(00:30):
it is Friday. It is Friday. How understated is what
is happening? It isn't that much closer to another Jets game.
It is Friday.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
It's almost another mischief. We got football on the screen.
The White Sox are record setters. That's Friday.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Today's Friday. It is Friday.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Losers, Ever, if you're going to be the greatest at something,
you gotta really go for it.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
It is one hundred and twenty one losses. Come on now,
it is Friday.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
But Jason's Mets can't even say that. Mike, Well, I
mean they're good at losing. They're not great at losing. No,
we've been really good at losing for a long time.
Like we're yeah, but you haven't been this great. We're
in the hall of very good.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Yeah, but that's shit. You're in the Hall of Fairy.
Whose record did you think Otani watching? Otani's great? This
is whose record did they break? They broke the Mets rs. Yeah,
but you were an expansion team. It's nineteen sixty two.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
No, No, there's a lot to unpack here. There's a
lot going on. It is Friday, and that's you're gonna
get me right now because the Mets brewers. Anyway, we're locked.
The tireck dot com studios, tirec dot com, I'll help
you get there. An unmatched election, fast free shipping, free
road has a protection and over ten thousand recommended installers.
Tyrack dot com is the way tire buying should be.
(01:47):
Uh yes, show hey, Otani a three run homer. The
Dodgers are thumping the Rockies right now, nine to two
in the sixth inning. They'll really be busting out some
champagne after this game. And Otani now a fifty four
fifty seven.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yeah, guy stolen base earlier for RBI on the day
up to one hundred and thirty.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
And you know, we talked joked about him being the first.
Now he's gonna be the first fifty five to fifty
five guy, potentially the last couple of days here. But
you know, I can't believe this, and you brought this
up a few minutes ago. No one has ever hit
fifty five home runs in the season in baseball. Yeah,
it's weird if at fifty four, but it's like he's
hit fifty four. Nobody's hit fifty fifty six. But now
(02:27):
we have a scoring game. He's still no double Nichols. Now,
no doublem. Brady Anderson is right there, right, Not even
Bravey think he was right there, not in that four
in that magical year. Yeah there were there's fifty four,
there's fifty six, right, Sosa had fifty six one year,
but no fifty five. Never had fifty five. Ton he
could be the first one. Of of course, he's gonna be
the first to do something double Nichols, But while he's
(02:49):
playing in Colorado, I think he wants to stop. With
one more old run, he could be spot now, he
could be sixty six at sixty to sixty and with
this pitch, I got a few more, We're gonna be
absolutely fine. So yes, while major League Baseball, the race
for the postseason in the American League well, we'll get
to that in a second. In the National League, things
are looking good for the Braves because the Braves won tonight.
(03:12):
They won three nothing Max Freed and maybe his last
start in Atlanta is great through eight and two thirds
beats the Royals and the Diamondbacks and the Padres. Right
now was the Padres up four to one in the
bottom of the first inning over Arizona. This is key
because the Mets are losing to the Brewers six to
two in the top of the sixth innings.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
Are wearing some really awful uniforms and they should be penalized.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
For the umpire should be penalized. Everybody's I hate baseball.
But let's focus on the positive before because you can't
do the positive. Uh, the big result of the night
in sports is this, and you can't get to a
bigger difference of Lady and the tiger where it comes
to how the final the final Lady and the tiger?
Speaker 3 (03:59):
Right?
Speaker 1 (03:59):
You know the thing you choose two doors behind one
door is a beautiful lady behind the Oh you want
to choose a beautiful lady and not the tiger, right, Ladies, I.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Thought you're going lady in the tramp because you were
already thinking about eating pasta.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
No, I thought I was thinking about this is a night.
I will give you twenty five dollars for every paper
clip you have in your purse right now. Let's make
a deal. I know the lady of the tiger. It
is in a second of the day where he isn't
thinking about pasta. That's a fair point. No, no, no,
that's not Come on, gee, hamburger cheese or ice cream,
cheese or pasta? Uh yeah yeah, oh, I don't have
(04:33):
pasta without cheese on What are you kidding? Why would
I do that? It makes no sense. It's like having
a hamburger with no cheese. Why would I do that?
It makes no sense. It's called the hamburger. Why would
I have a sandwich with no cheese on it? That
makes no sense. That's just stupid. To look at your
face is just like what else do you want to say?
It's just stupid.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
It's stupid, but maybe the finest most coherent logical argument
you've ever made.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
It's just stupid. Game of the night in Major League
Baseball and you saw the absolute ends of ecstasy and
pain in this flyball.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
Right center feels.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
It's actually outside stand up that was actually that was
actually the White Sox call. I think they were very
excited for the Tigers to make the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
Thought it was kind of funny that there's no mention
of the fact that the outfielders run into each other.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Yeah, well is that is that new? That's nothing new?
Speaker 2 (05:43):
There's a fly ball like going back, like, wow, it
just crashed into each get grinned at each other.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Has that Beneeddie on the call there? Yeah, that's three
times a week with the with the White Sox coming
out that one hurt. That was like a double smacked
on Mike to me, to you, why I call that
game for the White Ah. Yeah, but it's your former guy.
That's fine calling that and calling that. So he might
have daggers.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
He might, And there's a lot of other people who
have gone out of their way to throw flowers at
his feet the last year.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
If I am not one of those guys. So is
he better than what replaced him?
Speaker 2 (06:17):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (06:18):
You see video of it and Benetti's standing up, middle
fingers in the air extended while he's making that. Yeah,
like Bud Adams when he did that at the Yeah,
but it's only going to Mic nobody else. Yeah, no,
just to you directly to the dagger to my heart.
But look, let's deal with the Let's deal with the
positives first. Let's deal with the front side of this. First.
(06:38):
The Tigers are in the playoffs. There is no better
story in baseball all season long than the Detroit Tigers,
not even close. There's great things. We have seen what
Shoeo Tani has done with Aaron Judge has done. That,
there's great. There is no better story. Then here's the Tigers,
who have been just at the bottom of the barrel
for a decade. They basically give up at the trade deadline.
(07:00):
They don't.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
They only half gave up though, right, yeah, you got it,
Award winner, right, the best move the guy you didn't
get rid of when logic dictated that, yes, you should
have sold him for all the spare parts you could
possibly get.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
I mean they they are the best team in baseball
since the trade deadline, which shows you how overrated the
trade deadline can be. Because all the Tigers did was basically,
we traded away a couple of players and we kept
the ones we thought we could trade but we could. Right,
they keep school Ball and he's going to be the
side on award winner. You've seen the pitching jump up,
and Kevin Kelly's been unbeatable out of that bullpen over
(07:36):
the past three four weeks. But this is this is
a team that no one expected anything of them, and
here they are at the deadline where nothing changed, where
absolutely nothing changed, and here they are the best team
in baseball since that point for a heritage team that
has stunk for a long long time. And every year
you're penciling the Tigers in for a hundred losses, a
(07:58):
hundred loss there's no better story than seeing this happen
to the Tigers making the playoffs and not just squeaking
in like much. A couple of weeks ago, it was hey,
watch out for the Tigers. They couldn't get back in
this thing. No now boom, they've clinched. They're just hanging
out the last couple of days of the regular Here's.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
The data point that really just kind of stands and obvious.
It becomes the arbitrary. Let's just pick a date out
of the sky. August eleventh is the date from the
ESPN article kind of talking about this momentous occasion today
thirty one and eleven in their last forty two games
lowest dra and baseball largest run differential, and there were
(08:35):
eight games under five hundred at that point. Now, August
eleventh arbitrary, like normally go all right, last day, you know,
Memorial Day or July fourth, they're the trade deadline. But
the data point just say, you're already halfway through the
month of August and they're able to make this charge
and this run and everything started to click. I'd be
(08:56):
curious to see if you go back on that date
whenever we have fun with the tankathon strength of schedule
for the remainder of the season. What the rest of
their schedule look like doesn't matter, because you still have
to play the games. And here we are today, the
momentous occasion White Sox after sweeping the Angels to send
them down more season.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Ever, we'll get to them. Let's stick the win itself.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
And then you go on the road and in Game
one against the Tigers in this final series, you go
and you take another l right crochet talking about sticking
around and whatever else. He's only able to give you
four innings before he departs, and once again the bullpen
and oh Tigers win.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Well, this just shows you that that when you think
about how bad your team is every year and the
season's over, and this is where we're at. Every year
there's at least one team that at the end of
September we do a fill in the blank with and
that is what a story Team X is. Here they
were fifty games under five hundred on blank day and
(10:00):
look at the record now since then they have gone
insert best record in baseball and look at them all
the way back in and here they are making it
to the playoffs or they get to the very end
of the season and it comes down to the final weekend.
There's a team. Every year there's a team like that.
So everybody, no matter what kind of season you should have,
you could say, why not us? Because it's not like
(10:20):
the Tigers went out and did great stuff at the deadline.
They didn't that they didn't. I mean it was it,
really it was. They traded a couple of guys away
and they kept guys like school because well, we're not
gonna we're not excited what we could get for him. No,
and look at what they've been doing. I mean, they're
a team that nobody wants to play in the playoffs
because they're just absolutely a team with nothing to lose.
Their pitching is really good. You don't want to face
(10:41):
Schooble once or twice in a series because you're looking
at two losses there, because you're talking about that's how
much he would most likely pitch in a series. Now,
shorter series, shorter series obviously, but you don't want to
face game one, you know, with him that way. So
they're a team nobody wants to play. And it's just
it goes to show you that there's always a team
every year. And to think that your team is done,
(11:02):
we're out of it, we're here, unless you're the White Sox. Uh,
there's always a way back and and and we always
look back and say the same things for these teams.
Here's their record on x DAX, here's their record since
day X. Here's their record. Now, what an incredible turnaround?
What is the key to this? And it's look at
that and the Tigers are that team. There is no
better story than seeing this team, the Tigers, who, like
(11:26):
I said, you leave them for dead at the beginning
of every year, and here they're on in the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
They have one guy hitting better than sixty five. Kerry
Carpenter eighty eight in two hundred and fifty seven at bats,
playing in eighty five games. Riley Green, he's an All Star.
Two sixty five, twenty four, seventy four. Uh, that's his numbers.
I mean, that's that's where we're at. But you've got
a bunch of guys that you know, clutch hits, right,
(11:50):
that's and then three outcome baseball, we've seen batting averages
dip all across the league. We're talking about batting champions
maybe hitting as low as you know, three ten. So
it's a different one guys hitting over three hundred the
entire year. And for all the lamentation over everybody's stealing,
it's so easy two guys over fifty. So all of
(12:10):
that to say for the Tigers, I mean, it's a
fantastic story and for schoobl Look, I love south Pause,
you know, always uh excitable, and when teams just decide,
all right, we're not getting something commensurate with his talent.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
So we'll just ride it out.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
It's got it curious goes back to the White Sox
before the season when they traded Dylan Ceases. Why why
unless he just threatened not to report and he's gonna
go fishing somewhere, not man.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
I really, it's an unbelievable best story in baseball Detroit Tigers,
and it's not even close. Exit. How about a Fresca
exit swollen Dome. The Jason Smith Show with my best
friend Mike Carmon. It is a big football Friday. We
got the big upset specials to pick, we got big
games to preview, and yes we will get to absolute
baseball history that was made by you, Chicago white.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
My Chicago white size. I do appreciate the fact that,
I mean national show. We just did a segment about
the Detroit Tigers.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
Detroit. You said Detroit, I did is Detroit? Could we
hear Bennett? God, let's hear it. Let's hear it.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
Fly ball right center beds.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
You know what's great about that? He talks about it
like he's been there for all. Oh yeah, a long
suffering sand base. It's the worst.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Dude, you just got here. Your bag hasn't even been unpacked.
But you know, sell, sell, sell, and he did good
for him. Managing staff for your supply chain is complex.

That's expresspros dot com. Well, coming up next, Yes, more football.
(14:09):
We got a big night in college football as well,
potentially being upsets to talk about, and Mike Harmon's gonna
wear the fact that his White Sox are the worst
team in the history of the greatest worst team ever,
the best worst team.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
There's a lot of bad teams, and I'll tell you
yours is the worst. We are the worst. I'll wear
a crown for it back. You are the biggest loser.
Let's go. It's coming up next right here. Happy Friday,
Jason and Mike Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 5 (14:35):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern seven
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Fox Sports Radio. On an unbelievably wonderful Friday night, Oh
look at you? How do things change so quickly? You
had sand down? What are you talking about? Hold on
to your hats? Everybody all onto your hats? Did you
have rutgers? You can hear the shout? You can hear
(15:07):
the roar. If you open your ears, open your windows,
and just listen, you can hear it rattling in the dell.
Go New York, Go New York, Go, go New York,
Go New York.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
Go.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
The shouts get louder as it gets closer, the torches
light up the sky, and then can hear it? Go
New York, Go New York. Don't walk it, don't You
don't really get arrested for those things. Well, if you're going,
you should be. If you're going to Frankenstein, you're fine,
but don't interrupt my Go New York, Go New York. Oh,
go New York, Go New York Go. According to Shams Trania,
(15:40):
all of a sudden, Sham's bomb, thanks WOJ, good luck
at Saint Bonaventure. Sham's bomb, Sham's bomb. No, he got
credit for something earlier today that he Shouldham's bomb. What
because he deciphered initials and a press release, According to
Sham Adams, again, what happened? Oh whoa, whoa, whoa. We
don't know that was true, didn't She says she was
(16:01):
dating Daniel Jones. No, that's what I said again. Wow,
go New York, Go New York Go. According to Shams Jams.
This is about five minutes old. The New York Knicks
are nearing a trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Knicks
would trade away Jalen Bronson's no. Stop, don't say wow.
(16:25):
People are gonna think that's real. It's not really. I'm here. No,
that's not gonna start singing across the universe. No, no, no, no,
pay you no attention to the producer. Behind the glass.
You can see the wizard. The Knicks and t Wolves
are nearing a deal that would send Jalen Bronson. No, stop,
that's not true. Stop don't stop telling lies. Stoply stop lying.
(16:48):
I mean this is all theoretical anyway, so he can no,
but this is not true. Shams has the report. But
you guys just telling you're not hearing anything, Okay, you're
just hearing in your head the kicker, Dick of the kicker,
Dick of the kicker. He's a best player, Dick of
the kicker. He's a best play. That's what you're hanging
in your head. In my head, the New York Knicks
(17:11):
and Minnesota Timberwolves are nearing a trade that would send
Julius Randall and Dante DiVincenzo Pour went out for Dante
to the Timberwolves in exchange for Carl Anthony Towns. This
five minutes ago from chams Nick's nearing a trade to
(17:34):
send a package around Julius Randall and Dante DiVincenzo to
Minnesota for Carl Anthony Towns.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
Now the fact already lost Hartenstein. Now you lose, did Evincenzo.
I mean you're losing all the heart of this squad. No, no,
it's tough losing a villanova guy. I mean that might
break the change.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
Well, now we now we find out, like you know,
the Agatha all along, you need five witches or whatever
it is. I mean he lost one of the villanova
Let's go to NBA and signer Adam ty shirt here. Yeah,
swots retired, Jason, I have the insight. It's actually a
straight up for Jalen Bronson, Brunson, Charles Bronton, I dar
(18:11):
you to KNOCKDJ clearly with a death wish, wanting to
ronson at a coming he can jump in his roundhouse
kick is off the charts, and oh just kill me
a next trading Bronson pin show away. Now clearly he
and the Knicks will be perfect strangers for the rest
of the time he plays in the lab.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Remember when cousin Larry was was on Law and Order
and he went down in a bad scheme with Joe
Piscopo because they got involved with the Bobsladi.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
Oh uh wow. Let me just say first first, now
you know of the Villanova guys, who the one guy
who's on the outside of the club, obviously Steven Ccenzo. Hey, listen,
one of the Villanova guys got to go. All right,
Devincenzo voted out. But this is they are losing Julius
Randall and his salary and the fact that Randall is
(19:02):
look didn't really fit with what this team was. And
now you bring in a big one of the best
bigs in the league. I told you the end of
last year they get mcal Bridges. They're going to the finals.
This is it. Now they're really going. Everybody's gonna jump.
I've been driving this bus for a while. I will
stop and let people on, and people are gonna jump on.
Like I'm driving the bus and there's the big zombie
(19:23):
that are really fast running after you come on, get
on the bus. I could take you to safety. All right,
let's go and everybody's jumping on and I'm driving that bus.
That's how people are gonna get on this Knicks Finals bandwagon.
This is it. They are bringing one of the best
big men in the game, and to go with the
offseason acquisition of Bridges and the nucleus they had. This
is amazing. This shows you the Knicks. Hey, we think
(19:46):
we're really good. We're not stopping until we realize we
need to be able to say we can play any
kind of game. And I don't know that they would
have made this if you didn't find out that Mitchell
Robinson was gonna be out the first couple of months
at LEAs east of this year. Right Knicks big man
who got hurt the end of last year, really talented
right rebounds, blocks, he's a guy, he's one of the
(20:08):
best rim protectors in the league. But you lost Hartenstein
and you were counting on Mitchell Robinson. And now I
don't know why, because he's hurt all the time. He
just can't stay healthy. So I wouldn't be surprised if
that news reignited these talks. Now I'm playing an NBA insider,
but there's been nothing about this the last until just
this bomb from Shams comes in. So this Mitchell Robinson
(20:29):
news is kind of under the radar a couple of
days ago. I mean I saw it and I'm like, great,
now we're gonna have have you income back to play
center at sixty years old. But I guarantee you with
that happening, the Knicks new and I give the Nicks
a lot of credit because it's Hey, this is a
championship window we have opened here, even though we didn't
make it out of the second round, championship window, we
need to make sure we have it. And not only
(20:49):
do you go get Karl Anthony town do you get
another player that can take big shots, that can play
in big moments and do big things. I'm gonna miss
I would miss Devincenzo and the threes he was able
to hit, and and how great he was in the
playoffs last year. But in the end adding bridges, how
much more room was there for him offensively. And when
you can upgrade to Karl Anthony Towns, forget it, man,
(21:09):
this is telling you Nicks are going to the finals.
Look at you, You're already on board. Then New York.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
As we get ready for training camps to open, that's
been kind of the ground swell. A lot of people
have to go recut their videos just change the names
because they were coming on board your Nick's excitement as
it were for Karl Anthony Towns. How much of this
was I don't want to play with Rudy Gobert anymore.
I'm done with this situation in Minnesota. Could be right,
(21:35):
I mean, just a level of dissatisfaction on that side
of things.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
You know, as well as good as things have been
for Minnesota the last couple of years, now with all
the young player obviously, look with they're now more Anthony
Edwards driven than they are. This is the Carl Anthony
Towns's name has been been floated around in trades for
the better pair of the last year years. Like as
good as he is, it's wow, there's still so you
knew that at some point point that what they were
(22:01):
planning on as a franchise he didn't really mesh, and
they were looking for it because you don't. You don't
put a guy like that in the trade block for
that long unless you really want to try to find
a way to move him because the team is morphed
and it's been. It's different every invention of the team.
There's some players who were on the inside now find
the way on the outside. Now, Julius Renolds coming in,
a guy that con hit a three once in a while. Look,
(22:22):
he's he was always been a really good player on
a bad team. Now you know, can he be a
really really good player on a really really good team.
That's the big question.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Yeah, we look at the t Wolves and obviously the
Western Conference being a gauntlet as it were, we talked
about it. You know, the playoffs this last year, how
deep it went and coming down the stretch last year
you had the t Wolves win fifty six and twenty six,
losing the conference finals. And now you move on from
(22:50):
one of your big identifying players these last couple of years,
and you know, just going back and thinking about sequences
off the court, and you know, flowing in his minutes
that you trade him out of conference for the Knicks,
you take your shot right, because you look at the Celtics,
they come back a lot of questions surrounding them porzingis
(23:12):
how quickly he'll be ready, and also coming out of
all of the Olympic stuff and off court fun and excitement,
how much drama carries in and look defending champions. Oftentimes
we see it in all sports where that next year
is a little difficult after the banquet circuit and everything else.
How hungry are you? How much changes with the dynamics
(23:33):
within a squad, And then you go through the rest
of the Eastern Conference. There's good teams?
Speaker 1 (23:37):
Are there?
Speaker 2 (23:38):
Great teams in the Sixers? They're gonna be the Sixers
same bit. I mean, the only thing you're mad about
is that you didn't get Joel Embiid just to vanquish
them once and for all. But I mean the Bucks
will be good, But are they great?
Speaker 6 (23:51):
No?
Speaker 2 (23:51):
I mean like Western Conference high depth all the way
through the conference here on the East. Yeah, you take
your show that you could at least run through and
get past that pesky second round, now, can't you.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
According to Jake Fisher, NBA insider, Nicks had been talking
around the league in search of center improvement. Obviously, with
an injury of Mitchell Robinson. They made it known Julius
Randall was available. They had interest in additions like Clint Cappella. However,
Karl Anthony Towns, Hey, uh, that's an upgrade no one's
gonna say no to. And that really it's it's I
(24:27):
don't know how you say a team other than the
Knicks right now or the overwhelming favorites for the NBA
Finals in either conference, Well, they're losing. Jalen Brunson, stop that.
Don't don't mix. No, no, no is no allegedly doing
that's even wrong to say allegedly. I could sue you
for just for saying Alego. I mean, look, then, look,
he can put it out there. Maybe he didn't say
(24:48):
he can't put words in shams mouth. He could just
say it him. I got a text thing with the
guy in the place. He doesn't have to reveal his sources.
Don't you know sources?
Speaker 2 (24:56):
You could just say whatever the hell you want and
have big time jobs, don't you know? Texting Frostburg about
the Knicks? Nobody, Come on, you're GM.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
No, you know this all right? Look at the odds
and West it's texting you about this.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Yes, let's see we begin this season October twenty fourth
futures odds. I'm curious how quickly these get reflected the update,
but the Celtics were the favorites at about three to one,
Thunder coming in at seven to one. The Nick's right
behind him seven and a half, eight to one, as
as high as nine to one on one service as
(25:31):
low as five to one. So variants always a reminder's shop.
Beyond them sixers, the great Bearded Nicola Yo gets ready
to get back to work. And then you have the Mavericks, well,
the t Wolves and then the Bucks. As we said,
lots of Western Conference teams where folks are placing their bets.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
Well, yeah, the path of least resistance still goes through
the Eastern Conference, correct, right? And I mean, really, this
is a Nicks franchise now that outside of the injuries,
if they didn't have the injuries last year, I mean,
and they did, so, I can't tell you they had
the injuries last year, they would have gotten the Eastern
Conference Finals. They would have probably lost to the Celtics. Right,
the Celtics probably would have vanquished them. The Celtics had
(26:14):
home court.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
They get the word vanquished in yes, they just remember
you're still running another season under the Tom tibodeaut watch.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
Yeah, so let's see what that grind is in another year.
And I don't think it matters. I think I think
Tibbs is like this has become his team and the
guys that he has decided these are the guys I'm
going to win with. How could you say no? I
mean they have been in two decades, Like it's Tibbs's team,
Like this is like it's.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
I'm not saying they don't love him. I'm not saying
that he hasn't found a collection of players that buy
in that each each of the eighty two actually matters,
which is a very rare commodity in this NBA of
twenty twenty four, twenty five. That said, that's a lot
of grind. So you better have enough depth. You better
(26:59):
be able to deal a few games during the course
of the stretch where guys have some light minutes, otherwise
we'll be back in the same situation with you pulling
out follicles out of your eyebrows or whatever as we
get to the playoffs and because the same thing's gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (27:14):
Okay, Well, and here's the other part of it though,
to say that, yes, it has Tibbs's coaching style the
last fifteen years. Have you seen it great on teams? Yeah,
he's been really good for a couple of years and
then he has to move on. But he's found the situation,
just like how players find. Hey, I'm in the right situation,
the right system with a team he's found in New York,
(27:35):
and he's gotten the right guys to buy in. Right,
He's got his leaders and Jalen brunts and heart. These
are your emotional leaders in brunts and obviously leading by example.
Now you bring in a couple of new guys that
have not been open and have have had anything to
do with TIBs over the course of the last few years.
There's a new situation. So now if it's Karl Anthony
(27:55):
Towns and now Bridges coming in, it's okay. This is
my first couple of years under Tom Tibber.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
What you're saying is, yeh, go terribly wrong because they
don't buy you one percent.
Speaker 5 (28:04):
See what he did.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
He already predicted the dude, we're going to the finals.
Speaker 6 (28:08):
Man.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
You brought two guys in like, hey, yeah, I'm okay
with all. I like this, I like this defensive responsibility.
I like the way that we're beholding to each other. Dude,
they'll be booing him out in New York by February.
That is not dude. We're going to the finals. Man,
The Knicks are going to the finals before they open
up on Broadway. Cats with a case damn Judy Dench exit,
(28:29):
how about a Fresco exit? Swollen down the Jason Smith
Show with Mike Carmen live from the tirec dot Com Studios.
We got more coming up in ninety seconds, but first
with more details on this trade that has not been
agreed upon yet. It's Steve Steve, Happy Friday, Steve O.
Speaker 7 (28:44):
Good evening to you both. But actually, Mets catcher Francisco
Alvarez has just left due to injury at Milwaukee. Hurt
on the base past they said bad back. According to
the Brewers announcers in Milwaukee at seven two Brewers over
the Mets in the bottom of the seventh inning in
this final weekend the regular season, Alvarez needed to walk
through the dugout to the clubhouse. Could not even do that,
(29:05):
needed assistance through the dugout. As for the updated stweet,
I guess we can still call it on X from
the Athletic. In the NBA news tonight, the Knicks have
acquired Karl Anthony Towns from Minnesota for Julius Randall.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
Now it's official.
Speaker 7 (29:20):
Dante Devenrenzoe, It's become official now and the first round
pack via Detroit. According to the Athletic, it's not official
till the team says it.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
Actually, so Shams doesn't have Oh no, no, Shams got it.
Shams just got it. He just got it. I think
I just said that two minutes ago. Yo, how did
you not come on? We're talking about this. We was
going to want to tell you it was for Jalen Brunson.
We were going to the finals before this. We were going,
we were really going when it was almost near happening.
Now that it's happened, now we're absolutely going. Now that
(29:52):
no doubt. Now we're going. Actually nothing's changed. No, it
was pretty much done then, it was close to being done.
They were near a trade.
Speaker 5 (30:01):
Look at that.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
Look at that. But he gritty enough. We'll actually be
able to get gritty as AT's Philadelphia. Actually, yeah enough,
we can borrow you can borrow him. Just keep usch
the mister met for a little bit. He's kind of
funny with that big bald head. Yeah, we kind of
like him. You know what.
Speaker 7 (30:18):
One of the signs in Detroit tonight and the Tigers
has they clinched a playoff? Berth, You can't spell Tigers
without grit. They're onto the postseason for the first time
in ten years. Detroit wins its six straight game, beating
the White Sox four to one. The White Sox passed
the expansion nineteen sixty two Mets for most losses in
a single season since nineteen hundred. Detroit's record over the
(30:40):
last month and a half thirty one and eleven, and
the Twins are getting shut out at home. It's now
Oriel seven nothing at Minnesota in the bottom of the
eighth inning. Kansas City got shut out at Atlanta Braves
three nothing over the Royals. Going into tonight for the
last ANL wildcard, Atlanta was one game out behind Arizona
and the med to mention, the Mets are losing in
(31:01):
the seventh seven to two at Milwaukee. The Padres are
leading at Arizona. Padres got four runs top of the first.
It's now four to two San Diego at Arizona in
the top of the fourth inning, and the Dodgers are
now up eleven.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
Three at Colorado. In the top of the eighth inning.
Speaker 7 (31:16):
Sho hey Otani with his fifty fourth homer and his
fifty seventh stolen base of the season, Raiders. Wide receiver
DeVante Adams is out this weekend with a bad hamstring,
and defensive end Max Crosby is likely out with an
ankle injury. There's college football on Fox TV. Final minute
of the third quarter, Rutgers trying to go to four
to zho leeds Washington fourteen to ten, twelve minutes left
(31:39):
at seventh ranked Miami. Virginia Tech now up thirty four
to twenty four over the Hurricanes.
Speaker 1 (31:45):
Back to you, Thank you, Steve O. The Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon live from the tyreck dot Com Studio.
So there it is. It is official. The Knicks get
Karl Anthony Towns from the Minnesota Timberwolves, Julius Randall, Jonte Devincenzo,
the final wait and possibly no, you know it's not
(32:05):
and oh Tawi, how about that? Oh they're gonna go
Lea for the w W E though, you get to
get what's Sony gonna do in Minnesota? Man allowing he'll
get the Twins in the playoffs instead of losing every
game like they've done the last Sorry, but that's what happened.
Maybe maybe you should allow teams to do that. You
should allow teams from the same city to make trades
(32:27):
with other cities through teams, like the Knicks could have
gotten Karl Anthony Towns and they could have traded away
Peter Alonzo. You know, Okay, that's what we're gonna do.
We're gonna trade your Pee Alonzo for Carl Anthony. You
can trade with it, guy, guys struck out twenty five
times in his last two weeks. I mean, I'm ready.
I'm ready for the end of the ped Alonzo er.
If it happens, I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready. See
how he cuts guys loose, just like that, just like that,
(32:50):
just like that, ruthless, I love you till I don't
love you anymore. I love you, and then then I
just want to say it, ty shirt, it's been a
good run. Guys. That says I may not make it through.
Oh stop, you're my best friend. You're my best friend,
but I would still trade you for Karl Anthony Towns
one d P. Yeah. Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
The immediate reaction on x slash Twitter is they will
hate him.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Towns hasn't had to hang around Tims in a couple
of years. It's gonna be fine. It's gonna be fine.
Everything's fine. We'll have more on this breaking story coming
up next, as well as a big night as we

trades like we're gonna continue on with right now, it
is there for you again wherever you get your podcasts,
right after the show is over. You're gonna get it,
and you're gonna get it. So the big news, the
big a Sham's bomb that is now official. The Athletic
(34:36):
reporting the New York Knicks have obtained Karl Anthony Towns
from the Minnesota Timberwolves for in exchange for Frostburg Quiet,
in exchange for stop.
Speaker 4 (34:48):
No.
Speaker 1 (34:49):
No, people aren't gonna believe you. Now you're gonna believe
because I don't want the because you're putting it out
in the universe. Happen. He's figuring just it's like the match.
Alvarez leads Mike until the Knicks say it. It could happen.
Because if Brunson is driving around listening, here's what I've
been traded. He's already turned off the radio, gotten on
(35:10):
to his agent, saying, if they traded me, if that
get me out of New York, I don't want to
be here anymore. That's how it happened. So don't don't
you But it could happen. No, it can't, it's not happening.
The trade is done. It's Karl Anthony town to the Knicks,
Julius Randall and Dante DiVincenzo to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Now
it's it's still my mind is blown that this is
(35:32):
the trade that is made and if anything makes me
a little nervous about it, right for the nixt side,
right cause we'll get to the timberworld side of it
in a second. Is that doesn't it feel a little
light for Karl Anthony Towns. It's this package feels like
it's a little light because you have Julius Randall coming
off of major surgery, right and you have Dante DiVincenzo,
who is a who is a really good player, but
(35:53):
he's a rotational guy. And this is a this is
a four time All Star, is one of the best,
who's to do it all big, you know, points, rebounds, locks, everything,
He's able to fit in on an island with whatever
you want to do. And I get that certain teams
they morph as the season goes on and and and
we mentioned now Karl Anthony Towns's name has been in
the rumor mill the last couple of years with the Timberwolves,
(36:14):
and obviously the team is now more Anthony Edwards and
defensively driven. Okay, and I get that today you were
you're a great player, but you kind of don't fit
because we have a bigger superstar that's behind you that
we're gonna build around. But it just feels a little
light that that's all the Knicks had to give up.
The Knicks had wanted to move Julius Randall for a while,
and it's just Randall and Devincenzo, no picks, no anything else. No, Hey,
(36:36):
we're gonna hold out for that third player if you
really want him. It feels that, Okay, why is it
so light for Karl Anthony Towns? Why is this package
just Julius Randall and Devin Chenzi.
Speaker 2 (36:46):
Because he was due over two hundred and twenty million
dollars in the next what four years? Five years, and
they decided they were done with that. Well it's not
like Julius Randall isn't making no no, no, but but
it becomes a all right, not locked into him and
whether Randall comes back and he's fully the player, because
once upon a time you celebrated him nightly, well it's
(37:07):
a long time.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
He was a good player, because that's Julie Randall. He
was always a really good player on a bad team.
And as the Knicks got better, he would be in
and out of the lineup. He would take too many shots,
lots of things. Hey, I'm just happy I saved gas.
You know why because I did not have to drive
Julius Randol to the airport. Like I volunteered. You did volunteer.
Not only did drive him to the airport, volunteer.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
To get out of your house and out of the area,
which we can't get you to do for anything. You
volunteered that you were gonna go and get Julius Randall
and transport him wherever.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
They did that for you. No, I saved gas, and
gas is expensive, right, I say. They say the Knicks
were looking out for me. Man, they were looking out
for me. I did not have to drive it, because
I would have if they said, hey, listen, we go Okay,
I'll drive him to the airport for you. Are right,
because I.
Speaker 2 (37:50):
Mean that's the curiosity and the talking point that starts
swirling going forward. Is Cat maybe a better player and
certainly Randall coming off an injury. Sure, Vincenzo great glue
glo glue guy. Right, Absolutely no question about it in
terms of their rotation and what he meant to.
Speaker 1 (38:07):
That, And you're selling him at a high point coming
off of the playoff last year, he's not gonna have
that kind of role this year with the team.
Speaker 2 (38:13):
Yeah, it'll be curious to see, you know, how he
gets utilized in Minnesota. And and like we say, I mean,
you never know what's gonna get spun off a here.
I don't necessarily, you know, think there's more than a
one percent chance that Jalen Brunsie gets traded.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
But you put it hot, stop it could happen. Stop.
The answer is not zero.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
We always talk about it, right, But people go, oh,
this guy signed a contract, this guy says he loves
this whatever. It's like the winds blow. Stuff changes, guys, Guys, Hey, luka,
donc you just signed this deal?
Speaker 1 (38:44):
Uh huh. Hey doesn't mean he may not decide he
hates a minute. I played for it. I know Tips. Yeah, No,
it's a different Tips, New York, different Tips. Don't worry it.
Years later everybody changes. Sorry about a cat.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
But the big thing is is about his contract and
what it does going forward, because you're looking at forty nine,
fifty three, fifty seven, sixty one, and there are some restrictions.
As much as we say, we can move money around,
and it's funny money in a lot of senses.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
Guaranteed deals. It it takes on a different life, especially
if you go to spin them off. Now that that
makes me think a little bit, but not for too long,
because I just go backy ye, go New York, New
York Coat. We're going to the finals. I'll think for
a minute, go New York, New York Coat. We're going
to fins How it is set and one for the title. Now, Buddy,
more on this breaking story, and we'll give you our
(39:33):
first picks of the weekend of college football the NFL
coming up next right here, Jason and Mike Fox Fox
Sports Radio, The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon, Live
from the tirerack dot Com Studios. Miami Virginia Tech coming
down to the final plane number seven. Miami trying to
hold on against Virginia Tech thirty eight, thirty four. Virginia
(39:55):
Tech's gonna have a hail Mary from the thirty five
yard line. Meanwhile, Washington trying to come back against Rutgers.
They're State College of New Jerseys here in the end zone,
still down twenty one to sixteen, extra point pending late
in the fourth quarter. Rutgis and Washington. Miami, Virginia Tech
(40:16):
and now Pete few Tech College Footballnews dot com owner, editor,
proprietor grand puba. All the analysis, all the breakdown, all
the previews. You need your one stop shopping for everything
college football. Pete, what's happening man? Happy Friday?
Speaker 6 (40:31):
Okay, it's a Washington, Virginia Tech and me three losers tonight?
Is that what you're going with? Gosh, I'm assuming Virginia
Tech's not making this as I'm watching as we speak,
But you know, I could.
Speaker 1 (40:47):
Mess with you and say I'm a few seconds ahead.
Virginia Tech scored a touchdown.
Speaker 6 (40:50):
Wow, probably case.
Speaker 1 (40:51):
It's that kind of guy too.
Speaker 6 (40:54):
Yeah, so camp Moore's those Heisman and all that kind
of stuff, But hey, we might be living in a
world where Rutgers in Indiana are actually like, at least
for a couple of weeks, pretty good at college football,
and you know, yeah, might actually be good, Pete.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
My other one, My other one is going to be
how about Army Army Navy undefeated at the end of
the season, like it's nineteen forty three.
Speaker 6 (41:18):
Oh, that'd be awesome. How cool is that? But the
thing about it is is that the funky thing is
they play after the bowl. They're announced, so like they
announced the Bowl games first because they play like the
bull thing is like December seventh, and I think they
play like on the fourteen or something like that. So
so that would just throw everything for a crazy move,
(41:40):
much like my fantasy league with your Mets playing doubleheader
on Monday, screwing up the entire thing after the season's
already ended.
Speaker 1 (41:49):
Well, that's that's kind of how it goes. If anybody's
going to be at the crux of anything crazy and stupid,
it's the Mets. There we go. Yeah, now you mentioned
Heisman Trophy. Mike and I made our picks. We'll kick
things off of a big one obvious. The game of
the year so far, Georgia Alabama. I'm taking Alabama getting
to at home, and Jalen Milroe announces himself as I
am going to win the Heisman Trophy. He has too
(42:11):
much escapability. That's what's going to give Georgia all kinds
of fits. Alabama wins a great, close one and he
becomes the new leader in the clubhouse. What do you got.
Speaker 6 (42:20):
I've been preaching that for about eight months, except for
the fact that as long as he's good, this might
be the first of three times these kids meet. I mean,
like they're both really good. So as long as he's
not awful, I think Georgia wins tomorrow. So I kind
of like that. But as long as Moroe is good
(42:41):
enough to keep Alabama in the Hut, then it's sets up,
and if they win the SEC Championships, then there's the
highs you coming away. But I've preached this before. I
last year, I know we had to do Jaydon Daniels
and everything, but Milroe had the play of the year
with the throwing and souburn the game of the year
with the performance and the win over Georgia, and he
(43:01):
played Daniels. The stats were great. He got his team
to the College Football Playoff. I think in an MVP
sort of way, Yeah, he should have. It's got more
he consideration last year, So I'm not arguing with you.
Speaker 1 (43:12):
On that one, all right, Pete. Now we'll get to
more in a second. But if you're watching the end
of Miami in Virginia Tech on replay review, Virginia Tech's
hail Mary is caught, it is a touchdown and they
upset Miami. Uh there's he catches the ball and then
it's stolen. I would tell you he catches the ball,
(43:34):
like when you saw this play happen live, which happened
while we were talking. Uh, Miami comes out of it
at the end with the football. The lights go off
and on. Everybody's celebrating, but watching the replay. Uh, the
Virginia Tech player catches the ball and then after after
the ball is down, there's a wrestling for the ball
a little bit and it gets pushed out of his arms,
(43:55):
but the referees rule that he had possession for the touchdown.
Virginia Tech wins the game over Miami.
Speaker 6 (44:03):
Wow, yeah, said Chador. Now this that's okay yet much.
You know, it's nice that you called me just as
this was about to happen, and as I'm mad, I'm Michael,
But I mean what acc is a huge win for
Virginia Tech the Miami casio. I mean, look, Tammy doesn't
play anybody this year. They don't have fun set on
(44:24):
the schedule. Florida State's not good, so maybe Louisville's their
one game. So this was kind of one of those
things where they can't really afford a mismark. Honestly, you know,
we know how this goes now with the new college
football playoff to get to the ATC Championship. Win it,
and you're the three or fourth seed. Even if you
did move then in historically painful fashion like this, Pete, Just.
Speaker 2 (44:44):
As you mentioned, I'm Louisville on the road at Notre
Dame in forty six. The total six and a half,
the spread, the Irish the home favorite, but Louisville to
this point no turnovers, taking care of the football, operational
efficiency leading the way.
Speaker 1 (44:59):
Can they get them tomorrow?
Speaker 6 (45:01):
There's certain kind of a shrugged agent. Whoever that guy
is gonna be or women's gonna be, they don't be money.
I've been preaching this guy for seventy seven years of
his career. He's got number one overall pick talent. He
just doesn't stay healthy. So in terms of just the
skills and this this Tyler shugged, he's it. I mean,
(45:22):
he was supposed to be Justin Herbert at Oregon and
then all of a sudden the injuries kind of kicked in.
The talent is undeniable. We'll see, like, let's see what
this Notre Dame thing is, because it's it really is
crazy how it breaks out. What when Notre Dame runs
the ball, they win. The stats are out of this outrageous.
(45:43):
Over the last ten years, it's like when they get
to thirty five carries, they do not lose, and they
got like twenty eight against Northern Illinois. And so just
about can you keep calling away? Don't worry about making
Riley Leonard the new Joe Montana. Let him run for
one hundred yards. Just keep the Brown game going. And
I think the Irish can surviving Evan and get out
(46:03):
of this all.
Speaker 1 (46:05):
Right now, Pete, we we can't go any further because
right now I have people just there's all kinds of
people on my phone. The state of Michigan wants their
minute with you. After the Michigan USC game last week,
where we tried to convince you that Michigan was going
to be a big problem and they were going to
run the football really well, and you just you didn't
listen to me. And so my wife's family is all
on the phone for you right now.
Speaker 6 (46:27):
Well that's because it was you weekend. I ignored the
the you know, the energy, you know, the big Jay
energy that was happening, and you know, with everything was
going right for you, that yeah, that was absolutely supposed
to happen. It's amazing what happens. Speaking of running the ball,
college football isn't hard. The NFL. You've got to mix
(46:47):
it up. You can't be one to mention all that.
Everyone's too good, the coaches are too good. If you
do something right in college football, just keep doing it.
Who cares if you're throwing the ball. If you could
just keep running and Michigan figure it out. Run run, run, run, run.
Running over a four hour game, those defensive minding getting
gassed and eventually that damn breaks, and it happened. It's
(47:10):
exactly what they just said. You know, screw it, We're
just gonna keep on running, and all of a sudden, bam.
Speaker 1 (47:17):
It breaks.
Speaker 6 (47:17):
What it has to because those guys are gassed on
the other side. But then the wind driving you to
have the fourth quarter, So as long as they can
keep running and play great defense. Michigan's ra.
Speaker 2 (47:28):
Fox Sports Radio Jason Smith Show with Me, Mike Carmon
here inthetirack dot com studios on the hotline with us
each and every week. He joins us he's the Grand
Pooba College Footballnews dot Com. His mantra quote, it's not
my fault your school isn't better at college football. It's
Pete Feu Tech at Pete Futech as we roll through
here on a Friday night.
Speaker 1 (47:49):
Now, now wait a minute, yeah, sorry, sorry, hang on, Pete. Sorry,
we need a new comment from you, because after further
review on replay, the Virginia Tech hail Mary was ruled
income complete and and Miami wins the game.
Speaker 6 (48:05):
Then because they missed it. So you you're my eyes
and ears, So what is your official ruling? What's the
corporate standing? No?
Speaker 1 (48:15):
When they showed the far end zone replay, it sure
looked like and if the ball is dead when when
the player is on the ground and he's got it,
it looks like it's a completion right all the other
angles you can say, well, does anybody really have it?
Once the ball is on the ground and the ball
is still moving around a bit, but it looks like
from the far angle, you can see that it looks
(48:36):
like Felton he's got his hands around it. He's on
the ground and that should be the signal for touchdown.
But you still see the ball move not too shortly
after and and the ball gets knocked around and Miami
comes around with it.
Speaker 6 (48:49):
Johnson's dead Bryant thing like he actually did catch it,
but by some weird letter of the loss didn't or
is it really gets No, you'll see it.
Speaker 1 (48:58):
He comes down and hits the ground and there's a
lot of jostling and the ball starts moving almost immediately.
But you would have to think that and look, I
don't know, but I would look at the replay and go, Okay,
as soon as he comes down with it and he's
on the ground and he's got his arms around it,
that plays over. That's it.
Speaker 6 (49:14):
But then it's going to happen. It's your da tech
gets Brent try head coaches fall for going for the
fake field goal. I know exactly how it works. He missed,
they went for a fake field goal. They lost because
of this. That's you know, that's just how this whole
thing lies. But amazing get look, you know, this dumb
sport is kind of fun. For all the problems and
(49:36):
all the That's Lucas stuff and the expansion and everything,
and the you know, nil and Charlie Baker wanting to
keep every player from getting any sort of revenue, you know,
sometimes the thing's kind of fun.
Speaker 2 (49:50):
Yeah, Pete crazy week as we get ready, you know,
We've got the nice opening salvo on these Friday night games.
But uh, the UNLV story took up a lot of
oxygen this week. Promises made and promises unfulfilled, and now
players skipping town. Uh? Is this the first of a
group of folks that will end up doing this? Or
(50:11):
you think this is isolated?
Speaker 1 (50:13):
Now?
Speaker 6 (50:14):
Are we counting all the head coaches who fail on
their teams during bowl games and who've been doing that
for a year ever?
Speaker 2 (50:20):
Well, I mean that's you know, precedent, long set. We
just accept that exactly for.
Speaker 6 (50:25):
EXI, they go from making generational money to more generational money,
while this kid wants to get his because you're never
going to play in the NFL. Look, Benny, you're crazy
not to. This is the thing that we all have
to remember. All this all fun, but it's a business.
It's a multi billion dollar business. That's why you have
Mountain West exasies. That's why you have all the students
(50:47):
bass its coming about. Oh you're dabbling about your dance
friends of my dates. Here with the conferences and the
massive TV deals and all the coach stuff and all
the buyouts, it's a business. And all these players they're
trying to do is kind of get some piece of this,
and like you know, they just want money, amigo money,
and you know, all of a sudden, Harry Fluegelman saying no,
(51:10):
and we don't want anything. So they're everyone's trying to
do everything possible. It keeps the players from getting money
in this and it's just looks ugly from every possible side.
Speaker 1 (51:20):
All right, Bete. Lastly, look it's Mississippi State tomorrow, so
it should be okay no matter who plays quarterback, but
Texas going forward yours Manning Applewhite Sims, I mean, who
is it.
Speaker 6 (51:35):
Exactly? Rick mc iver, well, you're in a perfect situation.
First of all, remember that arch mania has hit because
they beat University of Texas San Antonio and Louisiana Monroe.
You know, it's not like they're you know, they beat
Alabama Georgia here, and so you have a perfect situation
(51:57):
where you're gonna beat Mississippi State by four and then
you get a week off, and then you get Oklahoma,
so you get quhen you were another couple of weeks
to rest that that Domino strain injury, so why not?
But speaking of generational money, that's why Steve Sark Keithon
gets paid this because that's where you're supposed to figure out. Wait, man,
(52:17):
who's my best quarterback for this team? That's why you
get paid to do this, is to decide between you know,
your you know, one pretty one to dance with another one.
Because these are both first round, top fifteen caliber quarterbacks.
Boo hoo. I'm sure they'll be fine no matter what
against Oklahoma.
Speaker 1 (52:35):

Speaker 1 (53:04):

to you, man, No, no, we would not. My my
