Speaker 1 (00:04):
The will M Woody podcast Snoop Doggy out Dog himself.
He's performing at the AFL Grand Final Saturday.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Yeah, he's doing a little gig as well. If you're
in if you're in Melbourne at the SB I think
is like, is.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
He really he DJ's unders not.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
He has a DJ name called Snooplicious or just great,
so he's going to DJ.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
He's completely sold out, but maybe try and get down anyway. Look,
he is performing at the AFL Grand Final this Saturday.
Teddy Swim's performing at the n L Grand Final next
week as well. So some huge international stars that are
in town for these massive gigs, performing in front of
tens of not hundreds of thousands of people. But I
was actually because there's been a lot of controversy around

(00:58):
Snoop playing at the AFO Grand Final and for lots
of different reasons, some of it very warranted. But he
I found out and this was leaked on another radio station,
so he apparently they didn't see in the small print
of his contract that he demanded a replica of the

(01:20):
stage that was going to be on the MCG on
Saturday to be built at Marvel Stadium separately. So it's
another stadium in Melbourne where he can rehearse his gig
before he actually takes to the field on Saturday at
the MCG brilliant. I love that side. I think that's
pretty cool, right, Like he comes across obviously, his whole

(01:42):
persona as a rapper, particularly Snoop Dogg, is that he's
completely blase a he doesn't really care, but he's effortlessly talented.
I always find it more impressive and I actually have
more respect for than when I find out that that's
all an act, because they actually do work really hard
to be without.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
One hundred percent.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
And when you look at him perform as well, like
he doesn't exactly have any curry. There's no choreograph dancing,
so you talk about not that you know, so you
know this choreograph dance is probably like very coolly walk
over here, yeah, stumble to my left a.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Little at the stage. Yeah, and he needs to practice
that strut forty five degrees drop shoulder right. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
But again, as you said, the skill is making it
look like you just you're just rolling with it.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yeah, just rolling with it. Yeah. So anyway, I thought
that was really really cool, but it did remind me
of people taking things far too seriously. That's that level
of preparation. And I've said, as a kid, because I
mean stoop Dog's a big kid, thirty one and six
five woods, you can relate.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Yea one hundred percent. So I'm a little bit ashamed
of this.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
But so this is year five or year six, so
we're talking eleven year old me. Okay now at the time,
pretty e late runner.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
I'm gonna be honest. That was good.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
So when I competed for school, just like the school
carnival or whatever, like, I dominated. So I won the
fifteen hundred to eight hundred to four hundred to two
hundred and one hundred, and then it gets to the
interschool thing where you compete against other schools. But a
day aud from the carnival, I walked up to the
teachers and I said, okay, guys, I've had to think
about tomorrow and I really just want to focus on

(03:11):
the fifteen hundred, so I'm going to have to pull
out of the eighth, the four, the two, and the one.
And the teacher started laughing and I was like, I
don't mean laughing about it, like I just I want
to be preparing for the fifteen hundreds my pet event,
and the teacher was like, this is just extraordinary.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
I've never heard anything like it.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
A twelve year old kid pulling out of events.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
To fok and then so I was warming up for
four hours for the fifteen hundred dead last, got absolutely pumped.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Let's go to Taylor. Taylor, what do you take too
seriously as a kid?

Speaker 4 (03:41):
I took ink poisoning way too seriously as a kid.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
What do you mean what do you mean ink poisoning
too seriously?

Speaker 5 (03:48):
You know, like when you're drawing yourself on your hands
and I said, don't do that because you'll die.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
So you thought you were going to die?

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Taylor?

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Yeah, genuinely.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
How much did you draw on yourself? Oh?

Speaker 6 (04:03):
Well, I was pretty I was in another world at school. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Yeah, they tell you're going to die, and it is
scary when when your parents tell you something like that,
like you know, dont before you swim or you're drowned
or whatever. One come on, mate, what did you take
too seriously as a kid, Amanda, Well, you answer my question,
that'd be great. What do you take What did you
take too seriously as a kid?

Speaker 4 (04:28):
I'm being scared of the dark. The dark to me
was a horror thing. Whatever I could to protect myself.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
You protect yourself from the dark. It's inevitable.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Hey, it's a five year old. You get all your
teddies and dolls and put them in your bed.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Yeah, that's very true. That's very true. Good one, Amanda.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Are your thoughts on night lights?

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:47):
You again with the night light.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Tries to but it keeps her up, So I'm against
it now I want to come back for you wards.
So again Yeah, well I've told my story. This is
you in a nutshell taking yourself too seriously as a kid.
You're also wanting to die as a five year old?

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Oh, come mate, that it's weird. Yeah I did, yeah
when I was five.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
So the hardest bit about that was that if it
was a kid's birthday in school, so I'm talking like
when I'm five, six, seven years old, that was my
worst nightmare because they'd bring ice creams or cake.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Yeah, and then I'd have to say that I didn't
want one. And for kids that was just like, what
what do you mean you don't want one? And I
was like, I'm just on a diet. Wow, Yeah, this
is all in training.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
This was in training. Yeah, you have a fifteen hundred
for in the years to come. We used to stop
at Maccas on road trips. Yeah, so like a family holiday. Yeah,
and they go, let's have Maccas and I'd be like,
not eating. My parents were just like, oh, can you please? Yeah,
just have a burger, Yeah, have the pancakes.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
I'm like, no, wow, that's wild cheese and letuce sandwiches
for a decade, yeah, every day.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yeah, look at me now they mate.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Thirteen one, I six'. Five you're a kid in the.
Car do you know what your mum and dad does for?
Work or more, Importantly i'd love for you to call
me if you don't know what they. Do if you're
a kid in the car and you don't know what
your mum and dad do for, Work i'd.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Love you to have a guest though as, well just
like based on what they wear when they leave the,
door and like little stories that you might overhear when
they're talking about their. Days what do you what do
you think they do when they disappear for eight?

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Hours, yeah my daughter just THINKS i go to the. Gym,
funny you were mentioning that they were to. Work so
the reason we're talking about this is because the hottest
couple in the world ace, Up Rocky. ORIANA i mean

(06:32):
just two absolute. Powerhouses there are three, KIDS i, think,
Yes i'm reading that. Right they've got three kids as.
Well they will be the most attractive babies.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
And cool and.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Talented i'd feel so out of my my cool comfort
in that in that, House like even the kids would
be cooler than. You you walk into that house as the,
children the children be a lot cooler than you immediately,
definitely LIKE i wouldn't say anything in that house general,
SPEAKING i was a. TRADE i just rock. Up, SORRY
i have to leave straight.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Away do the job, though because you know you're getting paid,
WELL i.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Reckon, SORRY i think the dollars and cents, there but
like if id that Is rihanna and Asap, Rocky i'm
tripling the.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Price it is. True i'm sure they're loock toilet for
in A.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Bucks i'm sure they're very. Successful, anyway they've actually spoken
about their kids because this is a fascinating, concept and
we were joking about the fact that our daughters don't
know what we. Do it's a hard. Thing max sometimes
says to me or she's the closest she's got to
it IS i talk in a glass.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Box oh, yeah yeah with, you, yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Which is as close as she's got to understanding WHAT i.
Do there's also this weird thing Where i'm on the,
radio so AND i think we've brought this up. Before
she thinks that's a personalized. Stream, yeah when she's in the, Car,
yeah she can my.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Voice it's like it's like her like big, brother but
only for my daughter. Inaudible there's no concept of going
out to millions of people around the.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Country, no that's, right millions of people listen to.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
This BECAUSE i don't even think she would have heard
it in the shop or anything like. That it's too
so every time she hears, it it's obviously her And sam,
listening AND i think she does just think it's her
own little personalized, feed which is. Funny but then that's
that's obviously a very hard thing to understand for a.
Kid but Acep rocky And, rhianna like their, kids have

(08:19):
no concept of how famous their parents. Are they have
no idea and more, importantly LIKE i, mean a lot
Of Asap rocky's music we obviously can't play, here but
very hard for kids to probably imagine trying to explain
to a three year old or probably when they're five years,
old what, like it's going to be very hard to

(08:39):
stop their kid from. Swearing Sat rocky, son he's gonna
be running his mouth off a. Kindergarten imagine him down
a parent teacher interview and being, like, sorry, mate the
kids dropping too MANY f. Bombs, yeah Acet rocky's, son.

Speaker 7 (08:50):
No right, back sat.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Right up my lesson. Late, yeah that's that's tough.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Chat and, also you're right as A sap trying to
like tell his kids not to say naughty.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
Words it's just like you're gone, There you're.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Gone you're doing. It it's morally, bankrupt isn't? He and
don't you look at? Me, rihanna bad, girl Re. REE
i found Your. Instagram, yeah they've got to lead it Off.
Instagram you were so. NAUGHTY i WILL i will do
WHATEVER i, want right. Right they're very hard kids to,
discipline no doubt about. That but As asap, said And
i'm quoting him from this interview he did with A,

(09:26):
GQ i need them to know dad is a rock
star and mummy is a rock star.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
TOO i have a similar thought in my.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Household it's just like at some POINT i want you
to know, that like some people know.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Me it's, funny is, that like it's really dorky for
parents to try and insist that they're cool to their.
Kids in fact that he's arguing with the dorkis think
it's why you know you have cool? Dad, yes tattooed
on your. ANKLE i think it's very. Lame your daughter
will think that's lame as, Well but it's interesting for,
Them like surely they will have a moment they were, Like,
Wow dad was, Cool mama's.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
COOL i still don't think because they're they're Seeing rianna
and asp at their. Works they're saying they're Seeing, asap you,
know going for his morning poop reading the.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
Newspaper.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
JOHN i mean, like we don't see we don't see
that aue. Cool we only see that that the, front you,
know stage. Them THEY i still Think Asap.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Rocky would be cool taking a poo reading the. Paper.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
Yeah somehow he pulled. Off, yeah somehow he pulled.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
In a lot of.

Speaker 1 (10:21):

that are in the cars out? There if you don't
know what your mom and dad, does and you want
to have a cracket trying to explain what they? Do

Speaker 2 (10:37):

technology but he's never told me what he. Does BUT
i definitely think he works on a computer most of.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
IT i take most jobs in some way involve a.
Computer so that's pretty. Broad what does he what does he?

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Wear to when he leaves the House, Sahara.

Speaker 6 (11:47):
He normally was just like a jumper now because it's
still cold a little. Bit he normally wears a, jumper
then like a BLACK t shirt or a WHITE t
shirt and then like.

Speaker 1 (11:57):

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Back, yeah it's good to have you.

Speaker 8 (29:54):
Here.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
Mate, WELL i actually BECAUSE i think you've got some
more interesting stuff going on in your lives than we do
about both. Children, yeah, yeah we've covered that. Now so
you won This big five marathon thing In South africa
and then after doing the, race you found out that
you were. Injured what was the?

Speaker 10 (30:09):
INJURY i found out eight k into the forty two
K i rolled my ankle and broke my cuboid bone
in my foot AND i had thirty four k the
best to go and Unfortunately i'm a bit of a loud.
Mouth so WHEN i SAID i was going to try
to break the, record and by the TIME i got
to the start, line everyone's, like, oh that's a. GO
i tryed to break the, record SO i had to
see the thing through to the end and ended up
breaking the record by thirty seconds and pulled through at the,

(30:32):
wind but not the broken record and a broken foot
as a.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
Prize so so so for the normal human being out,
there if you do the injury that you, did what
was it sorr broken.

Speaker 7 (30:43):
Cuboid, yeah it's like a floating bone in the.

Speaker 3 (30:45):
Foot what would the?

Speaker 1 (30:46):
Recovery what would the recovery be for someone like me
IF i did?

Speaker 10 (30:49):
That oh it is it's an instant eight week in
like six weeks in a.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
Boot, yeah so for most people it's eight weeks in a.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
Boot you decided to keep going for thirty four more
ks in one Of it's one of the hardest marathons,
run isn't.

Speaker 10 (31:00):
It, yeah it's very, Hard like the terrain's pretty nuts
like it would. Be, yeah you've got a three k unrunnable,
hill soft sand, form about twenty k animals.

Speaker 7 (31:08):
Around, it the fear of a lion being around any.

Speaker 10 (31:10):
Corner but, yeah it WAS i felt it immediately AND
i was, like, OH i should be able to run on.
This and my rule is if it's not, broken you
can run on. It and it was, broken AND i,
thought it's not. Broken it's not, broken SO i should
be able to run on.

Speaker 7 (31:21):
It as soon AS i.

Speaker 10 (31:22):
Stopped twenty minutes, LATER i was, like this is definitely Broken,
jesus and limp my way home and got AN mri
twenty minutes off half forgot off the plane and.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
It was it was broken.

Speaker 10 (31:31):
US i think we can keep those comments to ourselves, well.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
So we are going to continue that trend of you're an.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Idiot so the other thing you've done in the last
year is so you were trying to stay up your
legs a bit like you did The Big big five, marathon,
obviously BUT i know that the body has been beaten
from pillar to.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
Posts so you, went you, Went i'm going to do
another endurance.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
Event i'm going to ride my bike for twenty four
hours straight prior to.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
That are you a?

Speaker 3 (32:01):
Cyclist?

Speaker 7 (32:02):
No, no, No SO i DID i Ran. LONDON i
say it, again, yeah, idiot, Idiot.

Speaker 10 (32:10):
NO i AS i broke my FOOTS i was allowed
within the parameters of the injury to ride AND i,
Said i'm all good to. Ride they, said, yep you can,
ride ride as much as you, like AND i, went,
well it's twenty four hours in a, date so let's
let's do laps Of Centennial. Park got about seven hundred
and forty k done in the twenty four, hours which was.
Grimed BUT i loved, it loved.

Speaker 7 (32:26):
It don't say it's.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
It was hard for you doing twenty four hours straight to.

Speaker 10 (32:32):
Cycling it was, beautiful it was it was. Blessed it's
my favorite place to. Be it's where my head is
free AND i don't think about.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
It so it's. Intenct.

Speaker 7 (32:39):
Yeah, Nice only two hundred laps Of Centennial park two hundred.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
SO i do by grinde so an issue THAT i
have IF i.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
Like so IF i go for a ride over one hundred,
k's so that's a seventh of what you did in a.
Day AND i ride a lot to build up to
one hundred. K'S i struggle with saddle saws like your ass. Canes,
yeah how was the tour after seven hundred and forty?

Speaker 10 (33:01):
K a bit Of pete Murray s better? Days it.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Was all.

Speaker 10 (33:08):
RIGHT i, mean there's worse things going on in the,
world just you, know a bit a bit of chafe
between the old thighs and.

Speaker 7 (33:13):
Butt isn't too, bad is?

Speaker 1 (33:14):
IT i don't. KNOW i haven't, RUN i haven't ridden seven.
Hundred it's, fine it's. Fine there's way worse things Going
it's all.

Speaker 7 (33:23):
Good love the.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
ATTITUDE i love. IT i feel like there are so
many sites like there are psychologists that would listen to your,
talk that would just love to sink their teeth into,
you BECAUSE i, like how do you? Feel and you've
probably been beating them off with a, stick haven't. You
what's your relationship with? Rest?

Speaker 10 (33:40):
Oh the finitude of life makes me not want to? Rest, Okay,
Yeah AND i know that will change over time and priorities,
change but you cannot last through the. Future and that's
not Something i'm prepared to do and prepared to be
in the moment right. Now and if you've got twenty
four hours to ride a bike and you're allowed, to
then do. It so obviously a broken bone brings on
a limit certin amount of, training a limited amount of,

(34:02):
exercise and so that is a bit nali for someone
who can't sit.

Speaker 7 (34:05):
Still, yeah but it's.

Speaker 10 (34:07):
Been really cooks have been able to write and read
and actually like protize other. Things so it's been happening
outside of this, training which has been a really special.

Speaker 7 (34:14):
Thing AND i guess that's why that's why we're here.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
Today you are HERE mna ten four oh one club
at mightor ten dot com dot. Au so this is really,
about first of, all just recognizing some of the statistics
around trade's mental health as a result of their. Work
so might attend did this survey over eight in ten
of trade's have faced mental health. Challenges the one that
really scared me before was that one in five traders

(34:37):
admitted of experience sual side of thought as a result
of work related, challenge which is. Crazy AND i know
it used to be a sparky. One OBVIOUSLY i can.

Speaker 7 (34:44):
Imagine MAYBE i got. Shocked maybe that's what happened was
electrical belts can't turn it?

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Off is that you were a sparky when you were
you run a marathon every day fifty days when you
were a Sparking.

Speaker 10 (34:56):
Yes indeed in twenty twenty and THEN i quit six
weeks form a run across holes AND i haven't looked,
back But i'm very fond and proud of my days
as a trade and tradesmen and women are the backbone
of the nation in my. Opinion so, yeah this four
oh one, club it's an initue By might to ten
a minute after tools down where instead of you, know

(35:17):
getting off the tools and heading to the pub to
get on the, beers it's actually around moving the, body
chatting to mates and eating good food and trying to
and start conversation around.

Speaker 7 (35:25):
That so, yeah the idea is we've been able to
go around the.

Speaker 10 (35:28):
Country i've been In sydney last, Week adelaide yesterday And
melbourne tomorrow meeting that The might of ten going for
run and starting.

Speaker 7 (35:35):
Conversation oh.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
Beautiful so why do you think those stats around trades
are really really?

Speaker 3 (35:40):
Scary? Yeah why do you think trade is in particular
struggle with their mental?

Speaker 10 (35:43):
Health it's, complex BUT i would say a few. Things
trades men and women go into because they love the,
trade and then there's a lot of pressures that come
with running a business that have nothing to do.

Speaker 7 (35:52):
With your skills as a.

Speaker 10 (35:53):
Tradesman you go in and there's always complex around not
getting paid and delayed. Payments it's the only industry where
you go buy a server and they do, it and
then there's like a fourteen to twenty eight day pay
cycle back where like you, know you go Into, woolies
you buy your, thing you have to pay. Instant the
trades might be leveraging paying their trades and then not
getting paid by the, client and then there's all these
financial pressures and they might be out on other jobs

(36:15):
and it's just this this overwhelming sense of, Oh i'm
not doing.

Speaker 7 (36:18):
Enough i'm going to march And i'm behind the ape.

Speaker 10 (36:20):
And they're not even addressing and they're waking up and
they're constantly thinking about. It SO i think there's a
lot of stuff and cost living pressures are massive as.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
Well so is there a human nature to actually this?
Moment the other, day so we've got an Electrician, dan
if he's, listening great. Dude he's moved a number of
things around in our house for, us and, LIKE i
look at what he does And i'm, like, well, FIRSTLY
i just could never do, that but secondly it's bloody,
dangerous like being an electric as you'd. Know he gave
me the other day and he came we bought some
other bloke Called. MARK i mean the first THING i
always do is, like you, know shut the other guy's

(36:48):
handsake GOOD.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
O HOW i?

Speaker 1 (36:49):
Go And I'm, will this is my Daughter, max who's
notally running around at the. Time and THEN i say to,
him do you guys want like a coffee or like
a tear or? Anything and then like we have a.
Chat and he he said to me when he left
the other, day he was, like, oh thanks by the, Way,
Will AND i was, like well for and it was,
LIKE i don't, know it's just you, know you just
see good To mark and like cofering with tea and.
Stuff AND i was, like it doesn't like you're in my. House,
yeah SO i think it'd be weird IF i didn't do.

(37:09):
That and he was like, yeah but you don't realize.

Speaker 7 (37:12):
How little there is A, yeah he's normally it's just.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
Good how you. Going here's the. Thing and then even
if they're, working they're working from, home they ignore. Me,
Yeah SO i imagine it can be very.

Speaker 10 (37:22):
Solitary, well especially in that, too is like you might
go into a client's house and they're watching your every
move and not trusting what you're.

Speaker 7 (37:28):
Doing you're, like you've.

Speaker 10 (37:29):
Employed me for all my years of work to come
and do this, job and then you're asking because you're
paying the money to make. Sure it's, oh can you
do it? This so you can Do it's, like, well
why did you get? Me, yeah let me do that
complexity as. Well but, YEAH i THINK i think what's
really cool about this is that we're able to have
these conversations and share what's going.

Speaker 7 (37:45):
On and the whole point of this, is, Like i'm
Not i'm not a. PSYCHOLOGIST i don't.

Speaker 10 (37:48):
KNOW i don't know the complexities of mental, health BUT
i do know that if you move your, body eat,
good and chat with, mates you're like nine percent of
the way there with having a lot more clarity on this.
Situation so that's the whole point of this is to
work on your physical and mental, fitness for.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
Sure so a big part of that is using running
as a tool to help with mental. Health But i'm
going to play some, audio AND i know you're a
very upbeat, man But i've never heard you like. This
after the thousand, miles you're in a pretty rough spot
is you're talking to, us.

Speaker 6 (38:17):
Might not even be running. AGAIN i might just leave
running with a bit of a.

Speaker 1 (38:20):
Bank it's great to hear your. Voice love you, GUYS
i know you're in a dark and probably a bit
of a scary spot right, now and it phil it
feels a bit, empty but it'll get all the hell
of a lot better one. Day, mate get some. Rest
so much upside to come for, YOU i. Promise thank you,
BOYS i appreciate it so.

Speaker 10 (38:35):
Much, Yeah i'll get an emotional. NOW i remember that.
Clear it was like it was the day AFTER i
finished the thousand Mile. YEAH i don't Think i'll ever
in my whole existence the day BEFORE i. Drop you
can ask me what was the hardest Thing i've ever?
Done and that was that thousand mile. Run no matter
WHAT i do in the next however many, years it

(38:55):
is till that, moment it will be the hardest Thing
i've ever. Done but what IS i guess symbolic of
this is that you can always take another, step and
if you keep moving, forward there will be bright.

Speaker 7 (39:05):
Days so that's the whole.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
Point did you find it hard to because again this
whole thing is associating mental health with moving your body
and physical, fitness et. Cetera did you find it hard
to associate some level of positivity towards, running like after
the thousand miles, like how long did?

Speaker 10 (39:26):
THAT i don't necessarily running to, me. ISN'T i don't love,
it nor DO i hate. It running is just what
it is for. Me and so WHEN i do a
big event like, that and you could ARGUE i ruin
my relationship with, it BUT i don't because it is
merely just what it. Is and so the inability to
run was probably what affected me after, it BECAUSE i

(39:47):
was laying down and resting AND i just cooked my
body for a.

Speaker 7 (39:50):
Month but, yeah it.

Speaker 10 (39:53):
Didn't it didn't affect my relationship with it more than
it just hurts THAT i couldn't go and run BECAUSE
i love moving my. Body.

Speaker 1 (40:01):
Yeah so there a sense of Like I've i've pushed
myself too, far Like i've Ruined i've ruined the thing
THAT i. Knew i've ruined my, body which is the
thing THAT i need to sort of feel.

Speaker 7 (40:11):
GOOD i Knew i'd screwed it ten times too.

Speaker 10 (40:13):
Tight, yeah and that was the cost of doing an
enormous thing like.

Speaker 4 (40:17):
This.

Speaker 10 (40:17):
Yeah, Yeah And i'm not saying everyone should go do.
That i'm, saying you, know within, reason a moving body
for an, hour moviebody for twenty.

Speaker 7 (40:24):
Minutes, yeah that's the.

Speaker 10 (40:25):
Point but that that that that is a commitment to
your word and doing what you say you going to.

Speaker 7 (40:29):
Do, yeah it's very different to heading out the door
for twenty thirty forty minutes a.

Speaker 10 (40:32):
Day, yeah, yeah that is that Is it is, extreme very,
extreme and very publicly showing the world that we are
far more capable than we. Think if you're willing to
go to that.

Speaker 1 (40:43):
Place yeah?

Speaker 2 (40:44):
Cool AM i right in saying that you've had just five,
weeks just, recently five weeks off?

Speaker 1 (40:49):
Exercise? All is that?

Speaker 3 (40:51):
Correct more and?

Speaker 7 (40:51):
More about three?

Speaker 1 (40:52):
Months? Yeah three?

Speaker 7 (40:53):
Months, yeah just under three. Months SO i did that
twenty four hour ride and that's been it since.

Speaker 2 (40:58):
Now so how it's given all you're saying around HOW
i wrtant it is to move your body and?

Speaker 1 (41:01):
Stuff how was? That?

Speaker 7 (41:02):
Yeah very.

Speaker 10 (41:03):
Tough and that's WHY i can actually say with complete
confidence that if you don't move your, body your decision,
making your inability to understand, scenarios it's all greatly inhibited
by the fact you haven't.

Speaker 7 (41:14):
Cleared your head through physical.

Speaker 10 (41:15):
Movement SO i actually chose to not Because i'm trying
to get as fast AS i can in the, marathon
and in doing, so you can't have upper body.

Speaker 7 (41:24):
Weights i've been training, uppers and BECAUSE i.

Speaker 10 (41:26):
Have broken, LIMB i haven't been able to round a
bike or. Anything and SO i was, like why don't
you just sit with? It there will never be a
time in your life where you have to just sit in.
It and that was another, challenge was, like all, right
let's lean, in let's do.

Speaker 1 (41:36):
Nothing, YEAH, Whoa so did you replace it with?

Speaker 3 (41:39):
Anything, yeah like a lot.

Speaker 10 (41:40):
Of, writing a lot of, reading a lot of, nothing
like actually doing, nothing which is insane for. Me like
it was special And i'm forever GRATEFUL i had it
Because i'll be able to lean on that When i'm
back running and, go you know, What you've been through,
this you've been through, that it's. All it all makes
you and creates a more rounded.

Speaker 7 (41:57):
ATHLETE i think.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
Definitely did you have moments where you are like like
walking to the shops and you're, Like i'm just gonna
punch out a quick power walk or something to get
that just on?

Speaker 7 (42:04):
Clutches the majority of, yeah MAY i? CRY i cried a.
Lot crying is, important very, powerful and stopping is.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
Important stopping about rest Before But i'll leave that for
whichever psyche is lucky enough to get their hooks in.

Speaker 3 (42:17):
You i'd love to read your.

Speaker 1 (42:18):
JOURNAL i, RECKON i don't.

Speaker 7 (42:20):
Think we can get.

Speaker 10 (42:21):
That we keep that between me and myself AND I
hey to donate or sign up To Needs Uncomfortable.
