are now, with Week one of the NFL season put
to bed. It's a final. Sixteen teams are happy, sixteen
(01:14):
teams are un happy. This is how it goes.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Yeah, I mean happy ish because you get it. Still
lost and still felt like, all right, we're better off
than we Jets lost.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
I'm not happy. Even though the offense was terrific and
fields was great and member graded out as the best
offensive lineman in the NFL wet one from Pro Football Focus.
We got an l. We lost to Aaron bleeping Rogers.
Got to walk in and say, yeah, look at me.
I get to kick dirt and the Jets on my
way out of the league. That's great. When did they
become the Bible?
Speaker 2 (01:43):
That's that's my question in this when we talk about
rankis whatever, that's the one that gets sighted all the time,
like who named them?
Speaker 1 (01:50):
They became the Bible? Went went okay? So for me,
like when a Jet was number one lineman was rated
number one, we wouldn't talk about it, all right, that's fine.
I mean, you know, you're all so salty that Aaron Rodgers.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Okay, basically said I got great satisfaction.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Need anybody associated with the Jets? Yeah great, great, That's
why I'm just mad. And you gave up a lot
of man and oh well, but the Jets look at it.
There's a lot to talk about the Bills come to
town on Sunday. The Jets lose this game, they're owing
to you know what the odds are for teams owing
to making the playoffs? Two home games, we would have
lost already. So you tell me why I should feel.
Oh no, great here, that's why I love the still
(02:25):
in the playoffs. Yeah, for another two days until they're
not in the playoffs, because that's the way it's going to.
I tried, although I did. Carlos Mendoza after the game
tonight said no, we're gonna make it. We're fine, we
have to fight. We're gonna make it. I'm like, okay,
I like that. We're gonna make it. After all. I
don't agree, but okay, all right, I'm glad you're saying that. Yeah,
because I'm the one saying forget it's done, shut it down,
(02:46):
everybody go home.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
If he starts going the other way, I mean, that
would be an interesting tact for a manager.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Yeah, we're folding that. We're cooked. Man, you've seen us play.
You've been terrible for the last three months. I got
now that, we got desperate. We called up all these guys.
They're young. We said, they don't know what they don't know.
I mean, you know, we set a franchise record for
runs scored in the month of August. Like, we've never
scored more runs in a month in the franchise history
than we scored in August. We were eleven and seventeen.
(03:12):
That's how bad it was. One hundred and fifty three
the average over five runs a bleeping game in August,
and they were eleven and seventeen. Yeah, they were at
least entertaining. Just giving it away, just giving it which
can give it away, give it give it away, give
it away, give it away, give it away. So week,
one of the NFL two quarterbacks who we've talked about
more than any outside of Aaron Rodgers, Congratulations, Aaron Rodgers.
(03:33):
Good luck when you face a real defense. Whoa whoa,
whoa whoa whoa? Do I need to call rewind to
Friday outside of no, no, but except it was terrible.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
But on Friday when it was oh, they're gonna score
six points, they're gonna they're gonna do nothing, Aaron Rodgers
is gonna look every day of his forty seventy years.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Since was awful, except Sauce Gardner was terrific because he
followed DK Metcaltch. Of course it was awful. The only
pass Metcalf caught on Sauce Gardener was that ridiculous bouncy
pass where it bounced off a team in at the
end and bouncing when he was lying on the ground. That's,
I mean, a big play. But that's the only pass
he caught all day on Sauce Gardeners a line basically
(04:15):
left in the box. Only one yeah, and the other
forty three at bats were all L's right. So Sauce
Gardener was phenomenal. That one play ridiculous. Again, the difference.
Yet I know in the sixty yard field, I know,
I know, I know. You know he's a serial killer.
Two quarterbacks outside of Rogers that have been getting the
most attention the last twenty four to thirty six hours
(04:36):
Number one Daniel Jones, right, And I hate to say
I told you so, But there's a reason why in
the preseason we talked about it. Hey, you want a
real dark horse, crazy super Bowl bet in the AFC
where a team is like plus six to ten thousand,
the Colts, because Daniel Jones is gonna come in to
(04:57):
a team that has tons of weapons on offense. We
told this offense is absolutely loaded, and all Daniel Jones
has to do is continue to be or to find
where he was used to be. Josh Allen light and
deliver the football, make some plays with his legs when
he has to, and everything will be fine because the
Colts have terrific receivers. It's not just Pittman, right, Josh
(05:20):
Downs is probably the most talented receiver on the team.
Barely an afterthought, right, you had a big day from
Tyler Warren all of a sudden, he jumped in right away, going, hey,
I'm the Sam Laporta of this year, and you got
a couple of dudes. It can runs. Not just Jonathan
Taylor that can run the ball. They have tons of weapons,
and it helps when you play a team that's quit
on the season already and again has helped. But the
(05:43):
Colts clearly showed you that, hey, don't count us out
because that's a pretty good often now the defense they
may change in the offseason, so waiting to see how
good they are really because they said, you know, hey,
we were happy they made to a panic and maybe
the Coults are that surprise team, but I like them
coming in and I like Daniel Jones. They needed him
to come in and simply be Daniel Jones, like the
(06:03):
Vikings want JJ mccarthur. Come in and be the same
guy he was at Michigan. We're going to build a
sledgehammer offense. Make a play once in a while, and
that she did last night, right, made a play once
in a while in the second half. Daniel Jones come in,
deliver the football, make plays with the legs once in
a while. That's all. Run the offense. Be that machine
like offense, which is when Jones is at his best,
(06:23):
which was twenty twenty two. This was hey, all right,
Daniel Jones on his way up the next great quarterback
in the NFL. Now it didn't work out, the system
didn't work, and he winds up on the Colts. But
this is a team now that he's in a position
to succeed with this offense. There's a reason why they
picked him over Anthony Richardson because they easily could have said, okay,
a rich go out there and do it one more time.
If you don't work out the first three four weeks,
(06:44):
Daniel Jones is there as our insurance policy. But instead
Jones wins a battle that was close because the Colts
New and Shane Stike and neew this is the guy
that's going to make our offense hum and he made
it hum like crazy on something well.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
Stiken supposed to be the wizard, right, keep waiting for
that to come to fruition here. But you go back
and you look at Daniel Jones run with the Giants.
There's a lot of injury history that beset what might
have been decent, decent runs, So grades have incomplete for
a couple of the years. Certainly at times not overly dynamic,
(07:18):
but can make plays with his leg famously fell down
on a big play. But twenty twenty two, fifteen touchdowns,
five interceptions, quarterback raiding him about a ninety three thirty
two hundred passing yards and he completed two thirds of
his passes. Now that's the formula. You kind of look
at what he did against the Dolphins in Week one.
It'll be curious once he has to try to put
(07:40):
some air under the ball, which he didn't have to
do a bunch, it's going to be short and intermediate stuff,
much like we saw success for Caleb Williams in the
first half. And I kept raising my hand going take
the shot, take the shot. At least he wasn't making
the taking a sack early. But for Daniel Jones, right,
we have to take it with a grain of assault
from what the Dolphins are and look at their schedule
(08:00):
for the next five or six weeks, some of the
heavy hitters starting with Denver here in week two.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
Yeah, it's to get easier. Yeah, but this is a start.
This is the type of team they can be because
again they're really talented. They got four receivers that are
Alec Pearce is really good. He woind up starting over
Josh Downs on Sunday. This is a good this is
a good offense.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
So it's the curiosity of can you can you uncork
some of what was successful several years back, and you
certainly have enough playmakers here and the division is there
to go get it's in the margins against teams like
Denver and the Rams that they will face in the
next couple of weeks where we'll get to see what
they truly are.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
The other quarterback, Russell Wilson, is the change coming to
Jackson dart Well Brian Dable making the announcement yesterday that yeah,
Russell Wilson's gonna start again. I saw a lot of
of of people today saying, oh, you want to let
Russell Wilson start as long as you can before you
go to Jackson Dart, maybe even go to Jamis Winston. Yeah,
if you want, if you want Giants fans to un vault, uh,
(09:00):
you start Jameis Winston, then go back to Eli, then
bring in Peyton, then go back to Phil Sims. You
got any whye tittle references, Jeff Hostetler, you could still
Scott Brunner and Joe Pisarcik. I think Joe Pisarchik had
a mustache. I'm pretty sure he did. Grizzly Adams had
a beard, he did. He did. Danny a big long beard.
You couldn't get the chin strap over be very very difficult.
(09:20):
That would be tough. I mean, but Dan pulls it off. Yeah,
oh that's true. That's true. But Dan Haggerty had a
longer like zz top kind of beard. Danny Stayler used
to make it work. I don't think Kenny Stabler really
had his chin strap ever done. I think he was.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
I think he just he had that double buckle up
top and it actually went under the gin.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
I don't think he ever did that. That's fair. But
uh I, I understand the the philosophy of oh, you
want to put Jackson Dirt in when he's ready. First
of all, the guy looked ready in the preseason, and secondly,
he's a first round pick. Thirdly, I live in the
real world where the Giants nation and the team is
foaming at the mouth to get something good from the
(10:00):
quarterback spot. The minute they drafted Jackson Dart, Russell Wilson
turned into an afterthought who was only going to play
for a couple of weeks. Right, I get signing him
the beginning of the offseason. All right, we have somebody
to study the steady the boat. We don't know what
the season is gonna be. First round comes up. Hey,
guess what we can get Jackson Dart. All right, great,
we didn't know we're able to do that. And it's
an awesome situation. We have the guy that's gonna play
(10:20):
for a little bit. He's now a bridge quarterback to
Jackson Dart. We told you this change was gonna come
by October. First, the fact that Brian Dable was noncommittal
the day after opening Day and then had to say
oh yeah, yeah, no, no, we're going with We're going
with Russ. We're going with Russ the news earlier today,
We're going with Russ week two. This is absolutely happening
by the beginning of October because the offense is terrible.
(10:43):
The players are gonna quit and they need to know
there's some kind of hope coming. And here's your first
round quarterback that dazzled during the preseason. When he played
in the game, he was really good. When he played
in the joint practice, he was really good. Russell Wilson
is cooked. We know he is. He was awful on Sunday.
But I get that you want to start him a
little bit. Get Jackson Dart through a couple of weeks
of NFL preparation before you say it's your job. But
(11:06):
the but to go back, remember, Brian Dable and Joe
Shane want to have jobs next year. So the more
that Jackson Dart plays and the more they show that
they're the guys to shepherd him along that this team
is gonna be good, the better the chance they have
of being employed next year. So if you really think
that Brian Dable's gonna just tow the company line and
figure out, maybe we tank and we wind up with
(11:27):
Arch Manning. Boy, what a great story that would be
from Eli to Arch. Yeah, that's not happening. Jackson Dart's
gonna play. He's gonna play. He may play after this week.
They may say if things don't go right this week
for Russell Wilson, forget it. Man, you're cooked, because now
you're playing a team that's, oh, by the way down
their best defensive player. Because it's a pretty small story,
but we talked about it a little bit. Uh, you're
playing a team now that is gonna really really struggle.
(11:49):
You can't do it here. It's gonna be impossible to
not go to Jackson Dart. He will start by the
beginning of October. It may be after this week.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
Giants, Cowboys in that early window here week two. If
your NFL season h one thing with Russ was if
you go to the tape, Uh, several opportunities at the
moon Ball, you know, the thing he was supposed to
come in and give them to stretch the field, and
he was woefully short and problematic on every one of
those circumstances.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
So you got that.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
But I ask you this, in a couple of great
phraseology twists in our world. Uh, it's better to love
and have lost than to have never loved at all.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
That's poison. Yeah, so we got that. No, poison was
it's better to have lost in loved than never to
have been loved at all. That's poison. I won't forget
your babe, poison. Poison, poison, Yeah, exactly. Never never trust
the other.
Speaker 2 (12:41):
You know, better to be perceived an idiot than to
open your mouth and be proven. Oh yeah, so that's
what I wonder with Shane and Dabel, because if they
don't ever show you Jackson.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Dart, it's it's you know, hey, we need more time
with him. Did you just say canaan Abel? No, that's
all sh Shanon, Shane and Dable Tabel. He's going back
to the Bible, a biking.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
It's a biblical kind of thing right here, Shane and Dable,
if they don't actually show what Jackson Dart is, it's like, hey,
we we need more time. But if he goes out
there and he's bad, it becomes the uh, they're not
gonna be able to fix this guy. So, uh, we
might as well still pull the rip chord versus. It's
still an unknown so here's Jimmy Winston. You are gonna
(13:31):
know Giants fans there would be it would be an
empty stadium. It would look like it was during twenty
twenty when people didn't come because because the cardboard cutout
would be that we're not coming. If you're not starting
Jack people sat Jamas Winston.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
It sounds great in theory. We're gonna start to We're
not the Browns. Okay, we have a first round quarterback.
We're ready to see him play. It's okay, you can
put him out there. We're gonna see him. Get ready.

Fox Sports Radio, The Jason Smith Show with my best
friend Mike Harmon, What's in the Bag for Shark or something?
Show from the seventies, In search of Oh yeah, Search seventies.
What is that? Yeah? Sorry, I got to explained to millennials.
The nineteen seventies. Seventies show was a decade in which
television basically show was all in color. Wisconsini hanging out,
(17:17):
I used to st I used to love. In search a.
Leonard Nimoy was the host of Starbock Spock was find
Its Fine Well, they went in search of a lot.
It's one of those shows where they would go in
search of the lockness monster and talk about the the
pageantry behind it, did it really exist? And they would
(17:38):
show video or and interviews with people. So it's basically
one of those things where they're like MythBusters, except they
went and the whole thing with In Search of was
they left it open that maybe this could be real,
like that was the whole thing? Just no, But that
was example, like they went in search of Bigfoot. They
went and the and the theme to In Search of
I don't know why, but I have this this this
(18:00):
memory that the theme to In Search of was was
like Steve Miller band like ites dum like it was
like it sounded like one of the Steve song like
a Steve Miller band. Uh. And I have this uh
Jen Aaron Liner Big. Oh yeah, it's kind of uh
(18:23):
And because right now, I don't know what the most
shocking thing is about this story, but maybe it's this.
Nobody can find Philly's Karen. No one can find this
woman who has been viral for the past four days
for running up to a guy who grabbed a baseball
(18:44):
after Harrison Bader hit a home run a couple of
days ago, and and berated him and yelled at him
until he finally took the ball from his kid and
gave it to her to get her to leave.
Speaker 5 (18:53):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
An awful story because it was this kid had to
lose the ball, and this woman is wrong. She never
had the ball in the first place. That got gred
that she never had it in her hands. She never
had it the guy grad this is how you go
for a ball when you're at a game, when when
a home run is hit. And it turned out well
for the kid, obviously, because the kid got to meet
Harrison Bader, got his bat, he autographed his bat, he
got up, which is great, but still after the news today,
(19:19):
no one knows who she is. And the dad put
out a statement saying, listen, I want to caution Pete
looking for her, don't go crazy, don't don't find her
at work or whatever it is. Please please be good
when you know you know in search her, I know
people want to find her. And then you add a
card consignment company that offered her five thousand dollars for
(19:39):
the ball, but the catches. She just has to write
I'm sorry on the ball, and the company would give
the ball to the kid. I mean, clearly, if you're
going to go to that extent to get the ball
or the game, you're not giving it to a kid.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
Yeah, a little bit of a nod to the old
Pete Rose. I'm sorry. I bet on baseball signatures. He
had to do card company, one of these online breakers,
trying to get a little bit of juice, and it
ran pretty well for them, five thousand dollars, far more
than the free advertising.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
You know.
Speaker 1 (20:07):
Look, and there's two big takeaways in this. One is
that I still can't I can't believe this is Philadelphia.
This woman is famous. She is all insane orhamis everywhere,
every every online newspaper, every blog on social media. And
she's got a distinctive look. Right, she's got the blondish hair,
and she has the dark the dark close shaved on
(20:28):
the side the glass. There are pictures of her easy everywhere.
You know what, everybody knows what she looks like. Anytime
there's been something in the past where there's been an
event in the stands, where there's been a fight or
there's been a fight for a ball of some kind, Oh,
we need to find this person, they find that person
within a day, pretty fast. They find within a day.
(20:49):
Here's facial recognition. There's nobody that doesn't know who this
woman is. There's nobody that she knows that doesn't know
what happened, and yet she's not found. How has nobody
found her yet?
Speaker 2 (21:02):
Never read on your friends, and always keep your mouth shut.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
I mean, I'm trying it to think of it, well, like,
what what could possibly be a reason that she's not found? Now,
One would be that she's disappeared, in which she says, Okay,
this is really bad and I have to leave. But
judging by the person that she is, which is I'm
going to go up and beret a guy until he
gets the ball from his kid. I don't think she's
someone running and hiding, So I don't think that's the case.
So I don't think is there. My other point is
(21:27):
that she's got a really big job, and the people
that work for her are afraid that if if I'm
the leak boy, I wind up, you know, I could
lose my dog. Like I feel like she's that potentially's
gone underground for a bit. She'll re emerge with darker
hair and a full uh ass length main going on. Well,
I hope not, because now there's the Srosburg sent me
(21:50):
the picture today. Apparently there Now maybe there's a Halloween
costume where it's the Phillies jersey and the gold and
the and the blonde wig and the glass and the
ripped jeans, Like, yeah, you can buy it for five baseballs. Yeah,
I mean.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
There's no question that there will be derivative of that.
I mean with Halloween, h what just a scant seven
and a half weeks.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
Oh yeah, it's great costume spirit. Halloween's popping up and
where you go these days, you go to any story,
now you would think it was Halloween.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
No, this is true. This is absolutely true. But yeah,
it's it's that curiosity of what happened. A lot of
people have been misidentified on all different levels of social
media on.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
Two and not her that it's her. Yeah, two women.
It's like, no, hey, Jason, people think you're fireman Head
all the time. Well they do, but then they realized
I don't where the fire at the helmet all the time,
and you're not in shape yet. Dude, Come on, man,
you know I's felt that putting people on your shoulders?
Who I be the person on the person shoulders? Fireman
Head doesn't put people a game of chicken. You're the
guy on the shoulders.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Now.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
I used to be the one holding when I weighed more,
hoofs now that I weigh less. I'm the person on
the tip and Fireman had never held me, but he
was the guy that got Who don't know that. That's
how we started out. Hey, you gotta start it on
the bottom. Then you get to be the guy on
the shoulders. Okay, then you get to be that guy,
and when you get to the bottom, you go back
to the Ya. It's a big circle. So I really
(23:11):
and it's Philadelphia. It's not like they don't want to
find this woman. I mean, really, I don't understand how
she is. I want to say at large, I don't
understand she's not identified yet.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
The other part that that got crazy in all of
this and and her, the lack of identification here is
just I'm incredulous in twenty twenty five the way this
all works. But how many people went after the guys
like how do you give that ball up? How do
you do that?
Speaker 1 (23:35):
It's like, what was he gonna do? Hit her?
Speaker 2 (23:38):
Like, like what do you what are you advocating here?
I mean we have fights and stands all over the place. Yeah,
I guess to a degree he could have been obstinate
about it and fought it off as long as he could.
But what what was the end game there? Like she
wasn't going away.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
I gonna be honest with you, man, I mean there's
there's times when you see something happen and every and
and and they react to a video and people say, oh,
there's no way I would have done that. Man, if
you tried that with me, yeah, I'd have taught him
a lesson. It's like, dude, you're just talking. Shut up.
But that's a situation where, honestly, if I caught that
ball and I gave it to Zoe, and Zoe's sitting
(24:14):
there and this woman comes over yell at me. I'm
not taking that ball for and giving it to give
it to her. Yes, you would. No, I'm saying you
would have been scared. No, because I've had situation not
quite like this, but I've had situations. She was scary,
She was scary, and I get that he was a
little taken aback by her. But you are in a
situation where you're in a big stadium, everybody knows she's wrong,
security is coming. I just say this, I can say, Man,
(24:35):
go back to your seat. Man, go back to your seat.
Go back to your seat, ma'am, go back to your seat.
That this is your homework, just your homework life. You
ever heard of vietnamwork? You know what happens when you
tried it? Hey man, that's my card, that's my ball.
Do you know what happens when you tried it. That's
my car? Hey man, that's not his car. Man, Really,
(24:58):
there's no way I do that. On the way I
give that ball and.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
She thought the ball was her. You never touched it, no,
like it's not Hey, it landed in my section. You
didn't know in the section. It's if the guy came
over got the ball, you wanted to fight for it.
It's so awful of her to just go through that
and you got to get because I was leaning over.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
To get the ball and you grabbed it. You made
a half assed effort. He didn't catch it. He didn't
try to catch it.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
Wow, use your use your mits or bring a glove,
Not that I suggest that gloves.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Why not bring glove?
Speaker 2 (25:27):
Bring glove, but either way, you made no effort to
try to catch it. No, she tried it and then
it landed and he was faster. She never had in
her hands. It skipped around. Maybe she was reaching for
it. It was right there. She goes that that should be
my ball because I'm reaching for it.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
No, it's not right, it's not. But you know the
the other thing, and this is this is the serious part. Again.
I can't believe she's not No one knows who she
is yet, Jason. You ever been to the Philly Uh? Yes,
I've been to Philadelphi. That's why nobody knows where she is.
Everybody's trying to but they're all they're all trying to
find her for protecting her. And that kid who's protecting her,
they all had and swarmer to spend him. Well, yeah,
(26:07):
Zach Hampbell is protecting her. So wow, yeah, I see
you like that one.
Speaker 3 (26:11):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
If it becomes that, I mean, they'll go through that game.
But the other part is this, and this is the
serious part, is that because I get the dad putting
out the the uh the hey, be cool if you
see her, if you're an interview to find her who
she's be cooler?
Speaker 5 (26:29):
Right, right?
Speaker 1 (26:29):
I don't want anything to happen a bunch of little
Fonzie right and what's Phonsie cool? Correct? Window. But the
thing is like, if I'm her, I find a way
to be known, do an interview and tell my side
of the story. To take the temperature down, because this
is now four days later and this story is running hot,
like every day people want to know what's the update,
(26:51):
the update? Today the dad put out a statement the
company that said, hey, we'll pay you five grand for
the ball, but we got to get to give it
to her. You need to take the temperature down because
you don't want to all of a sudden get recognized
or someone find out who you are. And things get
out of control. As you see, things get out of
control pretty easy. And you have a large area of
the population that doesn't like you. Do it. Find out
(27:13):
who you want to talk to, find out the interview,
say what you want to say. Don't have to give
the bull, but take the temperature down at least where
people aren't looking for you. And it's like Frankenstein where
they're walking around with torches looking for this woman. Where
is a woman in the Phillies, Jersey with a baseball?
Where is she? Where is she? That's pretty good too.
I mean, who do you broke her with?
Speaker 2 (27:32):
It? Is it Hudson? Is it Barrymore? Is it is
it Clarkson? Who's who's the go to?
Speaker 1 (27:38):
Uh? Who do you go? Do you go to? Go to?
Speaker 4 (27:41):
You?
Speaker 1 (27:42):
Well, I would say she would be tailor made for Ellen,
but she's not on the air anymore and everybody hates her.
I would say, I would you know you do? I
would say, you go on? You go on either Good
Morning America or the Today Show. That's what you do
is you went on Good Morning America, right, so that
that's where you know, Flip, you will probably get the
(28:03):
most favorable coverage going on a morning, would you go
down the kitchen so you at least get fed. Mm oh,
I would demand food.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
Hang out with the sandwich guy and whatever, and I
want whatever you're cooking.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
I go on and I'll tell you stories. I'm gonna
tell you in the kitchen. Okay, nobody likes you. I
was trying to help them.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
You know.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
The way I think, like you're looking at at morning
TV is where, yes, you make your your your bones
as a big news person if you watch the morning show.
But that's generally it's a little bit of a lighter
atmosphere than you're going to get. If you're doing a
one on one interview with a Philadelphia reporter somewhere and
it comes out like you want to go national, maybe
you want to come on with us.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
I mean, where we got a YouTube channel that you
could be live and a living colors you can do
that true take it.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Come on right now. I'm on in Los Angeles one
hundred percent. Have her, Come on right now. Her and
the woman who voted for Florida in the ap pole
this year called We'll have you on. It'll be a
great experience for you. We'll ask you questions and let
you give your side of the story. There you go,
that's all reporter, Come on, you gotta but I mean,
really you need to do that, because it's it's not
(29:08):
gonna get any better. And could you risk a little
bit of blow more blowback? Yeah, but at least it
wouldn't be the frenzy that it is right now and
you have time now it's been four days. You want
to live your life normal, you know, say things like hey,
temporary insanity, or or I I I wanted the ball.
Whatever you say, some people will sort of understand you
(29:31):
a little bit where you want it. You want it
to be a case of okay, well, now if she
says her piece, then the story is over, right, because
then it's kind of over and we're onto other things
because right now, not finding her, it's like no one's
gonna rest until we find her, right like, no one. Okay,
we gotta find because we saw this is not like hey,
the guy that didn't vote for for Eachiero for the
(29:51):
Hall of Fame. There's no video of it, there's the anything.
It's it's he's an unmasked villain. Right when you don't
see the villain, it's kind of hard to get worked up.
Over it. But when you see the villain, Okay, I'm
worked up on this right, Okay, she's the villain. That's
not going away, right. Philly's Frostburg sent me the jip
yesterday of Willie Wonka when he got the golden ticket
(30:12):
and the woman is right in front of him. Yeah,
give me the golden Like, that's not going anywhere, man,
It's not.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
The fact that that became a thing. Right, Let's superimpose
her and all sorts of stuff.
Speaker 1 (30:23):
I mean, talk to somebody, I mean, talk to Hoe
of Kobe, go on the Today whatever it is, Good Morning,
a Marys at the Drinking Hour that they used to do,
Roy and Roberts whatever. Go talk, go on one of
those shows. Go on one of those shows and talk
to them. That's the best thing you can take. Newton Kickoff, yeah,
or the Big Nude Kickoff, Yeah, Live from Evanston, Illinois.
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
As the Oregon Ducks come to town, let's go. I
don't know, or is someone someone like it? You know,
it's been a week. Like she takes off the head
gear and she makes the pick. You know, Lee Corso
gives it. You know, does she have to have head
do that good toad, like the braces, like Lee.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
Corso not Hey, it's me. I'm Philly Karen. I'm making
that pick time. How to find out what's trending in
the wide world of sports. I'm special Delivery Steve de Seger,
who once took a ball from a kid in the outfield.
It was the Gibson home run, but he still took
it from him. He's got what's trend recognized. This TV
(31:22):
theme song's just in search of there it is. It
sounds like Steve billet Bans.
Speaker 5 (31:31):
In search of a win, Come on and dance. Sounds
like the seventies. Honestly, the forty nine ers are in
search of a kicker. They waved Jake Moody for the moment.
They've signed kicker Eddie Pinero. I guess he's gonna last
the season with him. Moody had been drafted in the
third round a couple of years ago. Clearlydj the forty
nine Ers were in the Moody to make a change
(31:51):
of kicker. Oh they did. Forty nine Er fans were
in the moody long before today. Forty nine Ers plays
tighter George Kittle, an injured reserve with his bad hamstring,
so he'll miss at least four games. Wide receiver Juwan
Jennings of San Francisco is day to day with a
shoulder injury. His scans came back clean. The league will
not suspend Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter further for spitting
last week, having already missed the opener. He forfeits one
(32:14):
game check. The NFL counts being thrown out before playing
as a one game suspension. The Steelers signed safety Jabul Peppers,
Atlantis sign kicker John Parker Romo to the practice squad,
and Green Bay gave wide receiver Christian Watson a one
year extension. He's recovering from a torn acl The Chicago
Bulls re signed guard Josh Guiney to a four year deal.
(32:34):
Where the one hundred million dollars Grease won its EuroBasket
quarterfinal today Janisantenacumpo twenty nine points in thirty two minutes
beat Lithuania Jonas Valenschunis in the lost twenty four points.
Speaker 1 (32:46):
So TJ. Grease took the pressure and they threw away conventionality, yes,
belonging to yesterday.
Speaker 5 (32:53):
In this turn it which you could say Grease is
the Word. They won their previous game with Giannis, getting
thirty seven points. Last Saturday, Finland had upset Nicola Jokicic's
Serbia team. Shane Larkin scored thirteen points for Turkey. Today's
from the University of miamis son of Barry Larkin. At
Turkey beat Poland Alpa and Schengun of the Rockets at
(33:13):
nineteen Slovenia's quarterfinal with Luka Donsich's Wednesday against Germany. Luca
last Sunday against Italy had forty two points as they
advanced on free throws. He was fifteen of sixteen. The
WNBA regular season ends Thursday. Seattle clinched the last playoff
spot tonight with a home win seventy four to seventy
three over Golden State. Las Vegas won its fifteenth straight
(33:34):
game ninety two to sixty one over Chicago. As a
record of ten and thirty three wins for Indiana and
LA New York b Washington, the Mystics have lost ten
in a row. US men's soccer defeated Japan two nothing
in an exhibition in Columbus, Ohio. To baseball, the Giants
have won thirteen of sixteen. They beat Arizona five to three.
(33:54):
The Giants are only two games out of the last
NL wildcard and the Reds are only three backs. Cincinnati
with a record of seventy three and seventy two four
to two winners at San Diego with a two run
homer in the ninth, Padres had only three hits. Padres
now two games back of the first place Dodgers in
the nlst labat Colorado, seven to two, two homers for
(34:15):
the slumping taoscar hernandez Emmitt Sheen with the win, nine
strikeouts and seven innings. Colorado's record forty and one oh five.
Boston took the late game six nothing over the A's
in his major league debut. Connerley Early got the win,
five scoreless innings, eleven strikeouts. Still waiting to see Eraaldas
Chapman pitch this week. The Red Sox closer has retired
(34:37):
fifty straight batters since late July. The Yankees were ahead,
but wound up losing twelve to two to Detroit, giving
up nine runs in the seventh. Aaron Judge did in
his forty fourth homer Toronto with a tenth inning comeback
win four to three over Houston. Houston's first in the AOS,
but just one game over the Mariners, two and a
half up on Texas. Seattle and Texas each one one
(35:00):
Cubs gotta win. Cleveland won their fifth straight and Philadelphia
beat the Mets nine to three. Kyle Schwarber with his
fiftieth homer of the year. Ranger Suarez twelve and six
got the win with twelve strikeouts in his six scoreless innings.
The loss to Sean Mania the Phillies nine games over
the Mets in the NL standings.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
Back to you, Thank you, Steve O. Now you know
how Bourban would do the Jake Moody story. Now this
is how he would have to. Okay, hit me and
a change at kicker Today for San Francisco, the forty
nine ers showing they were plenty mad eye at Moody.
J tastes like goblin. You have to find another place
(35:38):
to put Jock. Join on, mister Finigan.
