Tyraq dot com is the way tire buying should be. Well, maybe,
and I'm just throwing this out there, Mike Harman, maybe
I man not ready to again. Wait Radio, you're not

(00:57):
ready to I'm not quite ready. Maybe maybe the bills
are gonna be okay without Stefande.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
You think maybe they'll be alright without the.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
Audition with by subtraction that I tried to preach the
entire offseason. There might actually be something to that maybe
there are right. Not having a number one saying me, me, me, me,
throw me the damn ball all the time might actually
be an okay, they.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Kept saying they were okay, they kept saying they liked
their guys, and well, I guess what all have to
do is get the ball to James Cook.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Well, that could help a little bit.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Well, and if you can get to it to keep
throwing the ball to guys not name Waddle and Hill,
that seems to be working out pretty well for the Bills.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Yeah, I don't know regard as well.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
I don't know that the Mike McDaniel, Hey, let's throw
to the number four and five receivers. I'll never see
a coming strategy. It's really something that's gonna work. Well.
I mean, look one, if he was playing dodgeball, he
would have eliminated the receiver. I mean it was a
pinpoint precision. Unfortunately the receiver didn't turn his head to
look for the football, so off him and interception the

(02:00):
other again pretty on time, pretty ball intercepted because again
the receiver not really looking for the football. This has
been a game exact opposite of how I thought each
of these teams would look. Right, now twelve minutes to
go on the third quarter, Dolphins are getting the ball back.

(02:21):
Bill's got to midfield, They're drive stalled. They lead the
Dolphins twenty four to ten. Three first half touchdowns from
James Cook, who is right now working on a twenty
seven point night fantasy wise PPR two touchdowns rush, including
a big forty nine yarder touchdown. Receiving, Tua makes a
couple of bad interceptions, but looks like neither of them

(02:41):
are his fault. Thrown a number four and five receivers
Robbie chosen and maybe he will not be chosen to
have the ball thrown to him the rest of the game.
So it has been exact opposite of how I thought
this would go. Coming into this game.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
The Bills looked like Week one, boy, do you.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Really have answers coming off this this really tight win
against Arizona, and the Dolphins were, Hey, we're kind of
galvanized by the whole Tyreek Hill situation. We come together,
we're ready, it's a short week, we're playing at home.
We're more together than the Bills are. And it's the
exact opposite where the Dolphins look like they're still trying
to figure things out offensively, eh Chan is playing the

(03:18):
game in the ball like eight times out of their
first seventeen snaps, and he looked really good. It looked
like they would go up and down the field. But
then they have a couple of bad miscommunications and turnovers
and the Bills have just decided to impart their will
on the game and their offensive line is just blowing
the Dolphins defensive line off the line of scrimmage. The
second half was a complete They completely railroaded them the

(03:38):
entire second quarter, punctuated by that forty nine yard touchdown
run by James Cook. The Bills look like they have
it all figured out and the Dolphins look like they're
the ones going. We didn't understand when coming into this.
It was the exact opposite. But like Bourbon says DJ,
that's why they play the games.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
For everything about Buffalo, the big question for me was
the back seven with number of injuries. Milano's already done
until maybe December if he comes back at all. You
already shuffled out your secondary and then you watched one
of your starters go to the locker room early. So
the opportunity to take shots downfield is going to be there,
but the offensive line from Miami is not held up.

(04:16):
And you've seen the forty nine yard touchdown run you
referred to from Cook came immediately after the Dolphins went
for it on fourth down and the pocket collapses into it,
doesn't get rid of the ball, and at Oliver sacks him.
You got the shock as they kind of limp off
the field and then immediately you get a big run

(04:38):
from Cook and once he's out of that into second gear,
that's the end of it. So looking for the Dolphins
questions defensively, but thought that the offense would be able
to hold their own. And again, once you get into
these secondary tertiary receivers ie guys not named Hill and Waddle,
there's no communication, there's no continuity. These guys came into

(05:01):
camp late and it's clear that the communication with Tua
just isn't there.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Yeah, this is really especially coming off how hey we
won the game last second field goal against the Jaguars,
were able to figure things out and a short week
coming up, they had less questions and the Bills look
the Bills coming into this season, there was no bigger
which way team like they could be really good, maybe

(05:27):
better without Stefan Diggs or hey, you didn't realize you
needed weapons, and wow, it's really tough making it work
with Khalil Shakiirs your number one receiver. So they were
a big which way team, And even I don't think
we had any answers after the first game. It was Okay,
you beat the Cardinals, but still, wow, you almost lost
and the Cardinals are still the Cardinals.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
You're at home week one.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
That was still a game you escape from, so it's
still the questions are there. I have no questions after
this first half because they can still move the football.
Josh Allen getting more involved, more of a threat to run,
not that he's running the all a lot tonight, but
he is gonna be more of a threat to run.
And with no Stefan Diggs demanding attention, demanding the ball,

(06:08):
he's able to spread the ball around of it. Now
they're not throwing the ball as much because clearly, hey, we.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Have to get the ball. All running backs.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
James Cook is a phenomenal playmaker who really even in
the great year he had last year, kind of still
flew under the radar because it was Allan. But even
about Alan's in one right, Alan has four total touchdowns,
two on the ground. So if became aide, there's Superman
and everybody else.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
It's depressing.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
It's depressing because I'm like, oh, the Bills are still
gonna be good. Okay, well I thought thought they'd take
a step back. Agay, the Bills are still gonna be good,
and their offensive line has been fantastic again. Long term,
the injuries to the back seven will will rear their
heads and still might. I mean, we got plenty of
football to be played here, but right now, the as

(06:52):
I say that to makes an ill fated pass and
the Bills return it for a touchdown.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Whoof?

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Because I was just gonna say the offensive line is
a question and literally the breakdown and Tua does not
quite as bad as Will Levis.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
But pretty damn close. I can get it to the sideline.
I'm not going to.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
Absorb the sack and lose the yard. It's no let
me throw it and a dead sprint to the end zone.
Thirty ten. Now Buffalo with the lead. But if a
had trick for any.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Normally very efficient, this one is all him. Yeah, there's
two we can excuse. This is just stupid. He's he's
running terrible he's fading back, the Bills blitzed, they get
to him, he's getting sacked. He throws it off his
back foot and this is a guy with probably the
weakest arm in the NFL. When you get to a
throwing off your back foot, you're gonna win. Things are
gonna be good. And Ingram just run. I mean he

(07:45):
almost doesn't get there because to a barely throws it
far enough. Ingram runs up grabs it and you could
see the receiver wasn't even close to the play. No, no,
but that's the thing. This was communication there as well.
So even though Tua should have held out of the ball, hey,
the fact that the receiver wasn't there and Ingram was
able to come up and make that bell because he
can't throw the ball out far's that's why the receiver's

(08:06):
not there. He's only six yards down field, it is,
but it's a forty yard throw across the field that
two is trying to make and you see the way
it ducks at the last second and the defender coming
over to make the catch. He's like, oh wait, I
got this. And it wasn't as easy, right, I had
to go down and get it. So yeah, just a
terrible decision for Mike McDaniel. It's the worst of all

(08:27):
things because you got eight chan up and going right.
A lot of question earlier today I started getting the
fantasy questions, do I start him? Do I start this guy?
What do I do?

Speaker 4 (08:36):
And I was like, well, he says he's going so
as you said, eight touches in the first seventeen snaps,
so all right, full on sixty nine rushing yards thus far,
had the walk in on the receiving touchdown, all of that.
But just like that decision right there for Tua, like
it really tears away any of what you build him

(08:57):
up with about smarts and accuracy and his decision making,
because that was just awful in a game that you
needed that drive, right, you just made a stop, You
got the ball back, you're moving it a little bit,
and maybe you can calm things down in front of
the home crowd, and instead you just took them back
out of the game. Wouldn't be surprised if they're going
off into the Miami night now.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Yeah, I mean you're talking about thirty one to ten
because two is one of those confidence guys, Like two
is not one of those I can throw three picks
and still go down the field and I still have
no fear. Two is one of those three picks. I'm done,
I'm done.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Game's over. Let's figure it out for next time.

Speaker 4 (09:33):
But like that decision right there, I mean, it's bewildering,
you know, just you don't have the arm strength to
get it there. Take the sack, live to see another down.
The last thing you can afford is another turnover at
this point in the game, whether he would have been
tackled on the spot or not. Instead, it's returned to
the house Like what now, you just clap your hands
and say, hey, let's go to it like you're not

(09:55):
getting to container the separation for hill and waddle that
you expect, and why because your offensive line has been
trash over the course of the night.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
So good job by McDermott and company. And this is
why they've owned this series. What is it eleven of
the last twelve and Josh Allen in these spots has
been fantastic And right now you're running downhill. The only
thing you're pissed about is if you had any overs
on any buffalover sivers, they may go full JJ McCarthy
and Jim Harball last year against Penn State and just
run the ball the rest of the game. I mean, really,

(10:26):
I have absolutely zero questions about the Bills. The Bills.
The Bills are the Bills in a short week on
Thursday night to go in and put this bludgeoning on
the Dolphins like they're doing right now, and the other
you know, and the other thing we haven't gotten to
because look, and this is this is part of turnover
on defense when changes are made and it's not sexy,
but it's always needed. You can tell when it happens,

(10:48):
like the Bills have had some big change over defensively,
right from players that carried the mail for a long time. Yeah,
whenever you make changes and you get younger defensively, you
always get faster.

Speaker 5 (11:01):
Now.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
I don't know if you get more talented, but you
get faster. And clearly the Bill's defense looks a hell
of a lot faster tonight than they have the last
couple of years. Like, there's no separation from Miami's receivers.
There's not a lot of open Hey we're two feet
behind the ball. They just look fat. They look faster
getting to it, they look faster in the secondary, keeping

(11:22):
up with the receivers, like I mean it the bills.
I mean, if they were gone for like a split second,
it's like they're back. It's like all of a sudden,
It's like my dog thinks I'm gone forever. When I
go out to just take the garbage out and I
come back, he's barking. I'm like, I just went to
take the garbage out. I was gone for forty four seconds.
I counted when I went up, I put the garbage in,

(11:42):
I took the garbage out. I said hi to the neighbor.
I came back in. I closed the garage door. You're
barking like a lunatic, like someone's breaking into the house.
I was gone for forty four seconds. Like, that's when
I find it. For the bills were hey, they were
gone for a blip, and now the bills are back.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
Because you're trying to find the new sexy story right
for the people that want to push the Dolphins to
that next level. You got that a lot of love
in our collective media for McDaniel now that he looks
like a surfer bomb in whatever in year three, or
sometimes looks like he's straight out of Miami Vice. In
this case, he looks like a guy at the end
of Miami Vice, who's getting ready to, you know, to

(12:17):
get the needle.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
No, they never gave guys. They always shot him. I
think that was killed him in Miami Vice.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
Well, there was a lot of that, and there was
never They kept running, they kept trying to get on
their luxury cruiser.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
It was street justice. And Don Johnson never got any
blood on his pants.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
He didn't tell they were white. So I think there's
a really bloody shoot up. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I
don't know if you read the script. My pants have
to stay white. I don't know if you know that
or not. All right, are there any outtakes where the
blood spatter got on?

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Really? No? No, come on, man, wear these pants. Sorry company.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
See, you can say anything now in the next thirty seconds,
and you'll be saying very coaching points, like Sean McDermott,
what he's doing with the rotation un defensively And I'm hearing.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Thinking the highlight highlights they show in the video that stupid.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
America's first real introduction to highlight. Yeah, unless it was
that late night on the George Michael Sports.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
And they showed the highlight that had the flamingoes.

Speaker 4 (13:18):
Flamingos were key barn wound wow and a wow wow
wow wow.

Speaker 5 (13:25):
Full.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
I think TV themes on Thursday. Meanwhile, you've been singing strangers,
perfect strangers in this an't they?

Speaker 6 (13:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (13:35):
Because I just watch only murders in the well, you know,
ruhs and uh so thirty one ten. The Bills have
the lead right now, seven minutes to go in the
third quarter. Dolphins out of the football back, they are
across midfield. Uh Tyreek Kill has just caught a ball,
but now it looks like he's going to be out
of bounds. So the Dolphins still just inside midfield. Thirty

(13:58):
one ten, seven a half to go in the fourth.
In my best network executive voice, you know, the Dolphins
offense can really light things up. Don't go anywhere, keep
watching the game. You never know they could come back
and come here. So there is still a lot of
let's go to the prevent defense and maybe give him
a shot. Here it looks like he gets the second
foot down, but the first gets just enough. Isaiah likely

(14:21):
toe on the line and he is wearing white cleats
and he still it still didn't work. So you didn't
blend in, as Marv Albert would say, not exactly what
the Miami Dolphins had in mind. We do need another
eight and a half points, though there is still a
lot of time left here thirty one to ten midway
through the third quarter. We'll have more on this game
coming up next. But hey, the Bills, the Bills are
the Bills, right, The Bills are the Bills. Coming up next,

(14:44):
we have more from the NFL, more big stuff. We
get set for a big weekend. But how about a
college football story that broke late last night that has
everybody talking today. That's next right here, Jason and Mike

take care of you know, the homeless population, and you know,
they raise a lot of money. And he's a guy
known to scrub some pots and pans and now he's
a counselor in the middle of a video.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
Yeah, I mean, come on.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
It's amazing. Now.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
Big update from Thursday Night football. Just moments ago, the
Bills had to pick six to make it a thirty
one to ten game. Dolphins get the ball back. They
started driving down the field. Things were looking pretty good
and then to a tongue of Iloa kind of flushed
out of the pocket and he runs and he kind

(16:36):
of puts his head down when Damar Hamlin of all people, right,
Damar Hamlin comes up to make the tackle, and it
wasn't it wasn't a dirty tackle. It was to a
coming in and he kind of I get that he
was lowering his head to sort of try to absorb
the blow or get forward a little bit, and he
winds up his head kind of runs into the shoulder

(16:59):
of DeMar Hamlin and his neck kind of turns a
bit to the side.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
He goes down.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
Remember to his history of concussions is not something that
the Dolphins can afford to mess around with. Obviously, a
couple of times I left him out there when he
really should have come out of the game. Tua was down,
he walked off the field under his own power, without
his helmet, and he has walked very slowly to the
locker room. I have to think with three minutes to
go on the third quarter, that's the last we see

(17:26):
of twa tongue of Iiloa tonight. I assume he's gonna
go in get some imaging. He didn't go to the tent.
He went right into the locker room, So I think
that has to be it for him. And it's a
night in which they're down three touchdowns. He's not having
a good night. He's got three interceptions, but boy, that
was a really, really scary moment to see him. I'm
glad he's up walking. Looked like he had his faculties

(17:47):
about him, saying hi to teammates, okay, okay, but again
very slowly into the locker room. And I gotta think
that's it for him.

Speaker 4 (17:53):
So I'll be that guy go I'll be the one
to raise my hand and say, why the hell are
you not sliding? You got the first down, you got
the first down, you're inside the ten yard line, go down.
You didn't need to There was no need for contact
at all.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Yeah, it looked like he got caught. It looked like
he got caught trying it like an in between, like, oh,
maybe I can get it more yards maybe, or maybe
I can I can juke a little bit, maybe I
can make a cup.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
But he got caught doing that. He got caught in between.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
And so I'm just gonna go down and try to
turtle and I'm gonna lower my head and it winds
up just because DeMar Hamlin doesn't. Demr Hamlin goes in
straight up like DeMar Hamlet goes in to make the
right tackle on a court. He doesn't lead with it,
to be honest, he was waiting for him to juke
like It's almost like I have to keep my feet
moving because you could still go to either side. And
when you got kind of caught and lost your balance,

(18:44):
your head goes down. But his head runs right into Hamlin,
who makes the tackle. And it was just unfortunate. And
it's just unfortunate for tu who's out a history of concussions,
and you don't know what it's going to be, and
you assume that's what it was. It took his helmet
off right away, and now Skyler Thompson's in the game,
but it was, it's it was an unfortunate situation.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
And yeah, I want to hear you.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
You know, hey, you want to try to slide down
twenty one points trying to make a play. Frustration, trying
to make a play. It's been a frustrating night.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
I don't think he will.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
But but the thing is, I don't think he was
overwhelmed with I think it was just, hey, I might
be able to get a fan more yards before I
have to go down because it was not gonna be
one of those I'm sticking my head and trying against
not Josh Allen, right, this is not his game, but
I think he probably got caught trying to get an
extra couple of yards, got caught in between and it
just happened. Yeah, just an unfortunate contact piece. As you
said with Hamlin, it's not it's not a big hit.

(19:36):
It's not you know what.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
Most start looking for ulteriors, you know, motives or or
hey what that guy hit him hard and dirty like
in this case, fairly innocuous. Right when he went to
the ground, it didn't didn't look like much. But again,
when we talk about head and neck injuries, it doesn't
take much. Right, I ask all of you out there,

(19:58):
Maybe you've just gotten out of a deep slumber and
you haven't made contact with anybody or anything except the
pillow for the last ten hours. Yet you wake up
in your neck hurts. So we're talking about the human body,
which is amazing oftentimes and sometimes will betray it. For
Tua in this instance, you know, hopefully you know, it's
just a momentary. Let's go take the precautionary things.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
This game.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
We got a long season ahead, you've got a long
career ahead. We paid you uh to be that guy
for a long period of time. So let's go do that,
Skylar Thompson, go go take care of it.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
It's not Mike White though. You don't even get to
celebrate Mike White. Come on, do I haven't celebrated Mike
White in years. Come on, we got going back to
when Braxton Burials was on the Jets who were celebrating
Mike White bars. Now he's catching buns from the Dolphins
for the last couple of years.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
Here's how the highlights sounded on Amazon al Michaels with
the call here.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
It was just a few moments ago.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
It is the call FORW Michaels. So what you get
it is no, I did you know what you led
without Michaels and you got.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
God because I'm an idiot, that's why. Because I am
an absolute idiot.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
And that's on me. That is absolutely on me. I
get it. It's on me.

Speaker 4 (21:13):
So I'm trying to throw a forty yard pass across
the field off your back foot.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
It's that's completely on me. I okay, here is what
happened in the game. Oh, thank you. Okay, in the game,
I didn't know what you wanted. I know specificit not
sports guy, I know you're not. I understand that. I understand.
Didn't you just win the Tower of Terror or whatever words?

Speaker 2 (21:34):
You know?

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Said to me last night? Who's playing tomorrow? I said,
Bill's Dolphins. He goes, Oh, I said what cities are
they playing? He goes, I have no idea?

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Yeah, no, no, no.

Speaker 8 (21:43):
You asked where are they playing? I said in a stadium?

Speaker 3 (21:45):
You did say yes.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
That's a good answer.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
Is a right answer. That is a right answer. You
must have.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
You must have been a demon in high school when
the teacher would say, no, that's not the like like
the the answer, the answer where they're playing is they're
playing it?

Speaker 4 (21:57):
So they always put said dancer on your test, I said,
to avoid.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
You, I said I should get credit for that. No, Alex,
you don't know, but I had it right. Are they
playing in a stadium?

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Thank you?

Speaker 3 (22:09):
Why does my mom have to come again to meet
with you?

Speaker 2 (22:11):
Why?

Speaker 3 (22:12):
Why is this that? Jason?

Speaker 1 (22:13):
You know?

Speaker 3 (22:13):
Where all started?

Speaker 8 (22:14):
Where did it start? When I asked can I use
the restroom? They said can you? And I said, oh, fair,
we're playing this then, oh we're playing this.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
Game on all right. So again here's the highlight from
a few moments ago. This is to uh the play
resulting and getting injured again, walked off the field under
his own power into the locker room for whatever sort
of examination he's going to undergo. And I got a
feeling we've seen him for the last time tonight.

Speaker 6 (22:38):
You are the shotgun back to throw looking pressure, he's
gonna run with it at the five eight yard line,
it puts his head down and gets pounced down at
the six and he looks digged. Joe.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
Oh boy, he had to run.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
He wasn't sure, so instead of sliding once.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
He got there, he picked up a couple extra yards.
It's a great effort. But why this is uh, this
is not good. No, it's not.

Speaker 6 (23:01):
Stolo is up walking slowly off the field.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
However that was, it wasn't. Al Michael Dolphins Radio Network
apparently touched it. Okay, you don't wan al Michaels. I'm
not gonna give it to you. Uh so that Michael
for you? Now, well, well, this game is al Michaels,
it's it's it's a twenty one point game.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
Al Michaels wants to go home. I'm done.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
I thought it was gonna I'm done. Meanwhile, Skylett Thompson
came in for the Dolphins. It was their chance to
get back into the game. Yes, all eyes on Tua
and how he is going to be. But on fourth
and goal from the eight, Thompson is sacked by Von Miller.
The Bills take over. They have the football up thirty

(23:40):
one to ten, final minute of the third quarter. We'll
have more on this game coming up, and we'll get
to that big college football story coming up in about
ninety seconds. But first it's special delivery Steve Disager. Hey, Steve,
everything trending in the wide wildness sports, including an update
on just where things stand in the wild.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Card race in the National League after today, Steve.

Speaker 9 (24:00):
Atlanta Brays did not play. New York Mets did not play. Okay,
back to you, well, Padres did not play. That's fac
Diamon did not play. For that matter, Dodgers did not play.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Nobody played.

Speaker 9 (24:13):
So No, we did have game. We had game on
Fox TV today. Sure we had the tenanting Yankees Red Sox.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Well I remember that used to
be an importance game series.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
We used to love those series.

Speaker 9 (24:23):
Of course they're not four hours anymore. No, I don't
know if anybody's finding for that exactly. Four Mountain West
Conference schools are due to join the new PAC twelve
in two years, Washington State and Oregon State, each state
in that league. Joining them will be Boise State, San
Diego State, Fresno State, and Colorado State. The four schools
would have to pay an exit fee to the Mountain West.

(24:46):
The NCAA requires a full FBS conference to have at
least eight schools, So let's just guess that expansion is
not done on the PAC twelve that is not dead.
There is a college football game of note tonight. Former
PAC twelve school Era Zona State is tied at Texas
State twenty eight all early fourth quarter.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
And for the base ed not coaching Arizona State, just
so people know, not coaching the game.

Speaker 9 (25:12):
Not me and Antonio Pierce, not on the sidelines, no
no hermurger.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
A tweet out, Don't blame me, not my fault.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Don't blame me for a lot of stuff tonight, not
my fault.

Speaker 9 (25:23):
Late ball game in Seattle of note as, Texas has
a one nothing lead over the Mariners going to the
bottom of the fourth.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
Kumar Rocker is on the.

Speaker 9 (25:30):
Mound throwing shutout ball with five strikeouts early. This is
a guy back from Tommy John surgery pitching in the
major leagues for the Rangers tonight. Pitcher Jacob de Gram
will start Friday. For Texas, pitcher Max Scherzer will start Saturday.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
Everybody the Mets had at one point, that's right, that
no wonder the no.

Speaker 3 (25:51):
One of the Texas Texas ten games under five hundred.
You know who's pitching Sunday.

Speaker 6 (25:54):
R A.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
Dickey on Monday.

Speaker 10 (25:58):
That goes exp Dickey's arm. I don't think it's quite
worn out. Yeah, well, yeah, you know, you know, the knuckleball.
It's all you can pitch forever, the like Charlie huf Sure,
thank you, Steve hey.

Speaker 1 (26:09):

great story about the PAC twelve that is also as
you said, those five schools are the four schools that
are going to join Oregon State Washington State into reforming
the PAC twelve.

Speaker 6 (26:49):
Right.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
This story broke very late last night when we were
on the air, and it was like, whoa.

Speaker 10 (26:52):
Now.

Speaker 3 (26:53):
The first thing I want to.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
Say is this wait, wait, so the PAC twelve exists
with the money they're gonna give the schools to help
pay their exit fees.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
From the Mountain West.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
It's like eighteen million dollars of school yeah, plus penalty.

Speaker 3 (27:07):
Where the hell does a PAC twelve have all this money?
Did Larry Scott have it somewhere?

Speaker 1 (27:12):
It's like, oh yeah, yeah, here's the password to that
bank account. That's where all the money is. I mean,
how do they How does the PAC twelve have all
this money to you go get these twos?

Speaker 5 (27:19):
Well?

Speaker 4 (27:19):
I mean you still got paid out on all your
TV deals and you're part of the Bowl.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
How bad?

Speaker 1 (27:26):
Nothing like you had a good TV deal. No, No,
I don't mean for the pack job. I'm talking to
the National Okay, so you still have a.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
Piece of that.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
No, no, not the pack no, nobody saw that. Okay,
all right, so we always left like it may or
may not be a game plan.

Speaker 4 (27:40):
Yeah, Like you could argue that those games that Herm
Edwards coached in college really didn't count.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
Yeah, well, but he did contribute to the PAC twelve
after Dark in a large way. Well, like, so many
of those games were Herm Edwards coach games.

Speaker 3 (27:52):
Yeah. Yeah, that's pretty.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
Cool and all the stuff that had going on behind
the scenes. But we'll do a thirty for thirty on
Arizona eight another.

Speaker 1 (28:00):
I still remember when they had that video when someone
brought the new jersey into his office and he was
like because he was so out of touch that he
like says, oh, is that.

Speaker 3 (28:08):
A women's jersey? They were like, no, this is our
new jersey. This is what the players are gonna way.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
Because it was just you had never seen something so
smot it was so small because it's was that a
woman's jersey?

Speaker 4 (28:24):
He just loved that. But yeah, I mean, I guess
they finished. According to the Arizona Daily Star, and this
is obviously antiquated, but figure if you had invested it, well,
that's a newspaper.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
Yeah, it's the Arizona Republic what's the Arizona Daily Star
from Tucson.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
That's not the Tucson Tucson.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Tucson dot com.

Speaker 4 (28:42):
Okay, Arizona Daily Sto Okay Arizona That they finished twenty
twenty two the fiscal year with about forty three million
dollars in net assets.

Speaker 3 (28:52):
Wow. Really?

Speaker 1 (28:53):
So if you say you put it in an account
and you got your five percentage?

Speaker 3 (28:57):
Okay, all right.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
I don't know, but it gives them a lit little bit.
I mean it's weird expense.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
I don't know. How would they flush with cash all
of a sudden, Like.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
Those other schools have to have a buck in their
cofference somewhere. How that got back twelve as well? For
these four schools you're talking about over in the day,
maybe they're gonna be owned by Amazon. I don't know.
The shadow Man's got some money to don't holt here
he Look. The big part of it is this is like,
is this a fun story?

Speaker 3 (29:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (29:26):
But is this really the PAC twelve? No, that's the
New Life ten years. You're not gonna care, dude. No,
it's Oregon State and Washington State and a bunch of
schools that the PAC twelve would play the first week
of the season when they wanted to fatten up and
everybody be one to oh going into conference play. But
it's the next iteration of hey, we had a we
had a conference What I mean even here, we're gonna

(29:49):
take four year team.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
It's not you. It's like, look, this is what it's like.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
Right, let's just say hey, because the PAC twelve was
great for a long time and then it was gone. Right,
let's just this is the equivalent of if they said
we're gonna bring Seinfeld back. All right, so seiinewait, Seinfeld's
coming back. Yeah, Seinfeld's coming back. Whoa, this is awesome.
So it's gonna be Jerry and Kramer. He's got to
rehabilitate himself a bit. And then we got George and
Elaine and everything is oh, oh no, no, no, no,

(30:15):
it's not them. It's gonna be Newman and Putty and
like four new characters that all you've only seen him
if you've watched Euphoria, Like that's that's I mean, this
is what the PAC twelve. It's like, I don't want
to watch that. But that's not Seinfeld. That's just after
that's just.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
Some other show.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
I don't understand, how do you say that's still Seinfeld?

Speaker 3 (30:39):
It's not.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
No, but it's not the PAC twelve. This is just
a bunch of schools. That's they should call it a
bunch of schools. They should be the you know what,
get to eight schools and call it the state eight.
Because everybody's a state, right or in the state. Washington State,
Boise State, Colorado state. They're all states. They're all states,
so okay, so make it that it's the state eight.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
Let's call it. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (31:00):
The only state aid I find right off the jump
is a motorcycle operation. Okay, Like they're in Cayahaga Falls, Ohio,
So so legitimate, legitimate, Yeah, they're a motorcycle deal okay, dealer, yeah, yeah,
so you got that.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
It's kind of like.

Speaker 4 (31:15):
Sons of Anarchy a little bit. Well, but it's motorcycles specific.
I bet if we go into the trademark whatever, motorcycle specific,
my point is for trademark and copyright and everything purposes,
I'm gonna guess they don't have all classes, you know.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Like football included.

Speaker 4 (31:30):
Okay, all right, that's the probably have motorcycles and motorcycle
parts and recycle maintenance. But in terms of you know,
national powerhouse conferences in collegiate football. I don't think they've
trademarked anything related to those types of marks.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
I got that internship at Tellermorrow. Yeah, what happened.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
I had to actually kill people and dispose of bodies.
I thought it was just gonna be working on motorcycles.
Now now I'm trying to get in and I'm and
I'm getting patched over. I don't know what that means.
And I just had to put lime on and I
burned up somebodies to tell you, I didn't know that's
what's gonna happen to me.

Speaker 4 (32:03):
Well, I mean they probably have stuff for beverage, you know,
cups and you know your Stanley cups and all of
those things. We probably have to be creative and how
we license those out. But but either way, it's an opportunity.
And look, change is inevitable, right. We've been talking.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
About this in college football and college sports the last
few years, and it shuffled out a bunch of coaches
who didn't want to adapt and change the way they
did business. Uh, And we'll see more of that as
we go. But in terms of conference loyalty to teams
and teams the other way man, we did the Randy Newman.
It's money that matters, and here you have an opportunity

(32:40):
to go and poach and get to an agreement and
they didn't. Not the pack they're gonna say, hey, we're
back in it, like like you're gonna allow us to
be back in this for the playoff? Right?

Speaker 3 (32:48):
What are you kidding? Are you You're nuts? What are
you good?

Speaker 1 (32:51):
I don't know what's the charter s? You know what?

Speaker 3 (32:53):
You should just play the max schools and have your
own championship.

Speaker 1 (32:55):
Here's the thing you do well.

Speaker 4 (32:57):
I mean, I'd be curious to see the legal ees
because they may still have a say because they get
the two year moratorium right to get back to eight teams.
If they still legally can make that claim, then they
just raise their hand and say, you want us out
of it, so we don't have an automatic pay me
blank you pay.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
Me exit out bouta fresca exit Swollen down The Jason

Speaker 1 (33:57):
Fourth quarter to a tongue of Iloa up there on
him coming up in about ten minutes. We will not
see in the rest of the game tonight. Ten minutes
to go in the fourth quarter. Nothing's broken. Ten minutes
to go in the fourth quarter. The Bills lead the
Dolphins thirty one to ten. Tua has been officially ruled
out for the rest of the game with a concussion,

(34:18):
the Dolphins putting it out a few minutes ago. Again,
he lowered his head trying to run for extra yards
down near the goal line, and late in the third
quarter he runs into DeMar Hamlin concussion.

Speaker 3 (34:28):
He is out, bro. Nothing is bread, nothing.

Speaker 8 (34:31):
Is what's broken. They're undefeated streak.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
Okay, all right, fine than you had. The undefeated streak
at one is.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
In a stadium, by the way, uh thirty one to
ten again. Bill Lee will have more in this coming
up in a few minutes. But it wouldn't be a
big week one going into Week two of the NFL
if we didn't get great trash talking controlling already, right,
which we have plenty, which is kind of fan everywhere
stuff I didn't expect, Like I didn't expect this today,
you know, rubbing salt in a wound Niner star Nick

(35:02):
Bosa as the forty nine ers beat the Jets on
Monday night and they're getting set to play Sam Darnold
the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, and Nick Bosa wanted everybody
to know that, you know, the Vikings are actually a
good team. Maybe the Jets not so much.

Speaker 5 (35:19):
This week, I think we're playing a better honestly, a
better team.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
That's they're playing better football, it looks like, and.

Speaker 5 (35:29):
They run the ball well, and we're gonna have to
be better and our techniques we kind of got away
with some things last week. So so yeah, we have
to hone in and not not pat ourselves on the back.

Speaker 3 (35:41):
Wow, they're playing a better football team. One game.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
Looks like they're playing better football. Okay, well, the Jets
have played one game the Vikers have played one game.
You played the Jets. But I get it. The Jets
do a lot of talking, and they do a lot
of there's a lot of talk about them, So I
get teams want to completely shut them up. I understand
you won, you were dominant, scored eight times row. With
a football you get to say stuff like we're playing
a better team, but that's shit. Well, and look, maybe

(36:07):
they'll meet again. I don't think they will, No, but
right now it does not look likely. Maga gate Ball
says outlook not so certain.

Speaker 4 (36:15):
But from his perspective, is they they expected a fight, right,
That's really what it comes back to is all the talking,
all the you know, jabbering aside and all the good
sound bites you got from.

Speaker 1 (36:28):
Rogers or Sauce or whomever.

Speaker 4 (36:30):
Forty nine ers expected all right, these guys are going
to be in the trenches and it's going to be
a battle. And then the forty nine ers worked them,
you know, with Jordan Mason and not Christian McCaffrey, who
was just waving at them from the side.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
So you don't really need me. I'm good for the
couple of weeks. I'm good.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
So for Bosen Company, yeah, I'm not surprised to hear
at least one guy kind of pop off about it.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
And look, and this is where I will tell you
everybody wants to wants to mention and and think about
who's under the most pressure in week two. We get
to Week two, there is no team with more pressure
on them than the Jets, because I've told you in
the beginning of the season, this season will go sideways
fast if they don't start out of the gate well,
and with this advantageous schedule, they're not playing any world

(37:16):
beaters after they Look, they lost the Niners, okay, but
with Titans, Patriots on a short week, Broncos, these are
three games they should win. If they don't, I'm telling
you it will be bad for the Jets before they
get out of September, because go sideways. Robert Sala's job.
He might not make it out of September. It will
be really difficult to see this going any further. Like

(37:39):
it could get so bad so fast for the Jets
if they lose this game Sunday. Okay, you lose a
first one. Hey man, we're zering too. We're looking up
at everybody in the AFC.

Speaker 4 (37:49):
But the thing about the first game was the number
of people that just went well, you didn't expect to
win against San Francisco anyway, my ass.

Speaker 1 (37:55):
Everybody was picking them to go to the Super Bowl
and run.

Speaker 4 (37:58):
Rough shot all the stuff, and it was what a
three or three and a half point spread, depending on
where you were looking. The expectations for Rogers in that
offense were off the chart, and instead the offensive line
got pushed around. Defensively, they were toothless except for Sauce
because you know, he's unbeatable and you.

Speaker 1 (38:17):
Were just going up and down.

Speaker 4 (38:18):
I think you're getting a shirt made about his stats
over the last nine ten games or whatever.

Speaker 1 (38:22):
Six catches for fifty nine yards allowed in the last
nine games. Yeah, here's the Sauce gardener. Most teams have
a number two that they like, fifty nine. Yeah, but
we're focusing on the positive. Are six for fifty nine
he's allowed? How do you clone him in the last
nine games? We should Where the hell is the guy
from Jurassic wee? We can clone Sheep, we can clone Sauce.
Guardens put four sauces out there. Forget, no one's complete
in the past whatever, So looks I'm telling you, man,

(38:45):
it will get bad fast. Sola won't survive. He got Tennessee,
you got New England, won't survive. And then he got Denver. No,
you got three games, you should win. You go into
the after the first quarter, and she'd be like, all right,
let's go. Hackett will get elevated to head coach because
that's Roger guy, and then let's see where we're at.

Speaker 4 (39:02):
I'm gonna start drawing Rogers as trust master right now.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
I did just think of what the insane stuff I've
said in the last two minutes, and you realize, oh,
it's maybe not that insane. That's how it's gonna gona.

Speaker 3 (39:14):
It's this Earth.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
It's not an alternate Earth's happening right now.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
Six sixteen. You're right, You're right. Sorry, you're on six sixteen.
I'm telling you're on six sixteen right now.

Speaker 1 (39:21):
How do you regenerate?

Speaker 3 (39:23):
Regenerate? Oh no?

Speaker 6 (39:25):
Uh?
