Speaker 2 (00:17):
What do you hope You're having a brilliant trive home Woods.
Baby has arrived, little Murphy, beautiful little girl. Now we're
just talking about the moment. I'm gonna get you right
there with so you can have no more preamble and
or context. So you already have a little girl, Remy,
and we're just talking about the moment where Remy met
Murphy for the first time.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Yes, so this was four hours after the birth, so
we were really keen on Remy getting to meet Murphy
as soon as possible. Yep, just you know, just because
you know, she's she's part of it, she's part of
the family, so right, and we were just we were
both just so excited about that moment to bring Remy in.

(00:55):
And Remy was she very She's three years old. She's
very aware of the fact that the baby was in
the tummy and a baby was coming. And when we
facetimed her straight after the birth, she was like, the
baby's here, and she ran, she ran around in the
circle and said, the baby's here, and my baby's here,
and she was Dean, which is really nice. And then
a little girl as well, didn't she from the from
the start, she was like, it's a girl. It is
a girl. Whole pregnancy, she did you know that you'd

(01:17):
had a girl or did you? But again this wasn't
a surprise. Her was like, of course it's a girl. Yeah,
I've known it's a girl the entire time. So she
danced around, and then then so Mims. She was with
MIM's mum at that stage, and she tried on four
different outfits before because she wanted to get the right outfit.

(01:37):
And then she came in.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Why is this so emotional for you? Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Mate, you wait until.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
You Hey, I'm asking was it emotional for you?

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Because so you have your first child and you just
you just can't imagine loving something so much. And then
you have a second child and again that love floods
you again. And then you see these two things that
you love more than anything, loving each other. Yeah, wow,
and knowing And as soon as so, as soon as

(02:09):
Remy So came into the hospital room, and she came
in with gifts because she wanted to give a present
to merv. You know, she was so excited to see
her and wanted to hold her straight away, which actually
was a bit of a worry, to be honest. You
was four hours old, and it was like, I don't
know if you can hold the baby, but you know,
you kind of know that there's this bond between you
two now and you two will always have each other's

(02:30):
backs and you will love each other so much. And
I don't know, as for me as a parent, I
saw that and it kind of like, not that I'm
going anywhere anytime soon, but I was like, you two
will always have each other, so even if I'm not around,
you two have got each other's backs. And I don't
know if that for me just made my heart explode.

(02:50):
And so at the moment where eventually so Remy was
really keen on holding little Mirth, So we kind of
set up just massive pillow forts around her and was like, yeah, no,
we trusted, we trug to just get in the middle
of that pillow fort, like well Andrew Murphy. And I
mean watching that was crazy. I mean Remy kept saying

(03:11):
it's my baby, which she hasn't really got around like
she has. I'm not sure she fully understands it, like
it's not her baby. Yeah, yeah, but to her it's
her Ba. She also calls the baby. Sophia refuses to
call the baby Murphy's was just like, it's Murphy. But
I've got a tiny bit of a tiny bit of audio.
I just did like a little video. This probably won't

(03:33):
even make sense, but basically Murphy was doing that thing
that babies do and just moving her hands around and
she kind of touched she touched Remy's face. Yeah, and
so this is Remy holding Murphy and Remy's reaction to that. Uncle.

(03:56):
This is pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Bottom line, it's awesome. That's got three girls at home.
I'm the luckiest man alive. Beautiful, it's it's it's awesome.
That's so good. I love you girls a lot. You're
probably not listening, but I think, well, I mean the
first and foremost though, like if you just tuned.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
In, by the way, what he is not dying. He's
just had a kid. I know it does sound like
he's uh.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Think about that. I don't want to go there, but yeah,
play some commercial radio, commercial radio, but my girls will
be fine.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
They will mate. You had a beautiful experience last night.
I'm so happy for you. It's got a brand new
little girl in the world. Her name is Murphy. Let's
talk about it more during the week. I also had
an equally transcendent experience last night, equally as emotional. Yeah,
there's gonna be some tears up next as well. What
