will see you on April sixth for the final four
Syracuse come back tonight on Grade. Charge your fan. You
lost of the lions and take it you barely squeaked

(01:13):
by Colgate he lost of them the last two years. No, No,
here's the question if they had lost tonight, would Autry
have been fired? Would he have been left on the TARMACTA.
I would have just shown in the locker room he
did show. Yeah, I'll take the questions. I'm coming now, Bay,
I would have come back. They were down twenty four
in the second half to Colgate, and now I'm like, boy,

(01:34):
all the good feelings. Adrian Autrey every the biggest story
in college basketball this year. You know Autry for the
first time. You know it's the Bilgima, the biggest coach,
the biggest coaching changeing in college basketball. It's the biggest
coaching about it. We are now. I know we'll tame
back from down twenty four in the second half because
I'm forced to, because you are a Syracuse alump. That's

(01:55):
the only way that coaching Jane's getting any run. Behan,
see you later. You got your one. Now we move
on and then we're looking at the rest of college basketball. Also,
it is November fourteen, Yeah, three and oh about basketball?
Three and oh. But let me you know, listen, I
November four Let me just say, I'll leave you guys,

(02:16):
because I've been longer than no. No, I'm proud I've
been leaving. You got to leave you guys with this one.
We're talking about practice. How would Berman announce Syracuse winning
this game?

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Boy?

Speaker 1 (02:24):
How it turns up? How would Berman out series winning
this game? All right, get it over. I'm now counting
you down like you're at the pre j DJ Big
Nights from Juda Mins and Chris Bell. Also very clutch
play by JJ Starling, who made the Lamb stop screaming
and made the dome crowd start DJ. You practice for that, man?

(02:46):
That was you know what, it's the traffic here look
nationwide world blowing up on the under the ten right,
I mean everything traffic is awful. That means you you
were workshopping that for what an hour? Oh? Yeah, yeah,
I was that one. What starling line do I give

(03:06):
from silence to the lads? What starling line do I give? O?
Qut show cute yoe? Really? Yeah? Fairly squeaked by Skyke. No,
but it doesn't matter. A win is a win. Since
I did see Coach cal up on my screen earlier.
Final four, we'll just steal from him. Why you are squeaks, Galari?
We are three and oh and you want to spend

(03:27):
time talking about James Harden. The Clippers are over seventeen
and without them, and they're gonna We're gonna lose tonight. Garbage, Syracuse.
You're already losing tonight. They haven't even started yet and
they're already losing James Arden. It's already his.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Only reason Syracuse has ever been relevant is for a
guy that's no longer with the team.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
It doesn't matter three and oh three and oh twenty
four point comeback in the second half. You're not even
ranked twenty five. We will be after this one off. Sure, Yeah, dude.
It's like watching the game the game tonight, like watching
and listening coming in. I'm like, this is like the
nineteen fifties, where like Colegate was like the big power
and Syracuse like just some up and coming team, some
rando team, like when first started at Colgate, when they

(04:07):
had like that, you know, a run of ten Patriot
League championships, when that was the best college basketball on
Coldgate the nineteen forties and fifties. They would score thirty
thirty two points a game. It was awesome. Q show,
Q show. Okay, get that out of your system. Last
time we got the NBA, because we've got more in
season tournament games tonight, we do, we do, and we

(04:27):
had and again Clippers and Nuggets about to tip off.
James Harden, still looking for his first win in the NBA.
Bason to the game that twenty twenty one Lebron James
will play tonight. How about that he was in, he
was out, he was in, he was out. Now he's
in against the Grizzlies. You see kid the other day

(04:48):
he did that was pretty cool. Yeah, they thought they
were really close. They had they had some quality ties
during the break, during the time out, during the time
out instead of helping out or whatever. Yeah, everything's all good.
And then we got our first and it really wasn't
much of a battle Chet versus Wemby. Yeah, although the

(05:08):
the picture of the first tip off of Chet Wemby,
that's pretty cool picture. Like three years ago that would
be like a five hundred thousand dollars. That is a
pretty cool picture. I mean, these guys are like nineteen
feet in the air, I mean dead. That picture of
them that's going viral right now of them jumping up
high pointing the ball for the for the opening tip,
that's a pretty cool You'll be able to buy that
as a Panini instant card tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Mike, you got to explain the millennials. What the hell
a NFT is? Man, I gotta explain the millennials. Who
chet Holgrin is? That's true, I mean non funnieser daddy.
But yeah, big game tonight one, twenty three eighty seven,
your final Oklahoma City with a massive win.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
So we'll have more NBA on the way. But speaking
of college you know Syracuse one but college football, the
playoff rankings are out again and not a lot of
change unless you really are crazy that Oh my goodness,
Georgia jumped Ohio State. The top fourteen in the country
are to No. One. Surprised Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, Florida State,

(06:05):
Washington still on the outside looking at at ten and
oh followed by Oregon, Texas, Alabama. Those are your No.
And One loss teams. Now, obviously Michigan Ohio State is
going They're gonna play each other in a few weeks.
The big questions that's gonna come out of this one
is do you take a one loss Michigan Ohio State
team over an undefeated and packed twelve champion Washington team.

(06:26):
That's gonna be fun. Yes, that's gonna be fun. But
this is where we're at with the the rankings right now,
and it's the same thing from a week ago, which
is the same thing from two weeks ago. All the
undefeated teams are still winning. The one loss teams are
still winning. And it's a shame. And I wish that
I could put this season back at the beginning of

(06:48):
the four team playoff, because you know, the twelve team
playoff is good. I don't know why people don't like it.
Well now I know why. Because if schools can pay
out Jimbo Fisher and not blink, they're making money. They
don't want to change. I get that. But for fans,
for us, the twelve team playoff is gonna be an
eye opener. It's gonna be so many more teams, and
there's so much more interest in it and the whole Oh,
it's got to be special. And for that's just the
load of crap. Man. You put twelve teams in, you

(07:10):
win your way in. You gotta win games to win.
We would have had a change. We would have had
a change much earlier if we had this kind of
season at the beginning where you are really looking at
big time heritage, high profile, top of the Power five
Conference teams potentially being left out of the playoff because

(07:31):
with Alabama Texas on the outside looking in with one
loss apiece, and you have these other teams that are undefeated,
you know how it's gonna go if this is the
way things continue on? Is Florida State deserve it? Did
they play a really good schedule? Do you gotta take
one loss? Michigan? Do you take they didn't have horror ball,
but they still want we have to take them? How
good is Georgia really? You know we're gonna get a
shot at them in the SEC championship game. All of

(07:54):
these things are pointing towards we are gonna see a
big time Power file team get left out that either
did everything you could possibly expect and still not get
in like Washington. Right, Let's say you let's say Michigan
and Ohio State play a forty two to thirty nine game, right,
and it's Washington continues to struggle like they have. Both

(08:16):
those teams are gonna get in, and you're gonna have
to sit here and say, sorry, Washington, we know you
an undefeated Power five conference. You won all your games,
you got top ten wins. You got two top ten wins.
Pretty good. Yeah, but you're on the outside looking in
or a one loss Alabama team that you're gonna say, sorry,
these other teams are all undefeated, so they all have
to get in ahead of you. Sorry about that, but
they all have to get in the hard part for
Washington is that you the snapshot a month ago looked

(08:41):
so much better, right before Colorado tanked, Before Chip Kelly
is now standing in front of the firing line, and
before USC started. Was Jimbo Fisher on UCLA campus today?
Was he seen walking? Was he buying a whole bunch
of hats and sweatshirts for his family? I don't know
that they're gonna give him the same sized novel teacher.
He's not home counting his money. He doesn't need it.
He that guy fuel for breaking back right now, laying

(09:03):
out a bed of money. Hey, I'll coach for free,
don't worry about it. No, I don't need and I'll
coach for free because you know this money I got
coming from an f for the next ten years. But
everybody getting so mad about that. It's like, why why
don't you not celebrate that guy? He got the bag
and he got fired and he got to walk away.
But but just on the larger scale, right, well, we

(09:25):
can talk about the the people that are getting the contracts, right.
That's they're two separate things. You get a contract like
that and have to be paid out. I mean, you won,
you won, They signed a bad deal. It's like whenever
a guy gets a guaranteed contract NBA, major League Baseball,
whatever team. If you if you got rooped into a

(09:46):
guy that his medicals were questionable, but you liked him
on name recognition, which I think is a lot of
the Jimbo Fisher thing. You got gout and that's the
way it goes. But to your point, like with Washington,
even if they finish undefeated, you've had a couple of
narrow escapes, and the conference as a whole doesn't look
nearly as good. It looks great as a data month.

(10:06):
Oh Man, back twelve to ten. Iowa may not score points,
they're eight and two. Yeah, Okay, you still got a
number of these teams that are battling Penn State and
they fire their OC But I mean there's still a
top twelve program right now after that loss, right, they're
still there. So you're looking at from a conference, strength
to schedule everything else. And that's part of the if

(10:28):
you really want to get into the semantics of hey,
I'm upset that we're not number one because you're the
buck has thirty ninth ranked strength to schedule versus seventy eighth. Yeah,
I draw, But I mean that's the way you get
people talking about the playoffs. But I don't think anybody
shuffling it up. Nobody really cares who's one through four.
Nobody really cares about that. It sounds like it's a
big deal. It's more about the teams that are on

(10:49):
the outside looking in. And it's one thing. And if
I keep saying this because it's the truth, it's one
thing when you are debating Cincinnati, who is not a
Power five team, or or a Boise State or an
Oklahoma State or a mid power five team that somehow
has a great year. Boy, can we do we allow
them in? Do u ce La get in? And they

(11:10):
were undefeated? Like for you eight, No, at one point,
it's one thing when you're talking about, Hey, these mid
power five programs that happen to have a big year,
that's not that big a deal. But Texas Alabama, Oregon,
Washington potentially undefeated. You're talking about these teams who have
been the rock stars of college ship money for everybody.

(11:32):
These teams get left out, forget it's like, you know
what it's like, especially Alabama, because when when do we
see change in Major League Baseball? For the longest time,
Baseball may change when something happened to the Yankees. Right
if something happens in the playoffs to the Twins and
the Tigers, we're not changing anything. But if something happens
to either favor or hurt the Yankees, we get changed.
Right It that happens when it happens to a big
time team, we get changed. If this happens to Alabama

(11:56):
and there's a one loss team that gets in over Alabama,
or even if a one loss Alabama a team just
doesn't get in, this would be where we would say
change everything. We need more teams in the playoffs every year.
This is not working and we would have gotten a
playoff years ago, years ago. If it happens to Texas,
same thing. Texas is royalty. Same thing with Oregon, even
though Oregon's kind of a latter day royalty. The last

(12:17):
twenty years, Oregon's been one of the top ten programs
in the country. You're talking about Heisman Trophy guys and
teams that are winning, winning Big ten Pack ten championships
and playing in the playoff. You're seeing all of this.
If it happened to one of these teams, we would
have had this twelve team playoff then next year. And
it's just so happens that it's happening now. And it's
like college football saying, oh, hey, well we dodge that

(12:41):
because people are gonna get pissed this year, but hey,
we have the twelve seen playoff next year, so I
have to worry about it. But this is the year.
This is the year we're gonna get that chaos when
there's already a change. It figures our luck in sports.
That's how it's going. We get that. And then also
you have the last vestiges of the Pac twelve. They're
the captains now they have all rights to everything. They
own the conference. Yeah you all left, Yeah we own

(13:02):
all the assets, all the liability and everything else. But
here we go. So it's a big day in college football.

(15:02):
big day in the NFL. We got guys getting fired,
We have players getting cut all because you're coming up
short this past couple of days. Crazy week ten. Well
we know now you pay with your job. And last
night we watched the Bills just absolutely blow it against

(15:25):
the Denver Broncos. I told you as a Bills fan
that loss would eat at me for twenty years. Regular
season losses did different from playoff losses, but because like
that loss against the Chiefs from a couple of years ago.
Oh man, but regular season losses they hit a little
bit different, but still twenty years they'd take me to
get over that loss. They make a big move today
and they fire offensive coordator Ken Dorsey, and I believe

(15:46):
I first saw Tom Brady getting the OC gig. Then
it turned out to be Joe Brady. So they fire
Ken Dorsey. And the first thing I would say is
I wanted to say, is yeah, it makes sense. It
stinks when guys have to pay with their jobs, but
look at what's going on. Josh Allen is not good
and he needs to be fixed. Stefan Diggs is mad

(16:06):
every other week. His brother wants him to get up
out of Buffalo. The offense is not good and the
Bills are five hundred. There's a lot going on right
now and it's out of control, and Sean mcdermot's trying
to keep his job as head coach. So what did
you think was gonna happen? Hey, we fired the offensive
coordinator and now hopefully the Bills get a reset. And
it's something that kind of had to happen, even if

(16:28):
no matter how much Dorsey is responsible. It's easy to
sit back and say, well, Josh Allen was great under
Brian Davile, he was not under Ken Dorsey. So okay,
let's make a move. It's one of those things that
this could be a spark for them. Something had to happen.
You couldn't keep going on with no changes, like the
Jets are bleeping trying to do. You needed something and
this might be it for the Bills. I hate to

(16:50):
see a guy pay with his job, but when it's
a performance league, right, and you got it. If you're
performing awesome, you could be the next great head coach
in the NFL. But when you're not, you're gonna be
the fall guy because head coaches want to keep their
jobs and you're the ones that, hey, you know what,
you're the guys that fall on the sword. So I
get it, and I think this could be a galvanizing

(17:10):
thing for the Bills. And if I'm coming in, if
I'm Joe Brady, what I do is I say, Okay,
here's how I fix the offense. Josh Allen. You're gonna
check down and throw intermediate. Every time you don't and
you throw deep, I'm gonna buzz you, and it's gonna
buzz you. It's gonna hurt me like the jose Al
too Ve buzzer when he knows something's coming, except it's
gonna be worth a lot more. It's gonna shock you
because I don't want you to throw deep, because when

(17:31):
you throw deep, you get in trouble. You're not accurate
throwing deep. We need to keep you shorter. You need
to know the value of a three yard pass. And
we're gonna get you some more design runs and get
you outside the pocket more and get you making plays
with your feet because they've cut back on it big
time in the last year and a half. And this
is what make Josh Allen the great player that he is.
Let him run the ball a little bit more, keep

(17:51):
throwing the ball spread over the field. He's not good deep,
so don't throw deep. Tell he doesn't have the arm,
but just don't throw deep because that's not working. Still
number twelve. In terms of your all important quarterback ratings
and as an offense, the Bills rank eighth in the
National Football League, putting up twenty six point two points

(18:12):
per game. So you get a fall guy. This is
the obfuscate. This is to give them the old razzle
dazzle of Richard Gear in Chicago dancing around in a
sequence suit so you don't see what's happening on the
other side of the ball. Whenever you mentioned that scene,
you always mentioned that Richard Gear is wearing a sequence suit. Yell,
I mean you got to give him the full picture?

(18:34):
Richard Gear? Did you say in a sequence like what?
You always because you got to be the showman, I
that bring all attention back to to the problem, but
you always want to make sure you hit that part
of it. I gotta mention the sequence suit. You can't
just say, give the old razzle dazzle, lady, gentleman a
tap dance that you got. No, I don't have a

(18:55):
and a sequence, but you got sparkling sparkle and bring
the shine to it. Because what you're trying to do
is take all attention for what's happened to your defense. Right,
we talked about it last night as it was happening.
Leslie Fraser is gone, mcdermot's in charge of your defense.
You have a couple of injuries and you've had no solutions. Right.

(19:17):
You called an all out blitz on a play that
ends up netting the Broncos a huge pass interference call
and setting them up for the game winner. All of
that to say, you don't have the personnel, nor have
his calls defensively been up to par as well. Alan

(19:39):
should take a lot of a lot of criticism right again,
and we can go through and parse through each interception
because everybody just goes by totals, right, it's just ah,
this is it. Well, there's a lot of game circumstance whatever,
not every interception is equally. That's when you saw last
night he had some really bad not even well but yesterday, right,
he had bad throws. He missed guys who were wide

(20:00):
open coming across the middle of the field. He had
a bad night. Yeahday night. It's way worse than it is,
which is why Ken Dorsey is no longer your offensive coordinator.
That happened Sunday afternoon at one o'clock. Ken Dorsey probably
still has a joke. Well, he would have been able
to argue, look, we integrated the run properly, and we
we did all these things to try to make the
game easier, more manageable. Now Allen's dealing with the shoulder,

(20:24):
and look, everybody's hurt. That's on a football field in
week eleven, but it certainly has changed how he has
played getting to the edge. And to your point about
design runs, you're not doing it as often because you're
trying to limit the exposure to the hits that that
he's taking. Right, Because we've watched it for years and
we've watched quarterbacks meet a very quick end. Right, they

(20:46):
reached the cliff on their careers pretty fast if they've
been piling up pits, and obviously you're trying to navigate
through that much different squad. You got Stefan Diggs, Kincaid
has come up. He also had a big drop that
would have extended a drive earlier. Right, So you know,
some of it's on Allan, some of it's on his receivers.
One of his interceptions went right through and whistled straight

(21:06):
through Gabe Davis's hands, which would have set up a
first and ten from the twelve yard line. Instead, it's
an interception going the other way. The handoff. I'm never
gonna understand what the hell happened with that and James Cook,
but all of it to say, Ken Dorsey's the guy
that pays. You've had a year plus of all these
reports of maybe some mal contentedness, how much of it is,

(21:32):
you know, Stefan Diggs telling his brother to go at
Josh Allen versus. All right, let's take a look at
what's happened at the coordinator position and what Ken Dorsey
has been able to or not been able to do.
As the quarter you would have thought Gabe Davis would
have taken a big step forward. He's popped up on
the raidar what twice this year with big games? And
then Khalil Shakur who pops on the radar PPR leagues whatever,

(21:57):
everybody's excited. He's a non factor and mister and back
to special teams against a Denver defense that let's give
them some credits. Suddenly they got better in a hurry, right,
A couple of guys got healthy, they got some more
reps together, and looking at game tape, et cetera, they
were able to do some pretty good things. Now that
the Chiefs aren't the offense of the pass. But you

(22:19):
take the Chiefs and Bills and make them average at
best and back to back weeks, that's enough to raise
your eyebrow. But for the Bills, yeah, it's time to
move on because you get a very difficult run to
try to make the playoffs. Otherwise, Sean McDermott knows he's
paying with his job, so you at least have to
shuffle up and deal. Tonight shoe brought to by Progressive Insurance.

(22:39):
Progressive makes bundling easy and affordable. Get a multi policy
discount by combining your motorcycle, RV, boat, ATV and more
all your protection and one plays Bundle and Save at
Progressive dot com. So Ken Dorsey gets fired as Bill's
OC and today someone finally paid for the fact that
the Jets suck. It was just a day ago. What

(23:02):
did Robert Sala say, Hey, your quarterback, your quarterback? No,
Zach is actually playing pretty well. Zack Wilson is playing around.
He doesn't believe that one guy should have to bear
the brunt when a whole team fails. And what does
he do today? He cuts Michael Carter, who is their
third down running back. On the day the Jets had
a big team meeting, Garrett Wilson spoke up. Thank you,
Garrett Wilson. You're the guy, you're the leader, You're the

(23:24):
real guy. I'm glad. What did I say? What did
I say, I think you listened to the show. What
did I say yesterday? I want Garrett Wilson to stand
up and he'll talk about the room and say, this
is what should happen, this is what's going on. I
feel like I'm coaching the Jets. I raised him up
and you carried him over. I'm a better coach than
Robert Sala. But this is when we talked about last
night that Robert Sala the Jets need a new head coach. Like,

(23:45):
how genuine do you think this move looks? Where everybody
knows how bad Zach Wilson. You can see her and
tell me Zach's playing pretty well. Don't give me that crap.
The guy's throwing one touchdown in nine games and the
Jets have eight touchdowns in nine games, and look at all.
It's the worst offense in the league. And you're gonna
sit here and tell me Zach is actually playing pretty well.

(24:06):
Players are gonna tune that out. And then for you
to say, hey, no, I'm not gonna hold one guy
responsible and then cut Michael Carter. I'm like, okay, I
get what you're doing. Because Michael Carter had fallen out
of favor and he had committed a bad penalty against
the Raiders, But to go out of your way and say, hey,
we're going to uh, we're gonna not blame one person,

(24:26):
but I'm cutting Michael Carter. I mean, what does that say?
If you're on the team, you go, wow, he's a
well like player on the team. I mean, what what? What?
What kind of message does that send? I feel like
Robert sala is flailing right now? What do I do
because the job of head coach is too big for him? Well,
because you saw the other move that had to happen today,
and you know his weekly let me tell you what

(24:48):
I think about the world. Aaron Rodgers went on to
defend his guy Hackett at every turn, right, So you've
got that. Robert sala answers, oh, yeah, to the Johnson's
up top, I answered number eight over there, of course.
Of course, what you can't fire Garrett Wilson. No, you
can't fire some of these other guys that are our

(25:08):
major contributors, like you know what you cost us. You're
part of the ring leaders. Here, see you, Michael Carter?
You know the way he goes. I'll be real with
you for a second. Here is that I see this today.
And I told you, Robert Sala, the Jets need a
new head coach. He's not up to it. It's too much.
He's a great defensive coordinator. They amassed a lot of

(25:28):
talent defensively. They got lucky in the draft with Garrett
Wilson and Breesall, which is awesome. But you're still not
winning games, and you're still not able to fix problems.
You're thirtieth in scoring right and just ahead of the
Patriots and the Giants. And to hear him sit here
and say, hey, it's gonna click at some point. Hey,
we're only a game out of the playoffs. I'm gonna
tell you something, man, the season's over. The Jets season

(25:51):
is over. I feel like, uh, like Marvin Berry and
back to the future. Hey man, the dance is over.
Unless well, bad example, because he does do a bud to.
Somebody plays guitar and Marty has the guitar and he
does the whole song. But hey man, this season's over. Okay,
it's a pretty big scene. Chuck, Chuck, this is your cousin, Marvin,
Marvin Barry. You know that new quarterback you're looking far.

(26:14):
I like the analogy until I saw it clicking your brain. Good, well, Landy, no,
it's listen to this well, because he actually does save
the dance. But by hey man, hey man, the season's over.
You are four and five. Okay, you're you're gonna play
the Bills on Sunday at Buffalo. You gonna lose that game,
all right? You be four and six, And then to
sit back and say, well, we're still only one game out.

(26:35):
Everybody's feeling good. You gotta win ten games to get
to the play all this Aaron Rodgers coming back. You
gotta win ten games to be a playoff team, right,
Ten and seven gets you in once in a great while.
Every few years, a nine and eight team gets in,
but generally you're thinking about ten wins. Ten and seven. Now, spout,
ten and seven gets you in. This Jets team is
gonna go six and one. They're gonna go six and
one down the stretch. They're gonna lose to the Bills

(26:56):
on Sunday in Buffalo. And with a new OC and
everything else, and there are more talented team and they
want payback from week one and all these things. And
the Jets are a mess, and their offense can't score
and they're not changing anything. And when you don't change anything,
you know, this is the offense you're gonna get. So,
how are you gonna win a football game? You're gonna
be four and six the season is over. There are
some teams that if they were four and six, I

(27:18):
can look and say, yeah, they can go on a run.
Why generally because you have a great offense. If the
Charges were four and six, I would always say, you
know what, Charges, go win a bunch of games in
a row. You never know, they get hot offensively, and
Herbert has you know, four or five big weeks in
a row. If you have a great offense, you can
get hot. You can win a lot of games. That's
but this Jets team, you're not gonna go on a run.
You have no margin for error in a football game. Zero.

(27:39):
That's not going six and one. Because remember as well
as it looks like, hey, everybody's four and five right now,
everybody's five and five. Yeah, but teams get to ten.
Some teams get to ten. You're not a team that's
built to go six and one. The Jets are a
team that is built to be a five hundreds team
for a while until Aaron Rodgers comes back and then
maybe we win two of our last three and squeak
in or three or our last four and squeak and

(28:01):
when he comes back, maybe comes back on, you know,
for Black Friday. Who knows, but that's that's what you're
hope for. It. But now you're gonna be four and
six and the season's over. And I'm sorry, but it is.
They would the loss of the Raiders. When you're not
beating teams you should beat with a bad offense, how
are you gonna beat better teams? The answer is you're not.
It's not gonna happen. And the Jets are gonna be
four and six and they're gonna go, oh we real

(28:22):
before our season slips away. The season has slipped away.
It has slipped away because you mismanaged the roster all
the way through, because you continually stick with Zach Wilson,
even when you had all kinds of chances to get
to a new quarterback. Well, we got Aaron Rodgers. Do
you want to keep Zack Wilson? No, we got why
we got to keep him. We can fix him. No,
you're already brought in a new guy. You know, Zach
Wilson stinks. Oh okay, okay, but then Aaron Rodgers gets

(28:45):
hur wa we should bring in another guy, we should
bring another gay. No no, no, no no. We don't
need to trade for another guy or doing anything else.
We're just gonna stick with Zack Wilson. He's gonna be fine.
Here we are the deadline. Josh Dobbs is available, other
guys are available. Why no, no, no, no, We're gonna
stick with Zach Wilson. I'm gonna get fired by sticking
with Zach Wilson. I'm happy with that and all of
these chances, and still this is where they are with

(29:06):
Zach Wilson. The season's over. I mean, I appreciate their
loyalty though, I mean they're committing professional I mean, whenever
you want to term it, I mean they're just walking
away here. I mean they want to be loyal as
Zach Wilson because the next place he goes, he's gonna
get them a job. I get it. But Zack Wilson's
not going any place he's gonna get them jobs. It's

(29:28):
not how it works like like us in the real worlds.
It's the hard part right of watching Zach Wilson as
we did the other day, going back and forth, and
there are throws that we're like, where is this, where's
this play calling, where's this freedom? Where's this zip? And
then he turtles in big moments, throws bad passes, or
just takes an unconscionable sack along the way. The offensive

(29:50):
line we've stipulated away as terrible a long time ago.
But yeah, these guys have pretty much decided they're hitching
their wagon. So what the hell are they seeing from
Boyle and Simeon in practice that they won't even entertain
the thought? I like, you're not beholden to this guy anymore.
He's he's at the end of his rookie deal and

(30:11):
he's gonna be sent away, right, I mean, yes, there
are two years remaining, but you've already decided. I think
if you're a reasonable rational person, that you've seen enough
and you're losing the locker room with Garrett Wilson calling
team meetings to talk about where you're at exit, how
about a Fresca exit swollen dome. I'm tired. The season's over.

(30:33):
It's over for the Jets. They still think it's going,
but it's it. You know what it is. It's Vince
Vaughn in season two of True Detective, when he's walking
talking to his wife and he's like, yeah, well I'll
get out of here, and his wife says, oh, baby,
you stop walking all the way back there. And he
looks back and sees that's his body. This is his
soul that's leaving his body. Oh honey, you stop walking
all the way back there. The Jets are walking around
now like Vince Vaughn going yeah, no, and I do

(30:55):
this and I do this. Guys, your season was over
back here. I don't know you still think is happening?
Your season was over all the way back here. Spirits floating.
There's an AI suggestion photo to make for your Jets,
right Heason, two of True Detective n back to the future,
all in a big span. It's crazy. Coming up next,
what was the most shocking story of the day. Something

(31:17):
I never thought would happen to the New York Yankees.
It's next right here, Jason and Mike Fox.

(31:54):
between the Warriors and the Wolves. Let's go multiple ejections,
including draymard On Green and yeah, I mean maybe because boy, Draymond,
I don't know how you're gonna walk away from not
getting a big suspension after that. Oh yeah, we're not
going to see him for a little bit of But
I mean it shows that the players are really taking
the intensity of this in season tournament yea, to a

(32:16):
whole other level. Man, if this was just a regular
season game, you would not see this. Just scratchet it
up so much that stripe in the middle of the
court and they just driving people into madness. Yeah, I
think the Lakers actually had a three hour pregame show
going into Game two of their in season tournament. The
undefeated Lakers, sorry, the undefeated Lakers had a three hour

(32:38):
pregame show. It was It was very well in every
five minutes, there was an update as to whether Lebron
James would play or not. Is he playing, how's he feeling?
Is he playing? Did he stretch his ankle yet? What
about now? Hey, just tell tell Stuart to keep hitting
refreshed on Twitter until we get a decision.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
I'll do.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
But I don't know I've ever seen something like this.
So break happened to the Yankees A couple of days ago.
Yankees GM Brian Cashman, who for some reason keeps his job,
did an interview with the New York Daily News, and
he told the New York Daily News that gian Carlo Stanton,
who's been hurt a lot throughout his career, is quote

(33:17):
gonna wind up getting hurt again more likely than not,
because it seems to be part of his game, does
an interview and tells the New York Daily News. Now,
after the Daily News publishes this, Jian Carlostan's agent collaps
back at the Yankees by saying, quote, it's a good
reminder for all free agents considering signing in New York,
both for an and domestic. Both for that not just

(33:41):
some guys coming from the United States. But if you
don't know the Yankees coming from outside the States. It's
a good reminder for all free agents have to play
for that team. You gotta be made of teflon, both
mentally and physically, because you can never let your guard down,
even in the off season. I never thought I would
see someone take a shot like this at the Yankees. This,
and I never thought I would see a general manager

(34:05):
say this about a player to a newspaper. I saw
when this story broke today, I said, how does Brian
Cashman still have a job. I don't understand how. I mean, look,
obviously he's got hal Steinbrenner wrapped around his finger, thinking, yes,
you need to keep me Aaron Boone the same we
need to keep Aaron Boone. He promised all big changes
in the offseason. What changes have we gotten. We're gonna

(34:26):
bunt a little bit more. Oh, that's gonna be and
we're gonna get rid of it. We're gonna butun more. Yeah.
I don't know how Brian Cashman has his job, specifically
after this, because we talk about Bill Belichick losing his fastball.
He doesn't have that fastball anymore. Brian Cashman doesn't have
his fastball anymore. He was a great GM for a
long time, and somewhere in the last five or six years,
he stopped getting aggressive. He stopped being okay with trading

(34:47):
away prospects, and he stopped spending money on big players
even though they had the green light to and he's
driven to the middle. Remember his money was made by
the fact that every one of those guys hit right,
all the homegrown guys. It's like the Cubs in twenty sixteen.
You had that year in all of the annals of

(35:08):
time where everything came together and all those prospects and
coalesced with a couple of sprinklers a couple of years
where the right where they all hit. Yeah, they got
their one World Series. That's great with the Yankees. I mean,
these guys are all legends of the team, and he
could say those are my guys, right, But then but
then you have the guys that he brought up that

(35:30):
you thought all Miguel Anduar. I can't trade Miguel Anduhar
for Jacob de Gram. I remember that I got to
walk around. I can't and trade Miguel and hor and
Gary Sanchez for Jacob de Gram. I gotta walk around
in the city right back when it was the Mets
were unsure if they could sign Jacob de Gram, but
Gary was scary for a while. He drove to the
middle and he stopped being effective. He's no longer an
effective GM. He has not brought in players that have

(35:51):
made the Yankees better. And he goes on this big
tiret a week agoy, And I'm bleeping proud of this team.
I'm proud of were accomplishing. Dude, you nearly finished in
last place, whereas you know, once every few years, heems
finished in the last place. Not to the Yankees. The
Yankees have lost the standard that they had played to
for so long and it's not there anymore. And the

(36:11):
fact that Brian Cashman keeps his job, I'm like wow.
And the fact that he does an interview with the
Daily News and he rips one of the players that's
still on his team. That a I'm sure he's trying
to trade. That's not going to help anything. How do
you do that? It's funny, how do you do that?
Because because you pause and you go, it's not lying.
He's not lying. But but I love the fact dude

(36:36):
comes back and says, hey, foreign end domestices for a
domestic because Stanton, by my math, still has four years
before the club option on his deal. He's going to
make another man, and I mean a lot of money.
But how mental Mallley teams are saying, Well, if their
GM doesn't think he's going to be healthy, we're not

(36:57):
going to take a hill. Let's pay for most of
the salary. That's the only way you're bringing on Stanton anyway,
How do you do that? How do you sit there
and rip one of your players to a newspaper and
know that it's gonna be printed, and like, look, what
else could be said about Brian Cashman. I mean that
the fish wraps and local sports talk radio and the

(37:19):
message boards because you gotta read the message boards. I
mean and Twitter and US here nationally. We've ripped everything.
You can't say anything new. So at this point you
just said, ah, the hell with it, Like, my fate
is tied to a contract I signed with this guy
and I'm tied to him for another four plus years
before we can finally do the option and say no,

(37:40):
we decline. I don't know how he keeps it, especially
after this. I said, you gotta be kidding, as I
told you how Man cash was keeping his guys lost
his fastball. He needs to be replaced to uh. Coming
up next, we get into the absolute madness that's going
on in the NBA between the Warriors and the Wolves.
Keep it right here. This is Fox Sports Radio.
