An Update From the Happy Families Team

As many of you would be aware, Justin's nephew Logan died at the age of 20 after taking his own life.

Craig Bruce is the executive producer of the Happy Families Podcast, and provides a quick update on Justin and Kylie and what the podcast will look like over the next few days.

Justin and Kylie will be taking a break to spend time with family, before we return on Wednesday, November 15th with a timely conversation with Colin Campbell.

After the death of his two teenage children in a car accident, Colin wrote the book 'Finding the Words', a powerful account of how he navigated through unimaginable grief.

It's their Happy Families podcast. Hi, my name's Craig Bruce.
I've been working with Justin and Kylie on the podcast
for the last couple of years. Some of you may
be aware that on Monday, Justin's nephew, Logan, died at
the age of twenty. He took his own life, and
as you can imagine, the Coulson's are just heartbroken. I

don't know much about Logan. Justin has talked to me
about him, just said he was an incredible kid. They
love to go surfing together, great sense of humor, just
a great person to be around. What I do know
is that he was loved by his parents and his grandparents,
his cousins, and you know, he was loved by Justin
and Kylie. And he's left an enormous hole that's going

to be really hard to fill. So at the moment,
Justin and Kylie are focused on the girls and they're
wider family, and I'm sure you'll understand they're going to
take a couple of days off from the podcast just
to collect their thoughts and spend some time with the
people that matter most. You guys matter a lot, but
obviously family is family right now, So The plan is

the next episode will be available on Wednesday, and it's
an episode that I really hope that you'll take the
time to listen to. Just a brief backstory. A couple
of months ago, I was listening to a podcast interview
with Colin Campbell, who's written a book called Finding the Words,
which tells the story of his son and daughter who
were killed in a car accident a couple of years ago.

And the book is about how his wife and family
and how he managed to deal with that unimaginable grief.
So I told Justin about the book and about Colin,
and I said, I think our audience needs to hear
this man. I think he's someone that we should share
his story with our listeners. And there was a bit
of back and forth. You know, we are the Happy

Families podcast, and we try to look for the positive
and for the uplift in everything that we do. So
it took a little bit of convincing on my behalf
to get Justin over the line. But it's turned out
that this interview will not only be I think, incredibly
moving for user here, but it's also come at exactly
the right time for Justin and Kylie's Family, So that's
