The Endeavor Tavern in Lanceolen had all of its bar
mats stolen. Pretty funny, So all of its bar runners
got stolen by a bunch of guys who just went
in there in the afternoon, set up on the middle
table and fleece the place of all of its bar mats.

I don't condone it, but it's pretty funny, but it's
pretty funny.

It's very funny right under the nose of all the
stuff as well. They've since returned the bar mats as
they're focus to the video online. It's gone completely viral.
Oh great, millions and millions of views watching these blokes
oty the way they massed to still these bar mats from,
as I said, literally under the noses of the people
who work there. And one of the people that does
work there is the owner, Paul Ferguson, who joins us
right now from the Endeavor Tavern in lancelinn Get.

Paul, Oh god, there you going good? Are people always
trying to get your bar mats?

Paul, Oh no, not very often, not like that. So
that's just yeah, it's pretty sensational how it's gone viral.

I mean, I've been to Lanceling before. We'd just been there.
It's a it's a it's a beautiful part of the world.
You do get some characters in that part of the
world those Is this one of the weirder things that's
been stolen from your pub?

That's one of the weirder things. But it's one of
the weird of things. How it's gone so viral we've
had well, I think this morning it was up to
twenty one million views now, so.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Yeah, we all Also, that's great promo for the pub, Paul,
you endeavor to have.

It's pretty solid, pretty solid, pretty happy with with Well

Yeah, I dare say, Paul, these guys that stole or
you know you will successfully stole your bar mats, I
feel like you might owe them a couple of drinks
now in a really strange twist, because they've just made
a viral video about your.

Pub exactly in the strange twist. That's what I said
to the guys. I mean, I'll reach out to him
if they want to come back up and say hi
and have a bit of a chat, and I'll definitely
buy them a part.

Yeah, they might have become your marketing manager. Can you steel?

When did you notice that all of your bar runners

Oh? I mean it was probably the next morning when
we're setting up the bar.

One only with our premiership lag the local footy team
