Speaker 2 (00:15):
I had a hell of a story here, which I
think we're all interested in. Graham Norton sharing his worst
guest ever, whoa hell to have on the show He
is described it as whoa Yes, yeah, you want to
know everyone wants to such a nice guy well known
(00:37):
as industry nice guy Graham.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
So obviously whoever this person is will never be back
on their show again.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Are they a grade? Yes? Who is it? Mark Wahlberg?
I've spoken to Mark and you. You also had a
rough time with Mark. Had interaction with Mark. Yes, you
were on the red carpet pretty fleetingly. We need to
say that we could have said. I also had to
sit down. He could have, he could have avoided, to
(01:02):
be fair.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
In fact, it was probably nice with Mark to stop
and say something into the microphone that you're waving in
his face of people.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
I in front of some shopping center in Western So
I had allocated time with the burger.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
I flew into State for the chat, and I found
out when I got there that the burger is going
to be late. So it's we're going to do the
chat on the carpet now, so that was a that
was a hit. And then my impression of Mark was
that he just took himself very seriously and didn't didn't
(01:34):
want to make light of anything effectively, like like, I
can't exactly remember what I.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
Asked him, but I think you asked him about like.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
I think I think I said what the Because the
thing is, I went to a screening of effectively a
trailer of the Transformers movie and he was in that,
and so I literally I flew into State to go
and watch five minutes of a film, and it was
just this big tease effectively, and I was like five minutes.
You know, you've got this five minutes now to really
show people what this movie is, what this movie's about,
(02:03):
It's going to be a hard task. What's the most
impressive thing you've done within five minutes kind of thing?
Speaker 3 (02:08):
And then he's great, Christ, thank you one of the best.
And then he somehow started talking about God. Yeah, he's
big on God. Yeah yeah yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Then children came up, and I was like, not sure
if answered the question, but.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Makes for you get on your make he was going
to get in the plane and fly the five hours.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
He's going to take that forty five seconds of audio
and give that to my boss. He just yeah, he
just wasn't And I tried to make lie it was
and I remember it.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
Actually do remember that vivid like he really was quite dismissive.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
Look he rocked up completely hammered to Graham Norton.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Oh, Graham Norton didn't know that until a little while
into it, because they can drink on Graham Norton, Yes,
one of the Graham does he Grahame does.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah, yeah, it's.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Funny Gilling and Graham doesn't seem right anyway, No, Graham does.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Graham drinks.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
But he didn't realize that Mark Wahlberg was that drunk
until sort of fifteen minutes into the show. Michael Fassbender
was on the on the Red Couch as well. Yeah,
he's in the middle of his anecdote, and Grahamond was like, oh,
this one's you know, it's been quite on the show
having Mark, you know, drunk this whole time.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
So thank god, he's quieting down.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
A little bit and he looked over and he's like, well,
I wonder why you know this story is a good
story about Mike fast Bender's tellinghim. But he looks over
at Mark Warburg and he was asleep, No way, fell asleep, passed.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Out during Michael Fastbender's story.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Disrespectful anyway, he's a little bit of Mark Warburg hammered
on Graham Norton.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
People to drink alcohol and come on a show.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
One social that's a social f it's.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
A recipe for a disaster.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Anyway, I was thinking about some other wild guests that
we've had on this show. On my worst interview that
we've had on that is like, I'm not going to
use any names here, but there was We had a
particularly we had an interview with an actor once that
went for a very very very long time. Yeah, probably
forty five minutes. Yeah, and keep in mind, on you know,
(04:08):
on commercial radio, I've got to try and keep them
to sort of, you know, ten minutes if we can
have a song in between.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
That was tough.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
I was very excited to talk about themselves and yes, yeah,
you know yeah, and also like non sequitor angidotes, so
they didn't really finish anywhere. They actually had it around
the time time that Phillip Seymore Hoffman died, and he
told three stories about Phillips he more Hoffan in a row,
and none of them ended anywhere, none of them actually
involved an anecdote and actually involved an interaction with Phillips
moh Hoffman that was just kind of like seeing Phillips
(04:38):
more Hoffman across the room.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Yeah. I think they're a lovely person. They're lovely, lovely,
lovely person. Yeah, yeah, I really like them. Old name
a name Rammy Malick. Wow, I just you're not him. Yeah,
that is fair.
