Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello and welcome. It's our number four. Don't forget Benny
versus the Penny This weekend regional cable television. It's kind
of a good show. It's kind of a good show.
Kind of like this show. But maybe maybe you don't
like this show. I don't know. The TV show is better.
Steve Young called the Philly Pretenders. Nick Bosa says the
forty nine ers showed the NFL the blueprint to contain
(00:22):
Jalen Hurts. Does all of that work for you? Also,
Zach Wilson renamed the Jets starter after being demoted. Do
you feel sorry for Zach Wilson? The Carolina Panthers culture
described as hunger games, like, what is your reaction to that?
We'll go all of those different avenues and more. Right
(00:43):
now here it is. Have a wonderful weekend, Stay safe.
It is our number four. Eagle eyde eagle eide and
you don't like what you see? Wel come and be
beginning of another hour of the Ben Mallor Show.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
We are in the air everywhere, partners in crime, as
we earned our fundraising badge coast to coast, border, the
Order and beyond on.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
The mast and here splittingly powerful microphones of fs are

mouth do the talking. We are broadcasting live from the

(01:41):
dot com The Way Tire Buying Show be headline from
the NFL will mention the Patriots winning the Thursday night
game as Zeke Elliott Ezekiel Elliott had a throwback game,
reminding people that he's still alive. People thought he died retired.
Zek Elliot won one hundred and forty total yards and
(02:03):
a touchdown reception as the Patriots put up three touchdowns
in the first half, which is more than they've scored
all season. That's a lie. But they mostly sucked, but
they beat the Steelers. They held on and beat Pittsburgh.
I did see some commentary after the game from Jabril
Peppers of the Pats who said the team needed needed
(02:25):
to beat the Steelers. They did it for Belichick, so
apparently they didn't need Belichick didn't need a win against
the Chargers or any of these other teams they played
the last five games, but they needed a win for Belichick.
He says Peppers that he does not like all the
noise that Belichick's been getting so far this season. And
what what a week for Mike Tomlin, the greatest week
(02:49):
that Mike Tomlin has had as a coach, losing consecutive
games to a pair of two to ten teams, the
Cardinals and the Patriots, and that is history. No one
has ever had a more incompetent, pathetic, disgraceful week of
football than the Pittsburgh Steelers the Yinsers. But our lead
comes from Week fourteen, which did kick off with that
(03:10):
game last night, as they played patty cake those two
teams in the second half. But there there are better
things here to talk about right now. For example, the
forty nine ers to the victor goes the trash talk
they unloaded on the Eagles, and if you've not been
following the fallout from that, perhaps not. The Hall of
Fame quarterback and franchise legend Steve Young took a shot
(03:33):
at Philadelphia after they lost forty two to nineteen to
the San Francisco Football team, calling Philly pretenders at that
same train of thought, defensive star Nick Bosa recently revealed
the forty nine ers put the blueprint out there on
how to stop Eagles start Jalen Hurts. So let's unpack
(03:55):
all of this, the question to start Steve Young saying
that Philly is a pretend and Nick Bosa announcing that
the Niners have just announced the blueprint to stop Jalen Hurst.
Does all of that work for you? Does it work
for you? Ah? No, not so much. I've got Colonel
(04:17):
Detainee and Piranha and we will combine all of these
things together and we will go down the rabbit hole,
is what we're going to do now to kick off
this what's going on right now. This is known as
a dog pile. It is a dog pile. It is
clear out your folder, clear out your mailbox. You pull
(04:40):
off a big victory, and you then do a victory
lap is what you do. It's like you're winning a
big NASCAR race. Steve Young the legend. He started the
fire when he claimed that the Eagles are pretenders. Now,
Nick Bosa poured unleaded gasoline on top of the inferno.
There burn, baby burn. But that train of thought doesn't
(05:02):
work for me. And here's why Nick Bosa strutting around
like he's Harlan Sanders, better known by his stage name
Colonel Sanders. You know, Colonel Sanders not a real colonel,
an honorary colonel, but not a real colonel. Anyway, nick
Bosa posted, I guess the secret recipe of the eleven
herbs and spices on the Socials. That is actually a
(05:23):
porky pie of a lie. Jalen Hurts could have been
better for Philly. That is not a wrong take. He
could have been better, but he was not the reason.
He's not the driving force to why Philly lost that game.
Now hurts a lot of it in garbage time, but
he did have two hundred ninety eight yards of offense.
The hidden ingredient was the El Mattador defense by the Eagles.
(05:46):
Olay olay olay ole. That is the secret sis. You
want to beat Jalen Hurts, have your offense put four
hundred and fifty six yards up, have Deebo Samuel run
free like he's playing against and and do all those things.
You'll you'll beat Jalen Hurst. That's how you stop Jalen Hursts,
all right. Furthermore, headline from Jersey in his official. I
(06:09):
know you're excited about this. The Jets quarterback Zach Wilson
has been renamed the starter two weeks after being demoted
to third string. Tim Boyle, who had been the starter,
not only lost his job, he was fired earlier this week.
So this has opened up conversation as to whether or
not people should feel bad for Zach Wilson that he
(06:35):
got a raw deal. It's a real SOB story. It's
a Greek tragedy. Zack Wilson was renamed the Jets starter
again after being demoted. Do you feel sorry for him?
Come on that. You gotta be such a lightweight. I
feel so bad for Zack Wilson. Oh, here's my story.
(06:57):
That's life in the big City, pal. It's not like
Zach Wilson is a date the dainey of some kind
of prison camp. He's not a detainee. He's not being
held captive. Last I checked, the Jets are paying him
almost ten million dollars to be bad at his job.
I believe the average American salary is around seventy thousand.
(07:17):
That's the median salary. He might be making less than that.
Maybe you make more than that, but that's about the
average about seventy five thousand, So boo hoo, listen, Zack
deserved to be benched. He played his way out of
the starting job, and Zack Wilson is back as the starter.
But Zack Wilson still blows. There, she blows thirty first
(07:37):
ranked quarterback in the NFL. He sucked at a time
you cannot suck. The only reason that he is back
as the starter is because Tim Boyle is about as
effective as a boil on your took us and Trevor
Simeon proved to be even worse, apparently, even though he
didn't really get a chance to play. So in the end,
they got a bunch of Vercocka quarterbacks. So they decided
(07:59):
that we'll go back to the original Vercocta quarterback, and
we'll say why not with Zach Wilson. And if he's
really broken up, he can get one of those miniature
horses as an emotional support animal and he'd be good
to go, all right. Party shot headline from to Back
Old Road. The Carolina football team called out recently the
(08:21):
culture in Carolina was compared to that of a Hunger
Games battle royale. In the final days of Frank Raich
did you see this story. It was interesting. I read it.
I was on a toilet. I read it. It was
on my phone. But I'm watching this and I'm reading
it and reading the details here. So we're told that
(08:44):
the environment in Carolina where the assistant coaches and the
general manager Scott Fitterer, went behind Frank Reich's back and
they contacted the boss, the owner, David Tepper, that weird
hedge fund guy, with complaints and they gave suggestions about
how they could solve the dilemma of why Bryce Young
(09:08):
is in the bottom of the cesspool. And they had
all the answers, but they just needed to get the
owner to sign off on it. So let's talk about this.
The Carolina Panthers culture being described as hunger games, Like,
what is your reaction to this? So it's not shocking,
And this is another leak from Frank Reich. Who else
(09:29):
would leak this story? It had to be a Frank
Reich story, right, This had to be Frank Reich hooking
up one of his buddies in the media. You won't
believe this. They screwed me over. I was in a
no in situation. I'm trying to coach the team, I
got my defensive backs coach going to the owner. I
got the GM going to the owner. Everyone's not following
(09:51):
the chain of command. Now we don't know for sure.
It's my opinion that Frank Reich was the source on this,
but it's not surprising because the story it makes sense.
This happens in every business, whether you're in the football
business or not. It's the Piranha method. You smell blood
in the water and you go for it, right, You
go for the blood in the water. The Panthers are broken,
(10:12):
their quarterback stinks, Bryce young, and survival instincts kick in.
It's darwodism that states if you don't adapt to your environment,
you will die. And Frank Reich, in the eyes of
the assistance, was dead meat.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
And when the.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Head coach goes, everyone else goes. Right. They very rarely
keep more than a couple of assistants from a staff,
so everyone was looking to save their own bacon. That's
what they were looking dip. It is the Bent Mallard Show.
If you would like to be part, speakeasy rules are
in effect. We'd love to have you on, though you
(10:49):
can be part of the show later this hour. We're
gonna have the Coop Scoop on entertainment. You can hit
me up on x at Ben Mallard. Make sure you
try the podcast up and running. How much do you
think Bill Belichick is worth on the trading mark? If
the Patriots were to trade Bill Belichick, what would his
value be on the trade market. We will get to that.
(11:13):
Also the Coop Scoop on entertainment as well, and your
calls and some new holiday music. A lot to get to.
We'll get to it and we will do it.
Speaker 4 (11:23):

Speaker 8 (13:02):
Eddie? I had to confer with the crew and we
determined that there is a word in the song that
I have that needs to be bleeped out. So for
Dylan the.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Somebody, somebody sent you a dirty holiday song, No.
Speaker 8 (13:17):
But they used a word it involved Doc Mike and yeah,
I've been told. Next week Dylan the Plumber in Maine,
Well we'll try and get that on for you with a.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
Little bleep a lot.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
All right, do we have Kathy and Madison's work. Kathy
sent a song and she's the hey Mona woman. If
you're a fan of the show, you know the hey
Mona woman. She's famous on the show. Everyone loves Kathy
and Madison. And this is really one of the most
unique holiday songs. That's not it, but we we have it.
I think we have it. And we don't have to
(13:54):
play the whole thing. Why don't we just play a
little bit? We have it of Kathy in Madison, Wisconsin.
She is a lovely woman. She loves the show. She
listens every night and take a listen to her version
of a Malor holiday song, a classic, an.
Speaker 7 (14:10):
Instant Okay, thank you Kathy.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
She always has the greatest audio. It's just one of
the qualities was deeply disturbing. She actually does. She does
the show and e from where the Beatles used to
record their songs back.
Speaker 8 (14:47):
It sounds like she's recording in a bathroom, but the
recorder is like down the hallway.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
Yes, that's the beauty of a Kathy and Madison song.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
We love her in a mold of jello too.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
Yeah, Kathy, listen, you are the greatest. Nothing can match
the Haymana. I don't even know if Iowa Sam knows
about the hay Mona. Yes, but Kathy became a viral
star with Haymona. It was one of the great things
that ever happened on the show. And that was west
to that again. They mo, yeah, that's Kathy right.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
Let's let's listen to that acid trip of a song again.
Do you want to hear the song a little bit,
a little bit, let's continue.
Speaker 9 (15:27):
It all right, children, Like someone invited Andres Thompson to
your party and then he handed on a bunch of drugs.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
We'll start moving.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
It's unique. It's a little frightening, to be honest with.
No one else has this content.
Speaker 8 (15:53):
It's like a Halloween horror movie.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
You would hear that the morning shows that are warming
up right now. I had this. You can't have it, boys,
It's our song, regardless. We have the most talented audience
in all of radio. I mean, what was that? Thank
you You're an angel? Wonderful, matters wonderful, the Heyemona woman.
Speaker 8 (16:15):
It fits in well with our show.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
It was like someone was playing a guitar, but like
all the strings were out of whack and tuned weirdly.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
Win.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
Yeah, I'm telling you that's my upset pick. She's gonna
win a Benny Award in twenty twenty four, the twenty
twenty three Bennies, which give out we're giving out in
twenty twenty four, the Great Honors of the contributors of
the show. She's gonna win, raw, She's gonna win. No, No,
I'm telling you you're.
Speaker 8 (16:40):
Gonna get that.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
All right, Well, you can say whatever you want, but
that's fine. Also, I got email me saying that that
that guy from Maine, the guy who's actually from England
that called up last week, that that guy fill the drill,
Fill the drill is going to win one Hit Wonder
of the Year on the show, that the one hit
Wonder filled the drill. And I said, I don't know,
(17:01):
Maybe i'll call again. He says, he listens all the time,
so it's possible, possible, And we'll take some calls here
if you would like to be part again. The speakeasy
rules are in effect. I'm not sure who's still there,
so I guess I'll just guess. Let's say hello to
moving man Matt in in I don't know where, maybe
he's in Boston. I don't know he's based in Boston. Hello,
(17:22):
all right, he's gone. All right, let's see here any
meany miny mall. Let's say it to Jed. Jed who fled,
Who's in the Great State of Florida. And I guess
Jed's back out wandering around. I know when Jed doesn't
call the show, he's got to keep clean for the
probation officer. But when he's calling the show, he's partying.
Speaker 10 (17:47):
A lot of form connections in my life for all
the time. But like hoping I can claim can turn
my life around. I like to hey, yeah, I'm playing
right now. They're like really, I'm like, yeah, just get
out the shower and not because, by the way, minimizes
your sobriety. Anyway, the reason you don't watch sports or
anything on ESPN is because you turn your pin on
if you want to see a hammer in the sickle
(18:08):
flag flying in the wind and a seventy five yard
loan of mythial and a military parade with you know,
some USSR national anthem, because that is what they're about,
that is what they're about being. I've met Scott Ben
You y'all, you are five thousand more times normal, more
(18:28):
normal looking than him, dude, And that's that is not
not you know.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
That is that a compliment that I look normal? I
don't know that I even look noal, I don't think
I look normal. We I look weird. But I had
a friend.
Speaker 10 (18:43):
The way it was a weird sounds right there where
we both try to let each other talk. That was
quite I got blight off.
Speaker 8 (18:47):
Now.
Speaker 10 (18:48):
I had a friend asked me about parents of years
old Vice TV and was like, what the hell did
with his hat? Like, hey, he's got his hat, that's
all he Said's what he says, So he needs a hat?
Speaker 1 (19:00):
Yeah, I mean you blame my parents. I mean they
they gave me the genetics. I mean it's their fault.
So I'm a hat guy.
Speaker 10 (19:06):
Hey what my parents gave me. They gave me the
surprise of like you're adopted when I was later on
his life and then like, no, I was just kidding.
We just wish, We just wish. And I I cannot
even tell if that's real or if you know what
I mean, And it makes you want to double down
my lifestyle.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
Understand. I don't know how you could. I don't know
how you could double down on your lifestyle because you're
you're on the edge. You're you're on the highway to hell.
I don't know how you could change that.
Speaker 11 (19:32):
Bro the road.
Speaker 10 (19:32):
I'll tell you what. I don't need to have good intentions,
because water is the road to hell. Pay with good intentions.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
That's why I heard that as a song. I heard
that straight.
Speaker 10 (19:43):
I was Sam. I was Sam.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
Dude.
Speaker 10 (19:45):
Wow, let's let's let's approach this was seriously, now is
literally wasting his life away, moments they'll never get back.
Worried about weed man hitting also more concerned, more concerning
over one hundred dollars here first scription to some Iowa
sports website dudes, And y'all, I'm.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
Just supporting local journalism.
Speaker 10 (20:09):
Local journalism. Hey, I got a pain of paper, fam,

Okay, okay, all right, thank you. Have a wonderful weekend.
Just be just be great. Let's hello.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
Wandering in the darkness, like when he calls.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
In, walks over. He's in the Redneck riviera, and he
walks around like the you know, the swamp lands. I
guess not really swamp just wanders around. He wanders around,
he's on the beach. I guess he's on the beach.
That's usually where he is, but but I don't know. Uh,
let's go say hello to Dick in Dayton. Hello, Dick,
good morning.
Speaker 4 (20:52):
Then then whoa, whoa, Well, I got something to tell you.
And Eddie here they called me. We the other night
up the peace BLUs during church and Beaver Creek had
standing ovation.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
Are you telling me that Dick and Dayton got a
standing ovation at a church in where.
Speaker 4 (21:19):
Beaver We had thirty people playing in the crowd was
probably fifty to fifty people. And I got to go
up and do jingle bells with Maryland and I mean
that went over.
Speaker 8 (21:34):
Robert. Yeah, brought the house down.
Speaker 4 (21:37):
Brought the house down.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
Amazing, made absolutely amazing. Yeah, that's great. And that's a
big crowd, thirty people and they loved you. Were they
eating popcorn and snacks while they were listening.
Speaker 4 (21:49):
Yeah, we had let's see, we had let's see, I'm
trying to think. We had cookies and we had what
was it fru and we had like o haam salami cheese.
It was really good.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
Well, we played I don't know if you heard. You're
the music guy we had yet. Yeah, what what do
you know? That was pretty good?
Speaker 4 (22:11):
Yeah, it was good.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
You enjoyed that? Okay, see Kathy, Dick and Dayton enjoyed
your work.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
He's a fan of I want to tell you something
you're not going to believe. What doc to talk to
the other night in seven hundred wl W Bernie?
Speaker 1 (22:24):
Did you know I've talked to him? But what Ken Coleman?
Speaker 4 (22:31):
Bryan No, Bryan, Uh, Brian isn't. And Sam Liqueur they
do the Fox pregame show, and god.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
Are you kidding? Said Sam Querr. You met him, you
talk to him? Is that right?
Speaker 4 (22:44):
No? I know, but he just said, thanks Dick for
your support. I mean we we uh know our fans
down here, but thank you for calling in and we
appreciate you. It was pretty good.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Yeah did you drop my name? You say?
Speaker 4 (22:57):
Hey, Yes, I did, Yes, I did. I was talking
and there's a guy that calls a Youngstown it's w
KB in. His name is Chuck and he plays Eka
lately and he was telling Chuck that we got to
get together. He says, I want to come down and
here Dick's van. How about that?
Speaker 1 (23:15):
Yeah, so Chuck and Dick could be together. His name
is Chuck, and they call him Chuck. Right, they called Chucky.
That's because his name is Chuck.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
Yeah, I got you.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
All right, Well, this in life is great for you.
You're such a rock star since you retired, you're living
a great life. It's wonderful to hear all the excitement
that you have. And you watch bad Brown's offense on Sunday,
so you have that to look for it.
Speaker 4 (23:37):
I've been watching the Cavaliers Mitchell and oh we look
pretty good. I watched them the other night. They were
eighteen points up, but they were rebounded pretty good. You know,
they had good But I do think the Bengals are
going to win Sunday with Jake Brownie, I do.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
Yeah, you're confident. Now do you have Browning fever? What
can brown do for you or Brownie?
Speaker 10 (23:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (24:00):
All right. Well, Dick, than you enjoy your weekend. Thank you, Dick,
bye bye bye. Yeah, gongratulations Dick.
Speaker 4 (24:07):
Yeah, thanks, Ben, all.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
Right, I got a small head. We'd like to point
out in the shameless promotion department. Benny Versus the Penny
returns this weekend and local regional cable television. I saw
the Celtics tonight and our Hub is in Boston. The
show is produced out of Boston, and it is the
Knicks and Celtics and I so we are on late
(24:32):
Benny Versus the Penny. The first run is at eleven
thirty late night TV on a Friday night, and then
we'll have another episode coming up. I think they're going
to replay it like an hour later at twelve thirty,
So a little late night on Benny Versus the Penny,
and it'll play again on Saturday and Sunday. But that's
just in Boston. He'll play all all over the place
at different times. The Bay Area in northern california'll get
(24:54):
that multiple times today, So check that out. Justin and
Cincinnati says he loves beeber Creek. He's a big fan
of b re Creek.
Speaker 5 (25:02):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Ben Maller
Show weekdays at two am Eastern eleven pm Pacific.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
Anyway, it is the Ben Malors Show. As we press
on through these late nine hours, how much is Belichick worth?
What do you think he's worth? I always love these
reports because there's reports bouncing around a Belichick's seventy one
years old. There's a chance he's traded at he might
be back. Maybe the Patriots would bring him back for
another year. But we'll see what happens the rest of
the way. The Patriots are terribly it's horrific. But the
(25:30):
report that's bouncing around the echo Chambers says, I love this.
Listen to the weasel word. Belichick could be worth as
much as a first round pick in a trade. That's
a classic weasel terminology. Could be worth as much as
the first round pick. It reminds me of when Jimmy
Garoppolo was being shopped around, and I think it was
(25:53):
Adam Schefter at the time years ago that said that
the Patriots would not trade Jimmy Garoppolo for anything less
than like two or three first round picks. And Garoppolo
was traded for like what was he traded for, like
a second or a third round pick or something like that,
and it was just like a giveaway to the forty
nine ers. These reports are just just clickbait trying to
get some some views and all of that. Well, we
(26:17):
need to have the proper introduction for the Coop scoop
on entertainment, so that means a professional voiceover artist. Our
friend from Brooklyn who battled out against the duked it
out with Blair in Maine the other day. Our friend
Marcel in Brooklyn. Hello Marcel, good morning, or shall I
say ben Eddie Famine Coop dup.
Speaker 11 (26:39):
Great to see you on this Friday. Oh just a reminder,
my uncle's birthday is on Sunday.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
Oh, Uncle, you know I've spoken to Uncle Dynamite. Fun fact,
I have spoken to Uncle ninahm. I remember, Marcell, you
gave me your number to call you, and I called
you and you it was actually you gave me Uncle
Dynamitees number.
Speaker 11 (27:02):
Well that's because we don't want to say it on radio.
Don't say it on radio.
Speaker 4 (27:07):
