Speaker 1 (00:00):
Life is an endless series of train wrecks, with only
brief commercial like breaks of happiness. Chilly how I gosh, Grace,
good to be, good to be within your Grace's good
to be that, guys.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
I love that.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
I like that one. Just it just came to me. Now,
just came to me.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Now, guys, I've never heard it before.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Guys, if you if you were listening for the first time,
this is Grace, our lovely producer. I've introed you so
many times, Grace, but thank you.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Keep it coming. Mom.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Okay, you know what, I'm just gonna keep introwing you
because you deserve that. You deserve the red carpet rolled
out every time you usually enter our podcast here till
were you Were you serious when you sent me that Drake?
Oh that Drake TikTok?
Speaker 2 (00:43):
So yes, so tell them what I sent you.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Wait wait, wait, so there's a TikTok going around with
there's the distracts between Drake and Kendrick. Obviously that's now.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Let's live react to it. Actually all right, all right, yeah,
go on you can you put it up because light
and can you just put it to your microphone because
I actually want to blind and react like the rest
of TikTok. First, okay, let's go to play hold on,
hold on, hold on, put it really loud.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Turn this up all right right now, put it in,
and I need to get those talking about like this,
(01:44):
stop it. That is not real. Okay, I need to
play you guys the actual real version. Later. That was
a I generated. It's a I generated. It is not real.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
That's so awkward because it's literally all over TikTok.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Literally, Lynn thought it was real too. She came up
to me and she's like, did did Drake wrap something
about putting his wiener and Kendrick's.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Mouth that No way AI made that all song, but
somebody else made the prompt. Somebody had.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Yeah, that's what that's well, that's what's scary about our world.
Now you can literally take just like a little someone.
It's just oh man, it's terrifying. Guys. Wait, I've got
I've got some good news. I've got some good news.
You're ready for this. I took well, it was my
own advice. Really, I took my own advice. Screen time,
guys has gone down fifteen percent or something four hours
(02:34):
four hour agregations than you.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
Mine went up.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
I thought a change.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
We were holding each other account.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yeah, I was twelve hours yesterday. I had a lot
of stuff to sort out.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Do you do all of your work from your phone,
emails and everything? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Everything.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
You're tragic man. This is why I don't know how
I work with you.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
That was anyway, what have you been up to?
Speaker 3 (03:02):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Well, so I was actually meant to go to Bad
Boys last night too, Marley O, tell me about it
was you.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Want to hear me?
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Tom meantim didn't make it on time.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
So so wow, you missed out.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
And I place as a new movie with.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Guys, this is really cool.
So we got invited Lynn and I will Lynn. I
was the plus one. I don't get invited to anything
out here to this Bad Boys premiere first showing, Yeah,
right called the Spade of Spade first showing in New York, right,
which was hosted by Tilly. You will have no idea
(03:40):
who this is? His name's Camelo Anthony.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
Well, I know no idea.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Oh you don't he doing so huge, huge legendary NBA player,
this guy is and he was hosting it with his partner.
They do this podcast out in Brooklyn called the seven
PM Podcast. Maybe we should go on at one time
till but these guys are massive. These guys are massive.
But right because literally, and I'm gonna get to the
(04:06):
next part, they clearly won't want us because they literally
had a live podcast with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence
after the movie was done.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
So were they watching the movie?
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Then they must Will Smith and Martin Lawrence were there
next year, guys, We're there at the event Will Smith, dude,
Will Smith. And I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, Grace.
This was I was like, oh my god. So first
I'm seeing Camelo and I'm like, yo, this is insane.
Like I've looked up to this guy forever and he's
hosting this event. And then Will Smith and Martin Lawrence
come out and I'm like, what is happening? And we're
(04:39):
watching the movie and the movie is amazing. We're all laughing.
It's hilarious. Right. It was a tight knit group within
this little theater out there in New York City, and
I just had to keep pinching myself, oh my god,
and tell yeah and telling myself that wait, Will Smith
and Martin Lawrence are watching this movie with me like
their own movie with.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
Me laughing, we're reading the same air. Literally, were you
like in the same section as them? There was no yeah, really.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Probably only guys. There was probably only thirty forty people
within this room. Not a lot of people, but yeah,
not a lot of people.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
You were literally like hanging out with.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
He was right there.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
Really get to talk to them.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
I didn't get to talk to them, but they did
again this live podcast at the end, till we want
to get to that. By the way, we were us
three are gone on the road. Guys. We're going worldwide.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
As you're coming with Come with us.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
That is really that's the goal. Everyone keep smashing that
five star review because we want to get to that point.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
That's all it's going to take for us and take
this the road.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Literally, let's go on tour.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Oh my god, please, that would make my Liraine wreck.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
World tour, wreck guys tour. We can manifest this one day?
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yes, is this the guy?
Speaker 3 (05:54):
Until you're showing.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
Four Google stock images of cameras.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
Yeah close close, Yeah, that's close. Yeah she's good. Yeah, God,
you're good. You're good. But that was amazing, So tell
I think you're really missing out on that movie. You
should you should watch it.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Well, we didn't go because last did I tell the
story of the one we went to the.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Mad Max mad or the Dog one?
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Yeah, oh yeah, I went to the Mad Max one
as well.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
What was that?
Speaker 4 (06:26):
Like that?
Speaker 2 (06:26):
And that's the same as Marley had like that had
like who was who was there? The hand? Yeah and
all that and like on your tailor joy and stuff
and it's the same thing. But like, I just don't
enjoy them. You should see the people. They're big wrank.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
Yeah, well I've never been to one, and this there's
a reason I'm.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Big.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
I've never been. Guys. Again, I'm going to keep uping
on it. But this living out in New York, like
this stuff continually happens, right, This is like the last
three or four weeks that like something crazy like this
has happened, and it's.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Just like what czy, guys, shit a bad word?
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Nah?
Speaker 3 (07:08):
No, I think it's holy shit.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Okay, next, yeah it sounds like that half one.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Oh my god, I just posted a reel about it. Actually, congratulations,
I should check that out later. Give it a like, Molly,
thank you, Grace, thank you, thank.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
You so much.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
I'll share it on my story I.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Would actually really appreciate that.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
I will like you subscribe.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Grace. Grace will actually write a song about it, I will.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
I'd love that. Please please. Yeah. So that was fun.
But is Ross around till? Can we give him cole
and let him know what we're talking about. Let's try
a luck. Let's see it. Everyone's loving this this Ross
content as well.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
The people love Ross.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
I'm looking for Ross's name.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
I forgot. He's my dad.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
I was like, look, you have it under dad or Ross?
Speaker 2 (07:58):
I have it under dad. But I was like, why
can't I find Ross? I'm like, oh, that's right, he's
my father.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
I'm always so excited to hear man. Me too, me too,
the anticipation.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Sorry train wrecords.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Hi Dad, sorry train record forty minutes late, well forty
minutes later then we told you. Anyway, today we're talking
about our Big Brother audition videos and just how to
audition for reality TV and the reality TV audition process.
So we're going to give our hot tips and hopefully
it can help somebody out and they can make their debut.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
Bye, huge, huge voice of Russ is going to enjoy
that one after work for sure. But yeah, you heard it, guys,
you heard it here. We're going to dive in deep.
I really want to dive deep into this till the
whole process, the whole audition process from start to finish.
Before we obviously got onto the show. If you guys
haven't already, we did drop probably first or second episode
in the reality of reality to be really good episode
(09:06):
or third episode. There you go, So go back and
listen to that if you haven't already. But we're going
to really dive in and dissect the whole audition process.
If you guys don't know already. Tilly and I were
on Big Brother Australia in season thirteen and twenty twenty one. No.
(09:26):
Twenty twenty actually.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Filmed in twenty twenty eight, was on twenty twenty one.
There you go, dude, I was nineteen that.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Year and I was what twenty five, twenty four, twenty five?
You my, it's insane. Yeah, that's crazy. Let's say I
guess you know, start start from the start of all
of this till what it was COVID again, remember guys
for context, But what made you want to go on
a TV show? Till this is your first time? My
first time too, So like what, yeah, what sparked that interest.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
It was just I remember watching the year before and
I was like, Wow, I could do this better.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
Yeah, same for me.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
And I just really, yeah, really, Marley, you thought the
same thing.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
I don't know. If I didn't know, I didn't. I
can't lie I didn't.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Yeah, yeah, but I thought, God, I could do this better.
I'd give this a crack.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
The reason that I was so interested was because of
the physical activities. So the Big Brother came back after
it got absolutely canceled, and they brought it back with
the head producer who was also the producer for Survivor.
So everything that you do inside the Big Brother house
is exactly like Survivor. You just get to sleep in
a bed at night. So that's way.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
Sorry.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
Can I just before you go on into your wives
of why you auditioned, can you just tell I don't
really know what the full premise of Big Brother is. Like,
I know that everyone stays in a house together, and
it sounds like there's like physical challenges you have to
do and you ended up winning, didn't you, Mary?
Speaker 1 (10:57):
I did. I did Grace, So I did cool one.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
I mean, obviously I knew that I'm playing, but I'm
like oh didn't you. Yeah, But like, what is what
is big?
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Just give me a game show. It's a game show,
but it I think the magical aspect of it is
most of the game shows you play it to win
it just purely based on your gameplay. But with this
you have to have Australia love you to want to.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Vote you win. At the people vote.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Yeah, Australia vote yeah. So your housemates vote up to
the top three three and then the top three Australia
will choose and.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
You're essentially maneuvering through this social and physical and just
emotional game for two and a half months to then
get to the top three. And then once you get
to the top three, that's not even like that's like
half the battle, you know what I mean? Getting through
all of that and let me tell you, Grace, we
will again go back and listen to the other episode
because we really dive into it. But getting to that
(11:56):
point is half the battle because then Australia has to
like you and vote for you at the end of it.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
That is so wild.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Oh it's intense. It's intense again yea till it back
to your point. That is exactly why I applied because
the level of competition and all the like the physical challenges.
But what interested me I was absolutely ship house at
them all. Tilly actually crushed every single one. I was terrible.
I was so confident you weren't even bad.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Mary's good at like playing with balls, and.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
I was. I was very good.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Whereas when I ran, I was throwing up all over
the side.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
Yeah, I thought you were you were like a semi pro.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Yeah, leg size versus mine a little toad and then
Marley's there with a pin long like I was just comparing.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
Tilly was just coming off as well, off of like,
weren't you like the Australia's.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Almost be I was not just coming off that. That
was when I was you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Yeah, literally, she's got should you were.
Speaker 4 (12:58):
Like an amazing rock Yeah. That was mentioned in really
good weeks ago back in the Yeah are you saying
cock climb on?
Speaker 2 (13:07):
That was a good cock.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
Yeah. And she absolutely smashed all of the challenges within
the house, you know, ironically enough, right it was, she
just crashed it. So that was definitely a reason. What
else till what else made you want to go on?
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Well, I always just say in the least arrogant way.
Since I was twelve years old. I know where I
was going on that show that's so weird, like you
were going to be on that Yes, I knew. Really,
I don't know how to tell you.
Speaker 4 (13:34):
I was like, funny, how some girls dream of, you know,
getting mad, dream of their weddings.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
One day, brother, Yeah, surrounded by a million cameras.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Do you know the weirdest thing? Actually, speaking of which
Sky Wheatley, I'm going to sound like a weird stalker fan,
but I don't mean it like this. I remember when
I was in my in our finale, Mahley, when we
were live on stage with Sonya. Sonya Borderline asked me
the exact same questions that she asked guy like in
(14:06):
twenty twelve. It was two thousand.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
What do you say that?
Speaker 2 (14:12):
The same was just oh, I don't know, but it's
just like going on where they choose characters and they
choose yes.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
Oh my god. We've got to get into that. We've
got to get into that. Sonya Grace, have you been
living under where the hell? She is? Like? She's the
queen of television maybe like ten years ago right or
maybe eight years ago. She was like everything Sonya Krueger
was like, she was Big Brothers girl. Yeah, don't you think.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
I just think she's very professional. She's not an entertainer,
she is a professional.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
And maybe I didn't watch enough show because that's all
I that's all I watched.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Was that's actually another sorry.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
That's another part of the reason I wanted to go
on was because I watched No. Yeah to me, so
that actually was a cool moment. Don't don't act like
it wasn't, bro, don't cat.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
I remember meeting so yeah, and Sonya said to me, Tilly,
do you like flying? And what did I say? I said,
what did I say? Would I like to fly? Like
as a superpower?
Speaker 1 (15:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (15:11):
I'd like to fly. Then big brother chaps us on
a plane, so ruined ruined Sonya's thing because she'd been
given a script. So, Tilly, do you like flying? Because
I told him I don't like planes? What too big
for your airplanes? And then she goes, so do you
like flying like as a superpower? Yeah, I like to fly.
(15:32):
Sonya's obviously like throwing was like, what do I do
with that? Yeah? Anyway back to it.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
The next reason was I grew up watching this thing
all the time. With yep, and then again I would
think you're the same till as. I mean the money.
It's a life changing amount of money, right, Like you're like, wow,
what could you do if you won that? Right?
Speaker 2 (15:52):
Oh wait, I want to say something that's gonna the
people on social media will agree. I wish that Big
Brother was how was in the old days. They honestly
Channel seven did themselves dirty by not giving live audience
votes the whole series because back in the day, that
was the appealing part about Big Brother. They're like us
(16:15):
as an audience watching, were so engaged. We got to
determine the fate of the cast members and who you
loved would get to the end. So it's so fun
because it was.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
Yeah, it was voted by the public.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
Yeah yeah, Yeah sucks because now it's so overly edited and.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
You can't do could you imagine a rogue you on
their tilly.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
At nineteen Yeah, it doesn't matter.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
Twenty four hours, bro. In our day and age, there's
no way the show would make it past the first
doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
They should still have live voting Channel seven. I like
a live voting aspect Channel seven. They had to shut
down Big Brother. I'm speaking to the producers there, this
is where's the camera? Where do I look straight to
the camera? That was camera the barrel down the barrel,
Channel seven. I promise you you will make money if
you bring back the O G big brother.
Speaker 3 (17:03):
Let us vote.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Why don't we?
Speaker 3 (17:05):
Why don't we do it?
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Why don't you and I? Let's let's come out with that.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Yeah, with your two fifty yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Two fifty large on a TV.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Show reinvest it.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
We're in a shitty little room, just you and me
making this.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
All grace cast you you'd be yeah, Grace, you'd be
in I don't know.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
If I would be.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
You would be like you would definitely be a box
ticker US three at all box tickets.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
What would be? What are the boxes that you have
to tick?
Speaker 2 (17:33):
Okay, white girl, black boy, idiotic, blonde.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
The hippie.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
Yep, you are really you're a groovy.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Yeah, like hippie hipster, hipster.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
H hipster. That's right, Yeah, yeah, that's what I mean.
Speaker 3 (17:51):
That like, Yeah, you'd be like that.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
Yeah right, Well other boxes are boring as batship person
because they.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
As on that. I didn't actually when when putting in
my application, I didn't realize how important your story was
in getting picked, Like I just I told my story,
right of course, and I thought I was like, yeah,
I've had a pretty interesting life and I've obviously had
my fair hardships throughout it. But I didn't know that
that was probably the reason. And everyone listening your story
(18:21):
is the reason you get picked, Like you're saying, till.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
This mine yours would okay? Well yeah, Mars, just okay,
just explain yours first. You have a far better story.
You played basketball in New York, You've gone to Pepperdine,
you wanted to make the NBA. You have an American
soccer player girlfriend. You unfortunately lost your mom when you
(18:47):
were young. For some people, a story matters, but.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
Like you filled a role, is what I'm trying to
get at. Yeah, but hold on, let's let's go back
a little here till do you remember the night you
actually applied?
Speaker 2 (18:58):
Wait, I just want to read this quickly. It's grace.
Grace has ridden us for reference. Everyone listening like a
run sheet, and.
Speaker 3 (19:08):
What have I done?
Speaker 2 (19:08):
And it goes, why did you want to go a
big brother? I wrote money Challenge and clout. I was
waiting for Marley to bring it up.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
So good, you genuinely do want to go on for
cloud though.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
I didn't fully didn't even accept any social media deals
after it. There is a message me fresh after the show,
Mermaid Hair messaging me being like, hey, we'd love to
do a deal. I said, sorry, just wanted to go
on the show for fun. Didn't want to be an influencer,
fully declined. Probably what would have been like five thousand rows.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
Yeah, and guys, can I just can I just trace
trace your your your memory back a little? This again
was just before Tilly put the freckles in her face.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
This is putting.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
It's all connected, it's all overlapping.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
Yes, go back and listen to that episode two.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
Okay, So what we've got so far is it's important
to think about, like before you even start the audition process,
think about like your story, your and like what character
you're bringing to the show. Right, is that what you're saying, Molly, Like,
it's important to think.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
About what role really important be specific with exactly, Yeah,
the role that you're going.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
To get work.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
Think of yourself as an advertising piece. When their casting
directors come to me, how will they advertise me? I'm
pretty sure I said it to them. I said to them,
if you want to advertise me, I'm the dumb blonde.
But I said, put a twist on it. I was like,
I've done your job for you, and were.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
You doing that within your application process? Because for me,
it was ten thirty at night. My family friend literally
just sent me the link to you know, apply for
Big Brother twenty twenty one or whatever. And I was
sitting there at ten thirty night at night during COVID,
just dicking around, couldn't even care, and I'm just like
typing away at answers that like were absolutely ridiculous, you
(20:58):
know what I mean. I was like, there's no I'm
going to get chosen to be my brother.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
In what way? Were they ridiculous?
Speaker 1 (21:04):
Oh? It was like they were probably asking me thirty
or thirty to fifty questions.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
I'll give you a question, Marley. Yeah, go on one
of the questions. Because this is why you can be
ridiculous because it takes so long. It says, name three
people dead are alive that you would have invite for dinner?
Yeah yeah, and you can write like I remember my
answer said Donald Trump, an alien, and Paris Hilton. So
(21:30):
that's why you can say, shit, yeah, you were all alive,
but that's why Marley said true.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
And they're like, yeah, dumb blonde.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
Aliens alive. We believe in aliens obviously.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
Just like writing down ridiculous answers to these questions. It
was just a bit of fun for me, right, and.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
And it probably grabs their attention.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Well, I think that's exactly right, Like use that moment
to like, yeah, grab someone's attention because they're going through
how many people applied Tilly fifty.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
Oh more than that, it was like eighty six.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
Eighty six thousand. There you go, eighty six people we got.
That is so crazy sifting through all of these applications.
So say something crazy and wacky that's going to grab
their attention. You know what I mean. You can't be boring.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
But that's why I say your destiny in life is
already chosen. Like if you you're just you were already
getting on the world knew who was going on. If
you go in knowing that you're on, when you're in
your auditions and everything, it makes a massive difference because
I'm like, oh, I'm on, so I don't care what
I say or what I do. Like because in every video,
(22:35):
like in every interview, I was just cocky and like
new or actually I wasn't even cocky, Like I was
cocky in my head, but like in real life, I
didn't overact or do anything ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
You were just being relaxed.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
Yeah, I was just calm and I was just doing
my thing.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
I want to hear. Do you do you recall your
audition tape at all? Till I can't find mine anywhere?
Do you have yours?
Speaker 2 (22:55):
Say? No? Well, I actually messaged one of the producers
ages ago and said, can you get that to me?
Speaker 3 (23:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (23:01):
I message Kate Laura smile.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
You should do that.
Speaker 4 (23:05):
You should do because in this episode, everyone, we're going
to be playing Tilly's audition tape and then like kind
of reviewing it.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
You two can review it as we go.
Speaker 4 (23:14):
So it's actually good that I live under a bit
of a rock when it comes to reality under Boulder.
I live under the sea, like there is no daylight.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
I live there with you.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
Come down.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
The water's warm, the white is fine, all right.
Speaker 4 (23:31):
So, as we listen to this, if you pause in
key moments so you can reflect on what you think
you did well, or what you'd advise people to do
differently or whatever.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
Yeah, I think that'd be really okay.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
I am nineteen here, I am now nearly twenty five. Whoa,
don't come already, don't come out. I am not associated.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
I cannot wait.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
I cannot be held accountable for my past.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
I can How we start?
Speaker 3 (23:58):
I'm so excited.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
Okay, oh it already, pause it already. If you think
you're going to grab someone's attention, I mean, I guess
that's the best way to do it.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
So did I not?
Speaker 1 (24:13):
Yeah? Well, they were like, what is wrong with this girl?
Is she being attacked by something?
Speaker 2 (24:17):
Look at the Look at the video. The raddiest thing you're.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
With a cha Molly, Oh my god, you and Tink screaming?
Speaker 1 (24:28):
All right, go continue.
Speaker 4 (24:31):
He's holding up her little cha Tink and she's screaming
into the camera.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Just I don't think it's also it's super cringe player.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
Stop what that's me growling?
Speaker 1 (24:52):
That was not you.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
To make things even I thought it was.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
They thought you were on dry that's why they chose you.
Speaker 4 (25:02):
Oh my god, Oh my god, it.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
Was oh thank god? All right, all right, all right,
all right, go on continue, guys.
Speaker 2 (25:10):
I'm literally like, oh my god.
Speaker 5 (25:12):
I'm I was like, oh god, how do I break
the ice but dogged and like the best screen.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
Wait wait, wait is this is this like fast forwarded?
There's no way that there's no way that it's physically
possible to talk. No, there's no way, Adam believe it
is it.
Speaker 5 (25:27):
Is anyone, Like, that's my gameplay. I'm going to act
all dumb, but liking here.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
I've got it going on. Like, Okay, so I said,
I've got a really high.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
Atar, which you did. I don't know, I don't know how.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
Yeah, he was the truth. And then I said, but
I mean you could. You could easily lie. It wouldn't matter.
But I said, so I'm gonna act all dumb, but
and I look dumb, but in here, I've got it going.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
So you're already telling him, You're almost giving him some
insight into your game plan already. Right, that's pretty good.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
That's pretty good.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
Alright. This is basically a video of me reviewing myself
on YouTube. If you want to watch the whole thing,
it's our train wreck YouTube. But now it says I'm
not going to win challenges like I'm saying my gameplay,
so you need to say, like they want to know
how you're going to win their show. They want to
know that you watch their show and that you actually
aren't taking the piss.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
I said I was going to win every challenge. Well,
you know what, it wasn't actually me trying to really
sell myself. That's genuinely why I wanted to do the show,
was because I thought I'd be almost a challenge beast.
That wasn't the truth of the matter.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
But yeah, you're an athlete, bro, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
That's that's that was my pitch. I'm athletic. I'm going
to dominate these challenges. Guy, almost, that's not me. Yeah.
And as much as much crap as I'm giving till
about her intro and how just cracked she is, I
was also and I and I wrote down here that
it's really important to just be as enthused as you
can and like overly excited, right, that overly annoying facerbate it. Yeah,
(26:53):
you have to you have to act excited and like
you want to be there. Yeah, you feel like a
bit of a bit of a swat, to be honest,
but you've got to play the game from the jump, right. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (27:03):
Okay, Oh my god, I just can't stop thinking. Okay,
I love animals. It is just so cute I don't
know what to say, says with conspiracy. Seriously, I'm so
scared of goes. I hate gross. Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
Okay, it's just sounding like a dumb white girl.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean, and there's just I
can't get over it. Grace. You have to be on
board with me here. There's no way that that was
her real voice. Not better are you listening as everyone?
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Honestly? Because I like wrote down what I needed to
include in four minutes, so I like how to speed it.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
But that is the thing.
Speaker 4 (27:38):
I mean, I'm impressed that someone is able to physically
speak that fast, but in terms of only having three
minutes to work with, you're making the most of the
real estate.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
So I guess it more more than most. Yeah, just fit.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
Half an hour into Yeah.
Speaker 2 (27:53):
Also, you know what I made it look like. I
was like, oh my god, I don't know what I'm saying.
I'm trying to fit this all in three minutes. I
made it well, look like that was my first turn,
but it was not.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
Yeah that how many times? How many turns did you take?
Speaker 2 (28:07):
I would have taken so long.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
So you were saying, like, oh, I don't know what
to say. Here's my dog, I like ghost out of that.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
Oh, and it was this is literally your fourteenth yeah, dude,
nice like it was one and done, like you're nice
in front of the camera like that.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
You know.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
Yeah, but yours Mary, to point out, mine is one
video recorded for three minutes. Mary was yours, not a
bit chopped up and clipped around and had a few.
Speaker 3 (28:32):
Things in it.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
Well, you know what I think it was, yes, because
I remember when I did my first couple of rounds,
and I remember like I was orchestrating almost a scene.
I was in my room and then I like walked
through my house as I was doing it to try
and keep it engaging, and like as I was saying
the things that I needed to hit, and then I
like walked outside to where my dad's shed is where
he makes all the clothes. And then because I got
(28:53):
Dad involved really really like early into my video, because
I wanted to talk about, you know, my family and
who I love and why I want to do this.
I think that was the biggest plan of attack for
me when making my audition clip.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
Is like why you want to win?
Speaker 1 (29:08):
Yeah, showing them exactly why I want to win, because
they want you to have you know, a real heart strength, Yeah,
a genuine They want to have a genuine reason because
they know with that they'll be able to pull the
most out of you when it comes to getting on
the show as well.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
Yeah, when they put you on, they definitely put you
on wanting you to be like somebody that people would
want to win. Yeah, right, Like they wouldn't have watched
my thinking that, but.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
Is something to be said for they would also be
looking for a villain or like for of.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
Course they had plenty, they had plenty, yeah, right, Like
some people.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
I believe said in their audition videos that they'd want
to be the villain.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
Really, yeah, that's exactly how they sold their cell themselves.
And Ari was one of those guys on there that
that he admitted to us that he did that again
he I think he was one of them. And for
everyone listening, guys, yeah, literally, that's the selling point, right,
and then then you have to kind of play that role.
Of course, that's another reason you don't want to lie
in your audition tape because if you then become a
(30:07):
different person in the game.
Speaker 4 (30:08):
Right, It's like, if you say you're going to be
a villain, you've got to be ready to be yes.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
But and I was going to say as well, don't
get down on yourself. If you do audition for anyone
listening that actually wants to and you don't make it
the first round, like go again the next year and
the next year again, they may have just already filled
that role.
Speaker 4 (30:25):
Moly, that is a great enough that applies to life.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
It does.
Speaker 3 (30:29):
If you don't get it the first time, try and
try again.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
It's true you'll look desperate, but you, guys.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
Auditioning for big Brother is just an analogy for auditioning
for life.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
It is true.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
It till you make it your.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
Resume in a video.
Speaker 4 (30:44):
Yeah, okay, Tilly, let's hear some more of this video.
Speaker 2 (30:47):
Okay, like the messiest person ever.
Speaker 5 (30:50):
It's kind of gross, but then I have really bad
if someone leaves their way on the toilet, disgusting.
Speaker 3 (30:59):
Keep it going.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
I'm skipping through my stuff because it's me talking.
Speaker 4 (31:04):
You can actually just leave it playing and I'll chop
out the bits of you.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
No, we won't, Okay, So, like, I.
Speaker 5 (31:11):
So really arrogant, but I'm like, actually not arrogant. I
come from a really humble background. But yeah, I don't know,
just I would love to be on Big Brother that
that was really cringe. But I want to start this
video again, so yeah, that's the only thing to someone
talk about themselves like I so really arrogant.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
But you were playing that card like I am the yeah,
the dumb blonde, like you know, that's just it seem
crazy and says it how it is. And then you
came in and you rocked that whole damn house. Dude,
that's it.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
That's yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
And I have a good day, have a good day,
you know what. I think that's why they chose you
have a good day.
Speaker 4 (31:49):
Have a good Someone really needed to hear that that day.
Whoever was reviewing the eight hundred thousand autition tapes was like,
you're the only person.
Speaker 2 (31:59):
Yeah, watching that back, but that's the cringes here.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
That would have killed. I gotta find out, I gotta
find mine, I gotta find mine and I and I
want us to listen to it so you can. Yeah,
it wouldn't be as bad as that. I won't lie.
That was that was crazy. But I'll tell you what
was crazy. Right after that was sent through my whole application,
because that's a part of your application. Is that three
minute video? How long did it take tilly for you
(32:22):
to hear back, because for me, I heard back and again, guys,
I'm going to put you in my seat. It was covid.
I'm literally every night playing Call of Duty till four
am with the boys. I wake up in the morning
at like probably eleven am, there's nothing to do, and
I get an email after applying for one of the
biggest shows in Australia, literally the next day saying that
we love you, we love your story, and we want you.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
To have a meeting.
Speaker 1 (32:45):
We go, we want you to have a meeting with
the head producer at the end of the week. So
I essentially was like, like I don't know, maybe like
fast tracks right to the top. They were like, yep,
you're the one. You're filling this role. We love everything
about you. And I was like, I was thinking of
my head, what do you guys love? Because I was
just absolutely writing rubbish throughout that whole application process, you
(33:07):
know what I mean. So that was crazy till how
long did it take you to hear back?
Speaker 2 (33:12):
Well, this is it. I applied on Hungover on a
Saturday morning and then yeah, I heard back like that
week coming the coming week.
Speaker 1 (33:21):
There you go.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
That's kind of surprising. I thought it would take ages.
Speaker 4 (33:24):
But okay, So to wrap this up for people who
are thinking of auditioning for reality TV slash life, what
would be your top tips, your top takeaways learnings from
your experience as success stories who went on Big Brother.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
My top tip is fake it till you make it.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
Love it.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
It's true, Like, don't fake it that you wouldn't be
able to act it like that. Yeah, but like clickbait,
clickbait mates makes me money, and clickbait got me on
that show.
Speaker 1 (33:58):
Love that yeah, yeah, mine, be like stand out, like
in any form of capacity, Like use anything to stand
out and make yourself look different. Again, these guys were
going through eighty thousand applications, So whatever you can do
right away to grab their attention kind of like you're
talking about it tool with their clickbait, but like stand
out and be unique and make sure you be yourself
(34:19):
as well because you don't want to. You can fake
it till you make it, but only to a certain
point once you get in there. If you're not actually
that person, that's going to be pretty rough for you.
Speaker 3 (34:26):
You know, you know what I'm hearing from both of
your answers.
Speaker 4 (34:30):
I think it's like about enhancing who you are so
like the most like just making yourself a character of yourself, Like, yeah,
you might ham it up a bit, but you're not
trying to be someone you're not. Like Tilly, you were
so authentic, you were just the most like blown up
version of you.
Speaker 1 (34:47):
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
Hancy, you are become a character n spot on.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
All right, does everyone want a little train reck story?
Speaker 1 (34:55):
Yes? I would absolutely love one. It let's go, I'd
love to hear one.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
Go ahead, till this is just a short one. I
just thought this one was quite relatable. My tits burst
out of my new blouse as soon as I sat
down for an interview with three men. Wait wait, oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
Okay, sorry, Now I was going to say, first.
Speaker 2 (35:24):
Of all, I'd love to hear your opinion.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
Well, I was just going to say, an interview with
three men first off is just like very very you know, intense.
What kind of job are you going into that you
need three guys to interview you?
Speaker 3 (35:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (35:38):
Well, showed off the bat. I thought, of course, you
definitely got the job, but a case to go other ways.
The rest, she says, My options were acknowledge it by
buttoning up my blouse, potentially prompting an awkward conversation about
how everyone has seen my tits. Or ignore it, wrap
up the interview, scurry out and die.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
No, no, so what what option do you reckoll we
the first one acknowledge it? Well, it depends how much
you want the job, to be honest, I would acknowledge
it because you have to at that point. You have
to acknowledge the.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
Use the bathroom quickly.
Speaker 1 (36:15):
I'd just be like, oh, yeah, well, way to break
the eyes. Yeah, sorry about that, lads.
Speaker 2 (36:23):
Cities. Anyway, she says, I chose to ignore it.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
Good.
Speaker 2 (36:30):
One hour later, run outside, button myself up.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
Oh wait wait wait wait you mean ignore it? Isn't
just left it?
Speaker 2 (36:37):
Yes, anyway, she says, contemplated her new life on a
different continent. Continent did not get the job, but they
had a good one later. Oh my god, I forget.
Speaker 1 (36:54):
Sorry she couldn't help her so good. Wait, guys, no,
that is a t recod.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
Oh my god? Do you do you acknowledge elephants in
the room? I always feel like you should I do?
Speaker 2 (37:05):
I get secondhand embarrassed.
Speaker 1 (37:07):
Yes, Jillie does a good job at that too. Yeah,
I acknowledge him as well, you just tell your.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
Story really quickly. I know we're a long time.
Speaker 3 (37:14):
We were at this like.
Speaker 2 (37:18):
We were at like this twenty fifth party, Like I
don't know, while we're invited me and all my friends
twenty five, we were all like twenty one. Oh okay,
so anyway we were invited to this this party.
Speaker 4 (37:31):
I thought the same thing, mully sorry friend party to
my birthday party.
Speaker 1 (37:37):
We're all twenty five this year.
Speaker 2 (37:40):
Yeah, anyway, we were all of my friends. Yeah, it
would have been this one.
Speaker 3 (37:46):
Joy of missing out in case you everyone.
Speaker 2 (37:48):
Yes, okay, So we're at this party and the speeches
come on. None of us are close with this girl, like,
no one, So they are all right, speeches, speeches, everyone's
like ready for speech that everyone's standing like, so who's
that first? No one, no one, Like it was awkward
(38:08):
for like two minutes. I died of embarrassment.
Speaker 3 (38:11):
I get.
Speaker 2 (38:15):
I got up, gave it five minutes speech.
Speaker 1 (38:19):
You don't even know.
Speaker 2 (38:21):
I barely knew her, I barely knew.
Speaker 3 (38:24):
There wasn't a dry eye in the house.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
What kind of things did you say? I wouldn't even
know what to come off the top of my head.
Speaker 2 (38:30):
I was like, Wow, she's just such a nice girl.
So we're also grateful to be here twenty.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
Like five years of life.
Speaker 2 (38:37):
Congratulations.
Speaker 3 (38:38):
Oh full gave a speech.
Speaker 2 (38:40):
My friends still laugh about it to this day. You
remember that.
Speaker 4 (38:43):
I'm like, yes, why did I do?
Speaker 1 (38:46):
You drunk?
Speaker 2 (38:48):
Also, I was fresh off BBE so she was a girl.
She might have appreciated it. No, I was not. I was.
I think I was just only a few shots down.
But because if I was drunk, the awkwardness would bothered me.
But I was too sober.
Speaker 4 (39:02):
To be like, oh my god, you know what, someone
had to step up.
Speaker 3 (39:08):
Someone had to step up, and the girl did appreciate.
Speaker 2 (39:10):
And then after that everyone got up and did speetures.
Speaker 3 (39:13):
Yeah. I love that.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
Yeah, Wow, that's good.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
That's a great way to wrap that up. Yeah, guys,
we gotta we've gotta run out of here. Thank you
guys so much for listening. We love you. All socials
are all linked in the show notes as well. And
that's all I've got for today. You guys, got anything else?
Speaker 2 (39:27):
Get the road. Well, let's day
