Speaker 1 (00:04):
The Will and Woody Podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Did you do anything dumb or stupid after your daughter
Max was born?
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Like, in the forty eight hours after she was born?
Was there anything dumb or stupid you did that like
comes to mind?
Speaker 4 (00:20):
Well, Like, the answer is probably a lot, because I
do remember that period of getting home with a new
baby as the most like bewildering experience I've probably ever had. Like,
you have no idea what you're doing.
Speaker 5 (00:37):
Yeah, I'm pretty sure we well, I'm pretty sure we
drove off with her from from the hospital in the
MAXI cozy like not it slid right across the seat,
I reckon that fits for dumb and stupid.
Speaker 4 (00:48):
Well, you have not clear your baby I was chucked
in the back seat. And then I mean we haven't
slept for twenty four hours or whatever it was.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
So this is the bit. It's like it's like the
sleep deprivation class.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
I'm sure you feel you're in this airy headspace as
well where your child's born.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
You're just not thinking straight.
Speaker 6 (01:03):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
This keeps happening to me after children are born.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
For me, I do something really really dumb when Remy
was born. I went for a run, rolled my ankle like,
strained my ligaments and then slid across concrete like as
I as I walked out of the hospital, I wanted
to go for a jog to clear my head. Slid
across the concrete to the point where I had to
then take the hospital bed from mim so.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
We could look after my angle. Wow, right up there.
One of the dumbest things you can do.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
So, now my second child, Murphy, she's born. I decide
on the same day that she's born it was important
to go and do something with my daughter Remy my
first daughter Remby took her to the museum. Yeah bluster, Yeah,
that's fine. It just how it happened so quickly. I'll
get that in a second.
Speaker 4 (01:45):
I just want to know.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
I'm thirteen one oh sixty five, though, given this has
happened to me twice, and I think has happened to
you as well. You didn't clip the baby seed into
the car properly. I just want to know has anyone
else done something particularly dumb or stupid after their baby
was born. I'm going to say it's for twenty four
hours to forty eight hours after the birth of the baby. Yep,
(02:06):
did you do something really dumb and stupid. It made
me feel a bit better about myself because I keep
doing it.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
Thirteen one oh sixty five is the phone number.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
So museum. So I again, I was just in. I
was just floating.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
I was just kind of floating through the nose museum,
not really thinking straight. And so she was kind of
like running ahead of me. And so you know the
museum I'm talking about it.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
There's like a the Melbourn Museum.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
Yeah, it's like.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
A kid's tunnel. Yeah, it's great.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Okay, so she's in the tunn D's Gallery, Kid's Gallery, awesome.
The Book of Time nah, but still got in a.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
Mess this second. They often enforced that quite rigidly. Yeah,
we're very sneaky.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
So there's a there's a little tunnel thing, and I
just thought, you know, a little bit of fun. She's
in the tunnel, I'll run on the outside and meet
her on the other end of the tunnel.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
Yeah, classic, right, classic. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
I got to the other end of the tunnel, no chart.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
So so I'm thinking it was I was pretty quick there, right,
So I was like, there's no way she she outran me.
So then I ran back the other way thinking maybe
you didn't fully enter tunnel, maybe you've doubled back. Oh clever, right,
So then I went all the way down the other
end and was like, nah, she's not here. Then I
spoke to a staff members like did a little girl
in a blue dress run past here?
Speaker 3 (03:13):
And she was like nah, And I was like, okay.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
We might have a problem, and she was like you
have a lost child and I was like, yeah, I reckon,
we can call that officially lost at this point, because
then I looked at the other side of the museum
and there was no side of her.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Wow, I couldn't hear her, like you'd think a lot
of kids there though, Yeah, there's a lot of noise
going on.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
So then the first time as a parent, I had
to give details of my child to a staff member
who then had to get on the radio and say, hey, guys,
we've got a lost three year old. Her name is
Remy and she's in a blue dress. Like I'm pretty
bad father moment obviously. Anyway, So then five minutes later
of looking where all the staff of the museum and
(03:53):
then looking for her, she just popped out from behind
a corner in the dinosaur enclosure, not rattled at all.
Speaker 7 (04:00):
Yeah, she just went she goes, hey dad. Oh so
she's oh, wow, hey dad, how are you? A little
bits a lot of emotions going on. She's just like,
what's wrong, Dad, what's wrong?
Speaker 4 (04:11):
How long after Murphy was born? Did this happen? Four hours?
Oh my god?
Speaker 3 (04:16):
So there was a moment in my head as well,
where I'm going, I need to now go back to
the hospital. And he's explaining to my wife, who's just
given birth. I've lost the first one.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
We gained one.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
That's what's happened. We're back to having one child. So
thankfully that intense I'm just curious. Thirteen one oh six
y five. I keep doing this. Have you done something
really dumb or stupid after the birth of your baby?
Speaker 4 (04:39):
It might have been a drug infused induced airy fairy phase.
For all the for all the mums out there that
did something pretty silly after giveing.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Birthdred, it's a phenomenon. Mine is not drug related.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
But for both you told me you were high as
a guy in the birthway.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Were on love and oxytocin. Absolutely, but no. So after
the birth of my first daughter, went for a run. Yeah,
did my ankle slid across some concrete and now Murphy's
born yesterday and I took my first daughter to the
museum lost her.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
I just my headspace gets real strange, and I just
I'm keen to know.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Is it a phenomenon? Let's go to Donnie here. Donna,
what did you do after your baby was born?
Speaker 8 (05:18):
Well after giving birth, after a very long labor, A
whole day, I I think we were We had a
few the epidural went in the next day, I forgot
to feed my baby, probably for a good thirty hours.
Nurse came in said, just checking when the last time
was that? You said her? I said, oh, okay, yes,
(05:40):
got a breastfeed.
Speaker 9 (05:41):
You know that.
Speaker 8 (05:42):
Like you said that, you just are unsure.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
What you're doing hours without feeding it.
Speaker 8 (05:48):
Yeah, she was obviously very dressed up.
Speaker 10 (05:50):
No, she was obviously very tired and slept.
Speaker 8 (05:53):
A lot of that because we had the epidural and
a very long labor.
Speaker 11 (05:57):
We were both exhausted.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
Wow, the sleep done, I reckon, you know. Yeah, the sleep, you.
Speaker 8 (06:05):
Know, it was a sign of the time. It's also
a very good sleeper. She became a very good baby
after that.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
There and you're done. Hell ist fasting.
Speaker 7 (06:17):
Yeah, started all the age, little shred, little post birth shred.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
Let's got to Debbie here, don't do that, by the way.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Don't don't don't try and lose weight from your baby. Yeah, yeah, no,
I don't think we were saying that. Yeah, Debbie, you
did say a bit dumb and stupid after your baby.
Speaker 8 (06:35):
Was Yeah, sure did.
Speaker 11 (06:36):
Baby was six weeks old.
Speaker 10 (06:38):
On the way back to work, very sleep deprived, got
in the car, put her in the car, locked the car.
Speaker 11 (06:46):
Realized I locked her in the car.
Speaker 10 (06:47):
Colby and m and Cain like.
Speaker 8 (06:50):
Such an idiot. He unlocked the car, he drove off.
Speaker 12 (06:54):
I locked her in the car again.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
What do you think about David Arbor? I mean, is
he is he? Is he a bad guy? Really? Is
the question I want to know, because he's got, he's
currently got. If you're fresh to this, you have this
hectic breakup with Lily Allen. Lilyan writes this record apparently,
but let's let's go. Let's go through the fact so
we can this is what we know before we start
speculating in gossiping. By the way, thirty one and six five,
(07:19):
you're going to join the girls with a big goss here.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
I love that you bringing a legal element to this day.
It's what you do. And then I we'll start with
just business and formality.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
Yeah, you can speculate, Yeah, speculate right, great facts are yeah,
breaks up with Lily Allen. Ely Allen releases this record
like a week ago.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
I think it's called West End Girl. Apparently she wrote
it in a couple of.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
Weeks, so she used to live. They used to have
an apartment I think in the West End. He and
Lily Allan, David arm and lean right, they're in this
open marriage. That's that's the way it's meant to be.
And then and then Lily releases this record after the breakup,
which apparently is he said she writes in fifteen days.
He's very literal. There's no metaphors here about what was
(08:02):
going on. This is one of the songs called Tennis.
I believe Who's Madeline? All right, So that's going on
in one there's this other song cold this so called Madeline.
She kind of goes into what the structure of the
(08:23):
relationship was and what he breached within their relationship.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
How long has it been going on?
Speaker 13 (08:28):
Is it just sex or is that emotion?
Speaker 14 (08:30):
He told me it was staying in hotel room, never
be out in the open. Why would I trust anything
that comes out of his mouth? Whoa oh, why would
I trust anything that comes out of his mouth?
Speaker 1 (08:43):
We had an ogem.
Speaker 15 (08:46):
Beater Street and w play. There had to be pain.
It has to be the stranger Bayona, a stranger mat.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
Okay, so there had to be payment. It had to
be with strangers. But you're not a stranger, Madaline. So
it sounds like he's breached the terms of their relationships.
That's the Lily Allen side of it. Then we've got
this Millie Bobby Brown. I'm rewatching Stranger Things at the moment.
This is breaking my heart. But so eleven, if you
haven't seen Stranger Things, she's an orphan. Effectively, I don't
(09:24):
want to give you too many spoilers. He's a cop,
he's a bit rough around the edges. He fosters her
as his daughter, adopts her, effectively raises.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Her, becomes the most lovable character. I would say in
almost TV history, like we Asdore Hopper and.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
We adore their relationship. I mean, these guys then go
on because then again, when Millie Bobby Brown starts playing eleven,
she's young like's she's what I think nearly about ten
years old. I think she is. They then go and
do ages and ages and ages of being a father
daughter combo. They're walking red carpets all over the world,
like whenever they're doing this is Netflix's biggest show, so
(10:01):
whenever they're walking them out, it's like, here's hop here's eleven.
Look at how great these guys are. And I'm online
now looking at just photos of them hugging looks that
they have to say to each other, like they're just
gushing about each other. And then a couple of weeks
ago or even last week, she files this lawsuit against
him for abutus and bullying. Is that? Is that right? Yes?
(10:24):
And Netflix haven't commented. Netflix have said something, David Arborough
has said nothing. They're they're the current facts.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
And apparently she The other thing I read is that
she's got like a representative who has to be with
her at all times on set for the filming of
the new season because of all this stuff that's going on.
This might be a bit of an assumption. I'm not
a hund of a cent sure on this, but I
assume that she wanted that, yeah, to stop that from happening.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
So we've got this like huge fall from grace. This
guy we were listening earlier, we were talking about how
well loved he was.
Speaker 9 (11:00):
Right.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
So when at the SAG Awards, this is in twenty seventeen,
I think Netflix Stranger Things goes up there and wins
best Show whatever it is. Of all the people on
the stage, So the what do they called, the brothers
who wrote the shirt, the Duffer brothers, they're up there,
We're known the riders up there. All the kids are
(11:21):
up there, million, Bobby Brown, the young right. So, but
this is like Netflix's biggest hit. This is the biggest
show in the world. You forget that Netflix pins itself
on this show. It's like this is the first real
serial drama that we made. They all go up there.
David Arbor is the guy that gets the award and
delivers this impassioned speech about bullying. I mean, have a
(11:43):
listen to him.
Speaker 16 (11:44):
As we act in the continuing narrative of Stranger Things,
we nineteen eighty three Midwesterns will repel bullies. We will
shelter fricks and the outcast, those who have no homes.
Speaker 17 (11:57):
We will get pass from the lies, will haunt monsters,
and when we are at a loss amidst the hypocrisy
and the casual violence of certain individuals and institutions, we will,
as per Chief Jim Hopper, punch some people in the
face when they sit to this story.
Speaker 10 (12:18):
And the monster life.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
It's funny what your mind does when you like with
all this new information.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Yeah, hear that, and you go a bit over the top. Yeah,
but did you want to have someone else talk? But
at the time loved it. It's a standing ovation.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
The best actors in the world are all standing up
in that room, going, yes, you're going to protect bullies
and you know, stranger things about these nerdy kids. And
he's this beautiful father figure. I'm rewatching season four at
the moment before you know. The new one comes out
November twenty six. I love Opper. How could I not
love him?
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Yeah, even the fact that like he's his sorry this
one like he has he's had this really interesting career
as well, Hopper, Like if you sometimes he pops up
in Bazama of his Enemy of the State.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
He's got a very very small part David Ama, like
you were really.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
Having a never made it time and it's like, oh,
you made it with Stranger Things later in life, and
I think we love those stories. Yeah as well, So
we're all added to this whole. Like David Arbor, he's
the Internet's daddy.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
We love it. Yeah, we loved him. If you and
I spoke to him, we did, only it was lovely.
So he had a bit of a weird moment at
the end of the interview with him.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
We rewatched a bit of the footage of our interview
with David Arbor, and there's a moment at the end where.
Speaker 3 (13:28):
You go, oh, did I just see a bit of nasty?
Speaker 4 (13:31):
Yeah, he got a little bit nasty. Yeah. Hey, over
to phones thirty one to six'. Five if you guys
are driving home and you're talking about, this you're thinking about,
this maybe we're Watching Stranger. Things maybe you're A Lily allen.
Fan have you heard The Lily allen? Record do you
reckon it's over the? Top do you Think David abbat
is actually a bad? Guy Like i'll be discovering that
he was just putting on a show the whole.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
Time have you got some ghosts that we haven't? Heard
maybe about what have you?
Speaker 4 (13:54):
Heard, Yes Millie Bobby brown like a half, volley, Right
After Lily allen releases that, record she then makes a
formal claim With, netflix complaint saying That David harbor has
bullied and harassed.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
Her Which netflix haven't commented.
Speaker 4 (14:13):
On they haven't. COMMENTED i said before that she should
follow the, law so she hasn't done. That she just
lodged a official complaint With.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Netflix so it's not looking good for Old.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
Harbor like it's kind of all unraveling because it's, interesting
but it's, like let's be, honest, like if this is
a bad breakup and someone is writing nasty things in,
songs you can kind of look at that and, Go,
OKAY i haven't heard his, perspective like things can get
really nasty and.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
Breakouts but that coupled with The Millie Bobby brown, thing.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
It's also sad like on the Millibug brown side of
things because we're just saying that look like they've been
close the whole. Time imagine if he has been harassing
her the whole, time but she's only got like the
strength the gumption to say it Because Lily allen's kind of,
like you know WHAT i, Mean that's how it.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
Works with these.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
People they build up so specter around themselves and they're you,
know almost, unassailable and you rely on somebody else complaining
before you can. COMPLAIN i really hope that's not the.
CASE i think we all. Do natalie is called to
join the ghost, Though, natalie what do you reckon About David? Arbor?
Speaker 12 (15:09):
Oh my, God, Hi, william that's your baby.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
Girl thank, You.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
NAT i very much appreciate.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
That but let's talk About David, arbor Because, murphy my new,
daughter she's off.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Him she Hates. David i'm going to go with the Name.
Speaker 4 (15:20):
David but, then.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
But, now where are you at With David? Arbor i'll
be so.
Speaker 10 (15:27):
HONEST i Loved Stranger.
Speaker 8 (15:29):
THINGS i think he was amazing And Stranger, things and
Then Lily allen's stuff came out and it's to be, like.
Speaker 12 (15:35):
You're kind of scary looking. NOW i, mean now these
allegations like it's really.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
My wife's and mine starts turning them into such an
asshole once you know.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
That my wife said the same. Thing he looks kind of.
Speaker 4 (15:51):
He does well in all The marvel. Stuff he plays this,
massive Like russian super villain kind of. Guy even if you.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
Watch episode one of the first season Of Stranger, things,
yeah you first see. Him he's a gross looking he's. Rough, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
But he has this beautiful redemption arc of.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Course and it's. ACTING i gotta, remember he's playing a.
Character everything you see him doing stranger, things we cannot
assume that that is.
Speaker 4 (16:17):
Them and if he is such a good, actor is
he you, know often they're great actors in real. LIFE
i Mean kevin's, facey we were talking about him just,
BEFORE i mean he fooled the world for twenty five
years that he was a really good, guy and all
that sort of stuff started coming, out all of these
there's so how could you treat here and you, know
with you, know hopefully not getting, sad but you could
start going through great actors and all of a, sudden gee,
(16:41):
whiz totally falls of a cliff pretty. Quickly, no there's
not many great actors who are not absolute freaks of, course,
really because you kind of have to be that level
to be an, extra to totally disassociate from who you
are and become a different. Person, yes takes a certain.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
Person how did you ever have a fight with an
actor and be like you legit do like you, Say
you've just watched them in an amazing scene where they've
got emotional and, stuff and then you have a fight
with them at home and they they're crying and. Stuff
you'd be, like, well.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
Where's the, line where's the? Line it's really. DIFFICULT i
THINK i was telling you. Before there's A Dustin hoffman
who won The Academy award For Kramer Versus. Kramer he
there's a scene where he like belted Me Meryl street
like in the in the, script it was, like you,
know his character Hits Meryl street and he like actually
smacked her around.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
With her like with her like thumbs, up like you
can do.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
That, no, no, No like they just hadn't gone through it,
yet and they were going through it and he whacked
her and they haven't spoken. Since but his whole thing was,
like it was my. Character what do you know? About
it was my? Character. Hayle sam's called. THIRTEEN i know it's. Yuck.
Thirteen sam's called thirteen one and six? Five you want
to join the girls with the? Goths? Here what you?
Got excuse? Me?
Speaker 8 (17:52):
Sure?
Speaker 18 (17:53):
Do?
Speaker 4 (17:53):
Oh great? Joiners?
Speaker 3 (17:54):
Sam what have you? Heard what's the goss you've?
Speaker 4 (17:56):
Got?
Speaker 13 (17:57):
WELL i think that you, know with all of her
new albums coming out and, things like that she's obviously
had it in the back of her mind for a.
While BUT i also, think you, know it was a
way for her to cope with it and you, know
work through it. Herself so a coping mechanism.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
Writing the record is, yeah, YEAH i, Suppose so it's
definitely a part of. That but so the other part
of this is she's by writing this, album like she's
made it so obvious that she's talking About, david, Right,
YEAH i don't know if she's like named, him but
it's like it's obviously about him because she's been so
obvious about the things that she's accusing him. Of, yeah
(18:32):
like that's got to get like to defamation, Areas like
if she's.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
Making exactly is she's making it? Up she's in. Trouble
but also but is it LIKE i suppose this is
the other part for me is how many people like
they're in an open relationship, right like they're LIKE i
always find it gets very interesting one and once there's
a he, says she, says in an open relationship, scenario it's, like,
well you've agreed that you can both sleep with other,
(18:57):
people then there's gonna been out the side of this.
Story the other, THING i would, Say david. Talks if he,
talks he might not. TALK i think The Milli bobby
round thing obviously is you, know obviously a point against.
Him there's this note that button push Of thomas showed,
me which is which is sort of like a piece
of character, evidence which is he apparently he Gave Lily
(19:19):
alan these. Flowers a photo of a. Photo there's a
photo of this. Note this is, legit this is, confirmed
this is. Real. Yeah so he Gives lily on these
flowers and it's got this note attached to, it and it,
says my ambitious, Wife, comma these are bad luck. Flowers
this is for the opening night Of Lily allen's. Play
these are bad luck. Flowers because if you get reviewed
(19:42):
well in this, play you will get all kinds of,
awards And i'll be, miserable full, stop your loving husband full.
Stop now, again in light of like what we know about,
him seems like it seems like a real dick. Comment
if you put that through the filter of he's not bad,
guy that could be. Sarcasm that's just like really washed
(20:03):
as well in their relationship like, that that that could
just be really. Funny, wow it's so.
Speaker 3 (20:08):
True, god you never do sarcasm over.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
Text it doesn't. Work come on.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
Your, voice not just ps.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
Haha you know.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
What would you be thinking if you've got a? Notificasual
you have a package.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
And OBVIOUSLY i imagine that goods getting the.
Speaker 4 (20:44):
Package it's other just records for. Me so that's very, exciting.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
Exciting, okay so you're thinking. Records what's the new Vinyl i've?
Got you, know obviously some hats From Berlin techno or.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
Something, yeah, Recently, yeah an Ambient dutch. House. AWESOME i
JUST i love a, Band Gaussian. CURVE i love. It,
yeah look them.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Up if you're, beautiful we'll play a bit Of gaussian
if we can find.
Speaker 4 (21:08):
It often With Fine, life forget THAT i order. It
that's the best part of it because SOMETIMES i get
home late AND i order things and THEN i, realized
LIKE i totally have to order. That how.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
Exciting take yourself. There you get the, Notification you go
to your front, door there's a. Box you, think, oh
it's pretty big for a box of. VINYLS i must
have bought a lot of. Vinyls you open the box
and you see human body parts on.
Speaker 4 (21:29):
Ice, wow what are you? Thinking, umm, like.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
There's, there's, there's, there's there's there's two arms and four
fingers on.
Speaker 4 (21:39):
ICE i felt like something it. Murdered and then why
HAVE i sent it to? You, well probably BECAUSE i
don't want to send it to their own house because
the cops will follow them.
Speaker 11 (21:49):
Up.
Speaker 4 (21:49):
Oh in, movies after you've killed, someone you dismember the
body and then you try and put normally with the
parts in. Acid but a good way to do it
maybe in the parts of different.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
People there you, Go, yeah, Okay i'd be thinking that
a mob boss was like threatening to put a hit on.
Speaker 3 (22:03):
Me i've got a target on my.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
Head what have you? Done i'm not sure, yet But.
Speaker 3 (22:10):
I've got a lot of nights THAT i.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Can't i'm, Like i've pissed off a mob boss at
some point in my life and they're sending me. Limbs,
anyway turns out this so this did no, no this
this did happen to a woman In. Kentucky she opened a.
Box there's two, arms, fingers four fingers on. Ice she's freaking.
Out turns out it was just a. MISTAKE i was
supposed to go to the local. Mark it was just
it was just a big cockup and. Mark yeah this
(22:35):
was On halloween as.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
Well oh gee.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
Weird to be, honest that would make me less it
less scary because if it Was, Halloween i'd be, like
it's obviously, First i'd start licking them and stuff and you,
know given it a bit of a. Chew but, no
they're real. Anyway so this, story it's a bit of
a nothing. Story it was just a mix. Up they're
supposed to go to the. Mark but here's WHAT i
would love to know from you guys on thirteen one
oh sixty. Five, yeah AND i, LIKE i don't know
(22:59):
if we're going to hear anything, here BUT i know
these stories are going to be.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
Good have you ever had to put a body part on?
Speaker 4 (23:07):
Ice SO.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
I think the only stories where this can happen is
if you've ever been around a moment where fingers come,
off a toes come, off or hands come, off or
a LEG i mean streuth a.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
Leg i'd love, It i'd hear, it and then you've
had to put it on, ice put your own leg on.
Ice it doesn't.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
Again leg is really like that's the cream of the
crop leg. Stories BUT i just want to know if
you've ever yet a body part has come off someone
or you and you've had to put it on ice
and then drive to the. Hospital because then that's the
idea THAT i.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
Reattach.
Speaker 4 (23:50):
It, yeah, well you, know my mum works in, trauma
so she said, That, yeah, often that's what she has
to answer the phone. Daily, yeah when she was working
at the, HOSPITAL i reckon and they're just calling and
she'd be, like, okay, cool here's what you. Do just
get a bag of. Ice because of when they're in,
shock she, said, Yeah so she, said they're in, shock
(24:11):
but they're kind of like still up so that they're operating.
Normally so they call up and they, go, hey just
chop your hand, off just wondering if you could, help
and they're, like, okay, cool just get like a snap block,
bag put some ice in. There if you put the
hand in, there and, yeah if you could drive yourself
in that'd be. Great songs you're not bleeding, anymore you,
know obviously called the men you've got an arterial bleed and.
(24:31):
Whatnot but, yeah has she seen the leg on? ICE
i don't. KNOW i don't think, so BECAUSE i, mean
like THINGS i said hand BUT i, said lobbed a
handoff before but like you like you really like once
you're cutting an, artery like there's there's a couple of
big arteries that run out your legs in. Trouble that's
a big. Problem arterial bleeds.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
Under under Knee Like i'd take half a leg here
someone's chopped their leg off and put it on ice
and then calling the radio show right.
Speaker 4 (24:57):
NOW i, mean that'd be.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
Great that's the.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
Showcase that's the same high the, headphones it's. EVERYTHING i
can't give.
Speaker 4 (25:01):
THAT i can't give you the.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
HEADPHONES i will buy you some sand highs ahead six
hundred and fifty HEAD i will not be doing that.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
Thirty six. Five have you put a body part on? Ice? Yeah,
right a double past the running. Man there you, Go
there you, Go there you.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
Go BUT i think if something if you get chopped
off from the knee, DOWN i.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Reguon you could track that on esky and maybe get it.
Speaker 19 (25:24):
Reattached maybe you might does it need to be a
limb going to be an ear in control with an
ear or nose or tongue any if you cut off, anything, Penis.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
I'll take penis. Penis don't take that out of. Context
let's go to as Here i'm thirty ONE o six.
Five make this happen to you when you're in year.
Speaker 9 (25:46):
Three, YES i was nine years. Old we went on
a school excursion at The Rialto. TOWER i was actually
known as The Rialto. Boy anyone That thomas Down Meadows
Primary school with about.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
The Rialto, BOY i love. That so what? Happened?
Speaker 9 (26:01):
Boy So we've gone down the escalators on the way,
out AND i had stuck my, hand my left hand
into the side of the escalator and, then, yeah thankfully
Missus wolf she managed to press the emergency stopped BEFORE
i got to the end of the. ESCALATOR i was
in excruciating. PAIN i had. Fainted When i'd woken up
(26:21):
at the, hospital my hand was. Nice my fingers were
hanging off my.
Speaker 3 (26:24):
Hand fingers, sorry all all four.
Speaker 9 (26:29):
Two of, them the two ones in the, middle.
Speaker 4 (26:32):
They're hanging off. You so they kind of like they.
Speaker 9 (26:35):
Were hanging off the.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
Hand, yeah and your whole hand was on. Eyes my whole.
Speaker 9 (26:39):
Hand was like in an ice. Bucket So i'm looking.
Down and then just before they gave me anesthetic put
me to sleep and do the. Surgery, yeah the next
Time i'd woken up AND i had my hand back
and my fingers back on my.
Speaker 11 (26:52):
Hand.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
Story that's so.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
Cool thank, you Missus.
Speaker 9 (26:56):
Wolf, yes and if my wife's, LISTENING i love you
so much much. Wife Missus wolf she was one of
the hottest stitches you Ever.
Speaker 4 (27:12):
With a couple of little, shoutouts get on your Missus,
WOLF i love that To.
Speaker 3 (27:19):
Marcus love that A, marcus we're talking about body parts on.
Speaker 4 (27:25):
Eyes what are you got for?
Speaker 6 (27:26):
US i had sparkles of an employee that decided to
chop the top of their finger off on a steel. Gillatine.
Oh we had to get a nice bucket and raced
him to the local hospital where they were able to reattach.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
It when they reattach, It i'm not sure if you
know this because it wasn't New, markers but do you
get full feeling back in the?
Speaker 6 (27:49):
Digit he basically didn't have no feeling at the top
end of the of his index finger on his right.
Speaker 4 (27:55):
Hand, now, yeah, Yes, markers REALLY i want.
Speaker 19 (28:00):
Legs we've had hand, Finger i've had plural, fingers WHICH
i was happy.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
With we went back to one. FINGER i was wondering about.
Speaker 4 (28:06):
THAT i, mean the producers normally do it. Sequentially you
go like you don't get up in. Posh it's good,
feedback isn't. It i'm going to build, something going to
build to. Something they're trying to one finger entry. Level
multiple fingers is better than one. FINGER i don't want
to hear.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
It it was tipp of.
Speaker 4 (28:21):
Fingers but if just anybody hope this is a. Leg
IF i swear To, god visit a, fingernail you're gone like.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Analise let's go To, SECA, seca bring us, home, mate
this happened to your.
Speaker 3 (28:31):
Dad we're talking body parts on. Ice what are you?
Speaker 12 (28:33):
Going so my dad was loading up a really heavy
trailer with bricks and, stuff and then he went to
go move the bricks that hold the tires from like you,
know like rolling. Back, Yeah and he moved the brick
and his hand got stuck underneath the, trailer and in a,
panic he ripped his hand, back and the trailer was
so heavy that he actually ripped off three of his
(28:55):
fingers back to three three of his, fingers and at
first he didn't, realize so he ripped his hand and
had a, look and then once he saw the blood
start gushing, out he started freaking.
Speaker 4 (29:07):
Out, yeah fair.
Speaker 12 (29:08):
Enough and then my mum passed, Out.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
So mum passes. Out he's freaking. Out who picks up
the fingers and checks him on?
Speaker 4 (29:17):
Eyes it was his?
Speaker 8 (29:18):
Worker, oh so that his.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
Worker so his his employee effectively has to pick up
his boss's, fingers check him on, eyes and then straight to.
Speaker 11 (29:27):
Hospital, second, yes straight to.
Speaker 4 (29:29):
Hospital and how many fingers does your dad?
Speaker 3 (29:31):
Have?
Speaker 12 (29:32):
Now well he's they actually weren't able to reattach the three.
Fingers on the one, hand he's got his thumb and
his pinky.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
Ah shuckers like shuckers all the.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
Time dreamer will what is dumbtree?
Speaker 17 (29:55):
Game?
Speaker 2 (29:56):
Dream, ALRIGHTY i describe an item on Gum. Tree you
guess the price of that. Item if you guess it,
CORRECTLY i give you that dollar. Amount, zoey this has
been your dream for a long time to play this. Game,
definitely all your dreams are coming. True and g, whiz
HAVE i got an item for?
Speaker 4 (30:14):
You?
Speaker 2 (30:16):
ZOE i have got a teddy bear with human. Teeth,
This i'm gonna be, honest is the stuff of. Nightmares
so it just looks like quite a nice fluffy teddy
bear and someone someone has stuck human teeth where the
mouth is?
Speaker 3 (30:35):
It, truly truly horrific.
Speaker 4 (30:38):
As sure, There, well.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
That's what it, says that's what it. Says it looks
legit looks very, scary looks super.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
Scary but, AGAIN i mean there's obviously a fair bit
of time and effort that's gone into firstly getting the
human teeth and then secondly sticking the human teeth onto
the bear to create the. Mouth how much do you
think that absolutely crooked teddy bear is going for on gum?
Speaker 4 (31:00):
Trees are?
Speaker 10 (31:01):
WE i feel Like i'm going to go a bit
higher than WHAT i would, normally So i'm going to
go for too hundred and ten.
Speaker 4 (31:09):
Two. Dollars when you say, sorry the sentence you said,
WAS i feel Like i'm going to go a little
bit higher than WHEN i would usually. Go how oft
how often are you bidding on teddy bears human? Teeth?
Speaker 10 (31:24):
NO i just feel like when you's here of a teddy,
bear you, think, okay like thirty forty, Dollars but when
you said people, have you, know put a lot of
time and effort into, it then you think maybe.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
More, yeah you could argue it's it's art at this,
point so that's, incorrect, Though i'm. Sorry two hundred and
ten is significantly over eighty bucks for the bear with human.
Teeth still, again that's that's that's that's ours to put that, together,
will so you, KNOW i think it. Plays let's got
A zeppelin, Here, Hey, Zeppelin i'm Outstanding. Zeppelin g, whiz
(31:55):
HAVE i got an item for? You so it's an invisible,
suit it's been worn only, twice still has a new.
Smell we'll fit up to a six foot, tall thirty
four inch. Waist had matching, choes but seem to have misplaced.
Them that's the description invisible. Suit SO i can see
the picture, here it's just OBVIOUSLY i can just see
(32:15):
the coat hanger because.
Speaker 4 (32:17):
The suit is.
Speaker 3 (32:18):
Invisible very.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
Clever how much do you think this person is selling
the invisible suit for.
Speaker 4 (32:26):
Two grand?
Speaker 3 (32:28):
TWO i mean that's that's an outrageous. Price but it
is an outrageous. Item But i'm gonna say, incorrect it's.
Lower it's cheaper than. That this is a bargain invisible.
Speaker 4 (32:35):
SUIT i. AGREE i Like zeppelin's tactic because you know
if it is actually an invisible so you never.
Speaker 3 (32:42):
Know right until you're buying.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
It until that is, True that is, True, yeah exactly,
Right it's. PRICELESS i, mean at the end of the,
Day Harry potter's invisibility. Cloathes you're definitely hellow priceless price.
Speaker 2 (32:55):
On that bloody earth and if it was on Gum
tree to go for a fair Bit zeppelin give your second, guest,
though it's under two thousand dollars for.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
The invisible suit.
Speaker 20 (33:06):
Five, hundred five.
Speaker 4 (33:07):
Hundred obviously you're, closer but.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
Incorrect, Incorrect the invisible suit goes for a hundred.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
Bucks guys that it.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
Is a cheap.
Speaker 3 (33:15):
Bar yeah, right.
Speaker 11 (33:18):

Speaker 4 (33:19):
Mate all, right let's go to k. Here, kay would
you buy? It by the, way the Invisible?
Speaker 2 (33:25):
SUIT i JUST i THINK i think you'd have to
be a great moment in this radio studio WHEN i
put it on for the first.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
Time my, QUESTION i think we have to buy. It my,
question my question for you, though is why isn't the
coat hanger? Invisible? Oh, yeah that's how you know it's a.
Hoax oh, well you should only be seeing you should
only be seeing the.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
Hook on be seeing the. Hook you can see the
whole coat hanger as you've picked the eyes out of.
It there's nothing on that code. Hanger, okay, sorry we're
so glad we sort of that out flowing that one wide.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
Open, okay you want an, Idol i've got one for. You,
okay here it is silicon realistic. Feet so just, honestly
this looks like a couple of feet that you've just
chopped off a, goodava.
Speaker 3 (34:13):

Speaker 4 (34:13):
Body it looks real.
Speaker 3 (34:15):

Speaker 4 (34:48):
It i'm not into. THEM i into other. THINGS i
can start labeling them AND i THINK i get in.
Trouble BUT i think that they are nice. Feet the lady's.
Feet they're, delicate, dainty very. Dainty like If cinderella Just cinderella's,
FEET i would say that that's the. Shoe the shoe
would have gone on one of those.
Speaker 10 (35:03):

of those things where you, know instead of saying hello

(38:08):
just saying something completely. Different the same thing happened In
japan WHERE i said there was something MUNDANE i was
trying to, say but what it sounded like Was i'm

i did manage to ram his car off the road
on the way to, filming so he's been in the.
Cars but, yeah my dad can. Paign my dad used
(39:39):
to be able to. Paint my dad used to paint
motorcycle fuel tanks for like fantasy art dragons and, things
and then he like that was that was in way
and then he moved to tas him became a realistic.
Agent so.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
He really has inspired all of YOUR tv as, well
because then Obviously Rose haven was agents In. Tasman now
you're doing painting or, portraits which is also inspired by,
that or YOUR tv choices inspired by your, Dad, LUKE

Speaker 11 (40:51):
That oh, YEAH i made A so the baby's first
birthday is also their milk adversary when you of, breastfeeding
and SO i made A i made a boob, cake
and we still don't need. It it's more of a.
Display ALL i sacrificed its, edibility it's edibleness for the.
(41:17):
Means so probably needed to stay in the, freege BUT
i wanted me to see it since they woke. Up
SO i just all left it out for so and
and to get to mold the. Breast SO i started
off trying to use like a nice to try and,
carvet but THEN i was just doing the icing when
everywhere AND i was using my. Fingers it was it
(41:39):
wasn't it's not great to, eat BUT i think it
looked it came out, alright it's still. Cancer did he
make along the way making a boot? Track it?
Speaker 4 (41:49):
Did what Did amy think of a? Boobcake their fans
they liked.
Speaker 11 (41:55):
IT i it was the. Effort they didn't try. It
they didn't need any mostly on my recommendation not too
but they enjoyed. It they enjoy the idea of, it
which is the most important thing when it comes to take.
Speaker 4 (42:08):
It Very i'm so glad that you're not contributing to
this Show portraitist of The, year although in some WAYS
i kind OF i kind of not LIKE i would
just like to see your. Attempt but it looks like
a wonderful show that you got, here LIKE ABC i
view if you wole go and check it. Out what what,
like what are the sort of styles of people are,
using and what's your favorite item that actually has been
(42:30):
a portrait subject?
Speaker 11 (42:32):
There Margaret pomery has brought in a photo of her
and one of her favorite, filmmakers which meant that the
artists tattoo it potentially draw two, portraits BECAUSE i had
to Draw margaret in real life and Then margaret in
a photo and so that was really tricky to work
figure out how to do. That and Then Ken dan
had a really really fancy cardigan on and so they're,
(42:55):
like Oh, god how to draw? This and my, favorite my,
favorite if you really want to throw if you guys
have a river citters bring in like a FOUR d oscillating,
cube almost beyond given perception and come up with that's
and but my favorite was like watching how people, Were oh,
(43:21):
sorry my wife just came in and gave me the thumbs.
Up i'm not sure what that's, about But i'm having
sure to finding.
Speaker 4 (43:24):
