Speaker 1 (00:10):
My Heart podcasts, hear more kids podcasts, playlists, and listen
live on the Free I had Friday follow up.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Right now, we're going back. Let's go back in time,
going back in time. It's not.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
All machine.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
We just we just had to follow up on the
call we received a couple of days ago about a
woman who is engaged to her step brother. So now
for her scenario, she hooks up with a guy and
then the parents get together after, so they kind of
become siblings after the fact. Yes, I'm probably more interested

(00:49):
with the other way around, because that I think that
gets real interesting. It's like, because your parents are together,
so you're already step siblings, and then you decide, probably
on a family holiday, hey we're not blood or you know.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
I think, yeah, it's the context for a very bad
adult movie. Sure, it's for me. It's unrealistic. I don't
think it's happened.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Well, hang on a second, Will, because the phones have
rung off the hook. Let's go to Madison here, Madison,
this was this is a story about your ex.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Yeah, yep, okay, talk to us.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Okay, So my ex and I separated two years ago
and I found out he was seeing someone and then
I've worked out that it's his stepsister, whoa.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
So just on what we were talking about before. So
the parents were already together.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
Parents already together and engaged yep.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
And then he's with you, he breaks up with you yep.
And you find out he's hooking out with his stepsister.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Yeah I did, yep. And now they've got a four
months old baby together.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Holy macaroni. And the parents are still.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Together, parents are still married.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
In one way, it's beautiful.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Do they all live in the Salmon beautiful thing?

Speaker 5 (02:09):
In one way?

Speaker 2 (02:11):
They're not crossing any lines there, No.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
No, they all live in the same town.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
But I don't know they all live in the same
town full on, I think, Madison? Might you know her
view might be slightly clouded by the fact that the
bed wasn't cold before the sister jumped in, But sure
potentially are you? Are you slightly upset about that? Madison?

Speaker 6 (02:30):
No?

Speaker 4 (02:30):
I was, but I don't care anymore.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
It's just right weird.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
You've moved on.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
You've moved on, Yeah, moved on, found something better reading?

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Good for you, Madison, ravo mate, And you can take
your something better along to the naked gun. Oh enjoy that. No, no,
the naked gun, the Lamnis in the naked gun. Yeah,
that wasn't a metaphor. Only in Cinema's Watch Out. Only
in Cinema's August twenty one. They can't get married the
step siblings. Now, you're a marriage cellar.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
That is true.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Where does that land with you? Justice of justice of
the piece?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
If her ex came to me and said, I would
like to marry my steps in Madison's X, yeah, step brother, yeah,
he said to me, I want to marry my stepsister. Yeah,
I'd have to decline. I'd say to him, I can
do a commitment ceremony for you. But this can't go legal?

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Mate? Why illegal?

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Why don't I don't make the law? Mate, you can
marry your cousin.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
A marriage.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
No, mate, I just read the rules and I and
I enact those rules because I'm a man by the book.
I'm a man by the book. Keep my license. Let's
go to Charmaine. Here, I've got a wedding coming. I
go to keep my license.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Hey guys, a little bit about this Charmaine. This is wild.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
I did not think we'd received so many calls. You
have got a similar story around, actually got two.

Speaker 6 (03:46):
I just actually just yeah, you just chopped my memory.
You hit me so twenty years ago, I'm thirty eight now,
I was eighteen, and not long after I turned eighteen,
I broke up with my boyfriend at the time. He
got together with my girlfriend's little sister. They were together
for a couple of months, and then our blue they
caught each other. They caught both their mums in bed

(04:08):
together morning and their mums are still together.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Holy, there's layers there.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Now, hang on, let's just like I wouldn't mind.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
I wouldn't mind you sketch to miss out, Charmaine. I'm
I'm lost.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
I did lose it a little bit, so, Charmaine.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
There's girlfriends, there's sisters, there's parents.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
There's your ex ends up hooking up your exit.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Sorry, Charmaine, is your exit guy a girl?

Speaker 3 (04:30):
A guy?

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Your male ex hooks up with a friend of yours
little sister. Yes, okay, So that's okay, that's okay, that's
totally fine.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
That's fine.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
But then one day these two people walking on both
of their respective mums hooking.

Speaker 6 (04:46):
Up, laying in bed together.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Wow, and they were both married at the time.

Speaker 6 (04:51):
No, no one got married. The mothers are still together.
The ex and the young girl split a few years later.
But on top of that, yes, my mom's ex husband
left my mum and married his first cousin.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
Oh, exactly just like those mothers did once upon a time.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
You can legally marry your cousin. As I was saying,
is that right, that's that's play on.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
I'm sorry, but that's that's crook. The birth, deaths and
marriage is obviously to have a hard look at themselves.
It can't marry someone who you're not related to that.
You can marry your cousin.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
And I'll do it, that's right, the right fee. I
would do it. That's right off, I would appreciate that.
I will support it.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Make me sick.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
It's easier on the you know, I need to invite
one side of the family, which is
