on Tom Brady when he got hurt in two thousand
and eight. Great, feeling great about it.

Oh that means there's a lot of surgery's in between there.
He's really skills well in two thousand and eight. Now, Well,
but you talking about eighteen years of innovation.

who's Jim dwro no Tom Brady, the guy that worked
on Tom Brady. But we talked to Jordan Schultz last
night and he said, ay, you know, the Jets right now,
they see him all in on on Zach Wilson. But
in a few weeks we'll see. I'll tell you this
and I'll give you I'll pinpoint stuff for you. Zach

Wilson is the best choice for the Jets right now.
He's not a great choice, but he's the best choice.
Why because he knows the team, he knows the offense.
They have confidence in him. Right now. He's gonna have
Aaron Rodgers helping him. He looked a little bit better.

for or sign off the street. That's going to be
an improvement because a no team is trading you their

go get Jameis Winston. None of these teams are trading
their guys. That's just stupid. That's just again, there were
so many stupid people this week when he came to
what the Jets should do. Nobody's trading their guys. As

guys played quarterback last year after Week one, no one
is trading their backup. No one's doing it. They're not
doing it. It's just stupid to say that. So if

And how many of the backups are any good anyway?

street because it's not gonna help. It's Zach better for
better or for worse. They need to be Zach Wilson
driven because he is the best choice for now. Now
is it a great choice. No, but it's the best choice. Now.

You get to the trading deadline, Okay, get to the
trading deadline, and the Jets are hanging around the playoff picture.
They're not done. I told you they're gonna win ten
games go to the playoffs. But let's just say we
got to get to get No, no, no, we're winning ten
games to get into the playoffs. But let me throw
this out there, because I got names, because I got names.
I got names. I got names. You made it personal.

I got names. Let's say you get close to the
deadline and the Jets are hovering. They're not out of it,
they're around five hundred. They're playing well, but Zach Wilson
just stinks. All right, Zack Wilson's just not what they
thought he was going to do. They're not gonna give
this year away, so what are they gonna do?

Then they're gonna look and say, Okay, we're at the
trading deadline. What teams out there have not had to
start to the season they expected. They're sitting at one
and six, one and seven, and hey, you know what,
we may as well tank and try to get Caleb
Williams or somebody else, or Drake may or Sadur Sanders
or whoever else you want to get. This is not
working for us. We need to move on. When it

gets close to the deadline, there's two guys. The Jets
will go out and get two guys. One of them's
playing in this game right now, and that's Kirk Cousins.
Even though he didn't want to go there a few
years ago. If the Vikings are and the Vikings are
going to start zero to two. If the Vikings are bad,
because Kirk Cousins this is the last year of.

His contract, thirty five million dollar deal.

The Vikings will trade Kirk Cousins to the Jets and
they will move on from Kirk Cousins and get ready
to go for next year. The other guy is Ryan
Tannehill because the Titans, if they stink all right, they're
gonna want to move on. We're gonna play our guys,
want to play Will Levis. When maybe Malik Willis, whoever
knows you, whoever knows you want to play, maybe kry
Collins comes back, they will move on. Those are the

two guys that the Jets will trade for. That's it.
That's your list. That is your list of players who
will be available that could take over for Zach Wilson,
Kirk Cousins, Ryan Tannell. Because the Jets are not gonna
Matthew Stafford. Matthew Stafford's do way too much money.

Let's get several years left and you're already on the
hook for not happen. Rogers not happening if he's coming
back yet.

You're not taking on salary, You're not taking on anything
that's gonna hurt you in twenty twenty four. You're not
doing it. You are taking on a quarterback that you
can walk away from after this year. Those are your
two guys. Those are your two veterans that will cost
you nothing that you'll be able to say, let's go
get both of these guys. Let's go get one of these.
That's where the Jets are going, Zach Wilson, Kirk Cousins,

Ryan Tannehill in that order, and the worst the Vikings do.
So I'm rooting against the Vikings because in case the
Jets need somebody, Kirk Cousins, Kirk Cousins, Kirk and the
same thing Ryan teded. Those are the guys that they
would go get to keep this season afloat. That's it.
That's the list, those two guys. But that's in a
few weeks.

Well, Ryan Tannehill may become very available, very quickly, based
on what Mike Vrabel had to say in his in
his comment a little earlier, if they just continue to
be a bit of a struggle. This week they face
the Chargers, Frostburg will be there live and in living color, uh,
to let us know all about that thing. Yeah, he's

he He will literally be the twelfth man, uh, trying
to tackle Derrick Henry, but legitimately like Rabel already. And
that's the thing this year. You know, I talked about injuries.
We always get into offensive line play. We love to
do that here on the show, uh, because it's one
lost in the trenches. But we've also had a guy's
gotten pretty bold with some of their commentary. You heard

Austin Eckler talking about health, talking about coaching, and really
laying it out in media appearances. This week Vrabel going
after decision making up for Tannehill and really getting aggressive,
I think in terms of his commentary there about taking
care of the football. So when we look at it, yeah,

Mike Malik, Willis get another run. And then if it
goes bad and when they cut these guys loose, it
becomes a situation whereby it's all right, well, let's see
if will Levis can become the guy. But if the
season really does go to hell, Now you've got a
bunch of quarterbacks coming in to the league next year
because they're also dealing this week. DeAndre Hopkins isn't practicing

careln Burt's is still ify and spotty in terms of
his day to day. So, I mean, you've got questions
already going into a week two with a team that
is built to be smash mouth into bludging you. And
you got a quarterback that's that question. Yeah, it's a
very short list. Three guys, one of whom we already
just categorically ruled out. Tom Brady hate walking.

think also last year they had a lot of games
that they were kind of miracle games, right, And they
look when when Quincy and the GM over there and
Kevin o'conmen came in, they had a few year plan,

like hey, get rid of Talvic Cook and what are they.

I think they's like a four year plan or some
long those lives. And you know, all of a sudden
last year they kind of shocked the world. They don't

I think even without Aaron, they're not as much a
pickle as we think, as long as that doesn't screw
it up everybody else. And that's all they need from
They don't need them. They don't need the same expectations
they had when they took.

Cowboys could be pretty good too, Oh my god, they're
Super Bowl favorites. You buying the hype for the Cowboys
after Week one against the Giants, Well that was.

That was a man, You can't anything take away from them,
right yet they were take away fromall they were. But
plus also Dallas always comes like with so much expectations,
so they have more than just a normal They don't
just play their opponent, They play all.

The expectations you know they have.

I would say that Dallas Cowboys and the Yankee at
the Red Sox, the Celtics, the Lakers all wrapped up
in won you know, so there's they're always battlings of us.
So for them to go out and put a performance.

Like that, yeah, I think you gotta be buyting Cowboys
all right.

Let me that's the obvious follow up question. The Giants
and the Steelers, what the hell happened?

I think the Giants just kind of kind of go
back to what they did offensive in last year. But
before even like before the Giants defense gave up a point,
they were a down sixteen nothing just from turnovers for

never ever ever had a losing season, never, so he

makes better adjustments during the year than any coach.

We need to be one hundred percent Choret just go
for it. And all of a sudden, man, that numbers
came all the way down and the Giants is out
in the wildcard going to win the Super Bowl. So look,
if you look at them, we've won that year. He
would say, Oh, it's team they They had the biggest
upset in Super Bowl history by beating the Patriots that year.

trade deadline. If the Jets are sitting at three and four,
four and three, but Zach Wilson stinks and the Vikings
are two and six or one and seven, hey guess what? Hey,
how about you give us Kirk Cousins for the net.
I told you Cousins and Ryan Tannehill. Those are the
two guys the Jets can go get at the trade deadline.

That will take take the job from Zach Wilson. That's it.
Then nobody else is coming. Now it's Zack Wilson's job.
The next six weeks. Nobody else coming is better. Everybody

get to six weeks from now, the Jets are in it.

three touchdowns. The Justin Jefferson play reaching for the pylon
at the end of the first half is the biggest

play of the game. Instead of a first and goal
at the one and you're gonna take a fourteen to
ten lead. Justin Jefferson, catching a thirty yard pass, decides,
I want to try to put the ball over the pilon. Oh,
it's a player's instincts. No, you tell them not to
do that. We've seen it so many times. Don't do it.
If it's if it's a winner, go home play. Yes,
try to put the ball over the goal line. But

if you don't have to, don't do it. Because the
bad is really bad. What does Justin Jefferson do instead
of first down and goal at the one half yard line,
you're getting in the end zone. He fumbles it through
the end zone, touchback, the Eagles take over, They go

for the Vikings. That play. Still, all this offense, everything
we've seen it just by drives me so crazy when
I see players do that, because nothing good comes it.

you don't do it. And he's the best receiver in

the NFL. He's got to know, all right, I just

and it's a different game if he just holds onto
the football.

his surgery today, right, We didn't know when he was
having it, and he let everybody know, Hey, I had
my surgery wednesday. I'm feeling great. Same doctor that worked
on Tom Brady when he got hurt in two thousand
and eight. Great, feeling great about it.

Oh that means there's a lot of surgery's in between there.
He's really skills well in two thousand and eight. Now, Well,
but you talking about eighteen years of innovation.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
Yeah, but I get it. What you gonna say, Hey,
and you know Jim dalrymple, boy, he really is running around. Granted,
who's Jim dwro no Tom Brady, the guy that worked
on Tom Brady. But we talked to Jordan Schultz last
night and he said, ay, you know, the Jets right now,
they see him all in on on Zach Wilson. But
in a few weeks we'll see. I'll tell you this
and I'll give you I'll pinpoint stuff for you. Zach

Wilson is the best choice for the Jets right now.
He's not a great choice, but he's the best choice.
Why because he knows the team, he knows the offense.
They have confidence in him. Right now. He's gonna have
Aaron Rodgers helping him. He looked a little bit better.
There is nobody who can put in there or trade
for or sign off the street. That's going to be
an improvement because a no team is trading you their

backup quarter. It's great to say, go get Andy Dalton,
go get Jameis Winston. None of these teams are trading
their guys. That's just stupid. That's just again, there were
so many stupid people this week when he came to
what the Jets should do. Nobody's trading their guys. As
we mentioned her you mentioned earlier this week seventy five
guys played quarterback last year after Week one, no one
is trading their backup. No one's doing it. They're not
doing it. It's just stupid to say that. So if

you said it, I'm sorry, but you're stupid.

And how many of the backups are any good anyway?
Speaker 5 (07:12):
Right?

No, exactly.

Of those guys are coming in and and and because
no one's gonna trade then, so now you're talking about
the guys off the street, Matt Ryan or Philip Rivers.
These guys are unemployed for a reason. If it's not
Tom Brady, you don't want a guy coming off the
street because it's not gonna help. It's Zach better for
better or for worse. They need to be Zach Wilson
driven because he is the best choice for now. Now
is it a great choice. No, but it's the best choice. Now.

You get to the trading deadline, Okay, get to the
trading deadline, and the Jets are hanging around the playoff picture.
They're not done. I told you they're gonna win ten
games go to the playoffs. But let's just say we
got to get to get No, no, no, we're winning ten
games to get into the playoffs. But let me throw
this out there, because I got names, because I got names.
I got names. I got names. You made it personal.

I got names. Let's say you get close to the
deadline and the Jets are hovering. They're not out of it,
they're around five hundred. They're playing well, but Zach Wilson
just stinks. All right, Zack Wilson's just not what they
thought he was going to do. They're not gonna give
this year away, so what are they gonna do?

Then they're gonna look and say, Okay, we're at the
trading deadline. What teams out there have not had to
start to the season they expected. They're sitting at one
and six, one and seven, and hey, you know what,
we may as well tank and try to get Caleb
Williams or somebody else, or Drake may or Sadur Sanders
or whoever else you want to get. This is not
working for us. We need to move on. When it

gets close to the deadline, there's two guys. The Jets
will go out and get two guys. One of them's
playing in this game right now, and that's Kirk Cousins.
Even though he didn't want to go there a few
years ago. If the Vikings are and the Vikings are
going to start zero to two. If the Vikings are bad,
because Kirk Cousins this is the last year of.

His contract, thirty five million dollar deal.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
The Vikings will trade Kirk Cousins to the Jets and
they will move on from Kirk Cousins and get ready
to go for next year. The other guy is Ryan
Tannehill because the Titans, if they stink all right, they're
gonna want to move on. We're gonna play our guys,
want to play Will Levis. When maybe Malik Willis, whoever
knows you, whoever knows you want to play, maybe kry
Collins comes back, they will move on. Those are the

two guys that the Jets will trade for. That's it.
That's your list. That is your list of players who
will be available that could take over for Zach Wilson,
Kirk Cousins, Ryan Tannell. Because the Jets are not gonna
Matthew Stafford. Matthew Stafford's do way too much money.

Let's get several years left and you're already on the
hook for not happen. Rogers not happening if he's coming
back yet.

You're not taking on salary, You're not taking on anything
that's gonna hurt you in twenty twenty four. You're not
doing it. You are taking on a quarterback that you
can walk away from after this year. Those are your
two guys. Those are your two veterans that will cost
you nothing that you'll be able to say, let's go
get both of these guys. Let's go get one of these.
That's where the Jets are going, Zach Wilson, Kirk Cousins,

Ryan Tannehill in that order, and the worst the Vikings do.
So I'm rooting against the Vikings because in case the
Jets need somebody, Kirk Cousins, Kirk Cousins, Kirk and the
same thing Ryan teded. Those are the guys that they
would go get to keep this season afloat. That's it.
That's the list, those two guys. But that's in a
few weeks.

Well, Ryan Tannehill may become very available, very quickly, based
on what Mike Vrabel had to say in his in
his comment a little earlier, if they just continue to
be a bit of a struggle. This week they face
the Chargers, Frostburg will be there live and in living color, uh,
to let us know all about that thing. Yeah, he's
(10:43):
he He will literally be the twelfth man, uh, trying
to tackle Derrick Henry, but legitimately like Rabel already. And
that's the thing this year. You know, I talked about injuries.
We always get into offensive line play. We love to
do that here on the show, uh, because it's one
lost in the trenches. But we've also had a guy's
gotten pretty bold with some of their commentary. You heard
(11:07):
Austin Eckler talking about health, talking about coaching, and really
laying it out in media appearances. This week Vrabel going
after decision making up for Tannehill and really getting aggressive,
I think in terms of his commentary there about taking
care of the football. So when we look at it, yeah,
(11:30):
Mike Malik, Willis get another run. And then if it
goes bad and when they cut these guys loose, it
becomes a situation whereby it's all right, well, let's see
if will Levis can become the guy. But if the
season really does go to hell, Now you've got a
bunch of quarterbacks coming in to the league next year
because they're also dealing this week. DeAndre Hopkins isn't practicing
(11:52):
careln Burt's is still ify and spotty in terms of

That was a man, You can't anything take away from them,
right yet they were take away fromall they were. But
plus also Dallas always comes like with so much expectations,
so they have more than just a normal They don't
just play their opponent, They play all.

I would say that Dallas Cowboys and the Yankee at
the Red Sox, the Celtics, the Lakers all wrapped up
in won you know, so there's they're always battlings of us.
So for them to go out and put a performance.

never ever ever had a losing season, never, so he

makes better adjustments during the year than any coach.

per game, and then it was like they all sat down,

we're kind of ninety five percent shirt we're doing here.
We need to be one hundred percent Choret just go
for it. And all of a sudden, man, that numbers
came all the way down and the Giants is out
in the wildcard going to win the Super Bowl. So look,
if you look at them, we've won that year. He
would say, Oh, it's team they They had the biggest
upset in Super Bowl history by beating the Patriots that year.
