Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ladies, and you want experience during your football season, We'll
buckle up.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Sweet cheeks.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
That's all we did.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
We've got all the experience in the world.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
This is I want your flex.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
With Dan Byer and Mike Harmon. Mike and Dan break
down everything you need to set your lineups, from position rankings.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
To starts and sits.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
The guys help you make those hard decisions. And now
let's get your flex ond Here's Dan Bayer and Mike Harmon.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
I don't know if the snow will last in Cleveland,
but the images from what we saw Thursday night, well,
he is Mike Carmen hit him up at Swollen Doll
and you can find me at Dan Byer on Fox.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Get Ian Roddy at Ian Roddy Underscore.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
We'll get our Blue Sky handles in a little bit
later on and get an update on if Ian has
joined Blue Sky. But Mike, they weren't Blue Skys in
Cleveland on Thursday night. They ended up being filled with snow,
and the field ended up being filled with snow.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Brown's gonna against the Steelers.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
I don't know what fantasy takeaways we can take from it,
but it sures heck was a fun game to watch.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
Good job, Nick Chubb, you found the end zone a
couple of times. We saw a very acrobatic catch from
David and Joku. Well that's good because he only had
one for nine the rest of the night, so he
at least got you another two points.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
So are you're three for nine.

Speaker 5 (01:22):
George Pickens was too interested in fighting with Greg Newsom
at the end to even be trying to run a
football route, so that was curious.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Had a wide open touchdown and he had no idea
where the ball was. Yeah, in that fourth quarter, I
have him in guillotine league, and so I just took
a chance.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
I'm like, oh, let's just play him.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
Well, I mean, look the way the weather went though, right,
it's opening skies and all right, it's threatening whatever. I
had all the friends and family losing their minds over
snow in Chicago.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
It's like, you love a Chicago It is mid November,
what do you want?

Speaker 5 (01:58):
Likewise, here it got crazy and then the win started
swirling and it got even uglier. Calvin Austin little used
guy seventeen catches coming into the game. He has the
big touchdown reception seventy eight on his three catches all
three targets, so good for him. Otherwise, and look, Russell
Wilson is what he is. I'm not I'm not gonna

(02:20):
sit here and do a stump speech for Justin Fields.
He moved him in the running joke though, Dan Andian
from Bears fans was, hey, there's that roughing the passer
penalty he never got when he was a quarterback for
the Bears. So and then when it came money time,
he's not on the field. But Wilson gets his two
seventy in a score. Fine, you probably were looking at

(02:44):
him given the six teams on buy. Maybe he found
his way to the back end of the QB one.
Maybe he found his way onto your roster for this week.
So he got a little bit of a saver there.
But otherwise and uneven performed minch once again, that horrible fumble.
But yeah, otherwise, I mean, what big takeaways can you have?

(03:06):
Whether it was bad, Judy continues to get targeted a bunch,
so there's at least some upside there. Six for eighty
six here perfect on all six and while Jamis is there,
We've talked about it for a long time. Dan, the
man has no conscience, yes, right, So he's going to
keep putting the ball up for good or for bad,
and for the most part has been pretty good. If

(03:27):
he started against the Giants and the Raiders, maybe we're
talking about a different Cleveland team, just a wee bit
because you know he was going to all the pre
and you know, mid game speeches anyway, so what.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
The hell's the difference.

Speaker 5 (03:40):
But here we are, So there's at least a little
bit of light for those guys going forward.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
I ended up playing the wrong guys that I had
pickings in a league was really hit with buys and
injuries and other stuff. So I had to have Elijah
Moore in the game. There's just nobody left in the league,
and so that was that was an ouch, and I
benched Nick Chubb. But hey in a differently so yeah,
not the greatest, just like the weather, but hey, we

(04:08):
move on. We look ahead into a week twelve slate.
Then again, maybe not the most appealing slate in the world,
especially with the buys. And if you have any Falcons,
if you have any Bills, if you have any Bengals, Saints, Jets,
or Jaguars, you're gonna want to get him on your
lineup because that is who is on by four Week twelve.
So let's look ahead to the rest of the slate,

(04:30):
Mike A thirteen games slate, one down, twelve to go.
Let's get to your rankings, your top five quarterbacks for
Week twelve of the National Football League.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
Ready for a little bit of a shocker to get
things to well, I actually know the team that he's
facing is terrible against the past, So maybe not as
big as surprise, but justin Herbert, because we keep talking
about the defense, keep talking about the run game, all
of that stuff. Herbert quietly the sixth best quarterback over
the last four weeks of football, averaging nearly twenty two
points per game. He's got an opportunity here because that's

(04:59):
about what the Ravens surrender each week.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Big Monday Night, A fair Harbaugh Harbaugh.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
By the way, it's the parents anniversary, so they have
to choose their favorite child.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
There you go, Number two, Jalen Hurts, he's the top quarterback.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
It's gonna be there.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
You go shoot secret options.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
See Jony Crean. I should say, yeah, there you go.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
Mid middle of the back rams pass defense here, but
you're looking at it Hurts weekend week out especially, He's
taking care of the stuff around the goal line, much
to the sugar in of Saquon Barkley owners. But we
get Hurts in there. Kyler Murray against your Seattle Seahawks. Dan,
you're looking at a couple of big time performances ahead

(05:43):
of his bye week twenty two, then that four point eight,
twenty eight point seven, then a bye week. But going
up against Seattle, they're tied for thirteenth best. So what
we'll call it, We'll call it best in the middle
of the past. It's a nice media part of the curve,
or of not a lot separating Jaydon Daniels against Dallas.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
It's Dallas.

Speaker 5 (06:06):
No, you're looking at a couple of big performances from
him twenty two to nineteen over the last four then
an eight point six and a fourteen point four, but
overall the body of work curious to see, you know,
what kind of tweaks they have here. Michael Parson's doing
the banquet circuit. It seems, you know, trying to either
fuel the fires of get me out of here or

(06:28):
at least become a voice that is in Jerry Jones
and finally Bo Nicks Top five worthy.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
This week going up against the Raiders. You know, over
the last four weeks, he's QB.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
Four with a twenty nine point eight and the bookend
twenty eight point eight last week twenty three average, and
you're looking at a Vegas team that is a bottom
ten in terms of points allowed to quarterbacks.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
In that late window that we've got just three games
on this short week. Broncos Raiders doesn't jump off the page.
Is one of the marquee games because the other ones
have pretty big playoff implications for what's happening in the NFC.
But bo Nicks has become a story to watch, and
obviously the Broncos are a story to watch because they're
sitting there right now in that final wildcard spot in

(07:14):
the AFC. So yeah, bo Nicks is grabbing all of
the headlines. Fourteen touchdowns, six interceptions so far on the season.
All right, those are the top five quarterbacks for Week twelve, Mike,
Let's get to the top five running backs for the week.

Speaker 5 (07:29):
Eh Chen leading us out of our abyss here third
best over the last four We're going with the rolling
theory of recency as to how a team is playing
right now, and you're looking at a guy that over
his last four averaging about twenty one points per game
and really getting it done. And when you're looking at

(07:51):
New England still a bottom ten against the run over
the course of the year. So we'll get them, sakuon Barkley,
what needs to be said. The big game is always
in the offing. Set it and forget it. Yeah it's
it's over the last four weeks. You've got a couple
of games over thirty, so just feed him the football
and let him make waves. McCaffrey, I have at number

(08:13):
three and it's got the star on it because you
know it requires a little more thought and maybe discussion
here fellas with rock Purdy not necessarily being one hundred
percent sure we're getting him as we sit down and
record this after the Thursday night football game, ahead of
all Friday walk or workouts and walk throughs and everything else.

(08:34):
But I'm looking at him in this particular case that
he'll probably be a bigger part of the passing game.
If perty's unavailable, sure right, dump it off, try to
get in his hands. See if he can't make a
little bit of hay that way, So we'll find a
little bit love. James Connor going back against Seattle another
guy which over the course of the last few weeks,

(08:55):
we've seen that offense come together a bit, a little uneven,
little rocky road for him, two big games and two muted.
We'll see what he's got this week against your Seahawks.
And then for the number five spot. Two guys and
I got them five and five a because they have
terrible matchups. When you got Henry going up against the Chargers. Again,

(09:19):
we don't know at this point the Chargers, based on
strength of schedule, how good that defense really is. Right,
because we watched Cincinnati for a quarter. Finally, a more
balanced offense have some success. Yeah, right, same thing with
Baltimore that we would expect. There'll be some juice to
it because the other guys, Joe Mixon going up against
Tennessee and we've talked about the Tennessee defense quite a bit.

(09:41):
So I'll give Henry the slight edge, but want to
you know, is certainly their cautionary tales a little bit
this week because the rubber will meet the road. We'll
see how good these offenses really are.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Yeah, that Ravens Chargers game on Monday night. I mean,
the hardball billing is taking all of the headlines. But Mike,
your point about Derek can Lamar coming off of the
tough loss last week, the non the inability is the
right word to use, inability to convert that two point conversion.

(10:12):
You wonder if he's gonna try to right his wrongs.
So very very intriguing for Monday night. But maybe most
importantly of all, we don't know if Rock Perty's gonna
play as he said, and if he doesn't, we're not
even sure who actually is going to be the batch, right.
We think it could be Brandon Allen, but you also
have Josh Dobbs there. So something to definitely watch in
a key, key game for the forty nine ers against

(10:34):
the Packers. For those that missed it, Perty was spotted
on the playing field of the practice field on Thursday
through a couple of passes to start the practice, didn't
get into any drills and then ended up going inside
shortly after, and that was not a great sign. He
got a limited tag because he threw those limited passes,
but that was about it.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
Or maybe he just said, hey, I've done enough. My
body of work speaks for itself.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Man on it.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
I felt like having those days from time to time.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
Of course, Yeah, all right, there your top well six,
if you will, running backs for week twelve, Mike, Let's
get to your top five wide receivers for the upcoming week.

Speaker 5 (11:10):
Number one, I'm mon ra Saint Brown as we look
at him. The look the Lions offense just so operationally
efficient right now. Going to against Scolt's one of the
more intriguing games because what are the Colts right now?
It's a deep philosophical walk along the beach and ponder
the meaning of life kind of moment. But you're looking
at an offense that's Roland and his target count puts

(11:31):
him at the lead. Indianapolis fourteenth, most points surrendered to
wide receivers. Puka Nakua with the opportunities against Philly eighteen
or more fantasy points three of his last four games.
Justin Jefferson against Chicago. Yeah, Chicago problems in the secondary
a little bit here, even if they found maybe a
little bit of balance on the offensive side. We're looking

(11:54):
at Jefferson nineteen twenty one, fourteen. Those are three of
his last four games. DK Metcalf against Arizona. You have
fourteen points in his return, Dan and we talked through, uh,
what was the guy from Boston that we were talking
about the other day talking through trades.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Huh what was was?

Speaker 5 (12:14):
Uh wasn't the trade request of DK metcalf and where.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
He was from it was Kansas City. It was billing
Kansas City.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
I put him in the wrong city, which is why
Ian looked at me like, what the hell are you talking?

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Likest? Sorry, that's all right.

Speaker 5 (12:31):
I wanted to take him to Boston, all right. Then
finally we got aj Brown going up against the Rams. Uh,
he's been muted the last couple of weeks. Maybe a
breakout opportunity here against that Rams secondary.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
Yeah, and DeVante Smith is not practiced the last two
days for Philadelphia, So if he doesn't go, then you'd
have to think that Brown could receive a lion's share
of those targets at wide receiver on Sunday night. So
those are your top five wide receivers, some familiar names
and so much more. There are other familiar names that
Mike's gonna to coming up next, but they may not

(13:02):
be the guys that you want to play this week.
Those would be the cold sores. We got the hot
plays in the Ninjas. Plus Ian is sitting there waiting
for uh. The moment to give us streaming defenses. That
comes up later in the pod. Do you have a
Blue Sky account yet?

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Ian?

Speaker 2 (13:16):
I do not? I do not?

Speaker 4 (13:18):
All right, it is not there. He's all talk now.
Ian Roddy from England is going to steal it.

Speaker 6 (13:27):
The British guys had every opportunity to.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Every opportunity.

Speaker 4 (13:33):
You can find Mike Harmon at Mike Harmon dot bsky
dot social. You can find me dan Byer dot bsky
dot social as well. We will we will, we will
harp on you Ian until it is actually done. But
I'm going to actually try to look and see if
there is an Ian Roddy on Blue Sky. If you
want to find out if there is stick around that's

(13:55):
next here and I want your flex. We've got some
bad news for Ian Roddy. Welcome back. He is Mike Harmon,
hit him up Mikeharmon dot bsky dot social. On Blue
Sky you can find me Danbyer dan Byer same deal.
Ian is not on Blue Sky, but if he was,

(14:18):
he wouldn't be at Ian Roddy dot bsky dot Social.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
That's because it has been taken.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
No news.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
You lose Ian Roddy.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
There's someone with someone with one follower and the only
person that's following them is uh, the Blue Sky account
Ian Roddy.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
You are out of luck.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
Ian Roddy has been taken at Ianoddy dot bsky dot
social is taken by some guy who just got married
and his bride is I believe, on his back, so
it looks like it's a wedding picture.

Speaker 6 (14:54):
Follow him.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
I do not follow us.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
I don't know if it's domestic or international looks of it.
I think it could be international. I think it could
be England as well, but I don't think it's the
same Ian Roddy that is on X.

Speaker 6 (15:07):
How many Ian Roddy's are there because it's not the
same guy.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
Oh, I don't think so either.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
There I've never met another Ian Roddy.

Speaker 6 (15:15):
The only other person not in my immediate family i've
heard of. What the last name Roddy is is David
Roddy on the I don't know what the NBA player where?

Speaker 2 (15:25):
What about Rod Roddy.

Speaker 6 (15:27):
Yeah, Well, and then there's also Roddy White, but that's
not a last name, it's his first name. There's a
few first name Roddy's anyway, Well, Ian Roddy, you beat
me to it. Man, that's really tough luck on my part.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
Mike.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
Get ready for the rest of the season. Find Ian
at Ian Roddy underscore dot Vsky dot so sold oh Man,
what a disappointment.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
Gave him every opportunity.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
Yes, you know what, I.

Speaker 5 (15:56):
There's something to it. It's it's kind of funny, good man.
All I can do is laugh.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
That's great hot place, Mike. Let's get to him for
week twelve. We've wasted enough of people's time for Ian
notice sign up for this account.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
Now we got to figure out who the hell this
guy is writing? Who are you give up your damn though?
Is your name really Ian Roddy? Oh man, it's coming
from inside the building?

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Uh, all right? Who's the hot plays for week twelve?

Speaker 2 (16:29):
G oh gee?

Speaker 3 (16:31):
No.

Speaker 5 (16:32):
Twenty five and seventeen in the last two weeks. I
know Arizona right in a nice meaty part of the
curve against quarterbacks giving up about seventeen points per game.
I'm looking for a big spot here because I'm looking
at that total. It's forty seven and a half. I'm
pushing North. I think Patrick Mahomes against Carolina. You say, well,
why don't we have to talk about Patrick Mahomes because

(16:52):
people still are afraid and reticent to get him into
their fantasy line.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
His last four weeks nineteen twenty four seventeen eighteen. It's
not five.

Speaker 5 (17:00):
He's not putting up monster points, but it's a nice baseline,
and in a week where where a lot of uncertainty
in these buys and injuries looking up against the Carolina squad.
Not necessarily, you know, as you talk about get right
and everything clicks whatever, Go take care of your business,
don't play with your food.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Get it done.

Speaker 5 (17:18):
Carolina seventh most fantasy points allowed nearly nineteen and a
half per game. David Montgomery against Indianapolis. Go back to
the efficiency. I'll take my ten to fifteen points with
the twenty outlier here and there, and I'll set it
and forget it. Like the old Ronco products. Look it up,
especially young guys who don't know what Ronco products are,

(17:39):
like Ian Roddy, perhaps the guy I don't know what
that is.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
I don't know what that is.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
Well, it's a delicious chicken sitting in your kitchen for
you after you just set it a while ago and
completely forgot about it.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
It is.

Speaker 5 (17:51):
Yeah, so it was a rotissary chicken thing, so basically
set it and forget it.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
He had all sorts.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
It was an inventor and a pitch man, so like
one of the early infomercial kind of guys. So it
was you know, he had the pocket fisherman. So it
was a rod and reel that folded down and literally
in your pocket. Hey, I finished, I finished work early.
I'm walking home. There's a pun I'm gonna go fishing.
There it is.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
I've got the pocket Fisherman.

Speaker 5 (18:15):
And but it was the set it and forget it
of you know, put your chickens in, you know, after
seasoning or whatever, and then you just walk away for
two hours, set it and forget it.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
Come back, your chick is done.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
I'll tell you what.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
The pocket Fisherman another thing that passed Ian by. It
could have been Ian's Roddy, but instead Ronka locked up
pocket fishermen.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
In the cold man.

Speaker 6 (18:40):
Ian's Roddy.

Speaker 5 (18:41):
Yeah, so much we could do with that, but we're not.
It's a family show. Kareem Hunt going back against that
Carolina defense. They're the worst against running backs, and you
look at him over the last several weeks, we're in
those mid teens in terms of his output, Bucky Irving,
why expecting the passing game to come into play here?
A couple of big games for him in the upper teens.

(19:05):
I would expect him to take on a decent workload
this week against New York. On the other side, Tracy,
you know you're talking about a Tampa defense that has
been eviscerated over the course of this fantasy season from
all comers pretty good against actually No. Six worse the

(19:26):
way I've got him ranked against opposing and running back.
So an opportunity for him there, McConkey against the Baltimore defense.
Like we got to go with Chock, we had Herbert
as our number one. There's our representative on the list here,
Courtland Sutton going against the Las Vegas Raider over his
last four weeks seventeen twenty three, nineteen fifteen. Boom, that's

(19:47):
another opportunity. And again Vegas terrible against passing games. And
then Terry McLaurin because I got to go back to
the well another time because I'm a dope, but I
believe he'll be back into those mid teens as he
was before last week's two.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
It was a tough one, but you figure they're going
to bounce back in some way and against that Dallas defense,
Washington a significant favorite, he'd have to think Terry McLaurin
is going to get his all right, those are the
hot plays for week twelve. What's the other side of
the coin? The cold source, the guys that you don't
want to see, you don't want to touch, you don't
want anything to do with.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
Mike. Who do you got is your cold source for
week twelve?

Speaker 5 (20:25):
All right, we'll start with the wide receivers. We'll build
up to a big finale because we're going big game
hunting at the quarterback position. Jayden reed against San Francisco.
He's been a nearbystander for a couple of weeks here.
He's got three or four big games on the year,
but otherwise kind of muted. You got a seven to sixteen,
a nine point eight wrapped around a bye week. I

(20:46):
don't buy it against San Francis. I think everybody's burying
San Francisco way too soon. They're not dead yet in
this big battle, and I think Jordan Love's going to
have to look to alternate sources for movement.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Here against New England. Maybe it's Chuck, maybe it's not.

Speaker 5 (21:03):
But you're looking at a guy that is under nine
points each of his last four games. He's only gone
over fifty yards once since Week one.

Speaker 4 (21:13):
Yeah, I picked him up in a league and then
I realized, oh, that's why he was available.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Yeah, it's good.

Speaker 5 (21:19):
Yeah, Tony Pollard going up against Houston, there's six best
against running backs. He'll have a workload. He'll be in
as a back end, you know, RB two. But now
you're just wishing and hoping that things break your way.
DeAndre Swift down to the injury. Of course, with a growing
injury a groin. Wasn't that the way too?

Speaker 2 (21:35):
He used to say it growing is what he Yeah,
growing injury.

Speaker 5 (21:40):
Yeah, Minnesota second best against running backs. He's also going
to lose more time to Rashawn Johnson, as we talked
about prior to last week. So that was one of
our hits that he would be in a double digit
touch situation. I think you see more of that here
straight North South runner and the injury leaves me wanting
there and then we go big game hunting with two
quarterback first CJ Stroud against the Tennessee Titans.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Tank Dell goes with him here a little bit of
a tough spot.

Speaker 5 (22:07):
But then we save the best for last Monday Night football.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Jackson Tamar Jackson, and again it's.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
That biggest of the big game, right and it's.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
That big asterisk.

Speaker 5 (22:20):
But you're gonna start him, but I want to see
how good the Chargers defense is. Right, Like as we
talked about a little bit before, it's like, I don't know, Look,
the over under is.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
Going up four points. Yeah, since it launched, right, I
went from forty seven to fifty one.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
I'll tell you what.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
It's funny because he started out cold soars and you're
not ready to put San Francisco away.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
I am.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
I don't think that it's there for them. I think
it's it's done for the Niners this year. Even if
they make the playoffs, I don't think they're going to
be doing much damage.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
And on the flip side, I like Lamar on Monday Night.
I don't know why.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
I maybe it's you know, Joe Burrow still you know
got his but.

Speaker 5 (22:59):
No and that and that's the thing, Like it's more
of the cautionary tale.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
I think. I don't.

Speaker 5 (23:04):
Look, he's not gonna get shut down by any ways,
you know, shape or form.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
But Burrow looked pretty average for three quarters.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
Well, you know the other the other side of it
is he may have a bad day, but you still
may have to play him.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
And that's one.

Speaker 5 (23:21):
Yeah, you're still playing him. This is just one where
if I'm looking at it and look, people draft a
million different ways, it's the I'm going to start him,
and then I may be gritting my teeth the entire time,
because especially if the guy on my bench on Sunday
has already gone off and now I faced the chargers

(23:41):
on the road at the what is now a lively
so far.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
Kind of curious Mike.

Speaker 6 (23:49):
In one of my leagues, I am deciding between two
of your cold soars, Jaden Reid and Tank Dell. And
that's that's a tough one, and I I gotta say,
I'm not happy to hear both of them come up
on your cold soares list, but I have to start
one of them.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Who do you start?

Speaker 3 (24:04):
Yeah? I would start Jayden Reid.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
Yeah, that's who I have in right now.

Speaker 4 (24:08):
The only reason being is because I also have Tank Dell,
and I've been keenly interested and there isn't the concerted
effort you have Nico Collins there, it's Tank Dell. Right
now is closer to John Metchi and Robert Woods than
he is Nico Collins. Yeah, and so in that factor,

(24:29):
I would probably go with Jayden Reid.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
And everybody bows to the altar of Joe Mixon.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
Yes, yes, that is true.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
That is very true, especially what I think could be
a funky divisional game. You know, I actually think that
the Titans are going to figure it out in the
next couple of years.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
I don't know why. I think it just works with
Brian Gailean. I love the way that he's handled Will
Levis so far early in his career. Maybe they're still
in the market for it, but you know they last
week there was a little something there. Now with Derek Stingly,
I don't know if you're going to have that sort
of success on for the Titans, But the Titans as

(25:10):
a hole in the future I think could be interesting,
and I think this game could be interesting on Sunday.
I think the Texans are gonna win, but not as
easy as people may say.

Speaker 5 (25:18):
Seven and a half is your number. As I look
at the board, forty point five, you're over under.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
Yeah, they don't have a lot to play for this
Tennessee but division game, Yeah, we'll see.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
All right, is still screw with the Texans?

Speaker 3 (25:33):
Yeah? Absolutely, absolutely value there.

Speaker 4 (25:36):
I think these division games as we're seeing, as we
saw Thursday Night, I know conditions play a role in it,
but he'd be surprised at what can happen with some
of these matchups.

Speaker 5 (25:44):
Hey, why can't Mike Tomlin win on Thursday Night? Let's
talk about that. I didn't never He's never won a
Thursday Football game. That's never.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
Just wow.

Speaker 4 (25:57):
And they would play a lot, a lot of them,
I would I would think at least one a year
would have to be.

Speaker 5 (26:03):
Yeah, at least that was the the graphic I saw
that was was up earlier was that he had never
won a Thursday Night football games.

Speaker 6 (26:15):
He's been coaching a long time like that. Yeah, that's
when did Thursday Night Football start?

Speaker 3 (26:20):
What year?

Speaker 4 (26:21):
Well, it's been going on for gosh twenty years, but
it started on the NFL network.

Speaker 5 (26:28):
Sorry sorry, let me let me let me specify. There's
caveats to it. So on Thursday Night Football two and
eight on the road, but in divisional road games oh
and seven all timeh and five under him.

Speaker 6 (26:43):
We found his kryptonite. But I mean that's super specific,
but we found it.

Speaker 5 (26:48):
It is a significant sample size at this point, right, Yes,
we always go for the larger thing. We wouldn't need
at least thirty go back to our basic stats classes.
But for coaching, I mean, that's kind of a curiosity, right,
a guy who seemingly figured out a lot of stuff
and they almost did here, let's not dis counted completely
in what was a weird ass game down the stretch.

(27:12):
But yeah, there's there's your random data point on Mike.

Speaker 6 (27:14):
Tom You you see records like that, and it makes
you wonder just how much of that is just a
total coincidence, you know, because it's not like like, oh,
on Thursdays, the planet's a ligne in such a way
that he's unable to win games, you know what I mean.
It's it's just weird how things turn out like that.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
Also, and it's with the division opponent. Sure, no, they're
probably putting pretty good games up. It's just funny that
they haven't. He hasn't broken through at least one time on.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Those It's almost like a playoff game these years.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, into your question. That was harsh, Mike,
I'm not wrong. Yeah, to answer your question, there was
also a Thursday Night Football in the nineties. But this
current package started out actually as an NFL network package
almost twenty years ago. It was about two thousand and

(28:03):
six ish, I think around that time. That sounds right, Mike,
two thousand and six, two thousand and seven. Brian Gumbel
was actually the play by play voice of it early on,
and then it ended up continuing and then obviously expanding
in recent years to all weeks. But I do remember
in the nineties, I think we talked about this. I
went to a Bears Packers game on a Thursday night

(28:24):
in nineteen ninety one. It was in the middle of October.
I think the I think the Braves beat the Pirates
that night in Game seven of the NLCS, to be
honest with you, but that was Thursday Night Football. So
they've had it for a long time. But this most
recent package, I would say, it's going on now for
about it's been consistent, I should say, for like the
last eighteen or nineteen years.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
See, I just wanted to do my family.

Speaker 4 (28:46):
Guy and it's and it's been a different different ways,
right Because I mentioned an NFL network, you know, for
a time it was you know, Fox and Yes all
over yeah, yeah, now on Amazon Prime.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
All right, let's get to the Ninja's Mike the Sneaky
Place for the upcoming.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
Week, Tommy Cutlets against Tampa. What because Tampa is terrible?
Hey man? Six teams on bye, guys are hurt. Just
Dan's what why not?

Speaker 5 (29:19):
Let's throw it up to you know, look, maybe you're
a big underdog in your matchup. You're looking at it
and you're saying, all right, let's go for the downs.
He's not coming in there in the hand, the ball
off elevated against a bad defense opportunity and Millie Neighbors
is going to have a dozen targets at a minimum.
Wandale Robinson, we've highlighted through the year. Why the hell not?

Speaker 3 (29:39):
All right, let's roll it, go with it. The Vetos
got Mike on his side.

Speaker 5 (29:46):
Look, man, strange bedfellows and at the end, in the
interest of being interesting and perhaps provocative and a little
bit off the radar, yeah, let's go.

Speaker 4 (29:55):
I said this is major League two, like this is
like last year was major League great movie. This year
it's going to be major League two. And you're like,
what are we doing here? And I don't think the
time of Devido story is going to be the same.
But again we'll find out on Sunday. Bucks that's my
favorite ark.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
That's my New York impression.

Speaker 2 (30:14):
By the way, that was pretty good.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
Yeah, thank you, thank you very much.

Speaker 5 (30:17):
Drop a forget about it. While yeah too, Anthony Richardson
against Detroit. Detroit's one of the top defenses against opposing quarterbacks.
This one is just I expect Detroit to do what
they do offensively, which means Anthony Richardson, while he may
not do it a ton via the air, I'm gonna
get it with his legs and I need one. I
need one around the goal line. Jonathan Taylor. We push

(30:39):
him off to the side a little bit. So long
as Richardson's out there, we've got an opportunity for Look,
it's boom or bust when we talk about Richardson at
this point.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Hey, it's week twelve.

Speaker 5 (30:51):
Strange bedfellows most against New England go back to that
data point of them being one of the worst against
opposing ground games. So be smart about it. If you're
the Miami Dolphins, take care of business.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
H hm.

Speaker 5 (31:04):
One of our top plays most will get him in
as a flex this week, as we will with Austin
Eckler going up against Dallas seventeen eighteen seventeen, three of
his last four games. So an opportunity here, Deebo Samuel,
Why because we just need to get the ball in
somebody's hands quickly. Kind Of the same theory with why
McCaffrey still cracked the top five even with uncertainty at quarterback.

(31:28):
Everybody's calling Debo out. This might be the opportunity for
one of those game breaking kind of mutant plays, either
off a quick flank or screen and end around or
some gadgetry to get him in the mix against Green
Bay because they're going to need something to jump start
the offense. Kendrick Bourne going up against Miami eighteen last week. Again,
a little bit of a price shot here as we

(31:50):
look at an opportunity. And then back to that Monday
night football game and Quinton Johnston. A couple of really
nice plays by the Cincinnati secondary something we haven't gotten
to see say a lot this year that kept Johnston
from having a massive game last week.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
I think he breaks through this time around.

Speaker 4 (32:08):
Those are your ninjas for Week twelve of the National
Football League season.

Speaker 3 (32:13):
The hop plays, cold Soares and whatnot.

Speaker 4 (32:15):
All the information that you needed to know the guys
that did not make did not make Mike's rankings.

Speaker 3 (32:20):
Now it's the time.

Speaker 4 (32:21):
For Ian Roddy and myself to put on the expert
camp well of our streaming defenses plus Survivor, pick Points
of Baluza, and a whole lot more. He's Mike Harmon,
I'm Dan Byer, that's Ian Roddy. This is I Want
Your Flex.

Speaker 3 (32:35):
All right.

Speaker 4 (32:36):
Time to wrap up this episode of I Want Your Flex.
Get Mike again on X at Swollen Dome and Blue Sky.
Mike harmon Blue Sky. You can find me Dan Byer
on ex At dan Byer on Fox. You can get
Ian Roddy on x AT Ian Roddy Underscore, but you
can't get him right now on Blue Sky. You know,

(32:56):
but he already stole Ian Roddy.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
You know.

Speaker 6 (32:58):
I actually did find this Ian audio on Blue Sky.
His name that he has written isn't Ian Roddy. His
name is literally Ian Roddy dot blue sky dot social.

Speaker 3 (33:10):
Name that you could still get that.

Speaker 6 (33:13):
I don't know if the username is available, but his
name name I don't know that.

Speaker 4 (33:19):
You think at birth he was named Ianroddy dot bsky
dot social that's that's that's.

Speaker 5 (33:27):
Yeah, that's on his birth and really someone who's uh,
well he's a time traveler.

Speaker 4 (33:32):
I'm just I'm just guessing this that it's someone who
has no idea how to use the site, has beating
you to it. Ian Rod. That's all that I know.
He doesn't even have like a landscape picture or whatever
they call it. The background picture. It's just he and
his wife. Photo picture, yeah, cover photo there, it is,
all right, anyway, who cares about your social media activity.

(33:52):
Let's get to your streaming defenses for Week twelve of
the NFL season.

Speaker 6 (33:56):
All right, Yeah, let's start with the Washington Commanders. So
they're four rostered, should be out there for a lot
of you.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (34:03):
So they're playing against Dallas. As Mike said earlier, it's Dallas.
That's enough an explanation as you need. But no, so Dallas.
They're starting Cooper Rush still at quarterback, as they will
be for the rest of the year. Since Rush has started,
the Cowboys haven't been able to exceed ten points. So
just in general, that's something you really want to look
for when you're looking to face a defense. Yeah, no,

(34:25):
Rush and the Cowboys themselves no real threat on offense
other than Ceedee Lamb. So as long as the Commanders
do a good job of taking away ced Lamb, which look,
if that's the only thing they need to focus on,
I trust them to do it. You know, the Washington
defense themselves, they're not that great. But again, there's only
one thing you need to eliminate. That's Ceedee Lamb. I

(34:46):
trust him to do it.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
Next the Tampa Bay Bucket.

Speaker 4 (34:49):
By the way, Sorry, it gives me a perfect time
to say Ceedee Lamb didn't practice on Thursday. He was
limited Wednesday, but didn't practice on Thursday. So something to
watch for Friday and something that could be even worse
for the Cowboys and better for the Commanders if Lamb
doesn't go.

Speaker 6 (35:03):
Good point yeah, yeah, even more reason to start the
Commanders then. And then the other one is the Tampa
Bay Buccaneers.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
They're thirty percent rostered right now.

Speaker 6 (35:10):
They're playing against the Giants and Tommy cutlets who not
gonna lie.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
I'm sweating a little bit now that I.

Speaker 6 (35:15):
Know that Tommy Cutletz is one of Mike's hot plays,
but I'm still gonna roll the buck.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Hey, Ninja.

Speaker 5 (35:26):
Yes, based on the fact that the Buccaneers are the
worst defense against opposing quarterbacks, but uh look that's why
they still play the games.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
Right, yeah, there you go.

Speaker 6 (35:35):
So, uh yeah, the Bucks facing Tommy Cutlets. He's been
their third stringer all year, which is the funny part,
like they he inexplicably jumped Drew Locke on the depth chart,
and it's it had nothing to do with his you know,
on the field play, So it's it's just you.

Speaker 3 (35:50):
Know, yeah, we know why. It's because the Giants want
to sell more tickets.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
Is exactly right. Yeah, that's all it is, all marketing.

Speaker 6 (35:58):
Probably, But with that being the case, I mean, the
on field product's going to suffer and the Bucks defense
will be the beneficiaries of that. Temper expectations for turnovers
because DeVito is actually pretty good at taking care of
the football. But one thing he does do is he
takes a lot of sacks. At least that's what we
saw from him last year and his I think he
had seven starts, so yeah, it makes him a good

(36:20):
matchup for defenses, the fact that he takes a lot
of sacks.

Speaker 4 (36:23):
True Luck left Seattle for a little bit more money
and a better shot at starting, and.

Speaker 3 (36:31):
Now he's stuck there.

Speaker 4 (36:31):
Although I will say this, I don't know if I'd
want to start for the Giants at these this home
stretch here, considering where their offensive line is. You lost
Andrew Thomas. Yeah, it could be a tough go. But crazy,
crazy happenings with the Giants. So Commanders in Tampa Bay,
you got another Just those two.

Speaker 3 (36:47):
Just those two, all right, That's fine.

Speaker 4 (36:49):
Because I'm going to jump along, Mike. I'm not going
to take down your Ninjas. In fact, I'm going to
ride with you. My Oasis song of the week is
Some might say, and some might say that Anthony Richardson
is overrated or not worth it, but I'm not. Some
might say that Anthony Richardson has found his footing. I

(37:10):
think that Anthony Richardson continues his good play from what
he did against the Jets to your point of the Lions. Listen,
the Lions aren't gonna blow every single team that they
play out. And you destroy the Jaguars like they did
last week, you now go on the road. You have
a short week with the Bears coming up on Thursday,

(37:31):
huge trap game here for the Lions to not look
ahead to Thursday, the special game, the short week it's
not a huge road trip for them. So I just
I love the Colts in this spot to maybe give
the Lions a game and maybe even just pull the
upset because it would be a game you wouldn't think
would be a big deal. And I like Anthony Richardson

(37:53):
to play well against Detroit in this contest.

Speaker 5 (37:55):
Hey you go, non conference, Yeah, opportunity here. Detroit is
seven point road favorite over unders of forty nine and
a half for this one.

Speaker 4 (38:04):
So they've got the one loss of the year that
was to Tampa Bay in Week two. But look at
this stretch to end the season, Bears, Packers, Bills, Bears, Niners, Vikings,
this is the last game that kind of doesn't matter
to them. All the other ones are are pretty important.
So I like Anthony Richardson and the Colts is my
oasis play. I'll tell you what points of palooza Mike

(38:25):
mentioned the over unders. I'm not going to take a
high over under like you would get with the Chargers
and Ravens. I try to keep it where it could
be sneaky. I'm gonna go super sneaky. I think that
the Titans Texans is going to have some points. Let's
go yes, why did Yeah, I know, I know it's
it's big game hunting at that point, but I'm just

(38:47):
thinking that maybe the Titans can keep up there under
the bargain for a little bit. About what we talked
about earlier. I think it'll be more of a of
a competitive game. I think the Texans will be able
to score and have success on the ground. But we've
seen some big playability coming from the Titans, and we'll
see if it may not be Calvin Ridley this week,
but Westbrook and Keene has been one's gotten to the

(39:09):
end zone a lot. So we'll roll the dice on
this one and say Titans, Texans and the survivor pick
of the week. I Am going a little off the
board because if you're in a survivor pool, are still
alive at this point, you don't need my help. All
I'm gonna say is this, there are a couple of games. Commanders, Cowboys, Chiefs, Panthers.
You're going to see a lot of picks. I'd be

(39:30):
worried about the Dolphins a little bit. Drake may has
been getting some love. I think New England's defense could
be up to the task. We don't know what is
actually happening with the Dolphins with you mentioned Jalen Waddle earlier,
Tyreek Hill hasn't been Tyreek Hill Divisional game. This one
is in Florida. I know the Dolphins will be home,

(39:51):
and it's not like they have a great home crowd there.
I just would stay away from the Dolphins, would be
my survivor advice this week.

Speaker 3 (39:59):
It's one of those games of the touchdown plus spread.

Speaker 4 (40:02):
You're gonna get a lot of Commanders, You're gonna get
a lot of Chiefs, may get a lot of Texans,
but I'd stay away from the Dolphins in that one.

Speaker 3 (40:10):
That's my survivor advice for Week twelve.

Speaker 2 (40:12):
Right on, Yeah, spreads in this one, Dan, Yeah, all right?
We got Dallas Washington.

Speaker 5 (40:18):
That's ten and a half, Casey ten and a half
on the road at Carolina one, two, three, another? What
three games that are seven or better than a couple
of six pointers and a lot of road favorites this week.

Speaker 4 (40:31):
Yeah, that'll be a tough one to I never liked
picking road teams in Survivor pools, but sometimes you may
have to. Again, I think the Chiefs are going to
be a pretty popular pick, especially coming off the loss
to Buffalo Like who would have thought. The Chiefs are
on the losing streak and the Panthers are on the
win streak. Even though the losing streak is won. The
Panthers have a two game win streak and they collide

(40:53):
in Charlotte. Let's go yeah, and the Chiefs playing at
a one o'clock Eastern time.

Speaker 3 (41:00):
Kick That doesn't happen too often.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
No, that's true, all.

Speaker 4 (41:03):
Right, So there it is good luck to all the
deer hunters in the Midwest. Listened in the Great State
of Wisconsin this weekend gun deer season opening up.

Speaker 5 (41:12):
Well, they said, make sure you go to your doctor
before you go deer hunting. I mean, you saw that
story that was making the rounds because you had a
couple of guys in deer season dropping dead trying to
get to get their catch right. Yeah, it's like the
old Homer Simpson mister Plow episode and the inevitable heart
attacks from shoveling snow.

Speaker 2 (41:30):
Be careful out there. You got to get ready for
the season.

Speaker 4 (41:33):
Each each of the regions of this country has something
that's funky. Ian I don't know if you know this,
and Mike, I'm w I'm sure if you know this
coming from Chicago where I'm from. We have a it's
basically a week long period from a Saturday to the
next Sunday, where you can shoot deer with a gun.

(41:54):
You go out hunting, and it's the week that leads
to that basically spans Thanksgiving, so days before obviously the
school week is short because of Thanksgiving, we would only
be in school Monday and Tuesday. Our school district and
many others in our area gave free passes to kids
who are going to miss school to go deer hunting.

(42:15):
You could just say, yeah, I'm going hunting those days
and you will get a free pass out of school. Now,
you'll obviously have to make up your work, but it
is an excused absence if you want to go deer
hunting on Monday and Tuesday of Thanksgiving week.

Speaker 5 (42:28):
See now they just give everybody here the week off.
So sure, my kids get the week off, so no
hunting for us. But no, that's curious. I mean, like
you get to go do some some bonding with family
and friends. Yeah, some life skills, go to the shack.

Speaker 4 (42:45):
Absolutely, yeah, and if you give your suit a deer, great,
And I know there's people who don't love it and
I understand it, and that is your opinion, and completely
understand the deal. But that is something that goes around,
that goes on where I'm from. Starting on Saturday and yeah,

(43:06):
Monday and Tuesday, a lot of kids would be out
of school because they're out hunting.

Speaker 5 (43:09):
Yeah, but I mean the population overruns areas correct, and
Grennison jilli one done properly is about the finest thing
you can eat.

Speaker 4 (43:17):
Yes, yes, And the winter's coming and so stock let's
go yeah for them, and the deer are gonna starve,
you know. But again I'm not Hey, I'm not gonna
say anything. We're going to keep it down the middle
here and I want your flex although we are on
the side of Ian should have gotten his Blue Sky account.

Speaker 2 (43:33):
This is true.

Speaker 4 (43:34):
Yeah, before we ever ran into this mess.

Speaker 3 (43:37):
There it is, there, it is.

Speaker 2 (43:38):
We'll have to fight.

Speaker 4 (43:41):
Why don't you just see if Roddy is available on
Blue Sky.

Speaker 3 (43:45):
Maybe that's for the next episode.

Speaker 6 (43:47):
Tune in, tune in next week to find out.

Speaker 4 (43:50):
Hey, by the way, I'm glad you mentioned next week
because it is Thanksgiving. We are only going to have
two episodes. Tuesday it'll drop and Wednesday it'll drop. Wednesdale
have the rankings. Tuesday will be our normal look back
at the week and as we will look back at
week twelve. So all right, guys, enjoy the games, good
luck fighting for our playoff lives and certain leagues, and

(44:11):
so much more so for Ian Roddy and Mike Carmen.

Speaker 3 (44:14):
I'm Dan Byer.

Speaker 4 (44:15):
Good luck in week twelve and we'll talk to you
on the other side here and I want your flags
