Yes, Uh, the Blackhawks and the Kings go to overtime
and off the opening face off, the Kings take the
puck into the zone. Can't be shoots any scores? Is
that the fastest goal in overtime history?

Speaker 3 (01:16):
It ties the record six seconds.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Six seconds, six seconds was the record.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Unless they redo the clock, it's listed as time of
the goals.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Six seconds of ote. That's how badly they want Edmond
tim That's.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
How it smoke.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
That's how bad The Blackhawks just said we were done,

Looked up. We got excited.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
We were getting some bonus hockey and there was no
bonus hockey.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Yeah, Matt Sundean did it. David Legwand did it. Alex
Ovechkin did it, six crazy seconds. It took the Kings
to win it. Jalen Brunson. I believe Brunson did it.
I can do anything right. He did it without skates.
That's how fast Simpsons did it. The Knicks have been
skating for a while. Actually yeah so now, uh now,

(02:09):
who do you get Frostburgy at Edmonton? Congratulations? Oh really,
just by sending it overtime? Congratulations and great Rick Flair.
If you want to beat the man, you gotta beat
the man who.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
LA lost to Edmonton first round last year six soon
lost to Edmonton the year before in seven.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
Connor mcdammon only had one hundred and thirty two points.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
I think they've lost BLI playoffs in each of the
last seventeen seasons.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Steve, you go back to two cents oft sky maybe, Yeah,
I think that's what it is. Yeah, good good luck.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
I mean, look, Edmonton was awful and I think they
started out like two to ten or something like that.
And I think they've lost since. Like I mean they've
been they've been that good. Well, they're gonna lose now season, Well,
good luck.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
You wanted it. You wanted the Edmonton slay. Yeah, you're
gonna go Dallas.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
And then I looked at the standing in Dallas is
the best team in the league.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
You're gonna get the Oilers.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
You're getting McDavid smoke now, man, we're on going to
get it.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
You're getting it. You're gonna wear these l's. Oh man.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
I do a hitt in Edmonton once a month. I
know they're gonna call me next week. Man, then they
call me for tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
You're on in Edmonton. We're Onshington's great Edminton.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
I do hits in Edmonton, uh with Jason Gregor, Like
once a month, I go on and we talk.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
And it's cool. How come you have mentioned this? We
are an international sensation. It was no, it was I was.
It was great.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
I would The last time I went on was a
month ago and I was coming on and then Mike
Commodore was coming on after, and I said, oh, you
tell Tommy thanks.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
For the two thousand and six season with the Hurricanes.
Oh my god, he goes wow.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
I said, I just hope I can live up to
Mike Commodore here because in my commado he's great player with.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
The with the Hurricane.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
One of the Commodore's many hits from the seventies.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Yeah, easy, lack sun and morning. No, No, he sang
on night shift. He was.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
He was a guy that sang on nights. Okaya easy
was that one? Then he's sang a night Oh good.
Asked that question, like people live in Edmonton.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
No, I've been Edmonton. Edmonton.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
I'm not lying to you. Edmonton is the coldest place
in the world I've ever been.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
It was so cool.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
It was so cold that when we were flying to Edmonton,
I actually said to the flight attendant, planes can fly
when it's this cold, right.

Speaker 6 (04:13):
We have to worry about like we're good?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Yeah, yeah, there's no propellerancies.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
I went to Edmonton, and then here's that. I went
to Calgary after Edward Calgary's it was zero in Calgary.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
It felt like I was at the beach like compared
to Edmonton.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
What about all those years before Winnipeg got a team
back where the NHL purposely used to have a club
when they visited Winnipeg. Just play two games there the
same weekend and not have to come back a second.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Just stay and hang out and go to lunch and
just be done with this.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Staying hello to that massive, big painting of Queen Elizabeth
they had on the side of the arena.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Inside it was like the Lakers.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
I had to go to New Orleans play a game.
We're staying in New Orleans playing another game. We went again.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
We're done.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
We don't have to go back anymore. Don't have to
go back to New Orleans. They're good. The Lakers are good.
Thank you, Steve.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
We got Jay Glazer coming up in about fifteen minutes.
All the big news, all the big rumors getting ahead
of the NFL Draft, But it's clear that Dion Sanders
needs our help.

Speaker 6 (05:10):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
The Colorado Buffaloes lost twelve players to the portal in
the last twenty four hours, a lot of guys to lose.
Dion has been someone who has taken over the program
and taking it to heights immediately that we didn't think
were possible. But he's also had some missteps along the way,
and after what he said today dealing with the fallout

(05:32):
from the portal, he clearly needs our advice here. He
was miss press conference today asked about, Hey, you just
lost twelve guys of the portal. And this is when
when Shador and Shiloh are on Twitter going hey, if
you want to hit the portal and you're on defense,
call me a DM me and if you want to
on offense and hit the portal, DM my brother. By
the way, where's the video Like they're a law office

(05:54):
of Sanderson saying are you tired of the coach that
you've been working under. Now's the time to come and
restart your life. If you're on defense, DM me, offense,
DM my brother. We're open twenty four to seven. But
here's Dion, who was not happy to be getting these
portal questions from pesky reporters.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Are you losing some guys to the portal?

Speaker 6 (06:15):
What are you looking forward to re establish what position
groups are you hunting.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
I wish you guys do a little more homework when
you start talking about the portal and understand what we losing.

Speaker 6 (06:28):
What are we losing?

Speaker 2 (06:30):
I got time today.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Back, but are we losing.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Potential starters and potential where tight end running back?

Speaker 4 (06:47):
Yeahn't been watching break zo, Amen, I.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Like I got time for this today. We can we
can mess around, We can go round around on this.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Can I ask some good question though?

Speaker 1 (06:58):
First thing I want to say, pay more attention to
transfer portal. I think they would know more about who
they're losing if they were allowed to be a practice.
But they're not allowed to be a practice, so they
have to kind of ask the question.

Speaker 5 (07:07):
That's a question, that's question I have is like what
he says, Amen, like you shut us out. We're trying
to have a little bit of transparency, you know, so
we can tell people who want.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
To follow your Blapan Dame, what what the hell's going on?

Speaker 1 (07:21):
There's two big things to say and two big pieces
of advice that Deon Sanders needs, clearly from someone outside
the program.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Right here, you're not inside.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
You're not inside, okay, but I'll tell you about about
something that you really need to fix from outside the program.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
You've just said that you're losing backups. You don't care.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
If if I'm a player, if I'm a high school coach,
if I'm a parent, dude, why would I send my
kid to come play for you? If it doesn't work out,
he's gonna have to hit the portal because clearly you
have no patience or don't care about backups. Or if
my kid is a backup on the team, you don't
care about him because he's a backup. You made it
very clear backups, I don't need him.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
What do we lose them? We're losing backups. I don't
care what.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
How do you think that's gonna play? Okay, I get
the ear Hey, my way or the highway. Look at
what I'm doing and I'm redoing college football all at once. Yeah,
I get that. And yes he's very charismatic. People want
to come play with him, but he has said, hey,
backups don't matter.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
Wow. I mean, I don't know, man, but I know
if I'm.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
A player, if I'm a parent, I can't stand that
in him just saying I think, do I really want
to go play for that guy? Because let's just say it.
Like I said, let's say it doesn't work out for me.
I know, A have to hit the portal, okay or B.
I'm not gonna play. He doesn't care about me. And yes,
do coaches care more about the starters, the stars, the
ones that make them look good?

Speaker 4 (08:41):
Of course they do.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
But you don't go out in public and say I
don't care about the backups.

Speaker 4 (08:45):
What kind of optic is that? What are you telling me?

Speaker 1 (08:47):
You're a coach, you should care about all your player
you're recruited, and you should care about all of them.
And yes, I get that it happens that the starters
are a little bit more important. But when it comes
down to it, don't you want people to think you
care about the players. I look at him, and I
so he doesn't care about anybody unless they're good and
they're making him look good. He doesn't care about anybody else.
And that's not how you're a successful college football coach.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
Fantastic resume. Certainly, we got excited about September last year,
but what felled them the lack of depth? Well the
month of October. Wow, No, as soon as the calendar flipped.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
On October November screwed them.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
In a but they had no depth and they had
no beef on either side. Right, so your offensive line
got destroyed. And you watched Sder trying to throw while
falling to the ground with some regularity. Great talent he
both his sons and obviously Travis Hunter you got that going.
But to your point, it's about the optics. It's about

(09:45):
you know, you're selling the program. What you're selling me
here is it's all right if you're inside, if you're
one of us, one of our guys. Well, how do
I get to be one of those guys? And what
do I gotta do to stay on that island?

Speaker 4 (09:59):
Yeah, because look.

Speaker 5 (10:00):
For a lot of guys that are tweeters and say
they get offers from Colorado and other schools. You're losing
the tie breaker, because the potential for this to become
a tremendous pain in my ass is huge. E. I
have to go to the portal because I've fallen out
of favor or I'm not getting whatever the attention I
need to help make the collegiate experience successful one and

(10:23):
I don't know where they're at in terms of you know,
how they deploy all the administrative part of things. But
I gotta imagine the backups are getting this short shrift
a little bit there too.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
You know, And that plays into the other part. The
other bit of advice that Deon Sanders needs is that
you can be too much style. There's such a thing
as too much time. This is not style over substance.
This is you can have too much style. But eventually
you need to be able to show stability. And if
you look at the.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
Colorado football program, if I said stability, you'd laugh at me.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Really, everything changes every five seconds with Colorado. Dion's happy,
he's upset. He's happy, he's upset. We've got players coming
in that he loves. He's pushing players out. He's got
players that are coming in. He doesn't care about. You
need a little bit of stability where if I'm a player,
I want to go play for you sound great, but yes,
I want my nil money, but I want to be

(11:15):
able to play. I want to be able to go
someplace where every day is some sort of routine, some
sort of stable environment, because I can go play in
a lot of plays, not just you, man, I can
go play in a lot of places. And if you're
showing me that stuff, can change every five minutes. Why
would I go play there? I mean, I think Colorado
players must go to practice every day and go I

(11:36):
don't know what's gonna happen today, but who knows.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
It's not boring.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
Yeah, but you're looking at your future of you're either
in college because you want to play football, you want
to go to the NFL, you want to end your
career as an athlete the right way, and you go
to Colorado and I don't see any stability. I see
a program that was put out there that had an
unbelievable start, but now that needs to be a little
bit more stability on it. And instead Dion still all

(12:00):
about flash and what's going on and stars and and
getting soundbites and being stand offfish with the media. Like
that's what I seen about. I don't see the stability. Now,
maybe he's got it, but like I said, from the outside,
I'm telling you, this is the outside view of your program.
You don't care about all your players and you do
not use stability, and that's something that that recruiters are

(12:21):
gonna put against you. Go, do you want to go
play for there? This coach we're gonna be he's gonna
be here the next for you. We got a big contract.
He's gonna be here. Do you want to go play there?
If things you fall out of favor, who knows what's
gonna happen, You're gonna he may put you in the
portal himself.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
He may just grab you and throw He may call
in Wong from.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
The Avengers, who's gonna open that portal, and he will
grab you wearing his sunglasses and throw you right through
that portal.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
I like that.

Speaker 5 (12:44):
Talking about stability, Remember Sean Lewis was a big deal
and we trumpeted on the show because the offense was clicking.
He got demoted and eventually he's now the head coach
of San Diego State.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Talk about stability.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
What's this program look like when the Sanders are gone
and Travis Hunter's not there?

Speaker 4 (13:03):
Yeah? Does he care anymore? Is he still there? Does
he want to be the Colorado guy? Long term? Is
that question is not done? I'm like a youth coach.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
I've become in I'm coaching my kids, and then when
I'm done, I'm gonna return.

Speaker 5 (13:14):
Legitimately, that question remains, especially the way he's treating the
rest of the roster. It's not the Hey, we're building
something full and if if there is behind the scenes, great,
But you don't get any benefits of the doubt when
you treat the local reporters like ass when they ask
you a basic question about the just She couldn't have

(13:35):
lobbed that up. And he Hey, which which position group
you know really is the most in need of some work.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
But he saw the practice, but he's embarrassed by the
fact that all these people are hitting the portal going
away from him. So I'm gonna turn it into something
where I'm gonna get mad at. You do not need
to be adversarial, that's the thing. But he sees it
as this is this is a bad look for me.
Players players don't leave me, players come to me. Well,
this is college football, man, it happens. Players leave everybody.
Players leave Nick Sabe, they left Nick Saban, players leave

(14:03):
Jim Arbaugh, they leave everybody. And this is a bad look.
So now I'm gonna get mad at the media. That's
Dean Sanders And I immediately start thinking, was that James Ingram.
Might he come to me?

Speaker 4 (14:12):
Yeah? Yeah, I was, Uh, that's why he needs our advice.
Coming up next.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Speaking of advice, Jay Glaser has the latest. Is all
the quarterback love we're hearing about the top of the
NFL Draft for real? Is Bill Belichick gonna coach next year?

(16:00):

who has been prepping for the Draft and preparing for
his wedding coming up in a couple of weeks. Jay,
I'm an ordained minister. I could have performed your ceremony if.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
You wanted me to.

Speaker 6 (16:16):
You could have if you were invited.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
That's true too, Wow, But I mean I just be
the official.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
I can come and do it.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
And then here's the thing.

Speaker 6 (16:24):
Here's the thing. Okay, we have a guest list of zero.
You think I want to invite him? My knucklehead trains
absolutely nothing, no good point. I was like, what do
you put it? Off. So this is like Rosie and
I listen Rosie and the identical twins. Her sister's not
even coming. And even my mom was like, well, I'm
sure her sister and Strayan are coming, Like my mother

(16:46):
literally said that to me. Wow, but no, fan's not
going over you and her sister. Like, but that's the
thing about a wedding except about you know you, It's
about everybody else, But we want to make about us.
And we told everybody, hey, we're eloping, and then I
was supposed to be a surprise, but we're we We

(17:07):
took away the surprise day. We're eloping, just us, nobody else.
And I can't tell you how many people like giving
me some grief of Hey, you know so we didn't
make the guests with the Maurism guest guest list, there's
nothing that's it. Let me my life is a guest list.
I'm done. We're done.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
Let me ask you the biggest question I wanted to
ask you. You're ready. The biggest question? Is your phone
off during the ceremony?

Speaker 6 (17:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (17:37):
Is it off all day? What time does it go off?

Speaker 6 (17:39):
The time I'll be face timing some some some cats.
I'll be face timing them a couple because I got
to see my nerves down. I can't I can't isolate.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
On that day.

Speaker 6 (17:52):
I definitely need to reach out to teammates that day.
But you know what's really cool, I will say this,
it is you know again, I'm fit before Rosie's fifty five.
She's never been married because she's taking care of everybody
else in the world but herself. I've really never had
a relationship which I didn't try and sabotage, and I
even tried with this somewhat. We did so much work

(18:15):
and it's the first time I feel like, man, I
really feel worthy of this, and I shouldn't. I shouldn't
destroy it going in, which is what I normally do,
because when you feel unworthy of being loved and these
great things happening, you end up sabotaging them. And we've
done so much work. But I gotta tell you, guys,
the story you're gonna love. So Rosie and Iron pre

(18:37):
marital therapy. We just thought we're going to do this
pre marital therapy session, but it's six weeks of it
because we want to get our communication better and we
don't want to just go to therapists and marriage counsel.
When the sky home, we kind of want to do it.
Going in, I want to get coaching. I look at
therapists like coaches, so how are they gonna help us

(18:58):
out right? So we do this six week program and
like week two, Mike Tomlin starts following me, and I
texted him. I said, hey, I can't talk. I'm on
a premare at old zoom, a pre madol, a couple
therapy zoom with Rosie. I can talk to you after.
And all of a sudden, my phone starts blowing and
we're on a zoom with a therapist. My phone starts

(19:20):
blowing up. My phone starts blowing up my phone, and
Mike starts calling and face on it it's calling, and
face on probably said, hey doc, I'm real sorry. I said,
I got a friend of mine who he knows what
I'm doing. And he he keeps calling and faith on me.
It must be an emergency. So I got to answer
this so I don't step away. So she's the doctor.
Here is the whole thing. And I say, hey man,
you okay. He goes, hey man, don't do it. Nothing

(19:43):
is wrong with you. And Rosie, don't do it. You're
just gonna tell you two got problems. You gotta got
no problems. Don't do it every day. I'm like, oh
my god, Oh my god, there the whole thing.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Oh that's the doctor might have said, hang up on
that guy.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
Hang up on him right now, just hang up on him.

Speaker 6 (20:07):
Oh, it was unreal.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
What was it?

Speaker 6 (20:10):
Like?

Speaker 1 (20:11):
What I want to tell you, Jay is okay. So
the draft is a pretty big deal. So you're prepping
for a wedding at the NFL Draft at the same time, I.

Speaker 6 (20:20):
Can't he comes back. Yeah, but it is like, yeah,
like today and I'm a little behind and thinks road
you had to go get her written. And at the
same time, I'm doing draft calls. So we're doing that
and we're in fact, I'm here at the house, I'm
doing draft stuff and we're doing this and I'm bouncing

(20:42):
back and forth. Yeah, it's a little surreal. I'm not
gonna lie to you.

Speaker 5 (20:45):
So this draft a bit different than than many others.
All the skilled position, quarterback position, Jay, and a lot
of intrigue and trailers.

Speaker 6 (20:54):
I say it, we're different, not just the quarterbacks, but
like man to have no defensive players that you're talking about,
like usually as the quarterback of this edge rusher, there's
running back of this or not running back for it's
edge rusher, this offensive linement. It's just it's just it's
so it's such a deep offensive draft that you're not
talking about, and there's a lot of dynamic defensive players

(21:17):
or they're not talking about them in the top five
or even ten like you normally would where you know,
i mean, look a couple of years ago too, right,
Jacksonville took to Georgia, and defensive ends just aren't kind
of like buy skill and where he could project to.
And you have guys who are I'm not saying quite
like that, but you don't because it's it's so loaded

(21:39):
with offense. They're not even looking at guys going, oh man, yeah,
these these guys have great give speed. We're gonna push
them up there. It's almost like it's it's like a
before we aren't conclusion that, hey, it's just going to
be offense for the first you know, eight ten picks.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
Jay, I know this is the big misinformation time getting
a week out, but let me just ask you, this
is the upper level first round interest in all these quarterbacks.
Real like the four or five guys, is all of
that reel.

Speaker 6 (22:08):
It is, well, look, I think everybody realized, now, okay,
we're not gonna make a move on Caleb. And by
the way, Caleb, I do love Caleb. I think not
a lot comes out. He doesn't have an anglands. Not
a lot comes out. But look, I live in l
a and we do kind of run in similar circles.
He is sitting with the right people go hey, what

(22:30):
did this person do to be great? What did that
person do to be great? What did this like? I
do like, I do like qualities. I'm here and I
really do I think the bearer to get a such
in Caleb Williams, I really do.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
Let me back it out to the go ahead. Yeah, sorry,
what I really do.

Speaker 6 (22:45):
It's like, you know, a lot of times it's like
paralysis by over analysis to some of these cats. And
you know, the one thing about Caleb is he has
so much confidence in his arm they can get himself
in trouble. But that's the you know, pro coach is
going to change things, right, So I just I do
think he's gonna turn things around there in Chicago. But

(23:06):
I liked about him too, Like even when he was
a UFC like and I held stuff. He's trying to
get him off at the line page, So I like that.
And then you know, look, everybody assumed it was Drake
May second, but it's really not. I think jayde Daniel
is gonna be the guy who there too in Washington,
and he's a guy that continues to grow and grow
and grow and grow, and he's so incredibly dynamic and

(23:28):
what he could do. But I think the draft starts
after Washington. That's where it really starts because I think, oh,
I know New England's certainly listening to offers and then
you go, oh, but Dade a quarterback. But if you're
not in love with anybody after those two dis you know,
what do you do there? So if somebody else is
in love, let him come up.

Speaker 5 (23:49):
Yeah, especially with that roster you've got right now assembled
there in New England.

Speaker 4 (23:53):
Let me back it out on a larger.

Speaker 5 (23:55):
Picture for you, Jay, you're you're the master of information.
You've got all the phone calls and contact. What's your
favorite part of the process?

Speaker 6 (24:06):
Know all this so here? Okay, So for everybody out there,
I think you've you've heard me for all these years,
Like I don't do the mock draft, and I don't
do a mock draft because of the trust that I have.
Guess and somebody says to me, Glaze, here's who we're taking,
but you can't tell anyone. I'm not going to lie
to fans. So it's great to have this information that

(24:28):
I have. It's being more of this information broker, if
you will, and then I can use it on the
first round of Fox Sports Radio. And because of that,
because people know I'm not going to tip their picks,
and with everybody else, I'm not doing a mock draft.
People tell me more information than they told others. It's
it's really that's the thing I get. The two years
ago I did a mock draft. Somebody who does my

(24:50):
social media so I don't look at my dams and
all that crazy stuff was just smart of me for
mental health reasons. And he said, hey, I want you
to give me the first round of the and timestamp
it send it to me. So it's like three o'clock
in the afternoon, and I had end of ten, but
I had two guys. The Giants had two picks that draft,

(25:12):
the DM the offense tackle and I switched there for this.
But I had ten to ten because it's this trust
that I build up. So I think if you're asking
me the best like for me, it's just this trust,
this trust that people have where and I try and
make sure I can give the fans more insight than
anybody else because I have this, they have this trust
for me, and at the same time making sure that

(25:34):
teams know where they can go if they love somebody
or don't love somebody. And you know, even like I've
been involved in the past in UH and helping somebody
find a trade partner, and there was one year from
me trade all way up to three with me as
the middle man, and it felt pretty damn good. But
I was able to get the fans a little heads
up beforehand.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
I think they were all doing that, Jay, just so
they could get invited to your wedding.

Speaker 6 (25:59):
I want that.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
Ain't happy me one hell of an afterparty though.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Hey, let's get away from the draft for a second.
The last twenty four hours has been big with the
future of Bill Belichick and the big expose by ESPN. Hey,
he was never really in the Falcons top three? Is
this really it for Belichick? Is he coached next year?
We know he's gonna do TV, What do you see
happening here?

Speaker 5 (26:21):
Here?

Speaker 6 (26:22):
What I did? I see Bill? Bill Belichick, He's gonna
do who he signed with. He's signed with Peyton right
with Omar Buss inside. So I see him being really
likable on that. Okay, So if he's when you meet
with Bill and you hang with Bill, he's actually a
cool hang. So if you're hang with Bill and all
of a sudden, the rest of the world gets to
see that some of those things that you're nervous about

(26:44):
with him will come down. Listen TV. As a it's great.
It's a great promoter for guys getting a head coaching jobs,
great promoter for guy getting head coaching job because you
see the human side of somebody that you normally wouldn't
have seem So I think if the smartest thing Bill
could have done is something like that, You'll see him laugh,

(27:06):
you see him joke, You'll see a different side of Bill,
and I think it's the best thing he could do. Now,
you know, I think the reason Building get the job
this year is because, Yeah, that kind of that Patriots
Way stuff is like people are kind of over it
and it's just a different landscape nowadays. You kind of
can't rule with an iron fist anymore if you will,

(27:30):
and you can't rule with with paranoia. It's doesn't like
players just aren't like that anymore. Like you can't you know,
threaten guys with you know, if information gets out or
it's just it just doesn't work like that anymore. And
and also it's like it's so tight, guys aren't like
they used to be. You got to kind of build
guys up from the inside out these days, and that's

(27:51):
certainly not the Patriot way. So you gotta you know,
in the fast you can beat guys down, and they'll
pop up because you're beating them down, and they'll you know,
they're respond even more. That's the old that's the old
school way. So I think it's just more of a
changing in the guard the old school way into what
it is now and how you're gonna kind of coach guys.
But I think, look, Bill's the greatest coach in a

(28:13):
sport of all time. He'll adapt, they'll figure it out,
they'll know it. And I don't see Bill just teams
like Bill take this year to sit there and go, Okay,
what I gonna do now and figure it out? And
I said so'll they'll figure it out. Just like he's
the guy, he's the best he's ever lived. This isn't
just a guy who won a couple of you know,

(28:34):
a couple of AFC championship kids. The best he's ever done.
They'll figure it out.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
He's preparing for a wedding, preparing for the draft.

Speaker 1 (28:40):
And also the latest Unbreakable Mental Wealth podcast, you had
Ot Genesis on with a phenomenal story about Beyonce, so.

Speaker 6 (28:51):
No, here's the better story. And then we talked about
Ot looks like a safety. You know, Ot is a
big rapper, Ferry famous rapper, I'm in Love with the
Go and he used Fiata used one of his songs
at Coachella which is this week, and people had no
idea this past week and he had no idea that
she was using that. It's life changed. But he's done.

(29:11):
He did a deal with Fitty said he's like, he's incredible,
but he's also my main training partner and unbreakable. So
when players come in the train, right, we have two
guys who are always there training their asses off with belief,
you know, with everybody's seen the beat and they're always
shocked by him. But Ot looks like like he looks

(29:32):
like Terrence Newman. He looks like he's a safety. He
actually looks like Terren's and and I said, because I'm
friends with Terrence, and when I was Seve fer Kim
and I was like, you know, what are you doing here?
Oh it's not he knew and he's shacked and he
looks like this NFL safety. So I actually have him
train in MMA all our football players. I have him

(29:54):
get after him. But it's also this community of like, hey,
you got a football player with the rapper where the reporters.
It's kind of crazy deal. So that dude could go,
he can fight. I'm proud of it. And uh and
I love when the football players beat up on him
because it means they're not beating up on me.

Speaker 1 (30:12):

Next week Draft night, Fox Sports Radio First Round. That
Mike Tomlin story was outstanding.

Speaker 4 (30:29):
Don't pay. She's just gonna say you have problems.

Speaker 6 (30:31):
She's good.

Speaker 4 (30:32):
You're gonna pay her money. You guys are fine, but
we like you're you're a sports fan.

Speaker 5 (30:39):
You you're listening wherever you are across the globe, you've
seen Mike. An animated Mike Tomlin. Can you imagine that
call leaning forward into the phone.

Speaker 4 (30:49):
Don't do it?

Speaker 1 (30:51):
Just like that exit out about a Fresca exit swollen
down the Jason Smith Show with Mike Carmon lot from
the tireg dot com Studios.

Speaker 4 (30:58):
Just an unbelievab story about Mike Tomlin.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
Now to a guy who I had to call him
and say, don't do it, don't do it.

Speaker 4 (31:05):
But he led with the Mets anyway, it's need to saying,
you know.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
Essentially, Mike Tomlin therefore was kind of like standing on
the field during a punt return all over again, interrupting,
obstructing Jake Laser and his attempt for the And by
the way, we wish him well. I'm glad you got
into details on that. We wish Jay well and we'll
hear the crew next Thursdays. The first round coverage will
be live on Fox Sports Radio. The NHL approved the

(31:35):

day games. Cleveland a five to four winner at Boston
Red Sox. Third baseman Rafael Devers was out he had
an MRI on his sore knee it's a bone bruise.
And outfielder Tyler O'Neill is on the concussion. I l

(33:43):
Tampa Bay with two runs in the first inning, wound
up winning two to one over the Angels. The loss
to Griffin Canning, who's zero and three but brought his
era down to eight.

Speaker 4 (33:52):
Randy A.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
Rose Araina of Tampa Bay did not start today. He's
in a slump of seven for fifty six at the plate,
and Texas was tied at Troy's seven to seven after
four innings, nine to seven Rangers. The final Texas pitcher
Jack Lighter, had started in his major league debut against
Kent and Mada, wound up high scoring.

Speaker 4 (34:09):
Back to you.

Speaker 1 (34:10):
Yeah, he struck out the first battle on three pitches
and then gave up seven runs in three hos all
down hill after that, Hey, I got this MLB thing licked.

Speaker 4 (34:17):
Oh no, maybe I don't. Thank you, Steve.

We're live from Thetirack dot Com Studios where the last

Speaker 4 (35:36):
Hope you enjoyed the night off.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
Tomorrow we have the playing games, the last two playoff
spots in the NBA will be decided.

Speaker 5 (35:46):
Well, I mean I had a mixed bag of nights
on this quote night off from the playoff world, right
because White Sox didn't play, so I didn't lose there.
But then I got to watch the Blackhawks end their
season in the most spectacular fashion ever.

Speaker 1 (35:59):
Feel they decided, Oh, we're playing overtime, let's just let
him score in the first shot.

Speaker 5 (36:03):
We have, we have twenty three wins. The season's done.
We got this proof of concept with regard. We're Finney,
we're finished, we're done.

Speaker 4 (36:12):
Just let him score. I don't want anybody get hurt.
Just let him score. We're done.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
But two games tomorrow, two teams playing without their superstars
who are walking away with the eight seed. Let's start
in the West where I'd love to be able to
pick the Pelicans, but they're not gonna win, so I can't.
Uh No, Zion Williamson, and this was a team that
was dead from the neck up against the Lakers, and
Zion drag them as close as he could to the

(36:37):
finish line and then got hurt without him. They are
a shell of who they normally are. And the Kings
are not. All records are equal. The Kings are a
good team. Ten games over five hundred, they're peaking, they're
playing well, they have better players. Yes, I know what
you're talking about. Going on the road trying to win.
But give me the Kings tomorrow night. They're the better

(36:59):
to they win this game. They probably I wouldn't be
surprised if the Kings got up big early and the
Pelicans just packed it in and said, you know, we're done,
We're going home. We're it's not working for us zions.
Let's just go home, because that's kind of what the
Pelicans are gonna do.

Speaker 5 (37:13):
Kings are a narrow one point favorite on the road
two ten and a half. You're over under. We watched
Ingram and McCollum and they were terrible, to the point
where Ingram, in his return basically from missing twelve games
knee injury, didn't look right, didn't get into the offense,
played pretty poorly, and then sat nearly the final eight

(37:35):
minutes of the game, and McCollum couldn't hit the broadside
of a barn. They're done. Unless some Herb Jones goes
nuts for twenty five or something off the bench, you're
not beating this team. The back court of the Kings
will be enough to get them. Throw the Kings play
on Monday, you dummies.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
You've good luck against Edmonton, good luck now the Eastern Conference.
You have the Bulls and the Heat, and the Heat
of course, will be without Jimmy Butler with an MC
injury reports today he could be out weeks, So depending
on what happens with the Heat, they're likely done with
Jimmy Butler. You go first, Buddy, because I know this

(38:11):
is this is your team. You're never going to get
the chance to pick the Bulls again for anything, So
go ahead.

Speaker 5 (38:16):
Wow plus two to a five and a half the
total in this one.

Speaker 4 (38:21):
As the Bulls.

Speaker 5 (38:22):
Travel to Miami like Kobe White Damar DeRozan, and it
looks like Crusoe avoided any significant injury, should be available
for tomorrow's game. I think is defensive battle here, but
with no Jimmy Butler and the rest of those rotational
players missing, it's the.

Speaker 4 (38:43):
Kevin Love game, Mike. That's the thing. That's the thing.
I fear Ken Love a sensational move. He's got forty five.

Speaker 5 (38:51):
Suddenly he's got a double double and Tyler Hero has
the exact opposite of the other night and suddenly he's
automatic right what nine of twenty seven? But I'll take
the Bulls to win this game on the road off
the strength of what Kobe White's become.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
I would take the bulls except for one thing. What's
that The bulls stink? Whoa, that's that's that's the thing.
Other than that, I like the bulls.

Speaker 4 (39:12):
To give me a dramatic pause, like.

Speaker 2 (39:16):
For me to lean in with anticip.

Speaker 4 (39:18):
Patient let's do it again.

Speaker 5 (39:20):
I'd take the bulls except for one thing, Jason, what's
that one thing?

Speaker 4 (39:26):
The bulls really stink? Wow, you added the really something new.
I couldn't do the same thing over again.

Speaker 5 (39:33):
I really thought you were going to go to the
dictionary or thesaurus and give me another word.

Speaker 4 (39:37):
The Heat.

Speaker 1 (39:39):
Yes, missing Jimmy Butler, but they've played okay without him
this year. They're thirteen and nine and again they're playing
a team that stinks. Yes, they're missing a couple of
guys and Duncan Robinson was healthy. Didn't play on Wednesday night,
which is a little weird, but yeah, he was healthy.
But for one night at Hull. For one night at Hull, yes,

(40:01):
I will. I will give the Heat the nod over
the Bulls. So mainly because I can see I can
see Ben out of Bio getting hot, I can see
Tyler Herro scoring thirty five points.

Speaker 4 (40:11):
But mainly you know why say it? Cause the bulls stink.

Speaker 5 (40:18):
That's why put the proper em fastest on the right.
Let's go outside of that. I love the bulls, Oh sure,
but they so it's hard to pick them. It's hard
to pick them because they stink. I hate you, sorry,
Buddy says, Hey, we're good. Really yeah, six Ers, Wallace Man,
we're the easiest. Stay douay. They're going to advance playing

(40:38):
you guys.

Speaker 1 (40:39):
