we are National Championship Night, syracuson Yukon, and you know
Syracuse put up a better fight. Yeah, so you had
(01:06):
Butler hit a three to start the game for San
Diego State and that was the end of their highlights.
Right now, it is Yukon thumping the Aztecs thirty to
seventeen with just under five minutes left to go in
the first half. San Diego State shooting twenty five percent
from the floor, looking very much like Butler on the
(01:28):
same floor in twenty eleven. If it's another game like
this in San Diego State loses like eighty five to thirty,
you can never play here again. We can never play
can't have a national champion game like that. We can
never play here again. You have to beg to play
somewhere else, smaller venue. But here's the thing. Do you
feel okay that you're only down sixteen when you haven't
scored a bucket in over ten minutes? You know? That's
(01:50):
the thing is that it gets to a play where
you're like, hey, I still feel good. We're down ten
and we haven't scored in ten minutes. Now you're down sixteen.
You're like, okay, well now we're down sixteen. We haven't
scored in ten minutes. Things aren't getting better for us. Yeah,
getting Just as you say that, with three fifty left,
a three pointer falls. Thirty twenty three. T J does
(02:10):
it again for San Diego State. He's gonna need to
hit it up a fifteen of them before this is done. Yes, Wow,
thirty three twenty Yukon with the lead and they are
putting together and we're talking about what's happening right now.
They're putting together a dominant run that we are used
to seeing once in a while from some of the
(02:31):
great all time teams like a nineteen ninety UNLV or
a Duke team or a Kentucky team. Because every game
they have played, none of them have been close, not one,
not one of them has been a single digit game.
They've all been bloods. They beat Iona, They end Rick
Pettino at Iona and forced them to jump to Saint John's.
You know, they beat him by twenty four. There, you know,
(02:52):
they beat Saint Mary's by fifteen. They beat Arkansas by
twenty three, they beat Gonzagaby by eighteen, and they shut
down Miami by thirteen. And here they are San Diego
State with a sixteen point lead. I mean, I don't know,
because I got I'd have to look it up. But
has any team won games this badly, this big throughout
an NCAA tournament like Yukon? Has anybody this big all
(03:15):
the way through whatever their their their plus is going
to be for the tournament if this holds. But every
single game and nothing has been close. No, just fantastic
run all the way through and you see the three
point shooting, being able to spread it out, run the floor,
and that coming into this game, that was the big
deal for San Diego State. Can they slow it down? Well, no,
(03:36):
they haven't been able to. They haven't taken care of
the basketball themselves. But for Yukon larger quashed something Buyer
and I talked about yesterday a little Fox Sports Sunday,
Yukon's you know, got dismissed and everybody said, there's no
blue bloods. This will be their fifth title since Rip
Hamilton and Kalid el amine I have hit. It's five
titles in twenty five years. How is that not constitute
(03:56):
you as a blue blood? Look that's look, I know
it's weird, and it's weird for me being a serious
fantasy don't have to say really good things about Yukon,
But you know we want to talk about Okay, Well, Duke, right,
Duke is the biggest blue blood because yes, Duke and
coach k they have five championships. This would be five
in the last twenty four years. Okay, but I mean
(04:17):
this is Yukon would be the dominant program in all
of college basketball. Because I think the question that's being asked,
and this one is it's universal because it's how I've
I've applied and tried to just set and frame a
lot of our conversation, right going back to when do
you call a penalty right in the Super Bowl? Right?
(04:38):
Is it that that's not a penalty with the minute left,
two minutes left, five minutes left? Is that something you
don't call in the second quarter? Right? Those kind of things.
You've moved it all the way down the line. Some
of the officiated we've watched over the weekend, a lot
of complaints, a lot of people logging complaints with how
badly it is. But for Yukon in terms of this
this argument, when you talk about Duke and North Caroline
(05:00):
and pick your other schools, you your Syracuse Orange for
what they've been for much of this millennium, right, going
to the same level is do those dips that they had,
like Yukon had several years of futility. You've changed coaches.
If Ji Jim Calhoun was this it was the same
guy for the entire run. How much differently is the
(05:22):
program looked at? Hmm, Yeah, look it's it's it's Jim Calhoun.
Yukon is a team that never really got the respect
for whatever reason. It was, oh, hey, Yukon, they're pretty good.
Oh they won a championship. Okay, they won again that okay,
But when they keep winning usually you get it okay,
(05:43):
you know, as you like to say, I raised my
hand and say where's that, and they just yeah, he won,
he won three won three national championships, like wow, okay,
all right, So maybe it was Jim Calhoun. Then Kevin
Ollie wins and really it was a really rough year
as a year. Kemba Walker takes over and goes all
the way through and it's a really bad game against ball.
He's like okay, and it's like, okay, well they won that,
but all right, but it was it was a rough
(06:04):
NCA ter. It's like, we find excuses to not give
Yukon credit for playing as well as they have. And honestly,
there's been four or five teams that have won that
that have gotten to the championship game winning double digits
all the way through. But Ukon does it again and
doubled because the last time Villanova did it too. But
remember they needed the Chris Jenkins three in twenty eighteen
(06:25):
to win the game. You know, that was that was
a nail by talked to him after that game. Uh yeah, yeah, yeah,
how'd you get the ball? Because I was calling arch
arch arch arch just pansive to me and uh so,
so that took a last second shot to win. Yukon
wins this game by by double digits. I mean, really,
who else is that? You're going? Really? Is it? UNLV
in nineteen ninety Look, North Carolina won big in two
(06:46):
thousand and nine. Uh you know, but all the way back,
but all the way through in a national title like this.
I don't know, man, that's got That's got to be
some kind of a all time great achievement for Yukon. No.
I hell of a run and Dan Hurley in his
run during this process as well, which is good, right,
And he got a big shadows to try to emerge
(07:06):
from in that family when you talk about the history
of his dad and his brothers. So for him a
couple of years ago, and that is one of the
viral videos making the rounds, brought back up from some
of the pressors of two years ago. Just wait, We're coming,
We're coming. It's almost like a trailer for a horror movie.
Year John, We're coming and here they are. If John
(07:32):
Wick comes out and there's like people get out to
try to disturb the game and he just like starts
killing all that would be pretty cool. Well why not?
I mean they did it when they shot that video
with Van Dam during the middle of a big event, right,
they do that during the playoffs years ago. Yeah, that's okay.
I'm with you on there. I'm with you. I think
that happened that way. So yeah, so right now, and
that's where we sit in Yukon thirty six twenty with
(07:55):
just under two minutes left to go in the first half. Um,
it has been another typical game for Yukon. I mean
because they play in the Big East. It's not Power five,
it's how much do we pay attention? But they were
a real trendy team coming into the tournament. Like they were,
they were the trendy final four team. I didn't pick
them strictly because they're a trendy everybody's picking them. I'm
(08:17):
not gonna pick not gonna do it. No, they're too trendy.
Do you think they're good? Yeah, they're really good. They're
killing teams you're gonna pick up Nope? Why because everybody
else is picking them edge. You know what, They started
the year at sixty six to one. Yeah, and now
they're just obliterating everybody. I mean, this is the equivalent
I went and saw Cody Rhodes in a great match
(08:39):
to Roman Rains lose, because that's when the goat noise
to start the show was. I thought we were launching
into Roman Rains comments earlier today that he's the greatest
heavyweight champion of all time. But his opponent was Cody Rhodes,
whose legendary father Dusty was always on the slam that
Sucker Down tour. That kind of feels like what Yukon
wants to do in this tournament. We're just gonna beat
(09:01):
your senseless game after game, leaving no doubt. So you're
looking at what could be history that a people don't
want to admit and be people don't understand how close
we are to see something like this. So really it's
it's been that big of a run for Ukon. But
but that's the other part of it, right is you know,
(09:22):
as much as we'll talk about the women's final and
the ratings and all of that that came out of it,
men's tournament has been defined by underdogs been defined by
you know, Cinderella and redefining Cinderella talking about the expansion
of the tournament, right, Larinega and other people, Champion going yeah,
why not gonna have at it. You're you've got your
(09:44):
big point between two dollars, eggs and gas is also
expanded to ninety six as part of your election platforms.
So it's been obscured. Right, So they've gone and dominated,
but the story is and overshadowed by one app set
after another or an FA you win, or whatever the
(10:05):
case may be. So now you get to the final
and you see all these data, what Jim nance finishing
his career, all of those things Jim Jim or shadowed Jim.
They should have had Tony Romo in here with Jim.
I just show up in the final minutes, have him
doing him Jim jo don't could you call this Jim
Jim Jim. I just saw Jim. They're really good Jim.
(10:26):
He look they didn't have a football program. I didn't
think they Jim Jim, Jim Jim, you're watching this, Jim
Jim Jim. Should I call Marshall Falk to get him
on the air. I'd calm, get him out. He can
talk about this with this, Jim Jim, This is awesome. Chim, Jim, Jim.
Why are you retiring? Jim? I don't understand. Wait, Jim, am,
I gonna do the games with I an eagle from
now on, Jim, Jim, Jim. Tell me Jim just retiring
from basketball? Jim? Is it just basketball? Tell me Jim
(10:48):
Jim Jim Jim. I would say, particularly if this stays
a blowout situation, Romo should make his way to the dance.
I'm tapping in for the final three minutes. Oh man,
I'll tell you it is that kind of game. So
far and again, Yukon is up twelve with about thirty
seconds to go in the first half, thirty six twenty four.
(11:10):
They can just about kill the clock here and hold
for the last shot. But look, they're going in with
a double digit lead into halftime and San Diego State
from where it's sat. I mean, really, I guess you
have to be a little positive, all right, Well we
cut it to twelve. If I'm hurlying, I'm pissed right
now here with as well as your defense had played
as suffocating as it had been, that you're you're at
(11:32):
a twelve point advantage going into the half. Yeah, yeah,
I'd be a little salty. I'd like to see that
interview coming out of the line. I can't wait to
ebody has to say Twitter and about a Fresca Mike,
It's swollen down the Jason Smith Show with my best
friend Mike Harman. If I'm hurly, I'm pissed because Yukon's
last two possessions three layups at the rim that were
(11:55):
almost uncontested. Dump the ball and they don't go. So
it could been a bigger lead for Yukon, but instead
they will go to the break thirty six twenty four
with the lead over San Diego State. I said, Yukon
seventy eight seventy one. I'm trying to stay hot because
I was three for three this weekend of my picks
in college hoops. I had Ukuta at San Diego, stay
(12:16):
at LSU. I'm trying to stay out. I'm trying to
stay hot like Kim Mulky in that outfit. I'm trying
to stay shove me like that. Repe stay hot, because
I will call the technical on you. Eight seven seven

Trailing Yukon thirty six twenty four right now they hit
just eight shots in the first half. They are lucky
to be down twelve, but again at half, this is
what Yukon has done. Maybe San Diego State and acbar

and for it is you Afer mentioned Jason Locke for
what's happening to Buddy? What's going on? Jens feel I
feel like every week is gonna be okay. Lamar is
out there, Aaron Rodgers is out there. Look, it's just
gonna keep going all the way. We're into June, in
July and September. Just every week is going to be
this well. I mean, look, I think the Aaron Rodgers
(14:31):
thing will be resolved before Lamar um. But yeah, this
is uncharted territory. It's it's pretty pretty bizarre. Um. I
don't think Lamar gets any sort of closure until the
other side of the draft, and we'll see if if
one of these teams stops pretending um that like Will
(14:51):
Levis or whatever, you know whatever they well, heck, even
Aaron Rodgers, they keep tending like some of that actually
makes more sense than Lamar Jackson. Whatever this is collusion.
I don't know. I guess it's still a little early
to make total proclamations. But we're in the draft mode now.
(15:14):
Teams are meeting with quarterbacks, they're meeting with draft prospects,
are making their top thirty visits for getting deep into
pro days. The focus is all on the draft, and
I don't see any team pivoting before the draft and
after the draft to someone trying to get him a
little bit on the cheap, knowing we don't have to
give up obviously any twenty twenty three draft capital, because
that draft would have been in the rear view mirror
at that point. You know, we'll see. The Commander situation
(15:40):
is particularly interesting because of the proximity, because of their
decades long struggle to find a quarterback. Because while the
football people in that organization, and I think very highly
of a lot of them, are sold on samhow whomever
pays six point five billion for this team just may not.
And they may look at a Lamar Jackson and say, man,
(16:01):
that that's that's a road to the playoffs right now.
That's the best quarterback in the NFC. Maybe he's the
second best to hurt, but he's right there. You know,
that's a chance for us to sell a lot of jersey,
sell a lot of tickets, build some immediate goodwill, get
in prime time, play meaningful games, help me get that
stadium built, help me get a new practice facility in Arlington,
(16:24):
you know, and not in Loudon County. Uh. And it
would also solve a lot of problems for the NFL
as well. Um, there goes the collusion case. Um so yeah,
I think it's. Um, it's it's an interesting time for
these quarterbacks and the league as a whole. Um. And
(16:44):
this Lamar thing could obviously linger through the July seventeenth
deadline that the Ravens would have to sign him to
an extension. Oh see, look, Jason Ears, Oh I think
it plays out. I was, I was like, I don't
see it any other than this. They're gonna try to
They're gonna try to say, Okay, well, the franchise tag,
he's got to play. But now Lamar, they know, is
a different dude. He's not going to play under the
(17:04):
franchise tag. And it's going to be one of those
Eve of Training Camp type deals where Lamar gets his
wish with his new team, doesn't get the new contract,
and is going to go for the one year thirty
some odd million Ravens get a first round pick or
something back, and it's and Lamar is trying to hit
this a year after, you know, at this time next
year on Okay, I gotta have a prove it year
(17:25):
with my new team. That's kind of how I see
it going. It could be, I mean, it certainly could
be something like that. You know, I don't know that
there's going to be a team that, in that scenario
would need him or want him more than the Ravens,
who at that point in time, you're you're talking about
assuming they don't get Anthony Richardson or something like that
(17:45):
in the draft, right, assuming they don't somehow jump way
up from twenty two to like free to get a quarterback,
which is not happening. You're talking about Tyler Huntley or
the undrafted kid at all, Oregon from a year ago
like that, that's untenable, you know. So I think in
that scenario, short of selling low on him, and if
(18:07):
you're only getting one pick next year, that's pretty low.
I think what you're doing is you're going to him
and you're saying, look, we've never given you a penny
more than we've had too in the past, but you
know what that changes right now, and we're we could
have easily tagged you with the exclusive tag at forty five.
A lot of people thought we were going to We're
(18:29):
gonna raise that tender to forty five. If you show
up for the start training camp and participate fullion camp
because we've got this new offense, we've got this new
coordinator and Todd Munkin, we'll give you another million. You
make the playoffs, we'll give you another million. You win
another playoff game, two million, you make the AFC Championship Game,
three million, you make the Super Bowl five million, you
(18:50):
got a chance to make over fifty million dollars. Here,
nobody wants you more than us. The market spoken right,
nobody needs you more than us. You don't fit anywhere
better than us. And with the defense we're building and
something the way we can run the ball. You know,
you've got a chance to set yourself up here better.
We'll worry about the future in January. But as a
one year lipstick on a pig situation, that may be
(19:14):
the best case scenario. How about another incentive for making
Odell Beckham Junior a pro bowler? Well, yeah, absolutely, I
mean I think his health, you know, the durability that
kN he might have more to do with that than
anything else. But sure, what kind of contract is he
gonna get? You know, I saw reports this weekend he
wants like one year and fifteen million from the Jets.
(19:36):
Now I'm like, even the Jets aren't going to do that. Yeah, boy,
I just don't know that that is out there for him.
It's been a long time. He came into the year.
When he came into the year, came into his career
with an injury, quickly came back from that. We all
know the story set the league on fire for three
four years, and then you know has bounced around and
(19:57):
had his share of injury since then. Um, I don't
the fifteen this late in the game. Just I mean,
with incentives, could you get there? Yeah? I don't see
a base, you know, higher than ten. And frankly, I
don't think a team like the Ravens is even sniffing
around at anything more than that. I'd be really difficult
(20:19):
with in the in a tenuous situation that they're in,
with Lamar and everything else and all this uncertainty, you know,
and with the other holes that they have. I just
don't think that right now. There's a whole lot there,
which is why you're hearing about a team like them.
Could somebody jump up after the draft or in the
next in the next couple of I don't know, weeks before,
(20:44):
I guess guys, but I don't think for any kind
of any kind of money like that. Colts working out
young and stroud we all marveled at last week while
we're watching guys throw footballs over the mountain. Are they
still potentially in play post draft for the Lamar sweepsticks
rather they go get a young quarterback and go back
(21:06):
past the experiments that they've been doing well. I think,
you know, could somebody jump ahead of them into that
third spot? Ostensibly I think for Richardson because the ceiling
is so much higher than Levis, and I know they
really like Levis. But maybe you're only signing Lamar on
a three year contract anyway, So I think, you know,
(21:29):
there could be a scenario where they draft a quarterback
and still make a run at Lamar. There could also
be a scenario where they decide, okay, if it goes quarterback, quarterback, quarterback,
do we just take Anderson, you know what I mean,
and then go Huevos out to put something out there
that Bashati won't match, you know, and now we've added
(21:51):
the best player in this draft. We've had our entire
run of picks in this draft where we were a
tanking team that picked really high, and we think we are,
you know, the right quarterback away from at least being
able to give on our best day, you know, the
Chiefs or the Bengals or the Jags a game. I mean,
(22:12):
there's a case to be made for that. I know
that there is a lack of passion and enthusiasm and
vigor about that team, the likes of which that franchise
has an experienced probably since you know, they drafted Peyton Manning.
So I don't know that people are going to be
fired up to play Will Levis before he's ready, or
(22:33):
you know, even if you take him, you really should
sit him for at least a year. And you know, look,
maybe they stayed for and they get Richardson and meanwhile,
he should still be sitting and he's still you know,
a long term proposition. They're ways to get him in
the game immediately that bolster your offense. But it's hard
for me to imagine there isn't at least a team
(22:54):
that we're all sitting there talking about the Friday, Day
two of the draft saying, my goodness, Okay, the ship
is sailed on the top five quarterbacks in this draft.
That team really needs to get whoever that team is,
Team X really needs to go get Lamar Jackson. Jason
Locking for NFL Inside with Us The Jason Smith Show

(23:15):
All right, now, you mentioned Anthony Richardson and Jay just
knowing how the NFL works and knowing that when teams
feel like it, we can ignore what we saw on
tape and just concentrate on what's somebody that they're pro
day and how they interview. And I can't see at
this point Richardson not going number one overall. I mean
(23:36):
the Panthers getting caught up. They already went to go
see him and all the great physical tools he put
on display, especially if you know they're not hot on
Bryce Young and maybe they were forcing themselves a bit
into c. J. Strout. As time goes on and we
get close to the draft and Richardson becomes this mythic
quarterback of you don't want to miss on a guy
with this kind of ceiling, I can't see there being
(23:57):
a scenario where he's not the number one overall pick.
I mean, I think I think there's definitely scenario if
that exists, where he's not you know, like the owner's
got to be comfortable with him, everybody's got to be
totally comfortable with him. They've had a lot of missteps there,
and it still only is a thirteen game sample size. Look,
I think quarterbacks are going one two, three, and if
(24:20):
the Colts stay there, they could go one, two, three four.
But you know, I've written about that at the Washington
Post for weeks now, like that that's been in the cards.
Just talking to the people who I know and trust
to evaluate this stuff. I just because of what Caroline
has been through and because of what the Texas have
been through, I thought. My hunch right now is we're
(24:42):
speaking right now, is it's still young one Stroud to
whoever jumps up to three, and that could be the
Colts moving up just one spot takes Richardson and then
we'll see about Levis And I think Hooker ends up
going in first round somewhere too, or does Tennessee decide
(25:03):
a Jim Er say thank you and jump up to
that third slot them It could be the Raiders. Um, yeah,
I don't think it's the Ravens. I mean, I know
they really like Richardson. I know they're gonna meet with him.
I don't know if they can go from twenty two
(25:24):
to three. I mean this I say late in the game,
but in modern you know, in this modern era of
teams that have made moves like that have started it,
you know, much sooner than this, like the Eagles did
years ago, like the forty nine Ers did a few
years ago. You know, you got to get into the
top ten first. Look, I mean the Patriots, I mean,
(25:44):
you look, we could we could come up with a
fairly lengthy list of teams who you know, if if
you're convinced that Richardson can come anywhere close to touching
his ceiling. It's worth it for you to move up
and you know, get first DIBs. He's on Twitter at

Her reasoning was, boy, it was such a good game,
you know, Okay, And the reaction to this has been
people losing their minds. You want to talk about something
(27:33):
really important coming off this. We'll get to that controversy
coming up in about ten minutes, because this whole trash
talking stuff today that merits a lot of attention. This
is just stupid, Okay. Should Iowa be invited to the
White House? Probably not, because they didn't win, and it's
a long standing tradition that you invite the winning team.
But I'm watching responses from people in the media like
(27:55):
this is ripping apart the fabric of the universe, Like no, no,
you can these people to the White House. It's the
White House, they can. They can invite whatever group they
want to. It's the White House. But so Joe Biden, now,
Joe Biden, look what you're doing. Jill Biden. I don't
know that she's probably ever watched a college basketball game,
maybe before yesterday in her life. Right, wouldn't that be
(28:17):
good for women's college basketball because this game was one
of those games, one of those magic versus Larry kind
of games that we saw that put the NCAA Tournament
on the mat back in nineteen seventy nine. No, should
they invite Iowa? Probably not. But again, this is not
this is not the most Oh, this is for winners.
It's a it's a it's a it's kind of a
(28:38):
tradition that the White House came up with. So suddenly,
I mean, look, I get it that it's not a
great look and it kind of it diminishes a little
bit for LSU. But at the same time, LSU knows
they're the champs. I would love to go there and
share my day with Iowa knowing that you lost. I
could do that. You can't see me at the White House.
To Caitlin Clark, and everybody else. Show you where my
(29:00):
look at my See before I just I was just
pretending that I need the spot for my ring. Now
I'll show you where my ring is. That this is
not something to go absolutely crazy for, but I feel
like it. You know, there's no there's no There's got
to be some sense in some controversies that happened, and
this is one of those. Look is that she was
trying to say something nice. Probably spoke before she thought
(29:22):
about what this would mean and what the okay, but
let but let's not treat it like who's who's really
being being Why they can't they can't invite Iowa? What
if they wanted to invite South Carolina? No, don't, don't,
can't infight South Carolina. Can't invite them? What if they
wanted to invite Syracuse women's team went to the n
i T. They went into the second round. You can
invite Syracuse to the n I T. I mean really, suddenly, now, oh,
this is this is not that big a deal again
(29:43):
one we're gonna talk about in a few minutes. Big
deal this one. I'm like, Wow, it's like, let's just
look for something to get mad about. Let's look to
say here, if you're already mad, anything else that comes
into that, uh, that sphere of influence is gonna get
people even further outraged. Now in this case, it's a
are you disrespecting? And it owes to some of the
(30:04):
conversation about the Tony Yayo slash John Cena you can't
see me kind of thing. But I think folks are
immediately how do we get Caitlin Clark? How do we
get Iowa involved? Now? Immediately it becomes a race thing.
How about if you'd say it's just a political thing.
You need Iowa and if you can curry favor and
(30:25):
Iowa by bringing Iowa there as Biden gets ready to
relaunch an election campaign. I can't fault a good strategy
from a political standpoint. I'm Caitlyn Clark, you know who,
Joe Biden can't see his opponents coming up in the collection.
You didn't think about that angle to all this, did you?
(30:45):
The actual political one that blows to it? You know,
Iowa was more hotly contested last time out. Maybe if
we really embrace the hawk eyes women and Caitlyn Clark,
we can flip it. I mean, it's trying to Joe
bond to hot stories, right, It's why people that never
talk college buckets from the women's side. You and I
(31:05):
have had a number of guests on the show, and
I'm not saying we're the greatest champions of it, but
we haven't ignored it or dismissed it at any point
during our tenure here together. But you noticed it was
fear of missing out over the last week as the
Caitlin Clark's story started to build, even before this latest
controversy and this one with doctor Biden. I mean, I
(31:26):
I don't, I don't, I mean, this is this is typical, Oh,
let's celebrate and yes, let's get to the fabric of sports,
and we don't celebrate winners. And I don't want Mike,
you don't get a participation, Jophie the White House. That's
kind of what I feel this is, and is a
lot of it amped up because of the controversy coming
off the game, yesterdcent is this more should be one
(31:50):
of those Oh wow, hey, I'm sorry, doctor Biden. You
don't generally invite the losing team, but hey, okay, okay,
here was another that was made by the team. Yeah,
I don't say that you can think it. Yeah, you
can go and ask someone if you want to workshop,
and hey, what do you think? If no, don't put
it out there. Yeah. I mean, look, we live in
an age where political gaps happen every eight minutes. Right,
(32:12):
somebody says or does something where you go, oh wow,
And sometimes they're really serious and it's like, oh wow,
we got to talk him. This is a very big deal.
And sometimes it's oh wow. Yeah, you want to invite
the team loss because I like Cayton Clark, She's such
a big star. I really want to. But that is like, hey,
(32:34):
you want to be part of the biggest story that was.
And it takes nothing away from what LS you did
as a team, or as we talked about the other night,
what South Carolina was as a team. Right, you're gonna
have the number one overall draft pick and you've been
one of the most dominant forces in the game going
on these last couple of years. Dawn's Danley's entire career
takes nothing away from it. But right now, when you've
(32:55):
got a women's game white hot and smoking coming out
of this nine point nine rating or whatever it was, Yeah,
you want to be as involved with that and bringing
all the principles that you can. I really don't. I mean,
I fail to see the overall the level of I
(33:16):
just want to get pissed about something, And yeah, is
it a bit of a piggyback off of what Yes,
it is because it's two stories happen bang bang, one
after another. So people are keyed up about the first one.
I get it, and so now I'm gonna be keyed
up about this and what's that's? Like? Oh okay, all right,
let's just let's just realize that this is what it is.
Let's just realize people like to be mad. Right now.
(33:36):
From the Final four NCAA Championship game, Yukon with a
ten point lead over San Diego State. They're going to
the free throw line, thirteen fifty nine left to go.
It is forty five thirty five. San Diego State. Hanging
tough so far in the first few minutes of the
second half, but at some point you gotta start cutting
(33:58):
that lead. It's nice to hang tough, but you gotta
cut that lead again. Still a ten point lead for Yukon.
They are going to the line. We'll have more on
this end. The real big controversy coming off the women's
national title game Coming up next from the tirerac dot
