The Sean Hannity Show For me, I'm the scenes, information
on freaking news and more bold inspired solutions for America.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Hi, and welcome to the Sean Hannity Show. My name
is Rose and I'll be sitting in for Sean again today.
So I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, and
I think I've got a really great show lined up
for you all this afternoon, and I'm pretty sure you'll
find it encouraging during these very interesting times that we
find ourselves in, and you know, they are very interesting times. Indeed,
(01:44):
you know, when I'm putting together show prep for a
show like this or my podcast, there are days I
wonder if I'll actually find a good story in the
middle of all the craziness each week. But you know
what I do each week, I do because the good
does exist, and in greater measure than you might even imagine.
It's just that oftentimes it's overshadowed by the bad news.
(02:08):
But I'm going to tell you it is there.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
Now.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Some people say they're depressed after hearing what's happening in
Washington every day, but that depression really is just a
feeling of hopelessness. And if we build a home for
ourselves there in that despair, then we begin to really
believe that there is no possible good thing to come
out of all of this.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
So we don't want to.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Lie there in that despair because if we do, we've
robbed ourselves of our own destinies. Now, that doesn't mean
we shouldn't be on top of what's happening in government.
What happens there does need to be talked about, just
not fretted about. And part of being a responsible citizen
is being aware, knowing what's going on around you, and yeah,
(02:48):
acknowledging it and assessing its impact on your present and
even more important, your children's future. To stay I should say,
to not stay informed or even to ignore or allow
the bad news of the day to somehow alter your
sense of well being. That's a disservice. It's a disservice
(03:09):
to not just you, but those that you care about.
And I know as well as you how discouraging it
all seems at times. But I think that if we
could wake up each morning with a sense of gratitude, well,
first of all, that we actually did wake up, Okay,
as I'm getting older, I'm like, thank you God for
another day. But I think if we could wake up
with that sense of gratitude to find that awesome gift
(03:32):
of another day, it could possibly change everything. And while
first rejoicing in that moment of awareness each morning, we
should resolve to be glad in that day, Glad for
the gift of life, Glad that we're given yet another
opportunity to discover our path. And you know that a
path that we travel each day towards redemption, not just
(03:53):
for ourselves but for our loved ones, for our neighbors,
and then for our country. Before we plant that first
foot on the ground, while we're still in bed, I
think we should think about who it is that we
are meant to be and what it is that we're
meant to do, because we have an obligation to recognize
that our first step out of bed is our first
(04:14):
step on a path that day that cannot be successfully
traveled without determination, without purpose, or without true joy. Because
you know what we are unique, you and I of
all living things, we are the only ones who have
that kind of purpose because that was how we were
intentionally created by God. And knowing just that alone should
(04:39):
give us the courage and the excitement that we need
to face every day, come what may, because each day
is a crucial part of that journey. This is the
day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be
glad in it. The decision I will not, maybe, or
I'll think about it.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
I will.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
It's up to t you and you alone entirely. So Yeah,
is there evil? Is there sadness? Is there disappointment that
awaits us some days?
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:08):
But our faith and our past experiences should remind us
that even in disappointment, there's direction, and even in sadness
there's comfort, and even when faced with evil, we can
find goodness. Darkness doesn't overcome light. It is light that
abolishes darkness. MY friend told me the other day that
(05:28):
the devil always overplaces his hand, and I thought about that,
and I thought, isn't that all you got to be
the devil in the first place. We should promise each
other that we will not allow bad news or the
concerns of the day, or disappointments to cloud our vision.
We've got to look through the clouds and see the
path ahead. Nothing should slow us down on that journey,
(05:51):
because that journey has been uniquely designed for each and
every one of us. I was thinking about something that
a very wise man once said a very long time ago.
Anyone who is among the living has hope. Yeah, hope,
And sometimes that hope comes in ways that we don't expect,
Like sometimes it comes in the actions of people choosing
(06:12):
to do good, to lift others up, choosing to restore
what's been broken. It's there in the generosity of those
who have succeeded in business and now share that success
with people who help build it. I have a story
like that for you today. It's there in a moment
in a Michigan jow when inmates joined hands on Christmas
Eve and pray together, choosing light, choosing faith, and they
(06:37):
chose each other. I have that story too for you today.
And it's there in families who keep their children safe,
who protect their hearts and minds from the harmful currents
of social media and endless screen time. Parents who are
ensuring that that next generation has a foundation that's rooted
in love and in guidance and faith and truth. It's
(07:01):
there in people returning to God, rediscovering their faith, rebuilding
their health, their homes and their relationships, and finding a
rhythm of life that heals the soul and strengthens the body.
It's there in the wise counsel of one of our
guests today, doctor Peter McCullough, reminding us that restoring health
isn't just about medicine, but about prevention, and it's about
(07:23):
personal responsibility and returning to principles that really do protect life.
His work shows that careful attention, early action, and truth
in science can save lives. We didn't have that truth,
did we, And give hope where despair threatens to take hold.
It's there in the quiet lessons from voices like my
(07:44):
other guests today, Joshua Becker showing us the power of
simplifying our lives, focusing on what matters most, and creating
space for purpose, peace and service. And it's there in
my first guest today, in the guidance of pastors like
Jack Hibbs, reminding us that faith and prayer are not optional.
(08:06):
They are the foundation of hope, and they're the stability
in a world that often feels unstable. You know, you
feel it. And when we look at the new year ahead,
we're concerned about some of the things that we haven't
seen yet, but we feel a little unstable just looking
at the things that are going on around us. But
we do see the hope also in the structures that
(08:27):
keep our community safe. We see it in leaders and
citizens who understand the value of law and order and
the presence of the National Guard helping maintain safety and
allowing families to live without fear. Even in the face
of darkness. We can see protection, We can see preparation
and strength. All of this is happening quietly, faithfully, and
(08:51):
a lot of times unseen, but it matters. It matters
more than we can sometimes measure, because the world isn't
just what is reported on the evening news. Use the
world is also the goodness that chooses to show up
every day in small ways, in large ways, in ways
that restore hearts and minds and communities. And that's what
(09:13):
this shows about today, because we've got to remind ourselves
that even in times of turmoil, the ordinary choices that
we make can shine extraordinary light. When we rise each
morning with gratitude, when we step into today with purpose,
there is light. And when we act with love and courage,
(09:36):
we are participating in something that's far bigger than ourselves.
We're shaping a legacy. People, We're leaving an imprint that
will reach further than we might ever know. And it's
a legacy of hope, a legacy of faith, a legacy
of service. So yeah, the bad news is real, the
challenges are real, but so is the good and it's
(09:58):
often far greater than we might think. So as we
go through this week, or this month, even this new year,
remember he makes known to you the path of life.
He will fill you with joy, and his presence with
eternal pleasures at his right hand. And remember too, that
each day is really a gift, and every moment is
an opportunity and every choice to act with courage and
(10:22):
kindness and faith that brings light of God's love into
a world that desperately needs it. We each of us,
we need it for each other. And in that, my friends,
we find the reason for hope. We find the reason
to rise up in the morning, to move, We find
the reason to embrace the path that's already been marked
out for us. And as we step into a brand
(10:45):
new year, I wanted today's show to do something just
a little bit different, something practical, and something that's grounding
and well honestly necessary, because if we're going to move
forward and move forward well in the new year, we
need more thans We need clarity, we need wisdom, and
we need strength both spiritually, physically and personally. So today
(11:09):
we're focusing on what it really means to stay healthy
in the year ahead. We're going to talk about how
to stay spiritually healthy when the culture feels louder and
more chaotic than ever, and we're going to talk about
how to stay physically healthy and informed and prepared in
a world that well, well, your trust has been shaken
and it has I'm thinking COVID, so are you?
Speaker 4 (11:31):
You know it?
Speaker 2 (11:32):
And we're also going to talk about something many of
us overlook, how to enter the new year uncluttered, not
just in our homes, but in our hearts and in
our priorities. So to help us do that, as I mentioned,
I invited three voices I deeply respect. Pastor Jack Hibbs
joins us to talk about staying spiritually grounded and bold
in the year ahead, rooted in truth, not in fear.
(11:55):
Joshua Becker is with us to challenge us to simplify,
to let go of what's weighing us down, and to
step into the new year with intentionality and focus. I
really need that part. And later in the program, doctor
Peter mccallaugh, I love this guy. He's going to join
us to talk about physical health, medical freedom, and what
we should be thinking about as we move forward into
(12:18):
twenty twenty six. Three conversations, but one goal entering the
new year stronger, clearer, and better prepared body, mind and spirit.
That's what I hope that I'm able to give to
you today. So you want to stay with us, because,
as you've just heard, it's a really great show that's
coming up. One of the things before we get a break,
I just want to mention my social media. You can
(12:39):
join me on roseanplugged dot com. That's my website. Instagram
is Rose unplugged and the number one, and Facebook is
Rose Unplugged. And I also have a ministry. She is
called by him dot com. Last time I was on
last week, we had a lot of prayer requests come in.
We have a prayer room where our team of women
answers every per comes in and you are kept anonymous.
(13:02):
So check it out that she is called by Him
dot com. We'll be back with more after this The
Sean Handity Show. Welcome back to the Sean Hannity Show.
You know, I mentioned the National Guard in my monologue,
and now that I live in the swamp, we talk
about that a lot. And you see their presence and
they're sweet and it's wonderful. It's not overwhelming, and I'm
(13:24):
not triggered in any way. I'm okay, I'm making it.
But when you talk to people that live down here
or inside the Beltway, they get angry. And it's funny
because it's liberals and conservatives, like a lot of them
will say what right, does anyone that doesn't live here
in DC have to criticize the presence of the National
Guard because everyone here knows what it was like before
(13:49):
we had a presence or the National Guard had a
presence in the city. So there is a difference. You
can feel it. It's palpable. And also there were problems.
I talked to a young couple last night that watched
the car jacking and they were witnesses because they literally
watched it all happen. Another couple there had seen a
(14:10):
shooting right in front of him. He was in one car,
in the car in front of him, rolled down the
window and shot at another car. These things were going
on here and so when you hear the criticisms, and
they most of it. And I've got a story later
that I'll share comes from people who don't even live here,
and they have the nerve to criticize. Walk in someone
(14:30):
else's shoes first before you do listen. I also want
to mention to my podcast. I am on a couple
of different platforms. I'm on Rumble and Spotify of course
an Apple, but I'm also on the Real Life Network
Passer Jack Kibbs is on there. Rose Unplugged is on there.
So if you're looking for my podcast, always google Rose Unplugged,
(14:51):
but real lifenetwork dot com or they have an app.
You can find it anywhere that you would search for
an app, and you can download it and have access
to some really great programming there as well. Your phone number,
our phone number, but your phone calls I do want
to take later in the show eight hundred ninety four
to one Sean eight hundred nine four one Seawan eight
(15:13):
hundred ninety four one seventy three two six, So I
do want to hear from you today. We're gonna be
talking about a couple of things that I in my monologue.
I mentioned a few things that I will get to
later in the show. But when I mentioned the inmates
that we're praying in a Michigan jail, that is very true,
(15:33):
that actually happened, and it just it gives you so
much hope, and it, you know, brings tears to your
ice because we think that everything is dire. We think
everything looks so dark and there and it's there. Yes,
I mean, there are a lot of things to be
concerned about today, but at the same time, there are
a lot of things good that are happening and we
don't even know. I mean, some of it's happening behind
(15:53):
the scenes. But there is one thing for sure, and
I want to talk about this too coming up, is
that as parents and grandparents, we need to be really
focused on what our children our grandchildren are being exposed to.
I'll be talking more about this later in the show
as well. But there are a lot of hidden dangers
out there and if you're not on top of it.
And listen, parenting has always been a full time job
(16:16):
right but it's like it's on override right now. You
have got to be there constantly. It's a lot of work.
So God bless you all when you decide to have
a child and today it's crazy, but you know what,
you can make it work. And but you've just got
to be focused and committed to that. Now, before we go,
I just want to tell you that Pastor Jack Hibbs
is joining me next when we return. He's spent decades
(16:38):
calling believers back to biblical truth, and it's in the
time that is increasingly resisting biblical truth. So we'll be
talking about his new book called to Take a Bold Stand,
and it challenges us to be resilient and effective and
have a faith in this godless age. So he is
coming up next. I love Pastor Jack. I got to
go to his church. Oh my gosh, that was fun.
(17:00):
It was quite the beautiful campus too. So next Pastor
Jack Hibbs. So stay with us.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
This is what's right with America. You're listening to the
Sean Hannity Show.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
Welcome back to the Sean Handedy Show. My name is Rose.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
I'll be sitting in for him this afternoon. I'm excited
because joining me right now is Pastor Jack Gibbs. Pastor
Jack is senior and founding pastor at Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills.
It's one of the most influential churches in the country.
He's also the president of Real Life Network and the
host of nationally syndicated TV and radio program Real Life.
(17:59):
And his new book is called to Take a Bold Stand.
It's called Called to Take a Bold Stand Anyway. At
a time when many voices are trying to redefine faith,
Pastor Jack continues to point people back to what doesn't change,
and that is truth, responsibility, repentance, hope. Pastor Jack, It's
always are a very great pleasure to have you on
(18:19):
the show.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
Welcome Rose, Thank you, thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
You know what I was in your church.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
I was so thrilled I got to see Pastor Jack
at the pulpit live and in person.
Speaker 4 (18:32):
It was so much fun.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
It was great having you there, and I was so
pleasantly surprised to actually look out there and to see
you in the front row of all things. Rose, you are.
You were in the splash zone, as we put it
out here. So thanks for coming by.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Well you have a beautiful campus, and of course the
sermon was just lovely. I love this new book. I
was able to go through some of it. I recently
acquired a copy of it. The book is called called
to Take a Bold Stand. And you know, Pastor Jack,
this world often seems like it's descending into chaos and
moral compromise, and it is. And I appreciate that in
(19:10):
this book you're suggesting that it's very possible that God
is preparing us for this very time. And I love
that because that gives me hope too, even though what
we see around us we're not imagining it, but maybe
He has just prepared us for this time.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
I like that. What made you start a book like.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
That you know, I don't think there's any doubt about
that Rose at all. The first actually, what really happened
Rose was the Thank God the Amazon bestseller list book hit,
and that was living in the Days of deception daze.
And then the follow up is what you're referring to
is living in the living a bold faith. It's time
(19:52):
to take a stand for a bold faith. That said,
God makes no mistakes. And the more people realize what
the Bible has to say, the more that they can
be confident. Our world is lacking confidence. The Christian community
tragically is lacking confidence. And so it doesn't come in
a self help program or five Steps to a Happy Day.
(20:13):
It comes to knowing what the Word of God says.
And so much of the Bible, as you well know, Rose,
is prophetic, and God tells us about what's coming. And
so people need, we need, I need to take a
bold stand because that is Christian history, that's world history.
And we believe in God. We believe and know that
(20:35):
He is the governor of time itself. And Rose Tenant
and Jack Hiss is alive right now, appointed by the
very will of God. And so I'm not gonna be
anything but victorious in his timing. I refuse to be intimidated.
I refuse to be a victim. We should be the
ones that are going forth with the truth and the
(20:56):
love of God.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
Yeah, everyone is so offended these days and so triggered.
But you're right, we can't spend time in that place.
We've got to move forward. And one of the things
that you mentioned in the book was that it was
time to stop playing it safe too, because I've been
both shocked and dismayed, and I've shared this with you
privately to find so many churches, these are non denominational churches,
(21:18):
playing it safe right now at a time where that's
the last thing they should be doing.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
Yeah, so true, so true. In fact, I love in
your monologue opening up as you and I look around
the world, as your audience looks around the world and concludes,
it's crazy out there. We get it. But because God
knows what's going on. Yes, that's exactly true. Let's get
out there because God knows, and we can be strong,
(21:46):
we can be bold. We have been very specifically placed.
I mean, I don't want to sound corny at all
when I say this, but just like an artist and
places a diamond in the right place. God has placed
us in the right place at the right time. So
the Christian needs to stop being distracted, Rose. They need
to really get aggressive about and intentional about stop being
(22:12):
distracted by the little trinkets of life, the little glittery
things that take us away from the truth of God.
The Bible says faith comes by hearing hearing the word
of God. The more we hear and partake of the
Word of God, the greater our faith's going to be,
which means we're going to be more reckless. I don't
mean that in a dangerous way, but we're going to
be more prone, more toward doing the will of God.
(22:35):
With a reckless abandonment is as the Puritans used to
put it, where I want to serve God no matter what.
And you and I live in an age Rose where
it's pretty sick to say. It's not going to get
any easier with the rise of Islam and America. You know,
in the Islamic world, America is the last frontier who's
going to stop such false doctrine and such actions. Only
(22:59):
the spirit filled, knowledgeable Christian can make that influence. The
community won't do it. The city council won't do it.
We know that politics can't do it. The Christian needs
to stand up and speak up without fear.
Speaker 4 (23:14):
Yeah, because I'll tell you what, and it's scary.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
But if you don't have that foundational faith, and if
you aren't bold enough to stand on that faith, then
I don't know how we can be effective and how
we even personally can survive what's going on all around us,
because it can be very dark at times. What does
it look like for a believer to have a bold
(23:36):
faith or to stand boldly in their faith when we
talk about everyday life.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
Yeah, when somebody says something like Christians should be quiet,
they should sit down, they should be seen and not heard,
or they should never vote, or they can't run for office,
or you can't be a Christian leader or pray on
the fifty yard line. No, I'm going to do that
because first of all, I have the freedom to do that.
And even if I didn't have the freedom to do that,
(24:02):
I'm going to exalt Jesus in my lifestyle. So we
need this and this, Michael come across like a ton
of bricks rose. But a lot of people talking about
a lot of people going to church these days. But
If that's true, we're going to see a profound moral
shift in our culture. And bold faith is going to
(24:23):
be a faith that will cause people to say, wait
a minute, what do you have that I don't have?
I want that you actually listen, Rose. In fact, those
that watched Jesus and listened to him said, listen to
this man. He speaks as one having authority and not
like the scribes and Pharisees. That's amazing because Jesus spoke
(24:45):
from firsthand the word of God. Because he was the
word of God. We his people are to speak about
the word of God firsthand because we're living out and
he is living out the Christian life through us. And
the world needs to hear from us, Rose. They need
to see us doing love, doing faith. And I really
(25:06):
do believe that the culture is tired of hearing about
Christianity but not seeing it. I think if we I
think if they saw it, it might heal a lot
of the things that they've seen.
Speaker 4 (25:19):
And it's so touching too.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
When I mentioned and I'll talk more about this later,
but there was a jail in Michigan on Christmas Eve
about the inmates out hands and prayed and saying and
so it was a beautiful thing to see and even
to read about. But these things are happening, but we
need to be participating in more things like this. And
when you said that we His people should be speaking
(25:42):
out that that brings me to one of the things
I really wanted to talk to you about. Because right now,
Pastor Jack, we're seeing AI generated Jesus apps. I mean,
we're seeing online mystics and algorithm driven spirituality everywhere.
Speaker 4 (25:57):
But at the same there is an actual chat with
g this app.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
Now, why are people anxious? Here's the thing I don't get.
They are willing to go online, go into Chat Jesus
and talk to him about their problems. And yet all
they would have to do really is turn around or
sit down in their bed or their sofa and talk
directly to him. Why do they not take that route?
(26:21):
Why do they have to find these other ways to
find God?
Speaker 1 (26:25):
I think your question, yeah, I think your question, Rose
is the answer. If I can deal with a God,
Let's be honest, these AI alternatives are a god. These
are gods with the lower case G. If I can
talk to a God and have him on an app,
then that makes him somewhat subservient to me. I can
(26:48):
make it available when I want it to be, and
if I don't like the answer, I will find the answer,
and eventually it's going to pick up on my questions
and the algorithm is going to give me what I want.
Year if you're asking me to turn to the real
Jesus and get personal in reality, oh my goodness, I
don't want to do that because I'm going to have
(27:09):
to deal with repentance. I'm gonna have to deal with
conviction because rose no AI app can cause a human
being to become convicted of the Holy Spirit on the inside.
God does not use artificial intelligence. God is the intelligence,
and He will speak through through you know, a cloud,
(27:33):
so to speak, going by a lightning storm, or you
know us observing a little bug on the on the
on the pavement. God can speak to our hearts through anyway.
And when we have these impostors, I think it's just
another reminder that Jesus said in the last days there
are going to be many doctrines of demons and deceiving spirits,
(27:55):
and many will be led astray.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
Wow, I agree with you, and you know, I think
there's another app that's confessed it's a confession APP. And
you know what, Pastor Jaack, that's an easy way out too,
because you might think that it's easy just to go
to God and say I did this thing today and
I'm really sorry. But there have been things that I've
had to go to him and say that I was
embarrassed and it was hard for me even to bring
(28:18):
it to him, even though he knew already. But there
is something in that that's so very important.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
Not an app yep. You know it's something because we
can tell our child, we can tell our son, go down,
go tell your sister you're sorry, and you can hear
them march down the hallway and they'll go sorry, and
then they come back and they think life is fine.
And you can do that with an APP. You can
say I confess this, and I can confess that. But
(28:45):
unless you face to face in true repentance the one
that you've offended, and ultimately, of course it's God. It's
just a bizarre, almost a psycho therapeutic act, rather than
a soul, a adjustment of the heart and mind in
the true depth of who we are. God made us
body souled in spirit and just playing around with band
(29:08):
AIDS isn't going to fix it. We need to get
very cathartic with him. We need to open up our chest,
so to speak, and let him take our heart out
and give us a new heart. And that only comes
through knowledge of Jesus Christ, asking him to forgive you
of your sins, to confess that he's the rit And
this is the bottom line. He is the crucified Savior
(29:30):
and resurrected Lord. If we don't get to that point
of talking to him, who is alive, then we're wasting
our time. We're playing games and God's just not there.
He's not going to do it.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
This is why I really appreciate you. You speak so
clearly and so loudly on faith. You are unafraid to
speak the truth, and I appreciate that. And we have
less than two minutes. Can you just give us all
just something in those less than two minutes, just to
encourage everyone for the year to come?
Speaker 1 (30:03):
Yeah, exactly, here we go. It's a year to come.
Question is why is it a year to come? The
calendar is going to change, and I want to encourage
all of you to realize or ask this question, why
is the calendar changing? The calendar is changing, not because
of seasons, but because two thousand years ago, as propheside
in scripture, Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, came into
(30:24):
this world, and by his life changed the very calendar
by which you and I date today. And the fact
is the Bible tells us Christ himself in Isaiah ninety six,
is the governor of time. He's the governor of time itself.
He knows your time. He died in the cross for
your sins and my sins. We could never pay a
(30:45):
price that we owed him. It's impossible, but he stepped in.
He paid that debt at his cross, and then three
days later, as promised, rose again from the dead to
ensure our entrance into heaven. God's not interested in our morality,
though we should be good people. He's not interested in
the money we give, though we should be benevolent. God
(31:08):
is interested in one thing. He wants your life day
to day, moment by moment, and it's a love affair,
my friends, is a personal love relationship. He wants with you.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
Perfect, perfect and good timing there too, Pastor Jack, I
