Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well and Woody podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Minnie, Hey, it's Welling Body on your Friday, brought to
you by missing this afternoon now wards. This does need
context because you and I interviewed Kyler and Oak from
a bed. Now I needed. The first thing I needed
is clarify here she was not in the bed right.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Nope, So that.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Request obviously went through the record company and came back
with a swift No. Of course Robbie Williams might have
pulled that off back in the day, but no, we
were not interviewing Kylmon and Oak from bed.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
She was on a.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Zoom and we it was a zoom audio. It was
actually a zoom audio. I'm gonna pull the curtain down
here a little bit. So they actually said to us,
she's not going to turn her video on totally, which
is why you and I were in bed, because we
were like, who cares, don't need to be in a studio.
We can sit in bed. We were traveling and traveling
all day. We woke up in this motel today and
we were like, you know what, let's just do the
interview in bed together. She's not going to know immediately

(00:53):
the audio sounded a bit weird, and she was like,
where are you guys? And we were actually giggling like
school girls, like I don't know what happened. We just
went into school camp year five mode. She was like
where are you? We were like in a bed and
she was like, okay, turn your video on.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
She said, She goes, I'm going to plays a bit
similar and wait till you hear where that goes?

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Hi, Kylie, how are you?

Speaker 4 (01:17):
Dum to you?

Speaker 1 (01:19):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Hi? We're very matchy here.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
I like it.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
We're actually in bed together. Well, it's late.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
There or something?

Speaker 2 (01:28):
A cup of coco?

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Oh no, we don't.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Actually, I actually have got one up there that I've
been brewing on the side. Mate, Let's talk about the
new record, shall we Tension out now?

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Very exciting?

Speaker 2 (01:41):
You must be excited to finally have it all out there.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Oh, it's crazy exciting. It's not even been out for
a week yet. In the world. Obviously, I've been It's
been a long time in my life, like two years
ago on this as always water Journey. But I feel
like there's a lot within this album, and just not
with Padam, p damn everyone, No one could be the
same anymore. She was like Padam and then roll into

(02:07):
attention and now people are discovering more in the album
It's yeah, it's a really special time for me.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
Just on Padamn Kylie. I had a friend who very
recently bought a new pair of pants, and when he
entered the room wearing incredibly exciting, incredibly exciting. I've got
a new young baby, so really small things excite me
these days. But he walked into this room.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Well, you're in being with another man, don't say small
things excite you. He's walking.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
He walked into a room and he had these new
pants on. He was very excited about these pants, and
he just sort of like did a spin. He clicked
his fingers and he said, perdamn. Now I had no
idea what he was referring to. So I feel like
you're the right person to ask here, what do you
actually mean when you say.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Perdam I think for your friends with the whole pants situation,
he was meaning check me out, Yes, predamn beformentioned new pants?
Can I just check away? Like meaning long pant or
meaning like it was other pants?

Speaker 4 (03:21):
It was actually it was a three quarter pant. Actually
it was right in between there. Yeah, it was like
a tied It was a tied three quarter pair. I mean,
if I'm to be really honest and critical, I didn't
think it was a pant worthy of a padan. But
that's why I wanted to ask you what mean it was.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
It didn't know if it was long shorts or short
longs Okay, so he was in a three quarter ibe. Yeah,
I think great. So predam can mean hey, it can
mean hello, goodbye, it can mean or how do you predamn?
How do I predam?

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I always double? I have to. You're contractually obliged, so
you should know then, and I'm interested to get your interpretation.
Woody has irritable bow syndrome and as a result, like
he gets like really really flatulent sometimes and it's awful.
So I forced him to have a Persisto's eucalypt spray

(04:20):
in the studio because it's just it can be intolerable.
And I've said, look, are you obviously going to keep farting.
I'm happy with that, but every time you need to spray,
and to remind himself to spray, he now sprays and says,
per dam, oh.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Taking it down. I think we need to breathing and
give a French scriptor to the speculation.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
He does it with a bit of flair, like he
does with a bit of He spins on the spot,
turns a little bit camp sprays the air, and it's
a nice little like reminder, you know, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Maybe in the for it and you're going.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
And there's that multiple use of the word again.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
That's a segue you can say, you know, people have
been predamning a lot. One of my favorite moments is
my guitarists. We were heading towards stage not long ago,
and you know, you get kind of vibed up and
now's the time we're going to go, and you go
with a kind of northern accents.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Like, let's do some for damage.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
I like it.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
A page.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
I love that.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Let's say we're starting all of our radio shows, now
let's do.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Don't ever know that to me, we're in the same
bed together, let's do some damage. You got to remember
the context here, everyone, we are in the same bed together.
We can't be talking about the damage. Family show, Family
friendly Show. I actually did like the idea of the
old idea of a pdamn you know, like really, you know,
if your partners yeah exactly, like yeah, if your partner's

(06:00):
put something on it looks really good per Damn.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
Yeah, So Padam is also a very sexy song, and
I think so many of your songs could be classified
as sexy. I'm probably mincing the line here, but I
think there's a line in Padam which is like I
want to take you home and take off all your clothes.
Or you're thinking that is that?

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Is that right?

Speaker 2 (06:22):
You might just be what you're thinking.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
You flipped it, but it's closed.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
But yes, yes, okay, yes that's it. That's it. So
my partner just speaking about, you know, always having that
confidence to you know, perform sexy songs and be sexy.
My partner had a baby, I referred to it before
eleven months ago, and she was actually trying to put
back on a dress that she wanted to put on
before pregnancy and it didn't quite fit. And it was

(06:47):
actually sort of heartbreaking for me as her partner, to
see her have that moment where she I mean, I
still think she's the sexiest girl on this earth, but
to see her why not right right, but to see
her question that, you know, with you know, what she's
been through. My question would be what advice would you

(07:07):
give to women or men out there who maybe aren't
feeling so sexy and how they can be feeling sexy.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Firstly, I'd say I get it, because we all go
through those stages. I mean, I'm in my fifties now,
I've been through all the you know, all the different stages.
I've been through years of being on you know, medication
for treatment that made me it's like I was in
someone else's body, someone else's face, Like I was really
kind of puffed up for years. And we all have

(07:39):
it at different stages that insecurity, and it can become overwhelming.
So I don't know that there's an easy cut through
for that, but at least to say, oh, you're not alone.
We all feel like that. And I adore hearing you
talk like that about her, and that's just, you know,
that's love, and what we think about ourselves can be

(08:01):
soon powful, damaging sometimes self love. It's great that we
all talk about it, that you can talk openly about that.
I don't know, You've made my day hearing that. That's amazing.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Oh that's so nice.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Yes, do you think there's a bit of tension going
on here? Like have you picked up on that at all?

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Love vibes only Strong Live.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Yeah, it's true, it's true.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
Great to see you, so good to see you.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
Congratulations, thank you, thanks very much.
