live on the Free.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
I heard a would Row very excited to say Laura
Henshaw is back in the studio with this here who
and officially pregnant, officially pregnant as opposed to unofficially pregnant
last time. That that was the thing, was that it
last time you were in you were like, guys, I'm pregnant,
but we can't talk about it.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
We were like, Okay, no worries.
Speaker 4 (00:35):
I couldn't you and not tell you?
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Yeah, I think it's the most professional thing we've ever done.
Its radio hosts though, we were like ticket so excited
about the fact that you were pregnant before turning the
microphones on, and then we had to get this through,
this whole conversation with you pretending like you weren't pregnant.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
Yeah, it was impressive.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
I think we got through it well.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
I think Oregon you almost slipped up at one point, though, Will,
because you were in for the push up challenge.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yes, I reckon for the last chat.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
And then I think Will you said it'd be great
if you get to push ups for us, you know,
but if there's any reason why I mean, no.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
You do pushes, which is like this weird caveat Is
that right?
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yes, it wasn't like a roar eating challenge or something.
You could have been anything with us. Hey, So, Laura,
I was, I just got told then. So I've got
some audio here of you and Dalton finding out that
you were preggy.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
So have a listened to this.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
I'm not going to be pregnant though, I'm not going
to be pregnant. Oh my god, are you.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
That's dping in the shower. And by the way, it's
quite It really is a funny video. Dult just his
head poking out of the shower holding a.
Speaker 4 (01:45):
Shaver, and our shave. Our shower is also you have
to step down a meter to get into it. And
so everyone was messing. People were writing like, is your
husband kneeling in the shower shaving you? Is he half
your height?
Speaker 3 (02:00):
He really got set up. It does look funny, he said,
I was. I was saving my books.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Why didn't he get out of it? You can't go
half unshaved.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
So, Laura, why why were you so sure that you
weren't going to be pregnant. Why was it such a
surprise for you to get the positive results.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
We weren't trying like I was in preparation for the
London Marathon. We had spoken about we went on this
journey which we've spoken about before and if I wanted
to have kids or not, and decided that we did
want to have kids, but we thought we would probably
start trying towards the end of the year. Like didn't
feel like it was the time yet, and I had
missed my period and Dalton was like, oh, I reckon,
you're pregnant.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
I'm like, no way.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
I was actually booked in for a laproscope mid May,
which is an operation where you kind of go in
and check that everything is okay exactly. So we just
were like, oh, we'll get the operation, see what's up,
Like if there's something because this feeling, it would be
really difficult for us. And so it was just such
a big shock.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
I've for a long time had this theory that the
sex that you have when a child is conceived effectively
do you get this feeling? I stand by it is
not everyone agrees to me, but it's just this like WHOA,
So I think something just happened.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Was there any level of that with this you will die?
Speaker 4 (03:28):
Okay? So it was a Friday morning quickie. I'm like
so type a, so regimented, like I'm like, I need
to get up into my routine, and I feel this
is I'm so embarrassed that I'm saying this, but it
is the truth. I put a timer on the time.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
What was the time? That was the time limit?
Speaker 2 (03:47):
What was I don't have time?
Speaker 3 (03:55):
What would have happened at three minutes? So if three minutes.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
So embarrassing, I have to say, I don't time? Did
you use?
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Was it like an egg time lightening it up?
Speaker 4 (04:11):
For?
Speaker 3 (04:11):
Was it on the phone?
Speaker 4 (04:12):
Phone? But it wasn't. When it counts down, it counts up.
So what, Lisa, alarm wasn't going.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
To go off?
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Tell me, tell me in front of you, look at me.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
If I feel like it's going to go over and
you had a minute, you had a minute to.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Something else, something else.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
I've only done it, I reckon in my life.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
I reckon.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
I've done that five times. But it happened to be
the conception of our child.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
So jeez, you're funny.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
And your question was no, that was her steering.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
In the kitchen, not on ji is that is a
great story, Laura, Jeez?
Speaker 2 (04:59):
How about adults and I mean he's under the poe,
isn't he done?
Speaker 3 (05:03):
What a set of terms?
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Yes, yes, we may make love, but you may do
it within three minutes.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
That is extraordinary stuff.
