Speaker 1 (00:11):
You're listening to a MoMA Mia podcast. Mama Mea acknowledges
the traditional owners of land and worts. This podcast was
recorded on Hi everyone, Jemma Bath here, host of True
Crime Conversations, coming to you from maternity leave. I had
a baby, and while I was supposed to be recording
this message to you all from the studio while still

(00:33):
at work, my little girl decided to come five weeks early,
and so here I am coming to you from my
house in my absence. The show is going to be
in the fabulous hands of my friend and colleague, Claire Murphy,
the host of our new women's health podcast. Well, Hi, Claire,
thank you so much for our filling in for me early.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Jemma Bath, your child's arrival could not have come at
a more inconvenient moment. But I'm very, very glad to
be stepping into your shoes because we all know how
much I bloody love True Chrime Conversations, one of my
favorite podcasts in the world, So thank you for letting
me handle it while you're away.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
My absolute pleasure and my absolute apology from me and
my daughter for making you start a whole month earlier
than planned. Yeah to all the listeners you will have
heard Claire Murphy on the show before. She covered for
me during some of my first maternity leaves. She's covered
the Crimes of Lucy let be which was one of
our most downloaded episodes to date, The Butcher of Begat's

(01:31):
name a few. She's an absolute pro and as she
just told you, well, she's a huge fan of crime
and interviewing and all things.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
TCC I am. And as much as yes, we are
a whole month ahead of time, the beauty of knowing
that you're going on maternity leave is that you, Jemma Bath,
had laid some very good plans and you and our
producer Tarlie had put in a ton of work to
try and make my life easier. Sit down and do
a bunch of conversations already, So you're not going to

(02:01):
disappear entirely from true crime conversations. There's still a few
of these great conversations that you've had with people to come.
And then I will slowly take over as Jemma hangs
out with her gorgeous new little very early, very impatient arrival.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Yeah, so you'll hear me sprinkled throughout the year, and
then I will be back in twenty twenty six, and
I will not be having any more babies, especially early.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Are you sure you're too and done too and.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Done too and done, I'm too and done good to
know so. Thank you so so much, Claire, and I'll
speak to all the listeners soon.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Good luck on maternity leave, friend.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Thank you,
