This is the best of the Ben Maler Show on
Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
No payday for you not yet anyway, Welcome in the
beginning of another edition of The Ben Malor Show, a
day night double headers. We are in the air everywhere
on the doorstep as we have a secret audio identity

(00:53):
coast the coast, border to border and beyond on the
vast and zestfully power microphones of fsre ammating live from
the Skull the Skullduggery of Hot Jock Talk. We are
broadcasting live from the ti rak dot com studios. Ty

(01:13):
raq dot com will help you get there and on
match selection, fast free shipping, free road hazard protection and
over ten thousand recommended installars. Tire rack dot com the
way tire buying should be in our lead this hour,
coming from the land of Jet skis and palm trees,

(01:36):
and a decision has been made on the future of
Tua Tongue by Low and I know you are dying
to know what that decision is. Right, you've been sitting around.
I wonder what Malard's gonna talk about. Maybe he'll talk
about Tua. That's the content that you need. Here, I
am giving you the content you need. Anyway. If you

(01:59):
didn't see this, and you probably didn't. The Dolphins GM,
Chris Greer is his name. He's been there a while.
They have been very good, decent now anyway, Chris Greer,
the GM there with the Dolphins, said that the team
has decided to hit the pause button on contract negotiations

(02:20):
with Ta Tungabaila until after the season is over. I
just to prove I am not making this up. Here
is Chris Greer, the GM of the Lions, discussing the
situation with his quarterback.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
I think, just think for him, it's just letting to
a play again. Those things are can be a big distraction.
You have family, friends, you guys, everyone constantly asking him
about it, and so I think from his agents and
I have had discussions just general, but not really about that,
and it just kind of agreed, like, let's just let
him play out the season and then we'll attack that.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
In the offseason.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Okay, do you smell that? Yeah? I smell that. So
the question, as we discussed the question you just heard
the audio the Dolphins, the Miami Dolphins putting the kebash
on to a tongue of Iloa, contract talks until after
this season. Is Tua a liability or an asset? So

(03:19):
I've got chunky soup, can duran, duran, and mental gymnastics,
and we will tie all of these things together and
we will get a nap, which I was unable to do.
I'm a very bad napper. That's a problem, all right.
So a actions speak louder than words. I heard that

(03:41):
somewhere along my life that actions speak louder than words.
Maybe my mom told me that back in the day.
But the Dolphins' actions tell us what that's right. The Dolphins,
by their actions tell us that Tua tongue of Iloa
is a liability. I don't think that's a bad take
by the Dolphins. And if Tua was an asset, guess

(04:03):
what would have happened. They would have paid the man.
The template has been sent. It's already been sent. Justin
Herbert with the Chargers, he got paid Danny Dimes. That
guy stinks. The Giants paid him. That Giants paid the
Vanillovic Jalen Hurts got paid after an NFL run to

(04:25):
the super Bowl and win. But in Philly, Lamar Jackson
he had his mother handling his contract and he got paid.
And even Geno Smith, the stiff Gino Smith, who overplayed
his card in Seattle last year, outdid himself. He got paid.
So the lesson is, don't be led down the garden path.

(04:49):
Tua's chunky soup can of cash has been kicked down
the road because the Dolphins determined that he is not,
at this point guaranteed to be an asset. And the
Dolphins have every right to be a skeptic of Tua
because of the health. And it's like, oh, you're a
bad but no, that's the proper way to do this is

(05:10):
if you were running the Dolphins. There's nothing wrong with that.
The Chris career line that we played though about avoiding
avoiding a big distraction all that that you know what
that is? Yeah, that is pure fertilizer is what fresh
fertilizer on a hot summer day is what that is.
And yeah, it's so difficult to get one hundred and

(05:32):
fifty million dollar contract. You have to deal with all
the anxiety, the headaches, the all of it, the skin condition,
your hair starts falling out because you have to figure
out how to handle your family and friends congratulating you
on getting a lot of money. Give me a break,
I mean, come on, well, I mean, just if you
just say you don't want to pay the guy so well,

(05:52):
we want to avoid distractions. How is that a distraction?
In what world? Is that a distraction? Seriously? Now, there
are some things you have to adjust when you get
paid a lot of money. But that's a good problem
to have. Am I wrong? I don't think I'm wrong?
All right, No, Paige tu here to the press box
we go kind of So Bill Belichick, you might have

(06:14):
heard of him. He's been around a while. We've talked
a lot about him over the year. So Bill Belichick
again feeding the content machine indirectly here. So we've heard
over the years that Belichick has some gripes with certain
members of the media, and one of those has popped
up here and it involves Bill Belichick in a long

(06:35):
standing grudge that he has with one of the biggest
scribes in the NFL. So if you're not sure about this,
maybe you didn't hear about it. So the guy named
Peter Kank I knew Peter back in the day a
little bit. But Peter King says that he hasn't spoken
to Bill Belichick in seventeen years. Why you asked it

(06:58):
seems like a fair question. Why why not considering Peter
King as a high profile NFL blowhard? Well, the reason
because Bill Belichick was offended by Peter King and what
he wrote years ago about the spygates s game King

(07:19):
behind a paywall on the Athletic the old Gray Ladies
Athletic there said that's the cost of doing business. Sometimes
he's one of the greatest coaches of all time. Then
Peter King took a little backhanded shot at Belichick says,
I'm not sure if I put him above Paul Brown,
but he's right up there with the greatest blah blah
blah blah blah. But according to Peter King, Belichick thinks

(07:44):
that King did him dirty, did him wrong way back
in twenty seven. So what do you make of Bill
Belichick blacklisting Peter King. So it is both cunning and vengeful.
I love it that Belichick, who's made so much money
and been so successful, continues to have this burning in

(08:07):
his belly against Peter King, who again is one of
the more powerful figures in NFL media, and Bill Belichick,
if this is accurate, has completely ostracized him. It isn't
even matchup though, because while Peter King is a blowhard,
so is Bill Belichick. The battle of egos and it's

(08:29):
gotta be eaten up Peter King though. Right. These NFL writers,
they die for access. They love being buddy buddy with
the coaches and the players, right that they get off
on that. That's an orgasm for them. And you have
this battle of egos here, and you've got Bill Belichick
living the Duran Duran melody from back in the day.

(08:49):
You kill me with silence, and that's essentially it was
a radio silence from Bill Belichick. All right, last word here.
So we're gonna stay in the AFC East and we're
going to move to Buffalo. Interesting factoid from these shores
the eastern end of the Lake Erie. There the shores

(09:10):
of Lake Erie eastern end, so wide receiver Stefan Diggs
is back. He's back on the fodder, the sporting futterer
of the day. What did Stefan Diggs do now, Well,
he was given an honor by the Buffalo football team.
Stefan Diggs was named a team captain for the Bills.

(09:32):
It's the third time that he has had that honor
and his fourth year there with the Bills. We were told,
but this time it's different because Diggs said, it is
a big deal and Josh Allen made a big deal
about it, and he wanted everyone to know what a
great thing this is and all that. So Stefan Diggs
saying it means a lot to him to be named

(09:55):
captain of the Bills. So is there a deeper mean
to Stefan Diggs being named captain of the Buffalo Bills?
One of many captains of the Buffalo Bills. But is
there a deeper meaning? So the answer is yes, I'm
nodding my head, yes. And the answer is not football related.
It is gymnastics related. It's mental gymnastics. That can anyone

(10:19):
look at this any other way than saying that this
is a pacifier. This is a peace treaty by Sean
McDermott that Sean McDermott is attempting to cut off Stefon
Diggs at the pass to avoid another flaru. Like if
you were to look at this as a neutral party,
Stefan diggs actions over the last year are not that

(10:42):
of a captain of an NFL team. He's been a
drama queen, which is not rare. But let's play the
Hits sideline conniption in a playoff loss to the Bengals
that was captured for posterity's sake. On CBS, you had
the cryptic tweets about unhappiness Digs absent from the bills
first mandatory mini camp practice after leaving the facility earlier

(11:07):
that day. We talked a lot about that on these microphones.
You also have Sean McDermott, the head coach, who expressed
worry about Stefan Diggs unexcused absence and said that he
was very concerned about Stefan Diggs. But yet Sean McDermott
in the Bills names Stefan Diggs one of the captains.

(11:28):
The only reason they did that it's a little mental gymnastics.
It's like anytime Stefan Diggs acts up, Sean McDermott will say,
come on now, Stefan, You're a captain. You can't act
like that. You're a captain of this football team. You
can't act like a knucklehead. I'm telling you. That's the motivation,
that's my belief anyway, analyzing this for several minutes, a

(11:52):
minutes long Mallord investigation, that is the reason.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Ben Maller

App Penning for goal well come in the beginning of
another hour of the Benmalor Show.

Speaker 5 (12:14):
We are in the air everywhere, close together as we
offer bigger and juicier sports takes.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Yeah, no, No, bigger and juicier sports takes coast to coast,
border the order and beyond. On the mast and vivaciously
powerful microphones of FSR am monating live from the house,
the boisterous, rowdy roughhouse. We are broadcasting live from the
Tirak dot com studios. Tyraq dot com will help you

(12:47):
get there an unmatched selection, fast free shipping, free road
hazard protection and over ten thousand recommended installers. Tyraq dot com.
The way tire By should be and our lead this
hour coming from the gold Rush. Say what, Yeah, we

(13:09):
are a sucker for the NFL news today. Play the hits,
my man, Play the hits, all right, We're gonna play
the hits. Don't worry about it. Another hallmark moment from
the NFL. Nick Bosa. He's a football player, Nick Bosa,
and he's smack dab in the middle of a contract

(13:29):
stalemate with the San Francisco football team, trying to hit
peterr Now, the reigning defensive Player of the year. That's
kind of cool, right when you won the Defensive Player
of the Year. He thinks he thinks he's about to
find a gold mine here, so he's holding out and
the season is going to begin shortly. The Niners open
up with a pretty good matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers

(13:51):
in Week one of the season, game that I have
have circled. So if you've not heard the latest on this,
maybe not the forty nine ers brains. We're asked about
the status of Nick bosas getting close to time to
play or not, and so Kyle Shanahan, the head coach
of the Niners and the GM John Lynch. We're asked

(14:14):
about the status of Nick Bosa whether or not the
team was going to trade the reigning NFL Defensive Player
of the Year, and Kyle Shanahan. We've got a lot
of you here, just to prove I'm not making this
up here is Kyle Shanahan asked the question, giving his response,
let's go to the audio tape.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
There's no way that you guys would consider trading Nick No.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
Yeah, I mean, I haven't talked to many people about that,
but I know how I feel pretty strongly, and I
think everyone would agree that. Okay, So he said no,
but then he added a little more to it, as
you heard there. Haven't talked to many people about that,
but I know how I feel. Okay. Now, John Lynch
was asked about this. He said, no, real simple, John Lynch,

(15:02):
said the former Fox broadcaster when he was asked about that.
So let us discuss the question, how much stock do
you put in the forty nine ers John Lynch and
Shanahan as in Kyle Shanahan not saying they're not going
to trade Nick Bosa amid this contract holdout. So I've

(15:22):
got Lady Gaga, Snake, Venom, and incredibles, and we'll lock
all of these things together. And we are going to
make some sour dough bread, delicious sour dough bread. And
man is that good to smell, the garlic, the whole thing.
All right, So number WA. So when you ask the

(15:45):
question how much stock do you put in? The forty
nine ers not saying they're not going to trade Nick Bosa.
This is a penny stock. It's like the time I
was convinced to invest in dough coin to the moon. Yeah,
I know that's not a it's a crypto stock, it's
not a regular stock. But anyway, don't be a rube.

(16:08):
Did you really expect Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch to announce,
you know, if Nick Bosa complains enough, we'll trade him.
Are you? Are you a dumb? Dumb? And the lesson,
which is a reminder here is you do not believe
everything you hear from people that work in these these jobs. Right,

(16:29):
don't believe everything you hear. Carefully weigh and examine what
these people say. If you're an NFL coach or an executive,
the rule of thumb is to never ever give a
straight answer. Never. And I've worked with some of these
guys that have you know, after they're done coaching they've
passed through Fox Sports Radio, and they would be like, well,

(16:50):
we don't give the whole truth. We give a version
of the truth that there's a lot of stuff that
is left, which of course we know is a lie
by omission in the legal sense. But if you're a
football coach, you can lie, lie, lie, right to your face.
So if you're an NFL coacher and executive, you have

(17:11):
to go lady Gaga. You've got to keep a poker face.
You're not allowed, under any circumstances to reveal how you
truly feel about a player about a situation. You can't
show your playing cards. And Kyle Shannan gave himself if
you listen closely with the trained ear and you parse
the words, Kyle Shannon gave himself plausible deniability because he

(17:33):
said he hasn't talked to many people about the topic.
That right there a big clue. And also he said,
I think everyone would agree to that. Well, people think
different thoughts. Not everyone agrees. You try to you get
a group of people together on any issue, whether it's
politics or anything with sports, you know, nobody agrees with everything.

(17:57):
You see your relatives for thanksgiving, your Christmas some holiday
they all agree. No, of course not, they don't. And
if they do agree, there's something wrong with your family.
If they all agree, they're like a bunch of zombies
or something like that. People have different opinions. But but
Channon did give himself plausible deniability. And Bosa and the Niners,
they've been doing this dance, the contract dance, for several

(18:19):
months and everyone everyone has a breaking point. Now do
I expect the Niners to eventually pay Nick Bosa? Yeah,
I'm not in my head. Yes, but there is another dimension,
a portal, not the transfer portal, but a different dimension
in the portal where Bosa becomes such a headache, such

(18:39):
a a sugarnah that the Niners are like, we're playing
pretty well without him. These guys have stepped up. We
got to recoup some of those draft picks we traded
away for that stiff Trey Lance. So we'll trade him. Well,
we'll send him to some AFC team and hope that
we don't run into him down the line in the
super Bowl. All right now, Page two on this scene,

(19:00):
topic of money, money, Mady. We go to Vegas where
there's a lot of money flying around, most of it
going into the coffers of the casinos and the Raiders
they're running back the enthralling Josh Jacobs. Now he sat
out camp and he got a new one year conscience.
He got a little bit of a raise, a couple
million dollars more, up to a couple million dollars more

(19:24):
from the Silver and Black. Now Jacobs has announced, I
know you're very concerned about this that Josh Jacobs has
said that the entire contract standoff is old news. That
he is ready to let by gones be by gones,
no hard feelings. It is a clean slate, all of
those statements meeting in the middle, is what he said.

(19:48):
So Josh Jacobs claims that there are no hard feelings
with the Raiders over the contract. Do you believe him
or not? Are you a believer or not? So on
when this one, I am agnostic, I am agnostic, oe
of little faith. It is the hunting moon period right now.

(20:09):
Jacob's just got the contract. He's got a little more money,
so he can walk around like he won and have
his chest out and all that stuff. But the real
litmus test here, and you know what the litmus test is.
You've watched football enough, you know what I'm about to
say here. The real litmus test is around mid season
week eight nine, week ten, when things start rotting. Let's

(20:33):
say the Raiders get off to a three and seven
start heading into week eleven and Jacobs isn't playing very well.
That that is the point of demarcation. That's when the
snake venom starts bubbling up to the surface. There the
contract quagmire will cast a long shadow on the Raiders.

(20:54):
And mark my words, and I am never wrong about
this stuff. Never that the boundaries will be pushed. They will,
all right now. The only way that doesn't happen is
that the Raiders are great and Jacobs leads the NFL
rushing again. Outside of that, tongues will be wagon. Final point.
We go now to Gotham where Big Blue. What can

(21:17):
Big Blue do for you? Not as much as Big Blue,
but anyway, Big Blue. That would be the Giants. They
are handing out seas. Daniel Jones, Danny Dimes, Danny Dimes,
in a bit of a surprise, named captain. Sequon Barkley
named a captain, so he said, okay, those are the captains. No, no,

(21:37):
there are eight other players on the Giants that have
been named captains. There's only fifty three players on the team,
so roughly twenty percent almost of the Giants roster has
been named team captain. A bunch of guys on defense,
special teams, you name it. They all all did the

(21:57):
old walk there to pick up their seas on their
So the Giants, Giants naming ten captains? Is this preposterous
or is it reasonable? So the first thought I had
is I corumba. I had, what are we doing here?
Brian Dable the coach who I like because he's fat,

(22:18):
and I like fat coaches. But Brian Dable going bat
poop crazy. It's like that line from the Incredibles movie
where one of the characters said, when I get old
and I've had my fun, I'm gonna sell my inventions
to everyone so everyone can be superheroes. Everyone can be

(22:39):
super And then here's the key part. When everyone's super,
no one will be. So when everyone of the Giants
is a captain, nobody is a captain. And so congratulations
to Brian Dable. You have devalued the honor of being
a captain. I know a lot of it's ceremonial and

(22:59):
it's it's hokingess. But when you hand out ten captains, No,
you do at the most. You do two on offense,
you do a couple on defense, and you do one
on special teams. That's five captains. That's it. That's the top.
I would do one on offense, one on defense, and
one on special teams. So you only have three. But
to do ten? Yeah, Now maybe I'm wrong on this,

(23:23):
but and I just do the Overnight show. I don't know.
But the leadership, I always thought leadership is something that
should be earned. You don't just give it away. Oh
you know you're the quarterback, you're the lead. Daniel Jones
couldn't lead anyone. The guys are stiff. The Giants don't
know that yet they keep paying them. But the guy's
a bum, and and so decisions like this. The Giants

(23:45):
had a surprise year last year. Are they going to
circle back down the drain this season? These captain positions.
We talked last hour about Stefan Diggs in Buffalo and
he was named captain after having multiple blowups since the
playoff game and the loss of Cincinnati last year. And

(24:07):
the Bills were like, ah, what I wrote, mak him
the captain?

Speaker 2 (24:10):
What the hell?

Speaker 1 (24:11):
Why not? We'll just put him in there as the Captain.

Speaker 2 (24:13):

It's maller, how about that to the third degree.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
This is one big fan gets grilled coop Ollu.

Speaker 7 (25:31):
Michael Thomas said in an interview that his body had
rejected hardware us in his ankle and toe surgeries and
that led to a lot of health problems and he's
finally healthy now, Ben, do you expect a big comeback
from Thomas this season?

Speaker 1 (25:45):
No? No, Michael Thomas has played ten games since the
twenty nineteen season ended. You can't count on him. It's
kind of like building a house with a wobbly foundation. Plus,
he's on my knotty because we have a guy that
occasionally calls a show named Holliday who's related to Michael Thomas.
Apparently Michael accord to Holiday. Michael Thomas kind of cut

(26:07):
off the family and all that once he got paid
the big money from the Saints, and the Saints have
a middling roster. Derek Carr's a average quarterback. Quietly, don't
expect anything there magical from Michael Thomas, at least to
last more than a couple of games.

Speaker 7 (26:22):
Next, the self imposed deadline for a Jonathan Taylor trade
has passed and now the running back will be starting
the season on the pup list. Ben, how long before
we hear more Taylor trade?

Speaker 4 (26:33):
Talk.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
Well, it's gonna it's gonna happen next week, tomorrow, today,
It's not going away. It's an underlying condition. As a
former Colts coach said, it's not trigonometry. He's not happy,
the team's unhappy with him. He's gonna miss the first
four games. But the trade deadline is not until Halloween,
so we've gotten till Halloween for this to be a
story next.

Speaker 7 (26:53):
Ben Simmons said in an interesting interview on Tuesday that
he still has love for Philly and that's the only
place he'd want to go if he was ever traded again. Ben,
could you ever see a Simmons Philly reunion happening?

Speaker 1 (27:05):
Listen the sixer fan. I'm gonna speak for the sixer fan,
fast and Philly and all those guys. They would rather
have a steak sandwich or a you know, any kind
of local soft pretzel out there than Ben Simmons. Ben
Simmons may love Philly, but it's not a mutual feeling
at all. He wore out is welcome. He had to
go to like Orlando or Portland and restart his career.

(27:25):
How do we know, Kopo out you passed this edition?
That is a way to get put.

Harry, Harry wait ask Ben?

Speaker 2 (27:52):
Twitter said us your questions on Twitter now, then.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
No way we go. It is asked Ben, as we jumped,
start the audio device you listen to right now with
your questions are answers for the rest of the hour,
and now the reading of the questions we do the
tango with the kupolu. All right.

Speaker 7 (28:12):
This first question is for Sam Justin and Sherman Oaks
wants to know are you really a seventy five year
old man?

Speaker 1 (28:21):
Me is, I've been playing seventy seven, don't you? Iowa, Sam,
seventy seven?

Speaker 7 (28:27):
Because because of what asked, Because of the music you're playing.
I mean, listen, I mix it up here on the
Ben Malain.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
But Roberto used to play like gangster stuff. Yeah, do
that you know? I mean?

Speaker 7 (28:36):
I well, I mean that doesn't mean it's not in
my repertoire. I just have maybe a more eclectic selection
of music, A lot of that growing up in Iowa.

Speaker 4 (28:44):
Sam saying he's smarter than you.

Speaker 7 (28:46):
No, no, no, no, I'm not. I'm just saying that I
just have a wider variety of things to play. Well, tonight,
it's been all boomer music. No, that's not true. I
played a variety of things.

Speaker 1 (28:57):
That was a lot. I'm actually in my late.

Speaker 4 (29:00):
So there you go.

Speaker 7 (29:01):
That wasn't an actual question back, like you're I'm an
old soul how about that? And I'm sure there are
plenty of your listeners that have enjoyed my music.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
Yeah, young in the demo, right, they're all gen Z demo.
And if they're not in the demo, they pretend to
be in the tell me they're in the demo. Yeah,
what is next? All right?

Speaker 7 (29:19):
This actual question is I I guess just for you, Ben,
He doesn't say for the crew. It's from Orange and
Blue Blood, Brett. He wants to know. He says, my
birthday happens to be on September eleventh, and since it's happened,
I can't seem to celebrate it. Do you think I
should feel that way?

Speaker 1 (29:41):
No, you were not. I mean it's a it's a
somber day, but you know that's your day. Your day,
happens to be that day. I think you can celebrate it.
I mean, it's been twenty years since that terrible event happened,
and you only have a certain number of years on
the planet. You might as well enjoy your day. So yeah,

(30:01):
I say, I say go for it. I mean, maybe
a couple of years are like the year of nine
to eleven, and then a couple of years after that.
I could say, maybe take a break. But after that,
you know, you gotta get to get get back on
the horse. So I say celebrate, get a big cake
and get some ice cream and have a great time.
What is next?

Speaker 4 (30:19):
All right?

Speaker 7 (30:20):
This is from Dante for everyone. Do you avoid certain
foods before you go to work because it may affect
your voice?

Speaker 1 (30:28):
Yes? Well, I don't eat much these days anyway, because
I'm I having this gazy thing that you guys all
rip in a minute fasting. But yeah, there's I don't
Back in the old days when I drink a lot
of soda, it would make me burp. And you don't
want to be doing a monologue and start burping. Well
maybe you do, it might be better, but I try
to avoid that. So any kind of carbonated beverages I
try to avoid and anything that will mess my throat up,

(30:51):
any kind of crunchy, spicy foods that you mess my
throat up? What about you, Eddie?

Speaker 4 (30:56):
Uh No, they do say you should avoid dairy products before,
but I mean I don't talk as much as you do.
If I did, I'm sure i'd take that into account.
But no, I don't avoid any any foods. Milk was
a bad choice.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
I was saying anything you want to avoid. No, you
eat more of dairy and cheese, double fish, cheese have milk.

Speaker 7 (31:18):
I mean like dairy products will make you a little
bit kind of uh, you know, what's that schmookers, you know,
just schmookers.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
The totty the totty fruity kind of Yeah. All right, coop, No, no, okay,
moving on, here we go. What's next is ask Ben?
Your questions are answers? What a marvelous segment of radio
Just glorious, isn't it?

Speaker 4 (31:42):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (31:42):
All right, here we go.

Speaker 7 (31:43):
Shanon to Moyne, would like to know when was the
last time you wore a suit or a tux?

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Uh? Actually I wore were dressed up. I didn't. I
haven't want to tux. I don't think I've ever want
a tux, but I were. I wore a suit a
couple of weeks back for for something I was doing,
so yeah, but not usual. I don't usually wear that
other I think, though, I've worn the suit since I've
become an adult, more to funerals than anything else, which
kind of sucks. What about you, Eddie?

Speaker 4 (32:10):
So did you wear that suit when you were in
Maine in the East coast there? You know, still haven't
announced what that trip was all about.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
I might get to that at some point this week.
You never know.

Speaker 4 (32:18):
You just saying it was either a funeral or a wedding.
I don't remember the last time.

Speaker 7 (32:23):
All right, I was saying I wore a suit for
a wedding in early July in Iowa, Julyowa.

Speaker 4 (32:31):
So there you go, right, I remember it specifically.

Speaker 7 (32:36):
Mine was also for a wedding well over a year ago,
maybe even two years ago, a little over a year ago.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
You know, we're working radio. I mean, why do we
want to get dressed?

Speaker 4 (32:47):
A better question for me would be when's the last
time you wore pants?

Speaker 1 (32:51):
Oh? Yeah, I have void pants at all costs. I
hate pants. I can't, can't. And what is next?

Speaker 7 (32:58):
What do we have here ferd Cat, I am not
asking that question. Uh, now I want to know what
the question? All right, just move on very personal. All right,
Well here I'll ask a different question from for Cat.
He's submitted three of them. Uh, what board game do

(33:21):
you hope to never play again?

Speaker 1 (33:25):
Man? Well, a lot of those things have nostalgia, but
like Monopoly takes forever. I love Battleship and all that,
but I mean, those things take so long. So I
don't know that I want to play any board game
right now because they just take way too long. Any
game eddy that you want to avoid any board game?

Speaker 4 (33:45):
Ah, it was not a huge board game now fan
as a kid, I mean that, Yeah, but I like that.
I wouldn't I wouldn't avoid that. So, uh, there's nothing
I can really think of that I'm looking to avoid.
I guess. I guess I've never really cared for Monopoly,
So Monopoly it takes.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
A long time, I was saying.

Speaker 7 (34:04):
I was saying, every time I play Risk, I get
very frustrated and upset and want to flip the board
because people always attacking me and I I'm not I
don't have a good strategy, so risk, I'd say Risk coop.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
You're gonna go mouse trap coop? What are you gonna
that's crazy.

Speaker 7 (34:18):
That's funny because the two games that came to my
mind that I wouldn't want to play are Monopoly and Risk.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
Oh.

Speaker 7 (34:25):
I love Clue.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
By the way.

Speaker 7 (34:26):
Clue was like.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
Hungry, hungry hippos. That's good, baby plastic, I was, Sam,
wash your mouth that with soap and water. Okay, I
like that. Yeah, the little plastic hippos just for a
little bit and they'd eat the little marbles and all that.
It was great. Shoots the Ladder, that's solid game operatorvity, Sam,
that's right, Anthony Davis and Kawhi Leonard. Yes,
