is so far, the most fun thing not this is

My prediction of Utah pulling the upset is alive and
what but how much fun is it that the PAC

twelve championship game looks like a legitimate game, right, Like,
it looks like a conference champion. People are at the game,
it's on Big Fox. This is not those random Friday
nights of years past where four thousand people at Levi
Stadium watching Oregon and Washington State. I mean, this looks
like it's a legitimate game. This is like, hey, yeah,

we got playoff implications, we have a star team in US. Okay,
the PAC twelve title game is legit. I'm I'm kind
of digging that right now. It's an easy drive to
Las Vegas or a one hour flight from Los Angeles. Yeah,
all of those things factor in USC is relevant again
for the first time I guess since Sam Donald. If

we go there and then before that, I was all
the pregame stuff, Let's see more of Reggie Bush, you
know that kind of thing. So yeah, all of those
things piled together and converge to make what has been
a fantastic first half with uh pageantry and the crowd
shots are fantastic because you're like, patron, Patron, that guy

was beer, that guy like and you're and you're just
picking out probably getting cut off at their next run
to the concession stand. Uh uh, So it is. It's
a fun game. It looked for a while like USC
was gonna roll away, and I really, I really thought
the game was gonna be the opposite. It was Utah
that was gonna get out big, and what USC has

done all year long is realty tames. In second quarter,
third quarter, Caleb Williams gets going and USC winds up
rolling through everybody. But it's the exact opposite. USC looked
like they were gonna blow the doors off of Utah,
and Utah withstands their offense early, even though Caleb Williams
had his Highsmid moment with that big video game run
that's set up a touchdown earlier in the first half,
(03:20):
and now the game is kind of settled a little bit.
And this is bad news for USC because USC relies
on that tidal wave of momentum with their offense continuing
to roll that team out there, because all they gotta
do is get a stop once in a while, because
this defense is awful. What they were lying is, Hey,
the offense gets going, we got a three in out,
another touchdowns on the board. Now maybe we allow a

touchdown then, but our offense scores a touchdown, we get
another three in out. All they need is a couple
of three in outs with the game being out of
control and the other team can't catch up. But this
game has settled down at halftime. Now Utah has forced
u C USC into making mistakes. This is not where
USC wanted to be and wants to be at halftime
momentum wise, they wanted to be. Hey, this is the

exact opposite. They wanted to be the team scoring two
touchdowns of the second quarter, getting Utah thinking as they
go into the break. Now Utah's got USC thinking and hey,
we gotta really step it up again here in the
second half. This is this is not quite the formula
USC has been used to so far. So if I
look at this game, even though it's tied at halftime,
big time advantage to Utah. Yeahs. And you just watched

the momentum swing whether you believe in it or not.
Let you watch the flow of the game. And i
gotta say I've watched so much foodball slash soccer. I'm like, wow,
after that kickoff when he got went down in at
the two yards and I'm like, all right, how much
extra time is there? What do we got here to
finish the first half? No, just kidding, but but just chaos, right,
trying to get cute. Bad things can and do happen.

Thirt team plays a hundred fifty yards just under seven
minutes for those first Then they kicked the short twenty
yard field goal, and you're You've got everything rolling right.
You think it's fourteen to three Utah pointage. You've got
the opportunity, after a long protracted drive, defenses on the

field to go for a knockout blow you kick the
twenty yard field goal. Fine, you taught. Then fumbles, you
get the ball back, you go four plays two yards
and from the thirty seven, you go for it on
fourth and eight and don't get it. Instead of playing
field position, I know, I know that's that's out there
these days, but you know, we once upon a time

had those where it's just you know, find your angle
and get it inside the twenty and if you were
inside the ten. I actually scored a fantasy league like
that once upon a time, given the punter or some
love fantasy, Big A Nerve. Yeah, that's right, that's how
big A Nerve put their fantasy Look at you, man,
that's that's that's next off in corner kicks and all
that stuff. Yeah. I knew there were people, but come on,

fantasy punters. It's amazing that didn't take off. I really
can't believe you're not sitting here. Like Jeff Bezos, I
did the first podcast look at the first off it was,
and it was an addition that we ran simulations to
see how well it would track. Who's if you're gonna
back when I was working at Yahoo, because you were

trying to include everything that was in the game that
was part of the the path. And now nobody wants
tight ends to have their own positors to be part

said Gram's name. You talked about to start talking. You've
talked about your punning fantasy league. You talked about the game,
and you brought it back to the Gram. We also

This was my long goodbye to Jacob deGrom Right. De
gram signs with the Texas Rangers. Big deal. Uh. He
signs about an hour or so ago. Uh, so much
for well, you know, we don't know where we're gonna go. No,
no, no no, He decides, I want to go to the

Texas Rangers. I want to go finish my career in obscurity.
A five year deal. Hundred and eighty five million dollars
depending on what he reaches. Just two hundred and twenty
million dollars, okay, number one. The Mets. I'm glad they
didn't get on the hook for this contract because as
much as I love to grow him, he's gonna be
thirty five years old. He can't stay healthy, and I

don't know how much he wanted to stay to begin with.
So when you can't count on a guy and you
just won a hundred games, when the guy was a ghost, right,
he had eleven starts, didn't feel like he was part
of the team, they need him. At the end of
the season, he was just okay. The Mets looked at
that and said, yeah, okay, we we would go for
a couple two or three years for him, But the Rangers,
you want to go give him five years because you're
(09:29):
that starved for talent. Yeah, go ahead, keep spending all
that money, like the Rangers have done the past couple
of as seasons. I am, okay, you can't give to
grab that money. It's a it's a bad investment because
how long until he gets hurt? Because that's what it
is with him, he can't stay on the field. But
this was what I told you from the in the
middle of the summer. I'm not shocked at this. I'm
(09:50):
not surprised because I told you he wants to leave.
He wants to leave. He was mad about the contract
he signed a couple of years ago with his old
age who became the GM and Brody van Wagen, and
all he has said all season long was I'm opting
out at the end of the season. Anything changing that, No, okay,
And I get that because he knew he could get
a lot of money because he still Jacob de Gram
(10:10):
and some would give him money. So I get that.
But just like with Aaron Judge and the Yankees, there's
been no I really want to stay. There's been no
public Hey, I really want to work it out and stay.
Free agency is free agency, but I really like it
here and I want to stay. There's been none of that.
The only thing we've gotten is from some of his
teammates who said, I talked to Jake and he said,

if the money is the same, I would like to stay.
That's a lot different from de gram telling telling the public.
I want to stay. I want to be a Met.
I hope it works out. We're gonna do everything we can.
Does this sound like it was everything we can to
stay from both sides. I'm sure to Grab called said hey,
this is what the Range are giving me. The Met
said good luck, and to Grab said okay, see you later,

and that was it. He wanted to leave. This happened
very early in free agency. He signed with the Rangers
right away. What other teams were out there? Where the
teams could he have and talking to that he got
a no from or knowing the word could assign him.
This happened very quickly. He has never been public about
staying happening. He wanted to go. So I'm glad the
Mets are getting credit for Hey, you know this is

a this is a contract that you really can't get
involved in. But I don't know how much they were
really in it. I'm sure the Mets said, look two
or three years at at odd million, we can do that. Oh,
I'm getting five years and it's gonna be up over
two hundred million. Yeah, okay, we're not doing it. But
I don't I don't know how much the Mets are
really in it. That this wasn't a Grob who I
was leaving all along. And this is exactly beginning the
calendar turns in December and always gone. He was always

leaving and that's why it happened the way it did today.
From what passing put out, it's I mean thirty seven
a year for five years. This is a guy that's
made what thirty eight starts in the last three seasons
now when he's available, right, justin had to point out
the Lakers win again tonight, Anthony Davis is still playing
and that gives you a chance. Right. So same thing
with Grom. When he's able to pitch and available to pitch,

you know you're getting a great five six, what seven
innings whatever whatever that start is going to bring you.
But availability is huge when you're talking about that kind
of money. Our buddy John palm Rossi, talking about it
on his Twitter account, immediately started going through all the
numbers and the recent history of Carlos Rodan, going all right,
which do you want? I man, this guy's four years younger,

all these other things, so I can't wait to see
how much did they break the bank for when it's
all said and done. But to your point, we've talked
about it all year long between Atlanta and Texas. Was
always out there because money and their willingness to to
spend it in free agency. Do they spend it? Well now,
not necessarily, but they spend it. And here was an opportunity,
(12:41):
right the old UH saved the States sales tax going
from New York and that that upper region're getting back.
So this is actually a much bigger raise when you
come down to that, which means, hey, Mets, you would
have had to overpay me to match this right in
terms of a dollar or since not all dollars created
(13:02):
equal in this regard. But if there wasn't, he wasn't
feeling the love. I mean, how much you try to
push it off on the team. I don't know that
that works as well as it did maybe ten years ago.
I don't know. We're doing everything we can to try
to get something done, and you know, it's been a
great run. You know, No, it's their fault, hey, Jason,

at you wait to make it happen. I can't wait
to play, and we just got to clean it up.
But I know you were upset, so there's a lot

this and and Aaron Rodgers in this too, because if
you're Green Bay, aren't you sort of looking at this?
And if you're Aaron Rodgers going yeah, I really can't
wait to put this thing back together. Let me um,
let me be the guy who jumps to Sandrancis, go
as fast as they can. Well, one thing that's gonna

wind up being off limits is Look, you talked about
the a f C East and he's not. Both Rogers
and Brady, you're gonna sit there and go Mike White
is going to run that division for the next seven years.

Williams was hurt in the second half. USC. They played
well in the first half, was on the board. Maybe
we take a two lost USC team because Caleb Williams

Who has to tell them that to Ohio you're talking
about the most. You know they're unhappy to begin with there.
They could probably get in this when they'll beat Michigan

House day at this point, because you're changing the president.
They have never allowed in a two loss team. I
don't think it's good time either. We could see a
battle of top twenty five teams tomorrow, UCF and tu

i'd throw it out there, Sanders to Colorado. What does

up getting a bigger gig someplace else. I really want.
When this happened, I said, Okay, this is Colorado being used,

but he's gonna wind up someplace bigger. I'm really surprised
that turn's gonna turn out to be Colorado, I guess.
But like I'm still into the camp of why do
you want that sec gig? I mean what you want
to beat your head against that wall and go eight
and four every year even though you're really good and
don't win anything, and you can be awesome and still
not you know, and still get truck by an Alabama

or you beat Alabama and then next week, all of
a sudden, Tennessee tags you. I mean Colorado. It's a
good fit. It's it's got it's the best of all
possible worlds in allot ways. The pressure is relatively off.
He could do. He can make that program his It

be a national championship power. As Bill McCartney once said,
if you show me a kid that's interested in going
to Nebraska, I'll say, hey, look at Lincoln, Nebraska. Please,
then let me bring you to Boulder, Colorado, and let

And he's closes up to Denver. I mean it's still
you know what a driver and three wood away from
a major metropolitan city where it does have a major

media market aspect to it. So I think there's a
whole lot of things here that really make Colorado an
attractive pick for for Dion, which is why you came
dangerously close to starting your analysis with let's ride. He's
beides by four of my favorite players ever, so I
just again, if he was at Wisconsin, I would be

total fanboying out right now. How surprised are you that
that he's done this this fast? A little bit, you know,
because I thought he'd be okay, But you know, he's
got all the other side things happening. He's got all
the all the other stuff he does. He is a celebrity.
Sometimes the guys don't necessarily want to put in the work,
and sometimes he can't teach what you can do because

if you're just that good, you can't really teach it
to anybody else. But he's been great. I mean, it
starts with being able to recruit. It's again, it's the
energy that he brought to Jackson State. Uh. And again
his teams have been very well coached so far. And
if yeah, let's see what he can do with the
buff in either of those other playoffs scenarios. I think

just because we have to check all the boxes, any
snowball's chance in the inhale that either that Michigan somehow
gets up ended. My producer, Yeah, they doesn't matter. Yeah
they could they they could lose. And that's that's the
only real drama here. And to go back to your
teeth new thing before, I'm getting really obscure here, but

I think it was two thousand flare. Kansas State came
in and rolled Oklahoma, number one ranked Oklahoma and they
got just rocked. I think it was like thirty five seven,
and it's like, oh my gosh, you can't put in
Oklahoma now. They just got destroyed in the conference championship game.
And what were they They They were number one in the BCS.
The next week in USC got left out even though
it lost to Aaron Rodgers by you know four or

something like that. It was really close. So if there
is precedent for losing a big game like that and
still being undefeated and getting in, I think TCUs find
no matter what to your question about Michigan and Georgia,
the drama here is going to be the College Football
Committee is really really is sincere. They really want the
four best teams. There are no ulterior motives with them.

With that said, they would love to put Georgia in
the Peach Bowl because they would love to fill the
stands and have those optics in Atlanta. Now, if Michigan wins,
and do you wins and Michigan goes to one THIEFU
goes to what do you do? You can't really put
Georgia in the Peach Bowl and say hey, Tifu, Hey,
we're giving you the credit being the two seed in

Atlanta against Georgia. So that's a little bit of drama there,
I mean. But other than that, Look, Michigan could Michigan
could lose to Purdue. I mean they could. It should
be like Georgia Alabama last year, where you know that
they won already, they got the win over Ohiuse State.
They're in no matter what, you know, you lose Cora,
you know, the Mazzie Smith stuff happening, and you're just

kind of try they're gonna care, but maybe they just
don't have the A game and you know, produce thinking
hey we got the Rose Bowl here if we win this.
So I wouldn't be totally stunned. To produce. I don't
think it's gonna happen, but I wouldn't be totally stunned
to Purdue wins. It doesn't matter. Michigan's going to the
Festa Bowl, not pretty much. No matter what. You can

My prediction of Utah pulling the upset is alive and
what but how much fun is it that the PAC

twelve championship game looks like a legitimate game, right, Like,
it looks like a conference champion. People are at the game,
it's on Big Fox. This is not those random Friday
nights of years past where four thousand people at Levi
Stadium watching Oregon and Washington State. I mean, this looks
like it's a legitimate game. This is like, hey, yeah,
(01:52):
we got playoff implications, we have a star team in US. Okay,
the PAC twelve title game is legit. I'm I'm kind
of digging that right now. It's an easy drive to
Las Vegas or a one hour flight from Los Angeles. Yeah,
all of those things factor in USC is relevant again
for the first time I guess since Sam Donald. If
(02:14):
we go there and then before that, I was all
the pregame stuff, Let's see more of Reggie Bush, you
know that kind of thing. So yeah, all of those
things piled together and converge to make what has been
a fantastic first half with uh pageantry and the crowd
shots are fantastic because you're like, patron, Patron, that guy
(02:36):
was beer, that guy like and you're and you're just
picking out probably getting cut off at their next run
to the concession stand. Uh uh, So it is. It's
a fun game. It looked for a while like USC
was gonna roll away, and I really, I really thought
the game was gonna be the opposite. It was Utah
that was gonna get out big, and what USC has
(02:58):
done all year long is realty tames. In second quarter,
third quarter, Caleb Williams gets going and USC winds up
rolling through everybody. But it's the exact opposite. USC looked
like they were gonna blow the doors off of Utah,
and Utah withstands their offense early, even though Caleb Williams
had his Highsmid moment with that big video game run
that's set up a touchdown earlier in the first half,
(03:20):
and now the game is kind of settled a little bit.
And this is bad news for USC because USC relies
on that tidal wave of momentum with their offense continuing
to roll that team out there, because all they gotta
do is get a stop once in a while, because
this defense is awful. What they were lying is, Hey,
the offense gets going, we got a three in out,
another touchdowns on the board. Now maybe we allow a
(03:42):
touchdown then, but our offense scores a touchdown, we get
another three in out. All they need is a couple
of three in outs with the game being out of
control and the other team can't catch up. But this
game has settled down at halftime. Now Utah has forced
u C USC into making mistakes. This is not where
USC wanted to be and wants to be at halftime
momentum wise, they wanted to be. Hey, this is the
(04:04):
exact opposite. They wanted to be the team scoring two
touchdowns of the second quarter, getting Utah thinking as they
go into the break. Now Utah's got USC thinking and hey,
we gotta really step it up again here in the
second half. This is this is not quite the formula
USC has been used to so far. So if I
look at this game, even though it's tied at halftime,
big time advantage to Utah. Yeahs. And you just watched
(04:25):
the momentum swing whether you believe in it or not.
Let you watch the flow of the game. And i
gotta say I've watched so much foodball slash soccer. I'm like, wow,
after that kickoff when he got went down in at
the two yards and I'm like, all right, how much
extra time is there? What do we got here to
finish the first half? No, just kidding, but but just chaos, right,
trying to get cute. Bad things can and do happen.

Thirt team plays a hundred fifty yards just under seven
minutes for those first Then they kicked the short twenty
yard field goal, and you're You've got everything rolling right.
You think it's fourteen to three Utah pointage. You've got
the opportunity, after a long protracted drive, defenses on the

field to go for a knockout blow you kick the
twenty yard field goal. Fine, you taught. Then fumbles, you
get the ball back, you go four plays two yards
and from the thirty seven, you go for it on
fourth and eight and don't get it. Instead of playing
field position, I know, I know that's that's out there
these days, but you know, we once upon a time

had those where it's just you know, find your angle
and get it inside the twenty and if you were
inside the ten. I actually scored a fantasy league like
that once upon a time, given the punter or some
love fantasy, Big A Nerve. Yeah, that's right, that's how
big A Nerve put their fantasy Look at you, man,
that's that's that's next off in corner kicks and all
that stuff. Yeah. I knew there were people, but come on,

fantasy punters. It's amazing that didn't take off. I really

talked about your punning fantasy league. You talked about the game,

This was my long goodbye to Jacob deGrom Right. De
gram signs with the Texas Rangers. Big deal. Uh. He
signs about an hour or so ago. Uh, so much
for well, you know, we don't know where we're gonna go. No,
no, no no, He decides, I want to go to the

Texas Rangers. I want to go finish my career in obscurity.
A five year deal. Hundred and eighty five million dollars
depending on what he reaches. Just two hundred and twenty
million dollars, okay, number one. The Mets. I'm glad they
didn't get on the hook for this contract because as
much as I love to grow him, he's gonna be
thirty five years old. He can't stay healthy, and I
(09:08):
don't know how much he wanted to stay to begin with.
So when you can't count on a guy and you
just won a hundred games, when the guy was a ghost, right,
he had eleven starts, didn't feel like he was part
of the team, they need him. At the end of
the season, he was just okay. The Mets looked at
that and said, yeah, okay, we we would go for
a couple two or three years for him, But the Rangers,
you want to go give him five years because you're
(09:29):
that starved for talent. Yeah, go ahead, keep spending all
that money, like the Rangers have done the past couple
of as seasons. I am, okay, you can't give to
grab that money. It's a it's a bad investment because
how long until he gets hurt? Because that's what it
is with him, he can't stay on the field. But
this was what I told you from the in the
middle of the summer. I'm not shocked at this. I'm
(09:50):
not surprised because I told you he wants to leave.
He wants to leave. He was mad about the contract
he signed a couple of years ago with his old
age who became the GM and Brody van Wagen, and
all he has said all season long was I'm opting
out at the end of the season. Anything changing that, No, okay,
And I get that because he knew he could get
a lot of money because he still Jacob de Gram
(10:10):
and some would give him money. So I get that.
But just like with Aaron Judge and the Yankees, there's
been no I really want to stay. There's been no
public Hey, I really want to work it out and stay.
Free agency is free agency, but I really like it
here and I want to stay. There's been none of that.
The only thing we've gotten is from some of his
teammates who said, I talked to Jake and he said,

if the money is the same, I would like to stay.
That's a lot different from de gram telling telling the public.
I want to stay. I want to be a Met.
I hope it works out. We're gonna do everything we can.
Does this sound like it was everything we can to
stay from both sides. I'm sure to Grab called said hey,
this is what the Range are giving me. The Met
said good luck, and to Grab said okay, see you later,

and that was it. He wanted to leave. This happened
very early in free agency. He signed with the Rangers
right away. What other teams were out there? Where the
teams could he have and talking to that he got
a no from or knowing the word could assign him.
This happened very quickly. He has never been public about
staying happening. He wanted to go. So I'm glad the
Mets are getting credit for Hey, you know this is

a this is a contract that you really can't get
involved in. But I don't know how much they were
really in it. I'm sure the Mets said, look two
or three years at at odd million, we can do that. Oh,
I'm getting five years and it's gonna be up over
two hundred million. Yeah, okay, we're not doing it. But
I don't I don't know how much the Mets are
really in it. That this wasn't a Grob who I
was leaving all along. And this is exactly beginning the
calendar turns in December and always gone. He was always

leaving and that's why it happened the way it did today.
From what passing put out, it's I mean thirty seven
a year for five years. This is a guy that's
made what thirty eight starts in the last three seasons
now when he's available, right, justin had to point out
the Lakers win again tonight, Anthony Davis is still playing
and that gives you a chance. Right. So same thing
with Grom. When he's able to pitch and available to pitch,

you know you're getting a great five six, what seven
innings whatever whatever that start is going to bring you.
But availability is huge when you're talking about that kind
of money. Our buddy John palm Rossi, talking about it
on his Twitter account, immediately started going through all the
numbers and the recent history of Carlos Rodan, going all right,
which do you want? I man, this guy's four years younger,

all these other things, so I can't wait to see
how much did they break the bank for when it's
all said and done. But to your point, we've talked
about it all year long between Atlanta and Texas. Was
always out there because money and their willingness to to
spend it in free agency. Do they spend it? Well now,
not necessarily, but they spend it. And here was an opportunity,

right the old UH saved the States sales tax going
from New York and that that upper region're getting back.
So this is actually a much bigger raise when you
come down to that, which means, hey, Mets, you would
have had to overpay me to match this right in
terms of a dollar or since not all dollars created
(13:02):
equal in this regard. But if there wasn't, he wasn't
feeling the love. I mean, how much you try to
push it off on the team. I don't know that
that works as well as it did maybe ten years ago.
I don't know. We're doing everything we can to try
to get something done, and you know, it's been a
great run. You know, No, it's their fault, hey, Jason,

at you wait to make it happen. I can't wait
to play, and we just got to clean it up.

because now you're talking about Perdue in North Carolina and
Clemson and Kansas State, all with a puncher's chance to
not only get in but have a buy. And no,
we we got this at this point. We know where

in the history of the Cotton did not win a
college football playoff championship. They have put in one lost

some kind of chaos. Let's what about this. Hey, Caleb
Williams was hurt in the second half. USC. They played
well in the first half, was on the board. Maybe
we take a two lost USC team because Caleb Williams

the nice person has to be, who gets put out there?
Who has to tell them that to Ohio you're talking
about the most. You know they're unhappy to begin with there.
They could probably get in this when they'll beat Michigan
seventy five and nothing in the National Championship, when the

in it that that would be a rough one. But no,
I mean, who knows what they're thinking. Again, I don't

usc it had a great year. You know that they

They had their own slew of injuries, which should change
a little bit, assuming that, you know, some of these
guys will be back with a month off. I just,
I just I would be shocked if it's not a
House day at this point, because you're changing the president.
They have never allowed in a two loss team. I
don't think it's good time either. We could see a
battle of top twenty five teams tomorrow, UCF and tu

Lane for as low as seven dollars. I just thought
i'd throw it out there, Sanders to Colorado. What does
it mean? I'm jealous as a Wisconsin grad? All right, fine,
Luke Fickle, Great, Yeah, I suppose it's all right. I
wanted Dion. I mean, that's that's that's thinking of It's
not even thinking outside the box. It's just changing your

bit of a failure of imagination. They're all good coaches,

If I'm a Colorado O fan, I'm like, Okay, let's

small Jackson State. Look at what he does. I thought
he was primed to take that sec type jump where
suddenly I'm getting a job with on things. I'm talking
with Brian Kelly about stuff like I didn't think he'd
have to make a stop at Colorado before he wound
up getting a bigger gig someplace else. I really want.
When this happened, I said, Okay, this is Colorado being used,

but he's gonna wind up someplace bigger. I'm really surprised
that turn's gonna turn out to be Colorado, I guess.
But like I'm still into the camp of why do
you want that sec gig? I mean what you want
to beat your head against that wall and go eight
and four every year even though you're really good and
don't win anything, and you can be awesome and still
not you know, and still get truck by an Alabama

or you beat Alabama and then next week, all of
a sudden, Tennessee tags you. I mean Colorado. It's a
good fit. It's it's got it's the best of all
possible worlds in allot ways. The pressure is relatively off.
He could do. He can make that program his It
does have a history all be it. You know that
a couple of decades ago now of being able to

be a national championship power. As Bill McCartney once said,
if you show me a kid that's interested in going
to Nebraska, I'll say, hey, look at Lincoln, Nebraska. Please,
then let me bring you to Boulder, Colorado, and let
me show you that. And I'll get him every time. Uh.
And he's closes up to Denver. I mean it's still
you know what a driver and three wood away from
a major metropolitan city where it does have a major

media market aspect to it. So I think there's a
whole lot of things here that really make Colorado an
attractive pick for for Dion, which is why you came
dangerously close to starting your analysis with let's ride. He's
beides by four of my favorite players ever, so I
just again, if he was at Wisconsin, I would be
(38:08):
total fanboying out right now. How surprised are you that
that he's done this this fast? A little bit, you know,
because I thought he'd be okay, But you know, he's
got all the other side things happening. He's got all
the all the other stuff he does. He is a celebrity.
Sometimes the guys don't necessarily want to put in the work,
and sometimes he can't teach what you can do because
(38:29):
if you're just that good, you can't really teach it
to anybody else. But he's been great. I mean, it
starts with being able to recruit. It's again, it's the
energy that he brought to Jackson State. Uh. And again
his teams have been very well coached so far. And
if yeah, let's see what he can do with the
buff in either of those other playoffs scenarios. I think

just because we have to check all the boxes, any
snowball's chance in the inhale that either that Michigan somehow
gets up ended. My producer, Yeah, they doesn't matter. Yeah
they could they they could lose. And that's that's the
only real drama here. And to go back to your
teeth new thing before, I'm getting really obscure here, but
(39:11):
I think it was two thousand flare. Kansas State came
in and rolled Oklahoma, number one ranked Oklahoma and they
got just rocked. I think it was like thirty five seven,
and it's like, oh my gosh, you can't put in
Oklahoma now. They just got destroyed in the conference championship game.
And what were they They They were number one in the BCS.
The next week in USC got left out even though
it lost to Aaron Rodgers by you know four or
(39:34):
something like that. It was really close. So if there
is precedent for losing a big game like that and
still being undefeated and getting in, I think TCUs find
no matter what to your question about Michigan and Georgia,
the drama here is going to be the College Football
Committee is really really is sincere. They really want the
four best teams. There are no ulterior motives with them.
(39:57):
With that said, they would love to put Georgia in
the Peach Bowl because they would love to fill the
stands and have those optics in Atlanta. Now, if Michigan wins,
and do you wins and Michigan goes to one THIEFU
goes to what do you do? You can't really put
Georgia in the Peach Bowl and say hey, Tifu, Hey,
we're giving you the credit being the two seed in
(40:17):
Atlanta against Georgia. So that's a little bit of drama there,
I mean. But other than that, Look, Michigan could Michigan
could lose to Purdue. I mean they could. It should
be like Georgia Alabama last year, where you know that
they won already, they got the win over Ohiuse State.
They're in no matter what, you know, you lose Cora,
you know, the Mazzie Smith stuff happening, and you're just

kind of try they're gonna care, but maybe they just
don't have the A game and you know, produce thinking
hey we got the Rose Bowl here if we win this.
So I wouldn't be totally stunned. To produce. I don't
think it's gonna happen, but I wouldn't be totally stunned
to Purdue wins. It doesn't matter. Michigan's going to the
Festa Bowl, not pretty much. No matter what. You can
