that you have a president that is a cognitive mess,
that can't run for re election at the last minute,
but yet he can write, but write an opinion piece
for the Washington Post that I'm sure he had absolutely
positively nothing to do with, and you know, saying that

power and restore the public's faith in our judicial system.
And I'm listening to this and I'm looking at this
decision all because they don't like decisions that the Supreme
Court make. And then look, this has now been an
ongoing campaign. Remember when Chuck Schumer literally threatened Supreme Court

justice Remember the dosing of Supreme Court justice's homes, which
by law is illegal and nobody got punished for it.
But this is Chucky on the steps of the Supreme Court.
You know, do you listen to me, Gorsa and Kavanaugh

on the Supreme Court to reform the Supreme Court. What's
really possible there, what's realistic?

View about whether this can happen this year in a
bipartisan way.

Well, first, let's start off. The Supreme Court is a morass. First,
it's an ethical marass. The idea that wealthy individuals, many
of them right wing, can both have pay for cases
before the Court and at the same time give justices
gifts or trips is outrageous and frankly, Chief Justice Roberts
isn't doing enough to curb it. But it's a morass.

In even a worse way, this is a maga right
wing court. It's already taken the right away, the right
to choose. It could very well go further on that.
I fear it will. It's siding with the wealthiest of
individuals and the powerful interests over the average working family.
And it even threatens democracy when it says that a

president can get immunity even for certain acts in the presidency.
So this court is just a morass, both ethically and substantively.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
And then of course you have Elizabeth Warren saying the
Supreme Court is actively undermining our democracy. Understand what they're
trying to do here is they are trying to make
the Supreme Court an issue in this campaign, and they
are willing to alter the court to accumulate power, just

like they're willing to add DC statehood in Puerto Rico's
statehood because they think it will give them power in perpetuity.
It's always about power. You know, why are they talking
about mass amnesty for twelve million illegal immigrants because they
want They're hoping, well, we'll give you something a great value.

I hope you'll vote for us, right if we If
we give you something that you know people would pay
millions of dollars in Australia for, we'll give it to
you for free, You're going to vote for us, right,
That would be the implication.

Listen, we've got all the Democrats who are ready for
meaningful ethics reform to bind the Supreme Court, and we're
working on changes to the Supreme Court. It can be
term limits, it could be adding the number of justices.
Things we can do without how to have a constitutional amendment.
So we've got a Supreme Court that is actively undermining

our democracy, and I think what Joe Biden will do
over the next six months is he's going to keep
drawing that to the attention of the American people and
reminding them when they vote in November, the Supreme Court
is on the ballot, and I believe we need to
create a pathway to citizenship. All of that is a
part of what we need to do for comprehensive immigration reform.

Kamala Harris will work with Congress and get that done.

attorney for President Trump. Greg, I read your piece on
this and that this Biden proposal to reform the Supreme

Court is a shameless ployee for votes. I think you
and I are thinking the same way about this.

Yeah, and they have zero chance of achieving it. You know,
Democrats cannot simply pass a law as Joe Biden wants,
imposing term limits on justices because life terms are embedded
in the Constitution. That means they'd have to amend the Constitution.
They can't do that. It is a tremendously high bar.

You know, you have to get two thirds at both
houses of Congress or consent by two thirds of the states,
and thereafter ratification is three fourths of the states. You
can't do that, I mean, that's an impossibility. The other
thing they're trying to do is impose ethical controls on justices. Well, sorry,

but that violates the sacred separation of powers principle. So,
as I wrote it my column, all of this is
is electoral problem for Democrats. It's not remotely viable.

Let's get your take, David, because I find it so
obnoxious and to me, it's just another roundabout way for
them to make abortion front and center, because as I said,
they've got nothing that they can run on as a success.
They can't say, well, the borders are in better shape.
They can't say that our towns and cities are safer.

They can't say the economy is better. They can't say
energy prices are better. They can't say that the world
is safer. Because of their leadership, we have war on you,
war in the Middle East, war in Europe, and a
president that does not hold countries like China, Russia, Iran,
and North Korea responsible for any behavior they're involved in.

Yeah, you and gregor exactly right. And beyond all of this.
The danger with the Chuck Schumer and that sort of
approach is that it misleads the public. They carve out
these sayings like an attack on democracy. What Chuck Schumer
is proposing and others like him is a true attack
on democracy. Elections have consequences, and we know that people

run on election platforms. Is that what Supreme Court justices
they might have a chance to appoint, to nominate and
then get put into office. That's part of the process.
Nine Supreme Court justices served us well since eighteen sixty nine.
We don't mess with the Constitution, this sacred document of
ours for political purposes. And they use these terms like
reform the Court. That's not an appropriate reform would indicate

an improvement or doing something better for the court. This
would pervert the Court's purpose. Same thing. You know, we
use the term progressives to refer to the hate squad.
There's nothing progressive about them. They're reactionary bigots, so we
can't buy into their terminology. I think Greg's exactly right,
and you're exactly right. The term limits. You know, Congress

can effect, but it shouldn't, and it served us very well.
The only time it's been changed throughout history anywhere from
five to six to ten, back to nine, is for
partisan political purposes. We can't do that, really, suggest the
Chief Justice Roberts is some flaming reactionary in the opinion
on immunity, Absolutely not. Nobody could fairly suggest that. But

Schumer puts our institutions in danger, and he puts people
in danger with the kind of rhetoric that he uses,
and he misleads the public. This all to me harkens
back to Jerry Nabler in twenty nineteen saying we can't
trust the voters to put in the right kind of
person for president. That's as undemocratic as statement as any
legislator or any American could ever make.

Let me play for you, Kamala Harris saying that we
need to have the courage to stop using the term
radical Islamic terrorism, that we need to have the courage
to stop using the term illegal alien.

is urging restraint. Can you imagine if twelve American children
on a soccer field were murdered by a neighboring state
were restrained, are you kidding? We'd be tempted to level
that neighboring state into a smoking parking lot. So if
you elevate Vice President Harris to the presidency, she will

install these crazy advisors and rely on them entirely because,
as they say, she doesn't know anything about foreign policy.

as that is simply wrong and dangerous. And you know

was on what's going on in Gaza, with the Palestinians,

and when you ask them. But the main problem is
Kamala Harris at the top of the ticket. She wants
to bolster it with, you know, a significant vice presidential choice.
But you can't hide what's at the top of the ticket.

She left because of this very reason. And I mean
to have somebody that revered the FBI when he went
into it, to leave with such a bad taste in

it was my grandfather's brothers kids, and I'm friends with
one of them. His name is Billy Flynn. He's called
into this program before and he and his brother. His
brother passed away, but he and his brother were in
the FBI. They in my family growing up, and there
was a lot of law enforcement NYPD, my mama prison guard,
my daddy was, my dad was in family corporation, you know,

so a lot of a lot of law enforcement, but
they were looked at as deity. I mean if if
their names came up, and of course as they had
another brother, Jack that was a Christian brother, he was
looked at his deity too, But they were looked at

about the FBI anymore that it's been weaponized. They all
see it and politicized, and they all talk about it.
What's happened?

just keep going on and on and on, and I
don't know if everybody America fully understands just how radicalized
she is and the type of president she'd be. She
would be. This would be like AOC on steroids being president.
And I don't have any other way to put it true.
So I'm trying to make people aware of it. They

didn't give us much time to vetter, but we're going
to do our very best.

No, And I think she's trying very hard to market herself.
But as I look at the big picture and with
the illegal people coming in, I mean the very term
illegal means it's illegal for them to be here. So
in a nutshell, it's like she's not obviously fiscally minded.

And for an example, if you're living on credit card debt,
would you donate more than your take home pay to
illegal immigrants? And it's just it's like common sense of
a fifth grader. We don't have we have trillions of
dollars in debt. We can't afford to have legal aliens

on our dime. They're illegal. Are there any laws here?
None of it makes sense.

There are laws they're circumventing the law, and they've been
aiding and a vetting in the law breaking, and then
they lied to us for three years. Then they try
to blame Trump and none. And yet we have people
being murdered and raped and they don't even mention these
people's names, or if they mentioned the name, they get
it wrong, and they apologize for calling somebody illegal alien.

It's insane. We are living in an insane time. These
are people that honestly, it's it's scaring the hell out
of me. We're going to get new King Rich's take
on the state of the race coming up in a minute.
Look for far too many veterans, people that serve this
country honorably and now find themselves homeless or at risk
