(00:50):
Apparently it is ball night at Doctor Stadium tonight. You
get a ball. Everybody in attendance gets a ball because
there's every other batter coming up is hitting a home run.
Home run. Audims hit what four in the first first
time in franchise history. Suzuki just went deep off of
Bobby Miller, so it's five to three Dodgers over the Cubs.
In the third, Max Munsey hit his fourteenth of the
(01:11):
year in that first inning on his babble ahead night.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
So one of those old traditions biblehead nights.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
You got that. The other is.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
Pretty cool, you know, the international players on display. I mean,
you've got several Japanese players in this series and they've
all shown out right. We talked about Yamamoda yesterday, Suzuki
a couple of big hits. So yeah, it's it's been
a fun run here these last couple of nights. Obviously,
Dodgers five to three. It's the third that game started
(01:40):
an hour ago. So at this rate, Otani may get
to fifty to fifty to night. Well, Zaraty got a
home run, Artie got a home run.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
Just gotta get three more, couple more stolen bases, like
ain't gonna get getna get a bunch of bats, that's
for damn sure. Look, we got Jason call stopping buying
about twenty minutes. All the latest news in the NFL.
Will preview tomorrow night's big TNF game between the Bills
and the Dolphins. But the latest on Deshaun Watson today,
And this is where I'm gonna kind of zig where
you think I'm gonna zag in a second. Watson denied
(02:12):
the latest sexual assault allegations. This story came up about
a day or so ago, another woman accusing him of crime.
In twenty twenty. The NFL says it's still reviewing the
complaint under the Personal Conduct Policy, but Watson's not gonna
be on the Commissioner's exemplest because there have been no
formal charges and the league's review has just begun. Kevin
(02:35):
Stefanski just said, we're gonna let this play out. He's
playing with us on Sunday. Now I get that. The Browns,
they gotta be sick and tired of this. I saw again,
we got to get through it. Look, the first things
first before we get to something a little bit different
about this story, is that how is this gonna go?
I should have bet my Summer Bowl prediction Jameis Winston's
(02:55):
gonna start at least half the games for the Browns,
because now it looks like it's gonna be more like
three quarters. We told you the other night it's not
gonna be very long because on the field, if Deshaun
Watson is not performing, the Browns aren't gonna go through
this again. They are going to go to go to
Jameis Winston and Deshaun Watson will not start another two
weeks and they have no choice the whole Oh, they're
(03:17):
gonna cut him. You can't cut him, you got if
all this money, all the dead cut money, that's not
going to happen. What most likely is going to happen.
If this is what's happening right now with this situation,
and again there is language in his contract about what
money they would owe him if in fact a crime
you know that's accused of. There's there's definitely I guarantee
you all the Brown's lawyers have been looking over this
(03:40):
thing with a fine tooth comb for the last year.
What would happen is this Winston will become the quarterback
and Deshaun Watson will just be deactivated and he will
spend time away from the team. Doesn't need to be
in the Commissioner's exempt list or anything else. He just
will be inactive. That's how it's gonna.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
Go for him. The Buccaneers and Keyshawan all, yeah, Jennifer,
you're you're inactive for us the rest of the way.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Uh, and we'll sort this out in the off season.
They're not gonna make a rash decision on Watson now
they will, he will be away from the team, and
then things will get sorted out in the off season.
If this does wind up getting settled, UH in a
fortuitous way for Deshaun Watson, maybe he comes back, depending
on how Jamis Winston plays, depending on how Drian Thompson
Robinson plays, depending on how Derek Anderson plays. UH, And
(04:29):
maybe he sees his way back. But I guarantee you
that it's not gonna go where suddenly he's a backup.
It's gonna be he's away from the team and they're
going in this direction now, and whatever happens money wise,
we'll figure it out in a few months. It's only
the middle of September. We don't have to cut him,
we don't have to eat money yet. Let's wait and see.
Let's let let's watch it play out, not only from
(04:51):
the legal standpoint, but from the standpoint of where our
team is this year. So we'll wait and we'll say
that's something that will work on in January, February, March
we get closer to the league year, that's what you
will see it. So it's not gonna be something rational
suddenly he's out. It will be he's more inactive and
away from the team.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
As of now, you've got the schedule ahead at Jacksonville,
who overall did a decent job with Miami, a couple
of jail break kind of opportunities in terms of big plays,
and then you have the Giants there you go, and
then on the road at the Raiders, followed by a
(05:27):
game against the Commanders. So you got some winnable games
up on the slate, and for week one, part of
part of me, you know, with all of it, and
you're not giving people mulligans or teams mulligans, but you're
trying to go through the stories like we talked about
with the Jets, right, you got a date with the
forty nine ers in week one, you had some tough
(05:48):
sledding and for the Browns you get out of the
gate and you have a dismal performance. But it's week one.
He's got the death of his five. They're hanging over him.
You don't know how people are going to respond to that.
If you didn't have the history, he would he probably
would have gotten a pass. Unfortunately you got that. And
(06:09):
I'm not talking about the off feel. I'm just saying
the last couple of ye one of his teammates died
Clemson two, right, you know, so there's a lot of
that that weighing there. So not to say that you
turn on it instantly and that suddenly in week two
he goes and lights it up. But maybe there's a
there's a little bit more. Now with Stefanski mentioned him
(06:30):
and his presser being asked about these newest allegations, he's
got the thousand yards stare at the reporters like, I
don't want to deal with this anymore. I don't want to.
I don't think anybody doesn't. Already he settled with twenty
three out of twenty four the last go around of
these these allegations. Now the Texas Grand Juries didn't indict,
(06:54):
but you've got another another civil matter that's now hanging
out in the balance. He says, he for learned of it,
just as the public did, so no advance notice, he
and his lawyers and anybody else. And now the NFL
just begins an investigation, which we've seen it go both
ways for the NFL. Either it's very fast and it's
(07:16):
an expeditious fact finding mission because they want it done
and resolved to whatever satisfaction Goodell and his office mates
there at the NFL down on Park Avenue figure out,
or it drags forever and becomes the all right, we'll
wait and if nothing else happens, status quo, go play.
(07:38):
So I would guess, at least in the interim it's
the latter, as this is just fresh and new information.
But the fact that he played terribly in week one
and now has a date against the team with a
really damn good pass rush that could make his day
miserable again, that might expedite things, at least from the
Brown side, because remember, you get a specials and privileges
(08:01):
and everything else if you're playing well. I'm not saying
it's right, but that's generally the way this has always worked. Right,
if you're playing well until forced off the field, you'll
be under center and he hasn't earned that, you know,
you know, latitude from the squad. Whatever you think of
the off field transgressions.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
Exit out about a Fresco exit, swollen dome, the Jason
Smith Show with Mike Harmon. So that's like likely where
it's headed week three. Inactive Browns will figure it out. Now,
let me just give credit fear for for a couple
of things, because obviously, look we talk about Deshaun Watson.
It's a really heavy topic and it's and it's it's
like I said, I get that people are kind of
(08:43):
like Kevin Stefanski, man, I got to hear about that. Yeah,
good fortune, it's a thing. But I want to say
this because this is what is really amazing and so
incredibly impressive, is that since they've signed to Shaun Watson,
he has barely played due to suspension injury, and when
he has played, he has not been good. This should
(09:04):
have dragged them so far down because you traded away
three first round picks, a third round pick, and a
fifth round pick, and he's taking up all sorts of
your salary cap room because all the money is guaranteed.
You haven't had their first round pick. This is now
two years in a row. You haven't had it yet.
You traded away three this you gave away a lot
of assets and you're not getting anything from him. And
(09:27):
still you are over five hundred in the last two
plus years since you signed to Shan Watson, including a
playoff berth last year when you played four quarterbacks. That
shouldn't be possible. When when you give up everything to
get a guy, you give away draft picks, you don't
(09:47):
get anything from him. You should be starting over that
division this she's over, new ed coach do everything, and
instead Stefanski and the Browns are not only playing well,
they're playoff threat. Like, look at what the Broncos did
to go get Russell Wilson. What did they have to do?
We're starting over. We are starting over. We're a terrible
(10:08):
team and we're starting over with bow Knicks. And if
he's no good, we're finishing the top three. We're gonna
draft Shador Sanders next year and Dion's gonna be my
offensive coordinator. Like, you give up a lot to get
him and you'll be starting over. Right, If Aaron Rodgers
doesn't work out for the Jets this year, what's gonna happen.
They're gonna start over, new GM, new ed coach, knew
everything new going forward. So for the fact that the
(10:31):
Browns have not only been able to stay afloat, but
stay competitive and be a playoff caliber team and put
together a really good team, that is something, man, that
is something. And they've done it without their best running back,
who's been a who was a top five running back
in the NFL until he got hurt. That is incredibly
impressive and I want to give the Browns a nod
for that, because, look, this story is really tough. But
the fact that they're not just starting over again, man,
(10:54):
you got you gotta be able to hang your hat
on that and say, hey, if we can just get
a little bit something, we can start winning. And that's
another reason why the push to to to jamis Winston
has to come sooner because it's, hey, we can't keep
doing this, man, we can't keep putting our seasons in
jeopardy with no play from our quarterback. Our defense is
good enough, our running game is good enough. We're gonna
(11:14):
get our guy back. We could throw the We got
to be able to do this, So that's gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
Well, that's the curiosity right going forward with this this
squad is you know, how long can can you wait?
Because while you've been able to sign guys to extension
and keep a pretty good base of the players that
you've drafted and developed, there at some point a little
wanderlust and then some owners that look and say, hey,
(11:39):
we wanna we got to come over the top. With
a bigger check. But for Andrew Barry, and of course
we've talked about Stefanski a ton what he was able
to do last year, Right, he was Coach of the Year.
And then you look at Barry and the not always
first round because of the trade trade away, Right, you're
finding value late. And that's what they've become very adept at,
(12:02):
which is the absolute antithesis of everything the Cleveland Browns
organization was for so many years. Right, it was always
the all right, let's watch what they do. All right,
that guy got a couple of games, he was okay,
and now he's out of the league and we can
go do that like you do with the jersey, the
famous Browns quarterback jersey and whatever else. But you know
(12:22):
the rest of their squad right now, you've got one
that can go win as long as you don't turn
the ball over give it a way, which means Jameis
Winston will be an interesting experiment given his history of
airmailing a ball.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
Yeah, but here's the thing. At least they're gonna say, well,
we'll get a three hundred yard game with three interception
instead of one hundred and sixty five yard game with
two interceptions.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
That's fair.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
No, no, we'll get three hundred yards, three touchdowns, three picks.
He'll keep both teams in the game. Well, but that's
the other day. He'll keep both teams. We're also now.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
In the like I always say, a man with no
conscience on the field, the Gardner minshees of the world.
It's like, I know what I am in the league.
At this point, let's go for the Browns. They've got
an opportunity. Look, the Steelers win Week one, but there's
not anybody really buying into that squad, even though they're
gonna be two to zero after this week, or should
be in theory, even if it's down the road. But
(13:13):
the Ravens, okay, they're good. And Cincinnati dropped week one.
Now they always dropped the first couple of weeks. They're terrible.
I don't know why they can't get out of the gates.
But they're healthy. Ish T Higgins does he play or
does he not? I don't know. That may drag out
a long time. Jamar Chase, is he gonna round into
shape or is he gonna just say, you know what,
(13:35):
I played a couple of games for you. A body here.
But they still got a lot that they're dealing on.
So the opportunity for the Browns is certainly there and
you can't squander it.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Exit out bout a fresca exit swallow dope, So a
different way to go. I give the Browns a lot
of crime, I mean for being this a playoff team
and a playoff threat. With this, it should be starting over.
Who saluted tight Shirts? Favorite team? I'll tell you I
did to hear the Cleveland drop once. I can't call
for it, man, you just have to hit it.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
Come on, I enjoyed you speaking highly.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
Why would I interrupt that? Who's your head coach? Who's
the head coach Cleveland?
Speaker 4 (14:09):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (14:10):
Deshaun Watson? Right? Very good? Yes, let's try it. Very nice? Yeah, Sam,
Sam Retigliano is your head coach? That's yeah, Samratigliano. I'm
sure it's not Peyton Manning's not Steyton Manning, really Manning,
it's not Eli Manning. It's not Copper Manning, and it's
not it's not Tarren Manning, and it's not amount of Manning's. Oh,
(14:31):
it's the amount of man Yeah. Who just told you?
Did shee just tell you? It was Kevin Stefanski nice job, Shay,
very nice, right.
Speaker 3 (14:38):
He gets the.

other big quarterback questions in the NFL? Keep it right here,

We've all used different tools.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
I told you we're gonna do the Aaron Rodgers Bolo
story later. No, we don't know, let's get it started. Maybe. Hey, yes,
Jet's quarterback Aaron Rodgers using the new version of relax
today talking about the NFL season being something that, hey,
(16:23):
we always have to stay relaxed. People think the season
is like you're out in the prairie or the desert.
You're moving around trying to find water. But it's more
like a nice slow blo where we're just swaying with
the music. So you actually a slower bolo. Ty shirt
the slower bleo. I'm sorry, I'm still vibing in here,
so dancing. But Rogers says, a slower blo, So we
(16:44):
eat a slower bolero. When I think of Bolaro, I think,
wasn't Bo Derek in the movie called Bolaro? Yes it was.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
Didn't they use a bolaro in the movie ten? Yes, Yes,
this is a slow Bolo. By the way, have you
seen Bolo lately?
Speaker 1 (16:58):
No, I've not seen the movie. Was that like nineteen
eighty three?
Speaker 3 (17:02):
I don't even think it's if you haven't seen it,
it's new.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Do you think you can even get it?
Speaker 6 (17:05):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (17:06):
I bet you we can't.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
No, I don't think so. It's not like the gronking
to remember that you read we found out last night,
least to.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
A dramatic reading. If we could get some numbers on it,
let's go.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Here we go. Here's the bolero music. This is what
the NFL season is like, according to Aaron Rodgers and.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
Those hips swaying. It's a slow ba.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
Shannon Shark.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
Well, you don't see twenty thirteen there were two men
in the white fields.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
You don't see anything. You just see a video. And
here's some moaning. Whoa as your season? We're rowing three,
But it's okay, we're swaying, We're rowing four. Were lots
of the Patriots were dancing on the wind. We lost
a boon Nicks in the Broncos. We're owing five, we're
owing six. But it's a slow bolero. We're good. We're
bolero in a bowl. Isn't that down the street from
(17:55):
us bolero bow l e r o bowl Yeah, bowlero.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
There there's some of those.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
Yeah, football is a slow bolero, that's what it is.
I've never I've never heard that before. It's a slow
bolero type.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
And you know what, it's even better if you wear
a bowler hat.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
Joining us now in the hot line a man who
last year got married and this was his wedding song.
But that this bolo was the wedding song of NFL
insider Jason Cole, who joins us now on the hotline,
Jay call, what's happening?
Speaker 7 (18:27):
Actually okay, wait wait wait wait, Shay talked to me
and he needs to he needs to get the better
his pop this time.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
Uh in re whin He's got to get to a
better spot for his phone. But he was into the
bolero maybe maybe, I mean he was into it. You
might have been opening a door. And this is a
Jet season. This is the NFL films song they used
to the Jets season. They just they just showed Jordan
(19:02):
Mason running through holes to this music for the entire time.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
I mean, the offensive nine of the forty nine ers
did work like a symphony.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
They played all the right notes, all right, Jason Cole
is now boalero proof he is with us, Jay Cole,
what's up, buddy? Is he swinging along to the music.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
Isn't this where James Earl Jones became a snake in
Conanda Barbery? But I forgot he was the bad guy. Yeah,
all the movies we.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Talked about James Earl Jones, I forgot he was the
bad guy in conan Tyshert now is really into playing
balero music. He's in love.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
He's now gone down a rabbit hole.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
He's now I believe we have Jason Cole. Do we
have you? I don't care. The song's great.
Speaker 6 (19:51):
You are continuing along on the bolero theme, like where
did this come from?
Speaker 1 (19:57):
Because Aaron Rodgers said today the season like a slow bolero,
and everybody's got to relax.
Speaker 6 (20:03):
I forgot about.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
It.
Speaker 6 (20:08):
His range if ready to play, He's ready to play
Jeopardy again.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
Look ja call if I send to you. One NFL
quarter said, the season is like a slow bolero. There's
nobody else you're going to guess besides Aaron Rodgers.
Speaker 6 (20:26):
Well, Andrew Luck if he was still playing, I would
know it.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
Is that what played while he was writing a civil
War Notes from the Front Bros.
Speaker 6 (20:36):
A little after that, but yeah, like he he could
have done some of the Civil Wars stuff with. Yeah,
let me think about sims now, Phil Kate McNown now.
Speaker 3 (20:56):
He couldn't get to the fifty yard line.
Speaker 6 (21:00):
Jay Cutler would let go bo Derek. I thought I
watched an old version of ten. I mean no, that's
it's pretty much Andrew Luck and Aaron Rodgers, so Stamford
and Cal like Elwait couldn't do it. I can tell
you that Plunk couldn't do it. So that's about it.
That's about it.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
I feel like you're just naming quarterback stream of consciousness
pretty much. Jim, So, hey, where are you after the
Jets on Monday? Really concerned? Not concerned, somewhat concerned?
Speaker 6 (21:30):
Where are you not concerned at all? I think they're fine.
I didn't think they were going to win that game
to begin with, and I thought it was going to
be kind of ugly because the forty nine ers are
just better than them and they're more you know, they
probably went a little revenge from last season. They've been
waiting to win a game for a long time home dog,
(21:52):
but a home team on a Monday night Yeah, they
had something they wanted to prove, so and they did it.
And the Jets aren't there yet. Like Roger hasn't played
in the year, and he looked good. I would say
sixty to seven percent of the game he looked really,
really good, and other times he was kind of struggling,
(22:12):
like a quarterback who's playing with a lot of new
guys and who hasn't played in a long time. So
I'm not concerned about the Jets. I'm not concerned about
anybody in Week one unless you're Dave Canalis and Dave
Tepper's your boss. Other than that, I'm I'm I'm good.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
Well, there's our first temper reference. Knock it down, all right,
down right there, I got right, temper, got it? Yeah,
so they're.
Speaker 6 (22:40):
All their only temper reference until he hired this guy.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
Well, he shows up at a restaurant, we create somebody. Yeah,
I mean, it's only a matter of time.
Speaker 6 (22:51):
Yeah, it's he's an angry man.
Speaker 3 (22:52):
Look, there's no question about it. And certainly that effort
isn't going to help. All Right, we're in the week
two already. We got Dolphins, we got Buffalo Bills, a
lot of long injury lists for the Miami Dolphins. But
Buffalo being carried by Josh Allen banged up a little bit,
but you know, they acquitted themselves pretty well in Week
one against Arizona. What are you expecting tomorrow?
Speaker 6 (23:15):
I hate Thursday night games that actually means something.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
You'd rather have a ballero instead of that baite?
Speaker 6 (23:23):
Yeah, I have a nice long wait, you know, kind
of an interlude, you know, kind of thing you.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Rather you'd rather have, You rather have Titans and Cardinals
on Thursday night?
Speaker 6 (23:34):
Yeah, I would like let us let the Scrubs play
on Thursday night, and you know, not a meaningful game
like this is a game that could term of the season.
We're playing on Thursday.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
Night swing the balance of power in the forest. Dude,
you are never getting a Christmas card from Al Michaels again.
You want to put all the bad game. You saw
how he feels about bad games. On Tuesday.
Speaker 6 (23:58):
He sold out to take the money to do Thursday night.
It's on him. You should have thought about this, Okay, Sorry, Al,
I hear, Al, You're one of the greats of all time,
but just sold out to do Thursday nights. Okay, that's
just the way it is, all right, and so I'm
sorry if you've got to do Tennessee Arizona like seventeen
weeks in a row.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Not my mall.
Speaker 3 (24:20):
Hey, do you think he's gonna sell us a blender
by the end of the third quarter tomorrow?
Speaker 6 (24:24):
Oh my god, he's doing He's gonna be doing Patomatic
with Redos. Yeah, it's just he's gonna be talking about
how many times are you gonna talk about the over
undering games like that and a half?
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Maybe let's go I picture it kind of like in
a movie where a producer walks in when in commercial's going, okay,
I'll remember, drive people to the website Amazon Prime. Just
drive people to site. Right, you can get it. You
can get try before you buy. You can pick out
some stuff, they send it to you, you pay, you send
it back. Just drive people to site. I'll drive that business.
Speaker 6 (24:58):
Is it really forty two and a half? So yeah,
that has been great, you know Hitchhiker's Guide to the
Galaxy Alan Michael Night so perfect. I just this is
a really important game, and the plan short week where
you need the team gets to practice. I mean, you know,
(25:21):
we've barely gotten past Tyrek and Cuffs, you know, like
he's had to apologize today. Basically, you know, now we're
supposed to focus on a football game on Thursday. What's
he going to do?
Speaker 1 (25:34):
Jason Cole with us Jason Smith make harmon life from
the Tyre dot co stud No, I'm going to follow up.
I want people to know that you are coming on
talking with us. Hey, who is this guy with suddenly
coaching points that used to come on and talk about
cowboy bees and now is they're mentioning Bo Derek, who
I don't even know who that is. I don't know
who is Bo Derek? Who is that guy? I don't
know Bo Derek? And so I want to make sure
(25:56):
people know when you make a good point. Jason Cole,
long time insider, Hall of very Good voters, been putting
very good players in the Hall of Fame for the
last twenty years. He's our guests now here on the show.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
And kids have seen Tommy Boy. They know who Bo
Derek is.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
Yeah, okay, I don't know about that.
Speaker 8 (26:12):
But.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
How about from nineteen seventy seven, if.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
You if you say, if you said Bo Derek, they said, wait, wait, wait,
is that one of Derek Jeters? Kids? Is that that is?
What are we go.
Speaker 6 (26:26):
But that's when I don't want to touch. Wow, No,
but I don't want that's a great one.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
I don't know, man, I I'm nervous about the bell.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
Like the Bills are a big either way team for
me and and I don't know that they're where they
need to be right now, short week going to this
game with any kind of confidence. I think Miami's gonna
gonna take this game. They're gonna win by by a
good amount.
Speaker 6 (26:51):
Okay, good, no, thanks.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Thanks for that.
Speaker 9 (26:56):
Got you.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
I do a whole thing, and I he set you
when you going, Okay, that's good, Okay, the game, that's good.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
That's like what you do.
Speaker 6 (27:05):
I will I will agree with you from this perspective
that the Bills defenses has taken a step backwards. Right.
They're not what they were last year when they were
actually good and Josh Allen was getting them into a
lot of trouble. Like in this last game, they got
Josh Allen into a lot of trouble. He tried though
(27:26):
in the first in that first quarter when he fumbled
when you know, missing the wide up guy because he
was looking for a deeper throw. So you know, Josh
Allen initially I was like worried about, Okay, the overrated
thing going to actually play out, and then he fixed it,
and then you know, you played the spectacular game because
(27:47):
the Bill of Defense kept you know, giving up yards,
giving up points in this game. So I would I
would agree with you from this regard. I like the
Dolphins at home on a Thursday hot weather, for they're
not going to be ready for that, even though it's
a night game. You know, it's nasty this time of
the year. The size of the Paull meadow bugs that
are going to be flying around the lights at that
(28:13):
whatever they call it stadium now I can't I don't
even know anymore. Like they are enormous. They're like flying saucers.
That's how big the pall meadow bugs are. And if
the Bills players look up and see them, they may
run and hide because it's it's that awful.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
So there it is a bug update here on the
show with us.
Speaker 9 (28:35):
Oh.
Speaker 6 (28:35):
The first time I went out to play basketball when
I lived in South Florida, and you know, it was
nighttime because you couldn't play the in the day. It
was just it was too it was too nasty. Sure
during the day, so you go play at night and
I'm looking up at the lights and it's just a
swarm of things and I'm like, what are those? And
they go other pal metal bugs. I'm like, what are those?
(28:56):
They're going flying cockroaches. I'm like, did I move to?
What am I doing? Why am I here? I want
to go home. Let me go home, No, California, please
get me back.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
I thought he was really gonna go full on spoken
word shatner like Beach Boys lyrics.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
I was thinking more in laws, cheechie flies as biggest birds,
picking up children and carry them over. Shell serpentine, shell serpentine.
Speaker 6 (29:24):
Uh, what I'm talking about?
Speaker 1 (29:26):
He's on Twitter at Jason Cole sixty two. That's at
Jason Cole sixty two.
Speaker 6 (29:32):
Episode without swearing. My wife crushed me last week.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
No, no, that's good. It's good.
Speaker 3 (29:39):
And now you can now you can go dance with
her to a nice bolaro.
Speaker 6 (29:43):
That's absolutely correct.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
There we go.
Speaker 6 (29:45):
Now, I'm feeling very regantic of this moment.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
Talking about Paul Metto bugs. I really got it jelling
on the show with those lunatics. We talked about Paul
Meto bugs transition. All right, Hey, don't worry I'm not
gonna shan in sharp Benny now good. We won't put
any video. Boner Jay call take it.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
Easy by say buddy.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Ty're still playing this song. I haven't posted an hour
and a half. It's a long song. Hey, maybe maybe
Moncey Belanos will tell us what's trending to a nice
slow balero like Aaron Rodgers likes. Right now, Mancy, you
know this.
Speaker 4 (30:25):
Is hard for me, fellas because I am a fast
talker and this is slowing you down, slowing me down.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Wow, Okay, you.
Speaker 4 (30:33):
Know, so we're gonna take it easy here on this update.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
Wow, you sound like you're one of those people on
the radio late at night doing advice shows.
Speaker 4 (30:42):
I have terrible advice.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
No pretty good? Like, Hey, so, so what do I do?
Speaker 3 (30:46):
My girlfriend just told me she wants to see other people.
It still wants to date me.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
What should we do?
Speaker 4 (30:50):
Let her see other people?
Speaker 1 (30:53):
And then you let and then you laugh at me? Okay, hell,
then you talk for about two minutes and he say,
let's play a song.
Speaker 4 (30:59):
Let's plass song.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (31:00):
Maybe I haven't seen my calling here. Maybe that is
it it?
Speaker 1 (31:03):
Why was Monci's update nine minutes long? She just went
so slow because the balero music music exactly.
Speaker 8 (31:10):
Guys, we are on fifty to fifty watches we have
been with show hey o Tani. He is now at
forty seven homers, forty eight stolen bases. He even had
a two RBI single. And right now the Dodgers are
beating the Cubs seven to three. It's the top of
the fifth inning. Giants just all over the Brewers ten
to one. Bottom of the sixth, the Mariners are beating
the Padres five to one, top of the seventh, and
you can catch all the action on FS one earlier
(31:32):
to earlier. Today, it was Francisco Lindor who broke up
a no hitter that the Blue Jays had going on.
Then the Mets scored six runs all in the ninth inning.
Speaker 4 (31:40):
They beat the blue.
Speaker 8 (31:41):
Jays six to two, while the Nationals outscored the Braves
five to one. So Atlanta one game out of the
final walkhard spot in the National League. Behind the Mets,
the Yankees had a four to three victory over the
Royals and eleven innings, it was Jazz Chisholm Junior who
just put the ball in play gets the walk off RBI,
and the Twins at a six to four win over
the Angels. The Tigers, who are three games out of
(32:02):
the final wallcard spot in the AL behind the Twins.
Speaker 4 (32:05):
They beat the Rockies seven to four.
Speaker 8 (32:07):
In the NFL, Week two kicks off with Thursday Night
football Bills and Dolphins. You guys were just talking about it.
The Dolphins did rule out running back Raheem Moster because
of a chest injury. Running Back de von a Chan
He's gonna be a game time decision because of that
ankle injury. Bild's quarterback Josh Allen, who had a bit
of a left hand injury, He is good to go.
Other quarterback news a Raven's quarterback Lamar Jackson, not on
(32:28):
the injury report, will start Sunday against the Raiders. Steelers
quarterback Russell Wilson still limited at practice with that calf injury.
Speaker 4 (32:34):
Packers head coach Matt Laflores as a door still.
Speaker 8 (32:37):
Open for Jordan Love to play in Week two against
the Colts to spite that knee injury. As for running
back Christian McCaffrey, well, he was a limited participant at
practice today. According to head coach Kyle Shanahan, his mentality
is that he's gonna play on Sunday, but the NFL
network is reporting that the chances are a long shot
that he actually plays in Minnesota, while the Rams plays
wide receiver Puka Nakua on the ir and Sean McVay
(32:58):
says that he can miss more than those four games
because of that knee injury. Bengals wide receiver t Higgins
was not seen that practice either because of that hamstring injury.
And in the WNBA, the Aces a defeat of the
Fever eighty six to seventy five. Asia Wilson double double
twenty seven points twelve rebounds also broke the single season
WNBA scoring record tonight, and Caitlin Clark struggled from the
(33:19):
field six of twenty two to one of ten from
the three point line. She ended with sixteen points and
six assists. Back to you, guys, thank you money. That
was a pretty good pace she kept up there, Thank you.
If we kept going with the bolero, you'd still be going.
Speaker 4 (33:32):
I'd still be going, I'd still be on Dodgers.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
You'll be giving the first score of the night. The
bass is slowly, slowly as he goes into a double play.
It's just hard right to not in the second.
Speaker 4 (33:44):
Inning, second inning, there he goes.
Speaker 3 (33:47):
In the third inning, there was a pitching change. Take
you through, thank you mind.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
Yeah. Coming up next, we're gonna ask the biggest question
about the biggest sports story of the day. Keep it
right here, Jason Mike On. Now it is Bolaro night,
it's Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (34:03):
I saw him positive.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
I know it's like in twenty seven minutes. I know
it's like inegata davida. I know, bless you.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern, seven
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (34:22):
She's gonna keep going with Bollero music apparently once it's
over Fox Sports Radio. The Jason Smith Show with my
best friend Mike Harmon. Yeah, gotta listen to the whole show. True.
So it was earlier today the Shannon Sharp sex tape. Wow,
this sunden are goes to Bullero music. Everybody's paying attention now,
(34:44):
good morning. Got everybody's tongues wagon as an live stream
of Shannon Sharp allegedly having sex with a woman whose
name we believe is Michelle very sexual strong Twitter game
was posted on to social media. Now, in the very beginning,
Shannon Sharp said, I was hacked. We are vigorously working
(35:06):
to solve this problem. Then likely he realized, oh, no,
one seems like they're really mad.
Speaker 3 (35:11):
Wait, look at how many millions of views and downloads
and comments this has gotten.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
I could admit that.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
It was me, a big fat one.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
After Shannon Sharps has known it's a video that you
don't see whoever's in the video. You just hear the
video for a few minutes.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
Sounded like it was very vigorous and uh, fun workout.
Speaker 1 (35:30):
Yeah, it was fun time had Hey got it? Hey,
you know what? Don't skip leg day?
Speaker 3 (35:34):
No, not different, We never skip leg day.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
So it goes from oh, I have been hacked, and
I am vigorously trying to find out what happened to
a few hours later when he realizes, hey, no one
seems really mad. Oh I'll go on a podcast and say,
oh yeah.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
No, that was me.
Speaker 9 (35:49):
See I called ESPN after. I'm like, I just got
this good, tell them the truth, I said, I just
got to tell them the truth. My phone wasn't hacked. Uh,
it wasn't an it wasn't a prank. It was me
being healthy. Catta male. I mean y'all thought I would
bullet jib oh Joe, see, I'll be lying.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
Lie Okay, one one of my favorite terms in American culture.
I'm just doing what any healthy acting. Yes. No one
is saying that the sex is a bad thing. Sex
is a good thing, sex is a fun thing. It's
when you live streaming.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Quoting Madonna while here head.
Speaker 1 (36:28):
I was gonna go, sex is natural, sex is good.
Speaker 3 (36:31):
Not everybody doesn't, but everybody we're going George Michael.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
Look, no one saying like I like how he's trying
to say, Hey, I wasn't doing anything that is wrong, Like, no,
that any of you would like to do. No, And
if I'm ESPN, I would say no, I get that,
but the live streaming is not really right. Oh oh
well that yeah, but you know I would do it
any there like now I'm putting it on. Well, how
could you blame me for this? Okay, I get it,
(36:56):
I understand, and and and again. All of a sudden,
and he says, oh, yeah, it was me when he
realized nothing was really bad gonna come of it. No,
I want to ask you this hit me. Yeah, I
want to ask you this was it Shannon Sharp accidentally
live streamed he and allegedly Michelle And then when it
(37:22):
didn't seem like it was that big a deal, he
admitted to it. Or was this, Oh I didn't know
I was live streaming this. Oh, here we go.
Speaker 3 (37:32):
There's a lot of clicks, there's a lot of people
paying attention to what I'm doing. I never categorically ruled
that out of anything. Whenever you're trying to get some
heat and let's start, let's go through all the big
heavyweight folks in our business looking for contracts, new paydays,
(37:52):
expansions of empires, and we've certainly seen a lot of it,
empire building these last year for Shannon Sharp, he's playing
with house money man, he's the last year or so,
like he's taking victory lab man. Look it skips no
longer on air. He won that one, right, go on down.
So would I rule it out categorically?
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Hell no, I mean because look, I don't I don't
live stream, I don't do that off my phone. But
I gotta think that if I'm going to have sex,
I want to make sure the live stream on my
phone is off. Like that's something that you know you
want you kind of want to make sure you don't
just put it down. I get that you think you
hang up pickter talking with a friend, but oh suddenly
(38:34):
the live stream is up and it's facing away from
every Well, but had he already live stream today?
Speaker 3 (38:39):
Like that's thing, like I haven't checked the timeline of
had he already done a live video thing? And maybe
he just didn't turn off? And how many clicks of
a button can you know? It's like the how many
licks does it get and take to get to the
center of a tuzzi roll pop? How many uh clicks
on my phone does it take to get a live.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
I gotta think it's a little bit it's a little
bit uh, a little bit uh concerning that, Oh I'm
just turning this off. I was gonna lie, where were
you doing? Were you live streaming right before? And then
you stopped live streaming?
Speaker 3 (39:11):
That's the other question is shon own live streaming does
have an assistants in this in this day and age.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
I don't put anything past anybody where you think I
can get it gets me clicks.
Speaker 3 (39:22):
All right, especially here, it gets show anything. You get
a lot of attention. You got to use the term
bull jive and you.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
Didn't do anything. Yeah, you didn't get you know, I'll
tell you. I don't know. Man again, I don't go
a lot, but I gotta think that you're gonna want
to make sure that's not the case.
Speaker 3 (39:36):
If you're gonna go have sex. I'll try to go
live in a minute. We'll see how quickly I can
get it from a locked phone position.
Speaker 1 (39:42):
Ty Shirt says, you have some of the audio from
the live stream. I was watching live stream. You want some? Yeah, yeah,
let me hear. Oh yeah, there we go.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
You know you want and she do.
Speaker 6 (40:00):
On it.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
You don't forget the touched.
Speaker 1 (40:02):
I thought you were going to play Bolero mutic No.
I really need I need to exit ut out of Fresco,
exit Swallen Dome. Coming up next. We'll tell you who's
gonna win t N Aftermorrow night, Fox
