Speaker 1 (00:11):
You're listening to a Muma Mia podcast. Mamma Mia acknowledges
the traditional owners of land and borders that this podcast
is recorded on Good Morning Darling Spillers. It is Wednesday, baby,
(00:33):
and in the words of Fergie, my humps, my humps,
my humps, my humps, my lovely lady lumps. That's my
tribute to hump Day. Ash London here ready to inject
your morning with some celebrity and entertainment news. My dream
is it in five minutes time you'll float off to
the rest of your day to be the queen of
the girl's chat or the water cooler chat or whatever
(00:54):
chat is coming your way. Let's get into it. If
you've ever slid into a celebrities DMS and that left
you on road, don't feel bad. It happens to the
best of us, even Calvin Harris. In an interview with
Lewis Capaldi over the weekend, Lewis revealed that Calvin is
still waiting a reply after they got into this tradition.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Yeah me, Calvin, their song here. I'm avoid conflict and
avoid any competition or avoid any sort of letting people
and people please.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
But do you not think you'll please the people if
the song comes out.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Well, but this is the thing. I didn't like the song.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Yeah, you're quite a self critical person.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
No, I'm sure my friends and they agree. But the
problem that I phoned with this, yeah he was. I
never reply to Calvin telling him that I didn't like her.
He then messages me like two months later saying hate
it question mark, and I was, I grew up idolizing
Kounhas and now I have to tell him I don't
like a song. So I just ignored that as well,
(01:49):
and to this day I haven't replied to it. I
have seen him since I love the cowen Has song,
but he also has to segul.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
Well, that's not the only collaboration that's fallen through for
poor Calvin. Last year he teased a Miley cyrus Co
lab called Oceans, which has since fallen through. He's now
announced he'll be re releasing this song, well, releasing the
song with a different vocalist, this time, Jesse Rayes. Fans
hit the TikTok comments demanding an explanation. Someone else asked
(02:16):
if the decision to change the vocalist was the fault
of Miley's team, and Harris wrote back now it was
my bad crossed wire. So here's the tease of the
Miley version that we got last year.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Tell me that the body might be hallfl me.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
The way and he is The new version with Jesse
Rayes Sells may be whom for me. They both sound
pretty bloody good to me. Next up, Michelle Williams was
(03:00):
a guest on Jimmy Kimmel with guest host Tiffany Haddish
and announced the birth of her fourth child by Saraha.
Michelle has three other children, aged nine, teen, five, and two.
So yeah, three kins under five. More power to you, Michelle.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
Then I got to give a big shout out to
Christine because this last baby did not come through my body,
but the miracle bar little girl, as minks to Christine.
Maybe you're watching out there, Christine.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Yeah, but I have thanks to Christine.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Three und five at home stick around. Up next, which
star of the Little Mix has opened up about some
recent pretty full on mental health battles. Welcome back now.
I am a big fan of Little Mix. Hair is
a bang up for the ages, Get around it, but
(03:53):
I digress. Verry Edwards from the band revealed on the
We Need to Talk podcast that her anxiety got really
bad at the end of last year, to the point
where she was unable to leave her home for long
periods of time.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
So agrophobia is when you feel well. From my experience,
I feel very unsafe and uneasy when I leave the house,
don't feel safe. And I think for me it was
a case of like, I didn't want to go too
far from home because it was too hord to get back.
So home was my safe space, and I kind of
told myself, in my house, where I'm safe, nothing can
(04:25):
get me, nobody's else to attack me. I'm not going
to have the panic attacks.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
I'm safe here.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
But now I've realized that that is limiting me from
doing the things that I love more than anything.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
Good on your Perry. I got to say, it's so
wonderful that so many famous people are normalizing mental health battles. Now.
It means that normal people like you and me feel
a little less alone and feel more comfortable reaching out
for help. So what she's going through obviously is so tough,
but the fact that she feels comfortable and brave enough
to share it with the world is so commendable. Good
on your Perry, and finally, White Lotus and Pats and
(04:59):
Restar Aubrey Plaza has opened up on Amy Pohler's Good
Hang about the grief she's processing in her first interview
since her husband Jeff's tragic death earlier.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
There's like a cliff on one side, and then there's
like a cliff on the other side, and then there's
like gorge in between, and it's like filled with all
these like monster people that are trying to get them,
and like I swear when I watched it, I was like,
that is like feels like what my grief is like.
Where it's like or what grief could be like, where
it's like at all times there's like a giant like
(05:34):
ocean of just awfulness that's like right there and I
can like see it, and like sometimes I just want
to like just dive into it and just like be
in it. And then sometimes I just like look at it,
and then sometimes I'm like I just try to get
away from it, but it's always there.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
