Speaker 1 (00:04):
The Will and Woody podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Woods, You've had the baby five weeks of build up
more than a Harry Potter movie. You mean really, we
were in here talking about it as r as it
wasn't a sponsored bit.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
We could have made some money off it, but you
had the sales team have really missed five.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
I don't know why we got in our heads that
so Remy came at that's my first daughter. She came
at thirty eight and a half weeks, and we were
just like, oh, if Remy came, then second baby will
come earlier than that. Hence why five weeks ago. I
came on here and was like, oh, any money moment
I could be dragged out of the studio and I
think this. I mean this really mentally played with my

(00:44):
wife and I where we were like every night we
went to bed, we were like, we do this joke.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
We'll be like, could be tonight, Yeah, could be tonight.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Five weeks every night we go could be tonight, And
then I had a little thing.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I would wake up and then go no baby funny for.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Three nights like five weeks of like you would roll
live and by the end it was just it was
almost like quite a sad, dejected, no baby.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Well, it was funny for three days on air.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
I mean I got home the other night and said
was like, if I have to hear that drop Zone
song one more time, I will do you.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Want to hear.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
We're out of the wet let's talk because we're in
the love zone. Baby, got a baby, got a baby.
So I start with the gender, the name.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
It's a girl.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
So we've had our second little girl. I've got a
I've got a just a three of the most wonderful,
lovely women at home now.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Which is extraordinary. That's so nice. Her name is Murphy, Yeah, beautiful,
which is nice. That was funny. So I was telling
the team that.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
So for the whole pregnancy, we were we didn't know
what gender we were having for the whole pregnancy, and
we love the name Murphy, so we were calling the
baby in the worm Murphy for the whole time. It
was only I'm going to say within the last five
weeks where the baby was a bit late, where I
was like.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Maybe it's a boy. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
It was the first time that I was like, there
is a chance this is a boy. And then especially
when it was over due, I was like it's a prick.
It's a boy. He's making this way. It's definitely a boy.
So we actually we had a different name for a boy. Yeah,
but then obviously it's a girl, so we got to
call herm Murphy beautiful, which was really really nice.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
And how to go? How did it all go?

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Like in the birth suite, like the lead up, because
I mean, I just got a message from you just
saying we're on.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Yeah, sorry I didn't. Yeah, I had no time tone.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
No, no, I knew exactly what you were talking about. I
assumed you weren't talking about a game of tennis.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
That I'd missed it something. No, no, no, I knew
that that was going on. So what happened to run?
So wild? It was? It was totally wild.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Yeah, went into labor at home, and so we knew
in the morning. Yes, and so we knew from our
first birth. And this is conversations we've had with our
ob and the mids. Is that because MIM's labor last
time was quite fast. Yeah, they were like, don't labor
at home, Like as soon as you think you're in labor.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Oh yeah, that's right, yeap, come in straight away.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
So we drove in straight away, and thankfully we did
because in the car things started amping up very similar
to last time, where it was like, okay, we're in
pretty decent contractions now yeah, and then so got straight
into the birth suite, which was great. And then I
think this time round, just because we've done it once,
we just had.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
A few more ways of dealing with the labor pains.
So it was like flash cards, did you get the
flash cards out? So what you're talking about, thank you
for bringing up, because I mean I didn't want to
bring it up. We've been talking about it for ages
on the show. We've been talking about you taking these
buddy lemonaded flash cards on the flash cards. So I
caught a bit of blue tag. So blue tacked up

(03:49):
the flash cards?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Are you actually so you were just saying, before the
contractions are ramping up substantially in the car, you still
spent the time in the birth suite to blue tack
up each flash card.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
So I respect the hell out of that. Under under
the guard no, no, under the guards of my wife.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Because she also got friends of hers to write down
motivational things to her. Oh nice, So she was them
on the wall really badly. So she kept looking at them,
so I blue tacked them. Then blue tacked the flash
cards there, and these were little offerings that I was
providing tom of like trying to get in the shower,
let's change position, get in the birth swing, going to
roll over, do you want to massage here?

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Kind of thing?

Speaker 3 (04:24):
So had them up, but to be honest, things ramped up.
I didn't look at the flash cards.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Once, so good, so good did not say this.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
And also I think I argued myself though, because I
loved the flash card. I just knew I just the
things to offer. Yeah, so weirdful.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
We hit ower early, which was good because we have
mims in pain. How much give me here? Well, how
much do you want? I think people like birth stories.
But that's fine.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
I mean I just expected at this point I had
a cup of tea.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
So she's in the shower. Yeah, so hitch out.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
So the other thing, which is very different to the
first birth, is that so first birth, we hit the gas.
We were totally fine with drugs effectively, so to deal
with the pain MIM this time around was like I
want to go drug free. Yeah nice, which was like, awesome,
let's do that. And I think part of that was
to not have the drugs as an option. As soon
as like an epidural or something was an option, she

(05:17):
would have taken it because the pain just ramps up
so quickly. So we were in shower, which meant I
was I was down to my jocks pretty quick as well.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
So I'm it's like another unnecessary detail. Mims in the shower,
you're in the jocks, the flash cards are up. I
don't know much more about the berth here because Mims
nude in the shower.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Yeah, and that's like I think it's fine when it's
the pregnant woman.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Mem and I have discussed this recently or like since
the birth.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
It's like it's no one was prepared for you in
your jocks though in the shower with me, and then
also when we made the move to the bed, there's
no time to do anything.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
I'm just I wrapped a towel around my waist. Why
did you get in the shower, so I wanted to
provide to pelvis.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
But why couldn't you just take your shirt off or
just get your t shirt a bit damp?

Speaker 3 (06:07):
So I was and then was like take that off
because you wanted her face on my chest?

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Okay, so it was like, I'm gonna, I'm going to
d rod. So yeah, so we.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Had unnecessary it is actually strange.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
It is a bit strange.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
And then these three midwives that the exceptional job that
are just dealing with man in Jockstrae so moved to
the bed. I'm getting So the producers ay more up next.
I'm sorry, I'm I'm giving every I'm.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
A little bit slip deprived as well.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Obviously let's let's we're going to go to AH. I
do want to talk about I think the main highlight,
which just I mean, she was We're back in it, mate,
take me to the extrawdinary. Sorry, sorry, sorry, I think
it's just worth mentioning it. It was very it was
very different to the first time.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
And you're in the shower. Yeah, I was the two cards.
I've got a towel on. It got to push.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Yes, it's beautiful, big moment when you transition from labor
to push. And so she was feeling all of it
and it got primal will screaming. So I started screaming
as well. Interesting and so in my I started grunting.
I was going like this like next to her and

(07:26):
the bed, and then I was moving between that and
oxytosin seated in oxytocin seated in, which is that thing
that we do when we cuddle. But then but then
my growling I started yelling, and so in my head
I was like, I don't want you to feel self
conscious about yelling, like get it out. I'm yelling as well.
I'm bloody going for it. So it was just the

(07:46):
two of us yelling and so then so then baby
starts coming at push and then so that was the
moment though, where baby's head was just starting to come
out and Mim went nuts, stop everything, I can't do this,
and we're like legs down. Was just like we're done here,
and I was like no, we're not doing it because
it was hurting so much.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
She was like nope, nope, nope, and so legs went down,
and then obviously midwives and no Boy were like no, no, no, no, no,
like baby is coming. It was like head is coming out.
So then legs were back up and so so baby.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
I just love. Mim just tried to shut down the shot.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Nope, not doing it, No, go back up, go back
We'll come back tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
So the draw bridge, no one else no one else is.
I don't want to.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
I don't want to scare people off, obviously, like the
last wanted, but she was like it felt like I
was being like I was ripping in half. She was
like the pain was excruciat right. So but anyway, healthy
baby came out. So it was funny though Mem wanted
to sorry, I'm sorry if scared.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Three women outside who haven't given birth. Yeah, old, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
I just pushed it back.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
I don't want to do that, but like, I want
to give credit to my my incredibly brave and strong
wife who got through all of that. So then it
got to the point as well where it was like
Mim had said she wants to pull the baby out,
which is like an option, and so the midwife said like, okay,
then reach forward pulled them was.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
Like, nah, I just want to do it anymore.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
I don't want to do it, and then the midwife
was like no, no, no, you want this, you want this,
and then Mim did lean forward, pulled the baby out,
and it was the quickest check of the downstairs. Yep,
it's a girl. It's so funny, how like it's like
we knew it was a girl.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Yeah, as well, So how did you how did she
transfer from I've got a lot of questions for you,
my god. Well you took a long time talking about
the bloody shower in your jocks, mate.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
I know it was a big moment for me obviously.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Watsch your question?

Speaker 2 (09:43):
How did she go from getting the legs down and
closed to back up? Like, did you have a word
or did someone else? Like who do you send in there?
Did you have a little power?

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Wow? And you're like, right, who's going to convince that
the baby still coming or no choice of contraction? Comes?

Speaker 3 (09:58):
Three midwives and O B and me. The legs started
going down and it was just a Greek chorus of
just grab everyone, grab everyone grabbed because the baby's head.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Was coming out. Yeah, and I suppose that's the things
you can't control at that stage, that just happens. Wanted
to happen.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
The baby was coming, so we the legs went back
up and it was just it was it was a
We were filled with beautiful midwives. We had Pip in there,
we had aerin in there, we had Lisen there, extraordinary
Linel was in the vaginal linel. Everyone was playing their part.
So then yeah, baby, baby, came out. I so then
mim had some beautiful time with the baby. I had
my first hold of Murphy, which was like, as you know,

(10:40):
it's just the first hold of the baby. It's obviously
a very special moment. My first daughter, Remy, took a
wing on me first time I held her. That was
like her thing.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
What do you mean, Oh sorry, Oh so I thought
you meant this time around.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Oh no, no, no, no, no, no no. When my first daughter
was born, the first thing she did was taking a
piece on me and Murph obviously just wanting to to
see that and raise her.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Took a pool on me. Oh wow.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
So within twenty seconds Murphy had taken a big pool
on my chestow, which was you know, also confirmed that
she's mine.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
I reckon taking a pool and why it's.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Just very me is you know, like if that's her
going for her first joke, big pool on dad's chest,
that's definitely make So that was that was a really nice,
nice it was a nice moment.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Yeah, nice moment.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
But then I'd say the biggest, the biggest moment this
time round, which was so we didn't experience the first
time round, was then.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
Oh yeah, Remy meeting Murphy.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
All right, well let's go to some traffic and you
can talk about that up next.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Okay, all right, and this is your fault. I will
put my hand up and side it's my fault. Yeah,
for sure, I apologize.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
We started and we started this thing out at you know,
we were Now we're just talking.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
About the moment.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
I'm gonna get you right there with so you can
have no more preamble, end or context. So you already
have a little girl, Remy, and we're just talking about
the moment where Remy met Murphy for the first time.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
Yes, so this was four hours after the birth, so
we were really keen on Remy getting to meet Murphy
as soon as possible, just you know, just because you know,
she's she's.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Part of it, she's part of the family.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
So it just right and we were just we were
I was just so excited about that moment to bring
them in, and Remy was.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
She's very she's three years old.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
She's very aware of the fact that the baby was
in the tummy and a baby was coming. And when
we facetimed her straight after the birth, she was like,
the baby's here, and she ran, she ran around in
the circle and the baby's here, and my baby's here,
and she was dancing around, which was really nice. And
then because a little girls, didn't she from the from
the start, she was like, it's a girl. It is
a girl. Whole pregnancy. She did know that you'd had
a girl yet, or did you? But again, this wasn't

(12:43):
a surprise to her. I was like, of course, it's
a girl. Yeah, I've known it's a girl the entire time.
So she danced around, and then then so Mims. She
was with MIM's mum at that stage, and she tried
on four different outfits before going because she wanted to.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Get the outfit. And then she came in, why is
this so emotional for you? Oh? Mate, you wait until
you I'm asking that question. Was it emotional for you?

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Well, because so you have your first child and you
just you just can't imagine loving something so much, and
then you have a second child and again that love
floods you again. And then you see these two things
that you love more than anything, loving each other. Yeah,
and knowing and as soon as so, as soon as remy.

(13:33):
So they came into the hospital room and she came
in with gifts because she wanted to give a present
to Merv. You know, she was so excited to see
her and wanted to hold her straight away, which actually
was a bit of a worry, to be honest. You
was four hours old, and it was like, I don't
know if you can hold the baby, but you know,
you kind of know that there's this bond between you
two now and you two will always have each other's

(13:53):
backs and you will love each other so much.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
And I don't know, as for me.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
As a parent, I saw that and it kind of like,
not that I'm going anywhere anytime soon, but I was like,
you two will always have each other, so even if
I'm not around, you two have got each other's backs.
And I don't know if that for me just made
my heart explode. And so at the moment where eventually
so Remy was really keen on holding little Murphy. So

(14:21):
we kind of set up just massive pillow forts around
her and was like, yeah, no, we trusted, we trudged,
just get in the middle of that pillow fort like
Andrew Murphy and and and I mean watching that was crazy.
I mean Remy kept saying, it's my baby, which she
hasn't really got around like she has I'm not sure
she fully understands it, like it's not her baby, yeah yet,
but to her it's her baby. Wow. She also calls

(14:43):
the baby Sophia wow, refuses to call the baby Murphy's
was just like it's Murphy. But I've got a tiny
bit of a tiny bit of audio. I just did,
like a little video. This probably won't even make sense,
but basically Murphy doing that thing that babies do and
just moving her hands around and she kind of touched

(15:05):
she touched Remy's face. Yeah, and so this is Remy
holding Murphy and Remy's reaction to that.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Okay, this is pretty cool. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
Bottom line, it's awesome. That's great, mate, I got three
girls at home. I'm the luckiest man alive. Beautiful, it's
it's it's awesome.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
That's so good. I love you girls a lot.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
You're probably not listening, but I think, well, I mean
the first and foremost though, like.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
If you're just tuned in, by the way, what he
is not dying. He's just at a kid. I know
it does sound like he's uh you.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
Think about that. I don't want to go there, but.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
Yeah, play commercial radio, commercial radio. But my girls will
be fine.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
They will mate.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
You had a beautiful experience last night. I'm so happy
for you. It's got a brand new little girl in
the world. Her name is Murphy. Let's talk about it
more during the week. I also had an equally transcendent
experience last night, equally as emotional.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
Yeah, there's gonna be some tears up next as well.
What'd you do? I saw oasis?

Speaker 5 (16:20):
As I said, I had an equally emotional experience last night,
and to an oasis.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
Yeah, let's go there. Are you comfortable to go? There?
Are talking about a few tears. You know, I'm here
with you. You held my hands with the birth story.
I get it. I'm here for you. So I got
I mean, you know me like I only know one way.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
At concerts, I went in front and center deep sixty
thousand people at Marvel Stadium. Yeah, I was probably like
twenty meters from them.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Were you the one who was a flair confirmer? No? No?
Was it? It was loud though, like loud, like so loud,
like so loud. I meant like a dad very so loud.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
No, no, no, no, I dj' on Friday night for a while,
like blew my ears off.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Friday Night.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
It was like Sunday night I got home, my ears
were like, like it was so loud the beaming in.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
My ears that it was like noisy. Oh, I couldn't sleep.
This is me, This is me front, this is me
front and center. This is the one first song take like.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Oh, like sixty thousand people screaming their lungs. And by
the way, not not just not just sixty thousand people,
like sixty thousand middle aged beer in the belly, men.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
That haven't been out for five years and it felt
like they could sing to anything comfortably in a group
of people for thirty years, like their whole lives that
haven't felt comfortable singing, and then all of a sudden
they got in there.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
There's a bit of argie bargie at the Starff, because you.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Know, you still wanted to look manly, and everyone had
a tray of four beers, and you know, I was
a little bit of like looking at everyone cross eyed
and no one really smiled. But then as soon as
they started playing, they're singing. And then to the point
where like when we left, I was walking, I was
walking to Southern Cross Stacean through docklands in the pouring rain,
and everyone was still singing a cappella.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
How it is? It's on the drums? Who the guy
just drum came, let's go that sounds.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
It was unbelievable And like I mean, if anyone gets
a chance to go in Sydney and they're going to
Sitey next week, there was this just like the theater
between these two guys who haven't spoken for twenty years
was as good.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Like Noel is still this raging introvert. Liam is still
an absolute pratt.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Like he came out, he's wearing the Parker, he's got
the son, he's on Melbourne.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
How is it? You know, it's just like he's just
a chab. He's just he doesn't care about anything. You know.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
After each song he's not he's not standing there talking.
He'll just he'll just finish the song and just go decent.
That's awesome, what a rockstar decent?

Speaker 1 (19:19):
What he'll go like? Well then well then everyone? What
does well in mean?

Speaker 2 (19:24):
Like it's like a football term like great, good, tackle, proper,
proper And do.

Speaker 1 (19:30):
You do you get the impression that they like each
other now.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Or was this like Liam instigated the first hug and
the last hug? I did that hugged and every time
Nol sung, I mean, if you know a way it
says like half the World Away or Acquiesce or any
of those songs that he wrote for him. Liam left
the stage makes it so watchable. Then together that was
still awesome, Like that was almost the best part. It

(19:52):
was just like they were almost you know, the best
part about OAYS has always been this like silent competition.
It's like, I'm this great songwriter who hasn't got the
bravado to be a front man because the womb of
Noel went and did his own stuff, but it was
still ship. He toured, he like opened for you two
or something, people like it was a disaster. As soon
as Liam left the stage, it was nice for a
little bit. That was like getting back out there, Yeah,

(20:13):
like I want to see you guys. And there was
the same thing you could like every time that Noel
would have a guitar lead part, you could just see
this bit on Liam when he was just like just
let me sing again, like just so it was kind
of it was beautiful.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
It was really nice. And you were saying off there
that you want to become more like Lamb.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Well, I I kind of at this moment I think
where I was like, it's you know, because it was
kind of reminded me of the you know, this is
going to sound really bad, but like the golden age
of obnoxious men of just like you know, like at
the end of the day, I.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
Want to return to that. I love it, you know,
I just I came in here.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
I posted on social media seven times this morning because
seven Yeah, it's seven stories.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
Seven stories. Well, what of it's my life? Who cares?

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Deleted Instagram immediately afterwards. That's through the phone, through the
phone in.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
The water delete Insacram was caring no no, no, didam
would LIAMB would keep it?

Speaker 1 (21:02):
No? No, no, no no, I couldn't do it. Okay,
you're not that level yet.

Speaker 3 (21:05):
But sorry, sorry, sorry, let's got into you do in
instagram souse.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
I love this you on social media is my favorite thing.
Yeah when you say you just like captured your life,
what are we talking? Like breakfast just posted some stuff
in the weekend, my meal on a.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
Play, my partner, my partner giggling, some stuff from me DJing,
some stuff from Oasis.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
I posted some stuff from Oasis. Oh so sorry? In stories, Yeah,
well you did your weekend? Seven stories Max's trick or treating.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
You're supposed to do stories, I think in the moment,
and then you do a post over your weekend.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
Just did just did the story. I just too much gear.
So I did that. Yea, So I did that when
I got home posted the stories. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
I sent my boss a message earlier today where I
was just like, not doing that. Yeah, if he's listening
to that, Jae's I'm not. I haven't earn it back
from him. So yeah, I'm feeling a bit anxious about
that now. The Liam, the Liam gallaghery and he's wearing
off there. But also like when I got home, like
I was just and I was really invigorated, and Max
was having an asthma attack. Yeah right yeah and normally

(22:02):
and Sam was Sam was like I think she's having
asked for and I was like, oh yeah, cool, I'll
get the VENTL and A.

Speaker 6 (22:06):
Normally I'm like, oh yeah, you know, sweetheart, do you
want to Yeah, you know, I got to put the
puffer and stuff. I was like, yeah, I just got
in there, just chucked it on her. Yeah, which was good,
which is good forlidative, Like I know what you need.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
He is going to do it. Yeah. I didn't ask her.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
I was just like here we go, puffa bang, and
then after each puff, I was like, yeah, well then proper?

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Well what do you say?

Speaker 4 (22:31):
Along?

Speaker 1 (22:33):
All right?

Speaker 3 (22:34):
You're calling us now in thirteen one, six y five.
You're convincing us that you're in the car with someone else.
We decide is someone else actually there or you're just
putting on a voice? Got Anthony here? Hi Anthony?

Speaker 1 (22:47):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (22:48):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (22:48):
Well?

Speaker 1 (22:48):
How old are you? Anthony? I'm twelve twelve? Okay, now dramas.
Who are you in the car with? Mate? I with
my friend Jason, Jason? Okay, can you check Jason on
the phone please?

Speaker 3 (23:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Hello Jason? How was school today? Mate?

Speaker 5 (23:10):
Good?

Speaker 3 (23:12):
What are you?

Speaker 1 (23:13):
What are you and Anthony up to this afternoon? You
have a bit of a playdate.

Speaker 3 (23:17):
We're just gonna like go to the playground and hang
out and stuff.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
That's tight. Can I hear from Anthony again? Please?

Speaker 2 (23:27):
Yep?

Speaker 1 (23:30):
Hello Anthony? What's your favorite playground equipment?

Speaker 2 (23:35):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (23:36):
The swing swing? Yeah, it's it's a it's a hot ride.
Will I'm hearing two different voices? Wow, okay, Wow, I'm
not one hundred percent of that at all. Really, Yeah,
you want to go with me. You're provived, is what
I said about I believe we shouldn't go with me. Yeah,

(23:56):
I feel like I think Anthony could be just one person.
But you know that I haven't slept Anthony. We think
it's just you in the car. Yes, well, thank you. Wow,
twelve year old played mate Anthony. Thanks for playing mate,
great work.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
I can send you a I was going to tell you,
can you hear atu holder? But yeah, you put soft
drink in there. You put soft drink in a stubby holder.
That's fine. Enjoy. Let's go to Susan here. Hi, Susan. Hello,
it's a bit of prizing in here. I don't know
what is going on. This prize sheet is looking decrepit.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
Susan. You're a regular listener to our show. What kind
of random prizes would you like us to have in
our repertoire? What's what's desired by the community? Ah, any
sort of gift card at the moment?

Speaker 1 (24:51):
Movie tickets, Susan, Movie.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
Tickets is fantastic. Okay, gift cards, movie tickets?

Speaker 1 (24:57):
All right? Well, how do you feel about stubby holders
to twelve year olds?

Speaker 7 (25:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (25:03):
Probably not.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Don't get young that up A little bit We'll fly
is like, you know, Will's best mum and he hits
it to his mum or something that's cude. We could
write world's best mom over the top of it. We'll
work on Congratulations wood Thanks Susan. I really appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
I really loved your how emotional you are. I was
getting emotional listening to you.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
Don't take me there, Susan. What about when I was
talking about Oasis? Susan, did that also take you there? Oh?

Speaker 3 (25:30):
No, not what.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
You listen to? It your well maybe not your voice.
Who are you in the car with. I'm in the
car with my friend Abby from the UK, Just from
the UK. Okay for Oasis? Oh yeah? What's she here
for Oasis season?

Speaker 3 (25:47):
She doesn't like Oasis?

Speaker 1 (25:48):
There you go, all right, a bunch of moffets, a
couple of I like it. Throw Abby on the phone, please, Susan. Okay, Hello,
get a Abby. Will's a massive Oasis fan. Why do
you think they're a pack of up's? Oh because no, No,

(26:15):
you guys are having a great Wednesday afternoon. It's well
and the babies Woodrow has had. Why should they? Mimi
has had?

Speaker 2 (26:31):
The baby more important than little Murphy in the world. Finally, guys,
I'm sure it'll be able to see that our socials
a little bit later on, which.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
Yes, But I think equally important is the most recent
Kim Kadashian news well, which we're going to have to cover.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
Yeah, so we have to. Just before I dip into that,
I do want to confirm you studied law. You did
the law thing. How many years did it take you
and how hard was it?

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Uh? Well, I did it while I was working full time,
so it took me ten years to I did a
double degree arts law, majored in French and history.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
It's bloody impressive, mate. Thank you broke into shingles. I
think in your final example it was so full on.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
So for you, Yeah, while I was, I was doing
the breakfast shot at the same time. Yeah, I should
say people want to do it.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
It was.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
It was fine, But just don't do a full time
job by trying to do it. No, that's good advice.
That's good advice.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
So anyway, with all that going on for you, ten
years of your life doing that, I'm just curious to
ask you how you're going to feel about this next
piece of audio they're going to play for you. So
Kim was doing a the Vanity fairsl Detective Test series.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
It's a good bit.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
So they get to ask you questions I know if
you're lying, and well, yeah, she was asked about using
chat GPT during law exams.

Speaker 7 (27:43):
I use it for legal advice. I'll take a picture
and snap it and like put it in there. They're
always wrong. It has made me fail test all the time.
And then I'll get mad and I'll like yell at
it and be like, you're going to make me fail?
How does like that make you feel? And then I'll
see back to me, this is just teaching you to

(28:03):
trust your own instincts. Who knew the answer?

Speaker 3 (28:08):
And that make you feel that she was doing a
law well, I mean she's doing a law program. Yeah,
I'm not sure how that differs from a law degree.
Yeah yeah, but she just she just chat gpt the questions.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
I don't I actually don't mind it.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
Actually, the system's broken, to be honest, I think it's
ridiculous that you've got to do a three hour written
exam on what you remember for for anything. I think
education in general is really bad in that respect.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
I think there's any other way to do it.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
But I remember sitting my law exams and being like,
this is the dumbest thing, Like I will never remember
this information past the day that I write it down
on this piece of paper, and I haven't used it since.
So I actually, I actually don't mind that, and I
think that it's actually on educational establishments to come up
with more creative ways to test people, whetherby they can't

(28:51):
use technology.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
Preach brother, I did very much.

Speaker 3 (28:55):
I did not see what is that music? That's the
Kardashian right, and you need to get because you are team.
You are a team like that.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
What I do want to focus on that. Really, I
think that's fine whatever.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
But the thing that she highlighted though, is that chat
GPT was wrong a lot of the time, was getting
all of her questions wrong in the exam. And again
from this, I just want to double down on my
idea that we shouldn't be asking chat GPT questions.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
No, I'm over that. I hate that we're all asked
deleted it GPT, deleted it question.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
Did Mark the man Daniel tell you who's fact about
chat GPT?

Speaker 1 (29:28):
No, we'll get it later because I will get it
because I think fact when we've got you very good. Fact. Oh,
we'll get it later.

Speaker 3 (29:36):
I think when we've got you in a radio studio,
people should just be asking you, my friend. So look,
thirteen one oh sixty five is our question. Maybe you
were thinking about asking chat GPT a question. Don't I
don't want to do stopping your tracks right now you're
probably driving. Just call us thirteen one oh sixty five.
Don't ask chat GPT, ask will. We've done it before

(29:57):
and it was a raging success. I have listened how
to get bitten by a snake? What time of day
the snakes generally attack? Dricking, it's good to goggle salt
water every morning?

Speaker 1 (30:06):
And wine.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
What's the difference between moisturizing cream and moisturizing lotion? You
only fell down at lotion v cream, but for the
others you were actually quite good. I'll kick things off.
Can I sweat on my baby?

Speaker 1 (30:18):
Sure? You one hundred percent? Ury about that? That's extraordinary? Okay, well,
like really, I mean yeah, I think like, I like yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
But you know, my general philosophy with babies is they
you know, they're pretty resilient things.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Okay, sweating none baby? Think it's also good year.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Why would the why would you not be able to
splitting a baby like a baby for you know four
for four hundred million years, a baby has probably been
strapped to you know, some sort of Neanderthal style human.

Speaker 3 (30:45):
I don't think then had the baby carriers might have
been strapped with a vine of some sort a fashion
of vineyn.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
We do want to fact check you real quick with
CHET GPT, just to just to make sure I thought
we disagreed Church GPT was wrong. What does fact check you?
But it's not fact checking if it was right, it
is true. To see what chat JPT thinks, Tommy, What
does chat think?

Speaker 8 (31:06):
It says it's best to avoid sweating directly on a
baby if you can help it. Why a couple of
reasons skin sensitivity, overheating, and hygiene. Yeah, see, I think
that's best.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
It's all pretty good reasons.

Speaker 3 (31:19):
I'll ask you one more, by the way, thirteen one
oh sixty five. Now is your opportunity?

Speaker 2 (31:22):
What do you mean why they you go for a
run and then you don't pick up your baby because
you're sweating.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
I was just doing skin to skin with her this morning,
and I went for a walk and I realized halfway
through I was profusely sweating. And then I was like,
you are covered in that situation, and I was about
Chat to Chat JPT and then I was like, hanging
a second, going in the studio, I'll ask, well, anyway,
if you've got a question, thirteen one oh sixty five
is the number ask will It was.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
Horses for courses with babies. Guys, obviously, if you don't
want to swit in your baby, don't swit in your baby.

Speaker 5 (31:50):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
Nice, you know what I mean. This is why you're
the best, mate, This is why you're the best. You
just got to beat yourself.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
I've just realized that Chat JPT just goes the cautious
approach with everything that's true, and that's how you win.

Speaker 3 (31:59):
And I've got such an intelligent person in the studio
sitting across from me.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
Yeah, I don't think anyone, but you're the only I mean,
I realized there's a bit of a joke, but like,
you're the only person.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
Who buys into this joke. That's ridiculous. People should just
be asking, you know, I mean.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
Kim Kardashian confirmed it she had a fight with Chat
because Chat's getting all of her exam questions wrong. Right now,
before we get into more questions for will because, as
you said, g Whiz, I've never seen so many people
calling Talia. You've just got to comment on the current
law system or something. You're a law student, Talia.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
Yes, Hi, good afternoon, Talia.

Speaker 7 (32:33):
Hi.

Speaker 4 (32:33):
Yes, I am a law student and I actually use
chat GPT quite often, maybe too often for the lacking
of there you go.

Speaker 1 (32:43):
All right, Well, thanks for sharing that, Talia.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
Let's get I think you're silly if you're at school
and you're not using chat GPT.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
To be perfectly honest with you, why wouldn't you. It's
just more efficient, isn't it.

Speaker 2 (32:53):
Well, it depends what you're using it for, like if
you actually want to retain the information. If you're getting
it to write an essay, it's probably not going to
be probably not going to learn much. If you're getting
it to like synthesize something for you so you could
tend to key the take homes out of it. Yeah, yeah,
that's just genius. I think people professionally would use it
well these days, sure, but also we can professionally use you.

(33:13):
You just you're great at answering questions. I've got a
few more for you. We'll get to listeners in a second.
I think it was just getting into your questions.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
Mate. I don't know why you've got people to.

Speaker 3 (33:20):
Call for this, but they wanted. They want to know answers,
they want they demand answers. When I listened to this
radio show for one and six five, you've got one.
So these are genuinely things that I have gone to
chat GPT in the last couple of days.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
Right, but I've stopped a baby related because you know,
I don't know much about that.

Speaker 3 (33:37):
No, okay, what does loquacious mean? I don't know what
the hell I saw it like I saw it. So
I saw in the book a dragon was commenting on humans.
Oh yeah, and he said they're they're more loquacious than
I remember. Only our producer live knows what does loquacious mean.

Speaker 1 (33:56):
It means like talkative. Oh that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (34:01):
In in Harry Potter when Hermione in the Goblet of Fire,
Hermione is dating.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
That like guy from like Cedric degree. Oh no, don't
from strength from Victor Crum. Aquacious, live, brilliant live. This
could just be this is an absolute surprise packet. She's
a weapon.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
She came on here the other day in gold impression
if no one saw that and then I found out
she DJ is a teletubby on the weekend.

Speaker 1 (34:28):
Yeah, man, yeah, yeah, yeah, she's What can't you do?
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
Junior Analyse is not here and no one's saying he's
a b sleep with one eye open. You're not here,
movie feet lazy seat, you actually lost the seat. Li'ves
taking that spot?

Speaker 1 (34:41):
Very comfortable.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
Another one for you, Yeah, sorry, we'll get a listener, Brian, Brian,
you got a question for Will Hey. Yeah, First of all,
its huge congratulations and order.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
Thanks so much, Brian appreciated.

Speaker 6 (34:53):
Honor to be front and center in OAS's concert.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
Done Brian, well done right at least half an hour ago.
And gee wiz, I love that.

Speaker 5 (35:04):
That was.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
Very good.

Speaker 1 (35:07):
You got a question for Will Brown. I just want
to come on and do that gag because that was
pretty good stuff. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (35:13):
So speed limit signs, did they come into effect when
you see them or when you pass them?

Speaker 1 (35:18):
Such a good question, Brian, I've always thought about that.
That's a very good question.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
Again, I don't know the answer, my my, I think
I remember from my when I did my driver's test. Actually,
it's actually from when you from the moment that you
pass it onwards.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
But yeah, I think so.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
But I think that it's naturally when people see the
sign then they speed up. So it's a very hard
thing for the police to enforce. But it is from
the moment that you pass it. If you double check
me on chat there tell me, oh, yes, it's from
when you pass.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 2 (35:49):
Ye there, Brian, you can have yourself a double past
to go and see the running Man. Thanks the question, mate, Brian,
and great gag to open up you at the Oasis
gig Brian.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
No, no, no, I'm not special enough.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
That's it. That's a question for you. Will I mean
you you are You're none from three? No, I just
got the sign. One was a guess. It wasn't a guess.
I remember from driving test. All right, what's the difference
for a while, so, what's the difference between dish soap? Yeah,
and like laundry detergent?

Speaker 2 (36:24):
What's like can you I actually do know the answer
to this question, because it's also the difference between front
loader and top loader washing powder, amount of bubbles.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
Not joking, so who's got more?

Speaker 2 (36:39):
Well, so, obviously I imagine a dish washing soap is
more alkaline. Right, so it's less bubbly. Because if you
ever tried to put because I have put dish.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
Washing in a washing machine before, you can't do it.
The whole thing blows. It doesn't work.

Speaker 2 (36:52):
Now, get the whole thing just bubbles out, explodes pretty
much with bubbles. So there you know, Yeah, that is
actually I've done that.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
That's a big thing. There done, all right, Final one, Well,
that's sorry. That's probably why you don't put dishwaps.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
I don't know if that's not like chemically what's different
between them, But that is why you wouldn't put dishwashing
detergent in a dishwasher or a washing machine, because you know,
when you've got to put a certain dish washing tablet
in a washing machine, everyone who's put washing detergent in
a dishwasher knows that it's a bad idea yea, more.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
Bubbles than you can ever imagine, the bubble factor. It's
just bubbles. The whole thing turns into bubbles. Okay, yeah,
Final one.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
Yeah, is there any chance any like, is there any
shred of a chance that dragons were real?

Speaker 1 (37:35):
As in like a.

Speaker 2 (37:36):
What sort of a dragon are we talking? Because there's
a kimono dragon that exists in Indonesia right now, now.

Speaker 3 (37:40):
I'm talking about like, would there is there any world
where there was maybe a dinosaur the breadth fire.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
Now, all right, that wraps it up

Speaker 6 (37:47):
For the way
