to wind up going viral of an interaction that Brian
Dable and Daniel Jones had on the sideline. He had
to pick six a few minutes ago, Daniel Jones. It
made a twenty one to three and Daniel Jones comes
off the field and Brian Dabele gets in his face
and Daniel Jones kind of turns away, look up at
the scoreboard. I'm not gonna sit here and look at
the coach while he yells at me. Okay, we've seen
that before. Then there's video out there of Daniel Jones

sitting on the bench looking down in an iPad, Brian
Dable standing in front of Daniel Jones with an iPad
in his hand, and Brian Dabele had had enough, apparently
of Daniel Jones took the iPad that was in his hands,
flipped it and walked away with a disgusted look on
his face, almost as if in the back of his
mind you're hearing him say, we're to this guy for

three more years and one hundred and twenty million dollars.
We get this guy four years and one hundred and
sixty million. Oh. I really thought, I really thought it
was gonna work. And now look where it is. Well,
I mean, he'll always have Coach of the Year on
his resume. Yeah. Oh, Yeah, he'll have to put that
in a kirk Cousin's room, Like that's a that's a
that's a a kirk Cousins room where you put all

your memorabilia. When you don't want to put it out
to people see it, just put in a room so
you can look at it. It's just tough, right because

made the best that he could of it last year,

contract year. He played really well. And then the giants decide, hey, okay,

does he need to show you again? Because if you
showed me for one year in a contract year, sorry,

bit more often. You're gonna use Blake Snell as the

is the Blake Snell of quarterbacks. Yeah, I mean, I
know you can go back and look at you last

the decision to make, and it's the unfortunate one for teams.
And look, we can all say they chose poorly. I'm

but then you went quantity over quality when it came
to the wide receivers and you brought in Waller. Great,
he's one man and he's never healthy. You talk about
the guy look and there's many ways. Again, we talked
a lot about Daniel Jones. We'll talking more about him.

I mean you can complete him for five yards top
and pray for yet. But the whole notion of his
capability was debunked tonight. I mean, but look, but look

at Darren Waller. Okay, he's he's through three games. He's
caught twelve balls in three games, and he was the
difference maker. And it's not like he's not It's not
like even he's out like Okay, well, he's gonna be
great for six weeks and then he's gonna get hurt,

but he was getting the questionable tag immediately, right, Yeah,
but he he is. He's been, he's been, he has disappeared.

decent game, right, the win against Arizona wasn't bad. That

passes in that game, six passes that game. He's got
six passes in the other three games, and he was
the guy they were designing the passing game around and

I mean, I don't know what. Tell me one part
of the Giants where you go, oh hey, they have

that to hang their hat on. Right. Daniel Jones is stunk.
Sa Kuon Barkley can't get on the field. Receiving corps
is terrible, offensive line is terrible. Defense can't play well enough.
Brian Dable has made many questions. I mean, it's not
like tonight he's made questionable decisions, but the previous three
weeks it's been head scratchers. There's nothing the Giant. There's
not one thing I can hang my hat on a
Giant fan and say, okay, let's start with this and

then let's build none of it. There's nothing. There's absolutely
nothing at all. I keep thinking of, I'm a Giants fan.
Is we're paying Daniel Jones all that money. We're paying
Daniel Jones all that money. We're paying them all that money. Now,
does Brian Dable get fined for breaking that iPad or whatever?
The tablet is? The surface those things are tough because
they kid they have the kid blue. You know, they
have the protective first in rank. You could drop off

for Sean Payton, after calling everybody out and trying to
be you know, the big man on campus and I'm
gonna kick you out of here and no access for you.
You beat it. That last coach was a disaster and
an affront to coaching. And then you gave up seventy

to the Dolphins. That first half was really cool, that
multiple Yeah, but at least you had that. The Giants
had no halfs, No, not the first half the Giants had.
Giants had nothing, absolutely nothing. They got no positive The

distraction with the game against the Bears. Nobody cared. Here's

at the game. You could have looped those shots from
like if you just had an ISO camera on her,

you would have had all sorts of reaction shots that
were never actually on cameras. Okay, so she could have
left after the first quarter, you would have been noneth
the wise, she's still here with with Blake Lively and
and and Ryan Reynolds. There's there. Yeah, they're at the
game again. Ookay, you're still there. Wonderful they're there. Uh,
this was give them the old razzle death. This was
so abysmal for the Giants. I can't even tell you,

like this is how bad it is. Obviously, when things
happen on a Monday night or Thursday night. It is
whatever happens, you multiply the impact by three. Sure, if
you throw for five touchdowns on a Monday night, that
you you multiply how great that is by three? Right?
If you throw a pick six and turn the ball

and you're Daniel Jones. Yeah, I guess what. You multiply
that by three. That's how bad it is. But I'm
not over selling it by saying how bad things are
for the Giants. I meant it a few minutes ago
when I said there's nothing you can hang your hat
on to say this team can can bounce back. What
are you going to do well? The defensive line. Defensive
line is not great. I mean, of all the problems

the defense, and the defensive line is probably your your
lowest one. But it's still an issue. They only gave
up to You gave up a touchdown on the third
bleep and play from Drew lock. You give a sixty
yard Drew Lock through for a bleep and fifty yard
touchdown to a guy who hasn't caught in a pass
since he came over in the trade with Drew over again,

it was a rushing touchdown. It is not a touchdown, right,
he didn't get called out. He was called down and
called out at the one. Okay, you gave up, but
you can you gave up an almost sixty yard touchdown
where he got called out at the one from Drew
Locke and Noah Fan. Now, the tackling effort on that
particular play downfield was an affront to defensive players everywhere

they all took offense collectively, they all hear it was
like the you know, it was a million screams with
the lack of ability. I'm gonna push him out the hood.
They were all crying out, and then they were silenced
as one know what happened to there. I'm gonna push
him out of bounds unless I'm not. But that's how
that's how bad this is. So now if you're the
Giants and it's like what the hell do we do? Now,

We'll get to the Seahawks in a second, because they
had a big win here and I understand, you know, listen,
I want to celebrate something because you know the Mariners.
But for the Giants, it's like what do you do?
Because this is not this is not a team This
is not a year where you can say, like, if
you're the Jets, right, let's say the Jets wind up
continue to have a bad year, what are they gonna say, Well,
we and have Rogers, right, so now Rogers comes back

next year and a great quarterback covers up whatever else
we lose from this year to Naxa, there's okay, this
is what we have to do next year. Right, this
is the one they were all supposed to be really good,
and he was just you know, but then they played
well in the second half, right, and they came back
and they should have won the game. But you other
teams that are bad, I can like the Bengals, I
can point to and say, hey, Joe Burrow is not

healthy and he covers up a lot of stuff, and
did you did you mismanage a little bit of your talent? Yeah,
maybe a little bit. But this is not anything other
than ah, you know that this is a this is
a bad season. Didn't start out well, Burrow was hurt,
but once he comes back, he's healthy. This giant says
like what what what what do you do? How do
you how do you say? Okay, now we're going to

make a positive of this and going forward, this is
how he even for next year, it's all Andrew Thomas
and Saquon Barkley, Like I wouldn't be surprised, Like I
wouldn't be surprised if the like at this point, the
Giants could be a teardown after this year, sure, because
Brian will still be the guy. Like the frustration with
Daniel Jones, it's gonna boil over, and Brian Dable will
still be the one who who wins that battle, because

Daniel Jones is the guy that came in on the
previous regime. He did, he got good under Brian Dable.
Now he's regressed. So if you're talking about the battle
of power, who's gonna win, It's gonna be Brian Dable.
But you're going to see a team then that tries
to move on from Daniel Jones. Hey, we can we
can move the guy, right any any any any contract
is tradable. If Aaron Rodgers can get traded, you can

take the players and right now, Jones. With the number
of guys coming out of college this next year, five
to seven, five to nine, there's a lot seven guys
in the first round. That's what I mean. There's a
lot of guys that are coming into him. Who the
hell is taken on that contract? Now, if you're talking
about it, even if the Giants will eat, well a
(21:54):
bunch of that contra, right, you can eat some of it,
right to move on. But who's bringing But it's great
they draft a quarterback. What team out there is sucker
enough to say we'll take the last three years at
any portion of that contract instead of drafting a quarterback
of their own. Well, it's gonna be. It's gonna be
teams in the back half of the first round that

aren't gonna be guaranteed to get that quarterback. They'll be
landing spots for him. Because you think of the five guys,
three or four are gonna go on the first four
or five picks, right, So you got to understand that. Okay,
so you know that that the bulk of them are
gonna go with in the first five or seven picks,
someone's gonna make an aggressive move to get up. You're
picking the back half of the first round. Maybe you
get a guy now, I really don't. It really gets
more interesting if both Caleb Williams and Shador Sanders say yeah,
(22:39):
not today, but we'renna stick around in the college game.
You also have the potential out after twenty you know,
after twenty twenty four for Daniel Jones. So it's not
like you're on the hook for all of it. You'd
be on the hook for Daniel Jones next year for
thirty five million. Okay, so you're on the hook for
that for thirty five million by signing bonus of nine million,
(23:00):
So you're out hooked for that. But for one year
for Daniel Jones, if you think maybe we can move
him around a little bit, maybe we can do things,
get him back to be in the quarterback he was.
That's something we can do and then if we if
we want to keep we can keep him. And if not,
we can get out of it. Who's the coach that
would think he can solve it. Oh, there's the passing side.
(23:21):
Because we like the athleticism of Daniel Jones. I don't
think anybody denies that. It's just how do you take
it to where it's a more consistent passing game Like
tonight was just a joke and one of those burned
the tape kind of films, because yeah, he made a
couple of horrible mistakes. He also had one one thousand
(23:41):
before someone was on top of him and that ain't
changing anytime soon. And that's the hard part now. But
here's but here's but here's the other thing that goes
in Daniel Jones. How you can trade Daniel Jones is
that there's been enough I seen the last couple of
years with rookie quarterbacks of a boy. It's much more
of a crap shoot than it is it used to be. Hey,
these are the three guys. If there's four quarterbacks, three

of them will be good, one of them will stink.
We think we can get the right guy. But now
the last couple of years, guys going in the first
round are Zach Wilson and Kenny Pickett. And you know,
are these guys good? You're getting a guy in Daniel
Jones who's been in the NFL, who understands can hit
the ground running with whatever new team he winds up with,
and can digest a new playbook, get a fresh start.
(24:26):
And he's a known quantity. He's still young, he's a
known quantity that you have seen play at a highish
level that maybe, okay, in one year we can get
back there again, just not in progress. Whereas okay, what, Yeah,
take the Johnt ticket, then play every game at one
o'clock on a Sunday. Every game one o'clock on a Sunday.
But there are teams that, depending on where they're draft.
You think if Bill Belichick is still around next year,
(24:46):
he wouldn't kick Mac Jones at the curb for one
year of Daniel Jones. Let me see what I could
do with him. He wants a mobile quarterback to run.
He wouldn't do that for Daniel Jones, of course he
would think the Raiders wouldn't take a shot. The Raiders
are stuck right now. They wouldn't take a shot with

you're thinking, do we need to move on from Daniel

about in the NFL, a great quarterback covers up a
lot of ills, even on the offensive line. And right
now that's the conversation. Can we keep Daniel Jones or
do we have to trade a move on? Do we
have to start over? You have to Let's say Kwon
Barkley go because the guy can't stay healthy, and yet
you know he so happens when he had a contract

year coming. It could be an entirely new team there
next year. That's the conversation right now. Do we need
to go on with a new quarterback or can we

Now he doesn't come back, but you've already been working
without him for a long time, so it's not like
that's that's a loss that you hadn't already accounted for.
Your defense is starting to play a little bit better,
but not quite where it is. And you're talking about
a schedule that sees you play at Cincinnati, Arizona, Cleveland,
at Baltimore, Washington and the Rams. Those are all winnable games.

There's only one game. They'll go in there probably as
an underdog, and that's the game to Baltimore, because they're
playing at Baltimore, would probably be a two or two
and a half point spread. They will go into every
other one of those games as favorites because the Seahawks
are a pretty complete team. They're pretty good all over.

playing back to form. Yeah, and now they're in they're

still not as good as they need to be. We'll
be having that conversation. Are the Seahawks one of the
best teams in the NFL, because right now they're they're

the scoreboard. I'm not gonna sit here and look at

sitting on the bench looking down in an iPad, Brian
Dable standing in front of Daniel Jones with an iPad
in his hand, and Brian Dabele had had enough, apparently
of Daniel Jones took the iPad that was in his hands,
flipped it and walked away with a disgusted look on
his face, almost as if in the back of his
mind you're hearing him say, we're to this guy for

three more years and one hundred and twenty million dollars.
We get this guy four years and one hundred and
sixty million. Oh. I really thought, I really thought it
was gonna work. And now look where it is. Well,
I mean, he'll always have Coach of the Year on

in a kirk Cousin's room, Like that's a that's a
that's a a kirk Cousins room where you put all

your memorabilia. When you don't want to put it out
to people see it, just put in a room so

really strike you as Hey, I I our this is

the guy we drafted number one in the first round,
number six overall. Even though I inherited him, he's still
someone we have to make things work. I never got
the sense that Brian Dabel came in saying, hey, you
and I are going to take over this league together, right,
I know, I never got that from him. I got

made the best that he could of it last year,

and Daniel Jones played very well, and we in a
contract year. He played really well. And then the giants decide, hey, okay,

And it's like, oh, is he really getting better or
does he need to show you again? Because if you
showed me for one year in a contract year, sorry,
Blake Snell, now I need to see it a little
bit more often. You're gonna use Blake Snell as the

is the Blake Snell of quarterbacks. Yeah, I mean, I
know you can go back and look at you last

the decision to make, and it's the unfortunate one for teams.

this gets that much better. It was, well, we did,
but then you went quantity over quality when it came
to the wide receivers and you brought in Waller. Great,
he's one man and he's never healthy. You talk about
the guy look and there's many ways. Again, we talked
a lot about Daniel Jones. We'll talking more about him.

name right there because of all the changes the Giants made.

I mean you can complete him for five yards top
and pray for yet. But the whole notion of his
capability was debunked tonight. I mean, but look, but look

at Darren Waller. Okay, he's he's through three games. He's
caught twelve balls in three games, and he was the
difference maker. And it's not like he's not It's not
like even he's out like Okay, well, he's gonna be
great for six weeks and then he's gonna get hurt,

but he was getting the questionable tag immediately, right, Yeah,
but he he is. He's been, he's been, he has disappeared.

I know the overall march towards the first and second
overall pick is in a lot of people's minds because
they do have Carolina's first pick. But there was something
about if they'd gone and dominated and beaten the hell
out of the Broncos, that would have been fun. Given

through three weeks a very dismal return to the NFL
for Sean Payton, after calling everybody out and trying to
be you know, the big man on campus and I'm
gonna kick you out of here and no access for you.
You beat it. That last coach was a disaster and
an affront to coaching. And then you gave up seventy

to the Dolphins. That first half was really cool, that
multiple Yeah, but at least you had that. The Giants
had no halfs, No, not the first half the Giants had.
Giants had nothing, absolutely nothing. They got no positive The
most positive play was a fifty five yard d Jason.
You know what, the Giants need Taylor Swift. But I

mean that that would have worked, right. We had the
distraction with the game against the Bears. Nobody cared. Here's
the ratio. She went on the first quarter of this
game and said, I've I've had enough, I'm leaving. But
but they would have gotten as the first cutout of me.
But here's the thing. It look like I'm still there
at the game. You could have looped those shots from
like if you just had an ISO camera on her,

you would have had all sorts of reaction shots that
were never actually on cameras. Okay, so she could have
left after the first quarter, you would have been noneth
the wise, she's still here with with Blake Lively and
and and Ryan Reynolds. There's there. Yeah, they're at the
game again. Ookay, you're still there. Wonderful they're there. Uh,
this was give them the old razzle death. This was
so abysmal for the Giants. I can't even tell you,

like this is how bad it is. Obviously, when things
happen on a Monday night or Thursday night. It is
whatever happens, you multiply the impact by three. Sure, if
you throw for five touchdowns on a Monday night, that
you you multiply how great that is by three? Right?
If you throw a pick six and turn the ball

over a few times, you go to one and three
and you're Daniel Jones. Yeah, I guess what. You multiply
that by three. That's how bad it is. But I'm
not over selling it by saying how bad things are
for the Giants. I meant it a few minutes ago
when I said there's nothing you can hang your hat
on to say this team can can bounce back. What
are you going to do well? The defensive line. Defensive
line is not great. I mean, of all the problems

the defense, and the defensive line is probably your your
lowest one. But it's still an issue. They only gave
up to You gave up a touchdown on the third
bleep and play from Drew lock. You give a sixty
yard Drew Lock through for a bleep and fifty yard
touchdown to a guy who hasn't caught in a pass
since he came over in the trade with Drew over again,

it was a rushing touchdown. It is not a touchdown, right,
he didn't get called out. He was called down and
called out at the one. Okay, you gave up, but
you can you gave up an almost sixty yard touchdown
where he got called out at the one from Drew
Locke and Noah Fan. Now, the tackling effort on that
particular play downfield was an affront to defensive players everywhere

they all took offense collectively, they all hear it was
like the you know, it was a million screams with
the lack of ability. I'm gonna push him out the hood.
They were all crying out, and then they were silenced
as one know what happened to there. I'm gonna push
him out of bounds unless I'm not. But that's how
that's how bad this is. So now if you're the
Giants and it's like what the hell do we do? Now,

We'll get to the Seahawks in a second, because they
had a big win here and I understand, you know, listen,
I want to celebrate something because you know the Mariners.
But for the Giants, it's like what do you do?
Because this is not this is not a team This
is not a year where you can say, like, if
you're the Jets, right, let's say the Jets wind up
continue to have a bad year, what are they gonna say, Well,
we and have Rogers, right, so now Rogers comes back

next year and a great quarterback covers up whatever else
we lose from this year to Naxa, there's okay, this
is what we have to do next year. Right, this
is the one they were all supposed to be really good,
and he was just you know, but then they played
well in the second half, right, and they came back
and they should have won the game. But you other
teams that are bad, I can like the Bengals, I
can point to and say, hey, Joe Burrow is not

healthy and he covers up a lot of stuff, and
did you did you mismanage a little bit of your talent? Yeah,
maybe a little bit. But this is not anything other
than ah, you know that this is a this is
a bad season. Didn't start out well, Burrow was hurt,
but once he comes back, he's healthy. This giant says
like what what what what do you do? How do
you how do you say? Okay, now we're going to

make a positive of this and going forward, this is
how he even for next year, it's all Andrew Thomas
and Saquon Barkley, Like I wouldn't be surprised, Like I
wouldn't be surprised if the like at this point, the
Giants could be a teardown after this year, sure, because
Brian will still be the guy. Like the frustration with
Daniel Jones, it's gonna boil over, and Brian Dable will
still be the one who who wins that battle, because

Daniel Jones is the guy that came in on the
previous regime. He did, he got good under Brian Dable.
Now he's regressed. So if you're talking about the battle
of power, who's gonna win, It's gonna be Brian Dable.
But you're going to see a team then that tries
to move on from Daniel Jones. Hey, we can we
can move the guy, right any any any any contract
is tradable. If Aaron Rodgers can get traded, you can

take the players and right now, Jones. With the number
of guys coming out of college this next year, five
to seven, five to nine, there's a lot seven guys
in the first round. That's what I mean. There's a
lot of guys that are coming into him. Who the
hell is taken on that contract? Now, if you're talking
about it, even if the Giants will eat, well a

bunch of that contra, right, you can eat some of it,
right to move on. But who's bringing But it's great
they draft a quarterback. What team out there is sucker
enough to say we'll take the last three years at
any portion of that contract instead of drafting a quarterback
of their own. Well, it's gonna be. It's gonna be
teams in the back half of the first round that

aren't gonna be guaranteed to get that quarterback. They'll be
landing spots for him. Because you think of the five guys,
three or four are gonna go on the first four
or five picks, right, So you got to understand that. Okay,
so you know that that the bulk of them are
gonna go with in the first five or seven picks,
someone's gonna make an aggressive move to get up. You're
picking the back half of the first round. Maybe you
get a guy now, I really don't. It really gets
more interesting if both Caleb Williams and Shador Sanders say yeah,

not today, but we'renna stick around in the college game.
You also have the potential out after twenty you know,
after twenty twenty four for Daniel Jones. So it's not
like you're on the hook for all of it. You'd
be on the hook for Daniel Jones next year for
thirty five million. Okay, so you're on the hook for
that for thirty five million by signing bonus of nine million,
(23:00):
So you're out hooked for that. But for one year
for Daniel Jones, if you think maybe we can move
him around a little bit, maybe we can do things,
get him back to be in the quarterback he was.
That's something we can do and then if we if
we want to keep we can keep him. And if not,
we can get out of it. Who's the coach that
would think he can solve it. Oh, there's the passing side.

Because we like the athleticism of Daniel Jones. I don't
think anybody denies that. It's just how do you take
it to where it's a more consistent passing game Like
tonight was just a joke and one of those burned
the tape kind of films, because yeah, he made a
couple of horrible mistakes. He also had one one thousand
(23:41):
before someone was on top of him and that ain't
changing anytime soon. And that's the hard part now. But
here's but here's but here's the other thing that goes
in Daniel Jones. How you can trade Daniel Jones is
that there's been enough I seen the last couple of
years with rookie quarterbacks of a boy. It's much more
of a crap shoot than it is it used to be. Hey,
these are the three guys. If there's four quarterbacks, three

of them will be good, one of them will stink.
We think we can get the right guy. But now
the last couple of years, guys going in the first
round are Zach Wilson and Kenny Pickett. And you know,
are these guys good? You're getting a guy in Daniel
Jones who's been in the NFL, who understands can hit
the ground running with whatever new team he winds up with,
and can digest a new playbook, get a fresh start.

And he's a known quantity. He's still young, he's a
known quantity that you have seen play at a highish
level that maybe, okay, in one year we can get
back there again, just not in progress. Whereas okay, what, Yeah,
take the Johnt ticket, then play every game at one
o'clock on a Sunday. Every game one o'clock on a Sunday.
But there are teams that, depending on where they're draft.
You think if Bill Belichick is still around next year,
(24:46):
he wouldn't kick Mac Jones at the curb for one
year of Daniel Jones. Let me see what I could
do with him. He wants a mobile quarterback to run.
He wouldn't do that for Daniel Jones, of course he
would think the Raiders wouldn't take a shot. The Raiders
are stuck right now. They wouldn't take a shot with
Daniel Jones. Of course they would, right. You think this Deelers,
what you're gonna keep Kenny picking around from hey, hey, hey,
we're gonna finish around five hundred. Wait, let's go get
Daniel just there. Now, there's teams that could do. We

want to talk about it. Disappointing right there. I know
I know they want to talk, but I just in
terms of Week four effort and Houston was one of
your upset specials, uh and that offensive line coming in
Nobody plans like all right, T J. Watt's gonna be
able to. Nope, doesn't matter. CJ. Stroud still getting it done.

But you know what, Jacksonville, if they didn't have the
fair haired Trevor Lawrence, who some of it said, he's
just a longer haired, tight shirt. Wow, I have heard
that around the last that that works. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
both Trevor Lawrence and Alexander Tischer. We're waiting to see
them hit most of their the the level they should
get to. Still waiting to see them ascend a little

bit more and be a little bit more consistent. That's
a fair assessment. Okay, that's good. He looked really good
in that Toy story game though. He was winging it
and he and he had the the the Jets on
at one point, rightils sure, But but you think about
the teams that would do it that don't want to
start over with a rookie quarterback, because some teams that
are going from a rookie quarterback that's not working, to
have them start over with the other rookie quarterback, they're

not down with that. Like Atlanta, they're gonna go draft
another guy. We're gonna stick with Desert that right. I'm
down with that. I'm down with that. I'm down with that.
I'm calling that. I'm calling a flag, all right. Like
a team, like a team like the Bears, are they
gonna say, no, we're going unless we're drafting number one.
We're gonna go in and get another rookie quarterback and
see if and see if that works. Or woul Daniel
Jones appeal to them? Daniel Jones has a lot that's
gonna be an entirely new staff, perhaps including the general manager.
(26:36):
Before it's all said, none, you laugh. I think it's
entirely possible that all those guys are gone. The Bears
may finally fire someone with years left on a contract.
This is such a train wreck. But but think about
That's where you are. If you're the Giants. From now,
you're thinking, do we need to move on from Daniel
Jones at some point, whether it's whether you want to
(26:56):
blame him or the offensive line. One thing you know
about in the NFL, a great quarterback covers up a
lot of ills, even on the offensive line. And right
now that's the conversation. Can we keep Daniel Jones or
do we have to trade a move on? Do we
have to start over? You have to Let's say Kwon
Barkley go because the guy can't stay healthy, and yet
you know he so happens when he had a contract
(27:16):
year coming. It could be an entirely new team there
next year. That's the conversation right now. Do we need
to go on with a new quarterback or can we
keep Daniel Jones? And I'm telling you you can move
on from him. There'll be other teams. We'll say, okay,
but you can move on somebody complete and completely. Maybe
Justin Field is playing for the Giants next year.

Rams are just Okay, they did beat you. You are

you are. You're a different team. This is a game.
If you play that game now, that's a different game.
Then you're on the road. That's a different game. And

that looks to me like EH playing at Baltimore. Sure,
but the Seahawks are pretty good and that gives the
Ravens another month to lose another They're still not. The

thing about the Seahawks is they're still not the team
they will be because they're still trying to figure things out.
They still have not really incorporated Jackson Smith the jigbit
into the offense. Yet the guy gets a couple of
looks every game, and he needs the ball more. Zach
Charbonay is still trying to figure out his way in defensively.
Now they're gonna figure out more time Jamal Adams comes back.

Now he doesn't come back, but you've already been working
without him for a long time, so it's not like
that's that's a loss that you hadn't already accounted for.
Your defense is starting to play a little bit better,
but not quite where it is. And you're talking about
a schedule that sees you play at Cincinnati, Arizona, Cleveland,
at Baltimore, Washington and the Rams. Those are all winnable games.

There's only one game. They'll go in there probably as
an underdog, and that's the game to Baltimore, because they're
playing at Baltimore, would probably be a two or two
and a half point spread. They will go into every
other one of those games as favorites because the Seahawks
are a pretty complete team. They're pretty good all over.
Oh we thought that coming in and now they're just
playing back to form. Yeah, and now they're in they're

still not as good as they need to be. We'll
be having that conversation. Are the Seahawks one of the
best teams in the NFL, because right now they're they're
they're they're a notch below the best team. They're notch
below the forty nine ers, They're notch below the Chiefs
or notch below some of those teams. But looking at
looking ahead, yeah, we can we easily gonna be having
that conversation. I don't know that. I don't know that
i'd say there are notch below the Chiefs. The way

the Chiefs have chief still found a way to win. Now,
she's still found it right in terms of you know,
style points, we want to talk aesthetics and where you
have questions. These guys are just pushing ahead, right and
this is a game. You beat the hell out of
Daniel Jones. You embarrassed the Giants. Just saw a shot

of him on the monitor, deer in the headlight kind
of look. Answering questions. Can't wait to hear a block
of that a little bit later. But with the Chiefs,
you've got personnel questions that still need to be answered,
Like Isaiah Pachek over the backfield. Fine, receiving corps beyond Kelsey,
and he takes away a lot of ick. But you

watch what the Jets were able to do. You've seen
teams be able to battle them, and yeah, they shot
themselves in the foot a number of times. People are
hanging their hat on a mid sixties QBR for Zach Wilson,
he outrated Patrick Mahomes, Like, really, that means they were
both terrible by these metrics. But I would say the Seahawks,

I'd put them higher in my power rankings right now.
They might up with the best record of the NFL
at that point. I said they could be nine and one.
They might. They might the best record of the NFL
at that point because of that skiny look out. Look
out for the Seahaw geto, Geo, and sorry about the Mariners.
