(01:07):
Thursday night, foot Glorious under came in with no sweating.
It was so bad the normally on the front page
of like ESPN dot com. The result of the Thursday
night game is up. It's it's the front and center story. No, no, no,
tomorrow's MLB games and then you gotta scroll down to
scroll down Cold twelve Broncos nine. We didn't watch this either,

(01:28):
is the headline this game was. It was an awful game.
I mean really, some some NFL players are tweeting Ben
da Nucci, right, I mean, come on, Ben da Nucci
tweet out, this may be the worst NFL game I've
ever seen. Yeah. No, there were a lot of those.
Um I was just looking at and in my timeline
came former Seahawks quarterback and well several other teams. Matt

(01:48):
Flynn quote. Matt Flynn is saying this is I could
have done that, all these guys you never heard of.
Blake Portals is right now saying maybe I retired too soon,
too soon. Maybe I didn't tell anybody and retired to
come back. Russell Wilson was terrible. Matt Ryan was terrible.
It was the game we all deserved. Of course, it
goes to overtime. You got field goal, field goal, field goal,

(02:11):
field goal versus field goal, field goal, field goal, and
the Colts win this game. They improved it to two
and one. How about a former wide receiver chatting in,
Oh boy, who is it, Jerry Porter, Well, let me
read the read it and see if you can get
it from the Darwins. I believe you are a phenomenal
wide receiver, Sutton, but I think you didn't run the

(02:32):
route to win. You let Gilmore dictate your route. Gilmore
took away the inside because of you're tight split. I'm
furious they had you lined up tight on the short
side of the field, running in a breaking round get
plus four on the short side of the field, attacking
vertically across his face for an easy six. Russ didn't
go through his progression and it cost him. He missed

(02:53):
handler for six. Cold Beasley. It is Dez Bryant. Wow,
look at Dez, Hey, I still know the game. I
know the game a little bit. Look. The game comes
down to the final play of overtime with the Broncos
trailing twelve nine. It's fourth and one. Colts called time out.
The Broncos called time out. They come back and run

(03:14):
a play where Russell Wilson misses a wide open kJ Hamler,
who in the in his own words, I could have
walked into the end zone. Instead, he tries to shoehorn
and pass in. That's the fine Gilmore makes an incredible play.
I mean it's it's a it's not the worst pass
in the world. And Gilmore makes a really good play

(03:34):
getting his hand on the ball breaking it up. The
Colts win twelve nine, and the problems for the Broncos
just mushroom. We'll get to Nathaniel Hackett coming up in
a couple of minutes. But Russell Wilson, who it seems
like everybody is turning on now because yeah, we don't
like the head coach, but man, you're the guy getting
forty million dollars a year. Let's hear what Russell Wilson

(03:57):
had to say following the game just a couple of
moments ago, just kind of going back to the last
play of the game. Any consideration on your part to
get the first down and then go for the win? Um, yeah,
we mean we had, Um, we had we had a
good play call on Um he went went to Courtland
there made a guy made a good play. You know. Um,

(04:19):
you know we ready. I was ready to move around
if I needed to. Um. You know, we came up
with a big fourth and two earlier, and you know
the drive before, the two drives before, Um, you know,
so we we went for it. We didn't want to
end in the tie, you know, we wanted to try
to win the game, you know. And uh that was
our that was our mentality. I don't think it was
I think coach made a good call. I think we

(04:39):
gotta find you know, I gotta find a way to
make a play, um, whatever it takes. And um and uh,
the thing about the thing about you know, close games
and this and that is uh, you know, it comes
down to find in a way, and we found a
way before and this time we didn't. We had a
really good drive and over time they went down and
kicked the field goal. Whatever we got the ball, we
drove all the way down quick lee. Um. That's how

(05:01):
I think our offense should look. You know. Quite often
we were able to get you know, make plays and
do our thing. Guys did a good job blocking up
that last drive and um, they made a good play.
Russell on the interception just before the two minute warning.
Can you just take us through? Hackett said, he thought
maybe you started to the other side and then came
back to Tyree. Just take us through what you saw

(05:22):
on that play that that ended in the pick. Yeah,
there was um got on the left, and then we
were running across the field, um you know, and uh,
I just can't you just can't throw that. You get
thrown out of bounds if it's not there. Um, he
was cutting across the field, um you know, and we
just we were a little bit off on that and
um you know, and ended up a negative play. Russ,

(05:43):
you said on that final drive, that's how it's supposed
to look. Why do you think it isn't looking like
that right now? Well, I think we've had some good drives.
I think, you know, the first drive of the game,
I believe it was we moved the ball, well, we
were efficient us and that um we had one negative
thing run or something. And then it was second and long,
third and long, and then we threw it in the
back of the end zone. Almost caught it. Jerry almost
made a great catch. Um that could have been a touchdown.

(06:06):
But I think I think that, um, you know, for us,
it's it's it's having these you know, negative plays and
the backward plays or the interceptions you know, or or
anything negative you know. And I think, um that that's
that's on us. That's on us as players are starting.
Like I said, it starts with me, you know, and um,
it's not on coach Hacket, it's not on anybody else. Um,

(06:27):
he's called some good, really good plays. You know, we've
got we gotta make the plays. We gotta I gotta
be able to hit it, and we gotta be able
to get that first down, this and that, whatever it is.
And you know, there's there's, there's, there's. It's disappointing tonight.
Obviously we felt like we should have won that game. Um.
And uh, you know, I felt like I let us
down to night obviously. Um, But like I said in
this locker room, we believe. Um, what we can do

(06:49):
is a lot of season left. There's a lot of
opportunity left. There's a lot of belief. Um, and uh,
you know how great the defense is doing. If we
can turn around on offense, how how quickly we can
turn around on offense. That's the key. I was gonna
keep that and keep believing. Uh. He finished his press
conference by saying, Broncos Country, let's ride, and he was
also in full uniforms. Well yeah, okay, well you know, hey,

(07:12):
listen listen. Yes, Russell Wilson wasn't a full uniform Following
the end of this game, and he was at his
locker room for forty minutes after the game was over,
and he was whispering with Nathaniel Hackett. Right, you're gonna
get fired. It's a final, it's your fault, it's all
your fun. I'll take some of this and I'll stand

(07:32):
up for you. But you're done. But he also you
had to hit Hamdler on that. How did you not
see him on the back side? I mean, go through
your progressions, go through your progressions. He was the shotgun.
But I'm not gonna tell anybody that I'm the same.
What do I always tell you? He never no, no, no,
no no no. I do say that there is no

(07:54):
player more conscious of his image than Russell Wilson. Russell
Wilson could have gone in, could have changed, could have
come out like a professional at answered questions. But no,
I want to wear my uniform because I want to
show you I'm hurting, h hurting, and I want everybody
to know because everybody's mad at me. Everybody thinks I stink.

(08:16):
So I'm gonna wear my uniform to the presser instead
of changing, to show you that I still haven't had
time to change out of my uniform. I'm so mad.
Russell Wilson is image over everything, and this is an
example of that. Everybody does it. Everybody goes I change,
I'm coming out, I'm doing this, but no, no, I'm
in full uniform because I want you to see how
mad I am and how upset I am. So don't

(08:39):
be mad at me, because I feel your pain. I'm
trying to control this narrative so I don't get the
lion share of the blame like I'm going to get. Well,
that's the problem is that so many people immediately want
to put it all on hack It and he's and
he's been terrible. But again, that's why you bring in
a two million dollar quarterback supposed to be more gig

(09:00):
in concert and saying, hey, it's only been five weeks
and and and I see it, and I referenced it
before the excuse making and references to other teams where
guys change and you start finding it. Later in the season,
they were still good. They were still showing flashes of
a team that could be a problem. And this defense

(09:20):
plays pretty well. This one you gotta win. You can't
score more than nine points culture missing a couple of
key guys on defense, Jonathan Taylor doesn't play. Matt Ryan's
is sitting duck behind an offensive line that's not playing
anywhere near the hype and the history and the accolades

(09:40):
and everything else. Like the Cowboys. Everybody still thought the
Cowboys offensive line was good two years after they started
to crumble and guys were kind of falling away, either
through free agency or or the unfortunate illness that took
Travis Frederick out of the middle of that line. Culture
kind of in that same boat right now, where it's
not the same five guys playing at that level, but

(10:03):
guess what they they're able to eke out a win
here in terrible fashion. And you gotta look in the mirror,
right because I think a lot of people and you
see the jokes, You see the usual one liners, the tired,
hackneyed approach, and it's all on Nathaniel Hackett, and he
gets a lot of it. There's no question he's in
over his skis, as we like to say talking about

(10:23):
Robert Sala, talking about some of the other coaches where
there are moments where you just raise your eyebrow, going, yeah,
this ain't gonna end well. And and certainly with Hackett,
We've had plenty of those. But you've got to look
at your quarterback. If you're gonna bring a guy in
at this stage of his career and say, all right,
you didn't want to be with Pete Carroll, you didn't
want to do this anymore, you wanted out. Okay, we

(10:44):
got you here. What is it you want to do?
And you've had months to do that, So telling me
that you haven't had time to install it, haven't had
time to work all of that, it is just a
load of crap. It's it's just awful excuse making because
you haven't figured this out. Guess what, coaching is hard.
Playing at this level is hard, and you're finding out

(11:06):
in the worst of ways. And you've got a guy
that goes up there and all he gives you his
platitudes and excuses and oh, it's gonna be okay, and
that's gonna say, that's great for positivity and whatever else.
But nobody believes it's genuine. Let's ride. Nobody believes it's
the actual guy. That it's all an actor coming out
there and getting in front of a podium Let's ride,

(11:28):
which is why all his former teammates are dancing celebrating
like the damn this game. Find someone who loves you
as much as Richard Sherman hates Russell Wilson. That's the
kind of relationship you want. Man. Look, Russell, I told
you about Russ that this is who he is. As
as as much as he gets blamed for a lot

(11:49):
of things, the one thing I know, but he's so
image conscious everything he does is this is the image.
I want people to know. This is why I didn't shower,
even though it's what Tom Brady would have done, It's
what Patrick Mahomes would have done, It's what all the
great quarterbacks would No. No No, I want to show you
on madam, gonna sit in front of my locker and
look really upset and disdainful and and and not wondering

(12:12):
where the answers are, and coach is gonna come whisper
to me. People see it. I see through it. I said,
I know when you're giving me an image and you're
giving me something that you want me to believe about you,
I get your pissed. I I can't believe you're not.
You don't need to sit here and and hit me
over the head with Hey, I'm I'm mad like you aren't. No,
I've got to assume you're mad because all football players,
you guys all want to win. What you put your

(12:34):
bodies through to play in a football game. Yeah, you
all want to win. But now here's hey, I want
you to don't blame me, don't get mad at me.
I'm just as mad as you are that this isn't
being fixed. And that's Russell Wilson. That's the big deal
about him. And we saw it at the end of
the game tonight and they perpetrated a fraud on these
Denver Broncos fans. Now, if he'd done that, I think

(12:59):
everybody want to go on all right, at least he's
got a sent to humor about what's going on, oh Man.
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern seven
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart
Radio Whip Fox Sports Radio The Jason Smith Show with
My best friend Mike Harmon. Let's ride to Russell Wilson

(13:22):
ended his press conference Alright, Broncos count country, Let's let's ride.
Let's d like. He didn't even give you a big
let's ride. He was walking away from the mic, he
goes Broncos Country, Let's ride, like what I'm in the
middle of saying, like, let's ride, Let's let's hey, now,

(13:42):
let um, We're gonna bring you a little bit of
Richard Sherman following the post game now and he is
fast becoming must see TV, a part of the Amazon
pre and mid game and post game broadcast crew. That
crew keeps getting bigger. It's eve really big table. It's gonna,
I'm now thirty that airplane table where it's Im Kirk Gouty,

(14:04):
Jim Palmer, Dr Joyce, Brothers, You're gonna and kaln So.
Richard Sherman has not minced words when it comes to
what he feels about Russell Wilson. Was just a week
ago where he did a podcast with one of his
teammates and they talked about how Pete Carroll never had

(14:27):
he never let Russell Wilson feel responsibility for what happened
when the team didn't play well. He would call out
the defensive players and meetings, but he would never call
out Russell Wilson, and Richard Sherman has had that kind
of attitude and belief towards Russell Wilson so tonight after
the game was over. There's a couple of times where
Richard Sherman is shaking. He's ready to talk on the

(14:50):
set so badly. After the way the game ended. The
Broncos go for it on fourth down instead of kicking
a field goal. Russell Wilson throws a pick in the
ends own. It's a bad pass, he doesn't see an
open receiver, and Richard Sherman decides, Okay, now it's time
to eat here he was, wait, wait now here he

(15:12):
was after the game talking about the final play Russell
Wilson and all that good stuff from the Denver Broncos.
You gotta run the ball again. I mean, I wish
I had Marshawn a bere like one yard what run
the ball? All he has to do is run the

(15:35):
football like necessary criticism. Okay, I get that. Here's where
I agree with Richard Sherman to a point. But now when,
because I now he just wants to to jump up
and down on Russell Wilson. What are you gonna do?
Are you gonna You're not gonna give the football to
your best players? This is but this is the reason
with Marshawn right, when you when you were playing that

(15:57):
Super Bowl against the Patriots, who was the best player
Marshaw Marshall Lynch, right so far and on that drive,
So give it to him on the final play, right,
That's why Marshawn Lynch, it made sense. You're giving the
ball to your best player. It wasn't even a fourth
down situation. Was we gotta give the ball to Marshall Lynch.
Who's the Broncos best player? Russell Wilson? Really, what you're
gonna give the ball to to Boon? Really? Oh? We

(16:17):
loved so much? And how you step really? Come on?
You want Russell Wilson, Yes, exactly. Yeah, the execution is bad.
And again going back to the shotgun formation. We talked
to and and I read did a dramatic reading of
Amy Trask's um tweet earlier at Amy Trask, she says, Hi,

(16:38):
by the way, uh, but it's the the idea that
you're you're in shotgun. Well that helps Russell see the field. Right.
If we're gonna talk about his height and what it
means and how it can hurt you in some game situations,
well here's one of them, because you need a yard,
but he needs to see the whole field, and the
only way he's doing that just from the shotgun approach.

(17:01):
So you're at a deficit if you were going to
try to run the ball or the quarterback draw, et cetera.
In the end, he just it's a bad read. Hamdler
says that I could have walked in anybody that's seen it.
You're now standing the all twenty two still photos showing up,
which again people want to get deep into what the

(17:23):
play call is, circumstances whatever quarterback, mister read. I think
we can all stipulate to that right that Judy picked
his man and gave him a walk in opportunity and
he didn't get the ball. He immediately went back to
where Gilmore had already eaten his lunch once and he
got dessert to dessert. But yeah, Richard Sherman, I mean,

(17:50):
it's personal, it's it's good analysis. Unfortunately, it's still gonna
be um clouded by your history. This is where he's
got a bias against Russell Wilson for whatever went on
behind the scenes. But he never Pete Carroll never made

(18:12):
Russell Wilson feel like he had responsibility for a loss. Okay,
well that's your beef with Pete and yeah, I get
your beef with Russell Wilson, but it's like I felt like,
no matter what he was gonna, he was gonna find
a way to blame Russell Wilson. And I get it.
There's many ways to blame. He made the wrong read,
he missed an open receiver, a right Nathaniel Hack. It
is gonna get a lot of blame, will get to
him coming up in a couple of seconds. But this

(18:33):
was just you run the ball. You run the ball, like,
come on, and this is why you're not a coach. Okay,
who are you gonna You're gonna give it to Melvin Gordon? Really, Boot,
You're not giving the ball. You want to win or
lose with the ball in the hands of your best
player and your quarterback is making forty million dollars a year,
and that's the guy to make the play. And that's
the big thing is that Russell Wilson had come over

(18:54):
and with those time outs. And I applaud him for
this right because I've been critical of him and Rodgers
of numerous quarterbacks where they acquiesced in big moments when
they're supposed to be the guy that wants the football, right.
It's like not taking the last shot of a basketball game.
You're supposed to be the guy. You're supposed to be

(19:14):
the finisher. And for Russell Wilson, yeah, you want it
in his hands. But I can also see where he
looks at what the defense is offering, and I gotta
think i'd get six you know, six inches, but behind
my whole lines. Even if you don't trust Melvin Gordon
in in some circumstances, it's it's not the goal line
touch you're worried about. You're worried about getting the first down,

(19:36):
you still have two minutes time out, whatever else. But
in this case, I like that he argued that they
were gonna go for it. Hard fought game, terrible game,
hate watching game for all of America, and when it
was on the line, he wanted the ball in his hand. Unfortunately,
then the excellence of execution failed, his ability to make

(19:57):
a read failed. I mean that's not on hacking, right,
I mean, because Russell's gotta have Again, if you're a
two million dollar man, I gotta imagine you can say,
you know what in that formation that I don't think
that's right in this and you and you should have
the like he's the first year head coach and last
year head coach. Well, but if you can't say no,
that doesn't work. This is what I want. You're you're

(20:18):
arguing your way onto the field. You can't tell me,
you then can't say And while I'm at it, this
is the the look we need. Let's go. Let's right,
Twitter at how about a fresca Mike and swollen dome.
Now it's good you bring up Nathaniel Hackett. And look,
it's always tough. You mean, it used to be used
to the big thing in radio to always be this
guy needs to get fired. Fire lets guy. Well you'll

(20:41):
hear it all over the planet. And and look, I
don't tomorrow and I don't like to, you know, talk.
This guy needs to be fired because I'm I'm I'm
I'm older, and I think about feelings and all kinds
of stuff like that, but I have to talk about reality.
And yeah, I told you earlier in the show, Nathaniel Hackett,
if I gave you the over under of week eight
of of him being fired, I would take the under.

(21:03):
If you gave me ten days from now, after you
gave me after the Chargers game, I might take the under.
We might be talking about the end of him on
Monday Night football. He might get the Herm Edward, he might.
Can you come down to the end zone? He might.
He might get it tomorrow. There's a possibility. And and
it's not just that Nathaniel Hackett is not a good

(21:24):
head coach. Just lots of bad head coaches. And you
see him all the way through, and you see guys
who make mistakes and make bad decisions, but still they
find a way through because they don't lose control to
the extent where everything feels like it's lost. But everything
feels like it's lost in Denver. The big word I've
said about twelve times tonight is toxic. Everything around the

(21:47):
Broncos is toxic. The fans are so mad. They were
leaving the stadium while the game was tied five seconds
and people in the States time they did. They all
got home early. Uh might have hit a dispensary in
a pizza place on the way. Hey, it's it's the
Corsa plant open. I want to go. I want to
I want to give me game man, No, not course light.

(22:13):
I need the banquet, Peter, give me the full stuff.
I need I need the leaded. What are you doing?
You're doing Johnny Lawrence? Why I wanted banquet? Ah? So
it's so bad. It started out badly. And Nathaniel Hackett's
never gotten over the let's try of sixty four yard
field goal instead of giving the ball to Russell Wilson

(22:34):
to try to win a game in the first game
UH of the season back in Seattle. They've never gotten
over that. The team has never gotten better. They have
what I have two touchdowns all season. It's awful. Every
week the fans are booing. Everybody has had enough. The owners,
the new owners are watching this game going, Fans are leaving,
Fans are leaving the game, fans are leaving. There there's

(22:56):
no way forward. He's a first year head coach. He
doesn't know how to use soil Wilson. We talked with
Jason Cole about this a couple hours ago and it
was there's no rollouts, there's no creativity. Let's put Russell
Wilson in the pocket. Duds five ten can't do it.
You're not gonna be able to complete passes. You gotta
let him be russ And And while I I know
there's better, I feel like Berman better days ahead. I

(23:18):
know there's better days ahead. It's gonna be next year
and there's a new head coaching and there's a new
plan going forward, because right now there is nothing that
can be redeemed. And and when you lose the confidence
of everybody associated with the team, there's gotta be a
change because you know, the players are pissed. Whether they're
blaming Russ or they're blaming the fan, you'll hack it,

(23:39):
they're blaming somebody. You're gonna lose this whole team. And
it's two and three right now, you're not owing five
and well, you know whatever, the season's over, we're just
steaming towards a type high draft pick. No, it's two
and three. Things can still be there for you. But
let's make an immediate change. And immediate might be, hey man,
one more game Monday night against the Charge. It's really
gonna see the you see them, the craptastic play of

(24:01):
the Broncos on Monday Night against the Charges. Okay, that
might be it. And there's gonna be a new head
coach in there. All right. It's well, you can't score
touch on you're not beating the Chargers. So there's that.
But the Broncos defense is really good. They have playmakers.
They just have not clicked on offense at all, and
it doesn't seem like Hackett has the answers. And you
know when there's two guys that are getting blamed. One

(24:23):
guy's your forty million dollar quarterbacks, he's not going anywhere,
and the other guys your first year head coach that
people are just as mad with, if not more mad at.
Guess what, that's just reality of how it goes. And
somebody else will come in and be the head coach
and at least you take the temperature down and you
take things back to zero and maybe the team can
it reset and you can make some kind of wild

(24:43):
card run and accelerate the development. Because I always thought
next year was going to be the year for Denver.
This was gonna be rocky because you had to assimilate
Russell Wilson and his style of play. Was it gonna work?
Was this gonna work with him running around in the
pocket to try to find receivers? You needed some time.
I never bought into the it's a super Bowl team
now that you see it. I said they're gonna struggle
this year. Next year is the year when you have

(25:06):
a year saying this is what we did with Russ,
this is what works. Now we can bring in better personnel,
and you have the head coach coming in that's got
a clue on how to use Russell Wilson. So that's
going to happen again week eight. For Nathaniel Hackett, I
feel like that's that's that's an easy call. Now I
put the over under the day after next week against
the Chargers. I still might take the under, but that

(25:26):
might be the day. Yeah. I think part of it
is again going back to the script of eight. You
had months to work in. What is Russ like? Where
is he most successful? That shouldn't be new business, right
if you're you're having an h O A meeting or
your monthly managers meeting, sales meeting, whatever you do out
there for work, we appreciate you listening and being part

(25:47):
of the rich tapestry of what we do here at
Fox Sports Radio. And how about a fresca at Swall
and Dome let us know where you're at. Is the
the idea that all right, this is new business, right,
You've got that? All right? Russell Russell, here we're in
week five. What can we do you know, you had
months to work this up. Lots of practices, lots of

(26:08):
film sessions, lots of zoom calls, plenty of hours in
the day to try to orchestrate what you're working for,
lots of time to ride Broncos. Maybe you shouldn't have
been riding so hard. But now you've got a Colts
team that we see is broken right. The offensive line
is not the same Matt Ryan's and mobile right just
crumbles like that toy that's in the other studio. You

(26:30):
press it in the legs buckle. He's kind of hit
that phase of his career. You get six sacks, couple
of interceptions, and you don't have Jonathan Taylor. What's the
one thing the Broncos defense has had trouble with teams
that can run the football. You watch Josh Jacobs run
wild like whole Comania N five last week. You don't
have Jonathan Taylor. You get a gift. Here's Philip Lindsay, Hey,

(26:51):
you remember him. He just gets called up from the
practice squad, and you've got the Hunt Jackson. They rushed
twenty four times for a hundred two yards. Twittered opportunities
you did and you failed. Look and and you don't
have to believe Mike and I. You can just believe
what every NFL player is saying on Twitter after tell
you we can do four hours of just reading x

(27:13):
NFL players and current NFL players. Quentin Nelson after the game,
it was disgusting and his team won. This sper team
he got. He got the W right. He was in
the game, playing the game to some great steals, him
with like a thousand yards snare in the fourth quarter,
but he got a w and he still said it
was disgusted, disgusting. I can't believe that I just blamed

(27:36):
in it. Be sure to catch live editions of The
Jason Smith Show with Mike Harman weekdays at ten pm Eastern,

(27:57):
and pop culture beat the truth. Absolute fire home Monday's

(28:23):
Let's ride Broncos Country, Let's ride Fox Sports Radio, the
Jason Smith Show with my best friend Mike Carmen. There's
probably still some poor s obs in the parking lot
trying to get out of there. Please let me leave,
you know there, there's no better thing we can tell you.
Then Thursday Night football with the Cults and the Broncos

(28:44):
maybe the greatest hate watch I've seen a football game
in sports, well until next Thursday, when the Commanders play
the by There's no expectations on either of those teams, though.
Will Ron Rivera be fired by half? No? No, no,
well the expect will we see a touchdownd? I don't
know what's the odds for next week? It was to

(29:05):
one today? Okay, what what are we gonna get? More? True?
I will try harder, more, more of next, more of next, more.
What's numbers? Greater the total number of points we saw
tonight or the total number of times the Bears let
Justin Fields pass next Thursday night. Now, a couple of

(29:27):
things with the Amazon broadcast, we've talked about Russell Wilson
the night he has it's not working. Trust me, it
will be okay next year when there's a new head
coach down and you're gonna get a new head coach
in a couple of weeks because Nathaniel Hackett has done.
It's but a couple of things tonight. Uh to go
over with the broadcast. Number one, when when Amazon signed

(29:49):
off and they put up the slate saying thank you
for watching next week, Commanders versus Bears, we'll see you
next We the graphic that that graphic looks like it
was from the early eighties, Like, are you gonna replay
when Riggins is running, you know, up the gut and
he finds his way into Mike Singletary's arms or something

(30:12):
like that. Then I can get on board. It should
have said Commanders that bears please watch anyway. I mean,
I really tomorrow. Here's a QR code for ten dollars
off your dude. I gotta I gotta wake up in
the morning and get some kind of of refund in
my Amazon account. Hey, we saw that your TV was

(30:33):
tuned into the Colts and the Broncos. Here's fifty dollars
towards here Alexa. You watched the entire game for doing
from your prizes Alexa, a roomba. You know, you know
what you know how when you're on here's a fire stick?
No no, But when you're on your streaming services and
you maybe you've taken a nap, you've walked away your

(30:55):
your second second screening, and all of a sudden, are
you still there? Like they should have that in the
third quarter? Are you still watching this? And if you clicked,
he asked, because you were still actively watching it, you
should have gotten a code for a coupon. I'd like
to return this football Can you please credit my account?
I'm returning this football game because it was awful. Uh.
The other thing is this the big video, The big

(31:18):
piece of video from this game will remember. Obviously will
the fourth down play kJ Hamler slamming his home because
he was wide open. Russell Wilson didn't see him. Russell
Wilson at the postgame podium in full uniform because he
wants the image of hey, I care out there. Uh.
The other thing that will remember is Broncos fans streaming

(31:39):
out of the game when the game was going to
overtime after the Colts make the kick to go to overtime.
Look everybody had enough nine nine going to ot enough.
This is the night where everybody says enough. I will
not stand for bad football. And Amazon showed the fans leaving,
and then they cut to a camera outside that showed
fans walking down the steps, and they cut away from

(32:00):
that immediately. And I guarantee you there was people in
the control room or the phone rang and it was
the NFL, is are bleeping product. We do not show
people leaving the stadium. We're showing overtime. The game's not over.
Oh wait, sorry, it's my first production of a live
NFL game, because you know where Amazon. I mean, I

(32:20):
spent some time watching marvelous Mrs Masal before, so so wait,
it doesn't end to the time. No, we go overtime.
I'm sorry, what does that mean? Now we're producing a game.
I don't understand. I really I I don't. I don't
get it. I don't understand. I guarantee you there was
a very very quick decision to say, stop showing people
leaving the game, go back to the product. Don't give
people an excuse. Hey, yeah, let's turn this thing off.

(32:40):
I guarantee you there is something and if not, there's not.
If not. But in addition to that, there will be
a conversation tomorrow with Hey, you're new with this, Amazon.
I get it. You have people that know what they're doing.
You don't show that. You don't show people leaving the
stadium when when the game is going to overtime. What
are you kidding with this? With the National bleep in
Football League? Man, we're not We're not high school football

(33:01):
game at halftime at homecoming when it's forty two nothing,
everybody's leaving because I want to go get haircuts or
go get a sandwich. No. No, you stay on this
broadcast and you show that there's excitement going on, but
we cut to the fans. They're all upset. Yeah, cut
to the upset fans. That's kind of fun for everybody watching.
But don't show people leaving the game? What are you stupid? Yeah?
You you can show them going up the stairs and

(33:23):
just make a joke about, well, the beer sales are done,
maybe they need to use the restroom. Is they get
ready for an exciting overtime finish or whatever the case
may be. But and I haven't heard the audio, but
we certainly saw the video streaming out. Uh, and how
quickly they had the next shot of people outside the
stadium concerning you're the NFL offices in New York, because

(33:47):
what's the reputation of Thursday games? Not good? Right? Occasionally
you get something big, you get a big story certainly
coming out of them at times, but the games themselves,
based on the quick turnaround injury issues, etcetera, tend to
be a bit sloppy. I mean, the best play offensively
for either team tonight was the big pass player that

(34:08):
Russell Wilson had after the referee knocked down the safety
was coming over to intercept the past and then to
Broncos receivers fought for it. I want the yards. It
was my fantasy owners, feed the yards more than yours.
Sun in the middle standard Gilmore made a couple of
big plays and anything, but then from an offensive perspectially,
I was trying to look for some offensive positivity because saying, hey,

(34:31):
you know what, he really struck the ball well from
fifty two yards doesn't quite get it done. I really
want to see what the ratings are for this game tomorrow.
I can't wait to see what they are. I wonder
how long it's gonna take from my retinas to heal.
I think more people tuned in the worst the game got. No,
there's no question for Mike. I'm Jason Twitter And how
about a Fresca Mike, it's swollen down. My buddy Ben
Maller coming up next tomorrow. Sure's are lost

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
