most iconic Coachella moments over the years, because the lineup

has just been announced. First, I'm gonna get you up
to speed with this year's headliners. First up, the double
entendre Loving sex Kitten herself my girl, Sabrina Carpenter will
be headlining at Night one, alongside the likes of the xx,
Teddy Whims and Cats side. Now, before I head to
Night two or three, I do have to share something
pretty great that I saw on Instagram. So I follow

Sabrina Carpenter and as I'm going through my stories, I
see some ossies pop up and I was like, oh,
I thought I was still in Sabrina Carpenter's stories, and
I realized I was because she had retweeted comedy Do
you know duo Granny Flat together with locking back and tied.
They're a couple of hilarious ozzie now they did a
skit on Insta. Let me set the scene for you.
It's like a group of like bads, scary looking biky

dudes wearing leather, hanging out in a dingy clubhouse, looking
all manly and rough with some very important stuff to discuss.

I was thank you for joining me at the clubhouse
on short notice. As you all know, something happened over
the weekend. I'm sure you know what I'm referring to.

We need to talk about it. Subreeny Carpenter dropped on
new album Man's Best Friend.

So Yes, Sabrinas shared this git to her forty eight
point eight million followers. Get in boys all Right. Back
to this year's Coachello lineup. No big deal but Night
two Justin Bieber, The Strokes and Addison Raight. Now Justin
Bieber's got two new albums, lots of new material to
get through. So the perfect headliner for Night to two

and then night three when everyone is but a mere
shell of a human Colombian singer Carol G. Young, Thug,
Major Laser, and FKA Twigs. Now, Coachellie is happening across
two weekends in April as always, with tickets going on
sale this Friday and starting at a measly six hundred
and fifty US dollars, which is like a cheeky thousand,
No biggie. Okay, but now, if we're going to talk

about iconic Coachella moments, we may as well just start
with the Goat. I'll never forget where I was when
Beyonce was headlining Coachella. I was watching on my iPad
in Melbourne. I was making a curry. It's a celebration
of black culture and power, and it ended up aptly
being named Beachella. Beyonce's performance remains the most watched Coachella

performance of all time. But my favorite bit the lights
went dark and three figures appeared on the stage. It
was the return of Destiny's Child. Stick around. We've got

more of the most iconic Coachella moments from history when
we returned, including the hologram that blew our faces off,
when Madonna pasheda famous rapper who genuinely looked disgusted with
the whole thing. It's all coming Upcome back, darlings. We
are making our way through some of my favorite Coachella
moments from history as we celebrate the lineup which has

just been dropped to Britta Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Carol
g are the headliners. So do you guys remember the
tupa hologram. This is kind of before AI ruined the
world and we were still impressed by things. The year
was twenty twelve and Dre brought out Snoop Dogg and
resurrected the Slain Wrapper for the performance of a lifetime.

First from the West Side. Can make your previous mixt
the dumb.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Lit So you have to watch it to believe it, honestly,
truly iconic behavior. Twenty fifteen, Florence Welch, lead singer of
Florence and Machine, got a little carried away at the
end of her Coachella set. She jumped off the stage
and broke her ankle. Yeah, she then had to complete

(04:58):
the rest of her too in a moon boot. But
as you'll hear in this interview grab, it was kind
of a blessing in disguise, Angie.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
They would have done a bigger show like CoA Sallow
and that kind of thing, but this injury meaning and
remember having to sit down a minute, it kind of
like create this intimacy and this connection with the audience
that I hadn't like, I hadn't thought about. You know,
we were actually we did this show.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Stripped back now in that same year. Something that I
forgot happened because I think I scrubbed it from my
memory due to pure like third hand embarrassment. So Madonna
is on stage singing and then she gets Drake up there.
And this is back when Drake was still like very
very cool, and so he's up there sitting on a chair.
She's kind of doing this like dance around him, and

then Madonna plants a big old kiss on his lips
so you can hear there. The crowd goes wild. It's
a moment. But what you can't see, and I encourage

(06:01):
you to google this and get the YouTube video, is
that when she pulls away, Drake's face is like he
has just sucked a lemon. He looks disgusted. It's so awkward. Now,
I'm going to assume the kiss had been mutually agreed
on beforehand, and if it was, I'll give you the
hot tip Drake did heer dirty? Well? That is it

for me, my loves looking back on the most iconic
Coachella moments in history. Of course, the headliners have been
announced Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter and Carol g happening April
next year in the California Desert. I got to get
