(00:58):
League Baseball Right now who top of the fourth inning,
Padres lead the Dodgers one to nothing. Uh Manny Machad
a little bit of chin music in his last at
bat ball just just whizzed by his cheek. He started
saying no, no, no, no, no no no. But there
were not any escalations of yet yet, not any escalations
(01:20):
following there, so it is still one nothing. Padres as
they lead the Dodgers as they bet in the top
of the.
Speaker 5 (01:26):
Fourth pick working out for your old man. Well, here's
the thing.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
My dad and I decided to do the mL three
streak beat the streak where you have to pick someone
to get a hit every day and you get fifty
seven games in a row and you win five point
six million dollars.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
Right, that's the that's the Yeah. Somebody went got to
fifty games and had a bad beat. The other night,
somebody there's a choice runner stayed fearing and doubled off,
so he got thrown out at second. So my dad,
I said, you picked the first one tonight and I'll
go the next dait. We're going to alternate. I'm so
looking forward to doing this with him. And I said,
(02:02):
who are you picking first? He says Andy pa has
I said, really, you not going.
Speaker 5 (02:06):
With Judge Jory?
Speaker 3 (02:07):
You go to the anti Piez really goes, yeah, come on,
I had four inchs last night.
Speaker 5 (02:10):
He's hot.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
I'm like, okay, so far tonight the Los Angeles Dodgers
have one hit. That hit is by Andy pat has.
Speaker 5 (02:18):
One down, fifty six to go. We're coming for you, LB.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
No, we got the the doubles. So all the pressure
is now on you. Has he texted you yet already
or what?
Speaker 5 (02:27):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (02:27):
Probably in the I assume it'll be in the next
fifteen or twenty minutes.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
I will get a text from him going, Okay, who
you got boy? Thanks man, no pressure. Great, And it'll
be Thursday, so it'll be a short slate. Yeah, I know, right,
it's like, oh great, so they getaway days and but
I just have to look at lineups and guys that
might take a day of Oh man, I just got
to pick one guy to get a hit. It's okay,
We're all good. No pressure, one guy to get a hit,
that's all right. I mean there's you know, there's mean
(02:52):
you had nine guys from the Mets to try to
pick to get a hit against Chris Sale today and
it didn't work. I mean there there's like there's like
thirteen games. Okay, it's pretty good. Okay, pretty good sleep
for a Thursday. Yeah, you know, it's I feel okay,
but I feel Okay with having a good having a
good pick, and maybe what I will just start doing
is just picking Yankees all the time, because that way,
if I get it wrong, I could still blame him.
Speaker 5 (03:13):
Yeah, but I picked a Yankee. Dad, Way to go.
You're taking stakes? Yeah, way to go that ship.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
That's not a bad strake. Jason's gone fourteen fifteenth to pay.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
Yet.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Yeah, so I assume I will get that. Okay, you're up, Junior,
that's all. I'll get something over there. Yeah, I'll get
something like that from him. Yeah, although like his judge
going to play tomorrow, it's an early game. It's together
way that you know, I got to get up early
and do this now, MA say, no pressure. So this
is where but I just have to text him. I
just say, all right, here's what I'm going to pick,
and you put it in charge of it. You know,
(03:46):
he wants to be in charge of putting it in.
He wants to do it. He was, Yeah, no, give
it to me, I'll do it. Okay, great, great, awesome,
you do it. As he emboldened himself with the power
to override your choice, saying the kid doesn't know what
he's doing. No if if he does that we're not
doing it anymore, do it, my stny chance?
Speaker 5 (04:01):
The old man, Yeah, he said that the old man
is didn't ignored the order.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Son, have you ever served Milton, No, sir, ever put
another man's life in your hands. Ask to do the same
for you, not, sir. Uh So Pa has one game down,
the streak rolls on. Uh Now, speaking of Dodgers, Yankees,
all these teams, we had a very big story today
in sports in which the Lakers were sold for ten
(04:28):
billion dollars. The Bus family selling overriding control of the
Lakers for ten billion dollars. Genie Bus going to stay
on as governor, so she's going to continue to run
the Lakers for at least the next few years. Mark
Walter is a guy who's owns part of the Dodgers.
He owned some soccer again. He's got his finger in
a lot of pies, m finger and pies. So the
(04:50):
Bus family is going to keep a minority share. But
ten billion dollars is the sale price. We've it's been
a short journey to jump to the Hey, what franchises
would go for a billion? What franchise would go for
two or three billion? What franchises go for five billion.
Now we're in the ten billion dollar range. So I
(05:11):
throw this out there to you because you know, it's
always fun happy, because this is a different kind of conversation, right,
you know, the Mount Rushmore conversation. But I figure, Okay,
this is good because I have four teams, including the Lakers,
that if they went for sale now, would go for
at least ten billion dollars. Four teams in sports would
(05:32):
go for ten billion. By the way, I feel vindicated
in all of these transactions for being the guy shouting
that Steve Balmer was a genius all those years ago
when he spent two billion dollars Clippers, and everybody is like,
you're nuts, because you know what.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
That got football to Los Angeles. Finally, when the number
two team in LA was bought for two billion, that
all of a sudden, every year the NFL would use
LA against any team that wanted a new stadium, a
new something, we go to LA. Then it was oh, man,
if the Clippers just went for two billion, man the Rams,
whoa okay, and all of a sudden, boom, we had
two teams in Los Angeles in the next year, right,
(06:08):
that was like it was huge moment.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Well, we go back, is like who's selling franchises in
major markets? Didn't have to be a winner, just needed
to have that zip code. Yeah, oh that stamp. So
Steve Balmer, you should get more credit for what you've done. Now,
now go figure out how to win.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
But now the Rams one of the top teams in
sports with their evaluation not a ten billion dollars Yankees Cowboys,
not a ten billion dollar team Yankees Cowboys and Knicks,
because remember the Knicks comes with MSG.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
No, that's true. So Nickson with that, that is your
that is your mount Rushmore. Those are your four sure
fire ten billion dollar frame pacers or not even that,
Well that'd be well. Remember, people are still gonna come
to MSG. They'll go see Taylor sw What.
Speaker 5 (06:58):
Do you get went for? Doc?
Speaker 1 (07:02):
If dogs take us back under, then if Doc Rivers
is the coach, the Nicks go for twenty bucks and
and we'll take you to lunch.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Now, the Dodgers also evaluation of about six or seven billion,
but they have a lot of money that they're spending.
The bill is gonna come due really soon with Otani
in a few years, so I don't think the Dodgers
would quite get to ten billion, but those fourth but
that's a that's a lot to get to ten billion
off of this with they have they're extended, you would
say the Dodgers are kind of extended right now. Yeah,
(07:29):
but they're making like again, it goes back to the
Otani contract and its structure is fascinating to me. Uh
in terms of deferred payments. I know they've got to
put it in an ESCO account. There's some debate as
to who retains interest off the set account, et cetera.
But they're printing money.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
Yeah, but there's but they're still the Dodgers still aren't
gonna go if their valuation is like near seven billion,
are they someone gonna go three billion over that? Owning
the Dodger isn't quite Owning the Yankees, which has been
a steinbrenneron team for the past fifty five and desire
to own the Yankees. People will go crazy to buy
(08:10):
the Yankees, right to buy the Knicks, to own the
Knicks and Madison Square Garden, people will go crazy. But
of course the Cowboys, that's gonna be. They would get
Jerry Jones if he sold the Cowboys would get twelve
billion dollars for that team, And I'll gill you this
bold prediction. When he's all said and done and he
is done owning the Dallas Cowboys, he will sell the team.
(08:31):
That will be the final exclamation point of his career. Right,
not gonna leave it to Steven And he's gonna say, Okay,
look what I did. I bought the team for this,
and now I am selling it for the record that
we've ever seen a team get sold for in professional sports.
And it's just gonna go up the next few years
because the NFL, we know how much their value of
those teams just keep rising and rising. So if he
(08:54):
sells the team in five or eight years, maybe it's
fourteen billion, fifteen billion, But if he sold the Cowboys
right now, it would go for twelve agle, for twelve
billion dollars. And when it's all said and done, he's
not just gonna say he wants to be that guy.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
Right.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
He may not have another.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Super Bowl championship to celebrate, but he's gonna celebrate money
and he's gonna tell it this is what I did.
Speaker 5 (09:14):
Look what I did.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Nobody is gonna sell a franchise for more than this
for a long time. Jerry Jones will do that.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
Yeah, it's the curiosity though, right when we look at
sport to sport, baseball global inroads, but some uncertainty as
to what the broadcasting rights look like. Obviously, the Dodgers
have everything taken care of locally, you know, AM five
seventy on the radio side, and then you've got Spectrum
Sports and everything. But the NFL and globalization, and we
(09:42):
see the dollars that continue to.
Speaker 5 (09:44):
Pour in year over year and.
Speaker 3 (09:47):
What that rev share is worth each franchise for the NBA.
Whatever people want to complain about ratings, talk about globalization,
talk about the deal that Adam Silver was able to
broke her and the money that is flowing in there
and continues to grow for baseball, that that is one
of the questions. But certainly Jerry Jones and the Dallas
(10:09):
Cowboys that globalization, that brand is unquestioned in terms of
its power. Let's have a little fun with numbers though, right,
average rate of inflation since nineteen seventy nine is three
point four percent. Okay, So the sixty seven million dollars
that Jerry Buss used to buy the Lakers from Jack
(10:31):
can't cook all those years ago? You know what it
would cost today based on that rate of inflation. Boy uh,
I see I've gotten better at math, but I'm not
quite that good.
Speaker 5 (10:42):
Three hundred and fourteen million dollars. That's it, okay, all right?
Speaker 3 (10:45):
It sold for ten billion, So talk about investments, talk
about right place, right time and recognizing growth. And obviously
it is the luxury brand, luxury brands and all that
comes with it. Again, this is ten billion without what
you get with MSG. And that's where we're talking about
(11:08):
the Knicks. What are we talking because that's what thing
with James.
Speaker 5 (11:10):
Dolan, like would he sell the plus the sphere come on?
Speaker 4 (11:14):
Right?
Speaker 3 (11:15):
And I want the sphere too because because I bleep
and feel like it's part of David Putney. Is the
sphere in the sphere and I want David Putney because
I feel like it. I watched the giant legs that
are out there for the Wizard of Oz. That could
change things for the Knicks if it's not if MSG
doesn't come as part of it, right, Like if I
would hold MSG and I'm selling the Knicks, which Knicks
fans go.
Speaker 5 (11:36):
Yeah, sure, we don't care, we don't care.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
You stop running the team or taking the train down
down to the stadium anyway, We're not parking there.
Speaker 5 (11:43):
I don't care, but.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
It would it would have to be. It would have
to be both of them to get over that, and
it may go way and that may go way over well,
that's evaluation of MSG might be even through the but
before that, No, the Knicks aren't getting to ten billion
just by themselves.
Speaker 5 (11:59):
They need MS.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
But that's part of it because that's that's part of
the part of the holdings. Yeah, Now I'm curious is
what that market cap A four and a half billion
or thereabouts right now?
Speaker 5 (12:11):
Five billion issue for MSG alone, So.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Yeah, you're getting you're getting right now with the Knicks
being somewhere right around seven billions, so you're.
Speaker 5 (12:19):
At almost close to twelve.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
But if it's both of them, yeah, if it's both
of them, But just think about that. For Jerry Jones
and the Cowboys, right, like like what he's been, he
has always wanted to and been about celebrating his own accomplishments.
He's about celebrating money, he's about celebrating what he's done
for the league. Well, able to claim ownership of everything.
(12:40):
Right when when it comes to the league, right, how
did they get to LA?
Speaker 1 (12:43):
Yeah, Well, yeah, I did everything right, and again we
want to celebrate stuff, right, you want to celebrate. If
you're not celebrating super Bowls, you got to find some
way to beebrate the super Bowl of business. And that's
and that's Jerry Jones, right, that's what he would be
known for. Hey, Jerry Jones, who bought the team. Look
at what he did. He won super Bowl titles. He
increased his sold for an for elite for North American
(13:05):
sports for a professional sports team record twelve thirteen, fourteen.
But whatever it is, whenever he has done and this
one again, it might not be from the ten years
or so, but he's gonna want that headline.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
He made one forty million in nineteen eighty nine. He
is gonna want that headline man to go one hundred
and forty million to the fourteen billion or fifteen whatever
it's gonna.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
Be, he is gonna want.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
It's the ultimate doffing of the gap. Look what I did, congratulations,
And this league is built on my back. I know
that have won a super Bowl title since ninety six
and it's uh uh twenty sixty five right now, just
turned one hundred and seventeen. Been staying alive going to Germany,
getting new blood, coming back, getting blood again, coming back
(13:45):
getting blood again. Uh yeah, I'm gonna be around a while.
But uh yeah, it's been near one hundred years for
since Cowboys. Well he was on that ship with Remick.
Speaker 5 (13:52):
But that was right.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
It's very difficult. Uh just you know, it's very very
hard to get buy things. But uh, you know, boy,
I remember that long time ago. It's a long time ago,
in nineteen eighty nine, one hundred and forty million dollars.
But like he would, he's the guy that waits for
the Forbes valuation to come out, and he adds it
up and goes, this is what I did. I think
you're a little low. Don't don't forget. Don't forget. I
(14:17):
don't pay the guys in actual money. It's cowboy bucks.
So that's more money than that's another one hundred and
fifty one hundred and seventy five two hundred million a
year that I don't pay out. That's pretty good. Plus
no state income tax. I would be at corporate tax anyway.
Got their own dry cleaning, got their own co op,
They get the food at where they spend the Cowboy
bucks at, got their own movie theater, got golf course
(14:39):
and of course practice field and everybody drinks pepsi. So
now it's its own little world there. I like that,
it's it's his own city within the city. Jerry Jonesville,

The Mount Rushmore Conversation field very different kind of Mount
Rushmore conversations. The ten billion dollar Mount Rushmore teams and
sports lakers who are sold for ten billion dollars today,
the Knicks because it would come with Madison Square Garden,
the Yankees, and the Dallas Cowboys who probably would go
(17:18):
for the most money, probably if they've sold right now
twelve billion dollars in a few years, maybe get to
fifteen billion, getting north of that a little bit.
Speaker 5 (17:26):
The Dallas Cowboys.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
Of Dallas Cowboys, especially especially with honey supplies in trouble.
I mean, Jerry's got the market. Yeah, corner there with
the cowboy beas cowboy bes. And when you say cowboy Bes,
it's only one person going to join us. He is
a longtime NFL insider. You see him on the thirty
third team. Read him on the thirty third team. He's
also a Hall of Very Good voter. He's on Twitter
(17:50):
at Jason Cole sixty two. It is Chase and call
what's happening?
Speaker 4 (17:53):
Man? I gotta tell you as the owner of the Cowboys.
I couldn't be here. It's like it's almost like we
won the Super Bowl today. I just I just feel
so good about this. This is the kind of day
I dream about it, you know, I'm just this is
a fantastic day for us in Dallas. It really is
(18:15):
like getting another ring. It really is. You know, when
you see this kind of transaction and what it does
for America as the Cowboy specifically and Cowboy bees across
the world. Listen, we're expanding. We're expanding all over where.
It's saying you look, that's where we're going to be next.
I tell you that right now.
Speaker 5 (18:35):
Your voice isn't low enough and you're going too fast
to talk like Jerry Jones. You need a little bit
better cadence. On that I started to get towards Hank Hill.
I'll tell you what I sell, propane and propane accessory.
So if if Jerry.
Speaker 4 (18:51):
Jones Cherch was looking he bought a hole carton or
blue pills today, that's how it is.
Speaker 1 (19:00):
If he decided to sell the Cowboys tomorrow, Let's just
say you, is I'm going to sell the Cowboys tomorrow,
how much you think.
Speaker 5 (19:06):
He would get for him.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
Fifteen billion.
Speaker 5 (19:09):
Fifteen Wow. Okay, that's even more than I think.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
Okay, I mean because you know you're going to have
to knock his socks off right to do it, because
he's printing money right now. He knows that that brand
is amazing. And yeah, they haven't won a super Bowl
in a while, but all these guys who whoever wants
(19:34):
to spend that kind of money believe in their ability
to win a Super Bowl. Yea. Your problem is always
going to be thinking or this does that make sense?
And it's going to be it's not really an individual
(19:54):
un as you're talking about like you know, you know
in the least a royal families, things like that, which
I don't think the NFL is all that interest in doing.
But you really have to have corporate interest in this one,
and the NFL doesn't allow for that much corporate interest yet.
(20:15):
Now they're they're really interested in it, but they're not
they're not quite there yet.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
That's want to introduce you to new owner Megan Markle.
Come on in.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
Megan said, a lot of money, a lot of royal
money coming in from from England and.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
We're talking about money from h We're not talking about
that kind of I have traded that.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
I've traded the Cowboys for Buckingham Palace and also Windsor Palace.
Uh So now I own them and they owned the Cowboys.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
All this Live for Cowboys.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
I'm also getting Versailles, Louis the fourteenth, getting some other
places and uh yeah, it's a very exciting trade here that.
Speaker 5 (20:59):
We have going on.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
The Cowboys from Verfly You're.
Speaker 3 (21:04):
Gonna go live in Versall into Louis the fourteenth bedroom.
Very excited about that turn it to do it all
in cowboy colors. I'm gonna say the garden, the gardens
take up a lot of upkeep. That's a lot of overhead.
I bought the Henya Gardens of Babylonia as well. I
bought that from Top Babylonia. The figure Skater.
Speaker 5 (21:24):
Uh so I have.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
Leaving no stone unturned tie Babylonia.
Speaker 5 (21:33):
Looking up people out there.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
Jason Gold with us here, Jason Smith Show would beat
my Garden?
Speaker 5 (21:38):
Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
Yeah, pretty soon we'll have the Captain to Tineo mixed
Bata Okay, fantastic stuff. How do how do we dance
over there to uh to Cleveland? Shdor Sanders is the
one hundred and one mile an hour. Citation uh, any
any blip on the radar there for.
Speaker 4 (21:58):
Cleveland other than we're going to make up Stanley Hagar
reverence that I can't drive fifty five. But no, come
on it it's a dumb thing to do. But come on,
I've driven. I've driven faster than that.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
We realized there were thirty seven hundred people went over
one hundred miles an hour on the roads of Ohio
last year.
Speaker 4 (22:22):
It is not this is not that big a deal.
Let's move on to something that actually means something. I mean, again,
it's a dumb thing to do, it's dangerous, it's all
those other things that you want to say to say.
But he ain't alone by any measure in doing that.
(22:43):
I mean, I remember Ricky Williams did that, you know,
years and years ago. Ricky was just fine as a player.
He had other issues, but as a player, he was fine.
Speaker 5 (22:55):
I've also want to let you know that I have
bought at land purchase that makes you underwater of.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
A while.
Speaker 5 (23:05):
In a while, and they're throwing in Wisconsin.
Speaker 4 (23:08):
And all the roadways and have made things cleared up there.
For that. I bought root that time fell because you know,
beyond coach. To my heart, we that's the last time
we won anything was we had.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
All the way across Route sixty six. I bought too,
so Latin McQueen can get all the way to the
Piston Cup all the way.
Speaker 5 (23:28):
Crap, we bought that whole thing to have all of
that real estate there. Now that's the whole thing, you know,
what you do say?
Speaker 3 (23:36):
The thing about your Sanders is that I feel like
every day is a test for him from the Browns. Okay,
can you handle everything we threw? Can you handle getting
second team reps and show us you're responsible? And here
you are away from the team for three days, and
here's a and here's a bad optic and a bad headline.
Oh by the way, you know, the same time, Henry
Ruggs has a meeting telling everybody, I'm sorry, I drove
(23:58):
as fast as I did and I I killed a
woman and her dog. So I mean, I feel like
this is a bad This is a bad optic that
Shador Sanders can't really afford to hatch. In the end,
he's a fifth round pick. And if she shows, if
he shows good decision making, yeah, guess what, he could
probably start for the Browns by October. He could also
get cut the beginning of camp if if his decision
(24:18):
making isn't the best, isn't the.
Speaker 4 (24:19):
Best he can be Joe Flacco for a job. I mean,
come on, like really got you know the little of
that littlege just that they that they drafted along with him,
Joe Flacco and like a couple of cans of corn,
and you know, like we're worried about this kind of
(24:41):
it's standard whether he can actually play football, especially with
the garbage that they have on that roster. That's that's
that's how I feel about this one. Yeah, like the
decision making not great. You know, hey, can we think
about this a little bit better? You know that kind
of thank But after that, it's like, how can he
(25:02):
actually play football or not? That's my that's my view point,
especially when I've got you know, seventy five year old
Joe Flacco going against them, Right, let's really serious about
this and not over read into it. That's all I mean.
And I'm not trying to say that to understands. There's
anything interesting to me. He's like a poor man is
(25:26):
Jameis Winston with you know, who can't really run can't
really move that well and makes question of both decisions
when he throws the ball and tries to do too
much with it. Okay, that's a class in Jamis Winston thing.
But like Jameis Winston is also they had a pretty
(25:46):
good career. He's not been what he was supposed to
be at the number one overall pick, but we're talking
about fifth round pick, so it's just keep it.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
I would say, yeah, I get Jamis and Russell Wilson
and Jackson Dart.
Speaker 5 (26:03):
Tell me you don't want to be around that quarterback room.
Speaker 4 (26:06):
That's spectacular stuff.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
Man, Come on, jameson Russell Wilson going off each other.
I mean that that'll be some of the most captivating
conversation you'll have.
Speaker 4 (26:16):
It's the second one way to the Jets quarterback room, right,
I'd never mind.
Speaker 5 (26:22):
So, Hey, I think Field is gonna run for twelve
hundred yards this year. You just watch.
Speaker 3 (26:26):
He's also gonna throw for twelve hundred yards.
Speaker 5 (26:28):
Just watch.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
That's very likely seventy five yards a game.
Speaker 5 (26:38):
That's all we need, man, all we need. O.
Speaker 4 (26:42):
How Garrett Wilson's going to fail at the end of
this season after everything that he's gone through Hart, Like,
can you just get me any gonna break? Are you
any gonna break? Dude?
Speaker 5 (26:53):
Garrett Wilson's going to be so excited.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
He's going to catch ninety of Justin Field's ninety five
completed passes this year.
Speaker 5 (26:58):
It's gonna be fine.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
Ninety catches for three hundred and seventy five yards. That's
a wide receiver dream. Yeah, he should. He should be
all on top of everybody's fantasy board. Hopefully you're playing
a PPR league.
Speaker 5 (27:16):
It's the only way to go at this point.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
Hey, Travis Kelcey down twenty five pounds, he's not on
tour and drinking beer.
Speaker 5 (27:23):
And there was euro Taylor Swift deals. I turned back
the clock.
Speaker 4 (27:30):
It can only help. I mean, like he was, he
is out of shape for the first eight games last year.
He just wasn't ready to play. I mean they flashed
a little bit in the second half of the season
and it wasn't a good playoffs. But like as much
as that is, it's cool and nice and he's you know,
(27:51):
kind of refocused and everything. Good for him. Have you
that offensive line.
Speaker 3 (27:59):
Well, especially now that he's twenty five pounds later, he
can't stand in and block man yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:04):
I mean, you better get open really fast because they
ain't gonna have any time to block them block for
Mahomes like, so he's gonna getting rid of the ball
and you know as soon as he touches it. That's
the biggest question. I mean, like they they could have
won a super Bowl last year with and they almost did,
(28:24):
you know, I mean not the super Bowl game itself.
They didn't really have much of the chance to win.
But they got to a super Bowl with a substandard
Travis Kelcey where they lost the Super Bowl and they
really have the problem is that they had a substandard
offensive line and I don't know that that stick Kelsey.
They just they survived just fine. The offensive line not
(28:48):
so much. That's what I'm really concerned about.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
He's on Twitter at Jason Cole sixty two. That is
at Jason Cole sixty two Third Team. Jake Cole is
always buddy of appreciate him.
Speaker 4 (29:00):
Man, we're putting up super Bowl right now.
Speaker 3 (29:03):
There you go, not gonna have. But I bought some
other property I want to.
Speaker 5 (29:08):
Tell you about.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
He was so excited he doled out four hundred percent
raises to the cheerleaders too. Bought I bought Scotland Yard,
so now I'm up on anything all investigations that are
going on. Uh, I bought them, so excited about bought
the Hollywood Sign. Are you gonna have a show on
brit Box?
Speaker 4 (29:23):
Now?
Speaker 3 (29:24):
I got a couple of shows come yeah by all
these things. So uh uh yeah, this is where all
the money's going. And you got the Hollywood Sign, got
the Hollywood Sign. Now it's gonna say, Hollywood Cowboys, did you.
Speaker 5 (29:35):
Own the original land?
Speaker 3 (29:36):
Did you take that when they truncated? And I sold
it to Cleveland and uh for a couple of billion
and they have that. So that that's some of my
some my seed money that I was able to put
out there. Now get some other things going on, Jerry
Jones is Hollywood Cowboys Lands?
Speaker 5 (29:53):
What is gonna say? How do I subscribe to your newsletter?
Speaker 1 (29:59):
Time now to find out it's trending in the wide
world of sports. From someone who is extremely excited at
the recent turn of events and the Dodgers Padres game,
that is correct.
Speaker 5 (30:07):
It's yeah.
Speaker 6 (30:09):
It was a tie game until Dalton Rushing had a
two RBI single, So now they're up on the Padres
three to one.
Speaker 7 (30:16):
It is the top of the sixth innings. So you
are right on the money about that one. I don't
know why there's a rain delay, guys in.
Speaker 6 (30:23):
Cincinnati when it's the bottom of the sixth inning between
the Reds and the Twins.
Speaker 7 (30:27):
But there is, and the Reds are up four to two.
Just call it, Just call it. I don't get this.
Speaker 6 (30:31):
The Guardians still have a four to two lead over
the Giants.
Speaker 5 (30:35):
You have to say until all the games are over.
Speaker 7 (30:40):
I know what you're saying.
Speaker 5 (30:41):
Well, don't yell at me in spantush. Look that's a jumper,
Baja Manzi. You have to do your job, so you
want me to be here.
Speaker 7 (30:54):
Just a rain delay when it.
Speaker 5 (30:56):
Hits, you have to stay till the end. You have
to stay till the end.
Speaker 6 (31:05):
The Astros have a two one lead over the A's.
Speaker 7 (31:09):
It's the top of the sixth inning. What happened earlier
today was.
Speaker 6 (31:13):
The Braves shut out the Mets Jason five zero.
Speaker 5 (31:20):
Hassan.
Speaker 6 (31:24):
The Angels completed a three game sweep of the Yankees
three to two.
Speaker 7 (31:27):
But at least the Yankees did something.
Speaker 6 (31:28):
They've been shut out for what thirty innings or something
like that.
Speaker 7 (31:32):
The rain.
Speaker 8 (31:37):
Yor I see, I see The Rays were down eight
runs to the Orioles and came back to win it
twelve to eight. The Royals defeated the Rangers six to
three at the Men's College World Series. That Omaha curse
on Arkansas keeps stays alive, Staying alive, guys. LSU walked
it off against Arkansas sixty five on a Jared Jones
RBI single, says Isinko.
Speaker 5 (32:01):
But the hell of a comeback for Jones though, right,
he was the guy that made the error.
Speaker 7 (32:05):
He did make the air and then he comes back.
Speaker 5 (32:06):
And hits the home run and drives in the game winner.
Speaker 7 (32:09):
Yes, totally.
Speaker 6 (32:10):
They're gonna play Colestal Carolina on Saturday in the first
game of a best Did.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
You say they play Coldstone Carolina?
Speaker 7 (32:18):
Hungry?
Speaker 5 (32:18):
Yeah, I want ice cream oas.
Speaker 7 (32:20):
It's now cold Stale.
Speaker 5 (32:22):
It's coldstal he said, Coldstone Carolina's.
Speaker 7 (32:25):
Good, which I now I want Coldstone. Yeah, okay, let's
make it happen. Yea Coldstone now, Oh my gosh. Colestle
Carolina has won.
Speaker 6 (32:35):
Twenty six in a row and they're gonna maybe make
it twenty seven, says Mob and.
Speaker 7 (32:43):
The l A anyway are lose Lakers, but I don't know.
Speaker 5 (32:48):
Yes, billion, Yes.
Speaker 6 (32:52):
The Bus family is selling the Lakers, well majority ownership
of the Lakers to Mark Walter.
Speaker 7 (32:57):
If you has ten billing.
Speaker 5 (33:01):
Genie Bus, yes.
Speaker 7 (33:03):
B jonas ten billion dollars.
Speaker 6 (33:05):
Genie Buss is still going to be the franchise's team governor,
at least for the next couple of them.
Speaker 5 (33:10):
What is what is to do? Do you know what
is j? Morgan?
Speaker 7 (33:13):
He gets the third floor? Don't they live on different floors?
Speaker 4 (33:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (33:16):
So he gets the third floor or something like that.
Speaker 5 (33:18):
Okay, yeah, yeah, that's.
Speaker 7 (33:20):
What he gets.
Speaker 6 (33:20):
Uh, Pacers card tyres Haliburn is gonna be a game
time decision for Game six against the Thunder because of
that strained calf.
Speaker 7 (33:28):
Get.
Speaker 5 (33:29):
I don't know calf?
Speaker 7 (33:31):
How do you say calf?
Speaker 5 (33:33):
Small? It's a small cow calf?
Speaker 7 (33:36):
No, I was thinking calf. How would I say.
Speaker 6 (33:39):
Calf if I'm talking to my mom the inside of
your lower lege?
Speaker 5 (33:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (33:44):
No, I don't know how to say calf in Spanish?
Speaker 6 (33:46):
Guys, Okay, we're all learning something.
Speaker 5 (33:53):
That's No, those are pants.
Speaker 6 (33:54):
Miss sah I, I've never used that in my life.
Speaker 5 (33:56):
Said that is pants. That is panto riata.
Speaker 3 (34:02):
It says p a n t o double r I
double l A.
Speaker 7 (34:09):
Let me say caf.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
It's not that difficult caf in Spanish panto rias.
Speaker 7 (34:18):
Yeah, musculo, I said that.
Speaker 5 (34:23):
I was, I was on board pronunciation. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (34:27):
You said you saw Pantera two nights ago in concert.
I think that's what that was right there? Okay? Were
they were they across the street, because I wouldn't have
walked there.
Speaker 7 (34:35):
I don't believe the Internet'm gonna call my mom.
Speaker 1 (34:44):

Speaker 1 (36:27):
So no players are facing suspensions after the scuffles that
broke out in Tuesday's Connecticut Sun Indiana Fever game, including
one in the final minute that had three players get ejected.
Indiana guard Sophie Cunningham tackles Connecticut's Jacy Sheldon, who had
previously poked Caitlin Clark in the eye. Marina Maybrey then
(36:47):
does not get thrown out, but gets a flagrant foul
for forcefully bumping Caitlin Clark to the floor earlier in
the game. I'm sorry that does get upgraded to a
flagrant two and all of.
Speaker 3 (36:58):
The controversy today. I'm gonna zig where you think I'm
gonna zag on this right, because all of this today,
what's gonna happen. The officiating is not They're not doing
Caitlin Clark right with the officiating right, it's clearly everybody's out.
They have all kinds of stuff against her. You can't
have this go on now, would I'd like to see
this officiate a little bit differently?
Speaker 4 (37:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (37:19):
I don't think Caitlyn Clark deserved a technical foul for
what happened, but they gave her one. They upgraded the
teas today. Okay, I'm fine with it. But this is
where I understand the bad officiating. Okay, this is where
I made this a I understand the bad officiating when
it comes to Caitlin Clark.
Speaker 5 (37:36):
Right.
Speaker 3 (37:37):
I get what's going on with the WNBA because they
know they're fighting an issue where our best player is
not gonna be celebrated like Michael Jordan. And there is
a lot of anti our best player throughout the league
because of jealousy or whatever it is, or or if
it's a broken along racial terms, whatever it is. There
is a really bad disconnect between our player and some
(38:00):
teams and Caitlyn Clark. Meanwhile, she's bringing us everything we
ever want in the league. But still, oh no, no, no,
I don't like her.
Speaker 5 (38:06):
I don't like her.
Speaker 3 (38:07):
I'm jealous of her. Could that have been officiated differently, Yeah,
could have been. But it's difficult and I get what
the play what the officials are doing, because Caitlyn Clark
is an agitator. She's not just the most exciting player
in the WNBA and the biggest player in her sport
and the biggest star in sports right now. She's an agitator.
She likes to get into it, she likes to trash talk.
(38:27):
She will push you away from her, she will get
physical with you if she has to, so well, I
would precipitate it. It was saying, you know, you're not on
my level. I can do whatever I want and blank you.
Speaker 1 (38:37):
So that makes me Yeah, but physically she wants to
get it, which is where the where where the officials
have to understand this is where the line has to
be drawn, right, But she likes to get into it.
Speaker 5 (38:47):
She doesn't mind being physical. And the officials know.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
If we seem to be calling something and Caitlyn Clark
seems to be getting, what's a favorable call, that's gonna
light the rest of the league on fire.
Speaker 5 (38:58):
Oh, Caitlyn's get it.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
All these cars and the fallout is worse than people complaining. Oh,
Caitlin Clark's not getting officiated fairly. So what I think
is happening is this because I can offer you a solution.
The officials are looking at this fully, it's not all
of a sudden. These officials are bad. They don't know
what they're doing, but fully cognizant. I bet you they've
had meetings to talk to people. What does this rise
(39:20):
to do We need to make sure that these calls
are made where Caitlin Clark is completely in the clear.
Or can this be something where we can kind of
serve all masters and say, okay, hey, we punish the
players for this.
Speaker 5 (39:34):
They get technicals. Kaitlyn Clark is technical, and we.
Speaker 3 (39:36):
Move on from it, right, especially the end of the
game where the Fever are winning by twenty in the
game is over. I'm sure they look at every single
situation say do we need to do this, And the
minute it gets to a point where, hey, the Fever
could be getting could be at a disadvantage because of it,
or Kaitlyn Clark's a disadvantage, they'll call it the other way.
But when they don't have to, the fallout can be
(39:57):
worse for what happens. They know this going in. Instead
we get what we had last night, which I understand
why it was called the way it was. Yeah, I
still don't and watching it live and I agreed with
the announcers and we joked about it on air between
the Fever game and then going back to the Stanley
Cup final. That third goal that they eviscerated Skinner for
(40:19):
Skinner repeatedly like no, no, no, I get it. Your larger point,
I think is true as you're trying to make sure
you know they're superstar calls. And then there's you know,
affecting a game where it becomes touch fouls and getting
to the free throw line. See all the complaints about
the free throw Merchant as he's known Shay Giltess Alexander
(40:41):
partially maybe because of the the broadcast giving him that
nickname and keeping it. But all of that to say, yeah,
you're trying to figure out how to best adjudicate this
and keep it within reason.
Speaker 5 (40:53):
The rake of the eyes is an accident.
Speaker 3 (40:55):
Like she didn't say, Hey, you know what I'm gonna like,
go wolverine, deploy some claws and go scratch her eyes.
Speaker 5 (41:04):
I mean, people make it seem like she tried to
blind her.
Speaker 1 (41:08):
We'll have more on this story coming up next. Plus,
way do you find out what lebron said today? Take
a little bit of attention away from the ten billion
dollar Laker sale.
Speaker 5 (41:16):
Fox
