(00:23):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. Smith's gone. He's been
ostra sized, kicked out of town, and well I'm left
for a satchel of Big Max sandwiches Mike Harmon alongside
Chris Blank. That's right. There is no Smith this week.
He is on a long awaited vacation, something that was

(00:46):
pre covid in the process. We last week we heard
all about his pre vacation, colin oscopy and not being
able to eat for a couple hours. You thought that.
You know, they've taken everything away from him and moved
him into a blank room instead. He's off in pacing
so he can beat it. We'll see him next week

(01:07):
at how about a frescue if you want to mock
him because it's Jets loss, We'll do a little of
that because a lot of finger pointing and a lot
of angst. They're in New Jersey coming up. But we
got Chris Plank in with us, and I think it's
a welcome visit for him because on the other side,
he doesn't have Arnie Spaniard shove four hours, three hours,
seven hours of Miami Dolphins talked out his throat at

(01:29):
quite show where you find if I do Chris question, Yeah,
this is the Jason Smith and My Harmon Show. Correct. Yeah,
well it's it's still got the with We're still fighting
over those those verbage things. But yeah, what's the difference.
Is there a difference in that? Oh? Yeah, no, no,
then there were equals. If I'm a with I'm like
a special guest star. Yeah, I learned something today. Heck,

(01:51):
I've been in radio for a minute and I never
knew that gives us the equality with It's kind of like, hey,
you're a special guest star. We need to fight against
that then, But I'm just saying I think it might
get me more money that way. Chris, Uh, look at you.
That's whole other. If you're not doing this on air,
what we're doing with the Jason Smith and My Carman

(02:13):
Show are with my Carman Show. How come you're left
to carry the water during a vacation, Mike, You're on
essentially like seven days a week, so I don't know
why you don't get that break and that world tour
as well. Are you even forty five yet? Do you
need to get a colonoscar? I am forty nine. I
had to have an emergency one a couple of years ago. Well,

(02:35):
I don't think we need to go to and definitely
we'll go. We'll go just deep into the I may
have had a stomach issue that had turned into a
very serious stomach issue. Fortunately were was and we fixed
most of that. We still got some work to do
on some other things. But do you like you? I mean,
you have to be the guy that carries the show.

(02:59):
When he's here. You can ask Ti Shirt. I mean,
there's no difference. It's really the way it goes. He
he rants and raids and I bring logic to in
order back to the world. That's kind of where Mike
Harmon the voice of logic. I like it. Well, pup
to be here, man. We got a lot. We got
a good money night football game going on. It's wild weekend.
There's tons of I think breaking news in college football tonight,

(03:22):
but then Lane Kiffin shuts it down. So let's go
on on a Thanksgiving week Monday, Mike. I see. That's
the thing though, Chris. Now, with the new world of Twitter,
we always had to worry about, you know, the faux accounts.
But if you spent two seconds to see that there
was no verification, you were good. Now you've got blue
check marks all over the damn place. You have no

(03:42):
idea what's real, what's imagined, and you actually have to
do research upon research. It's it's it's tiring because let
the Lane Kiffin thing, and I saw it, you know,
as I began my two hour drive in welcome back
to southern California traffic. So one thing about the COVID time,
I did not miss to drive from my house in
twenty five minutes every day. Now it's back to like

(04:03):
nearly two hours. It was almost late. I barely had
time to make a cup of coffee. But I mean, listen,
I'm from a flyover state right now, so we haven't
been worried about COVID stuff for like about two years now,
so I'm glad you're finally getting through it. And traffic
come on harmon, look at me, I probably could walk
to work. So that's pretty sweet. That is not a
bad deal. But yeah, you've got the rumor of Lane

(04:26):
Kiffin doing a little bit of job hopping and talking
about that. So that is in the offing, no question
about it tonight because it is that part of the
season for college football. We've got the advancement of playoff
like prospects. We've got coaches like mine, Pats fit Fitzgerald
that because the season has been so bad, he's being
flipping and just walking away from the microphone like he
stole something. And then you've got the silly season about

(04:48):
to begin. Here's the funny thing about this tonight, just
in and I'll be quick because I could go on
college football and the next thing you know, it's our
four Oh no, we got plenty of time. We got
four hours, bunny, we could let it breathe. But yeah,
I go The Lane Kiffin report came from an actual
blue checkmark. The problem is, and I say this with
peace and love, it was from a local TV news

(05:09):
anchor who, by the way, when it comes to breaking
news reports in the sports world, they're hitting about a
buck eighty five. So they're very much below the mendoze
A line. So this was I don't know, somebody who
had a buddy or a friend tell him something and
he throws it on Twitter and knows it's gonna blow
up because everyone's talking lane Kiffin to Auburn, only to

(05:30):
have lane Kiffin shut it down mid mid your fifteen
minutes of fame and my man hasn't even had a
chance to walk it back yet. So lane Kiffin continues
to stay undefeated on Twitter and and Mike, you know,
we've got like nine vacancies right now in college football,
maybe more of Texas A and it makes a move.
But we'll see if the lane Kiffin things comes and

(05:51):
comes to a fruition. But it seems like tonight was
a little ready shoot aim. Whenever it comes. You're trying
to be first on a report. Now we will get
back to the college landscape because Dean Sanders name now
being bandied about for a couple of these openings, which
is interesting in the age of everybody's mad about Jeff
Saturday and everything else in terms of length of coaching

(06:15):
opportunities and all of those things. But we gotta finish
the Lane kiffen. The tweet that he did send out
that you reference this just in breaking news anchor here. Uh.
W c B I n well b a w c
B I News and Starkville plans to step down as
lead anchor and head to other players to become their

(06:35):
new lead anchor. Sources say they haven't offered the job
to anyone yet, so this is happening story soon. I
don't like to give the guys credit now. I like
when they get it wrong, so part of me wants
to stomp on it because even the best of the best,
I've been getting it wrong with some regularity of late.
But that's the problem with trying to be the breaking

(06:56):
news guy. The thing with the guy in the place
sometimes is not the thing with the guy in the
place actually happening now. Uh. We we saw a great
first half with the forty Niners, the seventeen ten lead
over Arizona. A lot being made going into this game,
all right. We got George Kittle and his love of wrestling,
the w w E walks in with the Luchador Matt.

(07:18):
You know me, Chris, I can get behind any w
w E inspired rants, So I'm good there. Uh. The
idea of Kyle Shanahan in his career as forty Niners
had head coach, has had multiple opportunities, but has never
been above five hundred. If you can believe that he's
even with their success, he's never been above five hundred

(07:38):
for the career as a forty Niners coach. Well, there's
some stinkers in there, right, because they ended up with
a high draft pick to get Bosa and Rode that
little roller coaster had was not aware of that with Shanahan,
so good on him. Maybe he can get a roll
in here. Uh, poor Niners never seemed like they can
catch a break. I'll tell you, just awful, awful stuff. Yeah,
this is the seventh time this has happened, and he's

(08:01):
lost all the previous opportunities. Went back when he was
zero and zero lost his first game to the Carolina
Panthers back in But we just had a big explosive
play a touchdown run from Deebo Samuel to extend the lead.
Now ten thirty four remaining in the third Garoppolo a
hundred fifty seven yards, two touchdowns. George Kittle, that man,

(08:24):
as Alex Tyshert asked me, his favorite guy was always Gronkowski,
just you know, dominant performer and and a showman and
kid will being that guy? Could he be that guy?
I'm like, yep. They both play sporadically and sometimes they're spectacular.
One way do three catches fifty two yards and the
score Devo with six and fifty now thirty seven and
a touchdown on the ground for Arizona moving the ball well,

(08:47):
yardage was pretty even at the half, Chris, but first
down plays miserable. Remember it runs clock, So if you're
decided underdog, that's not the worst thing in the world
for you sometimes, but you do have to try to
fall forward. And then Colt McCoy, everything was, oh, he
won't throw picks, he won't do this, while Connord went
an alligator arm bit or thought he was justin Jefferson
and you have the interception that cuts down what could

(09:10):
have been a scoring opportunity. So two ten now Arizona
looking to uh, well, I just can keep seeting DeAndre Hopkins,
I think is what it comes down to. Christ Yeah,
that so far they've connected with him seven times. Chase,
listen to me, I'm going with his little brother's not
case McCole. McCoy's not the little brother's Colt McCoy gets
the start tonight. You mentioned the pick. That was a

(09:30):
tough play because Connor tips it in the air. But
the thing I like, they're now two scores. But the
thing I like about what Arizona has done eight targets,
seven catches. You hit it on the head. They're getting
DeAndre Hopkins involved. That seems to be the complaint, uh
and what some people are having problems with when it

(09:50):
comes to u Kyler Kyla Murray's health is a problem.
We'll get to that in a bit. But it doesn't
seem as if they're they're trying to get the ball
to DeAndre Hopkins enough tonight looks like Cliff Kingsbury made
a concerted effort, had a really nice drive. In fact,
I I didn't do. I haven't known too much. I
haven't seen much of Greg Dorge this year. But that
was a big time play he made to keep the

(10:11):
Cardinals in this game at first half. Seven yard catching run. Yeah,
I was big. But that we'll see if they continue
to try to get the ball to DeAndre Hopkins. See
what San Francisco does defensively. But now you're Arizona and
you know they're gonna try to get the running games
still going with James Conner. I'm glad to see the
Kingsbury hasn't flipped out with a two score deficit and
just try to throw it NonStop. But they need to

(10:33):
get a score here on this drive. This is a
massive drive within go in the third court in this
game for Arizona to stay in this game. And I
know that I'm not trying to get carried away by
looking at playoffs yet, but I know that bottom of
the NFC is tight, Harmon. So at four and six,
you can't afford to be four and seven right now
for Arizona. They need to win to stay in this
mix for a playoff spot. And of course even the

(10:54):
division in the NFC West that no one is running
away with right now. Well, and that's the thing. Scratching
and Clawn we talked out the division. Seattle still a
top bye week this past week after losing to the Buccaneers,
a lot of people waiting for the other shoe to drop.
With Geno Smith, I got I got news for you folks. Accuracy.
Those two wide receivers are fantastic. Kenneth Walker is a player,

(11:17):
and that defense is young and just getting more experienced
and better, don't I don't see. And Pete Carroll knows
how to coach and he doesn't have to cow tow
to a quarterback who, as you saw yesterday for your Raiders. Uh,
sometimes even loses control of his own game situations. Why
are you throwing the ball of the two in the morning.
I'm happy about it. Thank you Russell Wilson for doing that.

(11:39):
But that was the dumbest thing I've ever seen in
my life. But I don't know, this is Schlaith on
your show? Does Mark Slaith come on your show once
in a while, not very frequently. I don't know if
there was some edict in Denverse sitting down to everyone.
But every little thing Russell Wilson did was apparently the
greatest thing that that that he had seen. He's like, wow,
Russell Wilson is affecting the game with his cadence. Look

(12:03):
at Russell Wilson under center. We don't see this verio.
I mean literally, his hand Russell Wilson's handoffs are the
greatest things you've ever seen. And of course it was
supposed to save the Broncos because Nathaniel Lack gave a
play calling but guests, what they lost the point more
than anything else, uh is Yeah, nothing's fixed in Denver.
We'll see if something's fixed in Arizona tonight. And we've

(12:25):
got all kinds of storylines glore Mike that we're gonna
spend the better part of the next three hours and
forty five minutes. Not like I'm counting down to bed
to talk about here tonight on Fox Sports Radio, we
a lot. Be sure to catch live editions of The
Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern,
seven pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the I
Heart Radio app. Oh, welcome back to the tire Rack

(12:47):
dot Com Fox Sports or Radio Studios Mike Armen alongside
Chris Plank. There is no Jason Smith tonight, Jason smitchow
with me, Mike Carmen. Gotta get that official title and
every now and again, um, but yeah, we're are in
the tire Act dot Com studio. So much goodness in
this NFL weekend. Chris, I know you and Harney got
a chance to chop it up a little bit last night,

(13:09):
but now we continue it with our body Jason Lock
and Flora. Honestly, one oh five point seven the fan
at Jason Lock and foorah where you find him on Twitter.
We got a final international game rolling right now, Jason
to end what was a pretty exciting and dramatic week
eleven in the National Football League. Are we doing good?

(13:30):
I'm rooting for a backdoor cover here. Yeah, I mean,
we'll see what the second half holds. Uh, Mexico City, right,
A lot of smog, a lot of altitude, so we'll
see if that plays a factor. But yeah, another wild
week in the NFL. See if air quality in the
height gets people kind of cramping up, like the end

(13:51):
of the men's national game earlier. Get me started. Yea,
you know a jackass. So yeah, Sham says, you hire
sham coach, he gets sham results. I forgot Jason Locking
for a soccer insider. This is an insider, but I'm
definitely soccer opinionated. I've been watching I've been watching professional

(14:12):
soccer since the n A s L in the late seventies,
and I've watched the Rise of the Men's program, and
I know I complete charlatan clown jackass fraud when I
see one, and that was apparent from the moment. Nepotism
got this guy hired in the first place, and he'll
do his damage and then he'll get a golden parachute
in MLS and keep making money to be a fraud
clown jackass. Let's go. Let's talk Tulsa Roughnecks at some

(14:35):
point in a s L history here anyway you want,
You know, Washington dips Strikers won't talk to some m
I s L. I'd love to St. Louis steamers Dale.
Durant I really opened the door Slobo Ilievski. He came
to my grade school. I became a soccer fan for life.
Did you get an autograph? Yeah, Darryl Durant I got
his autograph. I still have it here in studio. What

(14:57):
we're watching tonight? You guys brought it up. Are we
nearing any kind of make or break time for not
just Cliff Kingsbury but Kyler Murray here? I know well again,
I know I always hurt, but man, I just did
seem like everyone's teeing off on him tonight because of
his unavailability and Cliff Kingsbury continues to just get out coached. Yeah,
I mean I was here in rumblings last week. Had

(15:19):
they lost that that might have been it UM and
they obviously one with the backup, and now you're going
to Mexico City playing the number one defense in the
league and at least in terms of yards, in the
top five defense in terms of points UM and some
difficult elements. So I think the most indicting sort of
damning thing for Kyler Murray is I've watched them in

(15:41):
the last two weeks and I'm like, I think Kyler
Murray would have been like, I think this game would
have already had a reach that Kyler Murray was playing,
because he would have held the ball too long, he
would have tried to get to cut, he would have
tried to do too much against the defense that's out
there to rip your face off. And at least McCoy

(16:01):
understands like, I'm gonna find my hots, I'm going to
get the ball out in two and a half, you know,
two point two seconds, and I'm going to live to
fight another day. I'm I'm not going to think that
I can you know, play play Superhero Ball and and
better that defense, especially um in these sort of elements.

(16:21):
So I look, they're not going anywhere anytime soon. UM.
They haven't been a real contending team for a long time,
and they're not close to being a contending team. But
whatever these this sample size might tell us about Kyler Murray,
this much, we know they are also stuck with him.

(16:42):
So you know, there's still like even if the un
fire cliffs, they should have fired the GM a long
time ago. But what are you doing? Like the quarterbacks
not going anywhere, and I mean, what the hell are
you going to trade them for us? So I know
that's stuck with him. Yeah, I've done a couple of
rants on time like you did to start this thing,

(17:03):
so where we're kindred spirits on that thing. And as
you imagine with Colt McCoy getting the ball out, that's
you know, objective number one. That's the Kyler Murray. It's
the best of worlds when it works, and it becomes
the kiss of death when it doesn't. Another team looking
at a quarterback change is the New York Football Jets.
I'm sorry, I'm not here to torment Smith tonight, but

(17:25):
after like an two hour meeting right when you got
Robert Salo, who's never late for anything, shows almost two
hours late, We've got some personal things with staff. I
were fighting over whether it's Mike White or Joe Flacco. Right, Well,
you I mean, look, if they go back to Zach
Wilson after all this, you know, shame on them, Like

(17:46):
you have set this up and you've sent a signal
to your fan base and to the media that yes,
we acknowledge that this is a joke and we've had enough,
just like you've had enough. And if at the end
result of that is for any reason, one reason or
the other, them going back to this kid, then um,

(18:07):
the bottom might really fall out. So yeah, I have
to think that they're just trying to figure out which
direction are we going? You know, is it Flacco? Is
it White? Um? They had some pretty productive passing games
early in the season with Flacco, and that was before
Garrett Wilson really kind of came into his own. So

(18:29):
I mean, look at this, Do I say, are the
Jets winning a Super Bowl? No? Just coming close to
winning a Super Bowl this year? No? But like, wouldn't
the Jets making the playoffs and like looking like they're
turning the corner and getting the fans to buy back
in and then figuring out the quarterback thing in the
off season, whether it's draft or trade or whatever. Like,

(18:52):
could that be more viable than anything we've seen from
them in a long time? Yeah, you know, I think
a Smipper was here, he would be like, get us,
sign me up for that, Like, let's let's find a
way to win three, four more games down the stretch,
and once you're in anything is possible. And get this

(19:12):
franchise reaccustomed to playing in the postseason, and get this young,
hungry defense some rewards for how well they've played so
that they get that postseason but at the Apple and
then we'll see what the hell happens. But you can't
have a quarterback who's a failure as a leader, who's
a failure as a passer, who's a failure as a
reader of defenses, who's a failure as a decision maker.

(19:34):
And that's and and and that's what he's been the
entirety of this thing. And could it turned around? Maybe?
Is it likely to turn around in New York? Not
bloody likely. Yeah. The number of guys on the squad
that went out of their way, this is almost like
the X teammates of Russell Wilson pilot up on him.
But you're watching it happen in real time. I mean
you're watching guys like Garrett Wilson just teeing off. And

(19:57):
then Robert Sali said, yeah, he's well within his rights
to say he did. Like, oh okay, Mr Helper, that's
what we have. The sad thing, though, is Mr lock
and for As Smith would have been saying, I hate
to say I told you so about his own Jets
because he called this three weeks ago, that the Bloodless
Coup was gonna happen and that we'd see another quarterback
for the Jets to try to get to the playoffs. Well,

(20:19):
this is object failure. So I mean it's it's yeah,
it's time. Hey, Jason um, is there any reason for
concern with the Eagles and the Bills. I mean, they
keep winning games, and I'm one of those doors that
probably holds how they won a game too much against him.
But you know, Bill seven and three, I wonder how
healthy Josh Allen is. The Eagles needed a couple breaks

(20:40):
to pull it out, but they still pulled it out.
Any cause for concern? I mean, look, there's so many
bad to slightly mediocre teams in this league that I
do feel like we're picking ns. But like the Bills
saying in particularly. Yeah, I think there's a little reason
for concern. Um. I'm working on a piece for the

(21:02):
Washington Post right now, like talking to some people about
the Bills and soliciting some opinions, and the Brian Dable
factor may be very real. This was a team that
led the NFL in second half scoring last year, uh
there six and second half scoring this year, and if

(21:23):
you go back to the last six weeks, I think
they've scored twenty six second half points. They're they're like
twenty nine in the league and scoring. So and you
look at this Giants team, right and the adjustments they've
made and how good they've been in the second half.
We know how much dables adjustments and play calling mint
in the second half of games with the Bills the

(21:44):
last couple of years with Alan, And it's also sort
of like, I really feel like Dable was his sense
a like Dabel could tell when he was when Allen
was about the default back to like street ball mode
and just like glory ball, do you too much? I
can throw it through a brick wall, so I could
throw it through this safety and this linebacker, and he

(22:05):
could kind of like I and I felt like people
I'm talking to feel like he could tamp that down,
he could kind of see it coming. He got to
that sort of guru status where they could talk through
things through the week and he could rein that in.
And I don't know where that relationship is with Ken
Dorsey right now, but I do know that like the

(22:26):
passing game there is not what we thought it was
gonna be. And the offensive productive production, especially again in
the second half of games, is not what we're accustomed
to it being. And the defense is dealing with a
lot of injuries right now. So I think they're austinitely
gonna be fine. I think they're still in a lead team,
but there's some concern there. And you know, with the Eagles,
like I look at last week and say, you know what,

(22:51):
if they got that much out of Lynnville, Joseph and
Dominican sue off the street and those guys are going
to sort of get healthier, right and those guys are
not gonna get the she legs under him, and Jordan
Davis was going to come back at some point in time,
And that was the sort of one like ultimate underbelly
of that team was, oh my god, what's happening against
the run? If they have plugged it up that well.

(23:16):
I look, that's a good thing. I mean, that's a
really good football team. And I feel like the run
games bobbed down just a little bit, and you know,
maybe there's some things to work on there. But I
wouldn't be overly concerned about other team. But I do
think there might be a little brain drain in Buffalo
Jason Smit Show with Mike Carvin here Fox Sports Radio.

(23:37):
Smith is out, Chris Plank is tagged in and he's
throwing haymakers at Plank Show on the Hotline with us
our buddy Jason Locke and four you heard about it
Washington Post one, O five seven the Fan in Baltimore
Odyssey and you find him on Twitter at Jason Locke
and for a kind to join us, Join us and
talk some NFL shop each and every week, talk about
mediocrity and the race for fun. I mean, we got that.

(24:00):
NFC East Cowboys responded well after Mike cal Parsons called
everybody out and said, I'm tired of carrying you. Yeah.
I look, I do think that defense is has some
work to do. This game was just like a perfect storm, right.
I mean, you looked at the first couple of drives
and you're like, oh, Dalvin Cook's doing what we thought

(24:21):
he would do, Like they really can't stop the run,
and then everything snowballs and by two minutes five minutes
in the second quarter, like they couldn't run anymore. So
oh and and then that's the perfect script. Now we've
got the better part of three quarters of tea off
on your quarterback. Oh and Darsol hasn't a lot of
sack all year. Now he's in concussion protocol. Oh, he's

(24:42):
not coming back in the game. Oh, there's some other
guys thing up on the offensive line. Like it just
you know, it kept coming in waves and it never stopped.
I don't know that every you know week is going
to go that way. And I do think that teams
that really bear down and lean into the run, specially

(25:02):
teams that can get sort of multiple in the run
game and and have that option element as well and
can play around with the mesh point with the mobile quarterback,
I think it would be a problem for them, and
I think some weeks should be a real big problem
for them. And yeah, there's two teams in their division
that can do that really well. And even Heineke is
a little bit sort of frisky and spry. Not that

(25:23):
they're you know, playing the option game with keepers the
way the Giants uh and the Eagles are. But um,
I color me still a little bit of cowboys skeptic.
Got thirty seconds. Jason is Nathaniel Hackett gonna make it
through the season. That was easy enough. There you go.

(25:46):
Mad either can give you the extemporaneous speech or he
can cut to the quick with just as much precision.
That's our guy, Jason Locket for. I find him on
Twitter at Jason locket for a one five point seven
the fan there in bald Or. Listen to him each
and every day. Appreciate your brother, thanks for you. Likewise,
have a good holiday that James locking for. So there

(26:08):
you go, Chris, you got the rant right off to
jump with the United States men's team. I knew if
I just put that on a t he would come swinging,
although I think that would would have been a shank
shot because it was too much in his emotions. But
I was not doing but I felt every bit of it.
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith

(26:29):
Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm. Eastern seven
pm Pacific grittings. Welcome back into the tire rack dot Com.
Fox Sports Radio Studios having a blast with you here
on Monday, Happy Holidays. If you're all out and about.
Given the traffic patterns that we're seeing in reports from
all over the country via the social media channels, let's

(26:50):
be careful out there, be safe and share the roads.
Don't be a dope. Take the extra half hour to
get there and otherwise you're gonna cause chaos for you
and for everybody else. This p s A it brought
to you by me, Geez Louise half hour. I'm just
I'm just saying, like, just being smart about it. Okay,
hold on it saying I'm a moron. Your road trips
with the family, you got to get to Grandma's house,

(27:13):
got you? I got smart Talking about just driving around
the neighborhood, I'm like, damn, harmon, you're worse than I
am in trying to avoid your family driving around the
neighborhood to get home thirty minutes. But yes, well you
can do that too. I mean, while listening to Fox Sports,
you're taking on the I Heart radio app wherever you go,
or let's be smart about a couple of things out here.
If you are driving this holiday week and number one,
the left lane is for passing, you dopes. Don't get

(27:35):
in there and drive the speed limit of five miles
under number two, um trucks, big trucks, Diesel's love you
lifeblood of our society. Give him a break, people, but
stay out of the left hand lane. Guys, all right there,
that's my that's my help in driving for the weekend.
Leave the left hand lane for those crazy people like myself.

(27:57):
The speed stirs. I know, Jay Glazer likes I fast
and he's a regular here with you and Jason. Yeah,
but you know what he does. He's got guys like
how he Long driving in last year. That was the
gift we got I think four times during the year
that going to from the Fox lot in the airport,
Jay was hanging out with how he Long is his driver.
So we got the benefit of two legends on air

(28:19):
for a twenty minute segment each week. They can't beat that,
especially whenever how he Longing to sit there. I'm sure
it was all about raider memories, right, No, he'd started
making fun of stupid things Glazer did. Bah, that's probably
even better some of the stories, well some of them
are non FCC compliance. So we've agreed in theory during
Super Bowl Week in Arizona, where a lot of those

(28:41):
guys now have homes, that we will hear some more
of those stories in earnest. So make your way to Arizona,
Mr Plank, I don't think that's gonna happen. The Raiders
are getting there three and seven. I'm feeling really good
right now. You know you got them right where you
want them. Hey, the forty Niners now up thirty one
ten as we start the fourth quarter, seeing exactly how

(29:02):
miserably this ends for the Cardinals after that one game renaissance.
But you got a victory, Raiter's one. Um. And and
here's the great thing about it, Mike Harmon, I am
um tried and true, die hard Vegas Raider fan. Also
I am a die hard, tried and true Oklahoma Sooner fan.
This was a big weekend because it was the first

(29:24):
time and over a year that both of my teams
won on the same week. I didn't make you feel
and what did you do to celebrate? Drank a lot? No,
I'm kidding. I got to sit with Auntie Spanier for
three hours so that you didn't have to talk. You
got to gloat because the Dolphins didn't play. You think
I get to gloat. You think that man lets you
gloat on it. Whoever was running the board the mutium

(29:46):
he has powers that somehow overcome that wizard in a
long time. But honestly, it's interesting because I'm syrup. He
sends out to be honest with you. Well, I have
a theory behind that. I think he sends the syrup
out to try to play nice guy so he can
be an a hole to you for three d sixty
four days out of the year. One day he's nice, Hey,

(30:06):
did you get the syrup? Yeah? Your team sucks. You
should be fired. I'm gonna fire you anyway. No, it's
just like to fire people. There's no question, and he
has no power. But as as a Raiders fan, I
just I want him to be respectable. I want him
to be a good team. What I didn't want was
the situation that you're seeing in Denver, and as George
Kittle takes it into the end zone to make it

(30:27):
thirty seven to in San Francisco, what we're seeing in Arizona.
I didn't want to be in a situation where all
season long it was is Josh McDaniel's gonna get out
of his first year? Is he gonna be fired? Now?
I don't think he's doing a good job. He's three
and seven, But they've had injuries, as has everyone, and
it's stymy their growth. What I am intrigued now is

(30:48):
not trying to get away from the Raiders and the
level of suck that we're at despite having two of
our three wins over maybe got three more hours, and
the other one being over the Texans. But I didn't
need to kick you while you're down. Who has one win?
That's right? I mean? And they're mulling a quarterback change now,
but go ahead, Blue the Texans on what might be
It could be worse. Your quarterback could have a dislocated

(31:09):
left shoulder, but we'll talk justin fields bes alone. See,
you can't just sit here and go arnie and take
pot shots at people and not expect your quarterback who
hurt the wrong shoulder, the shoulder he can actually probably
throw better with his left one. Um, I'm keep running around.
Eventually you're gonna get drilled. But I'm more intrigued to
see what happens with the coaching situations now in Denver

(31:30):
and in Arizona, because this is an embarrassment. It's thirty
eight to ten, it's not going well. It hasn't gone
well all season long. You heard what Jason latin Fores said.
Could they possibly be punning now? I'm also wondering are
we counting down until seconds whenever we see Nathaniel Hackett fire?
I mean, it's it's almost Tuesday, Jason, It's almost tuesday.

(31:50):
Are they gonna elevate dom capers? Are they? Are? They? Are? Are?
Did I say, Jason? Sorry? Uh? It's Are they gonna
let him coach against Carolina this weekend and maybe get
a little bit motivation going for that team? I have
no idea, because if you're gonna make a move, you
would think it would be now for a dinner going forward.
So Jason lock and Forth said that he thought the
move would be made. Um, I'm shocked that we didn't

(32:13):
have it here earlier today. But we'll see if maybe
we get breaking news after this one is over. The
Cliff Kingsbury's out, well, no, and that and that becomes
a larger question. We can carry this in the next
hour as we continue here from the tire Act dot Com.
Fox Sports Radio Studios Chris plank in for Jason Smith
Mike Harmon with you here on a holiday Monday. But yeah,
that is the larger question. How much do those contracts

(32:34):
speak when it comes down to coaching decisions. We'll get
into that across the league because there are many situations
where that is the case here on Fox
