(00:47):
we're gonna continue on the conversation we started a few
minutes ago. Sean Payton is now the new head coach
of the Denver Broncos. After whatever went on behind closed doors,
they were able to get a deal done. The bun
Goes get Sean Payton and a third round pick, and
the Saints get a first round pick and a second
round pick from the Broncos. I mean the bronco Who
(01:10):
was more? Who was more first round picks left right now?
The Broncos or the Lakers who picks in the first
round next? I don't know that anybody does. I don't
think either of them do. I think it's all kicked
down the down on the road here. Yeah, yeah, you
know what stopped with that frost? Does that get Does
that mean they get to steal their pick? Is that
(01:30):
one of those like like like one of the old
hair matches where they'd rub the savon and you can
see the hair fall off. I mean a little nair
kind of product. It means that Julius randall, oh wait, hey,
we gotta wait. We may have to take down that
Julius Brand have to take what his efforts in the
(01:51):
final minutes a game, taking out the rest of the
hair that Thibodeau has on his head. I mean he's
been clinging to that for so long. Can't we talk
about Sean Payton? I mean, can we tell? Can we
we we talked about Julius Rand. You always say, do
you listen to you talk about your team till the time?
And it's like that, I spent a lot of time
by my hair. Ready hits it? You gonna listen you
talk about and you keep bringing up Julius Ran. I'm
(02:14):
ready to go to Sean. Let's go to shot Well
he started, yeah, let's go to Sean Payton. He was
looking like he was going back to the booth. Everything
was right. You look at the broncos on paper. We
we said all along, it looked like an okay job,
except for the whole Russell Wilson and power vacuum thing.
But you know what happens. Sean Payton gets to fill
(02:35):
that power vacuum. You want me to come here, yes,
figure out the compensation with the Saints, But you know what,
I'm the captain now, I'll tell you first things first,
the Saints did a baller job getting a first and
second round pick for a guy who was never going
to coach for them again. Right like he he was
walking away. And as much as it was okay, hey,
(02:56):
we thanks Sean Payton for all his years, he was
ready to move to walk away and go someplace else.
So you know there's a little bit of bitterness. And
you know that as negotiations go on, Oh you want
to come back, You don't want to come back with us,
you want to go someplace else. It's gonna get acrimonious
and it was going to be difficult and for the
Saints to be able to get a first and second
round pick, to hold out for that when I thought
(03:18):
for sure, hey, you gotta drop it. You get a
first round pick is kind of what you what you
get for a coach, right, A mid to late first
round pick is sort of what you get when you
trade for a head coach. That's what we've seen in
the past. And to be able to get a first
and they came back a third, but you getting the
first and a second, that's pretty good. He was never
gonna play. He was never gonna coach for you. Again,
that's a pretty good move by the Saints. And did
(03:39):
you did you not see the invisible link though that
kept saying see you in hell underneath Like wait, I
put that you put the flame under it like Jamie
Lee Curtis and knives out. Oh, I see the secret
message here. It says blank you, I'll see you in
l alright, thank you. We got Taysom Hill top five
tight end. Wait, we moving back to corner back, but
(04:00):
he's ready to be that emergency quarterbacks. Ain't got one
of those. But I'll tell you man, if this was
absolutely what the Broncos needed to do. This is one
of the best offensive minds in the game of the
last one. But this is why I believe in Sean Payton.
I think you have to recuse yourself over their charges.
(04:24):
He's he's upset because, well, we lose Derek Carr. We
now we get Sean Payton. Come into the the flow
of it all, every single person and this is why
you say, well, Sean Payton system in Russell Wilson. Okay,
Sean Payton. Every single quarterback he has had in New Orleans,
and yes, a lot of it was Drew Brees, but
(04:44):
when Drew Brees would get hurt, Teddy Bridgewater came in,
Taysom Hill came in, every guy, Jamis Winston when he
had to start for a while. Every player who came
in to play for Sean Payton at quarterback was good.
Was hey, this guy might be really good. And then
it turns out in the end, Okay, maybe they weren't.
(05:04):
Sean Payton has gone, they moved on to a different team.
But Teddy Bridgewater was never better than he was with
Sean Payton in the Saints, right, Jamis Winston jump started
his career for about seven weeks until he got hurt
a couple of years ago. Hey, he's not that thirty
thirty a guy anymore. Uh, this is a guy. Look,
he's winning games, he's putting numbers up. It was he
was fourteen touchdowns and three picks till he got her
(05:25):
two years ago, and that really put an end to
his starting days in the NFL. He Taysom Hill. We thought,
this guy is gonna be the next great courter. This
guy's a great dual threat quarterback. He's running for two
touchdowns a week. Yes, it was against lower level competition,
but here's a guy that doesn't take a lot of snaps.
Everybody that's played quarterback for Sean Payton has done well,
so excuse me. That's what I'm gonna default too, is
(05:49):
that he's gonna be able to take Russell Wilson and
do things that are just fine with him. Because these
are all guys with different skills, and it's not like
Drew Brees and every other guy was a clone of
Drew Brees. Drew Brees was Drew a breeze Teddy Bridgewater
a little bit more conservative, didn't have a strong arm,
still able to get it done. Tayson Mill different guy
dual threat quarterbacks to able to put points on the board.
Jami's Winston dual threat quarterback's able to put points on
(06:11):
the board. So I'm pretty confident that things are gonna
go really well with Denver next year and he's able
to remake Russell Wilson to a point where he gets
the Broncos back in the playoffs. So I feel great
about Sean Payton because every quarterback, he's got to fix
the offense and it starts the quarterback, and every quarterbacks
ever played for him has been really good. Yeah. I
would say one of the things that that flows in
(06:32):
the positivity uh of the Broncos was the fact that
once Jerry Rossburg got there, and this is even when
Hackett was running stuff, he started to see at least
a little bit of a shift in terms of the
wrinkling the wrinkles that were there. We're getting ironed out
a little in terms of their efficiency problems there, timing
(06:55):
on things, stuff that you look even in Miami never
really got fixed at the end with their backups. Right
where McDaniel was running, the play clocked down and they're
getting delay of game penalties and stuff. A lot of
the pre snap stuff for the Broncos. Towards the end
of the season, particularly once Rossburn took over, UH really
started to fall away. And while Russell Wilson wasn't the
(07:17):
guy we once knew, you at least saw some glimpses
of them. I don't know that he gets restored all
the way there, but there's nobody better on the marketplace
that you would have gotten to come in and be
your coach to find out. Right, we we stipulate that
there is plenty of talent. Tim Patrick will come back
off injury. You've got Judy, You've got Sutton, Javonte Williams
(07:39):
from all reports should be based on timing, ready to
at least serve some capacity for you as the regular
season goes on. I've seen the comparisons to J K. Dobbins.
Usage by the Ravens this year is maybe a bit
of an example of what you're expecting where if you
(08:00):
can whether it's someone on the roster like Boone, because
it won't be Um you know, Melvin Gordon is gone. UH,
whether it's Boon or they bring in another running back
via the draft or free agency, UH, that you you
work to have most of the load handled by somebody
else and then eventually Williams is ready to take on
(08:21):
the full workload. And you saw how the Ravens did
that with Dobbins. And when healthy, you're highly effective in
that run game. So get a little of that, you
get the balance offensively defensively, you know you've got a
roster that that's ready to work and and can be
at top ten defense once again. So yeah, the all
signs point to up right, we look at the Chargers
(08:44):
until we we get more updates on the changes in
the training staff. I'm always gonna have issues, Sorry, Frostburg,
I gotta call it what it is. I have less
reservations about the coaching and the roster as assembled than
their ability to stay on the field. Am I wrong?
Tell me I'm wrong. I'm not wrong. You've got the
Raiders are the Raiders. Uh So, unless you know they
(09:07):
find some some magic in the desert there, uh, it's
it's well same old Raiders. Uh. And because they've got
decisions to make with all their skill position guys from
Jacobs to Waller too to Renfro. The only guy there
to definitely put up numbers, Davante Adams and while we
saw even with him that you could have some lean
(09:28):
games along the way, and then Kansas City is is
there even with Tyreek Hill gone Oh wait, there they
are in the super Bowl again and they don't look
like they're going anywhere anytime soon. So stepping up in class, yeah,
you can't go any worse. It's getting better all the time.
It can't get much worse. As the Beatles saying, Look,
(09:50):
I'm gonna wind up being right about my analysis in
two year prediction for the Broncos, right, because what did
I tell you before the season. It's not gonna go great.
It's you're you're you're parting Russell Wilson in with the
first time head coach who's got his own system coming in.
It's not going to go well. I didn't think it
would be the disaster that it was. It was an
(10:11):
absolute disaster coming off the first you know, the first
game of the year was a disaster. We're gonna kick
a sixty three yard field well to try to win. Wait, well,
I was one of my favorite and we're in our
tenth year here together on on Fox Sports Radio. That
might be a top ten moment for me all times.
Being able to broadcast as that game was winding down.
(10:33):
It was I mean, it was just a disaster. But
I knew it was gonna be tough that first year
because they would need to figure out what kind of
quarterback is Russell Wilson away from the Seahawks. We have
to tailor the offense around him, and it doesn't work
when you have a guy who's brand new to the gig.
Now you bring in Sean Payton, who's gonna look at
the mistakes the Broncos made last year. There were so
(10:54):
many of them, and he's gonna fix it. I'm telling
you the Broncos are loaded, and I'll give you the
big bold prediction for next year. And I say this
firmly knowing that the Chiefs are gonna play in the
Super Bowl in a little bit less than two weeks.
The Broncos are going AFC West next year. The Broncos
are gonna win the They already have a great defense.
(11:15):
Sean Payton, there's a reason why they gave up a
first round pick in the second round pick to get him.
He will fix the offense. Watch Denver wins the a
F and I really I'm saying it. Watching the Chiefs
are gonna go to the Super Bowl and they're gonna
go play in ten days and it's awesome. The Chiefs
are really good. Denver wins the division next year. All right,
let's look at the odds. Let's see installed at forty
(11:36):
to one odds to win Super Bowl fifty eight following
the Peyton trade, now at twenty eight to one to
win it all. I don't have division UH stats and
and odds just yet, but we'll work to get those.
Might have to play some future bets here and UH
in short order, Smith, so we can have those tickets
(11:57):
at the ready, UH to cash in on some of
the hot prognosticating UH that you've done along the way.
See if that continues once there's you know, much more
than your name and reputation attached, something more valuable like currency.
Look what kind of big and t J like R. E.
M Saying there were strange currencies in what we're having
(12:20):
for this DJ. What's your normal what's your normal web
bat unit? Well, four big macks, whatever that cost is,
that's what we just call unit. Oh that's four big
mac duchess unit four big max. For most folks, a
unit is ten munch bucks. Hunter Bucks whatever. No for you,
it's big Max Yeah four Big Max. No. But that's
the impact that he's gonna have because the team is
(12:41):
all you. People don't understand how talented this It just
went no. Listen, Rick Brunson left. I'm done with kills
now moving on here. The Knicks are dead to him now,
so he tonight. I need a break for the no
Julius Randall and Tom Thibodeau loss of the Lakers and
Nicks didn't lose. The Knicks were great, but Julius Randol
and Tom Timidal lost. Those are the guys that lost.
(13:03):
They like you, guys lost when it went bad. You
cut these guys they lost. Did I ask you one
last question about the Broncos before from them? What did
you make of the fun and excitement of Hey, Damiko
Ryan's that last minute report that the Broncos quickly had
to point out. No, No, that never happened. Chef, Yeah,
(13:26):
get him in the cage. Did you happen? I promise
you this was our guy. We were done with Damiko Ryan. Cetch.

Nick's lose tonight, so we take care of that. Don't
talk about it ever again. We were done. Don't need
to speak out. You want to hear the final call? No,
we we don't need the final call. I don't think
we need to. I don't. I don't think it was
(15:37):
game was televised. There was no TV on it tonight. Well,
too bad, you're gonna hear it. Tell him Billy mac
Lean and the final is gonna be one twenty nine,
one twenty three, yeah, yeah, first triple double the year
for Lebron. How special a place, Madison Square. He wasn't
even hurt tonight. I want to throw up eleven and ten. Uh.
(16:01):
He now is within eighty nine points of breaking the
NBA's career scoring record Greem Abdul Jabbar thirty eight three
eight seven lebron right now at thirty eight to Uh.
This has been a night tonight in which I need
a break from the Knicks. But it's okay because boy
do we have a story coming up in a few minutes.
(16:22):
It makes me say, I don't care if that Nick's
laws like dead in a row. But one story that
we talked about Tom Brady and and the situation with
the forty Niners last night, and that I don't know
how great a fit he is in that Niners offense
because against the elite defenses, he's a statue in the
(16:42):
pocket and they have a lot of weapons, but he's
got to be able to have time to throw the
ball down the field. I don't know how well he's
gonna fit there. I think there are other fits form
with what he likes to do offensively. But that being said,
it kind of feels like Brady to the Niner is
just gonna happen, right like, you know, like there there's
(17:03):
certain stories that we do where you go you know what,
It just seems like there's so much positive momentum in
that direction right where you know, we're not gonna You're
not gonna stop it. There's nothing else that's gonna but
the last couple of days where whether it's in in
the media or you're hearing UH teammates or former teammates
talk about it, they're connecting the dots. It just seems
(17:24):
like it makes sense and that story has its own
momentum that Brady to the Niners, which is something I'm
sure they talked about a couple of years ago. It
didn't happen, And now the Niners are in a bit
of a spot because Brock Purdy is not going to
be healthy until likely August, which means Trey Lance is
gonna get all the reps all the way through the
preseason and can you trust the tray Lance is gonna
(17:44):
be good. They want to see him on the field,
but him getting hurt hurt last year was you go from, hey,
he's our future too, He's a guy that's in the mix,
right because that's where officially you are on Trey Lance.
Now I thought, hey, listen, why are you why are
you stopping progress By putting by bringing in Tom Brady
when you have Purty and Train Lance and you want
to see both of these guys play, but it doesn't
matter because that it's like, you know, trying to trying
(18:06):
to stop water from breaking on on on the on
the on the on the shore. It just feels like
there's enough desire for this. You know, that's where Brady
really wants to go. You know that that would be
a big thing that would help the forty Niners being
able to say, hey, we have Brady and then we
can figure things out with Purdy and or Tray Lance.
I just feel like that's just gonna happen now. While
(18:28):
while Vegas is probably the best landing point for him
from a from a football perspective, uh, I feel like
there's just too much happening right now and everything is
going in that direction, and they're gonna wind up signing
Tom Brady. You'll take a lower level deal, They'll give
them money they would they would normally have given a
Garoppolo this year because they're not really paying they're not
paying pretty, they're not paying Lance anymore than his rookie deal.
(18:50):
And it's just like kind of a fad, a complex
is a phrase we use on the show a lot
that that that's where it's gonna be, Like, I don't
know if it's gonna be by March. I don't know
if it's gonna before free agency. I assume it would
before free agency. But Braid to the Niners sort of
feels like it's it's a done deal without it being
done right, like that that it's done. We're just waiting
for the official word. Current betting odds the Niners a
(19:13):
slight favorite over the Raiders. We heard Leonard four Nette
put out and posture uh positive the theory that you know,
the Raiders were the likely landing spot, and I would
say from a personnel and team perspective, you know, one
thing to kind of add to the wrinkle of the
forty Niners is Trent Williams was talking about how much
(19:34):
big a pain in the acid is getting ready and
getting through a season, and that retirement might be on
the table for him. That's a that's a little thing
that that it becomes a very large thing once we
get a little further away and get into the offseason.
If he's thinking legitimately of waving goodbye because suddling your
offensive line for the notoriously immobile Tom Brady becomes a
(19:58):
much bigger issue sit That's why he would be leaving
Tampa Bay, primarily because of the personnel problems and the
inability to protect and run the football there. But for
the forty nine is and we we talked about it
a lot yesterday. Folks can find the podcast for the
full analysis and back and forth. I'll do the cliff
(20:19):
notes version here. Uh that I bought in a bit
more with what you have there. Of course, the caveat
and the thing being there is Trent Williams would be
part of that offensive line because that is not something
easy to replace. But you look at the rest of
the personnel and if you're gonna do a lot of screens,
get the receivers involved his runners, and assuming McCaffrey's upright
(20:42):
and ready to go alongside Eli Mitchell, then you've got
enough in your offensive weaponry to make life a little
easier to where Brady doesn't have to be on the
run a bunch. Something we talked about last week was
after Ran Carthon got hired by the Titans, that Trey
Lance put the fingers crossed emojis to That may not
(21:03):
mean a hell of a lot in the grand scheme.
But the potential is there in terms of trades depending
on what you'd be able to call back for him.
Because you know, if you were to rank him as
with with the incoming quarterback class based on potential and
what you remember from that single season so long ago, uh,
(21:24):
he ranks pretty highly. So maybe a project that Carthon
knowing him in San Francisco would say, all right, if
we can get this guy, we we can make him
a star in Tennessee. So maybe that alleviates some of
that log jam at the quarterback position. And then you
have smiling Jimmy Garoppolo who doesn't have a new home
(21:46):
yet just yet. Still it's because that's the domino that
has to fall on all of this. Yeah, but he
but that you talk about a fatal complete Jimmy, Jimmy
g has gone at this point, he's gone. You're gonna
bring it back up. You're gonna bring it back. You're
gonna bring back a quarterback like that. Good. Maybe maybe
this Jimmy garop below, you know what he does, he
(22:07):
can't be so mad well, he can't stay healthy, right,
he can't stay on the field, So why would you
you know the definition of insanity. I really like him,
and he wins with me when he's available. Jimmy got
when he's available, We're gonna talk about a Jimmy garop
below right now. I can't extant of the guy. Can
we get some accordion music? And and oh he's away?
(22:29):
Is he really Italian? Come on, we gotta talk about
missing in the World Cup and then we're gonna talk
about Jimmy Garoppolo. Okay, but I got that. That's just
the way, that's the way. It's part of the accent,
you know, because this is he should be a fair
Hilledelphia accent more because you're in the Super Bowl again.
But he worthy is what I'm trying to tell you. Hey,
Jimmy Garoppolo is a Socks fan. You leave him alone.
(22:52):
Uh goes for you when it comes to quarterbacks, right
because every yeah, the White Sox are gonna trade for
train lands. Uh. The this is how not only if
Brady feeling like he's going to San Francisco is a
fatal company, but look at the situation where they are.
(23:12):
They're not paying for a quarterback right now because you know,
Brady's not gonna walk in saying I need thirty I
need fifty million dollar. He's gonna take one of those
twenty million dollar deals and that's gonna be it. That
was the money you would have had earmarked for Jimmy
Garoppolo if you were bringing him back. Now, Yeah, you'd
love to be able to save some money and grant
some draft picks, But you don't know how good Brady's
(23:33):
going to be. It maybe one and done for Brady.
He wins again, he might walk away. Now, Manny, Brady
is really really good. I'm willing to believe he has
the bounce back kind of year again. I don't know
that he fits and it may wind up being kind
of ugly in San Francisco when they play a leade
defenses because he's kind of stuck in the pocket now
and he can't keep plays alive like he used to
and he's in the nfcre of them. But that's yeah, yeah,
(23:57):
that's true. But I bet you the Niners keep everybody
not Garoppolo that they go into next year and it's Brady.
Brady is the starter, and they have Purdy who is
gonna need time to get healthy because of the because
the U c L injury and Trey Lance, and they're
gonna they're gonna hedge their bets because you can have
all three guys because you brock Purdy, You're not gonna
(24:19):
money either of those guys. Yeah, these guys you're and
the cap goes up seventeen million bucks. Yeah. You you
would love to be able to say, all right, if
we can move a guy and and and and and
replace him. But Trey Lance is still on a rookie deal,
even though it's a it's a high first round rookie deal. Um,
you still eventually, at some point hopefully want to see
what he can do. And you never know if he
(24:40):
has to get pressed into service to play next year.
So if you go in with Brady and Purdy and
Lance and everybody knowing full well that okay next year.
Next year for Purdy is probably gonna be very difficult
because you know, you don't know when he's gonna really
be healthy because it's a six month three have for him,
regardless whether or not he has surgery or not. So
you're talking about taking him into the beginning of the
regular season. So that's gonna be done for Purty and
(25:04):
Lance coming back from injury okay, but can you trust
and it's hit Brady comes in, is are you gonna
trade Lance? You're gonna get anything for him? You really
not need. You get a second round pick, maybe maybe
maybe maybe a third round pick. But there's a lot
of quarterbacks out there. You've got five or six guys
that people want in the draft, and you've got five
or six guys out there in free agency. There's not
that many quarterback seats. There's not that curious to see
(25:26):
where where he would rank against the guys that are
coming in the year. Last year would have been the
year going out and say, hey, let's go this is
where because only it's Russell Wilson is changing teams and
that's it. That was the year to go to move
trade Lance. You're gonna but a Rogers and they just
walk away. I mean, you know he's doing that thing again.
It's tough. I mean, I I bet you the Niners
(25:47):
keep all three quarterbacks because they want to be set
for four and beyond Brady doesn't work. That's what we want,
beyond the quarterback. Though they've gotten one personnel move that
has to happen. They need to sell Gronkowski to come back.
Think about him and Kittle is the greatest tag team
ever assembled on a phone? Oh my god, are you kids?
These guys they would just come on and if you will,
(26:10):
they'd be laughing on the field. Do you guys want
to come to the huddle? Now? We don't need the huddle, man,
We're all what What did Gronk say? What do you
do an interview with like Jimmy Fallon saying partying made
it easier for me to be a star in the NFL,
duncan eyes, I would say partying made it easier for
me to be a star in the NFL. That's every
coach in every sport going, Oh, don't listen to Gronkowski.
(26:33):
Don't listen to Gronkowski. You need to not party and
just be all about sports to be able to succeed,
you can't party, man. But look, if that happens, great, Um.
But for Brady to come in, I mean I I
really see that. I really see that. As we're gonna
go all three guys, and you could always make a
move you have to. But if you go with Brady
(26:54):
and Purty, let's just let's say you trade Trey Linz.
You can't trade Purty because he's got no no value
with the injury, and you definitely want to hold on
him and see how special he is. So Lance is
the guy you trade. Um, you need to replace your
third tree, because if something happens with Brady, you're gonna
have to go to that guy. Would you rather go
to Train Lance or you rather go to somebody knew
you're bringing in? Would you rather bring in c. J.
Beethorn again, you know, and have to leave c J.
(27:17):
Bethers the Iowa Proud Iowa product alone. They're gonna wind
up keeping all three of those guys. And that's people
are gonna say, this could be the strongest quarterback room
in the history of the game. Tom Brady and Brock
Purty and Train Lance. You've never had a quarterback room
that strong. And I don't know why I'm sounding like
Dan Dierdorf when I say it. Jim, you didn't say
his name correctly. It's Brock Purty. Jim, Jim, Jim, Jim, Jim.
(27:43):
This is so exciting. Jim. I know, Jim, there's a
lot of que You think there's room for me there, Jim,
there's room for me, Jim, Jim, this is so exciting.
Jim out there a couple of years ago where there
was the hope that Romo would show back up on
a sideline in Dallas or somewhere else. Right now CBS
is hoping, Hey, Tony, I just want to ask, hey, listen,
(28:05):
great season as always, Just um, any chance you go
back to the NFL, because we look, we'd hate to
lose you, but if it happened, we would understand. Oh no,
no one's calling. But do you think what will your age?
Is he gonna be calling people that song? I know
there's a lot of quarterbacks about no, you know, Okay,
all right, okay, all I just I just wanted to ask, hey, guys,
that's a bust. Romo's not going back to the NFL.
(28:27):
We gotta keep paying the gun. What do you got
for us? Remember that one time that you weren't allowed
to go to Vegas with Romo? Yeah? Yeah, I think
about how long and short the time has passed between
that and now where we are with gambling in the NFL.
(28:50):
Tony Romo joined Twitter just to promote fantasy football, and
then he could he couldn't do it, And now it's like, yeah,
here's the line, here's the in game wage Right now,
We're for Jim. Jim, Jim, did you bet the over?

the Lakers tonight. He as bad if Frostburg would if
you just block his number. No, he's gonna wear it.
He's producing the show. I can't by, can't by. He's
wearing the full wardrobe tonight. Kind of hard. Just remember
I was I was nice to you the end of
the Chargers season. I didn't bring up we talked about this.
(30:00):
The wound is still fresh, takes weeks to heal, but
lots of glug. Look the big the big glug. Oh,
by the way, Harmon, Pam, Pam finished the entire glug
all by yourself. So I barely got data refill. Yeah,
I barely got any like the glu. She was like,
what's she goes, what's this scenario? It's Harmon? She's, oh great,
(30:22):
she opens up. I go, it's one thirty in the
afternoon because I bust hey day drinking with some glug.
Come on, Smith, No, it's it's good that I have
some extra Harmon reserves. Certain light, it's it's one third.
You're operating heavy machinery in an hour. No, but I
(30:44):
love the glug. I just gotta have the glug. Gotta
have it the Nick. The Knicks can lose ten twenty
games in a row if this happens. This report out
of The New York Post earlier today that, according to
MLB sources, the Mets are set to make quote an
insane offer on show Hey O Tanni for next season shoes. Yeah, hey,
(31:09):
now you know show Tony's a good dude because he
wears New Balances. Guys are basically family brothers. Yeah exactly, man, dude,
I should go to all Angels games this season wearing
a Mets jersey and my New Balance sneakers, going show, Hey,
come home, come home, but I'm not from there. Balance
shoes look at me for us to do the show there,
(31:30):
that's for damn sure. Oh you we have plenty of you, kid,
we have let's go. Yeah, Oh man, can look like
at me new Balance mets. Come on, come on, just come.
It's gonna be fantasts. I think it's gonna be great.
And I throw like fake money at him on the
field like like like um uh vi on the tuxedo.
(31:52):
I like it. I go to every game and do that.
Oh man, your eyes would bleed if you went to
every Angel game. Come on and you can. Yeah. I
would have Jersey Mike's every single night. I'd go to.
I'd go and I'd order from my seat. I would
say another Jersey Mike said, please the regular Jason number seven. Yep.
Turkey and probably Jersey Mikes is terrific. Man. Every night
(32:14):
I can eat Jersey. Do you see? The thing is
certainly like chicken and turkey I could eat every day.
I immediately decision, I can eat chicken. Now I have
to eat less meat, and I eat less meat and
more and more grains and more different thing. They don't
as much meat as I used to. But boy, chicken
and turkey. I could eat that every day. Well, we
know by the consumption of the other fast food joint,
(32:35):
not a sponsor, that the meat consumption is now. I
want a number. So I just watch them slice that
cheese and put it on. I say, extra cheese. I
go do a full Danny DeVito where you're salivating here,
listen to sis. Yeah, that's a kind of odd comer.
Notice how those commercials have disappeared. I think they went
(32:57):
on there like they got they got really weird. Well
they got from the East in the playoff games by
co Gaine Bear. Yeah, these are really weird. HeSE these
converse Danny. I don't know. Listen, pay Danny what we said,
We're gonna pay him. Let's cut some new commercials. Let
let's have some new ones out there. I don't know,
you could hear the meat still sizzle. I just I'm expecting,
(33:18):
like to see Mac and and Dennis and and Sweet
d come out at the end. Hey Mac, you see this,
Look at it? Hey Charlie, Charlie, look this meat just sizzles. Yeah,
you know, Frank, I got I killed that Uh I
killed that bird outside you mean the rooster that was
hanging out in the back of the alley. Yeah, yeah, no,
I killed that, so I brought it up, and I
haven't make a sandwich for you, and I'm putting extra
(33:38):
feathers in there for you. Charlie, You're the best. Now,
he just came up with a plot line for It's
always sunny season like forty seven. There's there's gotta be
a Super Bowl had From there, you would think we're
kind of take that de Vito character he's established in
those commercials and taking a bit further, say in Jersey
(34:00):
Mike's daytime on a Wednesday. Um, but let me let
me just say this, sho hey, Otani's gonna get an
unbelievable contract from the according to the with the New
York Post says it, it's either the Mets are gonna
sign him or to that kind of deal that could
be a five hundred million dollar cock could be a
fifty million dollar a year contract ten years, five hundred million,
(34:21):
or somebody else who wants him will give him that
money after the Mets put it out there, and that's
where he's gonna wind up going. So he's gonna get
that kind of deal. But man, if the Mets go
out and get Ghetto tanih Yeah, yeah, Nick's can lose
thirty games in a row. The Jets can come the
Jets can come back with Zach Wilson for the next
five years and say we have an extension that makes
him a Jet for life. If the Mets go gett Otani. No,
(34:44):
that's good, but you're burying the lead. What about McNeil
not getting his car from Lindore yet? Well, listen, no, no,
I mean that's just right now. I think the lead
is Charlie killing a rooster in the alley and making
and making a sandwich with it for Frank. You know,
I made sure to put the beacon there for you, Frank. Yeah, Charlie,
that's good because the beak an's a crunch to it.
(35:04):
I watched that on the On the Cooking Shows, guy
Fierry always says, hey, I need some crunch in a
different little texture to this, So you put the beacon there.
I just crunched down on it. Tastes pretty good, damn.
In fact, let me get some more hot sauce and
throw that chased him down like Philadelphia's own. Right. Oh man,
(35:24):
I don't you know. Here's the thing I don't know
if Otani and Jersey mikes and it's always sunny work,
But I don't care because that was fun. That was
a pretty good uh, I don't know, but it was
fun mand going on with three uh three things. But
but it rooster beak on again. Thanks Charlie. I'll bring
it back and I'll put it in the bed too. Uh.
(35:47):
Coming up next, we'll get back into the biggest story
of the night. This is Fox Sports Radio.
