Please someone make this game stop. Make it stop, Make
it stop. Man stop.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
JD.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Martinez gonna have like nine hits in this game. Is
he gonna send a new maneat Starter?

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Dodgers and the Rockies still going in the bottom of
the seventh inning, a game that was delayed two hours
because of hal You saw them shoveling the hail out
of the stadium and once this game started. Hey, wow,
the Rockies get out to a three to one. Oh no, no,

(01:24):
it has been all Dodgers since then. They lead it
now fourteen to three, going to the top of the
eighth inning. This game is gonna be on during our
entire show.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Not many times that happens. We're gonna have this game
on during our entire show.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
No, not in twenty twenty three with the new rules
and of engagement. Now this one, obviously you said to
delay the hail storm. I seen some videos pretty scary,
the still pictures of you know, guys standing in the
dugout or on the field, and then that field. I
don't know if it's the colors we've chosen on the television,

(02:00):
whether we need to adjust, but the green of the
field is really kind of upsetting. Yeah, like it's it's
a weird green. I mean that that's it looks like April.
It looks like it's April. Could you still see what
the hail that's in the stand. Well, they haven't gotten
rid of right, so you know, post snowstorm like we had.

(02:22):
But also just you know the Jack Nicholson's green hair
in Batman. It's it's like that color yeah, yeah, it's
it's not it doesn't look like normal grou No, no, no.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
It's not a it's not a a traditional green color.
But how far can we be away from a team
that size that red grass?

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Why not? Right?

Speaker 1 (02:40):
So we see red fields and color blue fields in
college football.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
We paint it. If you're the reds, don't you don't
use that that red dye that they had the problem
with M and m's and all that.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Well, no, you know, you have to find a way
to grow the grass that it grows that color. You
have to find that way. Or if it's turf, if
you have a turn, you just put down the turf.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
The just gotta get away from the turf down for anybody.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
You put that No, I mean the turf grass. I
mean the not not turf turf. I mean like the
turf grass.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
You see it now?

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Just I want red? Why not we have the red field?
You can't can't get mad, right, Baseball is white. It's
not like you can't see it. Okay, it can be
red field.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
It's all American too.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Yeah yeah, when to that point, man, you get a
black field black grass there?

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Oh that would look sweet man, so intimidating. I would
dig that. Or you can be like the Iowa Hawk
eyes and it changes color so when you're fielding, it's
now pink. Oh okay, all right. They used to paint
the locker rooms.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Kind of like l A X with the big when
the big sign the big lights keep changing all the time.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Uh the chase is what a mess that place is?
By the way, I spent uh yeah, a half hour
trying to get get to a spot in the parking
lot because they have signs leading you all over. It's
like it's one way that I know it's not because
this guy's barreling down upon you. People people into believable.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
People are saying to themselves at this point, you know,
I move far away from my family, do I really
need to keep seeing them? Or if I want a vacation,
I just want to get in the car and drive somewhere.
I can drive somewhere in a couple hours. It be
someplace pretty cool, rather than have to go and spend
an entire day traveling. Because unless you can fly direct,
which okay if you're lucky, but hopefully your flight isn't delayed,
it's such a pain, like you're spending a whole day

(04:23):
now because you don't know if your flight's gonna get
delayed or if it's gonna get canceler. You have to
go and all the all the the hoops you have
to jump through now with everything coming back from from
COVID and and look, traveling wasn't that great before. The
traveling industry has had a lot of problems telling you, man,
if you're why not, I'll just get on a train
for a whole day, enjoy the country side, and I'll
wake up in the morning and instead of no, I'm

(04:44):
in European fel I'm at Lake Tahoe or somewhere. I'm somewhere.
I'm up, I'm in San Francisco. Some I'm somewhere else.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Take the Greyhound. It's a dog of a way to
get around, as sung by the great Harry Chapins, Well,
I don't know that it's buses. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
I've had enough buses. I feel the minor leagu minor
league ball play. I had enough buses now. I rode
the bus a lot in college getting back and forth
from Syracuse.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
I did that in high school and certainly through college
in Chicago, and I couldn't stand it because I'm like, okay,
it's a four and a half hour drive from Syracuse
to New York. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Yeah, so when are you gonna be in? Well, my
bus leaves at ten. What times you get in eight thirty? What? Well,
because we have to stop at Schenectady, we have to
stop at Binghamton, then we have to stop.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
I'm like, no, I'm not not enough Schenectady. You might
have been able to say hi for a while. I've
had there Schnnectedy, I've had enough of the bus Schenectady, Niskeuna.
But yeah, just picking up the kid from the airport
as she came back from her turn. It took me
an hour to get into the parking lot from when
I first entered and then to actually get into the terminal.

(05:45):
It's like, what time did you get here? It's like, well,
which part as in walking out of my vehicle to
come over to the terminal or when I actually claimed
I was entering the airport? Was It's next level stuff. Yeah,
that's stressful. It's first war problem. Yeah, yeah it is.
But people like to travel.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Get in the summertime now people want to travel and
go places, and I generally pay this time.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Like if I'm actually traveling. I got no problem. No,
it's the I just want to park and go pick
up the people who are returning from traveling. That's like
when I travel. That's where I travel. I like you,
you were romanticize the getting the car, do the car
trip and everything, which is great and I'm with it.
But it's like all our colleagues in the medium is
a flight today? Know this stuff. It's like, all right,

(06:27):
get you were in a metal tube for four hours
once you actually got started, right, you want to do
that drive with your family. You want to do that
drive from wherever you're covering game one to the next
one forty eight hours later. You want to do that drive.
Go do that drive. Shut up about your air traffic,
eat your peanuts, get a cup of coffee, have a
drink at the bar, and shut off.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
I'm gonna watch a movie and sit by myself and
do nothing.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Exactly what happens that way. Get over it. I hear you. Uh.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
We're getting set for free agency tomorrow in the NBA,
having up in a few minutes where justin fraud, we're
gonna spin the free agency wheel again.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
We're gonna go start again.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Stop. Well, I didn't even hear it spin that time.
We're going through this guth mode the ten biggest free agent.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
No, no, not now it's coming up. Wait a minute, tight, shit,
not now? I do like that. Round ball rock is
back on everybody's mind. So can I just spin the wheel?
Ones go ahead.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm PACIFICO.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Get your gloves sticks out, people.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
So that's coming up in a few minutes. We did
five of the big free agents last hour. I told
you where they would end up. Now we're gonna do
another big five coming up in a few minutes. But
before we get to that, I'll tell you one team
that is going to strike big and as being really
smart right now. And it's hard because you don't generally

(07:54):
say hey, off season plans and cohesiveness is part of
their recent past. But I love what the Lakers are
doing right now in their preparation for free prosburg right
because you know they're going to do something big. First
of all, they have no choice because you're coming off
an NBA Finals and it to be a Western Conference
Finals appearance, and you can say, hey, the rest of

(08:16):
the teams in the West, they all have problems. Look
where we went. We need we need a little bit
more to get over the top. You thought you would
get to the point where, hey, Lebron's done. Ad is
not trying. No, no, hey, wait a minute, this worked.
So the pressure to do something and not waste the
end of Lebron, Lebron's career and the end of AD's
prime is immense. So when you when you couple that

(08:39):
with the fact that now the Lakers have flexibility for
the first time in years, every trade conversation that you
had with the Lakers for the last three years is always, well,
you have Westbrook's contract. God, Westbrook. Now you're not Westbrok's
contract anymore. Don't have Westbrook's contract where you're not sunk
into a lot of players. You extended the qualifying offense
for Hatching Moore and Austin Reeves.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
You want to.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Keep both of them, but could both of them go
someplace in a big trade or one of them?

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Could you bring them both back because you have the
money to and then go get a big player. Yeah,
you can do all of these things, and for the
first time in a couple of years, you are seeing
free agents and the Lakers being talked about as destinations.
Maybe it's Bruce Brown from the Nuggets, which is now
we're gonna put them over the top and okay, but
you're seeing, hey, I want to go to LA now

(09:30):
because now we can win again. It wasn't this big
black hole the last two years. Like boy, well they
won in twenty twenty, but that's been it because clearly
Lebron has moved on and eighty is gonna be ad.
The Lakers have everything now gelling all at once. They
have the impetus to make the team better because of
where they were last year. They have financial flexibility, and
you're a destination. All three of those things. Put it

(09:51):
all in the hopper and just mix it up. Lakers
are gonna do something really really big. Could be free
agency move, could be a sign and trade somewhere, but
they're gonna do something incredibly large and free agency.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
I do like that You've got your your eye on
LA and getting Volks mad at you that are Laker
fans trying to doom their team like our guy Frostburg here. Yeah,
but yeah, look, some of the stuff that you mentioned
is kind of like the old argument I had for
managing in Major League Baseball, in the National League, when
everybody talked about how hard it was and the double switch,

(10:24):
what a great move it was. Now it was on
the Bengo card. When's the pitcher got to come out?
When's he batting? All those You got those in like,
you know, the one you buy for ninety nine cents.
If you're learning the game and you go to Las
Vegas or any reasonable establishment that has blackjack ready for you,
it's it's pretty obvious. So the extending qualifying offers, we'll

(10:44):
see what happened. Neither of those guys I don't think
is returning, but you'll get some compensation now giving yourself
some flexibility. You talk about destination, the impetus based on
last year, No, it's impetus based on and Lebron James
and Anthony Davis are still on your roster. And for
Lebron James, I mean the clock is ticking. I mean

(11:06):
he made James Gang might show up in Atlanta. I mean,
you don't know after next year. Based on the possibility
that Brownie James gets drafted to the league and Lebron
wants to leave, Well that's the next plug that gets
pulled on the Lakers. Now it opens and affords guys
an opportunity to fill that vacated space. But the other

(11:29):
thing is just assuming these guys are going to be healthy, Yeah,
you gotta be active, as active as you can to
build out this roster and hopefully they get some semblance
of that team that got into the playoffs and was
playing and beat the Warriors. They still got swept by
the Nuggets. Yes it was a hard fought sweep, but
it was a sweep nonetheless, and they're a year older,

(11:51):
and you got through that entire run with James and
Davis playing all the games. Now, James immediately told you
how hurt he was as soon as he could talked
about retirement, which is all those things where you start
raising eyebrows, like just look at me, the attention wanting
that he had and all. And now he's mad at
Michael Malone because Malone called him out. So yeah, he's

(12:15):
got fire in the belly. I see all these thought pieces.
I read the headline and I laugh at them. I
don't read anything further beyond that because I know it's
a bunch of nothing clickbait stuff. You're not getting my click.
But it's it's the end of the run, right they
have no choice. And we celebrated Plinka when he was

(12:35):
able to offload the Westbrook contract. It's like, here's your
executive of the year right now. He made that happen.
And they didn't throw up a white flag. They went
back and they played, and Ham got a lot of
work out of those guys, and they committed to what
he was trying to sell physically. Do you get the
same luck where those guys are together at the end

(12:57):
of the season. I don't know, but I'm sure I'm
excited to find out, right. I mean, when they're relevant
one way or the other, either it's going to tank
or they make another run, and we get all the
Lebron conversations and Anthony Davis gets to say, see, I'm
pretty good. I mean, look how much he's how many
photos of him working out or on a basketball court

(13:17):
you get this year? Remember that was the joke. Oh
he hasn't touched to basketball since whenever. Well, now he's
working hard and everybody loves a feel good story for
some of these secondary players. So good for Rob Linka.
I don't know how active they can be. Men there's
not a lot of money in the bank, but get creative.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
If they weren't gonna do anything, there just wouldn't be
this buzz around them, right Lakers And because they always
like to get to the point where it's, hey, we
want to but really, look what can we do?

Speaker 3 (13:50):
No, now you have all that flexibility. They're good, They're
they're doing something. But here's the thing. You got a
lot of guys that get you know, this guy's been
rumored to be part of the Lakers plans or he
would like to be. It's a lot of talk. I
like it. But remember we're in the NBA's version of

(14:10):
Liar's Poker, where there's going to just be a lot
of misinformation, at least for the next twenty four hours
until the guys are out there with their John Cusk
boomboxes begging guys to sign.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
The Jason Smith Show with My best friend Mike Harmon
NFL Free Agency, Sorry, NBA free Agency, we had NFL
Free agency the Jet's got Aaron Rodgers NBA free agency
on the way, got a big day tomorrow. Rick Buker,
I think is gonna stop buy with us, Mark Medena.
We could see we got ten big names at least

(14:57):
could be seeing some of them changing teams to So
we're gonna spin the big wheel again here as we
did last hour on the show. We went through five
of the big free agent signings last hour where we
thought Kyrie, Draymond, Kuzma, Van Vliet, Russell Westburg would wind up.
Let's spin the wheel and do five other big free

(15:18):
agents and find out their ultimate destinations.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
Frostburg spin it Tys Wow. I like this one. Chris Middleton,
I know where he's going. Akers. I like this one.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
Do you want to ask and answer the question or
you just want to ask the questions?

Speaker 3 (15:35):
There's more putting it out there.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Lakers. That's their big move. That's a guy they can
move things around to get.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
Take that.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
They can move it around, money whatever, it's a sign
and trade. Something can work out for Chris Middleton, all right.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
I mean, look, do the Bucks.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Want to bring him back A kind of in theory,
they do, but they also know that maybe we need
something a little bit different guys thirty one, thirty two.
Maybe he doesn't fit with us because Jannis is still young.
We want to get somebody else younger to come in.
He fits perfect with the Lakers, perfect for their window,
everything they need. He's won a championship as well. So

(16:12):
you're bringing somebody in that's been able to do that.
Chris Middleton. I told you the Lakers are going to
have a big swing at somebody.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
He's my pick. Middleton's a Lakers. When he opted out
of that forty point three million, he was guaranteed to
get with the Bucks this year. I kind of dig that.
I actually think he's going to your squad and Julius Rande,
Oh never mind, I hate what I said. I like
what you said. Harmon, Harmon, Harmon, harmon.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
Him and James Harden are kind of the same guy
at right.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Well, that's the thing, right, we're we're doing these as
independent data points. I can't string them moves together right now.
But yeah, that's that's where I've got him going, because
that's where the money's make no sense without a bunch
of other moves that have to happen. Yeah, it's a
tough one though, because the Lakers clearing up the space
is that that's hard. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
But but but if you're talking about us, that's why
a sign and trade with a oh all right, suddenly
Austin Reeves is part of that deal or something else
to make the money work, then it works, all right.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
So that's why they's not making that much.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
But I hate it getting to forty.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
But you're talking about a couple of guys you can
throw the Look, the Lakers have assets. There's things you
can do. Uh, something we haven't been able to say
in a long long time. Guys, guys the rest of
the league might actually want. Although the old cautionary tale,
and I'm sure it's been said a million times, guys
usually look a little bit better when Lebron's on the
court with him. All right, let's spind the wheel.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
Ooh, this one's juicy, right, yeah, juicy D'Angelo Russell, Oh
all right, all right, last hour, I told your Fred
Van Vliet is gonna wind up being the crown jewel
for emai OD and the Houston Rocks.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
That's where I'm gonna build my culture with a guy
that won a championship, And that's what I'm gonna do
D'Angelo Russell. His free agency is a little bit more complicated.
He's had the limelight, then he was out of the limelight,
and he had the limelight. He was at his best

(18:22):
when he was sort of out of the limelight. He
goes to Toronto to replace Fred van Vliet, D'Angelo Russell
goes to the Raptors.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
That is curious. I kind of dig that I have
him staying a member of the Lakers. He had a
hell of a season. I'm cool whatever.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
I mean, there's consistent until he disappeared, until he completely disappeared, swept.
He was good right up until the part where you
couldn't even find him on the court. I was counting
at the end of there are a lot of disappearing acts.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
They only have four in the courtier. Oh no, no,
he's there, okay, all right, had some big games though,
help push them along. So I think we're quick to
forget those. I think he's a guy that they bring back.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
All right, Tys ready spend a baby.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
Oh Brook Lopez, Brook Lopez, No, No, I think he
goes back to Milwaukee. They want they I don't think
they want to lose both Lopez and Middleton. I think
that's a lot. Brook Lopez does a lot of the
He does a lot of what I call the ice

(19:37):
cream work, right, he fills in the cracks, right when
you eat ice cream, it kind of fills in the
cracks in your stomach.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
There's room for it.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
He does a lot of them. Is no longer there,
that's true. Oh yeah, we got to talk about that
as well, uh jerks. But no, I think in the
end he winds up going back. He gets a little
bit more money, and he winds up going because look
all he can hope for really is the mid level
exception someplace whereas the Bucks can say, all right, what
about a couple of years we do this. Yeah, I
think brook Lopez still has some value there.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
See. I think he's either a maverick like Justin said,
or ends up out the mL E for the Lakers. Lakers,
ye've having a little more uh jet at the in
the big I.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Don't know, but I think I think the Lakers have
to shoot a little higher than brook Lopez for the
mid level exception.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Like they're talking about Bruce Brown and which, okay, that's great.
So you're saying they should call Dwight Howard. Oh yeah, Yeah,
you can definitely get my big fate was more jestin if
I'm giving my choice, and this is you know me
as armchair GM, I'll take the big guy, knowing what
I gotta go through. If I want to win in
the West, I'll take the big body that can rebound
and play some d Oh the joke is a one

(20:44):
hit wonder. Oh that's it, because he's back to Serbia
and riding his horses.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
You didn't see Batman, didn't didn't Okay, speaking of joke, Spinnet.
Jeremy Grant, Jeremy, you know, just Jeremy, just for a second,

(21:11):
I mean, just just for a second, I want to
say that, you know, this is why I feel. Yeah,
and now here's what I like about Jeremy Grant is
that he's the lass.

Speaker 3 (21:24):
Syracuse player to cover the league and do it. Second
round pick all those years ago by the Philadelphia seventy
six years tomorrow. Yeah, I mean, he's he is, he is.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
It's surprising it took him a while, right, He's He's
one of those guys where if you want to say
to yourself as a college player, I get out of
the I get I leave my college. I'm gonna need
some time. I need to develop G league rookie whatever
it is. That's Jeremy Grant, right and look where he is.
He's already signed a big deal with He was good
with Portland. He signed the big deal with Detroit. That's

(21:58):
your guy to model yourself after, because look at the
career that he's having.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
It's a it's a really big deal.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
He's only twenty nine, so he's someone that's gonna get
a big deal someplace else.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
It's hard, but maybe they need a younger.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
Maybe they need a guy like Grant because they have
so many younger players.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
And it's okay to do it.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
Because you're looking to take a big step, but you
need somebody there.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
Oklahoma City, Oh, I like to give me the thunder
for Jeremy. I gotta think that. I think he stays
in Portland.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Oh wait that all wait, well that's irrelevant. It all
depends on what what does What does Damian Lillard want?

Speaker 3 (22:38):
That's it? Does he want Jeremy Grant to stay or go? Do?
What does he want? Is he a winner? Is he
not made Syracuse? They only won one title during Beaheim's run.
How does that reflect on Jeremy? Don't give me your
Ron Parker. Anybody who win one, Jase, Now, don't give
me that. I really get one that was poking the
bear because you were already getting lathered up because of

(22:58):
the reference to ice creaming. Now you man, thank you chef,
you said the bear.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
Thank you, chef, the bank you chef, Thank you chef,
thank you, chef, Hey chef, thank you chef.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
Yes, chef, thank you. I just like people that have
nothing to do with the food prep. Yes, chef, Now
our chef. Everybody's everybody's chef. Sign of respect. Everybody said,
thank you chef, Thank you, chef, Thank you chef. By
the way, more than a few guys like Richie in
my family.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
That's what every one of your brothers is. They're all Richie.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
Every one of your brothers is Richie. Anybody see Richie.
All right, what's the next let's spin? Let's spin? Oh well, well,
what do we have here? James Hardin, Nick.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Du don't no no no no no no.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
No no no no no no no no no no.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
That could be no no no.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
Anytime you say it, the more times I say no,
it balances out and cancels out. You putting that out
in the atmosphere. No no, no, I didn't have to
worry about that getting out there.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
That's not going anywhere.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
But no, no, no, no, no no no. It's like
the Mount Splashmore song take Me, Take Me, Take Me,
take me now now now now no no no no
no no no no no no no. You take it
amount splash Moore that you take us amout slash You
take some amount Splashmore. You signed James Harden, You signed

(24:31):
James Rden, You signed James Harden. James Harden is gonna
play this smart because he has no choice. Where else
is someone going to trade for him? Because again, like
I said, with some of these other players, do anybody
really believe that you are Kyrie Irving James Harden.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
Away from winning a title? Yeah? Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
Where can he go back where he was a legend,
where you can say, hey, I can go, I can
I can be part of this, I can be part
of the situation again. I can team up with Fred
van Vliet. He goes back to Houston when it's all
said and done. There's not a big market for him,
but Houston. Who's looking to go from outhouse to penthouse

(25:13):
right away? Like they're saying, we are hitting the forget about. No,
we are just reloading. We're just loading up. We want
to bring in a playoff ready team that can compete
and hard and going back there sharing the back court
with Fred van Vliet.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
That makes sense. Oh, I like the cut of your gym. Now,
the Knicks are interesting just because that rumor. But I mean,
really we all want him on the Clippers. Yeah, it
would be fun.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
I'll tell you that, him and Paul George and Kyrie
it would be It would be.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
Just oh man, that would be something they go there,
that would do here. Yeah, it would be fun basketball. No,
that's fun. That's the beauty of it. They'll literally fight
for the basketball. The other thing I wouldn't rule out,
and it's part of it is because as you're gonna
give Joel Embiid a complex, is that he may end
up back in Philly. They might do enough groveling.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
No, he's opting in so they could trade him. They
know it's not working. This wouldn't be Hey, opt in
and we'll keep you, sucker. No, I mean, if they're
not blank, I'm gonna keep him. He wants a new deal.
Wherever he goes he wants.

Speaker 3 (26:20):
I'm going to give it to him, they might get
suckered in. Really all dependent on embeid what does he
want because he may end up holding the bag with
a bunch of nothing.

Speaker 4 (26:28):
Then lastly, real quickly, where does Austin Reeves? What happens
with Austin Reeves? Oh?

Speaker 3 (26:32):
He stays.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
He stays, stay unless they need to package him for
somebody else is gonna give him.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
He stays. He fits with what they do.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
He clearly LA is not too much for h Yeah,
it's I think they learned their lesson when they traded
Kyle Kuzma the way the Lakers thought, Boy, this is
the guy that Lebron really liked. He fit really well.
He was the shooter Lebron wanted. They had something going on. Now,
obviously they had to make moves and move things around
to get a d in and and win a title

(27:03):
and all that. But I think that's the one where
they go, man, Kuzma was the guy.

Speaker 3 (27:09):
Thing you know all too soon? Yeah, I had to
do it. You didn't. I did? Oh you did, defensive
player right there? I miss him.

Speaker 4 (27:19):
And if the Lakers strike out with Austin Reaves, they
can always go call Tim and fay Mosgov.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
Aren't they still paying him?

Speaker 1 (27:26):
I think they're still paying Finally, off the books, I
think they're paying moss he and lou All Dang.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
No, oh no, I remember the night we were on air.
That was the worst phone calling, wasn't it? Four years
and hundred million dollars? It was like sixty million for him?
I thought it was. No, it was one hundred million
total for mos Goolf and low All Dang was way
more than that.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
He was he was priced to say, four years and
sixty million. I want to say, that's what I would
have been cool with that.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
Yeah, No, it was bad. I'm trying to go back
through it. It was one hundred ls come up?

Speaker 1 (28:03):
I don't know, man, I think it was four and
sixty still for do I get? Did I get? I'm
looking up for just do Moscow Lakers contractors looking up
All Dang because that was more entertaining. Wait anyway, Steve
de Seger looking up slim Fick Moscow four four for
sixty four.

Speaker 3 (28:22):
I win.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
I'm right, James Harden is not going to the Knicks.
That's what that means right there,
