But that's the thing is that, Look, do I think

podcast about what Browny should or shouldn't call him on
the court, folks would find their way to just make
that the biggest deal in the world, right, and they'll
build another house, and they'll buy a nice jet. Maybe

it's never the right thing on the court, right basketball player,

on in the league. After the last couple of days
and cut down day, these Steelers make official what we
kind of knew last week. Russell Wilson is the starting
quarterback Week one for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yeah, and let
me before we really get in is let me let
me just say this. I'm being real here like I'm
not I'm not I'm not joking around here. I'm talking.

I want you, I want to listen in life, find
someone who will love you and make excuses for you,
like Mike Tomlin and the Steelers do for Russell Wilson,
because then you know you have found someone you should
never let go. They will always be They will always
defend you, whether you deserve to be defended or not.
They will always make excuses for you, whether you deserve

even in the face of knowing that maybe you're not

last year. We need something else we need to get
we do. Let's go justin fields. But so it's going

you knew when Tomlin pulled him out after one drive

egos and how you feel. But I'm willing to put
out there that. Okay, maybe they know how Russell Wilson
would react if he wasn't named the starter right away,
and if Justin Field starts and he's bad, then going
to Russ, Russ is not going to be there mentally,
he will have checked out, he's done, and then the
season really gets bad. But if we go the other

way and Russ win, and we give Russ the job
right away and then he's not good, then we go
to Justin Fields and see what we have for the
rest of the season and if by that point it's
over anyway, Okay, So I think the Steelers may look
at this. I'll leave open the possible they can say,
all right, we can get a whole season out of
quarterbacks if we go Russ to Justin Fields. I don't

know that we get a whole season of quarterbacks if
we go Fields to Russ, because I don't know how
he's going to react to being benched. He's never acted
for a second like he thought his job was in danger. Oh,
by the way, you're welcome. First take for that take
on Friday that we did last Wednesday, that Russell Wilson
needs to take his job seriously like it's the end
of his career. Congratulates using that. Two days later, after

an offensive line that rates really well. The crazy world
of Arthur Smith. It's too bad his name's not Brown
because then we could just play I Am the God
of hell Fire wherever we turn. But you know, life
gives us what it does. So it's Arthur Smith trying
to get something out of this offense, and you look

at your receiving court, George Pickens, beast, Roman Wilson, wait
and see Van Jefferson. I think we know. Calvin Austin,
I think we kind of know. And then Friar Move
while he's healthy is a nice target. Beyond that, it's
an offense that's rated in the bottom ten four of
the last five years. I don't see how this suddenly

gets jump started. So all going to depend on the
health of that defense and the superlative play when healthy
of TJ. Watt, And I gotta imagine in Pittsburgh and
all throughout Pennsylvania and wherever still a nation is, it's

The Kelsey Brothers podcast is a big deal, But it's
a lot of money, you know, thirty million dollars a

On ESPN, they're joking around on TV yesterday and Adam
Schefter was asked about Travis Kelsey and he's kind of

joking around and they were asking what he was doing here,
and Travis Kelsey's gonna do this? He was I know
he wasn't buying and one of the hosts said, I
know he wasn't buying an engagement ring for Taylor Swift
and Adam Schefter just stop, said, how do you know
he wasn't buying an engagement ring for Taylor Swift? Wait,
what do you mean, how do you know he wasn't
Do you know he was? And Adam Schefter no, but
but how do you know he wasn't buying an engagement

ring for Taylor Swift? And the hosts were a little
bit flummixed, and they were like, well, what do you know, Adam,
are you saying anything? And he wasn't saying anything. He
just said, I just you don't know that he wasn't
buying an engagement ring for Taylor Swift. Okay, and it
became a pretty awkward moment. You can see it. It's all
over YouTube and it's right there, and it's Adam Schefter
kind of having some fun. Now, let me just say

this and understand this, Adam Schefter is not going to
do anything that is going to damage his relationship with
Travis Kelcey or the Kansas City Chiefs. He's not going
to even joke around about that. If there he was
just making a joke, He's like, no, no, I'm just kidding.
I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. The fact that he

left it out there and is such an open ended
situation tells me that he knows something and this engagement
is gonna happen, and it's gonna happen sometime in the
next ten days, pretty much to coincide with the very
beginning of their season this year, but probably to happen
so they can get it out of the way before
the football season starts, and that that's kind of the

Chiefs can focus on, you know, football. But Adam Schefter
is not doing this and he's not putting his relationship
with the Chiefs at risk. If this is potentially gonna
piss off Travis kelcey because you know, you know, like, look,
how do you build relationships as an insider. You don't
piss off teams, right, you don't piss off players. You
are beholding to them for information, for them to give
you inside information, for them to give you tips, for

you to break news. They have to know they can
trust you. And you see insiders on the outside if
they do things I don't like that. We're not talking
to that guy, right, Like, look, good luck trying to
get a question at Deon Sanders if you think he's
a crappy coach, right, you're not getting You're not getting
that access. Schefter's not even with a joke. He is
not gonna put that at risk because he knows even
if it's a joke and he doesn't tamp it down.

Suddenly you're causing problems for Travis Kelcey and Tailors because
now the ramp up questions about the engagement are gonna
continue to keep coming and keep coming.

Mahomes and Kelsey. There's no way he does that unless

gotta find a way to make a TV show, maybe
like a twenty minute show a week that could work out.
Judging by that, I could tell within the next ten
days we're going to find out Travis Kelcey and Taylor

I mean, they had the big party that was chronicled
on all of the social media. But certainly what's left
the vestiges of the old regime of paparazzo sites. They
really don't have the same clout they did once upon
a time, nor are they right like they were once

forty days to that and whatever else. People asking me
for tickets to Indianapolis. I have none right now. People
were working on things, but it's just the idea that
it if nobody's looking to do a big denial, there's

it's imminent, and we get a big blow up press
conference and balloons and yeah, you name it, fireworks in there.
Maybe we get a drone show over the castle at Disneyland.

They't come to me for entertainment. The fact that you

behind the plate like he's a catcher, and then he
gives Decoy the sign. Decoy picks up the baseball and

I mean, you had your dog in front of fifty
thousand people pick up a baseball, all the smells, all
the different yell that that's going on, and here's a
dog going. I don't know what the hell this is

he's gonna be good under pressure. He grabs the baseball
and runs it to Otani. I can't get my dog

to not run in the street when he sees a butterfly,
and Otani can get his dog to pick up a
ball and run it to him in front of fifty

season really gets bad. But if we go the other

way and Russ win, and we give Russ the job
right away and then he's not good, then we go
to Justin Fields and see what we have for the
rest of the season and if by that point it's
over anyway, Okay, So I think the Steelers may look
at this. I'll leave open the possible they can say,
all right, we can get a whole season out of
quarterbacks if we go Russ to Justin Fields. I don't

know that we get a whole season of quarterbacks if
we go Fields to Russ, because I don't know how
he's going to react to being benched. He's never acted
for a second like he thought his job was in danger. Oh,

needs to take his job seriously like it's the end

to get something out of this offense, and you look

at your receiving court, George Pickens, beast, Roman Wilson, wait
and see Van Jefferson. I think we know. Calvin Austin,
I think we kind of know. And then Friar Move
while he's healthy is a nice target. Beyond that, it's
an offense that's rated in the bottom ten four of
the last five years. I don't see how this suddenly

gets jump started. So all going to depend on the
health of that defense and the superlative play when healthy
of TJ. Watt, And I gotta imagine in Pittsburgh and
all throughout Pennsylvania and wherever still a nation is, it's

This is following crumbs. Right. So you had the big
story a day ago, the Kelsey Brothers podcast. It is
going to be a three year, one hundred million dollar
endeavor now for them, Okay, I know somehow doesn't have
to make sense for them somehow, uh, Swift, So night,
that's a lot of money to put into a podcast

where you have kind of overnight success with guys. How's
that going to age over the course of the next
couple of years. An age is a lot better if
you know that well. Travis Kelsey is going to be
married to Taylor's engaged and married to Taylor Swift. Over
the course of that three years, suddenly Travis Kelsey's popularity
ain't going anyway.

Is it structured like an NFL deal where he gets
a lot of the money up front?

On ESPN, they're joking around on TV yesterday and Adam
Schefter was asked about Travis Kelsey and he's kind of

joking around and they were asking what he was doing here,
and Travis Kelsey's gonna do this? He was I know
he wasn't buying and one of the hosts said, I
know he wasn't buying an engagement ring for Taylor Swift
and Adam Schefter just stop, said, how do you know
he wasn't buying an engagement ring for Taylor Swift? Wait,
what do you mean, how do you know he wasn't
Do you know he was? And Adam Schefter no, but
but how do you know he wasn't buying an engagement

ring for Taylor Swift? And the hosts were a little
bit flummixed, and they were like, well, what do you know, Adam,
are you saying anything? And he wasn't saying anything. He
just said, I just you don't know that he wasn't
buying an engagement ring for Taylor Swift. Okay, and it
became a pretty awkward moment. You can see it. It's all
over YouTube and it's right there, and it's Adam Schefter
kind of having some fun. Now, let me just say

this and understand this, Adam Schefter is not going to
do anything that is going to damage his relationship with
Travis Kelcey or the Kansas City Chiefs. He's not going
to even joke around about that. If there he was
just making a joke, He's like, no, no, I'm just kidding.
I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. The fact that he

left it out there and is such an open ended
situation tells me that he knows something and this engagement
is gonna happen, and it's gonna happen sometime in the
next ten days, pretty much to coincide with the very
beginning of their season this year, but probably to happen
so they can get it out of the way before
the football season starts, and that that's kind of the

Chiefs can focus on, you know, football. But Adam Schefter
is not doing this and he's not putting his relationship
with the Chiefs at risk. If this is potentially gonna
piss off Travis kelcey because you know, you know, like, look,
how do you build relationships as an insider. You don't
piss off teams, right, you don't piss off players. You
are beholding to them for information, for them to give
you inside information, for them to give you tips, for
(26:27):
you to break news. They have to know they can
trust you. And you see insiders on the outside if
they do things I don't like that. We're not talking
to that guy, right, Like, look, good luck trying to
get a question at Deon Sanders if you think he's
a crappy coach, right, you're not getting You're not getting
that access. Schefter's not even with a joke. He is
not gonna put that at risk because he knows even
if it's a joke and he doesn't tamp it down.

Suddenly you're causing problems for Travis Kelcey and Tailors because
now the ramp up questions about the engagement are gonna
continue to keep coming and keep coming.

Well, well, now the pressure about getting engaged. Are they
getting engaged? Should they not get engaged?

I don't think they should. They've been together for a

And you're not going to put that kind of pressure
on people who can potentially get mad at you for it.
And then Adam Schefter gets cut out and suddenly he
doesn't have any breaking news of the Chiefs and Patrick
Mahomes and Kelsey. There's no way he does that unless
he knows something. So just putting those pieces together. Being

the great Internet and television detective that I am, I
gotta find a way to make a TV show, maybe
like a twenty minute show a week that could work out.
Judging by that, I could tell within the next ten
days we're going to find out Travis Kelcey and Taylor
Swift are engaged. Wow, I like this, Yep, yep. Connect
the dots.

I mean, they had the big party that was chronicled
on all of the social media. But certainly what's left
the vestiges of the old regime of paparazzo sites. They
really don't have the same clout they did once upon
a time, nor are they right like they were once
upon a time. A lot of guesswork anymore, but certainly

a lot of photos I mean, Channing Tatum and all
these other Gambit showing up. Did he talk like that
the whole time? I don't know. That'd be kind of
damn cool if he did. By the way, it looks
like that that movie's gonna get greenlit and they're gonna

I will be there opening day with as tall a
hurricane as I could possibly smuggle into a theater. Anyway,
that being said, all the celebrities showing up, like you
always try to connect the dots, saying it's birthday parties

downtime before the tour. I get all the updates and

it's like fifty eight days to this and forty eight,
forty days to that and whatever else. People asking me
for tickets to Indianapolis. I have none right now. People
were working on things, but it's just the idea that
it if nobody's looking to do a big denial, there's
two schools of thought. Either you're on the money and

it's imminent, and we get a big blow up press
conference and balloons and yeah, you name it, fireworks in there.
Maybe we get a drone show over the castle at Disneyland.

an entertainment inside, Like I could be the new Steve Cometco.
They't come to me for entertainment. The fact that you
gotta know Cometo. Yeah, you want to get a Kurt

out with Decoy, a dog that once he went public. Hey, yes,
Decoy is my dog, and what an adorable dog. He

and he puts the baseball down next to Dcoy, who
was standing at the pitching rubber. Otani goes and stands
behind the plate like he's a catcher, and then he
gives Decoy the sign. Decoy picks up the baseball and

runs it to him behind home plate. Greatest first pitch ever.
I mean, you had your dog in front of fifty
thousand people pick up a baseball, all the smells, all
the different yell that that's going on, and here's a
dog going. I don't know what the hell this is
all about, but hey, it's Otani's dog, so you know
he's gonna be good under pressure. He grabs the baseball
and runs it to Otani. I can't get my dog

to not run in the street when he sees a butterfly,
and Otani can get his dog to pick up a
ball and run it to him in front of fifty
thousand people at Chevezravin.

Yeah, my dog, if I throw him the ball, right,
the little squeaky ball that you throw, he goes and
gets it, runs almost right back to you, and then
darts left or right to wherever he's decided he's gonna go,
lay down and play with the Ball's like, you know,
we could have play catch. We could have done this
for a little while. Instead, you have ended the game
on me. Fortunately he doesn't run into traffic, at least

he hasn't in a while, so at least I got
that going for him. I would trust him, though, so
I'm rare he's rarely off the leash if we're outside,
because I mean he may be gone. I mean might
just decide, Hey, there's better food.

he takes a dog off the leash and the dog
