and I love putting this content out for you every

and really the best thing we can say is we
don't know when he's going to pitch again. He's scheduled
to pitch in Seattle next week. But who knows is
(01:13):
he gonna start in the playoffs. Who knows is he
gonna relieve in the playoffs. Maybe, But where we sit
right now, Kershaw has been in trouble in every inning
for the Dodgers, and the Giants lead it right now
two to one, so he's been able to limit the
damage two to one. Middle of thirty eight Dodgers coming
up again. This the final at least regular season start
(01:35):
in the career of Clayton Kershaw. It is Joe Davis
Bobblehead Night at the stadium tonight, and it will be
Clayton Kershaw Bobblehead Day tomorrow. They couldn't flip them. They
couldn't say, hey, take the Kershaw once. I mean, really,
just we're gonna give you this instead, we'll give Joe
Davis tomorrow. I think you do that.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Could you have given them just a coupon for a
future Clayton Kershaw bobblehead so kind.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Of like I'm glad you pay you tuesday for a
Hamburger today.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
Well, I mean, just if you want to go down
that road, because I mean, look, you can't give the
people the ones from tomorrow like, you just can't do it.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Now you're chaos. Nah, you can't.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
What if you had a bunch of people that came
because it was Joe Davis bobblehead Day, Now they're pissed
you really?
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Okay? Outside of Joe Davis to play by play guy
for the Dodgers, outside of Joe Davis's family, who we
could probably get bobbleheads for if he really wanted to.
Who was coming to that game for a Joe Davis bubblehead.
Wait a minute, I don't want the Kershaw. No, I
don't want that. No, No, I want the Joe Davis one.
(02:37):
And I'm not leaving until you go get me a
Joe Davis bobblehead.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
Well, I mean I bought part of my ticket package
or maybe for this individual date. I cleared my schedule
and I was like, it's Joe Davis bobblehead. I like
listening to Joe Davis call a game.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
I have all forty bobbleheads. I want the forty eighth
and final one I got. I got all of them.
Now come back on Saturday. It'll be there for you.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Or you do a thing where it's like, all right,
here's a coupon for a special Clayton Kershak commemorative item,
and then you have a giveaway and a parking lot
after the season's over.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
I don't know. Hey, it fell off a truck. Yeah,
it fell off a truck.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Whoa, whoa, whoa?
Speaker 1 (03:18):
How dare you? You follow this truck to the end
of the road. Then I get out the back and
maybe I hand you something and you hand me something
and you walk away, and that's how it works.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Hey, we have had promotional items go missing in the past.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
There's no question about there. Well, man, maybe you really
give away forty Maybe maybe once you'll bring us in
all these different bobbleheads. Next week, she would.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Suddenly there's a giant palette that she comes walking in with.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
You know which one you need? Everybody, Here you go,
Here you go, Here you go. I still got all
those leftover kik hernandez ones, right, we got a ton
of those leftover. No, No, he's a popular guy. He
did very well.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
Yeah, that's just secondary market value, at least in the
city of Los Angeles, holds up quite well to Clayton Kershaw's, okay,
because there's going to be fewer of those than the
Clinton Kershaw bobble hits. I don't think they've had like
forty seven Key k Hernandez bobblehead dates.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
To tell me, to tell do me a favor, to
be a favorite, because you always talk about monetizing it.
Tell me what the difference is on eBay. If I
want to buy a Key k Hernandez bobblehead tall then
if I want to buy a Clayton Kershaw bobblehead doll,
tell me what the difference is on that one.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
But that's again the difference between I don't think there's
just a lot of general issue. Hey, these guys have
a license for you know, making a bobblehead, foco or
whatever the company may be, to where you you have,
you know, just hey, here's your major League goll stars
and here's a Clayton Kershaw. Whereas Key Hernandez. Pretty sure
(04:50):
most of what you're getting are the stadium giveaways. So
there's a limited note from them. Let's see sixty five
bucks for Key k Hernandez for the one that was
given away just what a week or two ago, and
now looking up our guy Clayton Kershaw. Listen, there's gonna
be many, because here's one, right now there's fifty bucks.
(05:12):
There's the three thousand strikeout one. There's a picture of
some guys trying to get like two hundred and fifty dollars. Yeah,
it's just crazy. There's another SGA new in box, forty
five dollars of those.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
I don't want an I don't want an SGA one.
We're talking, I mean, I'll get no one. But I
mean that's the company.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
SGA is actually the company not I know, its Justes Alexander.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
All the points you just made, we had. We had
to dump you when you said foco because I don't
know that you could say that. So all those points
you made, no one hurt it.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Yeah, but that's where I got my cool chef's hat
that we're gonna do bits with.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yeah, I got my chef's thatt up. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
I mean, here's a twenty seventeen Clayton Kershaw bobblehead where
he's hitting, and it was from twenty seventeen.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
It's thirty dollars. Yeah, but he's hitting. I mean, come on,
he's head. There's another one it's forty. I mean, there's
a lot of Clayton kershop on the market is flooded
with Kershaw babble it so again to to one Kershaw
on the short end of this one. So far but
still bottle of the third ning Dodgers Giants. This game
huge playoff ramifications for the Giants trying to stay in
(06:16):
striking distance of that final wildcard. So as we get said,
it is football Friday. Looking ahead, we'll preview to a
couple of the biggest college football games coming up later
on this hour and then next hour. Pete feu Tac
stops by two teams right now going into big games
this weekend on Sunday that I'm out on. Okay, I'm
just out on and the first team I'm out on.
(06:39):
I'm out on the Steelers. I'm out the Steelers. You know,
for all this talk, oh the Steelers, the Steelers might
be awful. Okay, just think about sure, the Steelers might
be awful. They're just escaping over the Jets last week
after watching what the Bills did to the Jets on
Sunday when they ran five plays offensively and stayed in
(07:00):
a base defense for all four quarters. Because the Jets
are just inept like suddenly, the Steelers escaping in that
game because I got a sixty yard field goal on
the road, like that might be Aaron Rodgers big highlight
with the Steelers. That might be the best thing. Hey,
at least I got revenge over the Jets before he realized,
oh man, we're really really bad, Like they really might
(07:21):
not be good. They might be terrible this year. I'm
out on them. They got worked by Justin Fields, who
completed two passes and had one hundred yards of offense
last week before he got hurt. Sam Darnold worked them.
I really the Steelers, they just don't strike me as hey,
we're gonna be able to be dynamic and do what
we need to do. And honestly, the Steelers should have
lost the Jets if they could catch a pick six
(07:43):
when Rogers going back to pass trying to throw it
into the flat, and you had Brandon Stevens dropping a
shore pick six, which is you can't have that happen.
Like they should have lost that game too. This should
be an zero to two Steelers team. They might stink.
I'm out on the Steelers. They're gonna go into this
game in New England and you think, okay, well, the
Pages they have some problems here. No Patriots won last
week in Miami in a thousand degree heat. They get
(08:05):
the win over the Steelers. This week they dropped to
one and two. I'm not in on Jalen Warren. I'm
not in on the offense. The Steelers may be really
bad this season. They might stink. And just because of
the difference between Week one with the Jets and week
two what you saw with common opponents, Man, I mean,
it's hard for me to see the Steelers are gonna
be really good.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Yeah, it's it's difficult in that you don't really see
anything in terms of creating balance because the run game's
futrid to this point, Warren and gain Well with two
carries from Caleb Johnson, who probably doesn't see the field
this week, they're averaging three yards to carry at this point.
It's a dismal effort that way. The defense for all
(08:46):
of the high priced talking and you know, the hold
in and all that other nonsense. Ah, here's some extra
millions for you. They look like they got old overnight.
So already had anticipated this was gonna be a rough
ride to get to a nine and eight season to
keep that streak alive for Mike Tomlin. But it looks
(09:06):
even worse, right as we look at the way this
squad shakes out, DK metcalf a lot of his work
is done with the deep ball.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Can Aaron Rodgers deliver anymore? Tight ends are? Okay?
Speaker 3 (09:19):
I mean John news Smith and Pat Fryermouth are gonna
have to become your your biggest receiving options out of
this your current leader in terms of yardage the aforementioned
Jalen Warren hot route, and see what you can do.
That's not winning football as much as if you can
keep it close. Yeah, you got a guy that's got
super toe. But eventually the winds start swirling and things
(09:42):
start happening in those stadiums that we're talking about in
the AFC North, so that margin for error just isn't there.
But it'll be a fun fun watch. I mean to
see people melt down over time.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
And and if.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
Aaron Rodgers struggles, whether you call for you know, replacements, Yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Mean, look, what did I tell you? Aaron Rodgers has
to understand the possibility is real that in December he's
watching Will Howard quarterback this team right like that that
because because here's the thing, Rogers will be okay enough
for a while, but he'll run out of steam and
then it's gonna be, oh, man, I don't know what
we have left. It'll be kind of the reversal last year.
(10:22):
Or it took him a while to have that one
last run the last half of the season when he
looked like a halfway decent quarterback. But now at this point,
I mean, really, he'll He'll have some games where he
looks okay. The Jets made him look like a star.
It was more in line with what he was last
week against the team's defenses. Okay, And that's just gonna
(10:42):
be the way it is, Like, he'll look okay sometimes,
but as a season goes on, it's gonna be Man,
this is it for Rogers. He's done after this season,
and in December, we may want to get a look
at Will Howard right like that. That's the big question
is does Mike Tomlin say, no, we can't let we
can't let Aaron Rodgers end his career on the bench.
I'm not gonna be that coach if we're not going
to the playoffs, I'm gonna go out with him. Or
(11:03):
does he say, hey, let's see what the kid has,
because who knows if he winds up having a place
for this next season, like that's gonna wind up being
the big thing for the Steelers.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Yeah, I mean, what's he gonna worry about him coming
back and having a revenge game because he hates you.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Who's gonna pick him up? Go get it?
Speaker 3 (11:18):
Howard currently on ir with that broken finger, But he'll
be back. He'll be back strength to schedule, Pittsburgh tied
for the ninth hardest schedule remaining them and the Panthers.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
The other team I'm out on right now. And it's
weird because I had such great because I had ha
ha hopes for I had such high hopes for them
coming into this season, but now they're gonna fall to
zero to three. I'm out on the Texans. I'm out
on them right now. You're finally listening to me. Two
tough games to start the season. I'm not. You know.
(11:53):
I can't sit here and say, oh my goodness, they
lost to the Jets and the Raiders, two tough games
to start the season. I get that. But this offense
has mega problems Mega. They're not nearly the team they
used to be. They don't have anybody that really scares
you wide receiver wise, outside of Nico Collins. And he's
not someone that's gonna suddenly demand all the attention and
(12:13):
still dominate. He's not justin Jefferson. They have a lot
of question marks. How long Nick Chubb has run the football. Okay,
so far he had one touchdown run, He's had one
highlight run and that's been it. This is an offense.
This is not the same team they were when they
were on the cusp of being a great breakthrough team
a couple of years ago. And the other thing is
(12:34):
the Jaguars have really figured out their identity. Right. They
make the big they trade Tank Bigsby, which was wait
a minute, well how do you trade this guy? We
don't you know? He could be your number one running back?
Uh Ah? Between Ettn and Tooton, they know what they're
doing and they can run the football really, really well. Right.
The fact that you make that trade so soon after
(12:55):
the season begins tells you we know what we want
our running back room to be. We know we can
run the football, and the Jaguars do it terrifically. Yes, offensively,
throwing the football. It's still a working but Trevor Lawrence
has been a work in progress for five years now.
This is kind of who he is. Oh, we can't
get the ball to Travis Hunter as much got to
get the ball to Brian Thomas Moore. Yes, yes, Parker
Washington is suddenly seventy five yards. I get it. But
(13:18):
they have now changed their identity a bit too. This
is a sledgehammer team. They run the football great, their
offensive line is really good. They made moves there in
the offseason to make it better. This is their identity,
what they want to be. They run all over the
Texans and they send them to a shocking zero to
three start.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
Oh look at that. Now you turned on their defense.
I'm all you even gave me a little coach beard excited.
Well noise down there. Yeah, making the deal to get
rid of Bigsby Howie Roseman getting ahead of the market
in the running back slot.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
I dig that.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
But the fact that you trusted that toot and he's
at four point eight yards per carrying limited work and
etn who's been most of the time.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
I think he would go into that disappointment category, would
he not?
Speaker 3 (14:05):
In terms of what he's been to this point, even
with a couple of thousand yard seasons in his back pocket,
never truly the breakthrough but taking advantage of the schedule.
And this is where I turn it back, at least
for a moment with the Jaguars. So the Panthers in
the Bengals, and you know, lost to the Bengals, lost
to Jack Browning. So you got that with Let's go
(14:30):
back to the Texans for a second. Love the defensive front,
Love the secondary. We talked about, all right, can you
cover pass catchers over the middle of the linebackers? There
a little bit of struggle there, a little longer in
the tooth as we watch that happen. So we've got
that concern. Eventually you'll get Joe Mixon back a couple
more weeks for him, the offensive line will continue to
(14:52):
be a problem. And now you're still waiting whether it's
Higgins or someone else gonna take a step forward alongside
Niko Collins in that wide receiving corps, Dalton Schultz right
now your second most available back wide receiver for you.
Thinking about the running backs, though, Nick Chubb that touchdown
was much debated late in that game.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
It's like, did they let him score? Yeah? Yeah, it
looked really yeah yeah, they say they let him score, right,
they say, ah, yeah, yeah, Okay.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
Because otherwise he'd basically been falling forward. He's about six
feet tall. Yeah, maybe one little bounce, so six feet plus.
Maybe add the seventh So there you go two point
something yards per carry, So maybe we get a little
bit back in balance for there. For Houston, they get
no favors though they have the third hardest schedule remaining.
(15:42):
And I know we're only going into week three, but
you look at what's their easiest opponent. You've got two
against the Titans. The other team that's listed as easy
opponent as the Chiefs.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
To tell you where their schedule is for the rest
of the season, they're only two. Oh yeah, but the
Chiefs said, Nah, doesn't matter. That doesn't matter. It's the Chiefs.
It's the Chiefs. Exit out about a Fresca exit swollen
down the Jason Smith Show with my best friend Mike
Carver again. Two teams I'm out on right now. A
shocking zero to three there and the Steelers may wind
(16:16):
up being really bad. Uh, don't forget if you miss

Right now, Mike, didn't you tell me tonight? Hey, Iowa
Rutgers take the under? Both these defenses are phenomenal. You
tell me you said take the under? Well, I thought
it was gonna be a field goal game, absolutely big Well, yeah, Iowa,
(18:22):
you figure that. But Iowa has thirty eight points. They
have more points tonight than they have in the last
two and a half seasons. Combine that sounds about right.
Thirty eight to twenty eight day lead Rutgers right now,
game on Big Fox. Meanwhile, Clayton Kershaw what could be
the final start of his MLB career. He scheduled to
(18:43):
start next week in Seattle, but who knows, Maybe he
starts in the playoffs, maybe he doesn't. But his final night,
at least at Dodger Stadium, he trails the Giants. Right now,
Dodgers trail two to one. Dodgers batting in the bottom
of the fourth inning, Kershaw already up to eight six pitches,
So likely because look, he's good, Mike. He's gonna pitch
(19:04):
again right somewhere in the playoffs. Is he gonna start,
We don't know, but you know he's gonna pitch. Maybe
one more inning for Clayton Kershaw coming out to get
through five against the Giants and that'll be it. But again,
still trailing the Giants right now, two to one is
a Dodger's bat in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
Looks really humid there at Dodger Stadium. A lot of
sweat pouring from the brows of these hurlers as they're
out there. Look he's battled through, I mean, only giving
up two runs thus far, and the leadoff home run
that we talked about right off the jump to Ramos.
So the fact that he's battled to this point a
tip of the cap, but looking for a little bit
of run support. Get those rally caps out, find a
(19:42):
rally monkey or an animal if you're choosing well.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
And you know also too, Kershaw's very very emotional tonight
as well, so you know he's gonna get that adrenaline
burst early. That's gonna hit you of course later. So
you wonder now at eighty six pitches and you know
end with that, you know, the the end of that
adrenaline rush. I really I feel next inning, next inning
could be the last time you see Clayton Kershaw ever
(20:07):
pitch at Dodger Stadium, Like maybe it's the last time
he pitches until the he comes into relief in the playoffs, mates,
the last time he comes off the mount as a starter,
Like all these lasts are out there for him. Man,
that could absolutely happen.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
Yeah, Freddie Freeman just struck out. And this side view
camera they had of this crew right behind the maybe
the third row there. Their reaction was like it was
a game ender. I don't know if they had had
a wager on dude.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
To come up with a big hit. Everybody else like,
oh that's too bad, he's got exit out about a
fresca exit swalling down the Jason Smiths with Mike Carments again,
we'll lot more baseball on the way tonight again, this
game meaning everything for the Giants is they're chase for
the final playoff spot in the National League. They absolutely
(20:57):
need to win here tonight. Look these teams, Let I
gotta say this, these teams chasing the Mets. Now, if
the Mets go, the Mets have eight games left. If
they go four and four, everybody else has to go
eight and two. You know, these last these last ten games,
less nine to ten games to make the playoffs, which
tells you just where you're at. So every game, you know,
(21:17):
the Giants, the Diamondbacks, they lose like every game could
be one of those. Hey, that's a fork in our
season because not only do we have to go eight
and two most likely, but we have to overcome three teams, right,
So it's hard to leap frog all of that. So
that's why these games tonight, tonight tomorrow, especially Giants and
the d Backs, are such huge games in Major League Baseball.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
Fortunately, you'll be able to watch all those games on
services other than one proprietary spot.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
Oh come on, man, listen, apple Ty, we have more
tog No.
Speaker 3 (21:47):
I was just saying, people have wide availability for the
final stretch run, what with all the greatness that you
just talked about in every game meaning something. But I
wasn't trying to be sarcastic and shows that's.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
Not unbranded at all. No, that's not you at all. No, no, no,
you are absolutely non snarky and not not positivity. I know, yes, yes,
always the children, what about the children? All the children? Now,
three big games in the NFL this week, Like, look,
a lot of big games, a lot of stuff to
get you. You are upset. Special picks coming up in
(22:23):
a bit. But we talked about two of the most
high profile games last hour. The third one Rams and
the Eagles. Right here you are this big rematch where
the Rams clearly were the team that came the closest
to beating the Eagles in the playoffs last year, and
here they are now. And I'll tell you what, I'll
take the Rams in this one because the Eagles so
(22:45):
far they haven't looked great. And it's not anything that
I think the Eagles are suddenly bad. This is the
Eagles have to find their way after you win the
Super Bowl, right that this is, this is what happens,
not that they're bored, but you come off of that,
you have to find your They've done enough to win,
you know, look that Dallas gave him a little bit
(23:05):
of a scare, and look at that game. Would have
been different if Jalen Carter doesn't spit at Dak Prescott.
But this is how it went. And they're doing enough.
They beat the Chiefs. They do enough to beat the Chiefs.
They've had a couple of nice wins. The Rams are
finding ways. And I don't care how the Rams win
early in the season. They just have to win because
the last couple of years has been the same thing. Boy,
(23:26):
they look terrible the first half of the season. Maybe
they fall out of it and they're gonna start over
next year and then staff it in the offense catch fire,
and all of a sudden, the Rams are the best
team in the NFC the back half of the year.
The fact they are stacking wins, now, that's all they
need to do. Find ways, stack wins. Right, because you
want to play those playoff games at home. Right left.
I'm sure Sean McVay goes to bed every night going, man,
(23:47):
we had to play that game in Philadelphia, the end
of the year. Last year we had that last drive.
It was too tough. We want to play at home.
Every win they can stack at the beginning of the
season is awesome for them. I have them in the
NFC Championship game again. It's a big revenge game for them.
I'll take the Rams, I'll take the under and a
(24:08):
late defensive stand for them to win because the Rams
defense is one of the top three units in the NFL. Yes,
the Broncos get a lot of attention. We talked about
how good the Texans and front defensive line defensive backs are,
but this Rams defense is absolutely legit. It's one of
the NFL's best. They've been great so far. They continue
on here with the Eagles offense that's still trying to
(24:30):
get out of its own way. And I'll give you
this Bowl prediction, Mike Harmon, less than sixty yards rushing
for Saquon Barkley twenty five has already been harder sledding.
And when you come off of six hundred and seventy
five touches last year, like Barkley did, you're gonna get
a bit of a downtick. It's always the case for
any running back coming off a heavy usage year like
that of four hundred touches when you count the playoffs in,
(24:53):
it's gonna be harder sledding. It's been tough sledding so
far for Barkley. That's going to continue. The Rams continue
that tough sledding for Barkley under sixty yards or him,
the RAMS and the under and the RAMS suddenly look
like we're talking. Wait a minute, maybe we get a
RAMS charge of Super Bowl coming up this winter. Oh maybe. Well, see,
this is.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
Where it gets really fun, right, is that we go
back to Week one, the Houston Texans, a lot of
expectations and hey, they're gonna go.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
And win the division.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
Well maybe they're not great, but we expected a slug
fest and that one and that's exactly what we got.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
What fourteen to nine your final? Okay? Fine, Then they
go to Tennessee.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
No grade shakes, but it takes a while before they
shake free and eventually win. Going away, this one did
the big tests for this defense to get after it.
What I've been trying to find is a prop bet
as to whether a penalty will get called on a
toush push. I have not whether it be over under
is out of half, Like, what kind of odds I
could get? So calls and texts out to all of
(25:54):
our luminaries Eagles with three and a half point favorites
at home forty four and a half the toe on
this one. I agree with you. I think points will
be at a premium. The big question for me is
for the Eagles trying to re establish an identity. Right
We talked about it a lot yesterday related to the
Buffalo Bills spreading the ball around right, Allen completing passes
(26:15):
to nine different guys, and we talked about it a
little bit earlier in the week. Jalen hurts, right now,
you've had eight tush push attempts and three passes that
have had more than ten air yards to them. That's
not long term success man, that viability, particularly if the
tush push becomes a little bit more of less of
(26:37):
a certainty right where it's been at that ninety seven
percent success rate, Where all of a sudden we start
to see that dip because of a penalty, because of
alignment issues and they're not firing the same way.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
It'll be curious to see.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Not that hurts a skipping leg day along the way,
but toughslog for Barkley has certainly shorted some of his
fantasy projections for the year, not only for hurt stealing
touchdown totals, but just that they'd back him off because again,
you need him at his best come January, because you
know you're gonna make the dance Rams on the road.
(27:12):
I think the Eagles win it, but give me the
Rams plus the hook. Yeah, three and a half's plays here.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
If it was two and a half, would you take
the Eagles? No? Okay, all right, all right, you're more
in the No. Actually, if it was two and a half,
I would yeah, okay, okay, okay, yeah, oh okay. I
thought you were more in on the Rams and you
said you are there. Okay, No, no, No, I am in
on the Rams. I certainly am. There's no question about it.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
And certainly there's been a lot of chatter you and
I over these the discord of this offseason. And Matthew Stafford,
I mean, he's gonna be in bold and coming out
of his appearance at this Clayton Kershaw Farewell game, well.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
He has to come up big. He went to high
school with Clayton Kershaw. He's got to come up If
this is Kershaw his last start as a Dodger, I mean,
come on, he's got to come up big on Sunday.
If he doesn't, I mean, come on, Wow.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
Like I saw him, he was disheveled and you know
the gray Beard and everything's like, look, how old you've become.
I need you to re energize, steal the energy. Kershaw
doesn't need it anymore. He's leaving the game. Go take
it from him.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
Exit out about a Fresca exit swalling down the Jason

How to find out what's trending right now in the
wide world of sports from the possible Last Clayton Kershaw
Night at Dodger Stadium on the Hill on the top
of the fifth inning, special delivery Steve the Saga has
the latest right now with what's trending.
Speaker 5 (28:37):
Huge ovation for Kershaw, just coming off the mound in
LA with the Dodgers down two to one to San
Francisco in the top of the fifth Kershaw right now
in the dugout individually, greeting all his teammates and coaches.
Kershaw went four and a third two runs allowed, including
the leadoff homer tonight, six strikeouts, four walks. They left
him in to face the lefty Rafael Devers to lead
(28:59):
off the fifth. He got a strikeout and then the
large ovation coming off the mound ending it. This could
be his last start ever in LA. He will retire shortly.
Kershaw and the Dodgers down two to one in the fifth.
The Padres have already lost LA. First place in the
NLS started the day three games over. The Padres. San
Diego was beaten four to three at Chicago by the
(29:20):
White Sox, who had lost six in a row. And
as we speak, Kershaw coming back out of the dugout
for the curtain call, as everyone is standing at Dodger
Stadium and cheering this soon to be Hall of Famer.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
I really thought you were gonna say, Kershaw coming back
out of the dugout. He's told Dave Roberts, like Blake Snell,
I'm staying in the game, and he's going back out
to the mound and Henriquez will have to go back
and make that trudge all the way back to the bullpit.
Speaker 5 (29:47):
No, although I didn't hear it, I'm sure Blake Snell's
comment this week was oh so Kevin Cash is not
my manager. I actually got to stay on the mount
in a Dodger game. We do have two other contests
going on. The Marlins in the top of the twelfth
now lead at Texas six to three, and the Phillies
have taken a three to two lead at Arizona in
(30:08):
the top of the seventh Walker Bueller on a relief
for the Phillies. Seattle is alone and first in the
AL westa game over Houston after winning four nothing against
the Stros Ems hit four solo homers. Houston had only
three hits in the game. Winning pitcher Brian Woo fifteen
and seven for Seattle. He had five scoreless innings seven strikeouts,
(30:28):
but left with what was called pectoral tightness. Cleveland has
won again. That's eight victories in a row. After a
six to two win at Minnesota. Cleveland's still a game
and a half out of the last AL wild card
behind Boston, which won eleven to seven at Tampa Bay.
But look how close the AL Central standings are now.
The Tigers lead, which week and a half ago, is
(30:49):
nine and a half. It's down to two and a
half games over the Guardians. Detroit was beaten at home
ten to one by the Atlanta Braves. The loss to
Charlie Morton Tigers have lost seven of eight. They'll be
playing at Cleveland starting Tuesday. Yankees lost four two at Baltimore.
Toronto lost twenty to one at Kansas City. Blue Jays
first in the ALA, still three games up on the Yanks.
(31:11):
Net speed Washington twelve to six. Cincinnati was a seven
to four winner over the Cubs, and Milwaukee was beaten
seven to one at Saint Louis. Commander's quarterback Jaden Daniels
is out this weekend with a sprain knee. The forty
nine Ers are due to start quarterback Mac Jones again
with Brock Perty injured. Bengals QB Joe Burrow had his
toe surgery. He could miss three months. Reportedly, Minnesota quarterback
(31:35):
JJ McCarthy is officially out with the bad ankle. The
Bengals are at Minnesota this weekend. Jets QB Justin Fields
is officially out with a concussion. The Falcons released kicker
Young Wayku and gave kicker Parker Romo a two year deal.
The two college football games are each finals now tonight
on Fox TV Iowa, with two touchdowns in the last
(31:55):
six minutes won at Rutgers thirty eight twenty eight, and
Tulsa was ahead of Oklahoma State nineteen to three to
start the fourth quarter. Nineteen twelve, the final and the
WNBA Playoffs first round is over. New York is out,
Phoenix at home beat the New York Liberties seventy nine
seventy three, and the Giants are out. In the top
of the fifth inning, we can update it. It's two to
one San Francisco going to the bottom of the fifth.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
Back to you, Thank you, Steve O. I will give you,
Mike Harmon a big bold prediction for next year in
the WNBA. You ready for next year? Next year, I'll
give you a big mopen coming off of tonight, all
the series, first round series gonna best three out of five,
gonna be the best because you get all the complaints
(32:39):
with Indiana winning and and and the travel and and
it's not a big it's it's not as much of
a it's not as big of a of a benefit
to be the higher seed in the first round when
it's best of three and now you have your going home, right,
you're gonna see it's gonna be Hey, why not we
can sell more tickets make things better, but it will
(33:00):
be best three out of five next year in the
first round of the POH no guarantee, There's no question
about it.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
And when you've got a situation where the fever are
better without Caitlin Clark.
Speaker 1 (33:13):
Exit up about a Fresco exit swollen down. The Jason
Smith Show with my best Fred Mike Harmon coming up next.
We do it every week. We give you our big
upset special picks of the week in the NFL. Who's
coming up with a big w at least by the
number that's next right here, Jason and Mike Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Jason Smith
Show with Mike Harmon weekdays at ten pm Eastern seven
pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
Fox Sports Radio. The Jason Smith Show with My best
friend Mike Carmon. Yeah, we'll have more on the final
Dodger Stadium start for Clayton Kershaw, maybe his last appearance
at Dodger Stadium ever, maybe his last pitching appearance ever.
Coming up. He never comes back even for old timers. Damn,
I'm finished and ain't coming back, but just really quick
(34:06):
before we get to our upset special picks. You know. Uh,
Steve de Saga brought us a story. Look, big upset
in WNBA playoffs. The Phoenix Mercury send the New York
Liberty home, and now two of the higher seeded teams
going home in the first round in the best of
three series. And I told you, I guarantee you two
things are gonna happen next year because teams are really
(34:26):
upset about this. You finish with a better record during
the regular season, and you should get spoils, right, which
is home court advantage. But it's a three game series, right,
And not only that, you have teams traveling crazily across
the country because it's one through eight, Right, New York
had to go to Phoenix and three games. New York
(34:47):
goes to Phoenix and then back to La beat. Two
things are gonna happen next year because teams are upset.
All the series are gonna be three out of five,
which you can do because there's enough out there for
three out of five. And they'll find some way to
realign the playoffs more geographically, because it's just stupid to
have New York play Phoenix in the front. This is
like going back to the NHL playoffs in the nineteen
(35:09):
seventies and eighties, where it was team one played Team sixteen,
like the Islanders would have to play the Kings in
the first round ago, Like that was this ridiculous way
to do it. Here's another NBA doing this in twenty
twenty five. So I give you those two Big Bowl
predictions for next season.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
Well, the other gets fixed as you expand and you
have more teams and then you eventually separate into conferences
you know, a little a little differently, with a little
realignment and whatever. We'll we'll see that, because what do
you got to the six versus seven in terms of
how it's currently set up. We've got more teams coming on,
and as the cash cow has proven, you'll get to
(35:47):
a more reasonable schedule and set up to where we
eliminate this. But I get your point, but certainly more
games will be there. I mean, it's cash cow. So
folks want to be salty. You can be salty, but
but you know you play to win the games.
Speaker 1 (36:07):
Hello, you play now? Speaking of right, you still have
home court, finish the job. Now, speaking of playing to
win the games, yes, you play to win the games
unless you're playing to cover the number. Well. Time now,
Mike and I to give you our upset special picks
this week in the NFL. I'm gonna give you two
teams from the same city getting the same number of points. Okay, first, Okay,
(36:31):
I'm gonna give you the Jets getting seven over the Bucks. Okay,
the Bucks are banged up. A Buka may Or may
not play. He's dinged up. You know Mayfield was dinged
up this week. All of a sudden, this high powered
Tampa Bay offense might not be operating at peak efficiency
on Sunday. They're coming off a big Monday Night win.
(36:54):
This is a gut check game for the Jets, playing
their first game away from home, which I think is
a good thing for them. They know that a big
effort in this one. Aaron Glenn, You're gonna start to
see his influence on the team this game. I think
they come out big early and they stay in this one,
and it takes a late field goal by Tampa Bay
and Baker Mayfield to pull this one out. Again, the
(37:16):
Jets are going to finish with heartache. But it'll take
a late field goal by Tampa to win this game.
And the Jets cover the seven. Give me the Jets
getting seven against Tampa.
Speaker 3 (37:24):
Yeah, you take some solace in the fact that your
team is considered at least a half point better than
when the line opened. How about that somewhere between It
was at seven and a half. Now you're either looking
at six and a half or seven. I'm gonna go
with a little bit of a price shot on the road,
the Las Vegas Raiders going up against the Washington Commanders
with Marcus Mariota, Mariota and company given three forty fours
(37:48):
to total. I'm encouraged by Chip Kelly talking about load
management and all of that fun stuff with Ashton genty,
which means he's touching the ball forty.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
Five times this Yeah, yeah, absolutely hundred percent.
Speaker 3 (37:59):
As soon as he starts talking like that and like,
I release the cracking, it's unfortunate. I've already done the
fantasy takes. I'm like, this is not a great matchup.
We're not seeing it. He's been bad in pass bro,
that doesn't matter this time. It's just tucking into his
gut and let him go and keep Gino from throwing
the ball on fourth down like.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
A dope on a bounce. The other upset special getting
seven points. Give me the Giants getting seven over the Chiefs.
They'll hang around. The Giants are good at that, right,
you saw them last week. Maybe they hit on a
little bit of something something. The Chiefs aren't great, and
number one, we have seen the one thing I've seen.
No matter how good Chiefs teams are the last few years,
(38:37):
they are good at keeping lesser teams in games. Right,
it's gonna take a game where Mahomes does it all
by himself and he scrambles for big yards, which is
gonna frustrate the hell out of the Giants. It's gonna
take a late score by Kansas City. They will escape,
whether it's a defensive stand or a field goal at
the end, or they they're they're killing the clock at
(38:58):
the end. But it's gonna be a one possession game.
Kansas City outlast the Giants for their first win. But
seven points is a lot. I like the Giants. I
like Malik Neighbors to have another big game. Give me
the Giants getting seven.
Speaker 3 (39:10):
Oh, I dig the cut of your jim and it'll
be the legs of Mahomes to set up that winning
field goal. Ay, I got a chaos I'm gonna go
a little bit deeper. Let's go, and you've got the
higher points spread, no question, But just in terms of
perception versus reality, I'm gonna take Jake Browning and company
(39:31):
to go on the road, getting a field goal at
Minnesota and Carson Wentz forty one is your total? Minnesota
banged up right now and waiting to see exactly how
much you're gonna get out of that passing game. Hendrickson
should be able to get home. Some injuries on that
Minnesota front, and we'll see the Bengals continue to fire
the ball down field. So I'm gonna take the high
(39:53):
powered offense to get the job done.
Speaker 1 (39:56):
Look at Jake down going, Browning going Browning proud.
Speaker 3 (40:00):
Nick, I love all the extra quarterbacks getting into the mix.
Speaker 1 (40:04):
Let's just do this early. Oh yeah, yeah, I mean
it could have been. It was supposed to be. Hey,
we got Joe Burrow and JJ McCart No, no, no, no,
we don't. We don't have that anymore. We don't have
that anymore. It's a good thing. That's a ten am
Pacific game. No, no, that game has been put on
NBA TV. It's no longer. Yeah, they're not gonna be
It's gonna be an NBA TV now. Yeah, yeah, sorry
about It's like a Bucks playoff game. Yeah, hi, honest
(40:28):
exit out about of Fresca, Exit Swollen Dome. Coming up next,
we get back into the biggest story of the night,
Jason and Mike. This is Fox Sports Radio, Fox Sports Radio,
The Jason Smith Show with my best friend Mike Harmon.
Let's go. We'll have more on Giants Dodgers coming up,
and a bit the final start of Clayton Kershaw's career
(40:50):
at Dodger Stadium. Probably maybe, maybe, but kind of. We
are less than twelve hours away from another big slate
of college football. The Big Nude Kickoff is eleven and
a half hours away. Nobody to talk to then, longtime
friend of the show, the owner, editor, proprietor of College
(41:11):
Footballnews dot com. You're one stop shopping for everything college football,
all the picks, all the prognostications, all the analysis. He's
on Twitter at Pete feu Tech. It is Pete feutech.
What's happening, man? How are you?
Speaker 6 (41:25):
I'm doing all right? You know, it's getting fun. Tonight
was kind of fun. Some interesting you know games happening
and yeah, it's been a weird year so far, and
it's gonna get weirder tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (41:36):
Yeah, I mean I kind of I kind of like
the weirdness. I mainly I like the fact that some
teams that have been it's always better when the when
the heritage programs are better in college football, and clearly
we're seeing Hey maybe Florida State, Miami USC all these hits.
Hey maybe they're all for real, which is which would
you know, be a big balance out for the fact
(41:57):
that Arch Manning is no good.
Speaker 6 (41:59):
Yeah, that's kind of crazy. Well, the part of the
problem is nobody's that good. I mean, like, you know,
it's you know, Ohio State's Ohio State, but I think
really number one, well only because they beat a Texas
team which obviously has issues. You know, Penn State, we
still don't quite know. You know, Florida State has the
one game Miami looking strong, but there doesn't appear to
(42:23):
be that one killer team left yet. Like like again,
last year, you knew Ohio State just was it. Uh,
we don't have that yet. So it's gonna kind of
play itself out obviously, But there's a lot of weird
twists and turns along the way, you know, Georgia looks
vulnerable against Tennessee. And you know, but the real fun
part about this year is more than last year we have.
(42:47):
It's really about the schedule because man, are some teams
getting a big break and then there's the Oklahomas of
the world that just get a murderer's row. So you
look ahead of some of these slates. And that's why
late last weekend when Cal is able to slip by Minnesota,
oh who cares, you know, ended at three o'clock in
the morning on East Coast time. Well, you look at
(43:09):
the rest of the CAL schedule. They're gonna be favored
in just about every game except maybe Louisville if they
can get by Boston COLLEGEWN the road next week. And
all of a sudden, you've got Cal, who might be
like SMU this year and be like eleven and one
or ten and two. You look at, you know, just
teams across the book. Iowa State, even though you know
they're you know, play for the Big twelve championship games,
(43:31):
their schedule all of a sudden looks really easy because
teams like Oklahoma State are now free space games. Teams
like UCLA game is a free space game. So all
of a sudden, these schedules are starting to open up
a little bit more than we thought they were.
Speaker 3 (43:45):
All right, d because you know, selfishly, we watched the
Big Ten actual scoring Iowa and Rutgers today. But Illinois
and Indiana getting together, Illinois number nine with Altmeyer under center,
first time they played together, ranked since nineteen fifty.
Speaker 6 (44:01):
Yeah, that's this is not your typical, you know, game
for these two, at least for you know, Indiana. I mean,
Illinois used to be really good back in the day.
But I don't get the national attitudes towards this game.
Because Indiana is favored by a touchdown here, Milloy is better.
And I'm not you know, I know these teams inside
(44:23):
and out. I'm kind of not seeing why other than
that it looks like a bunch of Indiana people. It's
you know, we call it the Michigan bump. When all
you Michigan types wake up in the morning, you're like, oh,
I need something else to you know, make me more
happy about Michigan. They all bet on Saturday mornings and
crank up the line. I think that might be what's
happening with Indiana here. But you know, it's a good
(44:44):
Indiana team. I don't think it's quite as strong as
last year. This is a strong, strong Illinois squad. It's
got all the experience, it's got the coaching, it's it's
a fascinating game where I will be shocked if this
is not close until the end. But this is one
of those games where you know they're not The winner
of This is not Ohio State or Penn State or Oregon.
It's not in that category. But you look at the
(45:05):
schedule ahead for these two and you know the winner
of this it might be ten and two and be
right in the next of the college football playoffs.
Speaker 1 (45:12):
All right, Pete, big game of the day, Top twenty
five teams. You got unbeaten Auburn, undefeated Oklahoma, who's feeling great.
Matier is potentially the Heisman Trophy favorite right now. How
do you see this one? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (45:25):
The only reason Matiers the Heisman Trophy favorite?
Speaker 1 (45:28):
Fair.
Speaker 6 (45:29):
I mean he just you guys saw him against Michigan.
I mean he's okay, is he the guy? Is he
that good?
Speaker 3 (45:36):
So far?
Speaker 6 (45:37):
He's gonna get his chances because you know, you look
at those games Oklahoma has left. This is the easy one.
This is the layup game for the Sooners with the
rest of persuade that they've got left, because man, is
it brutal. Yeah, I don't think that Jackson Arnold's gonna
be able to get it done. I mean, I'm not
buying into Auburn quite yet. It's been a while since
(45:57):
the Hugh Freeze team has been anything special, so I
don't think Auburn's going to have anything to pull this off.
So Oklahoma should win. But Tire, I think it's gonna
be fine again, like you said, because there's no one
out there right now, because nobody's really seen Thomas Casiano
so yet, and people haven't gotten on the train yet
with Carson Beck. Yes, the tier is gonna get hyped up,
(46:19):
but then reality's gonna hit kind of hard. I think
for Oklahoma pretty soon with what's coming next to that schedule.
Speaker 3 (46:26):
Pete, as we look at the slate, I mean, one
of the games that stands out, Jason, I will yell
about it a little bit later on. But USC back
into the top twenty five heavy favorites at home against
Michigan State.
Speaker 1 (46:37):
Are you buying in USC a little?
Speaker 6 (46:41):
I'm not buying Michigan State. I just you know, I
was actually at the game, Like I told you last week,
I was up there. I think that team's not very good.
It's they don't have the lines. USC has the killer
pass rush. They're a little banged up. Michigan State is
gonna get some of those key pieces back, like they're
star receiver Nick Marsh. But I'm going to buy in
just for tomorrow that this really super late game. I mean,
(47:04):
because again, think about it. You're starting this game at
eleven o'clock in Michigan State time, you know, so it's
gonna end late for them. I think USC pulls away
and people start to start to get in their heads.
Oh yeah, maybe USC's pretty good. But yeah, the offense
is starting to click like it's supposed to, and at
the very least, the defense is attacking. It's not a
(47:25):
killer defense, but it's good enough to be a real
bother in the Michigan State backfield.
Speaker 1 (47:30):
Pfutech College Footballnews dot Com with us Jason Smith Mike
Carbon live from the Fox Sports Radio studios. Okay, so
tomorrow a game that we should see Notre Dame get
into the win column. I'll be favored by twenty five
against Perdue, but I'll tell you, Pete. I know their
schedule is easy the rest of the way, but can
you really start zero to two and make the playoff
(47:52):
Like it's one thing to say, hey, they can run
the table because the schedule is easy, it's another quiet
thing to do that over ten plus weeks in a row.
Speaker 6 (48:00):
Yeah, they could really, It could just as easily be
two and er right now, you know there but for
a you know, a misspandles on a you know, an
extra point and uh, you know missed fourth down stop.
They beat Texas A and m they were right there
laid against Miami. And the thing to remember about nor
name going back to the beginning of last year, those
(48:20):
are two of the three best quarterbacks they faced because
Tyler Shuk was got talent wise, the best quarterback they
faced last year. They have to feel tains King at
Georgia Tech. Uh, Marcel Reid and Carson Beck. Those are
real quarterbacks that they had to face. There's probably better
college wise and Drew Aller and definitely Will Howard. So
and that's that those guys are good and they've got
(48:41):
they placed two great offensive lines. Miami and Texas A
and M have first rounders on the offensive line. Miami
might have two top ten picks on the offensive front
and so, and they were right there. They were really close.
I mean they lost close enough to where being oh
two really shouldn't matter. But now you've got to come
out just thunder dunk on everyone for the rest of
(49:02):
the way. I want to see what this team really
can start to do because I had a kind of
an inks thought this all off season. They were looking
a little bit too you know, media savvy, they're there,
move it out there a little bit too much. I
have a friend of mine who you know, called him
Marcus Ditka because you know, after the figure, he took
every single possible media opportunity to get out there and
(49:25):
every single sort of yeah, the way to get is,
you know, get to promote the program. But now now
you'll see him buckle down. I think you're gonna see
the real Notre Dame starting tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (49:34):
All right.
Speaker 3 (49:34):
I love the headline for the article you wrote about
this game. Forty seven is the total North Carolina at
Central Florida getting seven the battle of the coaches front
and center. But can North Carolina straight string together another
win and maybe get us back into the consciousness beyond
Dancing with the Stars, quit spabbles, and this.
Speaker 6 (49:56):
Is another team where if you look at the North
Carolina schedule, if they they can just get their stuff
together already, they've got a very very favorable schedule the
rest of the way. And UCF I'm not there yet.
They had a easy first couple of games. But look,
you know, Scott Frost, it's Bill Belichick. These are two
accomplished head coaches. But you know, look they're Bill Belichick's
(50:20):
not here if they didn't have three losing seasons in
his last four years of New England and Scott Frost
isn't here if it wasn't such a miserable failure at Nebraska.
So you know, let's see what these guys can do
at whatever's gonna be focused on. I don't think either
of these two do anything in their respective conference races,
but we'll see how who's who's there faster. And for
North Carolina just there. They should be better than this.
(50:43):
You see, after the complete rebuild, they lost so much,
so Scott Frost gets the free pass for this year,
but I get Belichick brought in sixty new players, but
they should be way better than they've been so far,
especially defensively.
Speaker 1 (50:57):
All right, Pete, you know you mentioned really briefly a
few moments ago, but I see, you know what if
I had to look, if you wanted to make the
conversation about who the Heisman front runner should be right now,
it's not just about stats, but it's about impact with
the program. And you look at Carson Beck and Miami
seven touchdowns so far, they're three and oh, they're ranked
fourth in the country. To come in after the number
(51:19):
one overall pick in the draft and maybe to make
your team even better than they were a year ago.
Like that's something from Miami. Like of all these teams, like,
that's the team I'm buying that is back the most
out of the ones we talked about.
Speaker 6 (51:31):
And it's not next week. I think it's two weeks
from now when we get Miami versus Florida State because
all of a suden like everyone forgot Florida State, which
I'm not a stals of percent buying into yet. But
they handled Alabama without any sort of an issue. And
that's because Thomas Cassianos, who you know, was kind of
(51:52):
running his mouth all off season all we got and
he was right he would be cashed that check. He
was great against Alabama, and so if he can blow
up against Miami and they get that win, or if
Carson beckets excellent and they get to win over that
Florida State team to beat Alabama, then all of a sudden,
there's your Heisman race starting to kick in. But there
(52:12):
there really isn't a front runner out there. They're just again,
if Matier actually could light this up. Because again, if
Oklahoma is great and he's wonderful against all these great
teams as soon as I have to play against, then
the Heisman race is his. I just don't really see
it quite yet. So the our Heisman front runner has
yet to really emerge.
Speaker 1 (52:33):
You can fall on Twitter at Pete few Tech. That
is at Pete feu Tech. College Footballnews dot Com is
your website one stop shopping for everything college football. Pete's
gonna have eight hundred words tomorrow on Steve Vangelli, leading
passer in college football.
Speaker 6 (52:50):
Oh, I go for four his name, right, it's one
L or two. Every time I know lveld it like
twelve times in the last week or something.
Speaker 1 (53:01):
You just you just gotta say it's peanut, butter and jelly.
That's all you got to worry about peanut, butter and jelly.
That's what it is.
Speaker 3 (53:08):
See now, you prompted the other thing, right, But what
about your coach threatening to beat people up?
Speaker 6 (53:16):
You tell some fun tomorrow, don't wings Plempston and it'll
be an interesting press conference if they do.
Speaker 1 (53:24):
As always, Buddy, enjoy the games, man, we'll talk to you. Yeah,
that matchup right in a way.
Speaker 3 (53:32):
He does or doesn't do things your coach saying, if
you come after my guys, you will find me.
Speaker 1 (53:37):
It's just next level stuff. Get him in the octagon. Yeah, No,
you know what, here's the thing I feel. I feel
weirdly good about that game tomorrow. I know it's tough,
it's gonna be hot, it's Death Valley, it's and I've
seen Syracuse play well for three quarters down there before
and just absolutely gack it away. But now they have
a great quarterback at number one passer in the country, right,
(53:59):
picking up where Colum Court left off. I have a
pretty I have a weirdly good feeling about the game tomorrow.
Now I'll start out on fourteen nothing and that'll that'll
change everything.
Speaker 3 (54:08):
But you know, yeah plus seventeen and the over under
is fifty four. You fly through that fifty four, don't
you oh one hundred yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 1 (54:19):
That just seems like a given.
Speaker 3 (54:21):
Your guy Beck is the currently off of one odds
board that that I'm looking at as a slight edge
as your heisman favorite. So some money coming in this
week backing you. Maybe it was you?
Speaker 1 (54:34):
No, I bet you never know. You never know. Exit out,
bout of Fresca, exit swollen down the Jason Smith Show
