So we got Todd Ferman coming up in a few minutes.
Had to Vegas see which way the lines are going
ahead of the a f C and NFC championship games.

(01:09):
But we take a break from Borowhead and get to
salty Tom Brady, I mean, it's great it's a good
time for salty tom Brady. Right. I feel like that
should be like a snack well of all of us
salty tom Brady. Oh, they're really really good. There's lots
of defenders that want to make him a pretzel. Now
you two kidding. Uh. Tom Brady is getting especially salty

(01:33):
after the last few days have gone by, and I
get it. He is hearing player after players say I
think Tom should retire. Tim Brown's that it the other day.
He's now having former teammates talk about it, and he
has had it. Uh. Rob Nikovich, one of his former
teammates with the New England Patriots won Super Bowls with him,
went on ESPN Radio earlier today and said, today, I

(01:55):
texted Tom at the end of the season to say, hey, uh,
you know, congratulations on on on the season, uh, you know,
or tough year, basically saying that, hey, you know, you'll
you'll get him next year was a good run, tough season,
and Tom Brady wrote back to him quote, not according
to your hard hitting analysis, Tom Brady is salty. He

(02:17):
is really really salty, and it's awesome because he is
hearing people say I've been waiting to say this for years.
I think Tom Brady's He's at the end. Now now
I can jump on top up and down on him
and say I think Brady might be done. And now
Brady is lashing out, hearing everybody say he's done. He's
mad at his former teammates. Teammates are questioning him, players

(02:39):
are quite everybody's saying Tom Brady might not be any
good anymore, and now he's salty. Can I can I
say something is related to Nankovic? Sure blank him that
that's correspondence between the two of them. Why I you're
going public with that? Oh look I got dirt on Tommy.
Look it's on my text a jerk. Oh man, Well

(03:03):
look everybody saw. That's correspondence back and forth. You want
to theorize, you want to say, hey Tommy didn't make
the throws whatever else, you go into the personal text
back and forth. Screw you. Well look this is you know,
this is him saying, okay, Tommy's upset with me, and
now he's burning that bridge. I'm okay. Nikovich is okay
burning that bridge now with Tommy because it got him

(03:24):
the extra four minutes of coverage. Yeah he Hey, look, hey,
you see everybody fighting for all kinds of relevancy. If
I don't have something interesting to say or something crazy
to say, no one's gonna listen to me. So I'm
gonna burn that Brady. I think that's the last interesting
thing he's got to say. Then. Look, the big takeaways
from this Number one is forget about retiring. Brady's gonna

(03:47):
play as long as somebody wants them. Right, there's no
retirement happening because he wouldn't be this salty and this
piste if it was the end, right, he'd be. He'd
be taking his time away and not and not and
not getting involved in everything going on with what people
are saying. You wouldn't be cursing at Jim Gray about
his decision, whether that's manufactured or not. You know he

(04:07):
wants to play. The only way he is not playing
is if there is no interest is if other teams,
Because there's a lot of quarterbacks that could be out there, right,
you're talking Aaron Rodgers, Lamar Jackson, justin fields, maybe Derek
Carr and Jimmy Garoppolo. We know we're gonna be out there. Um,
there's only so many teams are gonna be needing quarterbacks
and all these guys are gonna play a little bit
longer than Tom Brady will. So the only way he

(04:30):
doesn't play is if he is told, hey, I'm sorry,
there's not a lot of interest, which I think is
gonna happen sooner rather than later, because because of the
way the off season market is structured, we're gonna need
to know where these guys are going for free agency.
So if you think Brady is gonna have this real
long drawn out process, now we're gonna know by the
beginning of March. Brady is gonna want to have his

(04:51):
destination in hand in the beginning of March, and if
he doesn't, it's gonna be you're gonna hear nothing from
him for about a month or so, and then we
get close in to the draft, he will announce his
retirement for good from the NFL, just so it doesn't
sound like nobody wants him so I'm being forced to retire.
But we're gonna get a Brady decision before free agency
begins and before trades have for all of this, because

(05:12):
teams are gonna want to know, all right. I want
to get him here, get him here, get him here,
So we'll know that. But he wants to play. There's
no He does not want this to be the last
we see. Remember that last year for Brady, Yeah, it
was so sad. He wasn't very good. He went through
a divorce. Remember when he when he skipped training camp
for eleven days and and he didn't look like the
same guy. And they got smoked in the playoffs. They

(05:33):
didn't even finish over five hundred. They were lucky to
make it in there. He does not want that to
be his legacy, as much as it might be the
best he's at and because there's no guarantee it gets
better next year, but he does not want that to
be his legacy. And he's like, no, no, I want
to play next year. The only way he doesn't is
if he's told no. But there's gonna be no. Hey,
I've had it with competition and I'm finishing. I'm walking away.

(05:55):
He got divorced because he was playing football for too much.
So really he's not gonna play anymore now. He's saying
that to worry about doesn't have to worry about coming
home and and and and getting in a fight with
Giselle about it and talking about football and playing. When
I was gonna be home. Now, he's a single dad.
He could do what he wants. He can, he can
make his own decision. He's gotten all there. He's not
gonna walk away unless he is told he can't. Well,

(06:16):
I would say that, you know, there there is the
possibility that a year removed from all of that, maybe
there there's something in your psychology that changed to where
maybe that burning desire isn't as much. Part of it
was the tug of I'm still great and you're trying
to take this from me, but he doesn't have anymore,

(06:39):
so that push pull isn't there. We're always talking about motivations,
how we've been living in you know, borrowhead, uh for
the last head. But but for Brady, Yeah, I had
no doubt at least at this point that there's still
the desire to the play, or at least it's burning
at him and enough to where he's he's a bit

(07:01):
chippy about it and good acting right fresh out of
you know, a d for Brady and the scenes, they're
in a lot of talk and publicity for it. That
that he had his Jim Gray thing. It's like, set
me up with this, toss it up to me, and
it was like a w W E shoot interview. It
doesn't matter what do you think. Uh So I've expected

(07:23):
Jim Gray that go follow up by saying, you're not
mad at me? Tom? Are you I don't want to
be mad at me? Are you're not mad at me?
Are you I don't want me? I had to ask
the question, you're not mad, don't be mad, don't be
bad Tom. He paused and said, you know, Scratchy, long
time I've been coming to know and and just go
on down the line and grab from your favorite w
W E WWF superstar pastor present. But I think it

(07:48):
has to happen quick for a number of reasons, right
before you get into the combine, before you get into
free agency, trying to get those ducks in a row.
What's it cost? What's he you know, bringing to the table.
What's the structure it needs to change? If you're trying
to bring him in? It is there some sort of
personnel change in the front offices that need to move
and make way? Kind of like you know your guy

(08:09):
Aaron Rodgers and the your analysis of hey set the table.
He told you bring my guy in there. It was
almost like he held a picker picture of hacking up
this guy. You don't get the right key and get
the right offensive coordinator over there, and and Zach Wilson'll
be fine in certain my name for Zach Wilson um.
But for Brady it's it's it's fun theater, right, photoshopping

(08:34):
him into all these teams and trying to figure out
what the the want is for all of these guys.
Him and Garoppolo, Freddy maybe falling off, but he stays
on the field, don't he true? And he does have
that And I'm a big believer that you talk about
a guy who was incredibly motivated. Brady is motivated right

(08:55):
as doesn't want this year to be his last, how
how he goes out. But this is also here where
physically he wasn't at his best. He was so thin, right,
Jeff Darlington had the report today, Brady lost twenty five pounds,
and you know, maybe that was part of where he
wasn't at He didn't throw the ball like he was
so No, I'm a believer that Brady can bounce back.
But the other part of this, and this is another
reason why Brady is so salty, is because he has

(09:17):
lost control of the narrative and the narrative went from boy,
Tom Brady being around and available to oh, Tom Brady's around,
he's available. Aren't there some other guys we like a
little bit more? I mean, he can't have that right,
because as much as you'd like to think of, every
team is gonna do their due diligence. They're gonna watch
the tape, they're gonna do everything they can and go
and make a very solid X and those decision on Brady,

(09:39):
It's not gonna be that way. And if teams keep
hearing the narrative all the time from players that Brady
played with, from players who played the game at a
high level, and you keep hearing I think Tom's done.
I think Tom should walk away. I don't know that
he's the same guy. Then you start to believe that
and and and it seeps in because boy, all these
people are telling us Brady's done. Ah, we're really gonna

(10:00):
out and get Tom Brady in your opinion is slanted
on it because that's what you've heard. So no matter
if you're the Raiders who are like, boy, we'd love
to go get Tom Brady. Boy, you keep here, boy
Brady's this Brady is that BP? Nah? Maybe a better
guy is out there for us. I don't know about Brady.
I mean, look, I I firmly believe the best fit
for him is in Vegas, and when he winds up going,
that's where he will go. Because the star power of

(10:21):
Brady is too much for Mark Davis to say no to.
And that's where he's gonna wind up heading up. But
if you get enough of that, you get enough of
the yeah, Brady might be done. Brady might be done,
even if by guys on TV. This is where the
media can be very powerful and can really take a
storyline and turn it. There's only one way with this.
Brady is done. And all these guys that you respect
to talk about football, the former players that are on

(10:43):
TV every day, they say it, okay, you start to
believe it, and and they're not gonna say it unless
there's evidence of it. You're gonna see, you know, guys
like Dani Rolovsky on TV going, I see this right here,
this guy's here to circle, this guy older and he's
up here, and this guy with Tom Brady's over here,
and you're gonna and you're gonna believed. Okay, Brady really
is done. So he wants to seize that narrative that

(11:04):
I'm not done. I just had a down year. I
had a lot of crap going on because I'm forty
five years old now everything else went along with it,
and I want to flip that. And every time something
like this happens, it hurts him. It's one thing if
if someone that that entertains for a living on television
says it, like, it's one thing if like if Skip
says it or somebody else like, but when you're talking

(11:25):
about Hall of Fame players and guys that he played with,
whoa those those guys carry the weight in the with
the GMS A wall Okay, you know Shannon Sharpe said this,
or or you know Rob Nikovitch who played with the
guy for a long time. He was critics critical of
him and said, this is Tim Brown's about as good
at wide receiverings. You could positively get that piles up
and Brady's bread pisses Brady off. He wants to change

(11:46):
that narrative. Of course. Yeah, you certainly the competitor, and
you and and you recognize where there were gaps in
the year, whether it was you know, time and attention,
even if it wasn't physical time full lee away. You
might have still been watching film, but it's on your
head how everything's changing and and processing and you do

(12:07):
your best. Certainly, Um, you had a lot of turmoil
within the team itself that had nothing to do with
Brady's acumen and ability to push the ball downfield. You
had an off awful offensive line. You had no running
game at all except for a couple of situational plays.
Uh and Lenny for net and you know the rookie.

(12:31):
They came up with some some spots here and there,
but Richard White, but for the most part that was
an ineffective piece of the game to where there was
there wasn't even an attempt to try to build that
in so you had to play action and be able
to back things off. Didn't happen. So yeah, lot lots

(12:51):
of issues that that certainly go through the processes there
and just in the carousel, what makes sense? Who's really in?
I still say, so long as two is still not
clearing concussion protocol, riddle me that one, batman, um or
is it just hey, this game really doesn't count, so
we're not clearing you, uh, and move forward. Whatever reality is,

(13:14):
You've still got an issue to solve in Miami at
some point. I don't know a timing based offense with
that guy running, I think I could be okay with that.

Hiss bet the Board podcast. See him on CBS as well, Todd,
what's happen? But man, how are you this Friday night?
I'm doing well, gentlemen. Hopefully you boys are holding up
over there the same way. All right, So obviously you've
done so much. You're going through your Twitter feet today.
Everything going on with the a f C, NFC Championship games. Uh,
let's let's go. Let's get to this one. Which game

(14:17):
do you like the most? What's the number you like
the most? Yeah, I don't like either of these games.
To be honest, guys, I think that both gonna be
great to watch from a fan standpoint and everything else,
but there's very little betting value. As you typically see
this time of year, the markets continue to get more efficient,
the injuries are baked into the numbers, and the reality
of it is the ship is kind of sailed on

(14:37):
Kansas City and Cincinnati. If you had a chance to
grab the Bengals plus three on the open, I tip
my hat that's the best of the number that was
out there, and the same can be said about Kansas City.
And for someone who bet Kansas City in the first
half plus a half a point, I'm not gonna sit
here in Champion laying and a half or condoning laying
one there. So that's probably the strongest lean I have,
knowing that Patrick Mahomes is going to be at his

(14:57):
healthiest in the first half of that game before the
ankle stiffens up and some of the pain meds wear off.
But not quite sure who walks out of Arrowhead victorious.
I will say that the Cincinnati Bengals, coming in with
an awful lot of bluster and bravado probably not the
best recipe for success against the team that you beat
by a grand total of nine points in three games
and your trail going into the fourth quarter and all

(15:18):
of them. Can I get a prop bed on the
number of yards allowed by Eli Apple? I mean, hopefully
Kansas City targets him early and often, because you look
at his coverage grades, there are nothing to write home about.
It'd be the same thing, guys, when you went into
college classes and you know you were able to consistently
pull good grades, and the guy that's pulling a low
sea average or a high D is the one talking

(15:39):
the most trash before all those grades get posted. When
you're elite, you're afforded that luxury. When you're Eli Apple,
I'd be in that locker room, in that defensive huddle
going and dude, shut your mouth, go out there and perform.
Don't give them added bulletin board material any more than
what the mayor of Cincinnati provided for Kansas City as well.
All right, what are you a bigger fan of? Take
you out of gambling for a second? Burrow Head or

(16:02):
the Niners T shirt on the Rocky statue, Brocky, do
you like Burrowhead or Brocky, What do you like better?
You know what, that's a tough call. I think I
like Brocky a little bit better. I mean, hopefully for
Niners fans, b October comes about six seven months earlier
than anticipated here because they're gonna need all of their
players to raise their level against Philadelphia. But here we

(16:23):
are again, guys, And we talked about this last week,
not knowing how good the Giants really were. Were they
a byproduct of playing bad football teams down the stretch
at Philadelphia took advantage of and suddenly we're talking about
the Eagles is the greatest thing since sliced bread because
they beat up on a giant team that had linebackers
that probably couldn't cover the three of us out in space.
So I made this game closer to one. Haven't gotten

(16:46):
involved yet. If the number did get to three, I
V value betting the forty Niners. And that's the thing
going through with the forty Niners. Seemingly um as you said,
the recency of what the Eagles were able to do,
it's like, oh, there they are world beaters again. Uh,
this is a decided step up in class, at least
to my estimation, except everybody's still waiting for the demise

(17:08):
of Rock berty Well. I mean that's the whole thing. Look,
I mean, we know that there's a history or lack
there off of rookie quarterbacks taking their teams to the
biggest game in the NFL. And the reality of it
is Kyle Shanahan has done more with the last this year,
going through not one, not two, but three quarterbacks here,
dealing with a laundry list of injuries. But the biggest
question that Philadelphia is going to have to address in

(17:30):
this spot is is that run defense drastically improved from
a group that we saw struggle the first ten eleven weeks.
I know, metrically they've been better, They've at least been average.
And the other thing about it is the offensive line
is going to get tested early and often. You may
not have the luxury of not being able to use
your cackles on the outside to try and float on
the pass rush. So keep a close eye and Nick

(17:52):
Bose against Jordan m Latta. I think that's the weak
link for Philadelphia, and if they're not gonna chip or
give him some extra help on the inside, could be
a very disruptive force. Alright, so outside of that playing
quarterback musical chairs, we've had a lot of fun. The
last couple of days. Tom Brady is upset when he
gets criticized by his former teammates. Aaron Rodgers is going
to the Jets. Uh, what are the odds? What are

(18:13):
the lowest odds? Are the Jets the favorite? Now for Rogers?
Who's the favorite for Brady? I mean, obviously Rogers is
still a favorite to return back to where he played
his football for his entire career, back in Green Bay.
So every market's a little bit different, and I would
caution people that are looking at some of these prices, uh,
to kind of make sure they're reading the fine print,

(18:34):
because they become enamored with short numbers, not realizing that
if they return to their current team, that some of
those bets are Nolan void. But the Jets probably make
the most sense, mainly mainly because I could see Wody
mortgaging the future and trading multiple first round picks to
chase a dream, which I think is a little bit shortsighted,
But that's the Jets. They do all sorts of unique

(18:54):
things Smith, as you are all too accustomed to, and
as far as Brady I mean I said before, or
I mean I thought Miami made the most sense in
terms of a logical fit. The Raiders aren't built to
win now, and Tom Brady at this point his career
needs everything to be perfect for him to be able
to compete and perform at a high level. He's got
a little bit more zip on the ball than Peyton
Manning and the twilight of his career when he won

(19:15):
the Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos. But at the
same time, I mean, Miami, if they work on their
offensive line a bit and get the young players to
step up, the weapons are there on the offensive and
defensive side. The only deterrent the a f C is
an absolute bear. I mean, there's no easy out with
the way that we've seen quarterbacks upgraded top to bottom
throughout that conference. Todd Ferman, our guests to Bet the
Board podcast, where you find him joins the seats in

(19:37):
every week here at The Jason Smith Show with Me
Mike Carmon here on Fox Sports Radio. Find Todd on
Twitter at Todd Ferman. Back to the Games as well.
On the a f C side of things, um the defense.
We talked a lot about the quarterbacks, but the defense
make of the day. And I have to joke on
Eli Apple, but folks seemingly forgetting Kansas City some defense

(20:00):
to Todd in in this process, at least on the
up front. So I'll see a lot of props on
Joe Bett and Joe Burrow that are pretty high. I
mean Joe Burrow, Look, he's gone out there and perform.
We know the Bengals aren't afraid to put the ball
in his hands and trust the face of their franchise
to go out there and win football games, and rightfully so,
there's no reason to lean on the ground game anymore

(20:23):
than you have to. Last weekend, Joe Mixon, you know,
exceeded everyone's expectations. It was the second greatest rushing performance
we've seen in Bengals playoff history. First down thirty of
them was a franchise best, and they did all sorts
of things that are a little bit different than their
d n A. I don't give their offensive line of
free pass. I think everybody fell in love with their
performance last week. But if you watch tape and you

(20:45):
talk to guys that have played the game, I never
have defensive linemen are at a massive disadvantage when they're
working in snow. All it takes the offensive lineman to
engage and it pretty much shuts them down. You can't
spin off, you can't use your bull rosh, you can't
get your footing to get after a quarterback. Here comes
Chris Jones, George Carl Loftus and Frank Clark that are
going to make life a little bit more difficult. So
Joe Burrow is extremely effective getting the ball out of

(21:07):
his hands quickly. The Bengals have shown an ability to
drive the football methodically this year compared to last and
I think both of these defense could surprise some people.
So as this total continues to leak up, with the
expectation that Patrick Mahomes will be healthier than we think,
I think under makes a ton of sense. I mean,
over the last two post seasons, the Bengals have played
exactly one game that's gone over the total, and that
exceeded Oddsmaker's expectations by half a point, in their playoff

(21:30):
opener this year against the Ravens. You can follow on
Twitter at Todd Ferman, That is at Todd Ferman, check
him out on CBS, check out that the Board podcast
as well. Todd as always man. Appreciate you every Friday night,
enjoy the games. On Sunday, we'll talk to you. You
got a gentlemen, have a great weekend and have fun
watching bitter Sweet that we only have three meaningful football
games left this season, which is just as fun. We

(21:54):
can talk about quarterbacks, spoken like a true Jets fan. There, Smith,
and you can wait for syracusees over on your wind
total to get released and hope that Bowl eligibilities in
the future for the Harvard of Update New York. But
Nathaniel Hacketts with the Jets and he's accused. Guy, sure,
the Harvard of Upstate New York. No, no comment, boys,
no comment. Although we're actually Central New York. But that's okay.

(22:18):
It's it's you know, listen, it's it's tough. It's not
not everybody can find Syracuse on a map. It's not
like it's, oh, it's right there, it's right next to
where it's where Dallas is, that's where l a is.
That's it gets at difficult. But it is the Harvard
or Central New York. My school gets confused with random
spots in Washington and the other parts of the world.
So it's okay. In Washington. Well, I mean the colors colors,

(22:42):
and then you got Northeastern. That's confusion. And yeah, well
at least people know that's in the east. Well, because
it's eastern, northwestern, oh, northwest Washington, that's where it must be. Yeah,
just then football school, So that helped for a while.
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith

Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm Pacific, The Jason Smith Show with my best friend
Mike Harmon Live and the tirect dot Com Studios. All right,
so Michael Floor, who couldn't pilot the Jets to anything,
gets the rams O C gig. Now, I understand that
you know certain things that you're in. You're in the

(23:26):
right scheme, you have the right personnel, all of these things.
But he couldn't make it work with Zack Wilson. And
it's been a couple of years and there was no
forward pushing the Jets offense. Once Breese Hall got hurt, Okay,
this is when you get paid. Now, Okay, you had
the one of the best rookie running backs to come
into the game in a few years. He gets hurted. Okay,
what do you got you got your second year rookie quarterback.

(23:46):
Oh no, we haven't developed him yet, and he and
he doesn't even look like he knows where to go
with the football, and he gets the gig with the Rams.
All right. Now, here's the here's the thing. I've told
you for a while. The era of the Rams is
over and and they're gonna be bad frocause eventual, you
gotta pay when you just keep mortgaging the future for
a star player. Here a star player coming in coming,
in coming and coming in. The thing is you have

(24:07):
gotten an offensive coordinator to now come in who had
a run heavy ish type system going on with the Jets,
which is what he brought over from San Francisco. Um,
this is why the Ram this. I see this move
and I go, how is this going to help the Rams?
What's the Rams offensive identity? I can't even tell you, Mike,

(24:30):
I can't what's the Rams? All the other good teams,
I could say, what's your identity? Okay, I get it.
A team can do this this, and I can tell
you the Jets offensive identity. And they're gonna run the
football heavy with Bruce Hall and Michael Carter and they're
gonna throw the football as a compliment to the running game.
Garrett Wilson is the guy they don't need to bring
back Corey Davis. This is who the Jets are gonna be.

(24:51):
I look at the Rams and I go, are they
gonna be a run heavy team? It's cam Akers gonna
be any good? I mean, the guy wanted to trade
midway through the season, and then when he ran the football,
he was just Okay. They don't have that big depth
at running back. Okay, they're gonna throw the football. You
got Stafford coming off an injury. The guy you signed
to be the next great wide receiver, Allen Robinson was terrible.

(25:12):
Cooper Cup got hurt. What's your identity? You're gonna remake
the Rams in one off season where you don't have
a lot of money, you don't have a lot of
draft picks, and you've taken the guy that's come in
with a very specific kind of system to do it.
How are you gonna do that? If you had the
personnel in place already, I would say, Okay, look, he
comes into this offense and and the Rams have a
couple of good running backs that have shown they can

(25:32):
stay healthy, and a quarterback that's healthy. Okay, I get
all right, you know what, maybe this will work. It's
kind of you know, forty niners light. But the Rams
don't have any of this personnel and you don't have
a lot of means to go get it to fit
this in. So just how is this gonna work? I
mean when I I I want to see sunny days
for the Rams here just but living here in l A.
I want to see Rams fans being excited. It's fun, right, Rams,

(25:55):
But I just can't see it. And this move, I say,
who were the Rams to be? What are they gonna
try to do? They're gonna throw the fo I don't
know what their identity isn't and I don't think they
have this offseason to get it done. This is this
is one of those points where I scratched my head
and I go, they really this is the guy they
wanted to go get. This is the guy they really
had to go get to bring in to run this system.

(26:15):
This is not Hey, I'm doing a favor for a
brother of a guy that you know that I've known
that I owe a lot to a guy in the place. Seriously,
That's how I look at this. There there is a
little of that. You know, obviously top heavy when you
talk about contracts. Here a lot of scuttle butt about
a tweet that or Instagram posts I forget which it
was from Jalen Ramsey kind of talking about the future

(26:37):
as the season came to an end, So wondering if
he isn't the piece that gets spun off to bring
you back at least some draft capital even in a
blank those picks kind of society, but you need better
work from your offensive line that was terrible. Acres was
interesting at times. Kyra and Williams, they're hopeful, but again

(26:57):
fifth round pick, uh And and molt and Brown once
upon a time was a name that we cared about,
certainly in the fantasy realm. He was, he was relevant
for a minute, But is he a guy that you
know has any any value for this team going forward?
You got Higbee Cup coming back off injury, Allen Robinson,

(27:18):
I guess you look at it all right, Stafford got hurt,
so what what could you expect from this back end
of the season. But certainly it was a disaster and
money poorly spent. When when folks get down to it, right,
when you just look going down to brass tacks no
impact there, but you still got big years out of
Floyd and Wagner. And assuming Aaron Donald still is is

(27:41):
ready to go and and rev up the engine one
more time, he's still got talent in a division that
is curious. What Seattle gonna be next year, I don't know,
San Francisco is gonna be pretty good. And then Arizona, really,
I mean grab your popcorn there. Who the hell knows
what that's gonna look like. So you have the opportunity
to be relevant once again. But it is really hard

(28:05):
to see any anything without seeing the power point presentation
and whatever movie and TV clips that he put in
there to make it funny or captivating would earn him
this job based on what he just did in New York.
Really ridiculous. I mean, you can fail that tremendously and
get a job with a team that's one year moved

(28:26):
from the super Bowl, And I mean really, it's almost
it's almost like like a like a nepotism higher right,
like hey, you know, hey, me and the La floors
are tight, I'm gonna hire his brother. I I it really,
it doesn't it doesn't make sense. I mean, if you're
a Ransman. You're like, wait, we just hired the Jets
o C, the Jets offensive coordinator, the Jets guy. But
is there a second book that he's got that he

(28:47):
couldn't install based on the way they were building in
New York that maybe he didn't have a choice. Again,
that you have a different set of tools in the
old box that you can go to work a different
part of the part of the program. So maybe maybe
there there's something there for the floor, I mean, and

(29:08):
the fact that ten teams had o C openings, he
was gonna end up somewhere might as well be the
rams you know, you know, you say la fleur, just
like Ben Stiller says it in Dodgeball when you say
the floor, you say with that you give, you give
that push to it. The floor. Yeah, Joni loves Chatchy floor.

(29:30):
It is affected. There's no question, no question about it.
I just think look in the interview, he just held
up that science and it's Zax fault. It's Zax fault. Exactly.
Can you tell me what you were thinking in weeks? Oh,
exact right, Zach Wilson, Any questions, just Zach Wilson, ch
cut of what you guys did offensively and you know,
you know, just just cut and then it's two minutes

(29:52):
and it's the subliminal messaging that keeps flashing because it's
all Zach Hey, your game plan in that Patriots game.
That's one of the most embarrassing offensive performances in the
last ten years. Oh, Zach Wilson, Right, guy, right, Zach Wilson. Okay, alright, performance,
thanks for coming in, appreciate it. We'll let you know.
Teammates saying twitter at how about a fresco? Mike gets

(30:16):
swollen to The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harman, come

(30:37):
The Jason Smith Show with my best friend Mike Harmon
a lot from the borough and studios, so we get
ready for Sunday. We got Burrowhead and we got Brocky.
I don't know, I like both of the stories. I
just can't believe really, how do how do Eagles? How
does the city of Philadelphia not have people watching and

(30:59):
guarding the Rocky Statue so Niners fans can't go put
a T shirt over the a Niners T shirt over
the Rocky Statue. I mean, you gotta have people out
there right like that. Did you pay like just a
few dollars and just watched the thing? You know, not
even like an official security guards, just people watching it.
It's like those people that show up with their shovels
for some hot coco and a hardy handshake in Green

(31:23):
Bay when it snows. Oh no, no, it's more than
you just gotta sit there. In Philadelphia, they want you
like shoveling. Come on, let's go, let's go. Yeah. It
should have been greasing that statue up, man? How do
we not have the grease left over so people couldn't
get up on the Rocky Statue and do it straight
out of old school? That's what we need. We need

(31:44):
those industrial sized jars. I mean I had to go
get I had to go get my my whiz with
and I had to take some of the grease off
the I just wipe it right on there. But I
didn't have enough it's only one sandwich. I couldn't do
it grease from sand which is nicely done. Uh. Time
now for the play of the night. And the play

(32:05):
of the night, of course, is brought to you by
Progressive Progressive, making things even easier. They'll help you bundle
your home and car insurance together so you can save
on both. Learn more at progressive dot com or call
one eight hundred Progressive. Well, when your team scores eighty
five points in the first half of the game, your
star player gets to be the play of the night.

(32:26):
Missed on the three short but the rebound is taken
off the ground by Janice. Be honest, spins inside underneath
Turner and he will rock the round with a two
hand sham. Bucks Radio Network on the call Janice forty
one points, twelve rebounds. Tonight, the Bucks score eighty five
in the first half against the Pacers. They win this
game one one to one thirty one. They shoot fifty

(32:49):
from the floor, they make eighteen threes. If they had
shot better from the free throw line, they could have
had a hundred and fifty. But it was just not
that kind of night. But wow, eight five in the
first half from Milwaukee. Every you know, every time we
spend we spend time thinking, oh, the Sixers could be
this good, and boy, the Celtics running away. Boy, here
come the Knicks. Oh the Knicks beat this up. You know,

(33:10):
the Bucks say, okay that that's nice. But here's a
nice eighty five point first half, and uh, yeah we're
cruising here in Jhanna scores forty. They just give you
that reminder every now and again that you know it,
don't don't forget about us. Yeah, it's nice talk about
those other teams that don't forget about us. Well, last
week he had some concerns, you're honest, missing a couple
of games. But then it said, alright, he's back. Now

(33:31):
we go to school again. Just sometimes you needed that
harsh reminder of of who and what you're chasing. Uh,
in this world you mentioned the Sixers. We'd be remiss
if we didn't at least acknowledge that Joe l Embiid
was fined twenty five thousand dollars for imitating the famous
degeneration X crotch chop. Yeah, you kind of knew that

(33:51):
was gonna happen. There's certain things. I thought it was
pretty light because it was um it was kind of
next level on National TV. Yeah, oh yeah, well listen,
and that's the whole thing. I was on National TV.
We have to find him now, and it wasn't on TV,
and he just is on the highlights. That's one thing,
but this is naturally televised. We got we gotta have. Well,
it's like the outrage this week over load management. You

(34:14):
guys missed some National TV games and all of a sudden,
it's the worst thing in the world. Yeah, uh, twitter
at how about a Fresca Mike hat swollen down the
Jason Smith Show with my best friend Mike Carmon. All right,
here we go, uh NFC and a f C Championship
games Sunday. I've stuck with the Eagles all year long.
I told you they were going to the Super Bowl

(34:34):
the preseason. I can't walk away now. Their offensive line
is too good. They will have the advantage over brock Purty,
who's gonna come back to Earth a little bit. And
in the a f C. Give me the Bengals, despite
the fact they're all cocky and arrogant and this could
be their downfall, they're just too good. Mahomes is banged up.
He's gonna get hit a couple of times. That's gonna

(34:55):
be the great big equalizer. Give me the Bengals and
the Eagles in the Super Bowl, exact opposite for me.
Kansas City might pick before the year looking for Mahomes
a couple of jail break opportunities. Whifs are gonna bring
the house trying to get after him and make a
move and screw up that ankle, and he'll say, ha ha,

(35:15):
I dumped the ball off, you can't touch me, and
away the guy sprints away to daylight. Keep an eye
on injury reports, of course as we go, particularly for
Kelsey uh and the back on the other side. Had
San Francisco playing the Bucks. The Bucks disappointed me, Dusty
um but and very much so. But we've got the
forty Ninos. I'll take Brock Purtty to continue his run.

(35:38):
Twitter at how about a fresco Mike and Swollen Dome
enjoy these epic games. Burning Bernie Fratto coming up next
