(00:23):
You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. Greetings and welcome inside.
Happy Thursday, The Jason Smith Show with my best friend
Mike Harmon, live from the tire iraq dot com studios
were broadcasting live from here as we are every night.
Tire rac dot com will help you get there and
unmatched selection, fast, free shipping, free road hazard protection, and

(00:47):
over ten thousand recommended installers. Ti irac dot com the
way tire buying should be well right now. The Seahawks
just had a stay of execution down twenty one three
in the third quarter. Gino Smith just throws. As I
am speaking to you and telling you about iraq dot com,

(01:09):
Gino Smith just throws a pick six. However, Nick Bosa
is flagged for roughing the quarterback. UM, I guess they're
gonna call him like slamming him into the ground because
he hit him on the side with his shoulder pads.
It didn't look like it was that big a deal,
but he stayed with the sack all the way through.
And this is gonna be another one where it's what

(01:31):
do you expect to do? What do you expected? Do
you know? Maybe because at the very end it looked
like Gino Smith went down hard, but it didn't look
like it was anything else other than Bosa sacking him
and bringing to the ground because he doesn't know if
he threw the football or not. So that's gonna be
one where the Niners go, hey, can you take an
NFL can take a look at this please? And again

(01:53):
we get to the part of the quarterbacks and they
take care of them and the defensive players and all
this time we had we had the ground running tonight
in Mike Carmen. That was authetic, I mean, not not
as pathetic as the coverage on George Kittle on the
touchdown pass that made in three right before we came
on air. The busted coverage followed by three guys who
had no desire to try to tackle George Kittle. Look,

(02:15):
I got a hand on him. Oh he was too
fast and he got past me. You want to talk
about a team that, after getting bludgeoned by the Panthers,
look like they've quit Seattle at home? Pathetic and no
more Gene Gene, Yeah, poor Gino. Yeah. Look, this could
be the night where where where where t j h

(02:35):
the clock striking midnight for Geno Smith and the Seahawks
as they are just getting absolutely pounded by the Forts.
But look, I hate to say I told you so,
But what did I tell you five weeks ago? By
the end of the season, the Niners are gonna be
the best team in the NFC on a big streng

(02:56):
This this is back when Jimmy stunk and and and
and Jimmy was hurting. He's so and I say knowing
he I say this knowing he fully well was gonna
be the Jets starting quarterback next season. Jimmy stunk it.
They were trying to figure things out and they were
getting by with their defense. You just need to give

(03:17):
it time to gell And who knew putting Brock Purdy
and was gonna make things jelling. Here go the Niners
telling you by the time you get to the the end
of year, it's gonna be Boy, can anybody stop the Niners?
I mean, I know, I told you the Eagles We're
going to the Super Bowl and Jalen Hurt he's gonna
be the m v P. And that's my prediction. I
told you that didn't do this by the end of
the year because I'm just who knows? Who knows? Okay,
are you gonna go home? Okay? All right? Then well wait, wait,

(03:40):
that would just lead me with tie shirt. Who's gonna
talk about how Morocco you don't even have he's just
hanging out and oh man, yeah, because he got fired,
he's going to talk about all sorts of rivalry games
and stuff. Again, dude, Morocco had it. Morocco had nothing.
They hadn't they were there the whole time up but yeah,

(04:00):
exactly there. Yeah they had no game, that's all, yeah, ship,
but they just they had it. They did they did.
Did you watch the game? Absolutely not sleep you know that.

(04:21):
So now it's either gonna be winning our big World Cup.
Pool is either gonna be Frostburg because he's got Argentina,
or who has France? Dan Buyer. That would be Steve
guaranteed to finish second unless something happens where they play
so much soccer that everbody passes out and they can't

(04:42):
kick the ball anymore. So, Jason, this sounds lined up.
If I would have won with motro Occo, I would
have won the whole thing. But since they lost, now
I have guaranteed myself second place. So basically it's Steve
versus Justin for first, the other one gets third. Nobody
is ever going to do any pool we do again,
because everybody who's gonna win money is on our show, right,

(05:03):
It's it's gonna be you and Frostsburg and the singer
are gonna be the people gave it. Everybody else who
got in on this Jonas and said, Rob Parker and everybody,
they're all out, dan By, everybody's out, no one else.
When he picks up the three people on this show,
and who picked the teams? I did? I picked the
teams out of that no one contributed. Was a giant
hat never gonna happen. That's never gonna happen. It's not

(05:26):
gonna happen again. So yeah, well we'll get it because
you tie ship. Really, he has the airing of the
grievances on Morocco's got nothing. They gave up a goal
within five minutes and then surmounted no real attack, took
the air out of the ball, and that was the
end of the game. What he got, Frostberg. You know
what else isn't gonna happen? What isn't gonna happen? Saw

(05:46):
the night? Yeah, that's made even even with those cool
Neon kind of weird looking these jerseys thing going on
against the the turf, which looks kind of gray when
you get the sideline view of it, it kind of
looks like film noir, Like you're doing some cool stuff

(06:09):
with photography. No, you know, okay, okay, film okay, I
I see it like you put a lens on your cap.
You're trying to black and white full No, I can
see that. But but these I've always hated these. I've
hated these jerseys so much. You know what they look like.
They look like when you're highlighter changes color because you've
used it so much, You've going over pen so many

(06:30):
times that it doesn't highlight or bright and yellow anymore.
It's kind of that, it's just a it's a dimmer color,
and it's like, boy, it doesn't that's kind of what
that what the what these uniforms. It's not really highlighters,
it's the dim highlighter and Gino Smith doesn't look good
getting sacked in any of the uniforms he could be wearing.
See that time, Bosa did a good job and trying
to keep his balance and not land on him. So

(06:52):
there's no penalty because he kind of did a leap
frog kind of moment for it. Ridiculous, but let's let's
let's get into this game. Here for a couple of
minutes to Jason Smiths with Mike Carmen live from the
tire Act dot com studios. It is the Fox Sports
Radio tail gapers out of by the Big Green Egg.
Nothing beats the flavor of live fire cooking on a
Big Green Egg. It's the most versatile grill you level owned,

(07:14):
backed by a lifetime warranty roll with the best chop
online for free delivery at Big green egg dot com.
Lifetime warranty, free home delivery Big green egg dot com. Um.
Now again, there's many things I could say. I told
you so about it, told you about the Eagles winning
the NFC. Uh Jalen Hurts m v P. The Niners
will be the best team in the NFC by the

(07:35):
end of the year, and now everybody's coming around to
my brock Purdy is gonna start the NFC championship game,
and then it's gonna be Hey, Brock Purdy and and
Trey Lance battling it out in San Francisco for the
starting quarterback job next offseason. I don't see there being
anyway at this point. Mike how Purdy has not played
himself into conversation for being their full time starter, right

(07:57):
he is, he is coming. Yes, we we have a
very small ample of him. I get that samples and
defense that we knew coming in wasn't good. And you're
you're you're you're correct, You're you're correct. There they had
been playing a little bit better of of late, but
but still they were starting to get rolled on running
the football. But this is this is party. Now in
his third game he's got he's gonna have at least

(08:19):
two touchdowns, and each of his first three starts he's
completing over seventy of his passes. The guy is accurate.
He is not afraid to make any throws. He has
stepped in and and been even a more effective Mike
White where he's come in with his attitude and his Hey,
it's it's a new day for us, and I'm finding
the playmakers and I'm getting them the football. And we

(08:41):
don't have Deebo Samuel doesn't matter. Hey, welcome back, George Kittle.
Welcome back to all kinds of fantasy and NFL relevance.
He's just out there making plays, making throws off his
back foot when he has to. He's not afraid of anything.
This is a guy coming in. He is just letting
it loose right now, and it's gonna be too hard
when you get to the end of the season. Going Okay,
he's to have a couple more games like this, it's

(09:02):
what do we do. We gotta give Purdy a chance
to win the job. But we drafted Tray Lance. That's
we're gonna do. We're gonna put him out. It's gonna
be pretty versus Lance in the summer next year because
the Niners will have no guts to trade one of them.
They're too afraid to do it. They didn't want to
get rid of Jimmy Garoppolo. That Tray Lance on a
rookie contract now for seven years. They just keep extending.
We're gonna keep Jimmy Garoppolo. They'll be too afraid to

(09:22):
do anything. They'll let Jimmy go. And now Jimmy's gonna
have to go because he's hurt and he missed the season.
But you gotta give Brock Purdy a chance to be
your starting quarterback now and be your quarterback of the
present and future because he's been this good. He has been. Ah,
he's jump started the offense. All the weapons are clicking.
It's not just McCaffrey. What he has done coming in
here with no reps has been nothing short of amazing. Man.

(09:45):
I am all in on Brock Purdie. Yeah, last week
was um I I couldn't have expected. I mean, even
with the travel and all of the things that go
into the scheduling for the Buccaneers, that was a no
show effort from Todd Bowles. Uh and he tried to
pass the buck as he's wont to do so. Uh.
Look in the mirror every now and again and recognize
how much your defensive unit failed in what was a

(10:09):
pretty good test and an opportunity against the first time starter.
Fail F for you and probably some more f's uttered
in the Greater Tampa area as they watched that one.
I am a little disappointed. I mean, although I'm not
surprised that you did everything you could to shoehorn Mike
White into the conversation. So well, that's kind of what
you Glad you got that day off so you can

(10:32):
you can get that thought into your head. Because I
wanted to make sure people knew when we talked about
new quarterbacks coming in playing great, it's not just Mike White.
There's other guys doing it as well. So I want
to hey, it's not Mike White. I want to make
sure people, Hey, you know, I'm a well rounded host.
You know, we we we get, we get into a
lot of different things. I don't want you to think
that I don't mention Mike. Did you forget about I

(10:54):
didn't get about Mike White? And I heard that Frostburg
Now definitely key in your car. Now, definitely we got
that tap. You know, we we've got that on tape
like nine hundred times. It hasn't happened yet. Uh, just
saying there's a chance. Uh, but yeah, I mean, and
in tonight's game, like they all count and they're all
gonna look like beautiful throws and execution for Brock purty

(11:16):
and everybody's gonna fall over themselves with the the accolades, platitudes, etcetera.
As the shining new star of it all. Um, the
Seahawks twice forgot to cover George Kittle uh for the touchdowns. Again,
he's gotta make the throw, He's got to get it there.
The first one, nice little move uh, and throw across

(11:37):
the middle. Nobody within ten yards of George Kittle as
he rum rambles into the end zone. Uh. And then
on the fifty four yard or will that was? That
was just a joke the rest of his reception six
for thirty for Christian McCaffrey. I UK has two for
nineteen and Jennings has one for eight. So you know,

(11:57):
in terms of lighting it up, you take what the
defense has given you. But he hasn't thrown up on himself.
And that's the bigger thing, right. You had plenty of
opportunity here, uh for teams to scheme, try to get
after it. Seattle missing a little bit of work up front,
and they've been run on consistently. McCaffrey's got fourteen for
sixty two already on the game. But to your point,

(12:21):
with the the NFC title, I used the reference and
you know, I'll show my age and show my love
of reruns on television. And it goes back to the
Johnny Bravo conversation we've had multiple times related to the
San Francisco quarterbacking situation. That's the suit scheme and then
make it a lot. But that's it. But you see

(12:43):
how many quarterbacks kick it out of their own way.
I can't get Most teams don't have to have a
coach that can do this, nor the number of skill
position players, uh that can get this going. So it's
you know, a couple of things that come into play here. Um.
You know, we were talking about a little bit buyer
in for you last night in terms of the celebration,

(13:04):
kind of the coaching schemes and everything else, and people
were quick to point out the record. It's like, yes,
obviously wins losses me and everything in. Jimmy Garoppolo has
just a ridiculous win loss ratio with Kyle Shanahan, the
other guys have all had their flash game or two
or three before things went awry. Even in losses, they showed,

(13:26):
all right, the scheme can work. And so that's the
point here with Purty and what remains to be seeing
how the season plays out. But if you could have
two quarterbacks, assuming Lance progresses in his injury comeback, two
quarterbacks on rookie deals, I mean you've you've won the
lottery if you're a front office Brock Purty quarterback of

(13:46):
the present, quarterback of the future, quarterback at the edge.
Unless Tom Brady comes in and kicks his ass. He's
a new Tom Brady, doesn't matter, he's a new toy. Really,
you're doing this. You hated Mac Jones when anybody said that.
This with Brock Purdie just because his name is Brock
Purdie sounds like what we're hanging out in boogie Nights.
Wait till the burmanisms come out for Purdy and Kittle tonight.

(14:07):
I already got all right now wait do you hear?
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the I Heart
Radio app. We'll get to be late in the third quarter. Now.
San Francisco still leads Seattle twenty one to six. About

(14:28):
a buck twenty four left to go Seahawks with the
football second and six deep in their own territory. Will
keep you updated on this throughout the rest of the night,
of course, is t n F. He We could wind
up seeing San Francisco drinking champagne after this game. Yeah,
they're showing some great urgency, are the Seahawks. Yes, that's
sarcasm dripping from my mouth. Yeah. Yeah, the balloon is

(14:51):
about to pop on Gino Smith. It's like a little
and they did all the pregame interviews and everything else. Oh,
I know, I know, im in earlier. You don't want
to weeks three weeks ago when they were still winning
instead of what's happening to that? About three weeks starts
sing to Greth Brooks Classic. It's mid Nights Inderella. But

(15:12):
while this is happening, crazy money still being given out
in Major League Baseball. The Yankees finally make another move.
They look, they re signed Aaron Judge and now they
get Mike Harmon's former favorite player. Carlos Rodon joins the
Yankees six years and a hundred and sixty two million.

(15:33):
He had a great year for San Francisco last year,
four eight and e r a under three career high
end innings, second straight All Star selection. This is a
big signing by the Yankees. But I'll go a step further.
They had to have him and Carlos Rodon had the
Yankees over a barrel because the Yankees were looking at
at a at an off season where it's okay, well,

(15:56):
we were spending three sixty million on Aaron Judge. Okay,
so how we better We're not we're bringing back the
stings we had last year and we spent three hundred
and sixty million dollars. So they almost had to go
out and get Carlos road On. Now maybe they still
have something work uh worthwhile. Maybe it's a Dansby Swanson
type move because now he moves up to being the
best position player left in this situation. But like the

(16:19):
Yankees had to have him, Like they couldn't sit back
and say, are we really not gonna pay We're really
gonna pay sixty million dollars to stay the same team
we are? They had to go out and get him.
They had to overpay, and Carlo Trodana is going, man boy.
We were able to play the Yankees pretty well on
that one because the Yankees had no choice because to
come out of this watching that especially watching the Mets.
Sit here and just keep spending. They signed more norvaiasay

(16:41):
game and ten million dollars they got like eleven catchers.
Now it doesn't matter. They didn't watch the Mets. Just
keep spending and spending. The Yankees had to say, don't
forget about us. We're still here. We're spending one anyway. Wait,
please please write about us in the back page of
the New York Posts like you're write about the Mets.
Remember we used to spend money like this. The Yankees
had no choice. Congratulations of Carlos or Don because he's
the guy saying, all right, man, I waited out and

(17:03):
I went up getting way more money than it whatever
from anybody else. As I often do, I turn my
attention to the thirty plus years of history and the
Simpsons for the example that I make here Brian Cashman,
who re upped with the Yankees a couple of weeks ago.
In this particular situation, remember the gang Land War, that

(17:24):
Homer and the family are looking out their windows and
watching you know, fet Tony and his gang all sort
of other guys, and then there's one guy that's just
standing there, and Homer goes, I don't know what he's
gonna do, but he's gonna do something. And they go away,
and all of a sudden you hear the scream and
all of a sudden and and like you know that

(17:45):
he's going gone Proserk, I told you he was gonna
do something. Uh, Cashman, was that guy waiting around? Why
why do we give you an extent? You're gonna do something, right, Okay?
A hundred six and two million, And look I see
the handwringing immediately. And Rhodan's a guy with injury history,
there's no question about it. Only what once in his career,

(18:05):
just this past year, is he eclipse thirty starts in
a season? Only twice has he gone over twenty five
starts at a season. He had twenty four uh in
one with the socks and then go back to when
he had twenty eight. Otherwise, you got a bunch of
injury plague seasons last two years two three seventy r

(18:27):
A to eight eight a year ago twenty seven and
thirteen uh and and given you a war above A
five in both of those seasons. We've talked about it
a lot. You don't have to like the contracts, but
recognize where you're at. And for the Yankees, Yeah, is
Aaron Judge going to duplicate what he did in last Yeah?
I don't know. I've got my I'll linch up in
my seat. And then come opening day, right, is he

(18:50):
gonna stay healthy? Is standing gonna stay healthy the guys
that you're banking on, or is he gonna have to
be the one man gang again right where there's large
stretches and he's the only guy really producing any thing.
So let's move them out of the leadoff position. Let's
move them down to sec at a third or what
I like. And you've got to play that yo yo
kind of thing. Uh. And it'll be interesting to watch
because with the Mets and competing for the back page.

(19:13):
Not to mention, the Giants have had a pretty good
run this year. We'll see them on Monday Night football, uh,
in that rematch or Sunday night, I should say, in
that rematch against Washington. And then obviously you have the Jets,
uh and the year that they've had up downs but
headlines galore. You know, you're you're fighting for the back

(19:34):
page of the fish wraps in addition to at least
holding and standing pat in your division, which is no
easy task as some of the veterans, young veterans at
that at that mark, you know when you look at
Toronto and such that it's it's gonna be that much
harder a feat to duplicate what you did. So you
go out and you grab another arm. Anytime you can

(19:57):
bring in a south Paw, it's a big victory. And
you know for me, uh, you know, it's conflicting stuff
because you know, the White Sox might have been a
mystery team to bring him back manner Mikey almost got
it done. No, no, that that's gonna know you you
hang the banner and and it's just a question mark

(20:17):
because that did. That's the mystery team batter that we had,
because we're always the mystery team. My little brother was
pretty excited today though, because he uh, maybe two years
ago the White Sox annual garage sale that they do
for charity, right old jerseys, bats, cleats, bobble heads, whatever else,
he had gotten a road on Jersey. So he was
he was happily showing me the picture of it today, going, well,

(20:39):
you know our guy went and got paid good for him.
Twitter and how about a fresco Mike gets swollen down
the Jason Smith Show with my best friend Mike Harmon,
great move by road On. Had the Yankees just they
couldn't do anything but give them money? And they did
it because the Yankees are so desperate. I love the
Yankees desperation. There's I could I could feel this sweat

(21:00):
coming off of cash. But at steinbreders Pors, what do
we do? We have to compete with them, So I'm
sweating so much. We're so desperate. Please come take my buddy.
Oh it's so great. Well, but the other thing is
my man had a record setting, you know, depending on
how you look at it and what you think of
the all time home run single season and whatever else.

(21:21):
But for a Yankee puts up these huge numbers, Let's
see where that that baseball auction is, because it's well
below the three million dollars that the guy was offered outright,
But is he gonna repeat that like that? That's the
other thing. If you're sitting in that front office going
what are we banking on in terms of numbers here?
What are projections? Because if he doesn't come anywhere close

(21:44):
to matching that, guess what it all tanks and creators
around you, but you'll sell tickets and put butts and
seats because he's there right right, unless you won't. Be
sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith Show
with Mike harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern seven pm Pacifick.
I love the war of words that's been going on
between Dallas and Philadelphia. Right, It's been awesome, right, you

(22:07):
got Micah Parsons is ripping Philadelphia, ripping the Eagles. The
Eagles are back. This is this is just awesome, right,
Dallas is feeling it as contenders now, and like, hey, yeah,
you know, yeah we had that that sucky game on
Sunday against the Texas, but we still won. Yeah, ten wins. Yeah,
we're feeling pretty good. Hey, a week from now, we
got that big show down with the Eagles. They are

(22:28):
feeling it. Man, it's a lot of fun. But let
me say this just for a second before Dallas starts
feeling all high and mighty. Look, how great, how great
we are? How great? How great we are. Let's understand
that they need to give thanks and we're past Thanksgiving,
but I understand that they had the biggest blessing in
disguise moment of the season because what they had to

(22:51):
do when it looked like it was all lost and
Dak Prescott is out and he gets hurt the first
week they're blessing in disguise was they had to readjust
us with Dak Prescott hurt. And I'm telling you they
wouldn't be this good if Dac was still playing. Obviously,
you're not rooting for guys to get hurt, but it
happens in the NFL. But what they were able to do,
we talked about it. This is where the Cowboys said, Okay,

(23:13):
Cooper Rush is coming in. We can't ask him to
do the same things as Dak because he's not the
same quarterback. We're gonna lean our running game more. Look,
Tony Pollard has been fantastic, a Zeki Lelliott has been terrific.
And what did they do? They stayed afloat right. They
were able to win, get it and blow teams out,
but their defense made plays. They ran the football really well,
and they learned they could win by being balanced. We

(23:35):
don't we don't have to rely on Dak's right arm
because if if he didn't get hurt, I guarantee you this,
Mike car but I guarantee you. We would have watched
all season long Dak throw the football forty times a
game because they're paying him the money, and it's gonna
be let's DA's just gonna this is how the team is. Now.
We're not gonna go We're not gonna go away from
Dak Prescott and start handing the ball off more. We don't, no, no, no,

(23:58):
Dax's is gonna throw the ball forty times again. And
you know what, the Cowboys would be five d And
this doesn't mean the deck is terrible and that, but
it means you're asking to do more than what he
can do. He's not a guy that is gonna win
passing titles and hey, everybody, get on my back and
I'll carry you through this. He's a guy that can
carry teams once every few weeks, have a big week,
throw in the football terrific, we can win the game.

(24:18):
He had the big drive to win the game, you know,
nine yard drive at the end. Hey, that's what we're
gonna pay you for. Dac don't have to throw three
TVs every week, but moments like that, that's when we
rely on you. But the Cowboys would have been throwing
the football forty and more times a game all season long,
and they'd be around five hundred instead of ten and
three and a big time Super Bowl threat. So this
this that getting hurt turns out to be that blessing

(24:39):
in disguise where oh my god, he's out. But with that,
with that, if that doesn't happen, the Cowboys will going
the other way. And they're sitting right now and it's well,
there's seven and six there in the playoff on the
Eagles have one, maybe they can get in. But boy,
every week. Last week Dak was good. He through four touchdowns.
The week before he threw four interceptions. That's exactly what
the Cowboys would have been doing wing. But then when

(25:00):
Dak got hurt, they were forced to readjust and oh,
we can get along doing things differently, because it's a
hard thing to don't say a body easy to do,
it's a hard thing to do. But the Cowboys were
able to get that, and that's the biggest key to
their season was understanding we don't need to be that
Dak Prescott driven. Yeah, I think there's a couple of
things that come into play, and I want to get
back to just the uh little slap fight war of words.

(25:23):
You know that was blown up to be more than
it was, although a missed opportunity from Micah Parsons really
to try to become a villain and to push the narrative.
We'll get that for in a second. But with Dak
Prescott out, Kellen Moore and Mike McCarthy have to go
back to the well. As you said, likewise, Zeke Elliott
means more opportunity for Tony Pollard while he was injured

(25:45):
and missed several games, which reminded them of how explosive
and what a game changer he could be if you
got his touch count up as well, not to an
exorbitant level. Right, we still have that fourteen is where
you know we we always do the monitoring of pictures
and their ability to work deep into games. What's the
pitch count where he's the magic number, he's got to

(26:07):
sit out? What do the metrics say? Same thing with
Tony Pollard? Have four team that's it. That's a maximum. Uh,
and then he's got to either be a receiver or
sit on the bench. But all of that means the
offense changed and evolved and helped by the defense. You
change the complexion of the way you're in, style of
game that you're playing. And maybe the the other blessing

(26:29):
to it was because the defense was so dominant, you
were allowed to to pause and start thinking about how
teams of the years past have operated some of those
great defenses, and how the offenses came along. Some of
them put up points. Right, I mean, the Bears were
the number two scoring offense in the Super Bowl year.
Nobody remembers that it's all about the defense. Well, it's

(26:53):
all It's all about what they were doing. The Ravens
whatever else, they weren't bottom feeders in terms of offense.
They took advantage, but they weren't the front runners. Same
thing here for a good spell, the defense rose up.
Now back to the Parsons thing real quick, you know,
as he went through and he name checked everybody, and
Dan and I talked about this a little bit last night.
But the larger point being Michael Parsons, if he really

(27:15):
wanted to have just said, hey, he's just a guy
and it's the system that works right and really put
himself up to the villain, or he could have made
it all about Jalen Hurts and then basically said all right,
come next, week when we put put him to the
side and we kick his ass. I'm the m v

moment of the season being to adjust because I'm telling
you they wouldn't be good right now, and they wouldn't
be as good as this song by Yanni, because I
know this is Yanni, because it's the only Johnny song

(27:57):
anybody ever plays, Yanni. Holiday Hall Today, Holiday Yanni, Yanni?
Everybody Where's Chuck mangi uh? Coming up next to the
tire rack dot com studio. Is still a big lead
for the Niners, one six over the Seahawks, a huge
injury in the NBA, and it's gonna mark the end

(28:19):
of a big time era. That's next right here, Jason

they do apply six San Francisco with the lead over
Seattle early in the fourth quarter, and Mike, you know, uh,

(29:00):
we'll get the Steph Curry in a second, but you know,
as much as we do the show and we watch
the game at the same time so we can be
up on it. No, we're talking about I mean, this
is just I don't know, just me, but I feel
like I've looked up and I think Gino Smith has
been sacked on ten consecutive plays. Every play, every player,
he's getting hit, he's going down, he's standing up. There's

(29:22):
only three official sacks every single play. I feel like
he's yeah, he's under duress. Nick Bosas lived in the
backfield and it's funny and that was one of the
halftime uh pieces of analysis from Andrew Whitworth. He goes, yeah,
he's gonna get him. He's right there because he just
missed him on two or three rushes in the first

(29:42):
half and then you had the penalty call. Uh, and
that he's just he's living in that backfield right now.
It is absolutely insane and right now a big feature
on the telecast really shining up. Damiko Ryan's a guy
who probably starts getting some looks for coaching gigs coming on.
And what he's done with his defense this year. Oh,

(30:03):
he'll easily get a gig. He'll are you kidding? Boy?
Let's see Robert Sala great things head coach, Dimiko Ryan's
great things head coach. That it's gonna happen for him. Man,
He'll he'll be then, not that he'll be the number
one sought after guy this year, and he'll be who
Who's Who's the next assistant that's gonna get a job.
It's gonna be Demko Ryan. He's gonna be the guy

(30:23):
he's gonna be. Now, we got Robert, we got some
we're good, we're good with something this guy. But I'm
telling you no, no, no, no no, no, he can come
and be hard. Are you gonna do We're gonna We're
gonna get rid of the defensive guy. What are you
gonna replace with the guy that replaced him, Yeah, he'll be.
He'll be the number one guy, the number one guy
out there this offseason that teams are gonna go get that. Yeah,

(30:45):
Gina's running for his life. He just did a little
shovel thing, as Bo said, Doe and his once get
almost got you again, and Demko ryans they show him
and and Bo said, both kind of clapping their hands
like damzel clothes. This is one of those in the huddle. Okay,
Red Black stunt on three. Meet at the quarterback one.

(31:07):
That's kind of where we're at at this point. Man.
I'd like to be out there rushing the passer. I
think that's kind of what Ryan's was staying there. I
want to go back in time. I'll meet you at
the quarterback. I'm putting pads on, suddenly taking a sweatshirt
off and putting pads on, getting back out there. Yeah,
we'll have more on this game coming up in a
few minutes. Not and a half left to go, still
one six Niners and they are getting the ball back now.

(31:31):
But big injury in the NBA. The Warriors are gonna
be without Steph Curry for at least a few weeks.
ESPNS Agrient Walt Garowski reporting this earlier today. Curry got
hurt trying to go for a steal. Uh. It's called
a left shoulder subluxation. Uh. During Wednesday's loss to the produters.
A subluxation. Subluxation, subluxation, subluxation. That's what I do. I

(31:57):
woke up to. I woke up to two women in
clubs and I go, hey, I'm Jason. How would you
like a subluxation? You mean an injury to my shoulder?
What's wrong with Would you like take a trip with
me to sublux station? Wait? What? What? What did the
five figures say to the face? Jason? Five figures of
the face? There you go, getting a little victorious. They said, slap, Hey,

(32:19):
would you like a little subluxation between you? And does
my shoulder look that bad? Oh? I gotta go. I
gotta go look at this and look I hang on,
I gotta go look at this. Make sure I'm all right? Oh?
I one to ten? How many like say yes? Ten
random people? How many people would know what that was? Oh?
I don't know. If you're a sports fan, you've heard
it long enough, you know what's an injury of some kind?
It was subluxation. Okay, I was gonna say either either

(32:41):
men or women. I'm I'm I'm not even judging on
either side. I'm saying is probably what one and a half.
It's close to suplux. Well, that's people's sup plantation. I
missed sup Plantation. Oh I got a poor one out
for super Plantation. You never had a salad, they they might.
You can get salad there all the time. Dressing dude,

(33:06):
I would always walk out a suit Plantation like I'm
never eating again. I've eaten so much food. Dude. I'd
get the salad right away, then I then I get
the pizza, and then they had the brownies at the end.
Oh my god, I love the brownies Plantation. Oh yeah,
the plantation was the best. Uh So Steph Curry is out.
And look, this is a Warrior's team that we have
seen now that they're young, players haven't made the strides

(33:30):
they were expected to make. There are five hundred team
and now you're missing your best player for a few weeks,
meaning three to four weeks. Are we're gonna see him.
We're gonna see him before January. Maybe we don't see
him before February. Look, this is just what's happened to
Golden State over the course of the past few months.
They win the title, they needed the young players to
step up and they haven't. And now their players are

(33:52):
getting older, their stars are all older. Are you paying Draymond?
What are you doing? That's what's going on. And I'm
telling you, as time goes on, we're gonna be sitting
are talking about the Warrior dynasty at some point five
seven years from now, and we're gonna say, boy, I
can't believe they were able to squeak out that last
championship with all that young talent coming up right with
Jaw and Zion and all these guys and Brunson. Oh man,

(34:14):
how are they able to squeak out that last championship?
That was really impressive. That's what we're gonna say about
the Warrior. Yeah, I gotta say it's kind of interesting
with Steve Kerr's comments like, well, you know, plenty of
season will be left when he gets backed, And I
have to agree with him because he made the student
observation running away in the West. Nope, it's a muddeled

(34:34):
middle and we like Jaw, we like Zion. We like
those teams at the top very much. So, however, give
me those veterans healthy down the stretch, saying there's a chance. Ah,
you're much more optimistic than I am on that Coming
up next. It's not often a star player wants the
third string quarterback to start, but that's the case next

(34:55):
from Fox.
