Speaker 1 (00:08):
You're listening to Amma Mia podcast. Good Morning Angels, and
Happy Monday. Have we all recovered from Christmas? I'm hoping

(00:29):
the food was good and no Beckham style feuds have
sport from that much family time in such a concentrated exposure.
I've got a little bit of everything for you today.
Family feuds at weddings, not the Beckhams, this time a
legal win for Ma Riah, Harry Styles dropping something emotional, classic,
Harry Bridgeton bringing all the romance, and one of our
favorite actors reminding us what thoughtful really looks like. So

(00:51):
grab you kapp up. We've got a lot to unpack. Okay,
First up, the wedding that had both glam and family drama.
Holly Ramsey. So that's the daughter of Gordon Ramsey tied
the knot with Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty at Bath Abbey
in the UK over the weekend. And what was this
as a lavish staff stunned affair, complete with Victoria and
David Beckham and elegance undresses gorgeous. The only thing missing

(01:15):
the groom's entire family. Turns out, Adam's side the family
was seriously not there for it, but literally not there
for it. Most of his immediate family, including his mum,
Caroline and dad, weren't at the ceremony after ongoing tensions
reportedly sparked over guest lists and pre wedding events. According
to reports, Adam received what one insider called a brutal

(01:36):
message from his aunt on the day of the wedding
that basically said, shame on you for how you treated
your mum. You know what they say. Nothing brings out
the emotion like a wedding and a family feud. Never
might a family feued out a wedding very dramatic, but
cheerfully Holy's dad, Gordon, showed his softer side on Instagram
at proudly posting picks with his daughter and calling Adam
an incredible sunny in law. Moving from wedding drama to

(01:59):
holiday law drama, the Queen of Christmas herself came out
on top this festive season. And I don't mean the
fact that she's swimming in royalties like every Christmas. I
mean she's won us of a lawsuit. Mariah Carey has
been awarded over ninety two thousand dollars in legal fees
after a federal judge dismissed a copyright lawsuit claiming her
iconic hit All They Want for Christmas says here was copied?

(02:19):
Who would do this to our Christmas Queen? The audacity
the plain Tips had asked for millions of damages, but
the court found the claims lacked evidence and not only
tossed the case but ordered the legal team to carver expenses.
It's a massive such down and now a break from
family friction and festive lord to something emotional and very Harry.
Harry Styles quietly dropped a video titled Forever Forever on YouTube.

(02:41):
It's a long, cinematic piece sent it around a piano
ballad from his final tour night and fans and podcast
hosts are obsessed. So it kicks off with footage kind
of like outside the concert venue where fans are getting
ready to go in for his final tour in Italy,
and then it's got him coming on the stage in
a kind of gold glitter onesie heaven. He says to

(03:03):
the piano and says this, which translates to I wrote
this few Yeah. Whether this single's a new era or

(03:47):
just Harry being Harry, the internet is already spinning theories
faster than you can say. HS four. Here are some
of my favorite coins from YouTube. It's like singer X
after three years he got bored of running marathons that
remembered he has a job brother finally remembered his channel password.
This is like that one ex that texts you after healed.
I feel like a Victoria man seeing woman's ankles for

(04:08):
the first time. God, people are funny my take on it.
This is his way of saying, I know I've been away,
but I haven't forgotten about you. Be patient, uncomming releasing
it in that funny time in between Christmas and New
Year's though, like wheneverone's back in their childhood homes, some
of which have one dposters up on the wall. I'm
not sure whether it's sweet or brutal, but either way,
I've got a feeling. Twenty twenty six, it's going to

(04:29):
be a big year to be a Harry fan. Stick
around it. When we return, we have new Bridgton and
Miles Taylor makes us all cry on Christmas morning for
those super emotion about Harry styles a possible return. I've
got the antidote, and it's a Bridgeten trailer. Baby. The
official trailer for Season four, dropped on Christmas Day, and
it's giving full Cinderella meets Recency Romance. We begin another season.

(04:55):
I should like great gossip. The social season might look
at it, or no, he must begin the proper way,
dearest gentle reader.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
So the season's most notorious gentleman, Benedict Bridgeton.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
He must bow to that most powerful of forces. Mothers
do something. You must marry. You have not met the
right young lady. I am chanting him a venturesome course.
You're right. All the eyes is a tongue will be
on us at my masquerade, bore. Can you imagine how
beautiful a ball would be? How horrible it is to

(05:31):
be on one's feet all night? They will attend the
ball tonight and they will not appreciate any of it.
Just once, just have that feeling for one glorious night.
You could go tonight once again. We'll get this in
two parts, kicking off jan twenty nine, with part two
dropping twenty six. Finally, something genuinely heart melting. After losing
their home and Kaylee Teller's wedding dress in the Devastating

(05:54):
California Wildfiles earlier this year, actor Miles Teller surprised her
with something incredibly thoughtful. He had her wedding Gowann remade
by the original designer and gifted it to her on Christmas.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Wedding guess yeah, oh my god, oh my god.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
If my husband is listening, if we ever lose my
wedding dress and you want to get it again on
either two size this weekend, thank you. And that's in
Morning Tea for today's spillers. And make sure you're following
this bill podcast on Instagram and TikTok to stay up
to date with all the latest entertainment news. Morning Tea
is hosted and produced by me Ash London, with the
executive producer Minishi is Worried I'll be back tomorrow. See yea,

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
