This could well be the key to manifestation. It's the part that lots of people miss, it's the piece that sometimes feels the hardest, but it's the MOST IMPORTANT bit. At the heart of manifestation is trust and action, this episode is going to demonstrate how 'action' will bring your goals closer.

It's time to shed the 'victim mentality', it's time to get rid of 'impatience' and it's time to act 'as if'. Trust me, it will push you forward in ways that bridge the space between making the goals and making them actually happen. So step up and accept your Oscar Award!

(00:25):
This is Rise and Conquer, the podcast where we strive
to become the highest version of ourselves through curious conversations,
healthy mindsets, laughter, connection, and a deep desire to evolve.
I'm your host, Georgie Stevenson. Join me as we explore parenthood, business, manifestation,

(00:51):
and so much more. It's positive, it's practical, and it's
about putting you in the driver's seat of your own life.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Are you ready? Hello, my loves, and welcome back to
the Rise and Conquer Potty. I'm here with another manifestation episode.
I wanted to dive into a manifesting concept that I
have really been doing in twenty twenty five. It is

(01:20):
something that I'm sure you've heard of, but I feel
like a lot of people struggle to implement it and
to embody it. If you haven't listened to the first
simple manifestation terms and cycle, I would go back to
the other episode, because this episode is going to make

(01:40):
more sense and I'm going to draw off certain elements.
There's five elements of manifestation and very simple terms, and
the first is like getting clear on what you want.
The second is having like the belief system to match
the identity of who the person is who has that reality.

(02:03):
Number three is being on the vibration and the frequency
of the person, the thought, the feeling of what you want.
Number four is inspired action, and number five is surrendering,
letting go, let the universe, you know, take the wheel vibes.

(02:24):
So we're getting into element number three, which is the
frequency the vibration. And as I explained in the last episode,
it's really important that you are on the vibration of
the thing, of the reality that you are attracting, because

(02:44):
if you're quite low vibe, you know, maybe your victim mentality.
You think life happens to you, You're not lucky. Things
go wrong, other people have it better, things are always
happening to you. We all know what negative low vibe people.
We've all been them, we've all experienced it. So if
you're on that frequency and the thing the reality you

(03:07):
want is obviously on this higher vibe. As you move
through life, you're never going to actually attract that thing
because you know you're on different lines, you know, parallel lines.
So to get up to the reality that you want,
you need to be able to shift your vibration. And

(03:28):
the trick here is you don't actually have to shift
it all the time. You don't have to be high
vibe all the time. That's just not a reality. Like
no one is think about like the law of polarity.
We cannot experience true really high happiness, like deep happiness,
unless we have experienced like deep sadness. We almost we

(03:51):
need to experience the opposite to really value and understand
the opposite, you know, positive feeling. And that's why you'll
often find like the wisest people, the kindest people, have
gone through probably like the most shit ever. And that
is really how it works. It's like this beautiful polarity.

(04:14):
So in life you will constantly kind of go up
and down and that is normal and that's okay. And
that's why a lot of people talk about before a
manifestation is actually coming to fruition, you will actually get
a lot of challenges. You will actually get you know,
a lot of low vibe situations, and that usually means

(04:37):
it's like it's coming soon, because without that low, low feeling,
we don't understand when it does come in and it
feels so good, how good it feels. And I know
that's like it's hard to wrap your head around it,
but I'm sure you understand. So don't be worried if
you're not like on the vibe all the time. One is,

(05:00):
let's be honest, but that's why. It's because we need polarity.
But it is important to get on the vibe when
you can, and so ways you can do this. And
something that I have been embodying lately is really acting
as if and really putting myself in the shoes of

(05:22):
the person who has that dream reality. And why say
acting is because at the start, you jumping into the thoughts,
the beliefs, the vibe of someone who has that reality
isn't going to feel comfortable. It's probably not even going
to feel like right, if that makes sense. We're usually

(05:45):
so comfortable with being uncomfortable or like negative or low
vibe when we even step into a different vibration, a
different frequency, it feels like a weird suit we've just
tried on. And we're like, oh, I don't know if
I like it here, And so I find there's this
lagging period where I have to act, and a lot

(06:09):
of people they don't get this. They think, you know,
if I'm getting my manifestation, it should just like feel
amazing all the time and feel really high vibe and
I would just like love it and be obsessed with it.
But that's not true that there truly is this moment
where you need to know the traits of the person
who has that reality, know their belief system, know how

(06:32):
they would act and be and how they would be
treated and how they would treat other people, and you
need to act as if. It's almost like that classic
like fake it till you make it vibes, And it's
so true because how do you think people quote unquote
jump timelines or like you know people who literally will

(06:55):
do a one eighty in their life and completely change
their life, Like how do you think those people are
doing that? Like it doesn't just happen, it's not like
an external things happens. They make a choice, and I
guarantee you at the start they are acting, but then

(07:15):
it becomes so comfortable and so like no, no, this
identity is me, it becomes their reality. That's why the
concept of like being Delulu in manifestation is quite important,
because there is a lag period where you have to

(07:36):
be like, you know, holy shit, I'm amazing. I've just
written this incredible book and people are going crazy, They're obsessed.
They're saying, I'm the best you know, self help author ever,
and you know, blah blah blah. This is obviously one
of my goals of writing a book that, like, to me,
didn't feel natural or right to say, but I need

(07:59):
to act as if in order for that to come
into fruition. And a great example of this is when
I left my corporate law job. And think about it
this way. You know, for six years, as I did
my law degree and worked in law, I thought I
was going to be a lawyer, like that was really
my identity that I was stepping into. And then I

(08:23):
finished my degree, didn't keep working in law, left law,
and then I talk about how there was this twelve
month period of me figuring my shit out, and then
I started Naked Harvest, started Rise and Conquer, and it
really was this flag period where I was trying on

(08:43):
a whole heap of identities and being like what do
I want to do And obviously such a privilege for
me to kind of almost like have this gap year,
but you can do this even if you're still working.
But it's like I was trying on identities, and I
was like, do I want to have business? You know?
How do I want to feel? What do I want
to do every day? And even though I probably wasn't

(09:06):
exactly clear in all the details, I did have this
underlying like I want to be known as a successful
business owner. I want to work really hard with a
team who has a shared vision. I want to have
a company that is fun, that helps people, that changes

(09:27):
people's lives. But I have so much fun doing it.
I have so much mission, I have so much power.
It feels incredible to wake up every single day. I
have time for a morning routine. I have time for
my family if I have children, Like I was very
clear on like the feeling, the vibe, the identity of

(09:48):
exactly who I am now, which is so interesting because
I've obviously been this character for such a long time
that I'm not acting anymore. I just am her. But
there was a period where I had to act. I
had to almost pretend I was very confident as a
business woman even though I wasn't. I had to, you know,

(10:09):
show up in a certain way. I had to wear
certain clothes to like get in the vibe. But obviously
it worked because look at me now. I want to
give you kind of some tips. Obviously everyone is into
chat GPT at the moment, and it is such a

(10:32):
great place that you could literally be like, hey, I
want to have this reality where I do this and
blah blah blah, can you spit me out? You know,
a script, a movie, a vision board, all those sorts
of things, and it can do all the work for you.
So that is such a good tool. Something else that
you can do is find an archetype that you want

(10:56):
to embody. So this might be so, this might be
like a celebrity, it might be like someone you know.
It might be someone you know on Instagram. And it
doesn't really matter if you know everything about them or not,
because you get to feel in the details. You actually

(11:17):
just get to like pretend what they would think, what
they would do, how would they show up. It doesn't
actually matter if that's how they would do it. It's about
your brain being like, well, this is what I should do.
So having like that archetype, having like that person that
you're basing. You know, this person that you're acting as
is really really important, and I would like be putting

(11:38):
that celebrity or that person like on your vision board
on your phone, like reminding you of like how am
I acting today? How am I showing up? And then
something else that you can do is you need to
create like almost like know everything about them. So this
is you know, the person who has the reality you want.

(12:01):
I personally have. I don't want to call them rules.
I guess you could call them rules. Let's call them rules.
That's kind of fun. But it's like I have rules
that I live by and values, and I have traits,
and I have like an identity. And for example, it's

(12:21):
like with this current identity I am in now, my
highest value is my family, so it is Tim and
Ivy and so every decision is really made with them
in mind first and then it like you know, goes down.
And I have rules with like being home at a
certain time. Because the business woman I want to be

(12:44):
has boundaries with work. She's not just like married to
her work, like she yeah, she has boundaries, like even
in my relationship, there's kind of like rules, and it's
funny because it's not even like Tim knows these rules,
but it's like for me, it's like I make sure
we're going on to date night every couple of weeks,
which kind of happens naturally. But again, I have acted

(13:08):
first as if and then the relationship has followed. And
so I want you to think about really getting into
the new identity. And I want to give you guys
a bit of an example because I really feel like
I'm in a transition for a new identity. And I

(13:29):
wish I had written down an example and thought about
it a tiny bit more, but look, I'll riff it
for you guys. I feel like I'm in transition. I
feel like the next evolution, that the identity I'm stepping
into is, as you guys know, me and Tim trying
to conceive second baby, that was like our journey all

(13:50):
last year. I really feel like this baby's going to
come in twenty twenty five, and so it's like this
new identity for me is really stepping into my feminine
because I have really led with my masculine for such
a long time. I feel like I'm not always in
my masculine, though I feel like I have stepped into

(14:10):
my feminine. Like again, this transition isn't like a sharp
transition for me. I feel like I have been leading
with my feminine and stepping into her. But I feel
like this next evolution, this next baby, is like very
I'm in my feminine with my family, with my business.
So like with my family, it's with Ivy. I literally

(14:31):
you took like eight weeks off work and then I
was like back into it. With this next baby, I
want to take like five to six months. I want
to take that amount of time off. But my business
is still run, do you know what I mean? Like
not have to shut everything down, obviously, do the work beforehand,
and I've already started thinking about that now, but doing

(14:53):
the work beforehand, but having systems and processes, that's like
my business can still run and I can obviously like
check in, I can check in with the team, I
can come into work if I want, But the business
doesn't need me for six months. It's like it's fine,
it's doing its own thing for six months. So the

(15:15):
person who has that reality, that's a different identity to
who I am now because at the moment I work
at least four days a week, if not sometimes five.
That's a different identity, that's a different set of rules
and values and traits and that sort of thing. So
the acting as if for that next person is going

(15:36):
to be difficult for a while because it's not going
to feel comfortable. It's not going to feel right. And
that's another thing too. For a while, when you're stepping
into that next version of yourself, you will doubt yourself.
You will be like, I don't think I'm doing this right.
This doesn't feel good. But you really have to trust
the vision. So going on with my vision, you know,

(15:57):
that's a big thing. Obviously, very family orientated, very feminine
in my business, very feminine with myself, and really not
stepping back because I kind of hate that. But it's
like being okay with whatever output and whatever I want
to create and how I want to be and how

(16:17):
I want to show up and being very okay with that,
whereas current Georgie now has quite high standards, and you
know that has helped me in so many ways. But
also I do believe you can be different, you can
be in your feminine and you will still be successful.
So that's really kind of the belief system. That's actually

(16:40):
that's it. It's the being my feminine and still considering
myself successful. That's what I'm stepping into because even saying
that I'm like, something feels off, something feels not right.
You need masculine, you need doing So that's currently something
that I'm like acting as if even when it doesn't
feel comfortable. A big thing with this is allowing yourself

(17:09):
to evolve, even if you think about if you guys
have been here from the start, Like I started off
as like a fitness influencer who did before and after
photos and I got into that, and then you know,
it was all about me doing my law degree and
wanting to be a lawyer. And I had that season,
and then it was, you know, having that gap year.
I went to like fitness events and did an ebook,

(17:33):
and then I started the podcast, and then I became
a business owner, and then I was doing my manifesting.
I think allowing yourself to evolve and to completely step
into a new identity is uncomfortable, and but it's something
that's liberating. Like maybe you're someone who's like always late,

(17:54):
and honestly, guys, this is me. Maybe you're someone who
is always late and you want to step into it
for an identity of like not always being the late
person and start saying to yourself, I'm always early, you know,
like I always have more than enough time. I'm that
person who blah blah blah. Like that's such a small example,

(18:15):
but you can change, like you can be someone who
becomes like so much earlier. And even if you think
of it this way, like think of that that fit person,
that fit person has an identity. I am a fit person.
I love working out. It feels so good to do

(18:37):
X Y and Z. It feels so good to have
X Y and Z food in my body. Like they
don't really have to think about it, but there would
have been a stage when they're going from I don't
know if the right word is like unfit fit person
to fit person. Yeah, I guess so, because you see
that all the time, like you see huge transformations, so

(18:58):
that you know person they would have had, you know,
the beliefs, the traits, the habits of it's normal to
have a pie and a coffee and a Mars bar
for breakfast, Like that's just my vibe. That's what I
like doing. That's comfortable. But now it's like they have
eggs and avocado and an omelet for breakfast. There would

(19:21):
have been a period where that was uncomfortable, where they
were like, look, I'm gonna prefer the pie, you know,
do you know what I mean? But they would have
pushed through. They would have acted as if, and then
they started seeing the evidence and then they gained the
momentum and they were able to step into the identity.
And so really, acting as if is that part where

(19:45):
you can change your whole life. You can be a
completely different person in three months time. It's just choosing
what are my traits, how am I acting? How am
I leading myself? Am I how do I treat people?
How do people treat me? What are my boundaries? And

(20:07):
then that is going to form your reality? All right,
my loves, I hope that made sense. I love showing
this fun app. Like I said, this is something I'm
embodying myself and I just want to share it with you.
But as always, guys, we are an independent podcast, so

(20:27):
the team and I would be so grateful if you
loved this episode, if it got your juices going, we
would love if you could share it with you know, family, friends,
anyone who you think might find it interesting. Who wants
to know about this stuff? And if you're feeling extra generous,
giving us a five star rating on iTunes or Spotify

(20:47):
or wherever you're listening is so so appreciated if you
have the time, but thank you so much. I appreciate you,
I love you, and I'll chat to you in our
next episode. Bye Instustan.
