Speaker 1 (00:11):
You're listening to a Muma Mia podcast. Mamma Mea acknowledges
the traditional owners of land and borders that this podcast
is recorded on Good Morning Spillers Ash London. Here and
(00:33):
while you were off.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
In the land of Nod, I was in the deepest
caverns of the Internet searching for tasty, tasty morsels of
entertainment news for you, because I love you. On today's show,
Kissenya goes one on one with the stars of Nobody
Wants This. The Kardashians have returned Hugh Jackman's red carpet
romance debut, and more so, there's only one question left
(00:56):
to ask, are you ready to spill some tea?
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Let's spill some tea? First up.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Now, by now you may have caught it at least a
couple of episodes of the Nobody Wants This Season two,
as we follow the journey of Noah the Hot Rabbi
and Joanne the Cool Podcaster. Side note, I love that
they called her Joanne. You know, usually they give them
a cool name, like I don't know, Stacy's not a
cool name, but you know what I mean. But Joanne
is an everyday girl name, and I love that and
(01:23):
I love Joanne, and I love Kristin Bell, and I
love the show. Well, I think personally that this second season,
the real kind of highlight of the series is the
incredible kind of secondary cast, the characters that we love,
Morgan and Sasha and the parents.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
It's all just delicious.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Well the spills Kissenya Lukitch caught up with Justine Lupe
aka Morgan Everyone's favorite sister of the weekend, and they
discussed my favorite relationship in the show, the one between
Morgan and Noah's Hilario's brother Sasha.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Yeah, I know, I'm curious about what that dynamic is,
and I also really enjoyed the kind of evolution into
a purely platonic support system between the two of them.
And also there is kind of like a magnet to
kind of draw that these two have between each other.
So I'm curious to see where it goes and where
(02:16):
they're kind of buddy comedy situation, oddball, screwball, weirdo black
sheep of the family dynamic takes them.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Because then you also caught up with the creator of
the show, Aaron Foster and one of the writers, Jenny Connor.
But their approach when it came to developing those supporting characters, which,
as I said, for me, is the highlight of this
whole series.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
One of the most fun things about a second season
of a show is now you've established no En, Joanne.
We know who they are, we know who they are
to each other, and we can continue to tell those stories.
But we have a little more real estate for the
other characters. You know, I always say, no one knew
who Elijah was in the first season, but in second
season we got to tell his stories and put him
(02:57):
in more things. And that's the beauty of second season's
third seasons. You're going to start to know even more people.
It's really the.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Joy of not just making movies.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
Now you're making a TV show and you get to
grow everyone over and over and over again.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
The second season of Nobody Wants This is out and
out in full on Netflix. Speaking of season returns, the
Kardashians are back and then new season prompts is to be.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Tattier than ever. As always, it would seem that Courtney has.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Her judgy glasses on, and look, I got to admit
this promo made me low.
Speaker 5 (03:32):
If you don't like what we're wearing, if you don't
like how we look.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
That's okay, just commit Hi, nice to see you.
Speaker 5 (03:38):
We never see you anymore.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
Hi.
Speaker 5 (03:42):
It was more of a moment of recognition, like me
realizing something and then saying it out loud, versus me
being critical about their outfits. If they're feeling a corset
and six inch heels, God bless good for you, babe.
I don't come in and say like, huh, I would
(04:05):
never give up on life so soon, you know, like,
I don't say the opposite. It's the passive aggressive for me.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
The new season also promises the return of Caitlyn Jenner
and Rob kardashing into the fold, if only for a
couple of cameos.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
You can stream it now on Disney.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Plus stick Around Spillers when we return, Hugh Jackman and
Sutton Foster step out, and an update on Sean Diddy
Combs's release.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Welcome back to Your Morning Tea. I'm still dealing with.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
The end of Hugh Jackman and Deberly Finness. Look, I
want to be happy that he's moved on. I really
really do. I am happy that he's living his best life.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
And this is trying.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
This is me trying my best to kind of get
on board and support him in his new adventures. So
Hugh Jackman and his new girlfriend Broadway star Sutton Foster
have hit the red carpet for closing night of the
AFI Fest in Los Angeles. The two pos on the
red carpet at the premiere of Hughes film Song Sung Blue,
flashing smiles with the cameras and look, Fay, look, be
(05:10):
good on them.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Good luck to them, Fili, We're happy.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
I am happy for them, as you can see, as
you can hear, this is me try.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
I don't know them. They're not my friends. This has
nothing to do with me. Why do I care so much?
I don't know? Oh sidepoint Kate Hudson.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Who stars alongside Hue in the film, It's already generating
with the Oscar bars for her role. It would be
her second nomination after her non back in two thousand
and one for Almost Famous Witch.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
Let's Be Honest is one of the great films.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
And finally we have got a release date for Sean
Diddy Combs after the hip hop Mogul was sentenced to
four years and two months in federal prison following his
conviction on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines
for prostitution.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
Related activities, while.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
He was acquitted on the more serious racketeering and sex
trafficking charges. So having already served over a year behind
bars since his September twenty twenty four arrest, it's projected
that he'll be released in May of twenty twenty eight,
with five years of supervised release and a five hundred
thousand dollars five to follow.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
