Speaker 2 (00:18):
It's well money.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
I hope you having a wonderful Friday afternoon.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
It's a very special show for us here.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
It is our EP Captain Poop Panther's final show with
after five years at the Helm. We have been making
him earn every single show. On the way out the
door though I thought he could check out, but he's
been in the studio every day this week trying to
complete another heinous challenge or task. Just so, I mean, really,
(00:44):
you didn't have a reason. We have no reason at all.
There's no reason.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
I was about to justify something, but there's nothing.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
It just really is your suffering and everyone's enjoyment.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
I have enjoyed and I think people have loved it.
It has been funny laughing at you. Yeah, you so
right now is your final task. You've got a few
things in front of you.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
There, you got a four being mixed, a walkie talkie, YEP,
tennis ball.
Speaker 4 (01:06):
It squeaks, doesn't screwge driver that's great, and Tim tam flavored.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Mocker powdered mocker. So what's what's in your mind?
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Now as to what you are potentially about to do.
Speaker 5 (01:25):
First thing that came to my mind, this is a
walkie talkie. Walky talkie comes in twos, whereas the second
walkie talk No, and.
Speaker 6 (01:31):
That's why you've been in for a while.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
That's just brains. Yeah. Obviously.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
The second thought was the balls.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Squeaks, Sherlock homes. You've been a detective.
Speaker 5 (01:50):
You could eat the full bean mix. You could.
Speaker 6 (01:52):
It wouldn't be nice.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
That would be awful.
Speaker 5 (01:54):
It wouldn't be nice.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Sorry, you haven't said the brands, So no, that would
be awful quite like.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Full bean Mix. That's from my desk anyway. Do you
want to tell him what he's doing?
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Yes, okay, so we have brought you in here for
your final challenge. Do not give you a challenge at all?
Speaker 5 (02:10):
Actually, no, I don't do this.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
We do actually just want to say some nice things
about you.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
He doesn't want it, but he's going to get it, which.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
We did say.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
It is funny, we said, we said before the song there,
but we were like, you're probably gonna hate it.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
We put a pier on him because we were like,
you might get shit.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Yeah, we said before the song, you're probably gonna hate
this one of the most and that.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
Was true, because yeah, you're a very you are a
very modest guy. So I know that.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Hearing very nice words said about you is tough. I
think that speaks to how awesome the person you are.
So I mean, mate, five years, I mean it's far
from a work perspective. You've obviously done an extraordinary job
with this show, and you know, I think we both
(03:05):
consider ourselves very lucky that we still have this job.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
And I think a big part of that is where
you took this show.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Yeah, yeah, but I think we're in a ditch five
years ago and you came on board not knowing really what.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
You hadn't done the job before.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
I mean, you had a little bit of experience obviously,
but you know, and then you took it with both hands.
And jeez, we've we have had a we've had a ride,
we really have. We've had some very very tough times,
and we had to scrap really hard early on. But
I think everyone listening to the show, if you have
listened to the show over the last five years, you
would have you would have heard a much different show
(03:44):
now than what it was. And that's really because of you, Right,
So thank you.
Speaker 5 (03:48):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
This is gonna be very difficult.
Speaker 5 (03:56):
Thank you like so much. It means a lot about
a great time and it's been awesome.
Speaker 6 (04:07):
Yeah, and it's it's I feel very lucky to have
worked with you guys and with everyone here, and yeah,
and I will miss you greatly. Yeah, and I'll always
I'll always listen and I'll always be your biggest fans
(04:29):
and advocates because you do the work in the right
way and you do great work. And I'm really proud
of you and proud of everyone works on this team.
Speaker 5 (04:43):
And yeah, thank you very much.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
It's that means there's the work part of it.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
There's also that the friendship part of it, which is
really hard and like it's kind of hard thinking about
rocking up to work on Monday, isn't it?
Speaker 2 (04:55):
And you know, and you're not going to be here.
I know that we can. This friendship will go on
obviously between all of us.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
You get so close when you work on a show
so much, and you go through some really hard times
together and you go through really happy times together, and
it's just it is a hard thing to think about
coming to work on Monday and just going like, ah,
you're not going to be here.
Speaker 5 (05:20):
I will miss that a lot. Yeah, yeah, I'll have
that time feeling.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
We're only going to miss it because we loved it
so much. Mate. Yeah, it's a beautiful thing.
Speaker 6 (05:28):
Yeah a hundred.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Yeah, it's been really good. So thank you so much
from us, from the team and from everyone that listens.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
Yeah, thank yeah, yeah, thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
For man and good luck with whatever you're doing. We won't.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
On a high point, squeak. We've got a little bit
of audio to play you.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
So obviously for a lot of people listening to the show,
we've just referred to you as Captain poop Pans.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Yeah, like I'm gonna say.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Four years, probably four of the five years referred to
as Captain poop Pans, which I'm gonna be is the boss.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
The biggest piece of fee that the show would get.
When you know, we're a couple of lads and we
just started shortening it to poo. He would just send
messages in going who is.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Who is?
Speaker 2 (06:20):
But there is?
Speaker 3 (06:21):
It wasn't just a random thing. So there was a
reason why we called you Captain Poopan. So I think
I think we've got some audio. I think of the
moment it was that the birth, the crowning moment, the
name captain, So I don't ed keeps spare jocks in
his car, the brand block just in case he puts
himself I imagine anyway, go on with.
Speaker 6 (06:45):
And still there, I think.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
I take him to the next.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
I don't think. The good thing is that radio is
a pretty small little community, so it's a very good
chance that the name will the next job, which is
a gift, a parting gift I mentioned.
Speaker 5 (07:08):
I was thankfu
