Speaker 1 (00:18):
It is Will and what do I hope you're having
a brilliant drive home with Joe's.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
You know, I'm over in Europe at the moment.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
I actually had before.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Time, so I'll get this out on the system.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
Get on the system. I've got some time in Amisdam
right now with Samon's her and her family and my
daughter Maxie transferred to see her relatives. It's really beautiful.
But also my brother lives in Amsterdam, as you know,
so Alan I as you set me up with before
and so beautiful mentioned all and I had a week
in hiking and playing golf in Scotland together and we
(00:52):
had we finished up with the weekend in one of
my favorite cities in the world in London.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
London where you went and saw Cat Stevens and some young.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Cat Stevens and Van Morrison all played together in Hyde Park.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
There you go. VIP t level, I believe, Yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
Got VIP tickets yet through our Matefield Dows. It was
this thing, thanks Phil uh and yeah, got right down
in there, had a cracking night and then look, we
actually had a pretty big weekend in London actually, ol
those a few people there. There's a lot of good
music on, had a great time.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
We're having fun here in Australia and I just said,
I just want to throw that in there, as well
as having quite a beautiful winter. You should see some
of the moons we getting at the moment anyway. Also
to see the foot he's heading up. You're not getting
that over in Holland a pretty hard to watch the
footy over there.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
It's a shit season anyway. So I was out with
Al in London.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
Yeah, and I mean it's a big deal for you
and me if we get recognized anywhere.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Of course, it does not happen much.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
I think it's probably one of the great boons of
radio is that you can kind of live relatively anonymously
out there in the wilderness. But but you're right when
it does happen, it rarely happens. And McCay that is
so rare. It can give you a little bit of
a kicking your step.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
It can be pleasant, Yeah, it's lovely.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
More often than not, they then call you like they'll
call me Will and then they'll call you Woody. Like
and they go like, oh, how do you wake up
so early in the morning, And You're like, I did
the drive shift.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
But thanks thanks for recognizing me anyway.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yeah, and I mean when I was running with the
shaved head, you know, I got a lot of FITZI
how I go Marti once actually, So anyway, it's all
in all, there haven't been good moments for me. But
I'm out this pub in London. I'm having a great time.
I've seen Cat Stevens. I'm having a pint.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
I'm on this.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
I'm on the streets of Angel The sun is out
and I start talking to a few people and they're
they're lovely guys. And then after a little while they
go over and I see them sort of like consulting
a phone, and I'm looking over and I'm like, oh,
here we go. This is the moment one of these
(03:04):
boys is, buddy, recognize me.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
Can't take me anywhere, can't anywhere.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
I've done it, mate, We're cracked. We've cracked the island. Here,
we are must everywhere, that's right. I mean, I'm not
on the socials, but I forget there. We're an international product.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Online made me pop up, and so you know, They're
flooding to the phone.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
They're looking at the phone, and they're pointing at me.
They're pointing at me, looking at the phone, and I
turned to Alan, I was like, mate, this is it.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Check this out.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
These boys. No, I am free beers for the rest
of the night leaning. And then eventually one of them
finally gets the courage to come up to me. I'm
sort of like nodding my head already, and then he
says to me, Hey, mate.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Are you the guy who got ricked? No?
Speaker 3 (03:48):
Why?
Speaker 2 (03:49):
And I was like, no, why, you mean the guy
that pranked me Rick.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
So if anyone missed it, there was a guy who
called out radio show called Rick who pranked us?
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Have a listened to this.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
I just made up a story.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
Because I want to get through and say, hey.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Going.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
Every time you sneak on air, We'll give you some
epic price.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
I'll be on every day, mark my work every day.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Hey Jared, Jared, what's your opinion on this?
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Boys, I think it's disgusting. I think they should get said.
But do you know what I find more disgustias there.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
We've worked in radio for thirteen years and the one
thing we are recognized for is a random guy from
Western Sydney pranking us when.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
We got praank. Yes, we give all the pranks we've done.
It is we worked so hard.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
