dot com the way tire buying should be. Now. I
ask you this, Steve, because because you know now, you
know Aaron Rodgers obviously continuing to own the new cycle
and the Jets meeting with him, the Jets met with
the packers. You know, he really wants to own the
news cycle and we could see this happening. He should
just tune into selection Sunday. Greg Gumble's about to actually

(01:08):
not say hello, but give the bracket. And you hear
him say so fairly Dickinson. Oh wait, there's breaking news
from the NFL. And then Clark Kellogg gives his opinion
on the football, and then they'd never get the bracket
in in time by the time that shows over. That's
how he overtakes things. So the three fourteen fairly Dickinson,
this is fairly Wait what wait? What's this is fairly important? Wait?

(01:31):
What's going on here? Aaron Rodgers is a Jet Clark
Kellogg analysis Sancy Avis didn't see this coming. Hell, I
thought he'd got to Duke Seth. Did you ever see
Aaron Rodgers invading the bracket show? Yes? I did see
right here. I had it right here. I had him
breaking up the show when we were talking about the
eight nine game in the Southeast Region. In fairness, Aaron

(01:52):
Rodgers for the rest of his career is more of
an eight seed. Oh yeah, but see, Zach Wilson's like
a sixteen. No, Zach Wilson's like a play in six team.
Not to the sixties. I'm playing sixteen. But with the
news today of Rogers of the Jets, feeling more optimistic
they're going to get him, and some reports that potentially
the Jets and the Packers have agreed on compensation and

(02:13):
they're waiting for Rogers to say yes. Do you think
that Rogers and Brady are like talking with each other
going okay, so you know I might have to go
to the Jets here. You know, I know I saw
that congratulations You're gonna keep that money. Yeah, I'm gonna
keep the money. All right. Great, you just implied that
Aaron Rodgers would be speaking to a contemporary. Well, well, well,
because he might have, because he has to, because he
understands it. You know, I think we I think we

(02:35):
both want to be able to have our moment in
the suns here. So Tom, Tom, what about you? Are
you close to coming back? Well, you know, I'm kind
of close, and I'm thinking about the Dolphins and yeah,
but you filed your papers. Yeah, but I can still
come back. That doesn't matter. Okay, So when do you
think you're gonna say something? Well I was going to
ask you, when do you think you're gonna say something?
You don't hold all the current ter and I don't

(02:57):
want to do it on the same day as you.
I don't want to set the Hall of Fame thing
you've talked about. It's like, yeah, I want to be
in the same class and just I'll be invisible on
the stage that night. But it's also really of the
two things. Rogers would probably get more coverage because we've
seen Brady retire and un retire before, we've seen now
you've not seen Rogers get traded, So Rodgers would be

(03:20):
the one. If that conversation ever happened. Tom Brady's response
would be, I can't hear you. I have my seven
Super Bowl rittens in my ears. So I'm thinking Friday,
what do you think Monday? Well, how about you go
on Friday and I go on Monday. How would that sound? Okay? See,
how could I How could I win? If you win?

(03:41):
You see what I'm saying there? You see you will
say Aaron, you will give you ten twenty five Eastern
time on Monday. After that, the rest of the day
is mine. Yeah, I'm gonna have a I'm gonna have
a social media message to go out at three forty
five to get both the travelers commuting on the East
coast and people hitting the early commune on the West coast.

(04:03):
So yes, you can have the four hours before that.
Jim Gray doesn't wake up that early, so really you
can have the earlier slot. And then I've got my mouthpiece,
or you have Jim or Brady gets really mad because
Aaron Rodgers books to go on with Jim Gray instead.
He's like, wait a minute, why why am I not
on this? Sorry? Yeah, Aaron got to happen, absolutely so,

(04:25):
and you get here. Jim Gray all nervous, Aaron, So
what's what's what's happening? Yeah? And then Aaron asked, Jim Gray,
have you always bitten your nails? No? Just nervous for this.
I mean, I do this thing with Brady. It's like
the only thing I do anymore. And I you know,
except a star on the Walk of Fame. Did you hear?
I have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,
Jim star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. If you

(04:46):
pay for it, you got it. Well, it's ten grand
to pay, but you need more than that. No, no,
but you need to pay for it and be spike.
You have to get enough. I think it's like this.
To get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,
you have to pay a certain amount of money. But
they have to nominate you like dominated and you have
to get signatures. So it's kind of like you need
a certain number of structures from people to go on. Yeah,

(05:06):
years ago. I think this happened over a decade ago,
maybe two decades. Jim Gray's gotta start them. I didn't
know he's gonna start in the Walk of Fame. Yeah,
I've walked by there so many times. Well, it's a
long street, Hollywood boulevards. It is a lot, it is.
It is a long street. It is. But like because
I would go with Zoe and she likes seeing you know,
movie stars that she's heard of and everything else. But
I don't know how far do I have to go
to get to Jim Gray? Like do I have to
go have to go maybe West Hollywood? Yeah, how how far?

(05:30):
How far east do I have to go to? I
have to like get out and get out into like
put this away. I don't think they got a crowbar
out and took tom Cruises away, you know. I think
some spots are kind of there, you know, all right, Okay,
I just wanted to make sure. I don't know how far,
but yeah, people realize Gray one, Oh they have their
own Walk of Fame actually in front of MGM. But yeah,

(05:50):
people don't realize you have to actually pay for it
because there's maintenance involved. Yeah, it's uh, you know, because
you can't just you have to you know, you have
to plea you got to do all that stuff. But
that is a thing now because no matter how far
we keep going, we can't get away from the Tom
Brady is going to return to play in the NFL rumor.

(06:10):
It just won't die, and it's gathering steam. It's his fault.
It's of course it is. Of course it is. And
the latest of it was earlier today when former Patriots
quarterback Scott Zolak, who who's an analyst for him as well,
when on ninety eight five the Sports Hub and talked
about how, hey, a lot of things are happening and
Brady could be coming back and I know that there's

(06:31):
interest with the Dolphins, and he goes on a whole
big thing. But then he says something really interesting. All right, now,
this whole rant from Scott Zolak was about a minute
or so long. Why are you doing this? Why Brady?
Why this? Why this? But then he gets into a
couple of really interesting things because he's trying to connect
the dots between Brady and the Miami Dolphins. I know
his handlers have moved to Miami. It's it's built for him.

(06:57):
He was looking at private schools for his kids, and
Coward talks about the San Francistico offense. So there it is.
He wouldn't make the first celebrity wanting to live in
South Florida. Just the record, No, no, no, And then
the whole thing, the sound bite there at the end
was was about the San Francisco offins. It's not in
San Francisco, it's San francioffin's run out of Miami and
McDaniel his handlers have moved to Miami, and he's looking

(07:20):
at private schools. There continues to be these hints that
are dropped that Brady is coming back. And this is
why I tell you, Look, there's nobody's been able to
read what's going on with Brady better than I have
the last couple of years, because Brady drops clues and
you just don't People just don't get them right. And
I don't mean that. Jim Beheim, Hey, I retired a

(07:41):
few days ago and nobody saw it. No. Yeah, you're
the one that's clueless. Yeah, Brady drops clues and it's
just up to us to follow them because it's not
like he tries to hide what's going on. Right, Just
think about this. Why Brady returning? And I'll tell you
exactly how we can come back follow me because I've
been right about it all. So we're looking for the
popcorn on the round like the Brady Bunch episode in

(08:03):
they found him and Vincent Price. Oh that's right, the
kids were lost on vacation, right, Like, he's not starting
at Fox until twenty twenty four. Why right? I feel
like good? Yeah, I feel like the Brian Winhorse team.
Now why is this happening? Right? Why does this that? Like? Why?
Why why not start this year? You needn't you need
a year to get good? Really, you're gonna study and

(08:23):
go through it. You're gonna watch Tony Romo go Jim
Jim Jim Chips Jim Jim Chet's the answer. Yeah, And
he doesn't want to become that is Brady gonna practice.
Kevin Kevin Kevin Kevin for Kevin Burkhard Kevin Kevin, Kevin,
kay keV keV keV Hey ky Man Hey Special Kay
hey kay kay okay, hey hey hey delivery k hey
hey especially hey hey ka kay keV keV hey kef

(08:43):
kef get bad? Get bad? He can actually try and
learn the craft, right. Why is he not starting until
twenty twenty four because he wants to play? Why did
Tom Brady retire on a beach on a weekday morning?
Why don't random at Why why did he do that?
Why do you? Oh, you only get one retirement. Didn't
really have that, didn't have one bigger? Didn't have you
didn't you didn't go and have a big retirement ceremony

(09:06):
and have people bringing you stuff and it. What do
you mean you only get one and you retire on
a week day in the morning. Why is that? If
you're really retired, that's how you retire. No, when he's
asked about retirement questions now, he still evades them because
all you'd have to do is say, guys, I'm retired.
That's it. I'm not doing it. You've had these rumors
come out the last couple of days, and how did
Brady respond to it? Guys? How do I have time

(09:27):
for football when I just adopted this sweet kitten, like, hey, look,
don't pay attention to this kitten, don't worry about me
trying to figure out my way back to the NFL.
Like all he's got to do is say, guys, I'm done.
I'm absolutely done, and nobody will it's over. But he
won't do it because he still wants to play. He
wants to do it if the opportunity is there, but

(09:47):
he's learned from last time that it might not be.
And this is the genius of Brady when you now
take everything into account, all the clues that he's dropped.
This is how to make sense of Brady's come back plan.
Why tire when he did right? He saw what happened
the last time he was going to change teams. He thought,
I can go anywhere I want to, right, coming off
the Patriots, my Hall of Fame career, and who do

(10:09):
you have his suitors? The charges were in it a
little bit and Tampa Bay. Now he got lucky, went
to Tampa Bay. They were ready to go and won
the Super Bowl, went back to the playoffs a year after.
But he thought, I'm gonna go anywhere I want to.
I can go to Miami, I can go here, go
And it was suddenly two teams, so oh boy, he
remembers that. So he wasn't gonna stand around in the
whole off season waiting to make his decision and make

(10:32):
it seem like nobody wants you, so I have to retire,
just like Aaron Rodgers. He wants to seize control of
the moment, and I'm not going to be the guy
that sits out there. There's no news about Brady. Hey,
don't keep asking me. Don't keep asking me. No, he
makes decision to retire right away, knowing full well, Hey,
I retired last year, and so if I come out
of retirement again, what are people gonna say? Right now,

(10:55):
it's my thing. No one's talking about far retiring and
every time. Now it's my thing that I'm retiring, and
I'm and it's a fun thing for the rest of
my career. He's retired before. Yeah, I've retired before and
I've come back, so people know that's going to happen.
He can do it again. And this is where the
best part is. If the interest is there from another team,
whether it's Miami or somebody else, come out of retirement

(11:17):
and I play. If not, I stay retired, and there's
no harm done to my reputation. No one says ah Brady.
Look look at Brady. He was waiting to hang out
there and nobody wanted him. The Texans didn't want him.
None of the bottom feeders wanted him. The Lions didn't
want him. Look that, the Jets didn't even want him.
And it'll love to have him. No, he retires right

(11:38):
away to control the narrative of I'm retired and if
something comes up and he can't strike a deal with
the team, guys, I'm retired. I don't know what's going
on here. I told you I was retired. Here I am.
Here's Pierre's cat videos. Well, I don't know what you
want for me. But if it comes out and I
can go play and Miami's ready for me and they
want to move to a I can come out of retirement.
Do it. He files retirement papers. That does not stop

(12:00):
from coming back playing this year. Nothing stops what we're
doing that you can come back and still play. So
this is how you know it's still there, And this
is how Brady does it. He's always wanted to continue
to potentially play. He just wanted to control the narrative
just in case the interest level in him is low.
Because he saw it last year and now maybe this
time the interest level could be even a little bit
lower because he's not coming off a great careers, coming

(12:22):
off a down here, or people are wondering, Ah, do
I still have it? Do I not? I'm not sure
the team he controls it all. I see the logic
in some of this, and yes he is because he's
Tom Brady in a position to look around and say, man,
who could make the playoffs with me as quarterback? And yeah,
it seems like he would be an improvement for starters.
He actually plays most every game every year his whole

(12:45):
long career. But I do believe that he's done. And
it's not because he was bad. Last year. He started
every game and was still single digits in interceptions last year.
Tom Brady can still play foot. He had his passing
yards per game about two seventy five game. That's the
kind of number he had four or five years ago

(13:06):
with New England. I just don't see him being with
one team for twenty years and then three teams in
the last five years. Yeah, but this is also it's
also a new age. It's a new time in the
NFL where everything he does, you know, sets a new trend.
Or does something new. Yeah, I go to two different
teams here at the end, I go from Tampa Bay,
I go someplace else. People don't care about that. Look

(13:27):
at Lebron, Lebron. Lebron's Lebron's on his third team actually
four account going back to the Cavaliers and leaving, and
he may not even finish with the Lakers. Maybe he
goes back to Cleveland at the end and plays with
Brawny for a year. But that's not the last fie, right,
But it's still but it's still just changing to you know,
just because he's changing teams, don't you don't always have
to do it at the very end, like like Shack

(13:47):
did that at the end of thing. He changed teams
every eight games. But it's not that it's not as
big as stigma anymore to somebody, because Brady went to
the Bucks and he won the Super Bowl, So now
he would go someplace else well with a good defense.
Right if he had gone to the Bucks and the
Bucks had underachieved and Brady was good, would be boy
here he is just trying to keep it going, right
that good times were over with with New England. He

(14:08):
went to Tampa. It didn't work. Now, he's gonna try
someplace else instead. It's oh, hey, wait the magic magic
fairy dust worked with the with the Patriots for about
twenty years, work with the Bucks for a couple of years. Now,
it may work with us. It's it's a little bit
different because he won the Super Bowl. I just I
just don't see him still playing. It's not that you're right,
he can un retire, and you're right, he can pick

(14:29):
another team, and yes, Miami is a possibility if he's
picking another team. But a person looking at schools for
his kid in the state of Florida doesn't mean he's
gonna play in that part of the state of Florida
doesn't mean he's going to play. All the other clues
not starting Fox, Why is that? I really if I
feel like Brian because he's never done this before, that's

(14:50):
a smart move. He should be applauded for that. Why
is this? Why is the oppos Why is this? Why
is this? Twitter? At? How about a friend? Uska The

(15:53):
don't notice tishit that you play this song just a
little bit louder than all the other songs. And I
gotta talk right bad to talk it's greatness. It's not
a great song. What did you just say? It's not
there we go You wear it well though it's not.
That's a different song. You wear it well as you
wear elder bars, just like the Kings are wearing the
knicks right now. It's here? Is that you just said

(16:15):
that's not a great song, even though it's been on
the radio for you exactly. Okay, it's an okay song.
Tight shirt, tight shirts of the opinion of all time.
I don't play okay songs on repeat for forty years.
They play okay songs on the radio all the time,
are you kid? It's a great song. There's a station
that plays the Chargers theme song all the time. Sorry,

(16:36):
that's a good song. Of course, nobody plays anymore because
it says San Diego in it. Sandy, I used to
love that one three years in a row six and ten.
When the hell are we gonna win again? That one?
That was it, right, Steve on the only one's roaring
where the cheerleaders scoring or something came out during the
air Core Yell day. Whenever the Chargers on primetime and

(17:00):
when there would be you know, they would always play
the late game and the highlight would be one of
the last ones that that aired in primetime, and it
would be like if the Charges were coming back there
behind the game in Burmo. Just would sit there and
just start singing the song Sandy Goo super Charger's stand
hup Freights and it's complete Sandy. But he's a closet
Charger fan. But he's a Charger fan. Yeah. He picks

(17:22):
the Bills in the Niners every year at Super Bowl
seventy seven Bills and the Chargers. It's gonna have the
Toronto Bills against the greater Inland Empire Chargers who have
moved once again. He kept picking nineris because he wants
to keep showing that clip of him on the field
in San Francisco game. Okay, we got it forty years ago,

(17:45):
crying out loud. But the guy built sports sooner he did,
did I That doesn't mean, that doesn't mean. Okay, and
now you're on streaming, what are you saying? Go super
Now I want to think about this for a second.
Now I have something to you to think about. You
asked me to keep refreshing, right, Oh yeah, yeah, oh yeah?
You have any Aaron Rodgers is there? Aaron Robinson is

(18:06):
the latest thing that refreshed Long time ABA reporter Mark Spears,
Nick say Jalen Brunson will not return to tonight's game
due to a sore foot. He's got nineteen and halftime.
We're getting killed. Down by nineteen. No, we're down by sixteen. Oh,
he's the only guy having a big night. Right now
it's over. That's enough. There goes the next season. Now

(18:29):
Julius Randall is hurt. Well, this just means more minutes
for Emmanuel quickly, that's all we need. He's got no
points and bruns he's gonna finish. No, but that means
quickly we'll get Brunson's minutes at guard. But the season's over.
But I think the sentence you said was Randall's hurt.
We're not saying that. No, no, no, Brunson hurt. Quickly listen,
don't say don't don't put that out there? That do
you put that out there? Oh? You put it? Just

(18:50):
didn't understand. I said, quickly is gonna get Brunson's minutes.
Steve gave you a real update and you're making up stuff.
Now that's hap sad ye super charge. Now that's Hall
of Famer done. Cooreel. You're referencing the agent that is
Air Cooreel. I loved Air Korey. It is one of
the best offense. Is still that I've ever seen in
the NFL. Oh, and they couldn't win a Super Bowl? Correct? Amazing?

(19:11):
They were kept drafting offense and not defense, undering what
an offense is. They were ahead of their time. And
I'm saying good things about the Chargers Frostburg so blank
you they were ahead of their time by years and
they couldn't win a Super Bowl. Yeah, they had a
chance to draft flight Mike Singletary, they just kept drafting offense. Hey, wait,
we gotta play in Cincinnati in the AFC Championship game,
isn't it minus fifty? Yep? Gotta go play that game.

(19:34):
Football is going to be like a rock. We're not
going to be able to do anything, all right, I
guess we'll play it. But I was thinking about this
right now because I just got to this point. Not
that it's about me, but I think about this. Is that, No,
it's about you? No? No? Did I have to lose
Beheim to get Aaron Rodgers? What do you get about?

(19:57):
Is this like a fan o Soulstone thing? Like you know,
Nannos had to say goodbye to what he loved the most.
He pushed Gomra off the cliff to get the soul
Stone so he could spoil The last time I checked,
Aaron Rodgers is not a Jet, correct? Right? That is correct? Okay,
but it's it's close. The Jets are though the Jets
say there are. It's growing up, and you're gonna believe
the Jets, really believe the Jets. There are reports that

(20:19):
the Jets and the Packers have agreed on compensation. They're
waiting for Rogers to say yes. It's as close as
not going to say yes. So but just as before,
he's got to pull the trigger. Right, But did did
I have to lose Beheim to get Rogers? Because Thanos
had to push Gomra off the cliff and then he
got the soul stone again, dude? Then then then millions,

(20:40):
Then the red Skull came down and gave him the
you know, and gave him the soul stone. He left
the matrix and he gave him the soul stone? So
is that what? Like? Did I have to lose Beheim?
And now the path is clear for Aaron Rodgers? Well,
first and foremost, in and of itself, Syracuse is all
the better for quote losing Beheim? Are are you getting one? Yeah?
That's right? Getting you? You're not? Okay? Maybe they're not.

(21:01):
Maybe they're not fed, not getting you bad, going the
Big East, bad, last couple of days for the Big East.
Bai gets pushed out in you and gets fired. That's
a bad day right there. You you agree, You've talked
about Syracuse before. It's been a long time coming down.
It's sad and and I'm optimistic really, like I said,

(21:24):
that's sad at this. No, it's sad. No, you know
what's it's like. It's this with Aaron Rodgers kid took
place every offseason for another four years. It's just and
then he finally retired. It wouldn't be sad at that. Okay, No,
that's nut said. What's sad is the way it was
handled for a guy that's got a career we're never
going to see again. No, that is only one championship
one and that's one. You're where'd you go to school?

(21:45):
For part of that reason? But didn't you go to
the DeVry Institute of Technology, Frostburg. You didn't been a
tournament You're made one? What's said? Because we're never going
to see a guy have that career again. It's a
Trump University. Didn't he play for Trump University? Because nobody's
gonna let mediocracy just so tired of winning. They won
so much they got tired of it. Okay, he was

(22:06):
on the bumper stickers. Yeah, yeah, but it is no
but the way the way it went down is awful
for a guy of that stature to be pushed out
to say I retired, but then I didn't retire. Do
you want to come back? I didn't say that. In
the same day that Beheim gets pushed out, they announced
the next head coach. You couldn't wait a day for it.
It's just awful. It's just awful that after forty seven years,

(22:27):
this is how it goes down between the brass at
Syracuse and the chancellor and Beheim. It's just so it's
just so sad. This is so upset. This is that's
how it went down there in the least. This isn't
the Penn State situation. But I will say, what goes
around comes around. If you've just been a nicer guy
in so many instances where it wouldn't have killed you

(22:47):
to be so, maybe you wouldn't have ended like this.
So yeah, he had the interview last night. We played
back when he came on for my birthday and he
was incredibly nice. He made fun of Jason. Okay, what
about the rest of the country that did not attend
Syracuse University. Hey, Beyheim was the rock star of rock
star head coaches in college basketball. Really more than coach K. Well, well,

(23:10):
coach k is not. It's not coaching anymore, and its
Beheim coaching anymore. No, but Behem. He was Beheim Beeheim
and Mike Shashevsky and for a little Beam's been an
afterthought for years. He's not a rock star in twenty
twenty three. If you said to any college basketball fan
his recruits weren't born the last time he won the title,

(23:31):
it sets many. You know, how many guys have won
the title in the last fifteen year, Not that many.
He's not a rock star. Yes, of course, he's a
rock star nationally way you know, watch his heads. Here's
how I proved my point. If you asked any college
basketball football fans say, okay, who's your head coach, they
say the name of their head coach. Who's give me
a name of another head coach in college basketball. Beheim's

(23:52):
the first name. Though it's not sure, it is sure.
It is to you, Wow, it's to anybody, any everybody
knows Beheim. Everybody knows them. They know Funny does they
had a little buddy type. They know, of course they
know Beey Hunt. He was the big he was for
a long time. It was him and Schevski and Calipari.
They were the guys that pushed college basketball bands thousand wins.

(24:14):
He was the guy always a coach for forty seven years. Yeah,
because when you win for forty seven years, it's okay,
the last decade not that great, but the thirty seven
before we're pretty good. Then we still had we still
had two final fours in the last decade. Just you know,
nothing in the last seven and five final fours in
forty seven years is not good. Yeah, that's that's five
more than than lots of people. That's five more than
lots of people. That's what the banners should say. Five

(24:36):
more than lots of people. I mean, all of a
suddenly you know he's got the second most wins ever,
five finals. He has been hip and you don't get
to coach if you stink. What do you think? What
do you think? This is the Jets. They just let
anybody coach for as long as they want to. Come on, Man,
you gotta win games if you're gonna stay coach. One
thing that I've brought up before for people to don't

(24:58):
realize how long Jim Beheim was at Syracuse. If you
look at the film of the final four of literally
John Wooden's last game, right it was, it was literal film.
Video hadn't been created yet, that's how old it was.
The nineteen seventy five final four included. You can see
Jim Beheim at a sex on the Syracuse bench the

(25:22):
same weekend, the same final four in San Diego, where
John Wooden was still an active coach. That's forty seventy
years my entire. I was five years old and Syracuse
hired Jim Beheim to be their head coach, and you
got one title out of it. He was a legend
when I got there in nineteen eighty eight, and he
was I'd only been there for twelve years. This is

(25:42):
thirty five years later. Man, I mean, come on, the
guy's been there for the he's been a high profile
coach for that. Absolutely, it's been a high profile coach.
He is a local legend. But to say in twenty
twenty three matches a rock star is ridiculous. He is.
Why was his retirement front page news yesterday? Has half
the people that work at the channel that's also in

(26:03):
the state of New York also went to Syracuse. Every
dull stop. Everybody knows. Everybody knows Bye. I'm sorry, but
everybody knows beyond everybody does the average basketball fans, Hey,
who's the head coach of Syricus? Jim Bam? Who's that
coach in UCLA? Um? Steve still there? Leavin's still there? Right?
Your definition of rock star is Walt Hazard. It's a
good thing. You're just saying how long you're around He's

(26:26):
some rock star means you're still rocking it, not that
you are limping to the finish line, which is what
he did in his career. Of all this says, it's
just University Syracuses in a sport in which has become
a one month a year sport. Bayheim was the guy
that continued to make headlines throughout the year, saying things,
saying things after games, and he was someone that you

(26:50):
always He stirred the pot for drinks started. He stirred
the drink. He stirred the pot. He was everything I mean.
No Mischewsky never said anything. Calipari once in a while
would say something coach, whether it was whether it was
why are we playing the ACC Championship in Greensboro, whether
it's Wake Forrest is paying for all their players, all
these things. This is by this Beheim's the guy saying this,

(27:13):
all right, he that's a rock star head coach college
would people know who you are in college basketball because
of what you say? And a rock star head coach
is not ten and ten in conference for ten stirent years.
That's not a rock star. That's it. Listen, they they
haven't played well, but it doesn't diminish his accomplishments and

(27:33):
his stack. He's had a superb career and he's a
local legend and always will be. I mean that always.
But to say in twenty twenty three is he's a
national rock Star's rock star, national rock star. Okay, this
is from the same voice who's talking about the Jets
swinning the Super Bowl VII. Listen, Guns and Roses is
from Indiana. They're not an Indiana band, and everybody knows,

(27:54):
the whole world knows Guns and Roll because they're actually good,
not just Indiana. Not what Frostburg you you your college has.
I don't even think your college has at this hands
nothing to do with me. I don't think it's personal.
Syco as good good. The Chets are no good, the
Mets are no good, the Knicks are no good. Have

(28:17):
you got to have something? Next? Score? And how Steve?
What's the score? Yeah, well, so they're not very good.
I'm just saying when you go eighteen and fourteen or
even twenty and fourteen, you get six absolute gimme wins
at the beginning of the season. So you're a five
hundred club, including the ten and ten in conference, which
is pretty much every year for the last decade for Syracuse. Okay,

(28:37):
first of all, we're not going to watch trending till
the Knicks make the game closer. Number two, well, we're
never going to trend him. We still how many teams
have two Final fours in the last ten years? How
many we have two? Yeah, we have two? Well back
the last ten years. How rock stars? Pretty go? When
the Marlins won two World Series they were the rock
stars in Major League? Well, how many years apart? It

(29:00):
was seven years apart for them. Yeah, it's two in
ten years. The Marlins are not the rock Stars at
any point in their history, bigger rock stars because baseball
was a bigger sport that was much bigger than had
more stars in college basketball doesn't have that many stars, Steve,
That's my point. It's not that Beeheim is as far
and above the madding crowd of Hey, there's all these

(29:20):
huge guys coast to coast. Everybody knows there's guys. Nobody
knows there's guys. Nobody, no, no, anybody, Yeah you Hey, Gonzaga,
Mark Few, I think now is the second highest most
tenured coach or third most highed tenure coach behind Tom Izzo.
Nobody knows him, Nobody knows what he does. Mark Gonzaga
head coach, Mark Few. That's great. Huggins is rot than behem. No,

(29:41):
but come on, he hasn't made news in like ten years,
Bob Huggins, Come on, Bill, this is the sport. This
is well. Come on, Patino's coaching Iona. He's he's coaching Iona.
I don't even think they play in a gym. I
think they play him. I think they play on the
I think they play in the street, the blacktop. Really, hey,

(30:02):
big crowd here at the schoolyard today and literally is
a school yard and everybody's standing waiting for sixth period.
The bake sale will be after school. Then, now that
Iona has a game, everybody wave high to Rick Pattino
is coming on here coaching. Yeah, you know, listen, I
try to make this go as long as I could.

(30:24):
It's not getting better for the nick, so Steve, go ahead.
What's trending? Well, Julius Randall's still on the floor, so
we got good news. The rest of it's not not
lying on the floor. He's not so much yeah, standing
like walking out playing all right, Yeah, but walking and playing,
that's good. Be sure to catch live editions of The

Progressive dot Com. Kevin Durant the pregame slip scene around
the world, is now going to keep him out for
at least two to three weeks, potentially three weeks on
the outside, according to ESPN agent Rol Zarowski. You've seen
the video. He was just doing some drills before the game,

(31:30):
went in for a layup, slipped and fell, and now
this ankle injury is going to keep him out for
two to three weeks. If you're that guy with the
blue broom, Steve, because it's your jobbing it out there
and makes sense, I mean really that, I mean, this
is on you. This is your fault. Maybe he's not
thinking pregame, but yeah, that is the whole part of
the thing. You're protecting the athletes, right pregame or not.

(31:51):
By the way, we can update the timeline that Suns
themselves say tonight he won't even be reevaluated until three weeks.
So the Lakers are going to take their spot. I
love it sprained ankle at least three weeks out. The
Lakers are gonna wind up. There's a two seat at
this rate with everybody. John Rant can't play, Kevin Durant
can't play, The Clippers can't get it right. They keep

(32:12):
playing Russell Westbrook, the Lakers guard. But the Lakers are
bleeping back. I'm telling you my TV show, The Lakers
Are Back. It's it's a it's a home run idea.
But I'm gonna say something now that's gonna sound whoa,
And then you're gonna realize that yeah, and you can
realize what a big deal this is. Nah stop, We'll

(32:35):
get to Brady Letter, Kevin Durant, Lebron James, and Zion
Williamson walking to a bar. Kevin Durant, Kevin Durant, Lebron James,
and Zion Williams. So you got a foot and ankle
and a hamstring. Sure, it's so you do the hokey
pokey and you turn Kevin Durant, Lebron James, Zion Williamson.

(33:03):
Three stars that you cannot depend on ever again in
the NBA. You cannot depend on them to play. Anything
you get from them is a bonus. You can't build
a team around them, you can't build next year around them.
You can't build anything other than hopefully the guy plays,
and it's a bonus when he does. And when you
can't count on guys like that, are they really worth having?

(33:24):
Think about it? Because Kevin Durant, you can't You can't
count on him to stay healthy anymore. Not. This last
night is an example of that. Doesn't matter. The guy's
out three weeks. He's slipped and he slipped going in
for a layup, and he's out for three weeks. Yeah,
but his last two injured for three somebody came into
him during a game on a court. Anybody's knee would
have been hurt. And then anybody you hit that spot
on the court would have slipped and been hurt. But

(33:45):
you also have an achilles injury that he's had. He's
having trouble staying on the court, right, But these last
two anybody could have gotten the same engine. But but
but I don't know. Would somebody's slip and fall and
be out and be out for three weeks? Kevin Durant,
Kevin Durant, the side of your going hit the wood? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
Anthony Davis, No, he would be. But whatever, however you
cut it up. Kat can't stay in the lineup anymore.

(34:07):
Lebron James can't stay in the lineup anymore for the Lakers.
Zion Williamson can't stay in the lineup for the Pelicans.
He's twenty three years old. You can't count on them.
They're not going to suddenly start getting better and getting healthier.
And hey, now Katie's gonna play. Already, NBA stars play
less games than anybody else. If you get an NBA
star to play sixty five games in a year, that's
a pretty good amount. Now you have these guys because

(34:28):
they're getting older and their bodies are just breaking down.
You can't count on them for even half the season. Now,
how can you build? Hey, we win if Kevin Durant
is healthy. Thinking about that, if Kevin we made a
huge trade for the guy. If he Now it's if
he's healthy. This was the year for Zion Williamson to
put that narrative to rest. He couldn't. Now the narrative
is the guy can't can't play anymore. Lebron James same thing. This, Yeah,

(34:52):
the most important twenty three games of his career. Guy's
not gonna be on the court for him because he
can't say healthy. Another soft tissue injury. And here's Kevin Durant.
I'm gonna put all this add narrative of Brooklyn behind me,
not being able to stay healthy. And now three games
in I slip and fall taking a shot taking a
layup and now I'm out for three weeks whatever it is.
You just can't count on them. And maybe k D

(35:12):
would bang into something, maybe another guy would bang into somebody,
wouldn't be an injury. But this is what's happening to
these guys. And it's not like this is one freak injury.
This is now you're talking about three four years, five
years of no health, no health thought. You can't count
on them anymore. You can't count on any three of
those guys. It's an insane It sounds like an insane statement,
but it's true. Lebron and k D and Zion, you

(35:33):
can't count on them. So what you want to see
is the three teams from those guys in this postseason,
have like a Lakers Pelicans playing game to decide who
plays the Suns next. That would be perfect and you
might be missing all three or you just have the
three of them, you know, as healthy as the healthiest ones,
play a one on one on one game and then
whoever wins that team moves on. Well, it'll be a

(35:55):
war of attrition. Really, that's how we won't have three
guys on the court by the end of it. Well,
I think Zion could probably do one of those you
know videos that will be it don't sound something, I really,
it's just it's sad. But these are three incredibly large
superstars that you just say, Okay, you can't count them anymore.
