when
you are free to express, when you are free to create,
and you aren't following somebody else's footsteps but carving your
own path. You're not dimming yourself or dulling yourself or
you know that tall poppy syndrome of not wanting to
stand out. That will lead to alignment for you, which
(43:03):
is feeling peace as a reflector. Alignment feels like surprise.
It's like this magical state of being where you're fully
present and it's like ooh, it's so juicy. All of
the possibilities, like anything could happen, the unexpected can happen.
On the flip side, when you are out of alignment,
you will feel disappointed, and this is often by having
expectations that aren't met, perhaps feeling overlooked, or like forcing
(43:27):
yourself to fit in. Remember you are a one percent Okay,
you are a rare unicorn. You are not meant to
be like anybody else. And so when you are conditioned,
you're almost holding back and you're very much an observer
instead of participating and being more a part of life
and showing up your authentic self is you are wise,
and you're a mirror. You are reflecting things back. They
(43:49):
say you are the barometer. However, the ultimate alignment for
you is this illumination. You realize all these powerful insights
that you only have the way that you see it,
feeling into all of your depths and all the energies
around you. And you're a shaman. You don't just know things,
but you're going to actually help and show people the way.
And again you are very respected and beloved and as
part of a community as well. And the equation is
(44:12):
when you're in your own rhythm and flow, you have
this sense of curiosity adventure, you're not on the sidelines
but taking a big part of life. That's when you
feel surprised and that's where anything can happen, and that's
where you feel alignment. And so how can we learn
to work with our human design against of instead it. Well,
the thing is remember human design isn't meant to feel restrictive.
(44:34):
It was actually a tool. It's an experiment. So it's
about having this playful attitude and having this open mind,
trying it out for yourself and then seeing what resonates
and if it doesn't, of course you can discus that.
And I think part of that is working with it,
is keeping a record of your experimentation. We come with
so much conditioning and so that's why we may not
(44:55):
think something is right for us or it feels like
it works against us. So if your experiment and you're
keeping a record of it, you can go back, you
can refine, and you can renew, and really trying to
adopt the mindset that, hey, this is a system of empowerment.
It's not meant to make me feel limited or powerless.
So if I was to take this part of my
chart and see it as a crazy, beautiful empowering thing,
(45:18):
what does that feel like? And that can really shift
the perspective for you. As well as when you get
really charged about something, if you're really resistance against something
or it causes you to feel a lot, I would say,
get curious and question things and dig deeper beneath the surface, right,
maybe do some shadow work around it and be like, hey,
well if my human design says this, why am I
(45:39):
so against this? Is it because I was brought up
thinking it should be this way? Have I been doing
something for like ten years? So change feels different. So
I think it's about, you know, playfulness, experimentation, open mind,
and perspective. Another question is in terms of alignment, how
can you set goals based on your human design? Well,
I'm glad you asked, because I have a lot to
(46:00):
share with you. So as a generator, you're here to
be focused. So when you're setting goals, I would say
it's important to time block with no distractions and come
into a flow state. Already your energy is high and
you're excited to set the goals because you're all about
compounding and momentum. So really creating goals that will build
upon each other is going to help you. So putting
(46:21):
out the steps, figuring that out, making it chunkable and sizable.
And again, you're an energetic being, see where you're naturally
your energy wants to go and commits. It's not about obligations,
musts or should but this desire like ooh, this is
oh I really want to work on this. This feels
really exciting, and as a manifesting generator, goals aren't meant
to be rigid, but a flexible frame to help you
(46:44):
direct your energy because it is so multi passionate. So
really understanding when it comes to goals, take away the
pressure to finish everything. You're going to start a lot
of things. Then you may drop it, you may come
back to it, you could give it to somebody else,
and so even when your goal setting, you might sit down,
get bored and then come back. So it's this process
of refining and really allowing for pivots, right, allowing for
(47:07):
a change in direction. It's kind of like understanding that
you're building upon experience, you're not building upon scratch. If
you are a projector, goals are not about pursuing societal
productivity or doing a lot of things. As we know,
your energy is here to be burset. It's about quality
and so kind of pulling everything we've learnt together. It's
about really considering your definition of success that is personal
(47:31):
to you as well as what gives you your passions
in life. Projectors are very much here to master a passion.
They often can speak to a lot of passions of
they have and so what is that for you? And
it's about understanding how can you work smarter not harder.
So again it's about the efficiency of your energy, not
necessarily the productivity. If you are a manifestor, hey, your
(47:53):
goals are going to be so big and wild compared
to societal restrictions. So this is like go big, go big,
or go home very much this quote shoot for the moon.
And if you mis end up amongst the stars, remember
that you are an energy creator. You're here to start things.
So in terms of your goals, having an actionable point
with all of them, what can you actually kick start?
(48:15):
And as well as understanding manifestos, know the here to
have impact. So have meaningful goals, really connect to the
why instead of just going on autopilot. Oh yeah, I
want money, but why do you want money? If you
are a reflector, it's about transcending a time obsessed world
and going at your own pace and understanding. Because you
are fluid, it's this changing nature you in twenty eight days,
(48:37):
what about what can you do in this moment? What's
one thing that you can do to move towards your goal?
And because you are dynamic, and shifting, consider constance in
your life, reflector what doesn't change, like your values. For example,
taking into account the twenty eight day strategy, I would
be really focusing on daily and monthly goals as opposed
to quarterly and yearly goals, and really using the cycle
(49:00):
of understanding. The new moon is to set intentions and
the full moon is to let go and really serve
as a check in as well. I'm also cheekly going
to talk about a more advanced area of human design
as an exclusive for RIS member apps, because we don't
typically talk about this until you've done human design for
a while. And this is a transformations and it represents
(49:21):
the arrows in human design. When it comes to goal setting,
what is important is the top left hand corner arrow
and the bottom right hand corner. And so in the
top left hand corner, this is all about your structure
of your goals. If your arrow points to the left,
think about structure, systems, routines, and habits. The less thinking
you can do and the more automation that you have,
(49:42):
it's going to free up your energy and capacity. You're
going to feel more in control and more organized. And
so your best friend is calendars, planning tools and applications.
If your arrow points to the right, it's all about
fluidity and adaptability, feeling free, not obligated. So instead of
forcing your self to do something Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday at
six thirty pm every time, give yourself a bit of
(50:05):
a fluidity state. You know, do something for a minimum
three times a week. The day may change, and for
at least thirty minutes, and then hey, sometimes you might
do it for an hour. So this is all really
about spaciousness and free time and actually building that into
your calendar. You might want to put a half hour
block and then when it comes to the time, see
how your energy feels called to build upon your goal.
(50:26):
In the bottom right hand corner, it's all about manifestation,
the juiciest part. And so if your arrow points to
the left, it's all about being specific and being strategic.
It's all about the more details you have and zooming
in on that, the better. So I recommend a smart
structure right it's specific, it's measurable, it's achievable, it's realistic,
(50:47):
and it's time manageable. In the right, if you've got
a right facing corner arrow, this is all about being
more broad open variety, having options. It's about the feeling,
the vibe, the emotions, really feeling into that, being able
to visualize and see that clearly in your mind's eye,
having this bird's eye view perspective, understanding how does everything
fit into the bigger picture of your life. So we've
(51:09):
talked about goals, and now the question is how do
you feel in alignment with your human design if it
doesn't suit your lifestyle, for example, projectors and a slower pace.
And this is a really juicy question here as well.
So my first question to you is it conditioning or
is it authenticity? Because you have to understand that human
(51:29):
design is about unlearning, deconditioning, and unbecoming, and so of course,
like maybe as a projector, you're thinking, but the only
way is to be busy all of the time. But
if you are true and honest with yourself deep down,
you'd be like, hey, my energy doesn't actually want to
work all the time. I've been waiting for this permission
slip to hear. Hey, you do need breaks and you
do need naps. So that is something that can cause
(51:52):
resistance because it's actually your conditioning and feeling like it
doesn't suit your lifestyle. So remember it's an experiment to try.
But again taking the perspective, is it slowing to you
down or is it speeding you up? Maybe because again
you've been trying to work against your energy, which is
go go, go, hustle, hustle, hustle, when actually if you
took breaks and you slow down, you realize, hey, I'm
(52:15):
actually getting things done quicker because I have sped up. Now,
if that still doesn't resonate with you, remember that human
design is full of layers. You'll need to have maybe
a deeper or better understanding of your full chart and
everything that encapsulates. That's probably more of a reading, but
at first glance, maybe look at other layers. Could be
your personality, It could be like your energy centers and
(52:37):
seeing how that can impact your lifestyle. So for example,
you may be a projector and that is about burst energy.
For example, if you have lots of heart energy, which
is about motivation, that's going to give you more energy
than say a typical projector that doesn't have heart energy.
So that's what I mean by looking at the different
layers and energy centers. Now, a big misconception, Miss Taylor
(53:00):
Swift is actually a projector. We all know she has
been doing a worldwide Ears tour and I would say
she is a powerhouse of energy when she's on the stage.
And I was very lucky enough to see her and
so take inspiration from Taylor. She takes a break from touring.
She's currently on holiday in the Bahamas with her boyfriend
Travis Kelcey. So again she takes breaks in between places.
(53:22):
She's very smart with her energy. She'll be doing a
region at a time. She won't go from like Australia
to Europe and then back to the US. Right, she's
doing all of her shows in Australia at one time.
And she's not releasing an album every year, but when
she releases it, she's done a full on job. Right.
She's got all these new songs, she's got all the
videos she's doing like Easter Eggs. She's thought about all
(53:43):
these different things. But again, just because her energy has
been preserved, she's rested, and so she has time as
a reflector. And I kind of thought I'd take it
upon myself in this section to talk about myths and
misconceptions of human design. Is she is a reflector? Lauren Bostick,
the starter of skinny confidential. Again, people always say, hey,
reflectors don't have an identity, they don't know who they
(54:04):
are and all of this stuff, but actually, you know what,
you do have an identity. She is the skinny confidential
and she actually got it from one of the superpowers
of being a reflector, which is observing seeing these trends,
being an influencer in herself. She was trying all these
new things against the prize element, the alignment of human design.
Her friends were interested. She started a Facebook group and
(54:26):
she now has a business, and she is all centered
around the community, getting the skinny, getting the juice on everything,
and her identity evolves with her. You know, she very
much was about wellness. Then she became a mom. She
does a podcast with her husband as well, and so
again reflectors are not limited like she has done so much.
But again she has all these open centers, so it's
(54:47):
not very much a limitation, but learning to work with
your energy. We can all agree all these women are amazing,
and I just want to remind everybody there is no
superior type of human design. We need every single type.
And so again, as a generator, Oprah very much about
having focuses. She was like as a news reporter. Then
her focus shifted to being a talk show host. Then
(55:09):
she talked about spirituality and she has like her recommendations,
and then at times she'll also have her weight loss
and fitness regimes. So again very much focused energy. Now
as a generator, she isn't go, go go all the time. Yes,
she has a lot of energy, but taking into account layers,
she's got a two profile line which is a hermit,
so she does require alone time, she does need resting
(55:31):
as well. Of course, Georgie, she is a many gen
and she shows us that hey, it's okay to start
something and then pivot. As a manifesting generator, she was
initially a lawyer, then she moved into the world of
health and fitness, and now she's more focused on spirituality
as well as investing in other businesses. So again the
beauty of pivoting, not staying the same, which again which
(55:53):
can be something that many gens are fearful because they're
always shifting and changing, but it's a beautiful thing. As
a manif adele yes, so manifestos again they have a
closed repelling aura. They can be angry, but again this
isn't like the be all and end all. If you
think about Adele as a manifestor, she also works inburse
like projectors. You know, she did her Las Vegas show.
(56:15):
In terms of being a manifestor, I would say she
really resonates with a lot of people. But what it is,
it's about her boldness. She doesn't care what people think,
and she's not afraid to shock people. Especially when she
kind of took hiatus and she came back and she
had a new image, she had lost a significant amount
of weight. There was some criticism, lots of people having
an opinion, but ultimately Adele said, I don't care because
(56:37):
I feel really good in my body. She's not afraid
to be authentic and sharp and witty. So again that
works for her. And so again very much understanding that
embracing your human design as opposed to seeing it limiting you,
that will take you so far in terms of your
lifestyle and not feeling held back. And so ultimately, how
do you live and honor your human design? Well, you
(56:58):
are already living it. You are conscious of it or not,
and that is a beautiful thing. You are already perfect
in that sense because you are living your human design.
And if you aren't in that highest expression. That's the
point that you can grow and understand. Hey, this is
the high expression. My human design says, how do I
shift to that state? You can also use your human
design as continually comparing, like, hey, i used to identify
(57:21):
with the shadow aspect, but now I'm in this enlightened aspect.
Human design isn't awareness tool. So this is a roadmap,
a manual, and a guide. Now imagine this was a
car and I just gave you a manual to the car.
That's not enough. You actually have to ride and drive
the car in order to learn. And so very much
in human design, it's action over awareness. Always. If you
(57:43):
take action, you get information, and then you can tweak
and refine things off the back of that human design
I said seven years there's a lot of information. I'm
just trying to condense as much as I can as
an introduction, and so when it gets overwhelming, start with
one layer. Just focus on your strategy, or your authority,
or your profile or even one energy center. Master that
(58:05):
and then build on top of that. Human design is
very much a journey. I have coached people for a
year or two and more on it. I'm going through
my own experiment too, and so there's always things to
be revealed. It's ever changing. So it's about being kind
and patient to yourself on this journey. Very much as
you'll know, it is about the unlearning overlearning. There's a
(58:26):
lot of tools and awareness and knowledge, but human design
is about deconditioning, unlearning and unbecoming. It's about getting stripping
back to your true authentic self, getting rid of oh
I had I thought I had to be this way.
Human design is that permission slip. So when you're in doubt,
if you don't know something, it's about what do I
have to unlearn? What do you have to take away
from my true human design in order to really live
(58:49):
and embody it and really understanding that human design. It
gives you those tools. It's got your signposts, such as
your energetic signature, which is your alignment. So for example,
if you're a reflector, are you feeling surprised or disappointed,
that's something to check into. And knowing that human design
isn't meant to be a one off. If it doesn't
resonate with you, that may be the case. If it
(59:10):
does resonate with you, sometimes have some breaks and come
back to it. It's a continual journey and it's so
much fun. And I think as long as you feel
empowered you enjoy it, then that's how you get the
most out of it and really seeing it as a
light and fun tool. And so I have really absolutely
loved talking to you about alignment and human design. If
