Are you ready?
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Welcome back to Season seven of the Rise and Conquer Podcast.
It is your host Georgie Stephenson, and today's guests is
the extraordinary George Lizzo's a spiritual teacher, light worker, and
best selling author who's redefining the way he looks at
manifestation by blending ancient wisdom with grounded modern practices. Based
(01:21):
in Cyprus, George has built a global community of over
thirty thousand energy workers and is the creator of his
own healing modality, but his journey didn't start there. Once
buried in self doubt, people pleasing, and depression, George found
his purpose by doing the deep inner work and has
(01:42):
since dedicated his life to helping others reconnect with their
own light and soul mission. In this episode, we're diving
into his brand new book and taking a journey back
to the ancient spiritual roots of manifestation from the Greeks
to the Egyptians and why relying on law of attraction
simply isn't enough. George shares how to release energetic blocks,
(02:06):
align with your true purpose, and manifest from a place
of clarity, intention, and integrity. If you are a manifesting queen,
I think you're going to love this episode because he
really gives us some more insights and this conversation is
going to expand you in all the right ways. Let's
get into the show, George.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Welcome to the Rise and Conquered Podcasts.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Hi Georgie, how are you?
Speaker 1 (02:36):
I'm so good, Thank you, thank you so much for
making the time. I know it is late where you
are where you based again?
Speaker 3 (02:44):
I am based in Cyprus, so I'm in the past.
When it comes to like you, I'm yesterday in your
time zone.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
That is so weird to think about.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Well, thank you so much for making the time before
we get into the see stuff. I would just love
for you to introduce yourself to my community.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Who is George? What does he do? What's he about?
Speaker 3 (03:09):
So? I'm a psychic healer and spiritual teacher, and I
focus on helping light workers, people who are here to
make positive change in the world by empowering them with
energetic tools and practices that they can use to heal
traumas and limiting beliefs and find and follow their life purpose.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
That is amazing and congratulations on your brand new book,
The Ancient Manifestation Secrets.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Did you tell.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Us a little bit on just what it's about and
why you wanted to write it?
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Yes, So, Ancient Manifestation Secrets essentially teaches a brand new
way of manifesting with the energy field. The reason I
wanted to write this is because I've been a manifestation
like reader of like books and consuming content for years,
and I've ended up realizing that a lot of the
popular manifestation teachings out there are really outdated. So I
(04:06):
really wanted to come in and update it with like
more complex but not complicated teachings in the sense that
I'm challenging the idea that the love attraction is the
most powerful in the universe. I'm challenging the idea that
negative thoughts and beliefs work against manifestation. And I'm introducing
more nuanced way of working with the energy field for
(04:27):
manifestation by bringing in ancient knowledge. Because I realized Georgia
that new age is actually really really really really old age.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
Yes, and I, well, can we let's so much to
impact there. Let's firstly get into because I love in
your book, how the law of attraction you say the
law of attraction is not the most powerful law in
the universe, and you you know, I feel like on
TikTok on Instagram that is often what you see. Can
(04:55):
you tell us a little bit more about why.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
Yes, the simplest thing we have the love of gravity.
However much we try to visualize ourselves falling upwards, we're
always going to fall downwards. So no law is more
powerful than another law. All laws are equally powerful, and
they work with each other in a collaborative manner. And
manifestation is not about making the universe our bitch. It's
(05:21):
about collaborating with the universe and all the universal laws
to create change in our lives in a conscious way.
So that's the simplest way to understand it. But also
realizing that there are other factors involved in manifestation rather
than just the way we think and feel about ourselves
and about our desires. Specifically, when it comes to the
(05:43):
ancient Hermetics, which was a philosophical school that combined ancient
Greek and ancient Egyptian teachings, they talked about the various
manifestation laws of the universe. The ones I referred to
in the book are the seven manifestation laws. One of
the laws is a love of cause and effect that
teaches that for every effect and therefore manifestation, there is
a cause. But there are many causes involved. One of
(06:06):
these cars is our own vibrational set point, what we
manifest by our thoughts and emotions. But what about carmic contracts,
what about our soul purpose? What about relationships with other people?
What about collective manifestation? There are other factors involved.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Yeah, it's it's not it's not just that simple, And
I think it's interesting when you do have you know,
people will poke holes and be like, oh, so if
I think of manifesting a Porsche, a Porsche is going
to appear, and you know, they use the law of
attraction to almost make fun of manifestation. So I think
(06:46):
you kind of bringing that in and helping people understand
how complex and how you know deep and how many
other things that are coming into play.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Is so important.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
And I feel like when I personally got into like those, yeah,
those kind of deeper laws and the deeper understanding, it
was so much better because I wasn't almost like so
reliant on the law of attraction. I also love what
you just said, sorry about the seven laws of the
(07:19):
universe and how they work together. Which law do you
think people like overlook the most when it comes to manifestation?
Speaker 3 (07:28):
Okay, I would say it's the lot of correspondence. Now,
hear me out, the love of correspondence. Teach us that
us above, so below, us below so above. It's this
idea that aside from this physical three D world that
we live in, there are other dimensions. We have this
spiritual plane of existence where we have different types of beings.
(07:51):
We have the mental plane of existence, which is where
we live and we have the I think it's the
physical level of existence that includes all the elementals and
the material world, etc. Now, what the law of correspondence
teaches is that all laws work equally in all three
levels of existence, and whatever law functions in one level
(08:11):
of existence exists in ours as well. The mind blowing
thing about that is that we can receive help and
guidance from beings from the different planes of existence. This
is how spirit communication happens. This is how when we
say the universe has your back, or you have angels
protecting you, that means that there is correspondence between the
(08:34):
planes of existence and actually angelic beings or our spirit
guides or the universe can come in and support us,
and we can also receive guidance from different planes of
existence that can help us follow our purpose. One of
my favorite type of spirit guides to communicate with for
manifestation our elementals. Now, when it comes to like spirit guides,
(08:58):
it can it can see a little bit wore, But
I'm going to make it really practical for people. When
you think about elementals, it's essentially think about the Earth.
My first degree was in geography, so I learned firsthand
how the Earth finds balance and the planet has been
here for four point five billion years. Meanwhile, we've been
(09:20):
here for a few hundred thousand years, a blink of
the eyes in the Earth's timeline. So when you think
about the Earth's processes of finding balance and manifesting and
creating abundance for so long, there is spiritual there is consciousness,
and there is animism in nature. We can partner with that.
The ancients call them nymphs for example, or the elementals.
(09:42):
We can partner with that consciousness to receive guidance and
tools and practices that can help us manifest as well.
So that's what I mean when it comes to using
the love correspondence to receive help and support from other
spiritual beings.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
And so could you give us an example of of
how you have done that in the past or how
you do that now?
Speaker 3 (10:05):
Yes, So this is a process that I teach in
the book. So in the book, I teach a five
step process of manifesting with the energy field. And when
it comes to the energetic component, I'm all about planting
the energy of my desires in my energy field. All
desires and ideas that we have have consciousness. They are
(10:25):
not just ideas they have a being, and I like
to imagine that this is living orb that just hovers
around our energy field, and we can invite that orb
to plut itself in a chakraft for example, or in
a part of our body or our or field. And
then when we do so, we can create energetic courts
(10:46):
connecting us and this orb with different beings, with different people,
with different organizations, to create an energetic connection to allow
us to collaborate in the manifestation of that desire. So,
when il a desire in my energy field and then
reach out energetic cords and connect it to beings, and
I invite like my angels for example, or gods and
(11:08):
goddess says or whoever anybody works with Okay, from your
own faith, to create those energetic connections so we can
receive their guidance. It's not very different from praying. It's
just a more visual, energetic type of praying where you
are connecting with energy.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
I could imagine too, it almost like when you were
just talking then I was visualizing it, and it feels
like a bit of like a weight off my shoulders,
you know, like you're you've got support, you're able to surrender.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
Do you feel like that's what it helps with too.
Speaker 3 (11:46):
Ah, Yes, especially when you do it daily. And I
actually I haven't thought about it that way before, so
thank you for bringing this new understanding. It is about
surrender because you know that the universe has your back
and that it's not just you trying to manifest something.
You're collaborating with other people, with other entities, organizations, with
(12:06):
universal loves. You're collaborating in the manifestation of your desire.
So you know it's not up to you, like surrender,
let it go, show up, do the work, that's your part,
but the rest it's up to source.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
I love that so much.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
Before I really want to touch on because you mentioned
how Greeks and Egyptians have way more sophisticated, you know,
understanding of manifestation. I would love for you to, you know,
maybe touch on what you know, what they kind of
know that we've really forgotten about.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
I just like, obviously manifestation comes from you know, a
previous cultures and whatnot, so I just find it so
interesting and I'd love for you don't.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
Touch on that more.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
Yes. I was recently interviewed by National Geographic about the
ancient origins of manifestation, and I dive deep into the
topic to like, went back to my research, and I
was so fascinated as to like again what I said
in the beginning, New Age is actually very old Age.
So being Greek myself and being a priest to the
Hellenic ethnic religion, which is the religion of the ancient Greeks,
(13:16):
I always try to go back to the ancient, specifically
the ancient Greeks, and see what I've been thinking and
believing my entire life. All these New Age concepts of
essential that I was exploring, whether there's any truth to
them from the ancients perspective, and in most cases there is.
So when it comes to modifiestination, when you go back
(13:36):
to the ancient Greeks, for example, as part of the religion,
the ancient Greek religion, they wrote hymns, ancient hymns, and
we have them today, we have the Orphic Hymns. They
are published and they're translated to English. In my previous book,
Secrets of Greek Mysticism, I have lots of them in there.
(13:58):
They are ancient hymns. And when you know at the
end of each hymn, and these are hymns by the
way to the Gods, the gods and goddess Zeus, Aphrodity, Demeter, Artemis,
et cetera. So at the end of almost every single
hymn there is an affirmative statement of receiving help from
that God. There is nothing like oh, please help us okay,
(14:21):
there is thank you for for example. So we can
see the intention and the prayer being part of the
religion and how they are partnering already with gods and
goddess ays for manifestation. Understanding also that gods and god
says are not outside of them, they're just different universal
laws themselves. Aphrodite, for example, she is the law of
(14:45):
form here in Cyprus. One of her epithets was Aphrodity morpho,
which means who gives form to things. So gods and
god says are not just deities, they're not just spirit guides,
they are universe loss So we have proof there of
ancient people reciting hymns two universal laws that they personified
(15:08):
as gods and goddess says to help them manifest their desires.
When we go in later antiquity, we have the merging
of the Egyptian the Greek, and then later on the
Jewish religion as well, and we have the Greek magical Papyrie.
This is a selection of texts of essentially spells. And
when you look at these spells, we have spells for
(15:29):
attracting love and spells for attracting abundance. And I'm talking
ancient times right now. We have spells for manifestation. And
here we are like writing books and writing spells about
manifestation and thinking we invented the wheel. We have not.
And for some reason, we're obsessing over this freaking law
(15:53):
of attraction, which is powerful. They did not refer to
it as the law of attraction. The hermetics refer to
it as the law of vibration. And forgetting all the
other laws of the universe and all the other techniques
and correspondences and religious aspects and spirituality. That's way more
(16:13):
deep and nuanced than just obsessing over a Porsche, for example,
and hoping to get it.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
That is so incredible that like, I love how you
explain the laws of the universe and everything. I just
it's so old and it's something that people have been
practicing and embodying for so long, and it's so incredible
that especially like from your culture that you're able to
(16:41):
go back and really see it, you know, in there.
So that's yeah, that is incredible, and thank you so
much for sharing that.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
I think something I.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Find is, you know, someone will find a TikTok or
something on social media about manifest station and they think, Okay, well,
I've just got to create a vision board, do some affirmations,
and then it's all going to work out.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
What would you say to that person.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
It's not gonna work as simple as that. Look, I
do the tiktoks as well, okay, and everybody wants to
find a solution in a thirty second clip. You're not
going to find a solution. The whole point of social
media is to get you in the door, okay, So creators,
we create TikTok videos to get people through the front
(17:35):
door so we can actually teach them what's behind that.
Of course, you can find a practice that actually works,
but you likely need more than that, and eventually you're
gonna reach like a roadblock and you need to go
deeper than that. So it brings me to the topic
of doing the inner work as part of manifestation and
(17:56):
not bashing on limiting beliefs and thoughts and emotions. There
is again this fear of filling our emotions. And what
I've done in the book, because I also come from
a psychology background, I've included a trauma therapy process in
the book, an I movement process that has to do
with processing negative emotions and processing limiting beliefs, because why
(18:20):
ignore them when they've manifested. If something has already manifested
within you, meaning a thought or an emotion that's negative,
you cannot escape it. By ignoring it, and spiritually, bypassing,
you're just allowing it to grow stronger and stronger and stronger.
It will get your attention eventually and you will learn
a lesson. You choose the intensity. You can ignore it
(18:44):
and allow the intensity to increase, or you can face
it and transmute it. So that's the real core teaching
of manifestation is doing the inner work transmuting what alchemy
was all about. It was about transmuting thing things from
(19:05):
one state to another, including our own emotions. So in
the book, I teach energetic transmutation practices, both cognitive ones
and energetic ones, because as you know, healing is multi dimensional.
It's not just about the cognitive or just about the
emotional or just about the somatic, or just about the energy.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
I love that so much, and I think a lot
of people are scared to do, you know, the let's say,
the shadow side of manifesting, the looking at their staff,
the icky stuff. So I love that you brought that up.
And I think it is hard because you know, often we.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Want to do the light work.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
We want to do the vision wards and the affirmation
affirmations because they feel, you know, they feel really good.

You can download the app now via the link in
the show notes. I obviously know your process is in
your book, and I very much encourage everyone to go
get it. But I would love if you could give
(21:12):
the audience just something.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
So let's say they are having a.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
Really crippling limiting belief, and let's say it's, for example.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
I'm not good enough. What's something that they could.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
Do right now to you know, transmut or move through.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
That I'm not good enough. Yes, so I will teach
something that I teach in the book as well. There
the beginning of the process that will help you get
to the root cause of that limiting belief. This is
more of a life coaching tool, but eventually I bring
energy into it. So when you think about any belief
that you have, there is a pronoun in that belief,
and it's usually I or me. Okay, I am not
(21:52):
good enough, I need to practice more, I'm too old,
I am to this, I'm to that. That is usually
an eye there, okay. Now, whenever we identify with a
pronounce that as I or me or myself, that means
that there are we've learned essentially to identify in that way.
(22:13):
It's a learned belief. So when we start asking questions,
we can start figuring out how we learn that belief.
So let's say, for example, we take the belief I
am not good enough. When you think of I that
isn't good enough, where is I in the body? Because
the body keeps the score, that's a book, the party.
The body keeps those memories. Okay, so when you think
(22:36):
of I that is not good enough, where is I
in the body? I feel it in my solar plexus?
For example. Okay, how old is I there? Okay, I
is twelve years old? And you don't know why you're
coming up with a number, but you're coming up with
a number. I is twelve years old. So what's happening
around twelve year old? I there in the solar plexus?
(22:58):
And here you have a memory of your dad scolding
you for getting a lower grade at school. And in
that moment, you started creating that belief of I am
not good enough. And then what I do and what
I'm teach in the book, I teach this process called
integral eye movement therapy, where you move your eyes while
(23:19):
thinking about that specific memory, and there's science behind that.
It reprograms your mind into having a different perspective of
that memory. But simply by doing this process of asking
those questions will get you a lot that you can
start journaling right now and start figuring things out.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
That's amazing.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
That's incredible, And I have heard about that Ie movement
exercise and know that there's some incredible science behind that.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
So that's so.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
Cool that that's in your book and people can go
and check it out. To finish off the episode, George,
I would love for you to again the current season
in my podcast. It is very much about giving the
audience very like actionable tools that they can like go
away with, and I'd love for you to kind of
(24:10):
just like brush over your five step manifest station process
just to get that brain thinking of like how can
they can start implementing and obviously to go deeper, guys,
I will link it.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
You have to go read George's book.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
Yes, I would love to share the process because it's
quite different from most manifestation processes. So it is it's
a five step process. Step number one's raise your vibration.
In most processes, that's the last step okay, but I
like to start with this step. Why because it's only
when we raise our vibration and align ourselves to the
(24:45):
frequency of who we truly are, the frequency of source. Essentially,
only then can we truly know what a live purpose
is and choose desires aligned to it. Because I believe
that we cannot manifest every thing we want, and we
should not want to manifest everything we want. Why because
(25:05):
if something is in misalignment with a live purpose, then
we're doing a disservice to ourselves and the world if
we try to manifest that. Yes, we can try, and
with a lot of hard work we could manifest it.
But why does not try and manifest something that's aligned
to our life purpose? So step number one raise our vibration.
(25:25):
Step number two clarify your desires because once your vibration
is high, then you can find your purpose and clarify
desires aligned to that purpose, choosing specific desires, and I
teach in the book how to find the purpose and
choose the desires. That's step number three. Release a limiting
beliefs that you have around those desires. Let's say my
(25:47):
desire is to publish a book. The belief could be
my English is not good enough, for example, so work
so my English is not good enough. My English when
you think about my english, worries my English in the body,
and how my English in the body there, and what's
happening around him? Okay, And then you can start figuring
(26:09):
out what's happening there? Okay, we don't. We can use
this process not just with I and me, but with
any pronoun that said. Okay, when you think of that,
where is that? How old is that? And what's happening
around that? And you can see what's coming up there.
It's an abstract process, but very interesting. And then after
you release your limiting beliefs in both cognitive and energetic ways,
(26:32):
then you move into step number four. You nurture the
energy of your desires. This is the Woogle part of
the process, where you're planting the desires, the energy of
the desires in your energy field and connecting them with
frequencies and people and organizations that can help you manifest them.
And then step number five take inspired action. This is
(26:54):
the most practical part of the book, where I'm teaching
people how to balance their lives in musculine and feminine
energy in a really practical way as spiritual people will
like doing a meditation for everything, like, ooh, I am
doing a meditation to balance my musculine and feminine energy
poof balance.
Speaker 2 (27:11):
No you're not.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
You need to balance it day to day. What I
teach people is how to plan their year in advance
so it's balanced in both musculine energy activities like launching
something and feminine energy activities like taking a vacation and
then using that monthly sorry, that yearly plan to plan
(27:34):
their quarters, their months, their weeks, and their days so
that there is an equal amount of musculine energy and
feminine energy. Because unless we take action towards manifesting our desires,
nothing will manifest. We need to show up for the
universe to show up for us, and that has to
happen in a balanced way. Some people either over extend
(27:59):
their elves and they overwork themselves and they burn out.
Been there more times than I would like to admit,
and then me too. So people procrastinate the heaven out
of manifestation. They're like, oh, I'm just gonna meditate raise
my vibration, and this way I'm raising the vibration of
the world. And I'm like, no, you're not. You're raising
(28:21):
the vibration of your room. So yes, thank you for
coming to my TED talk.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
No, I love your process so much, and I really
love that you start with raising your vibration just quickly.
I really want to touch on because I thought this
was so interesting in your book with the you know,
manifesting with one's higher purpose. This is something that often
my community will be like, I don't know my purpose.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
I don't know my purpose. I don't know what to do.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
And for me personally, my purpose really came as a
byproduct when I was you know, tuning into my desires
kind of like the way describe it to my students
is like it's like there's fog around, but I'm just
following like one step out of time. I don't actually
know where I'm going, And that has been really helpful
(29:16):
to like not have this like grand purpose up on
the wall. I know exactly who I am and where
I'm going, and like it definitely became clearer. But if
someone is really struggling with their purpose, what sort of
life advice would you give them?
Speaker 3 (29:31):
Yes, look back on your childhood and figure out who
you were, what you liked, and what you wanted to
be when you grew up as a kid, because when
we are children, we have not yet been indoctrinated by
the world. By there you have to go to school
and go to university and get those grades, and therefore
(29:52):
we're more aligned to our purpose. So when I look
back in my life, I always wanted to perform and
be a singer and be an actor. I am in
drama school right now, and even with my spiritual work,
I'm performing right now. For example, I'm not speaking on camera, okay,
So when we go back, we can find those clues,
those bread crumbs that will leave us to lead us
(30:15):
to our purpose. Also, it has to do with connecting
those bread cramps to moments of pure joy. What do
we do that brings us joy? Because joy is our
original state, it's our authentic self. So whenever we do
something that's aligned with joy, it's automatically aligned to our
life purpose. And I am the while I am the
(30:36):
kind of person that likes to come up with my purpose,
define a live purpose declaration and stick it to the
wall and read it daily. At the same time, I
know that it changes, not changes. It reveals itself to
me more and more every single day. As I engage
with that. So for many years, I define my purpose
as I'm here to help live workers overcome fears and
(30:58):
limiting beliefs that prevent them from following their purpose. It's
how I define myself at the beginning. But what I'm
finding out more and more as I'm doing this work
is I enjoy in this season of my life doing
a lot of energy work more than I used to
in the past. So my purpose is evolving and in
revealing to me that it's got to do with using
(31:20):
energy practices helping people do the energy work to do
all that. So I'm refining my life purpose declaration. I
couldn't have refined that five years ago in this way
because I didn't know what I didn't know. So I
love your approach taking it once about a time, going
with what feels good, and looking back and checking back
(31:42):
with your childhood to see, Okay, is my inner child
still happy with me doing that? Because if your inner
child is happy with you doing that, that means you're
in the right track.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
That's beautiful. I think I love that so much.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
Something I've actually been doing lately, which is a little
bit off topic, but I find that if I am
dismissing my inner child, even with.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
Expressing myself, you know, to my husband.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
You know, my business is anything I become someone I
don't want to be like.
Speaker 2 (32:18):
I get to this state where I'm like, nothing's working.
I feel stark.
Speaker 1 (32:23):
This is not it, and I realize a lot of
it is because I have been dismissing and not listening
to inner Georgie. And when I slowly come back to that,
everything feels better and everything flows.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
So I love that you touched on.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
That because that's a practice I've literally been doing right now,
not necessarily for my purpose, but just for lie.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
I needed to hear this. Thank you for this reminder
because I need to do more of that, because it's
easy to get caught up in the business of life
and then forget to take care of you in a child.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
Yeah, so easy. George. It has been such a pleasure.
