Speaker 1 (00:00):
If you're listening to Will and Woody Woods broadcasting live
from Africa right now ahead of the armis Leab Jungle
Wood you go in this weekend, people can see you
channel ten Sunday night the big episode, which is really
where we all find out who else is going to
be in there with your mate? Have you got now
that you're there, because I know if you're just joining us.

(00:22):
Woods has been detailing about how he has to walk
everywhere with a bag on his head, which seems totally wild,
even more wild, but you're starting to enjoy it.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
It's something about the saying about just totally like relinkishing
control of your life to this beautiful man called Dick
care who is my chaperone and security guard. Like there
is something At the start, I was like a little
bit stressed about that because I honestly I don't know
what I'm doing minute to minute tick a, this chaperone
just bags me and then just takes.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Bas you need to be bags you, yeah, puts you
in arseless leather chaps and then takes you around whatever
you want. No, you wouldn't know that's a scary. But
but let's talk a little bit about the about the celebs,
so because of how tight the security has been. And yeah,
I know that obviously the party line here is for

(01:15):
someone like TK, who we had on the show before,
he doesn't want to give anything up. But have you
had any inkling, like you've got a keen sense of smell,
have you smelt a fragrance in any of the cars
or outside any of the villas that might indicay? Have
you heard any voices?

Speaker 3 (01:33):
This system is so air tight. Nothing.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
But the one thing I've heard is TK said to
me when we're having lunch on the first day when
I arrived, he said, I was actually supposed to be
looking after the footballer. His Kurd name is Applutini.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
But that that that, that is it.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
And then I was like, do you know the name
of the football and he was like, no, I just
knew he's referred to as Appleutini.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
That's it, honestly, that they're all only two as code names,
which and you forgot, you forgot your code names when
you're you're trying to get in your first car, the
car from the radio station to the airport. Yeah, here
in Australia, you forgot your code name.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
So you're just yelling I was just standing at the Yeah,
standing out the front is yelling random cocktails at him,
I'm believing, which was very frustrating for him.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
But yeah, actually speaking about the camp itself, because that's
I mean, the first forty eight hours, as I said,
has been intense, Like I almost went for a jog
and potentially got killed by leopards and lions. Like there's
just so much going on that I was excited to
tell you about. But focusing on the camp itself, I
actually don't know when I'm going to be taken to
the campsite. I still don't know where exactly the campsite is. Obviously,

(02:44):
it's just somewhere in the jungle. And last night I
actually got this this talk with the head of security
and the head of health and safety, a guy called
Dion and then head of security is called Steve, both
very intimidating looking guys. And I was under the impression
that the campsite in the jungle was going to be
this like fenced off area where they were very much

(03:05):
controlling the animals that could come in and go out, etc.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
So this is not the case at all.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
The head of security, Steve, told me that the outside
of the camp site is actually surrounded by guys in Camo.
So he said, don't be alarmed if you see guys
in Camo, they're mole men. And I was like right,
and he was like, they are effectively standing there and
they're going to let people know if there is a
lion or a water buffalo or anything going into the campsite,

(03:33):
and then they can effectively get the animal.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
To go away. Wow. They then spoke to me about snakes.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
So the guy who's in charge of health and safety
was like, you're always miked up. If you see a snake,
verbalize it because we need to get in there and
we need to get that snake out.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
And they brought up these.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Spitting kubras that they keep talking about, which are really
popular and effectively, these spitting cobras, most snakes have venom
at the bottom of their teeth.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Yeah, these cobras have a little hole at.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
The front of their teeth and if they feel threatened,
they will spit venom at your eyes.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
And Dion said they are very, very accurate, and.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
He said, if you get spat in the eyes like
that is really really painful stuff.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
So like that conversation, it was supposed to make me
feel more comfortable and feel safer. It actually made me
feel more scared because they both reminded me that they
were like, you are in a wild environment and animals
will walk through there.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
They're everywhere.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Wow. So they're like, stay in your campsite, only swim
in the water, which we've already.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Checked, etc. It's it's totally wild.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
And I haven't even like talked about the fact that
I'm obviously about to learn who I'm going to be
living intimately with for a period of time. Like there's
just so much unknown about that. So yes, there's nerves trepidation,
but like, I am also very excited to just get
in there and see how I respond.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
To the situation. Yeah, I'm a celebrity.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Get me out of it. Wow.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
You you're gonna say, well, it's Steve kept saying that, Steve.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
So Steve.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Steve was like, you know the magic words, al right,
if you want to get out of there, you say,
almost liberty, get me out of here, don't try and
escape the campsite.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
And I was like, what do.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
You mean, He's life if you if you if you
try and escape the campsite, we can't look after you.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
That's where my men do not look after him.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
You will get lost and it will take three days
to fund you, and you will probably die.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Oh my god, Steve.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Okay, Steve, very real, totally very real.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Do you want a quick fun fact that I learned
by the ways, Well, sure, so quickly, my.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Chaperone, quickly, my chaperone TK.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
We saw a hyena on the drive into wherever I
am right now, and he informed me that the female
hyaenas are in charge of the packs or clans.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
And this is fun.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
T K is just walked in so we can confirm this.
The female is have pseudo doodles. Yeah, faked doodles, so
childish K is nodding.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
We just I don't care if t K is nodding.
I just left a great note before. How interesting You're
actually in a live jungle and we've ended up on
fake doodle. Unbelievable.
